15. Formal balls weren't a thing in your world so you have been hiding in this strategically chosen corner to avoiding having to step on anyone's toes. Unfortunately someone really, really, REALLY, wants to dance with you and has managed to track you down AGAIN.
I was surprised to get Ortho requests this event since I haven't exactly written anything specifically dedicated to him but he is such a good character. He deserves all the love and friendship in the world, and this prompt suits him well given how he acts with Idia.

This had been a mistake.
As much as you liked looking out on the fantastic scenery in front of you, it is all extremely overwhelming. Almost like it's wasted on you, the magical scenery is simultaneously completely comprehensible and extremely unnatural. You've seen pictures of Masquerade balls, seen them used in anime, listened to songs, and thought long and hard about just what it was you would do if you ever magically got invited to one. And now that you actually have been you are faced with the grim reality that no, just because everyone is wearing a mask that doesn't mean that you will suddenly overcome your distaste for crowds or figure out how to dance.
"Yuu!" Now if only you could make a certain someone agree. "There you are! You're getting better at this hiding thing." Ortho floats to keep himself at eye level with you, cheeky toothy smile freed for the special occasion.
"Really?" You groan, maybe you can bargain your way out of this one.
"Ha ha no." Ortho laughs, moving to cut you off from your exit and repeats the same question that's been haunting you all night. "Please dance with me Prefect! It'll be a bunch of fun."
"Don't wanna." You huff in an all too familiar way to Ortho, but he is surprised to find himself at a bit of a loss. Idia is Idia, and you are Yuu, his data is lacking on what to suggest to get you to agree to his request. It's a bit exciting actually, like playing an RPG blind and still trying to get a good end with your favorite companion.
[Ortho: Persuasion] "But I really want to dance with you, Prefect." He makes sure to sag his joints just enough to invoke sympathy without seeming like he is about to throw a tantrum. It seems to sort of work, but not in the way he really wants it to. You just look like you feel horrible for disappointing him and uncomfortable.
"I'm really sorry Ortho." you try to keep your breathing steady, flustered between seriously considering his request (there's no pressure if you are just dancing with a friend, right?) and still trying to plan your out. "But I am just not good at formal stuff like this at all, we don't have big parties like this in my world anymore. And even when there were dances in my world it's not like I ever got invites to any of them." Maybe that's the real reason you don't want to go out onto the floor, not that you can't dance. Deuce certainly isn't able to do things properly no matter how hard he is trying, and Ace is not even doing that. But you still don't quite feel like you... belong here, not after how big of a deal Crowley made out of your invitation being something he was "obliged" to give. "And I don't even know how to dance! I'll just step on everyone's feet and make things awkward."
"Hm, well then that's all the more reason for you to dance with me!" Ortho is... laughing? Not in a mean spirited way, but kindly. It's a soothing tone somehow, and as he mock bows you don't feel like he is intending on making you the butt of a joke at all. "I don't have any toes for you to step on, and if anyone you are uncomfortable with tries to make you dance I can just blow them up with my lasers."
"Uh maybe don't do that?" You gingerly take his hand and let the floating boy spin you around in a dance that's more similar to two children on a playground than a proper ballroom sway, but between just how happy he is and how quickly your other friends join in you cannot bring yourself to remain embarrassed for long.
"That's right prefect," Ortho whispers when he notices you have finally calmed down, "you aren't in your world anymore. And sometimes that probably sucks but tonight? It means that you are very much invited to the ball. Awesome right?!" He means that last bit about himself as much as he does you, you suppose but that doesn't make it any less true. Tonight, you are very much exactly welcome and where everyone wants you to be.

I wore my Team USA/Herb Brooks hoodie to work today and one of the guys had to nerve to say "I bet you don't even know who Herb Brooks was".
Sir, my father grew up next door to Brooks (and hated him). I am a Minnesotan hockey fan. I have seen the movie "Miracle". Trying to tell me I know nothing about Brooks. 😡
SO NATURALLY I may have gone into a bit of "I know more than you" mode and listed off half his accomplishments/coaching stops.

yesterday i hooked my phone up to a radio w/this new aux able i bought to play music for the kids at work, and i was kind of surprised how i could basically just play everything i had downloaded on my phone for the kids (bc i've been too lazy to build playlists on it) until later, i was sitting at the front desk, typing stuff up, and then i heard a green day song start playing, and i fucking sprinted back inside bc even tho i think punk would be good for the kids, most of them are single-digit ages, and i am NOT gonna be the adult who lets them hear the word "fuck"
#i don't think the kids would have even noticed tbh; and the song was 'basket case' so it's like. there's not much objectionable in there#like i was like. thirteen when i first heard that song n granted i grew up sheltered. but i was like 'what's a hoar'#(bc i didn't know that it was spelled 'whore' until i was like. sixteen or something lol)#and just moved on with my day lmao#the worm speaks#at one point i popped back into the room (bc due to Shenanigans i was checking on this one girl in another room) n cazzo by ?te was playing#and i was like 'ohhhh my god' n skipped it bc even tho those kids most certainly do not get what the song is about. it did not sit right#and then i skipped this one song bc it said 'bitch' in it exactly once <3 but that's about all actually#the utena op played at one point n i was like 'should i-- NAHHHH they've never seen utena and it's in jp it'll be Fine'#also i was granted a whistle yesterday n the first time i used it i used it the way i would outside (as like a drum major)#(we were indoors) and HOOOOOO BOY THE SILENCE THAT FELL OVER THE ROOM.#i said 'as you can see i have been granted a whistle now and i have a lot of lung to use it so i'd appreciate it if we could listen'#at one point yesterday i put the whistle in my mouth n looked over the kids n they just H U S H E D#i will have to learn how to reign in a whistle sound but i think in general whistles shouldn't be used indoors. like as a rule.#the reason i received a whistle is bc we were playing this new game i made up called 'court of law'#it was inspired by the fact that during winter camp some kids had an argument over a pokemon card that was given away#and so i gathered all the relevant children around and wrote down everyone's testimonies n stuff to sort it out like it was a courtroom#but what ended up happening yesterday is that the kids n i just larped courtroom dramas or something idk but it was fun <3#ALSO YESTERDAY this one kid (the clever one) came up to me when i let kids play with the whiteboard n he was like#'mys. Pokemon Crystal (Ken Sugimori)

