oh and, im not really hurt-hurted by them, i feel like mocha (mochablogger), liam (moonmxple) and mac (blairdrawzstuff) are most affected. They did have a book with my character in it but in a different universe or something (without my consent nor credit btw). Anyway under the cut is my observant. Honestly i think i might have jsut make the rant post for you lmao hrgbnhe 😭😭

the background/before:

mocha was working on a little story and xe said we could be in it! so obviously me and my friends signed up for the fun, not really expecting anything, the story was called "The Traumatized Cup", thats when we first meet him.

In one of the chapter mocha had introduced rubix, at first i didnt really think much about him, i was just aware of his presence, i do notice him and mocha started to become friends and i thought that was great :)

something that you should probably contact cuppy for more info:

so rubix (or according to rubix, "jasp" was roleplaying) and mocha were friends on facebook, and they roleplayed there i think, this i just know but apparently he said crap about liam (mocha's platonic partner and my best friend). Mocha is very sensitive and even in roleplay xe's still uncomfortable with what rubix said

"bezel's" divorce headcanon (and possible influence on further problems):

rubix said bezel forced him into making the 1st one, even if thats true, rubix said the divorce was bezel's headcanon but hes the one that decided to post the 3rd one ("okay i asked facemoji again..")

♇ when you link astrology to greek mythology, everything will make much more sense. especially with the characteristics of the signs and the behaviour, you'll find it synchronising with the greek gods and goddesses they're ruled by!

ARIES IN GREEK MYTHOLOGY

♂️ i think it is obvious who represents Aries in Greek Lore, and that being Ares the God of War. Ares Roman Counterpart is Mars and Mars being the ruler of Aries is how I made that link of Aries being ruled by Ares [and the obvious identical pronunciation the two share]

♂️ Ares is known for his rage, violent behaviour and his constant need for bloodshed; which Mars the planetary ruler of Aries is known for. Mars being perceived as a malefic planet and it sprouting out malicious behaviour.

♂️ the God of War was also known for his love affair with Aphrodite that was exposed by Hephaestus to the Gods. This could manifest into Aries being known for passion along with it being Ruled by Mars as it rules over strong libido and having a strong libido can cause problems. Like judgement and love affairs which are frowned upon.

♂️ aside from that and back to the obvious point of Aries, as Mars embodies war and war divides people. This could insinuate that Aries/Mars can bring a lot of disagreements wherever it resides in.

♂️ the Greek God Ares was also known for his vengefulness and this could link to those who have aries placements and their irrational behaviour.

♂️ where aries/mars is in your chart shows where you need constant bloodshed, violence or something that gets your adrenaline high. example given someone with aries in the fourth house might like to have a lot of drama going in their home to feel "alive", or people with mars in the fifth house might like to have people fight over them, or like to fight over others. also where aries/mars in your chart shows where there is the most division and disagreement.

♂️ for example, Aries being in the Fourth House could manifest into someone belonging to a family where there is much disagreements, and another example with Mars being in the Fifth House, there could be disagreements with how a certain someone expresses their talents.

TAURUS IN GREEK MYTHOLOGY

♀️ i dont think much people know that the person who represents Taurus in Greek Lore is Aphrodite the Goddess of Beauty. Her Roman Counterpart being Venus and Venus ruling over Taurus in Astrology.

♀️ Aphrodite being known as the Goddess of Beauty and Love, and Taurus being ruled by the planet of Love and Beauty. it is [sometimes] perceived that Aphrodite has asian origin, originally.

♀️ she is seen as the daughter of Zeus, and was created by the foam of Uranus' testicle after he was castrated by the Sky God, Zeus, [son of Kronos], and when she was born she rose from a shell, a shell could be identified as one of Taurus' symbols.

♀️ Aphrodite personifies charm, sensuality and the ideal of feminine beauty. which Venus is looked at as, the venus planet is sometimes looked at as the wife because Aphrodite was married off to Hephaestus, even when she had no interest in him. so Taurus could symbolise being made to do stuff you dont want to do. Aphrodite then went to have an affair with Ares [which birthed Eros known as cupid].

♀️ the story of Aphrodite and Ares along with them being caught my Hephaestus shows that Taurus people can be disloyal but they'll be caught in the end. though Hephaestus wanted Aphrodite along with Ares to be punished but got made fun of by the other Gods; which insinuates that Taurus placements can get away with things.

♀️ the story of Aphrodite and Adonis could symbolise the unfortunate love Taurus placements have as Adonis was killed during a hunting session.

♀️ Hera was a rival of Aphrodite, [Hera = Juno and Juno rules over Libra] which could show why much Taurus and Libras dont get along that much. Hera didnt like Aphrodite because she was elected as the most beautiful against Athena and Hera, due to the Trojan Shepherd, Paris.

♀️ the apple fruit also symbolises Aphrodite/Venus/Taurus. specifically the Golden apple. in movies we see apple being used in Snow White. as Aphrodite is a vain goddess, she symbolises the mirror which symbolises the female sex. [Mars'/Ares' shield represents the male sex].

♀️ wherever Taurus/Venus is in your chart shows where you are most beautiful at, or the most beautiful thing you produce along with the things you get away with. for example, having Taurus in the fifth house could imply you can produce beautiful kids or creative outlets along with getting away with having many love interests. and having Venus in the 3rd house could indicate you might have very beautiful hand writing and you could get away with stealing.

GEMINI IN GREEK MYTHOLOGY

☿️ the God that represents Gemini is Hermes, who is known as the messenger of Gods. known as the God with the wing sandals. and could go anywhere that included the ocean and the underworld; which signifies the adaptability of the Gemini sign.

☿️ Hermes is the son of Zeus and Maia and when Hermes was a child, he ventured the World. which could insinuate those with Gemini placements were able to do stuff quicker than those around them when they were young. when Hermes could barely walk he stole Apollo's Ox farm and when Apollo found out that it was baby Hermes that stole his Ox farm they became best friends, specifically as Hermes grew up.