I had a Pokemon Crystal strategy guide with all 251 Pokemon in it that I studied religiously when it came to making monsters of my own. I love Ken Sugimori's illustrations so much - the dappled paint makes it so soft, gives everything the feeling of being struck by light dancing down from foliage above. The subtle implied detailing with line strokes and shadow allows the imagination to run wild. They, truly, feel like creatures to have adventures with. And of course, Pokemon is a juggernaut of an RPG, facilitating those childhood fantasies, and then there's a TV show showing them playing and shouting their name and fighting... No wonder so many people got hooked on it!
Dragon Warrior Monsters 2 (Akira Toriyama)

Since they're designed as enemies foremost, Dragon Quest's monsters can get a lot kookier & scarier than Pokemon can. And Toriyama gives his monster designs so much charm and personality! You feel like he always has fun coming up with them, and it makes every Dragon Quest game more delightful for having them be your foes (and sometimes friends). Also, all the English names are puns and portmanteaus and other fun word things!

Uniquely grotesque beasts from a deeply obscure Japanese RPG named After Armageddon Gaiden, the second in a duology about player-controlled demons fighting alien invaders. Some of the designs get quite gory or disturbing, fair warning. But in a cool way!! The sheer strangeness of these designs are something to behold!... And they have the best names ever, like "Barabumblebo"...

Yu-Gi-Oh's early monster designs are something I think about a lot. I don't know what that says about me, but I do know they're unbelievably cool, a blend of genuinely scary Egyptian-flavored horror and wacky, tropey, cartoony fantasy. The fact that these ridiculous designs are frequently art for a card that's completely worthless in terms of winning duels, combined with their randomly specific descriptions about how unbelievably powerful they are, gives them a certain mystique. It's as if the creature you see depicted truly exists as a part of some greater fantasy world...
Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time

Seeing properly scary monsters inside a strange virtual world in Ocarina of Time was quite the experience for my young self. For example, I had nightmares about the Stalchildren who used to burst, endlessly, from the ground of the strangely empty Hyrule Field. But that also made it feel like such an adventure! The thrill added to the experience. And even many of the game's races are quite monsterlike; Gorons, Zora, Deku, and so forth. This had me imagine turning a "bad" creature into a friend, a concept I cherish to this day... hence Love-Love here.

I had an obey me brain root early and I finally realized something: Lucifer is, in fact, the thing who glue the family together
1. He is the one who adopted brothers like they're pokemon
2. The family dynamic still will work if someone other brother goes away but it will stop if Lucifer died (or any other stuff happens with him)
Ok let me elaborate: I'm not saying that the brothers will stop talking with each other in the minute of the incident happens, this change would be more gradual and slow for some of them (or faster)
If Lucifer dies, Mammon and Asmo will try to keep the family together, but slowly they'll stop joking and talk. The silence will be predominant in the dinner table
We all know that no one of them knows how to grief. Lilith dead still hurt them but if they lost Lucifer? They spent much more time with Lucifer than with Lilith. They went with him in hell just because they wanted spent time with him
Belphie will be the first one who will isolate himself (oblivious) and Satan will be the second (he lost his dad for the sake of suffering) and family will fall apart after that
The brothers love each other and they still do, but it hurts so much they can't ignore the problem and stop talking or thinking about Lucifer, they can't act like nothing happened
The brothers miss each other but they also don't know how to talk with each other after their loss and one night maybe months after the incident the house of lamentations will be finally in complete silence and empathy
Yes, yes, yes! All of this.
Also, I really do love the image of Lucifer collecting his brothers like they're Pokémon, so cute and hilarious. Now I just keep thinking of them all designed as Pokemon and what kind of skills they would have... Lucifer with the little trainer outfit...
Barbatos as one of the Nurses... Diavolo as the Professor...
Would that make Simeon and Solomon Team Rocket?...
But moving on!
I know for a fact that somewhere within the original Shall We Date, there is a flashback scene (I can't recall if it's in the story lessons or in one of the cards) but shortly after the Fall, Lucifer is pretty depressed, he confessions to Mammon that he's having a hard time keeping it together. Mammon then takes up his proper Second-In-Command role and essentially shakes Lucifer and lectures him, forcing him to get a grip. Because Mammon acknowledges that if Lucifer breaks/leaves/etc. the family will fall apart.
Lucifer is the first in command for a reason. All his brothers followed him for a reason. They all look up to him and admire him deeply even if they won't admit it. Lucifer would raise hell and do anything for his family.
So if he were to disappear... things wouldn't be the same.
They all have their part to play. They all need each other.

Error and Ink headcanon
real tiny TW of triggering people on purpose so be warned(its only mentioned once)
so lets say hypothetically, if all the creators were to lose interest then the multiverse would die a slow and sad death until only the void is left. Now Error and Ink obviously are the only ones with direct contact to the creators so lets just say that any sort of truce or peace between sides tends to bore a lot of creators(enough to cause worry). They want action! drama! death! all of the above. So! every time the multiverse comes even a little bit close to a truce, lets say dream and nightmare get close to apologizing to each other and/or the council starts to learn their ways that would be the eventual end of the multiverse(In their eyes) so Ink and Error have this mutual agreement to continuously fuck shit up even if it cost the both of them their relationships and lives.
Error does this in an obvious way, by doing what he does best(destroy, and by proxy bringing creators back so they can create more to replace them and stay out of spite) but i think he would make truces with people like fresh and the council and such only to break them off on short notice or barley work with them at all and cause general mistrust. In think he would be betray Nightmare and foil his plans a lot because even if the bad side wins in the end that's still gonna turn constant and for many creators(unfortunately) that's just as boring as a world that's happy all the time. Error would definitely fool the council into thinking he's a good guy and even being content with it himself until the creators start to pester him and bring his intrusive thoughts back out.
In the other hand Ink would stay content for a while playing the good guy and encouraging creators to make more universes to keep it alive however in times of desperation he would turn to other measures such as leaning into his chaotic good to neutral side and even betraying dream for Nightmare starting as small favors and possibly even tuning into something bigger(im squeezing in some hypothetical Inkmare cause i can, but kinda one sided wont say for who tho). He'd even break his own rules of not interfering with a story just to get an "interesting" sans out of it to bring old creators back to a creation that they had once long forgotten(basically giving out more trauma like pokemon cards).
The both of them would see drama between two san's or people and both actively think of ways to make it worse or stretch it out for longer then it should have initially been as well as being everyone's #1 instigator and i think Ink especially(but also Error too) would "accidently" trigger people mid fight to escalate things and just ruin any chance of rekindling old friendships unless those friendships and relationships are "interesting"(Ink) or "worth it"(Error) in the long run.
The creators voices(Error) and creative drive of the creators(Ink) would most definitely sway them and if they're in the middle of messing something up but the creators suddenly seem to have a change of heart or find interest without any intervention they would stop what they are doing and leave them alone finding something else to do.
And when the day is done they would both meet up in outertale(an au the creators seem to love and therefore almost never gets touched besides from a visit or two) sit down side by side and both silently wonder what life would be like if the creators didn't have to be there and they could both let the Multiverse run its natural course.
(i imagine them to have some sort of QPR here but this is up to how you interpret it!)

For quite a while now I’ve been struggling to communicate with deities. I am fairly new so I’m not sure what’s the norm. Is it normal to be able to see them or hear them? I don’t have access to divination such as tarot so it makes me like I’m lacking communication skills compared to others. Is it like a specific feeling that just settles in your mind, knowing they’re there? Or am I just doing something wrong?

I know there's a lot of pressure within the pagan community to be able to communicate flawlessly with deities, and honestly, it's complete bullshit. Not one worshipper is perfect at communicating with deities, and no worshippers can speak for deities.
That being said, you are perfectly fine doing what you're doing as is. While some people can feel the energies of deities when they're around, others cannot, and that's entirely normal. You're not doing anything wrong; if anything, it takes practice sometimes. You may also be what's known within the community as "headblind" meaning you're not able to sense much or anything at all when it comes to spirits, deities, and the like. I personally know many headblind worshippers, and they're all able to love and worship their deities just the same. You don't need to be the actual Pythia - ancient priestess of Apollo who delivered prophecies directly from him - to worship deities.
Since you said you were new, I'm guessing you may also not know of other forms of divination you can try to use to communicate with deities. Oftentimes (and I am guilty of this myself), people have a habit of summarizing all divination usable for deity community to just tarot, but there are endless ways to divine! In fact, my good friend, Mae, is currently doing something where she shares various forms of divination to answer people's questions as a means of celebrating 1,000 followers. I recommend you check out what she's doing, as it can show you just how flexible and unlimited divination can really be. @madmonksandmaenads - this is her tag!
Regarding forms of divination you can try, aside from tarot, there are self-made runes (Greek or Norse), playing cards (like poker cards), Pokemon cards, pendulums, osteomancy (throwing bones), shufflomancy (using music and playlists to answer questions), smoke reading, candle wax reading, tea leaves and coffee residue, bird watching, shower steam (looking at the steam on the walls of your shower or mirror), and literally SO many other ways! The community tends to make it seem like tarot is your only option, but I promise you that you will always have access to at least one form of divination around you. The world itself was crafted and molded by the gods, so naturally, you can find their voices in everything.
I hope this helps you, Nonny. Please know that your worship and practice don't need to look like everyone else's in order to be valid. What you choose to do is what works best for you, and that's ultimately all that matters. You don't need to hear the voices of the gods themselves or see them within your mind's eye 24/7. The stories you often hear about on Tumblr and other platforms tend to be exaggerated; people only really share the most interesting parts of their worship - things that will get views and attention. Try not to feel too bad that your worship is a lot more down-to-earth than others; mine is as well. It's ok that you can't do the things others are claiming to be able to (and remember that sometimes people lie about these abilities). Nothing is wrong with you, Nonny, not a single thing.

"Because you did break the vase! You ran into it!"
"YOU DISTRACTED ME!"
"WE DON'T HAVE TIME FOR THIS!"
"Oh, that's typical. Can't even apologize-"
"How about I punch you right now and then apologize later!"
"YOU WANNA FUCKING GO!?"

Shadow just watches until he feels a little hand tug his. "They're gonna be doing this for a while," Tails would say. "You wanna see my Pokemon cards until they're done?"
"Um," says Shadow. "Sure?"
And that's how a typical blowout sibling fight and Tails' favorite Eevee saved the world.

Right, Käärijä gig:
- first of all the venue, Trix: I like the staggered floor, gives plenty of visibility near the back too. Like 013 or Doornroosje in NL in that regard. Similar size too, I love a good mid-sized venue. However, the times for the doors and opening act were weird. Why does the opening act start right when the doors open? They're starting with no one in the venue?
- the opening act, Wørtaal was great btw. Hardstyle's not my genre but they had some fun remixes and mixing in violin for some was really interesting.
- the crowd was great, lot's of chanting his name, a lot of singing along. Käärijä mentioned a few times how crazy we were and how he couldn't believe having this crowd here. Shout out to the person next to me knowing legit every single word to every song. You looked as cool as you are. Also shout out to the couple folks taking their shirts off for Paidaton Riehuja!
- I would've loved to have heard Fantastista but allas. Setlist was still great!
- Käärijä mentioned he was a bit sad the day before but he was so happy to be there and said he was happy again because of us.
- why'd he rip that fan's shirt? No clue, but he made fun of Belgian people buying something new and immediately breaking it. Also said he'd use it, then give it back. Making a joke a joke about how the fan could smell it later at home iykyk. That's where the whole Bojan shirt story thing came in.
- Häärijä was so funny, the 3 Daltons were too omg. Käärijä told Häärijä to say something as he opened a pack of Pokemon cards and the whole crowd started chanting Häärijä
- the little talks about everyone in the crowd being family, about it being a 'safety' space and to not fight or touch people unwanted and to give a yell if something happened so they could come help. To go out and follow your dreams and be your best.
- Käärijä is legit so fucking good live. Energy unmatched. Well, Emelia from the crowd matched it pretty well but still.
Final note I saw a lot of fans not wearing any hearing protection and one of the insta stories Käärijä shared also mentioned her ears hurting. Please, if you like live music at all, get hearing protection. Don't mess around with that stuff. Most venues nowadays sell hearing protection at the counter. Personally I use Loops which I like. Seriously, protect your hearing.