☿️ it was Hermes that gave Apollo the Lyre and Apollo gave Hermes the caduceus which is perceived to be used for medicine, trading, liars, thieves, eloquence, negotiation, alchemy and vision. with the caduceus, Hermes guided the dead to the underworld, [specifically Hades], and due to this, Hermes became a main God. this could imply that Gemini\3H placements could find it easy to speak with the dead, or with spirits etc. [along with Mercury dominants].

☿️ Hermes guided many people in Greek/Roman stories, like Perseus on his mission to murder Medusa and guided Demeter to Persephone. there are many statues of Hermes; which could signify that people with many Gemini placements could be worshiped and admired a lot.

☿️ Hermes also fought giants, rescued Ares and once freed Zeus which caused him to become one of Zeus' favourite children, alongside with Athena. Also had a child with Aphrodite; Hermes is known to be double natured, as he symbolised the body of the feminine and the masculine along with the characteristics. could indicate that those with Gemini/3h placements could be the favourite child most of the time.

☾ Selene is the Titan Goddess of the Moon, and has two siblings, Helios and Eos. is the child of Theia and Hyperion. Selene has the power give sleep, light and the night. she also has control over time and like the Moon itself, Selene is ever-changing. suggests the reason why many people think those with Cancer placements are fake.

☾ she fell in love with a mortal shepherd, Endymion and bore his fifty daughters. implies of the fertile nature of Moon dominant people or Cancer dominant people. Selene visited Endymion a lot during the night and fell in love with the human shepherd so much that she couldnt bear the thought of Endymion dying. so without his consent, she put him in an eternal sleep which caused him to remain young. this could imply that Cancer/Moon dominant people are selfish, but majority of the times, their motives aren't bad.

☾ the woman is known to not have her own temple, as she is seen everywhere as being the Moon.

☾ where cancer/moon is in your chart shows where you could be the most selfish at. along with showing you what thing you could produce countless of times [as Selene is known to be someone who could bear a lot of children; for example, having cancer in the eighth house shows that someone could be the most selfish when it comes to finances or secrets. or they can produce a lot of money and could even have physical pleasure a lot. on the other hand, if someone had moon in the eleventh, indicates that they are selfish when it comes to their friends, could not want to share their friends with other people, on the other hand, could have a lot of friends!

☿️ was once chased by Poseidon who wanted to be with her, Demeter then turned herself into a mare to get away from him which caused him to turn himself in a stallion and took possession over the Goddess which created the infamous black horse Arion along with Dysphonia the Goddess of Winter.

☿️ the infamous descendant of Demeter being Persephone, the daughter of her and Zeus and is Demeter's favourite daughter. who then is abducted by Hades which caused Demeter to wander the world searching for her daughter which has then caused her to neglect her task of a Goddess.

☿️ where virgo, ceres and asteroid demeter is [1108] shows what you will neglect when searching for what is yours. could also indicate what kind of people will stop at nothing to get you, and the things you make that can give you abundance.

☿️ example given, having virgo/demeter in the ninth house could imply that you could neglect your studies, or even your morals when it comes to getting what you want. or if your ceres is in the seventh house you could neglect your bond or people you have connections with.

☿️ on one hand, having virgo/demeter in your ninth house could show that a lot of teachers, or people who are supposed to guide you might've harassed you a lot. even foreign people, the law or your in-laws. if you had ceres in your seventh house, even your partners could've harassed you a lot, the general public, open-enemies and so on.

Chapter 2 - Me to a Stranger

Summary: 20 years since the RDA was pushed off of the moon of Pandora, they are back once more. The RDA thinks their only problem is the traitor Jake Sully and his family, but as it turns out, Jake wasn’t the only ‘problem’ left behind 20 years ago. Anthe was a child soldier, stolen from their home and forced to learn the ways of the humans, erasing any of their connections to the Na’vi from before. Finally free from the RDA’s hold after being trapped in cryosleep, and they're about to make themselves everyone's problem.

It had been about a week since the raid, and Neteyam still could not get the thought of that stranger out of his head. The image of them disappearing into the trees, golden eyes burning, seemed burned into his mind, coming back to haunt him anytime it got too quiet. Mo’at had meditated on the incident, but Eywa had given her no clear answers, and thus Neteyam was left to wait and hope he would see the stranger again. Worse still, his siblings had caught on and started to tease him about it, how he was so caught up in a person he had never even met. Lo’ak was the worst, constantly poking him about his ‘special someone’, even going so far as to make jokes that Neteyam had already chosen his future mate. Neteyam brushed off the comments with great annoyance and no small amount of embarrassment. He didn’t know how he felt, or why the stranger plagued him so. He tried seeking answers at the Spirit Tree, asking Eywa for some kind of answer, and ended up leaving feeling just as frustrated as when he arrived. He took instead to looking for a distraction, something to keep his mind from wandering back in circles where it had seemed stuck for the last week.

Hunting came to Neteyam as naturally as breathing, a skill he had honed to a perfect edge. He stalked silently through the forest, looking for any signs of prey worthy of a good hunt. The forest around him was quiet and calm, the syaksyuk chittering in the branches high above Neteyams head. The warrior's ears swiveled forward, catching the sound of something further up ahead. He dropped to a crouch, bow drawn as he silently crawled ahead. Before him lay a small clearing, one he knew yerik would often frequent for the small pond at its center, but there were no yerik that he could see. There was another sound, branches cracking, as something pushed its way into the clearing. Neteyam heard it groan as he pressed closer to the tree line, trying to get a better look.