Never once broke a rule, never once tried to get away, never said no to giving him affection or anything he asks for
You have even taken care of him when he was sad ecc
But he can still see it in your eyes how scare you are of him
You flinch away everytime he just as much as lifts his hand, you always tremble slightly around him, your eyes has never stopped being glossy
The only time he sees any other emotion in you besides fear is when you're alone and he's not really sure how much better that is cause you look so defeated and sad and overall depressed
Needless to say the guilt is eating him alive, to know he's the one who has ruined you like that will never leave him a moment of peace
It's literally driving him crazy
At first he was like 'yeah whatever, fuck you. You'll stay anyway and I'm not going to say sorry'
Oh boy if he did regretted it
Once again, he feels like he felt while living with his parents all over again and after a while he develops this fear of you killing yourself like they did

He tries everything like everything for real
He becomes more patient, he tries to take care of you instead of making you take care of him, he treats you like you could break if he's not careful enough
At this point my boy doesn't even fuckin wants you to be in love or for you to get the Stockholm syndrome, he just wants to show you he's sorry and that he has learned his lesson
It's like living in some sort of loop from hell where he can't fucking make it right even if he really wants to
He has even stopped spying you and invading your privacy without you having to ask for it

And that's something he will never be able to get over
After countless months of trying and being in his best behaviour he just kind of snaps
You haven't seen him all day and you didn't felt observed either which made a very appreciated break from your hypervigilanting and stressing routine
Just when you thought everything was calm and you decided to head up to go to bed, there he was waiting for you at the top of the stairs
He seemed calm but you could seem the slight trembling of his body, one you recognise from numerous fits of rage he had in the past
He didn't straight up started to yell but you sensed there were like wrong and right answers to each question he was making
He kept asking you if you loved him truly, if you were happy or if you wanted to leave
To everything you always answered what he wanted to hear even tho the feeling that you were saying the wrong thing was only growing more and more
'You're scared of me, aren't you? You'll never want to be here'
At this point he knows you're lying and for a second something seems to switch in you
He has stopped wearing the mask around you so now you can freely see how pained he actually looks
You have never noticed before how tired he looks too
You have spent so much time being scared of him that now that you see it and you like really look at him you can see how defeated and miserable he has been
There's no trace of pretending or lying or trying to manipulate you in any way
Now you're still scared but not as much and for once you actually decide on your own to try and help him
You can't stand to look at him crying like that, it looks like he's going to die from a heartbreak anytime soon
You start to go towards him with your hands up forwards so he knows you mean no harm
It's really like trying to get a stray animal to trust you
He has his hands covering his face and you can see how violent are the sobs, you actually take a minute to let yourself be amazed by the fact that even with such a hard and brutal crying he's able to conceal the noise
He's used to do it since he was a kid and it shouldn't surprise you that much but in some way it does
When you finally reach for him that's when he pushes you away screaming
Which scares the shit out of you and makes you lose your balance
It's a cliché but he swears it all happened so fast but at the same time so slow
He saw how you made yourself trip backwards and your face contorted in panic as you felt the void behind you, realising you were about to fall down the stairs
He tried to grab you but you were trying to hold on the rail so you just completely missed his hand
You basically flew down the really long staircase and all he could do was watch
He had that paralysing feeling of guilt and fear clawing at his guts as he watched you fall
But when he heard the disgusting sound of your neck basically snapping against the hardwood floor, that's when he really felt sick
He almost wanted to run away and pretend nothing has happened cause in his mind, if he got near you now that would make you dead for real
For now as he watches from afar you could still be alive
BTW baby bro here is not stupid and I'm not talking basic level of knowledge nono
I'm talking he has studied and read about a lot of stuff including books about medical things like injuries ecc
Basically he's like really smart
That being said, and I know you know where I'm going with this
From the moment you fell he knew you wouldn't survive.
Either that or you would end up disabled
He knows too that when you snap your neck you don't die on the spot but you feel a ridiculous amount of pain until the injure does its course of action
That's yet another thing he feels guilty about your death
He should've put you out of your pain at least but he didn't, he just stared at you while shaking and crying silently
He didn't even dared to move in case some invisibile and unnoticed force of the universe would notice what he has done and decided to punish him for it
Which thinking about he felt like he was already being punished
It's kind of sad cause he didn't actually meant it, it was truly an accident but he will always blame himself for it as if he was the one actively pushing you
Now he knows that no matter what he does or how much he changes he's always destined to be the cause of the death of the people he loves.
Which he should've seen coming since not even his parents could bear his existence
MICHAEL MYERS:
Tbh he's not that shocked about it
I mean bro at least acknowledges the fact that he is the fucking boogeyman and everyone will always find him scary
He doesn't even tries to excuse himself because he knows he kills and he's a overall unhinged man and that's something a normal person will never get over
What bothers him is the acting nice
When you both met, you really didn't knew who he was
He happened to have been badly injured and was like bleeding the fuck out on your backyard
yes, you basically just took him inside as if he was some sort of stinky and pitiful ugly cat
That and the fact that you're taking care of him stirred him away from the idea of killing you
No shame in being oblivious to the most juicy gossip in town but bro was really just waiting for you to recognise him
When you did, and you started to act all nice and scared ecc he has to admit he took advantage of it
He knew how to scare you into never running away and never snitching him to the police so he could use you for food ecc
At some point he was impressed by how well you're able to keep up with this
No lashing out, no crying and you have never broke down
He could tell tho that you have never been this stressed
Your hands are always trembling, you don't sleep well at night so you're getting clumsier by the minute
When you drop stuff, burn food ecc he doesn't mind much but as time goes by it's hard for him to not get attached to you
Which it frustrates him cause he it makes him even more aware of how you see him
He has come to know you by invading your privacy a little bit
He had to since you were not exactly open to let him get to know you
The more he finds the more he likes you
And the more he likes the more he realise he has basically killed you from the inside
It's hard to think all of those things he has found out are about you cause now you look more like a shell of what you used to be
And he definitely feels the guilt of being responsible of you losing your spirit
You're the first person he really cares about and loves like really truly loves
But that goes against everything he is now cause he can't possibly choose between be with you or killing
He starts to dwell on the past too much and the more he thinks about it the more he gets mad about the situation
Before you he has never really care too much about the injustices he has suffered
As a matter of fact he has never really grasped the fact that so many people have failed him and that's why he will never have a normal life
There was a time where he kind of did but that was long ago when he was just a kid
At some point he just accepted what everyone said he was, that he's only purpose and role in life was to be a monster to everyone
Whether he wanted to or not it wasn't really important
No one would help him nor he could make people change their minds
Besides, his reasoning is that if so many people is saying it then it must be true
And in his own selfish way he thought that the only one who got the consequences of it was him and the idiots who happened to be killed by him
Now that he sees the result of what everyone and himself has done with him on you he just feels sick
He finds himself spending hours observing you and daydreaming about how a normal version of him would've lived a normal life with you
He tries really hard to show you he can be gentle
Spends hours observing other couples and what normal people do with their loved ones to understand better how he should act in order to get closer to you
It's so frustrating for him cause he literally doesn't has a choice anymore and he sees in you everything that's wrong with him that he can't change
He feels for the first time as broken as he really is
At some point he wishes you could just drop the act of being nice, treat him like trash so he can tell to himself you're like everyone else therefore he doesn't need you
But even if you were to do that he knows he would never be able to kill you
Everytime you touch him even if it's by mistake he gets a bubbly feeling of hope inside that maybe you're starting to see him as something different than what he is
But then he looks at your eyes and he sees the same glossy and sad scared stare looking right back at him
He knows there's like nothing else he can do and for the first time he just gives up
He needs to like get used to not be able to see you so he starts with small steps
He starts to staying out for a couple of hours more than usual, then hours turn to days, days into weeks, weeks into months and months into a year
Everytime he comes back and you see him he can immediately see the shift in your behaviour and how you lose all the already weak sparkle you have gathered from knowing he was far away from you
That's the worst part of it for him
He needs to see you, he wants to spend time with you and looks forward to see you for the last few times before going away fr
But you on the other part seem to flourish when he's not around, to count the minutes and seconds until he's gone
It kinda makes him feel like he felt when he was a kid and he wanted to see his parents
The day he finally came back for the last time after a year you were asleep
He didn't even sit on the bed, nor did he woke you up or did anything that could steer you away from your sleep
He sat on the floor near your bed in complete silence
He took off his mask knowing that you would never see him and he just stared at you
He wanted to look at you, take in every detail of your face to burn it in his brain so he would never forget you
He just wanted to look at you not as the shape, but just as Michael. Even if just for one time he wanted to pretend he was just that and that you were being stared by a person and not a monster
For once his difficulty in expressing his emotions was useful because if he were to let go of all the things he was experiencing he could swear he would just explode or melt away
The only thing that came out of him was a tear, which he swiped away slowly before getting up and putting on the mask again
After that he never came back, obviously you were over the moon and he was just well going on with it
He occasionally stalks you but after some time he stops cause it makes him feels sickeningly alone
Here something to think about if you need to cry: sometimes he thinks back at when he was trying to get closer to you
One of the things he wanted to do the most was holding hands but you always looked so scared when he tried to do that he just dropped it
He understands how it might look to you that this tall ass bastard is trying to hold your hand
That and the fact that he wasn't really good at being careful and gentle didn't help his cause
So from time to time, when he thinks about it he stares at his hands
You know when you like pretend to be holding someone's hand while holding yours?
Well he does that and finds ironic the fact that he has learned to do it gently now that he will never be able to do it with you