It was a person, quickly collapsing to their knees at the edge of their pond. They were Na’vi in shape, but wore the torn and tattered garments of the sky people. The stranger huffed tiredly, shoving their backpack and massive gun off of their shoulders and onto the ground besides them. Their hair hung limp and unkept around their face, obscuring their features. Neteyam watched, frozen, as the stranger hastily shoveled water into their mouth and across their face. He watched as they paused, smoothing their hair back with three-fingered hands before pulling a canteen from their bag and filling it. Neteyam could properly see them now, how tired and thin they looked. Their clothes were stained and dirty, torn full of holes. He saw the faint lines of old scars along their bare arms, surrounded by glittering tahní. He noted the delicate touch to their features, marred only by a slight hollowness to their cheeks and dark bags under their eyes. The same eyes that had haunted him for the last week. Eywa had heard his prayers, Neteyam would have his answers.

Neteyam lowered his bow, before pulling himself up to stand, eyes never leaving the figure at the pond. The stranger stiffened at the movement, their eyes locking on him, wide and bewildered as Neteyam made himself known. They did not move as the warrior stepped into the clearing, their expression quickly training itself into something hard and unreadable.

“{Hello.}” Neteyam started, holding the stranger's gaze as he made the Na’vi gesture for ‘I see you’ towards them. They did not speak or return the gesture, only watching as they very slowly gathered their belongings back onto their shoulders.

“{You were at the raid.}” Neteyam tried again, “{You gave us warning.}” Still, the stranger remained silent. Neteyam wondered if perhaps they did not speak Na’vi, given their choice of clothes and weapon. The stranger rose to stand slowly, golden eyes never leaving him.

“Do you speak english?” Neteyam spoke again, the foreign language feeling strange on his tongue. He never liked speaking the sky peoples tongue, it felt clunky on his lips, but learning it had been a necessity for communication with the sky people at Hell Gate. The English seemed to surprise the stranger, their naked brow furrowing slightly at the sound. They seemed to regard Neteyam for a moment, then huffed a breath and nodded. Progress. Feeling emboldened, Neteyam took another step forward, only for the stranger to take several steps back, hand darting to a large knife on their belt and hissing defensively. Their tail thrashed anxiously behind them. Neteyam held up his arms placatingly, trying to show he meant no harm, making a show of putting his bow down slowly. But he made the mistake of looking away from them. It was barely a second but the stranger was already running, taking off through the trees and away from Neteyam. The warrior cursed, quickly slinging his bow over a shoulder as he began to give chase.

The stranger was faster than Neteyam would have expected for someone both clearly exhausted and so heavily encumbered, still not so fast that he wouldn’t catch up with relative ease. They darted through the forest like a panicked yerik, crashing over roots and low hanging branches in their scramble to escape him. It was loud and messy, but they still managed to keep just far enough ahead that Neteyam could not reach them.

“Wait!” The warrior tried to call after them, but he went ignored, the strangers sprint hardly letting up as they hastily ducked another branch. Neteyan ran harder, reaching out to try and grab hold of their arm when they suddenly stopped. Neteyam crashed into them, sending the pair sprawling into the dirt in a tangle of limbs. The stranger began to scramble beneath him, shuffling backwards, but Neteyam grabbed them, hauling them both upright from the dirt as the stranger struggled in his hold.

“I said, wait.” Neteyam huffed, feeling exasperated as the stranger twisted in his grip. Again they surprised him with their strength despite their less than stellar state, as he held tighter to keep them in place.

“Fuck- Ah! Let go!” The stranger yelped, seeming increasingly distressed, but they weren’t looking at Neteyam, they were looking past him, at something behind him. Neteyam scowled, turning his head to follow their gaze. Above them, perched the hulking form of a Palulukan, slowly stalking towards them, its four pupils shrinking to slits as it released a low growl.

“Oh shit. Run!” Neteyam scrambled to haul them both to their feet, dragging them to a sprint back the way they had come. The Palulukan sprang after them, crashing through the trees with a roar. Neteyams path was quick but calculated, attempting to avoid the snagging roots and branches, pulling the stranger by their bicep to keep them with him. He needed to get them both up and out of there, beelining for where he had left his Ikran to wait for him during his abandoned hunt. The Palulukan tore after them, hot on their heels as the Na’vi ran. The stranger was breathing heavily at Neteyam’s side, they made no move to remove themselves from his grip, running with him to the best of their ability.

The Palulukan roared again and Neteyam was suddenly shoved to the ground hard, the heavy weight of the stranger landing painfully on top of him. The predator crashed through the trees in front of them, struggling to stop its momentum. The pair rolled, the stranger pulling Neteyam up with a pained grunt as they took off once more.

“This way!” Neteyam panted, pulling himself up onto a low tree trunk. The stranger followed, and Neteyam noticed their massive gun and backpack were gone, lost somewhere in the chase. He led them quickly up into the trees, towards his waiting Ikran, his head on a swivel trying to track the Palulukan still hunting them. Neteyam whistled for his mount, calling the creature down from the tree tops, and quickly pulling himself and companion onto its back. The stranger let him pull them against his front as Neteyam connected with his Ikran, quickly taking off just as the enormous Palulukan bounded onto the branch where they had just been. Neteyam ascended quickly, breaking the treeline above faster than what might have been considered safe, but the adrenaline was pumping too hard in his veins to worry about that now.

“Fuck-” Neteyam heard the stranger gasp, their hands frying to grip where his arm held them around the waist for dear life. Their back was pressed hard to his chest, enough that he could feel the erratic beating of their heart. Sweat trickled down their neck, sticking stray dark hairs to their blue skin. They looked around, wild eyed as Neteyam evened out his flying. He tried pulling away slightly, but they only gripped him harder.

“The danger is gone.” Neteyam tried to reassure them. This is not how he had envisioned finding the stranger again, but he could admit, he was not displeased.

“Put me down.” They spoke finally, voice sounding shaky.

“I will take you somewhere safe. We can talk-”

“No.” They interrupted. “Put me down. Now. My gear is back there, I need it.”

“Back- Are you insane? There is a Palulukan back there! We barely made it out!” Neteyam guffawed in disbelief.