The fact is that much more like so many other slashers he can't really communicate to tell you at least his reasons for being a murderer
That's something that torments him daily, to know that in your eyes he's merciless and overall really evil
Assuming you survive being hunted down by him, he would do near to everything to show he's not a threat for you
You must have been someone who he didn't deem fair to kill
Like you were respectful, you didn't seem to be a fucking moron messing around and ruining his home

Keep in mind this man has known nothing from the world beside humiliation, pain and loneliness
Idk if anyone ever thinks about it but it torments me a great deal the thought of Jason's miserable life
Being stripped away from your humanity, having to choose a path of violence to protect yourself, having to witness how they kill the only person in the whole universe that could ever love you
That shit it's just not fair and even if he knows you're scared of him he sees it as the most caring and thoughtful anyone has ever been with him in a long time
Think about it, anyone who has ever seen him has either tried to kill him or has been incredibly cruel
The fact that, even if out of fear and self-preservation, you try to still reach to his human side and treat him with respect at least it's already enough
I think he could be one of those slasher that could make you fall in love without falling for the Stockholm syndrome type of infatuation

Jason would literally try everything to get you to feel less stressed around him
It breaks his heart to see your eyes glossy or your body shaking because of fear
In the process he gets clumsier by the minute so at the in of the day you're both stressed
He is because he's scaring you just by breathing and you bc obvious reasons
You can notice how different he acts tho and somehow, his efforts manage to go through your thick layer of fear
You could swear he almost tries to make himself look as harmless and gentle as possible
You can see him trying to take as little space as he can or bringing you things that might cheer you up
He cleans up from blood and gore before getting back home
He even makes his cabin more homely for you so you feel more at home and less kidnapped
And at some point it works
That plus you somehow piecing together what has happened to him it's starting to make it easier for you to not relax but overall feel less terrified around him
He would spend so much time watching you from afar because he knows he will never get to know you or see you without fear
The days where he can observe you without you noticing anything are his favourite. He gets to see a version of you more relaxed and natural
He would literally spend an eternity being far from you if it means you can feel better
He would spend his free time improving the cabin and daydreaming about what it would be like to be liked by you
Not even like dating you because he feels it would be wrong for him to even think about it
Please for the love of God, try to be friendly with him
Having the opportunity to know him better is taking away some of the fear
You know very well it's not Stockholm syndrome cause it feels genuine
One day you take a good look at him while he's taking care of his flowers I'm the garden
You observe every part of his rotting being and you can't exactly explain why but you feel your heart ache and your eyes glossy
Not for you, but for him
It's almost like some sort of illumination comes to you and makes everything painfully clear
You have obviously noticed he's not alive cause we're stupid but not that much
You take a really good look at his clothes and body, at his mask and everything you look at to get more details about him
Everything in his appearance screams hurt, wounded and mistreated. A whole life and a afterlife filled with getting hurt and abused by the world
His bright blue eye has always a layer of sadness in it even when he's doing something that makes him happy
It hits you just now how little human he must feel.
And that leads you to realise that he has not only changed so much just to please you but has distanced himself as if he's very own existence could be offensive to you
From that day you started with small steps like saying good morning or good night to him, keeping him company when he tended to his garden, trying to get closer to him even if that means just being in silence and standing next to him
That grows into "talking" with him, taking walks around the woods, spending evenings reading inside the cabin
You insist in eating together, tending his wounds, mending his clothes and overall doing anything that could make him feel less like the shell of a human being
At first he doesn't really get it but the more you do it the more he silently realises how much he craves those types of things.
I personally think that with enough patience you both could build a good relationship and you could even talk him out of killing people and settle for just scaring them away
He's favourite thing to do is curling up next to you in bed, his head on your chest so he can listen to your heartbeats while you mindlessly caress his back while telling him about anything you want

Some funzies before doing some emotional terrorism
Since you all want to be a menace with this requests I'm going to use post accident Jesse
To say this man is on the verge of tears every single day is an understatement
So long story short you were jesse s/o
He was like the love of your fucking life and you were his
His whole world goes around you, you're the only thing that makes him genuinely happy besides his work
You found out about the whole chromeskull thing in the worst way possible
He was scared of coming back after the accident with his face so he just kind of distanced himself
Everytime you would ask when he was coming home he always had an excuse
You both went a long time of just calling each other's, spending time on calls and sometimes even falling asleep with the phone still on
He missed you so much but he couldn't bear the thought of you looking at him like he was monster
It was killing him to know he was so close to you but couldn't reach you
You find out who he really was on accident
Cleaning around to distract yourself you ended up gathering many things that needed to be put in the attic so that you did
Once you were there you found some tapes. You checked them out of curiosity and oh boy you regretted it
You felt so sick you almost threw up
All those girls, there were some many of them in each tape and each one of them different from the other
It was horrifying to watch the love of your life mercilessly torture and kill helpless and innocent people
Now everything made so much more sense and It actually made you feel even worse to know that this whole time, while you were talking with him, Jesse was killing people
What hurts the most is feeling like you've been played, like you were something he has used to entertain himself until he finds a new victim
Needless to say you didn't stayed in your shared apartment a day longer, you didn't even take with half of the things you own
Most of them were gifts Jesse bought you so bringing them with you was only going to make it worse
You were scared out of your mind. So scared that in fact you couldn't even find the courage to go to the police, afraid that maybe that would end up with your being another one of Jesse victims
Obviously no one told Jesse what was going on. They all collectively agreed their boss was dealing with enough shit to keep adding more
They all needed Jesse to focus on work
That didn't worked well cause as soon as you stopped answering the phone he decided enough was enough
He needed to check what was going on so he found the courage to overcome his insecurities and go find you
He was heartbroken when he found you left
He immediately thought that you just got tired of waiting for him, that he has drawn you away
Long story short he went after you to find you and try at the best of his abilities to explain everything and win you back
He did not see the coming all that panic and terror in your face when he knocked at your door
He did think it was bc of his face so he tried to calm you down and explain
Needless to say you didn't calm down and he being the man he is, just kind of kidnapped you
Now onto business here
He knows you have every right to feel like this but it still upsets him deeply to know that he will never get the chance of being with you like before
He thought that you being scared and acting crazy every time you saw him was the worst but now he is kind of rethinking it
You started acting like this after he "snapped" at you
You were panicking and screaming while he tried to tell you something, that lead to you taking his mask off accidently which ended up in him pushing you off too hard
After that things went really fucking downhills
It wasn't like you were still out of your mind but the look in your eyes is unbearable
The first time you started the whole acting nice thing he almost thought you were starting to at least tolerate him but then he saw it
It's the same look some of his victims had while trying to gain his trust, seeing it on you was the worst thing he has ever experienced
He just couldn't stand it anymore, his face, you hating him, his favourite victim who was the one that has damaged him so badly killed by that cunt of Preston and now this? Mate is done
He has tried everything and anything but now he just kind of gives up
You notice the shift in his behaviour, how he comes by just to bring your meals or things you may need, he doesn't even goes near you or talks and his eyes are always anywhere but on you
I gotta be real with you guys, I don't think there's like a way to make this up
HE'S HURT OKAY? BRO'S EMOTIONAL DAMAGE IS BIG AF
He would even start sending his assistant to take care of you so he doesn't has to face you at all
It's just painful cause he already feels like his life is ruined and everything is falling apart with him not being able to fix it
You know what? I'm gonna fix it cause I can't take it anymore
You have probably grown used to be basically trapped at home, it's not like you're suffering with god knows what kind of abuse cause you basically have all you need to distract yourself aside from going out
Jesse comes home very rarely and as much as you hate to admit it you have been feeling less and less scared of him
You still think what he does is horrible but the thing that bothers you it's him lying to you
You do have to admit you miss being with him. Not like when you were scared but like when you didn't knew and he was just Jesse
You wonder from time to time if he's angry at you for how you have reacted since he hasn't shown himself for quite sometimes
As if on clue you hear something break in the bathroom and what seems like someone crying
That would be another of Jesse's mental breakdowns about his face. He thinks he looks so bad he can't even bear the sight of himself in the mirror
You slowly try to approach the bathroom and putting your ear against the door, you try to hear what's going on
You have never heard Jesse crying nor making any sort of noises come out of his mouth so it's actually quite shocking to hear him sob so hard
When you open the door the scene breaks your heart and in that moment you don't see chromeskull or the homicides, you just see your Jesse, the same one you have always loved and that has always helped you when you were down, on his knees bawling his eyes out and shaking
You just do what comes naturally aka you get closer and you just hold him as tight as possible
He tries to hide away, panicking bc he doesn't want you to see what he has become, but you just keep hugging him and saying that it doesn't matter
The moment you hold his face on your hands and look at him with the same understanding gaze you used to have it's the moment he feels his heart beating right again
It's not gonna be easy to accept everything but at least you're coming around it and he makes sure you know how grateful he is for it everyday

S.E.E.S, but Pokemon. (Kudos to those who can tell who's who without the readmore)
More info after the cut!
Tried to make everyone look like themselves without adding clothing/accessories. More difficult than expected, but a nice challenge!
I imagine either only persona users can use their moves (at all, or effectively, not entirely sure which) or when they use their personas (personamon?) they appear as an altered version of their fully evolved forms. Kinda like the second one better, as a way to use more powerful attacks and keep in theme with Persona games
Tried to keep them with their elemental affinities:
Mitsuru Kirijo: Sneasel. It just had the right vibe for her, and I curled the tail (feathers?) to make it look like her hair (although Akihiko is standing in front of most of them).
Akihiko Sanada: Pawmo. I needed electric type, and with his affinity for boxing and being fit, I figured an electric/fighting type would work well for him! Didn't want to do Pawmi because it wasn't yet fighting type (maybe he evolves sometime after The Fire) and didn't want to do Pawmot because no one else is evolved, so having him be max evolution would feel *weird*.
Shinjiro Arakgaki: Scraggy. A solely phys skill user HAS to be fighting type. There were several choices for him - Mankey was one, I believe - though something about Scraggy's appearance made me go with it.
Minato Arisato / Makoto Yuki: Castform (Sunny). I like to make the wild cards pokemon with several forms, or the ability to transform in some way. His 'base' form in Tartarus is Sunny, since Orpheus has fire attacks, but he shifts with whatever element he's using.
Yukari: Ducklett (Shiny). She was just going to be normal ducklett, but then I remembered the shiny was pink, and it makes her more 'special' and talk of the school, so I decided that's fine haha. Flying is the wind equivalent, here, so it was hard to Not make her some sort of bird. It works though, I think!
Junpei Iori: Charcadet. Needed a fire type, and charcadet seemed spunky enough to be him, out of the ones available. After Chidori [redacted], his personamon changes from an Armarouge-equivalent to a Ceruledge-equivalent.
Fuuka Yamagishi: Psy attacks don't exist in p3, though they do in p5, who I also already pokemoned, but Psychic still fits both psy attacks and navi abilities, so I'll let them overlap. She was able to avoid being killed in Tartarus for 10 hours, so she would have been using teleport to keep herself safe, as well as other psychic moves to detect where shadows lurked. Wanted a pokemon not usually known for attacking, to fit more with the navi role.
Aigis: Iron Valiant. Another phys-heavy user, so I wanted fighting type, and Iron Valiant happened to be just that. Looks like Gallade/Gardevoir (*is* Gallade/Gardevoir but in the future/ an alternate dimension?) but is also distinctly Robotic. Luckily most people pin the oddness about her as 'why is she fully evolved and in highschool' rather than 'hey, that's not a pokemon I know, what the hell'.
Koromaru: Houndour (Albino). There are not too many fire/dark pokemon, to go along with Koro's fire/curse attacks, and one of them just Happened to be a dog. I had to. I also made up an 'albino' coloration, based off of real albino dogs. If shiny, as a genetic mutation exists, then others can as well!
Ken Amada: Dedenne. Very similar to Koro, there are exactly two (2) pokemon that are electric/fairy, as I equate bless to fairy type, and one of those was a legendary. So Ken is Dedenne. It oddly works out, since he looks up to Akihiko, and they're both small, rodent pokemon (who happen to be their pkmn generation's equivalent of pikachu :P)
I have Many more thoughts on this crossover, if anyone wants to talk about it! I have a few more P3 characters planned out (Strega, pharos, ryoji, nyx avatar), P4's Investigation team, and P5's Phantom Thieves, though I need to actually Draw them all.

Heya! Name's Reuniclus! (Yes!!! That is my actual name!! I didn't change it to that or anything!!) I'm a psychic type specialist from Unova! Obviously not to be confused with a psychic person, though working with the pokemon I do has led me to meeting plenty of those!!
I work with the Landon Foundation, although this isn't an official account by any means, and all opinions expressed here are my own. I wanted to mention that since I'll probably talk about the pokemon I work with a lot, and I'm totally open to answering any questions people have as long as they're something I can answer.
Considering my name, appearance, and the info that I work with the Landon Foundation, you might recognize me if you've ever heard of the group, especially Blueberry Students since Cyrano's been inviting us to do talks there for years, and I'm usually one of the speakers for that. For those of you that have never heard of it, The Landon Foundation is a group based in Unova that's dedicated to helping more stigmatized pokemon by educating people on them, both funding and running our own shelters and rescues, as well as helping trainers find forever friends in these often looked down upon pokemon! It's named after our founder's rescue deino, Landon.