“I need- fuck- I need my gear!” The stranger insisted, now sounding pained. Neteyam scowled at them. Then he saw it, or rather felt it. A growing wetness across his right side, trickling down his arm where he held them as well as his front. He pulled away, making the stranger wince, and grimacing as he saw the cause. A large gash stretched across their shoulder blade and bicep, bleeding profusely. The Palulukan had managed a swipe at them, most likely in that last fall. Quickly, Neteyam pressed himself back into them in an attempt to to lessen the bleeding.

“You are injured. You need a Tsahik.”

“I’m fine-”

“You are not fine! I am taking you to the Tsahik. Do not argue.” It was his turn to interrupt, pulling the stranger more closely to him as he turned his Ikran to the direction of High Camp. They seemed to deflate, groaning but not fighting him anymore, seeming to settle. Neteyam decided to send word ahead with his throat com,

“{Devil Dog, Eagle Eye, this is Pathfinder, do you read me?}”

For a moment there was nothing, then, the crackle of static as someone answered.

“{Pathfinder this is Devil Dog, I read you.}” Neteyam’s fathers voice spoke, crackling in his earpiece.

“{Sir, I’m headed back to camp. There was a Palulukan, I have an injured Na’vi with me in need of immediate medical attention.}”

“{Are you injured?}” The Olo’eyktan asked, sounding concerned.

“{No, Sir. Just the person with me.}” Neteyam reassured him. He glanced down, checking on his passenger. The stranger was still, breathing ragged as their head drooped to one side as they struggled to stay conscious.

“{But they’re not doing well. They’ve lost a lot of blood.}”

“{Alright, I’ll let the healers tent know you’re coming.}”

“{Understood.}” Neteyam let the com line go silent, mentally urging his Ikran to fly faster.

“You use military call signs��” A soft voice murmured below him, sounding labored and raspy.

“We do.” Neteyam agreed, not sure how to respond to the observation. The call signs they used were in English, something taught to Omatikayan warriors by his father for communication during the raids. Neteyam was Pathfinder, Lo’ak Eagle Eye, and their father was Devil Dog. The stranger remained quiet, not elaborating on their thoughts further.

“We are almost there.” The warrior soothed. He could feel their blood dripping down their back and over his right thigh. The stranger did not respond as they rounded one of the many floating islands of the Hallelujah Mountains towards High Camp. Neteyam shook them lightly, trying to rouse a response, but got nothing. Only the sounds of shallow breaths. They were still alive, just barely.

The Tortured Poets Department predictions:

Genre: alternative pop/rock (wcs, i can see you, evermore (album) vibes more than folky folklore or poppy midnights)

I think this will be an album centered on the breakdown and eventual breakup of a relationship. It will mirror red in a sense but be a lot more mature. I dont think this album will update us much on her more recent life and emotions. An album that explores all the different emotions and experiences from ending a very important relationship.

My prediction on the tracks (specifically the predictions that seem to differ to the ones Ive seen online so far). I havent included predictions that we all collectively seem to agree on :

Down Bad - self-reflective song that looks at the overall relationship and the ending too - she was so in love she ignored signs they weren't quite right for eachother or the relationship was no longer beneficial for either of them. She's down bad so she became down, bad. Written possibly pre-breakup.

So Long London - outlining how she created this life for herself in a "foreign country" and how it feels to let it go and let the part of herself go that wanted this life so much. Im expecting something like All Too Well - zooming in on specific memories and linking them together. A very very deeply hurt song that will be a stream of conciousness.

Fresh Out The Slammer - going through how it felt to be out in the world single again and how terrifying that must have felt, how she dreaded it and how she was carrying this weight of the heartbreak she ought to have felt around with her but to find she was ok. She was more than ok. Like each step she takes she sheds more and more of the person she was the last few years and peels back the layers and sheds that weight. By the end of the song she no longer feels hopeless.

Florida!!! - i think this is gonna slap, its gonna be an intense song about just being revitalised post-breakup, realising your self-worth, maybe even being angry at yourself that you took this long to get to this stage and this decision. And to top it off, you have this realisation in Florida of all places. I am maybe expecting a sound like Daffodil by Florence since she is a feature

Guilty as Sin? - I think on the heels of exploring her past, her relationships, how they ended in the last album but also through all the re-recordings, this song may be an exploration of "am I the problem?" There may even be callbacks and references to past songs that point to specific relationships/time

I Can Do It With A Broken Heart - the bejeweled of the album. Her realisation that she just is THAT good, she can even perform the love songs with her whole chest while heartbroken. Its ballsy, its gutsy and its empowering.

The Smallest Man Who Ever Lived - a very meloncholy and vulnerable track with parallels to peace (your integrity makes me feel small) - she feels like the smallest person in the world she is nothing without this love. And then by the end of the song she realises that she is more than just her relationship and finds her voice. Also written possibly pre-breakup.

jimbo and ned headcanon dump

Ned:

Ned is partially blind, mostly in his right eye. their eyes are pretty sensitive to light aswell which is why they wear sunglasses.

on the topic of his eyes tho, theyre pale green. they were alot more vividly green when he was younger.

Jimbo helps him tie his headband on every morning

bro he can go weeks without showering without any complaints.

he eats raw meat sometimes and it concerns alot of his friends.

his only living biological relative is his sister, however hes found his own family now, and jimbo is that family, that and the marshes. while he doesnt see them that much, he still considers stan his own nephew just as much as jimbo does, even if he doesnt say that outloud.

hes pretty good at climbing despite his lack of a particular limb.

Jimbo:

im still thinking about his eye color but im thinking of him either having dark brown eyes or possibly some form of heterochromia for the fun of it.

ned refuses to let him use the oven unsupervised yet due to him almost burning down the kitchen on several occasions (and i say yet because hes still trying to teach him how to Not set the house on fire)

hes great at sewing, hes made some diy taxidermy and clothes from animal pelts.

stan showed him pictures of fursuiters once. hes still in shock.

he unironically enjoys eating bugs.

when he was around stans age he would bite people who pissed him off. still has the urge to do it sometimes.

has a bit of a problem with placing bets on things like sports too often so he sets a particular limit for himself on how much he can bet at a time.

Jimbo and Ned:

1. They designed and built their house together from the ground up and had to acquire a couple skills along the way from it, mostly via hurting themselves multiple times and learning to not do the things that caused that again and also getting advice from people who actually knew how to build things.

2. they arent legally married, and still werent after it was legalized. mostly due to not wanting to lose sales at their shop, ratings on their show, and lose a couple friends. but also because they dont see the point in signing a bunch of dumb paperwork to make them legally linked together.

3. they had a small, at home wedding, nothing big or fancy. they didnt want anything fancy to begin with though so it worked just fine for them. just a small ceremony with randy and sharon and a set of rings was all they actually needed and wanted. (stan and shelly were around 2 and 6 at the time, left them at home with a babysitter.)

4. yk the girls from the craig x tweek episode right. one of them carved jimbo and neds initials into a big tree stump and jimbo and ned were only notified of it because stan accidentally let it slip infront of them. (stan thought of jimbo and ned as being too macho to be gay so he didnt think too hard on it, but still does from time to time)

5. jimbos the more physically affectionate of the two while ned is more words-of-affirmation oriented. they learned this overtime and work with eachothers love languages.

6. ever since what happened with MBP, jimbo has been more cautious with ned. making sure he doesnt get hurt. ned appreciates this but sometimes jimbo goes a little overboard on it and ned has to reassure him that hes fine. but sometimes ned doesnt believe that himself.

7. theyve been almost caught and even directly caught being affectionate with one another on multiple occasions, but most didnt even notice or consider it anything other than platonic. and those who did (skeeter, but also sharon, randy, and shelly but those three dont count) have kept their mouths shut about it. theyre thankful and also shocked everyday that almost noones found them out after over 30 years.

8. they dont know if its "time" to tell stan and shelly about their relationship. they think shellys ready and plan to tell her eventually, stan on the other hand theyre waiting a couple years to tell. him and marvin are the only ones who dont know. not telling marvin tho hes just gonna have a heart attack right on the spot and die

another quastion. how does zelda feel about the castle. pre and post calamity. have people gone into the castle after the calamity and could she sense them/how does her telepathy work/what can she see if anything

HM!!!

ok so. this had me rethink a Lot about my zelda because. trying to tie her into the story and/or give her thematically relevant motives/problems is Specifically Hard with the theme i chose (if you can even call it a theme). and also i had to go over what she would actually think in her situation and it. not really tying into how she thought of it beforehand. im still going over it honestly and canon botw makes this so much harder why did they Do That…. this especially complicates her father and hers relationship at least from normal fandom standards but at the very least i can deal with that

castle time ok!!! pre cal its mostly just her house. one that has stupid rules sometimes but otherwise shes doing pretty great!!! the sheikah tech are extremely abundant near the castle, both seen in the memories (including the champions dlc memory) but also makes sense given where the sheikah tech was buried to begin with. her relationship with her father gets. More Strained as time goes on. to be clear he does care for her and the whole reason he bans her from the tech in a memory is so she can prove to everyone how she isnt a failure. the problem with that though is that he prohibits her only real solution to her powers, the one tangible thing that Can stop the calamity. id also feel like at he end of conversations he would ask about her training which could lead to arguments. shes still able to infodump things to him (only really more towards the beginning though), which he takes more to heart once hes dead. and he kind of has to unban her from the sheikah tech at one point, nearing the calamitys arrival. it leads to a Hell of an argument from both of them because he Wants to keep her banned or grounded more than ever before, but well. circumstances have changed. but back on topic castle wise everythings chill. most of the knights or soldiers cant go into the castle having like. 2 rooms where they are allowed, and the guards are just like maids and such to her. theyre there and they dont intrude Too Much. gestures to the post she doesnt want to Not be a princess she doesnt want to be a Failure of a princess, and the castle doesnt really remind her much of that. her room might..? but theres no signs to that when you go into it when its broken and such. there isnt even a goddess statue in there. so. yeah! i may add that? BUT ANYWAYS.

post cal!!! mixed feelings. on one hand? Anger. anger that the calamity revived There, angry that it came early when she was so close, angry that the payoff she hoped for never came and she had to do all of that only for the castle to get destroyed and 100 years to pass and her friends to die. she doesnt think she did it for nothing, but shes Close to thinking that just by proxy of how events happened. she needs to go in there eventually to retrieve Her Stuff (plushies, printed photos that werent taken by purah, diagrams, books etc) and it just. messes a bit with her how everything is destroyed and how the grass and trees are all dead from malice and guardians. if she rebuilt the monarchy she’d likely leave the old castle in ruins, building another one in a different location, leaving the old one as a monument of sorts to What Happened. she wouldnt view everything as her or links failure she’d just view it as a stupid stupid moment that didnt have to happen but did anyways. especially because she Has Her Powers Now. she got to the springs she has her powers shes a Princess. she didnt fail at what she was supposed to do, its just her monarchy is a failure rather than her if that makes sense??????????? she has no place to Be a princess after she spent so long trying to be one. an ending that wasnt worth it. so the castle is generally unpleasant to be around. shes upset about everything being destroyed but also pretty mad about it. she keeps it there more to hurt herself than anything else. she thinks its a reminder and in part it is its just not a useful reminder of any kind . not to say the monarchy was good mind you just the circumstances in which it got destroyed, Especially For Her, werent great!