What's your opinion on certain merch that is limited only? Do you think there should be more instead of being limited only?
I have a negative view on limited merch runs because so often- okay, basically every single time- orders are overrun with scalpers who don't actually like the product or the series, they're just trying to make a profit off of fans.
A big recent example of this that blew up on social media was the Pokemon x Van Gogh Museum collab. They were giving out these adorable cards of Pikachu painted in the style of Van Gogh and were overrun with people who wanted the cards just to resell them. Oh, and they had some exclusive merchandise for sale; there are videos of people literally swarming the museum in an attempt to buy as much as they can, presumably to resell it. As of right now, you can see this exclusive merch up for sale for hundreds of dollars on sites like eBay and Mercari.
My feelings on scalpers and this situation in a nutshell:
Anyway, I think that limited/exclusive merch is a fucking industrial-grade magnet for scalpers and companies have shown time and time again that they're either unprepared for this or don't care. Because really, they're still selling out of these items, like they care if those items go to fans or if they go to scalpers.
So yeah, in general I'm really not a fan of artificial scarcity. As a collector myself, I'd rather more people have the chance to buy something and cherish it than for me to have bragging rights over getting a rare item.

Percy's probably the biggest people-pleaser ever, and it gets so severe that he unknowningly flirts with almost all of CHB. (Making Annabeth jealous, and then Percy would have to kiss her face whilst whispering "im yours" "im yours" to make her feel better. Because he's the best boyfriend)
I feel like Mythomagic is a big part of CHB. In the show, we see Grover teaching Percy about Monsters using these cards, and it's canon that both Nico and Frank used to play them. This leads me to being 96% sure that there's a Mythomagic trading club at CHB, (a bit like Pokemon Cards nowadays) and that Nico sometimes pops in to flex his limited edition cards. (when none of the older kids are looking, of course!)
^^ The youngsters make up rumours that Nico beats up people until they give him their special cards and thats why he has so many good ones
I feel like when Coach and Mellie go for dates, he'd entrust Percy and Annabeth to babysit Chuck. Mostly because they already babysit Estelle, and that Leo'd get too nervous; Hazel and Frank are not at CHB that often; Reyna has no experience on how to act with children, Nico's too dark and bloody (he'd probably scare Chuck with things like "did you know the bed monster is real?" or something like that.)
^^ Will, Piper and Jason are the other options.
I kinda forgot that we've known Will since BOTL. When Nico and Will come out dating, Percabeth are ecstatic because now they're thankful for Will in more than two ways.
Coach Hedge is that one teacher that hates PDA. He also patrols around the Cabins some nights, catching demigods whom have other plans... (he's worse than the harpies.) (he also seems to patrol around Cabin 3... I wonder why).

Yi City "Blindness"
something something ironically Xue Yang is the one who's blind to his own emotions and what he wants, Xiao Xingchen believing that they're just a happy little family is actually right and correct, while Xue Yang is the one who can't see his own happiness for what it is, etc etc
A Qing pretending to be blind while being the only one who can see Xue Yang for what he really is in the beginning, but also being unwilling to see how much he changed over the three years, and unwilling to see how much SHE learned to trust him over time because in hindsight she cannot handle acknowledging that anymore, so she's fake blind but was the only one with clear eyes but now she's blind for real. She "looks" blind but she's not, but then when people finally trust her perspective it's no longer as trustworthy
Song Lan having Xiao Xingchen's eyes but being unable to see the situation with clarity, while Xiao Xingchen actually (despite all odds) having the situation under control by the time Song Lan got there (the night hunts had stopped a WHILE ago, it was literally just domestic at that point with no signs of souring). Song Lan, sighted, being blinded by his emotions, his trauma, his past experiences of Xue Yang, his desire to protect Xiao Xingchen
Xue Yang deluding himself that he was somehow still motivated by anger, but no longer doing anything that even superficially implied anger
Xiao Xingchen, the only one who literally cannot see, made to feel like he was so wrong about everything, when he's the ONLY one who saw the potential, saw the dynamic, saw the present for what it was. And then being stripped of that clarity by being shown things that he'd been blind to in the past

I can't speak on Palworld as a game because I haven't played it, watched any footage of gameplay, or seen any trailers, but I can aggregate some commentary by gamedevs I've talked to along with some research I've done to confirm we're not all just making shit up.
Palworld is Pocket Pair Inc.'s second major release, and it's an Early Access game while their first game is still, also, in Early Access.
The banner from their other Early Access game, Craftopia, is this:
This doesn't bode well for Palworld's future. Note that it is February at time of the screenshot taken, and more distressingly a "bugfixing update" is worth celebrating 4 years into Craftopia's development.
They have two previous releases which are an AI-art-based social deduction game and a gacha card game. There's no nice way to say this, but the types of games in their portfolio bring to mind an amount of startup capital that makes the Early Access model unnecessary. In particular, there's no circumstance in which a game dev company simultaneously needs the early return of the EA model and also has the resources to split their studio off to make a second one. The reason they're using this model is as a metric of gauging interest to figure out how to divide their resources according to demand and to show to their investors that they're doing well.
Finally, they're working on another game at the same time as Palworld and Craftopia: Never Grave - a metroidvania roguelike with visuals similar to Hollow Knight and the capture mechanic of Super Mario Odyssey (complete with throwing your hat at enemies to possess them).
All of this paints a pretty clear, if cynical, picture of their business strategy. Pocket Pair is simply making other people's video games, but faster.
To be clear, I'm not accusing them of plagiarizing. I think Palworld is pretty distinct from Pokemon in fairly obvious ways, in the same way that Craftopia is distinct from Breath of the Wild. In addition, both games are borrowing game mechanics and ideas from more than one game each.
But at the same time, the vibe I get is less "taking inspiration from multiple sources" and more "seeing what is successful about multiple sources and combining them with the goal of making something appealing." Gamers like farming, so we added crops. Gamers like third person shooters, so we added that to Pokemon. There's no consideration for thematic cohesion or vision. I think the reason there was a controversy involving the suspected use of AI in Palworld is because there's an evident absence of artistic intent which mirrors the way AI generates images or text.
Pocket Pair Inc. is the cover band of game developers. And with Palworld they happen to have learned the crowd pleasers.
That's not to say there's no artistic value to Palworld, or even that the game isn't worth playing, or fun, or "good," whatever that means. Objectively speaking, making a game that appeals to so many people it breaks records is an accomplishment worth paying attention to, and quite frankly if that were me I'd be pretty proud of myself. But I can't help but think about that post about AAA games all being the same because studios are afraid to take risks without risking capital and then think, Palworld is a manifestation of the same problem.