people have gone into the castle after the calamity!! or at least before link wakes up but during when zelda is still fending ganon off. that mostly aligns with canon surprisingly as npcs can tell you how they Used to be able to get into the castle for gear but now theres monsters all over the place. i think that ganons malice was still there and the cocoon was also still there he just was less actively fending off the castle because there was no need. priorities 🔥🔥🔥. i..! think she could sense them, but not really realize it was them for lack of a better word. like she knew someone was in the castle but she either was A not able to focus on it too much or at all or B could focus on it but had no idea What It Was. like it couldve just been a feeling when someone was in the castle but she’d have no idea thats what that feeling came from if that makes sense. once link wakes up shes able to focus on other things more outwardly but still focuses more on ganon. her telepathy i think works based on ganon and sheikah tech alerts :] like for example theres apparently a control unit for the towers underneath the castle. if ganon was using that accidentally then zelda would also have a tie to that just by proxy of being eaten by him. its like. she could visually see or audibly hear something change, and that goes for when the divine beasts yell when you come near them and she warns you of them if you havent talked to impa or when ganon yells when you come to the castle. she was able to wake you up to do the shrine of resurrection letting out an alert of some kind. how it works or even if its connected to the castle at all i dont know though. maybe a hivemind or a message system like the divine beasts? where the shr actually the shrine of resurrection Is Technically a divine beast so it could absolutely have a messaging/alert system. how it gets to the castle i have no idea. either the castle is also a divine beast or theres a main control unit under there. or the alerts from the SoR get broadcasted across the main tech that needs it, though i dont know why theyd do that… but the tower is more straightforward thats connected to the castle. the five minutes after playing she just has no idea what links doing and tells him to head there out of necessity . the divine beasts yells are just Loud and more loud to her specifically because ganon has a hand in that. ganon yelling is self explanatory. how shes able to talk to link telepathically to begin with ? no clue. it probably has something to do with whatever her powers are or how zeldas of the past were able to use telepathy, but its more likely just a result of her powers. i think she more or less found out via ganon though. either he can also do that or she just. kind of Had To after being eaten.

for what she sees….! thats tough. i saw a comic once that had zelda be able to see through hylia statues, which is cool however thats kind of bogging her down to being hylia 2.0 which. she isnt. and also considering her Issues with hylia i almost feels mean. she Could be able to see through the divine beasts possibly ? whether im doing that is up for debate though. Though it could make for some accidental horror? like having a divine beast constantly Facing Your Direction no matter how far away you are, or when its moving in a circle it suddenly just doesnt turn and either stands and stares at you or goes towards your direction. horrifying and i dont think zelda would be able to do that (more looking through them rather than controlling them) but i like divine beast horror. anyways considering the divine beasts have consciousness? i dont know if she’d be able to. do that. like hijack it just to see whats happening

inside ganon she can actually see things.! not from the outside mind you but its not just pitch black. whether its a different world, pure malice, just sheikah tech, is up to debate. or up to how i design it honestly i need to figure . that out. but yeag. i shall draw it once i have an idea of it

also please note how she feels about the castle is . Subject To Change. i feel like a conspiracy theorist trying to make her work here. but for now!!!!! yeah!!!!!! im going to try to expand her when i expand the champions. or when i decide how the relationships are going to work and what works better . 👍

Second. I get getting stuck with the idea that "am I really going to end these friendships because we like different things?" But that doesn't really seem to be the problem?

The problem is not that you like something they dont, the problem is that you have to hide yourself around them. You're not thinking about ending a friendship over them not liking the Dteam, you're doing it because you're constantly scared that you'll "slip up" and they'll turn on you because of that.

But I saw in another ask that some of these friendships are years old (and once again I wish I could reach through the screen and hug you) and like... is there a chance that if you approached those people individually and talked about it they wouldn't listen? Talking about how you don't want to lose them but you can't keep being friends if you're scared of them?

Idk idk. A thousand hugs and kisses to you, everyone is kinda in your business about all of this (sorry, if you want tell us to back off) but we all genuinely don't want to see you hurt even if (I'm guessing) most people sending asks don't know you that well

i love polyamory 🗣‼ life changing for real like. IDK i think a lot of my disconnect to things directly comes from autism so to ik to a lot of people they CANNOT imagine such a thing but its pretty easy for me? like its just a bigger relationship its great, i work better in groups anyways thats why like all of my self inserts are inserted into polyam relationships. if its not virginia and kelvin, its link and sidon, papyrus and mettaton LIKE. SHIT LIKE THAT its just second nature for me.

i guess that disconnect honestly. i STILL really have no idea if im actually aromantic or not. like i do a lot of yearning but am i REALLY yearning? i cant read myself so i have no idea like genuinely it is a FULL mystery who knows!!!! i think maybe like. okay it falls on bpd and how that affected my relationships, when i think back to it i can tell everyone ive ever been in relationship with, they were my FP so maybe i did love them? but i know i was also obsessed like.... listen looking back on younger me clueless to what bpd even was, having a mental breakdown in middleschool cuz yr online girlfriend made matching icons with HER AND HER FRIENDS FURSONAS..... like genuinely i was SO CRUSHED i thought it was over and done and i was like what about all that we had!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

SO DRAMATIC OKAY... i dont blame younger me cuz he couldnt have known but like... the signs have always been there KSFS im a lot more. managed now, at least i try my best to be and from what i can tell in my 'recent' relationship adventures, one of them i was ONLY obsessed with for a little while cuz he gave me attention even tho he sucked a little and then the obsession like.. faded. it was over and i said goodbye and that was that (which. IK IT SOUNDS AWFUL but it was one of those sexual interest things and outside of that attention, he was very manipulative and honestly a little rude so. i did the right thing idk why i keep losing the relationship lottery)

i guess i just get nervous about that happening again, but like. im slowly realizing i can be obsessed with someone yes, but i can also love them. i think i spent a while there like.. discrediting any of the love i felt for anyone because it was accompanied with obsession, but thats not true!! i did love them, i loved her and i loved him and it all like. idk its a lie, ive been lying to myself and saying im only capable of brutal obsession when its not true, i can love too. i love all the time!!!!! i love my pets i love my friends like. im a lover!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! this is honestly the first time im really realizing that tbh but. its the truth even if theres a lot of bitterness and anger and pain inside of me, there is also love

i think my problem is i just dont understand romantic relationship? like on an autism level cuz to me like. whats the difference between a partner and a friend? LIKE GENUINELY cuz im about as affectionate with a friend as how i should be with a partner SO WHERES THE LINE? to me there just is no line like idk i really cant see it! i think if yr dating someone, they SHOULD be yr friend because what................. like how could you get with someone whos not yr friend already yknow what i mean where did you find that guy!!!! and where has he BEEEN put him back bro.....

and even then i think i hear a lot of people describe their relationships as like 'dating their best friend' yes im sure but that just makes it murkier like. i think that romance isnt real guys i think its made up and its just a word, theres this like. this elevation of romantic love in comparison to platonic love and i do not understand why because its the same thing for me? i love my friends just as hard as id love a partner because thats what they DESERVE, so like idk i think in my head i dont see it either way its just love? the lines are too blurry for me to process so i just disregard them completely, somethin like that.

“Of course. Of course. We don’t want the good people of New York thinking you are a negligent father,” Max nods seriously and then side-eyes Magnus. “But then again, next to this one, you look like the father of the year.

He sees Rafael’s bike parked outside.

No. No.

Magnus runs inside.

“That’s right!” he hears Max yell after him. “Run to your precious golden boy!”

“You don’t get to fucking tell me what to do,” Max shakes his head. “You are not my father.”

“Max. Please,” Rafael says softly. “You don’t want bapak to get hurt again, right? Please. Please. Stop. Bapak doesn’t deserve this. I know it hurts. But stop. Please.”

“You sure you’re straight, Rafe?” Max snorts. “You’re sucking his dick pretty hard right now.”

“Max!” Alec yells. “Stop it. Magnus has-”

"The two of you are fucking pathetic," Max snorts. "Magnus this. Bapak that. Have some fucking self-esteem."

Rafael moves forward. But Alec pulls him back by the arm.

"Don't," Alec tells their oldest and then looks at Max. "One more word out of you and-"

"And what?" Max crosses his arms.

"Max," Magnus intervenes. "If you are mad at me, just be mad at me. Don't take it out on Alec and Rafael."

"You can't help it, can you?" Max asks with a grin. "You always have to tell people what to do. Because you think you're better than the rest of you. Guess what, bapak? You are the weak link in this family."

“That’s what I thought,” Max laughs out loud. “Leave. That’s all you know. Leave. You fucking coward.”

“And what you did today?” Magnus shakes his head. “I’ve never been disappointed in you.”

He thinks of the billboard again.

His face.

The words ‘Go Kill Yourself’ written across his eyes.

Magnus swallows.

“Do you have no idea what could have happened if the wrong person had seen the message at the wrong time?” Magnus asks hoarsely. “Do you have no idea how much it hurt me to see my son act like this?”

“Yeah. Maybe it’s just you,” Max chuckles. “Maybe it’s a good thing. Because now dad can be with someone who actually fucking loves him.”

Rafael slips into the couch and buries his face in his hands.

Okay. I'm done. I've been with Rafe since the first time I read this fic. Max is very selfish.

And I really tried (both times I read this fic), but I just can't take it anymore. I tried to ignore all your horrible and unfortunate comments in both timelines but I have again reached my limit in the same chapter in which I reached my limit last time.

Reminds me of my little brother. They live in their own world and with their own pain. And people have to be able to live through their pain and that is their right, but that doesn't mean they have the right to everything. He closes himself in his pain and doesn't care how bad others have it. You could be suffering and not make it harder for others.

I really try to be understanding with Max but he pokes and pokes and pokes until he makes you explode. What he does is not right. And they spoil him for it, and so he will never learn

It reminds me of that scene with Tessa and Jem where they are talking about Will and she wonders what good they are doing to Will if they always forgive him for everything he says or does.

I'm glad that Magnus was able to set his limit to stop Max from continuing to advance, because we don't know if he would have stopped. Sometimes children also behave toxically towards their parents.

I don't think Max is the devil por being selfish, i want to be clear. I don't hate him, i dont have 15 years old. I understand this is complicated. But we have to admit that he has a selfishness problem that he must learn to deal with. That doesn’t make him a bad person, but hus selfishness makes him doing bad things and he should know where is the line, not waiting to others to draw it

And Magnus was absolutely right to make him think about what would have happened if someone read that sign at the wrong time. How he doesn't think about how things affect others. How Max doesn't think. It's a horrible thing to say, regardless of whether he went against his bapak. Someone else could have read it, and seen it as a sign

Also, poor Rafael. I get it so much, the more Max talked, the more Rafe became afraid that Max would end up triggering Magnus. And as a person who ends up imagining the worst in stressful situations, I know what must have been going through Rafe's head at that moment

I think it's spot on and this was the whole point.

This was Max's struggle in tlnd. His arc, if you will. Everyone had their own kind of 'toxic' habit to overcome whether it was Magnus letting people walk all over him and keep sacrificing himself for love, whether it was Alec's stubbornness to fix things and just keep trying even if it makes things worse, Rafael's inability to set boundaries and Max's selfishness.

The story wouldn't work, let's say, if Max had Arthur's personality. He had to be who he is for the story to move. But I had to be careful because this version of Max can't only exist in tlnd. So, you do see this reckleness and selfishness in other fics, but manifesting in different ways and impacting him and others around him in different ways.

It's very hard to read, especially if you relate to Rafael a lot, but it was incredible to write :)

i had no idea 'nonverbal' was created by people who couldn't speak! i struggle with selective mutism and have been using nonverbal as a word to describe when i was unable to speak for so long. ill switch the language i use to avoid describing my episodes as nonverbal! thank you for linking the post of the person talking about it. i realize now this could kind of come across as like. sarcastic? but its not. genuinely, thank you. i had no idea also ive been learning ASL, too! i dont have money for classes but ive been picking up on stuff by watching people and looking up specific words and its helped a lot with communicating when i cant speak, even if my family is.. adverse to learning it themselves. they get a few signs, and ive been trying to use more while speaking to help them learn it. ASL is a very interesting language and i like it a lot. i wish you luck with learning it yourself

Palmistry (Chiromancy):

Study the lines, mounts, and shapes on your palm. Each crease tells a story about your life path, personality, and potential. It's like reading a roadmap to your destiny right on your hand!

Before starting, choose which hand you are going to interpret. It is said that one hand expresses the future that you were born with, while the other expresses the future that you have created.

There are two different traditions when it comes to deciding which hand matches which future.

The first tradition says that a females' right hand is the one that you were born with, while the left one is how your actions have modified your path.

For males, it would be the other way around. Males left hand is the one you were born with , while the right one is how your actions have modified your path.

The second tradition, and the one I follow, says that your nondominant hand shows the destiny that you were assigned at birth, while the dominant hand shows the path that you have chosen. This is linked to the fact that using your hand will change the shape of its lines, so your nondominant hand is more likely to maintain a better representation of the lines that you had at birth.

Lines

Lines are divided into major lines and secondary lines. The major lines give you an overall reading, while the secondary lines address the details. The three main lines in palm reading are the heart line, the head line, and the life line.

Heart Line

This is the line of relationships and love. The heart line is located closer to the fingers. It starts under the index finger or the middle finger and continues toward the pinky finger.

• If your heart line begins below the index finger, it means that you have a happy love life.

• If it begins below the middle finger, it means that you can be selfish in your relationships.

• A heart line that reaches both ends of the palm can mean dependency or lack of compromise.

• A short line means that you fall in love easily or that you prefer sexual relationships to love relationships.

• A straight line means that you dont pay much attention to love relationships or that you can easily control your emotions.

• A curved line shows that your emotions control you more than you control them.

• A wavy line indicates an absence of serious relationships.

• If there are circles, the line is broken, or smaller lines cross it, it indicates trauma and sadness.

Head Line

The head line starts between the index finger and the thumb. It is located between the heart line and the life line, in the middle of the palm, crossing it This line is related to mental and thought processes as well as intelligence.

• A long line denotes good memory and intelligence. The longer the line is, the better these attributes are.

• A straight line shows calmness and knowing how to manage your emotions.

• A curved line is a sign of creative and idealistic people.

• A broken line indicates indecisiveness and nervousness.

• A line that is crossed by smaller lines indicates very important decisions.

• A line that is branched upward signifies academic success, while a line branched downward signifies mental illness.

• A deep line denotes a clear, focused mind and concise thinking.

• A wavy line is a sign of instability or a short attention span.

Life Line

The life line starts under the head line and creates an arc around the thumb, extending to almost reach the wrist. This line is related to the length of the life itself as well as lifestyle and life choices.

• A deep line indicates a healthy life and vitality, while a fainter one usually indicates health problems.

• A line that is close to the thumb, especially if it is short, denotes limited energy.

• Multiple life lines show that you have friends or family who will help you through life.

• If the line breaks and starts another line, it is a sign of a sudden change in lifestyle: either positive or negative.

• A semicircular line around the thumb line shows enthusiasm and vigor.

• Short lines crossing the life line represent sudden dangers or misfortunes.

• A circle in the line shows injuries or illnesses. If the whole line looks

"chained," it is a sign of poor health since birth.

•Several branches in the life line indicate multiple paths.

Mounts

The mounts are the bumps of flesh on the palm. They are part of advanced palmistry and usually have an important role in palm reading. Each mount is named after a celestial body and is linked to a life aspect related to that celestial body.

Examine its shape: Is it raised? Is it flat? Is it merged with other mounts? Look for markings, such as chains or stars. A well-developed mount shows that the characteristics related to it have an important place in the life of that person. A normal mount is in proportion to the other mounts and to the hand as a whole, and a flat or absent mount is a sign of lack of that personal trait.

There are nine mounts in total.

Looking at your left hand, from left to right and top to bottom, they are the following.

QMount of Jupiter

Located at the base of the index finger, it represents willpower, authority, and ambition. If it is well developed, it shows that you are reliable. If it is overdeveloped (higher than the rest), it can be a sign of possessiveness and lack of compassion.

A soft mount of Jupiter is usually a sign of overindulgence, and a flat or absent mount of Jupiter shows lack of self-esteem or ambition.

Mount of Saturn

You will find this mount at the base of your middle finger. It is the mount of discipline and responsibility. A well-developed mount of Saturn indicates intelligence, responsibility, and independence. If it is overdeveloped, it shows a tendency for cynical thinking and isolation.

A flat mount of Saturn shows a strong faith in fate or other superstitions or religious systems.

People with fat or absent mounts of Saturn are scrupulous but can be saddened easily.

Mount of the Sun

Also called the mount of Apollo, this is the mount of creativity, wealth, and influence. It is located at the base of the ring finger. A well-developed mount shows love for the arts, compassion, and Aexibility to changes. If it is overdeveloped, it can be a sign of envy and a hot temper. If it is flat or it does not appear, it can indicate a poor aesthetic taste, difficulty standing out in a crowd, and poor decision-making skills.

Mount of Mercury

Located at the base of the pinky finger, the mount of Mercury is associated with communication, thinking processes, and wisdom. A well-developed mount is a trait of resourceful people. If it is overdeveloped, it shows that you tend to talk too much or be insincere. If it is flat or absent, it can show shyness or an inability to communicate with others.

Inner/Lower Mount of Mars

This mount is located at the side of the palm, between the mounts of Jupiter and Venus. If it is well developed, it shows courage, but if it is overdeveloped, it shows aggressiveness. A low or absent inner mount of Mars is a sign of uncertainty and self-consciousness.

Plain of Mars

Located in the center of the palm, the plain of Mars is not technically a mount, so the interpretation is a bit different. A well-defined plain shows a confident and balanced person. A low plain is a sign of easily influenced people.

Outer/Upper Mount of Mars

This mount is located on the side of the palm, between the heart line and the head line. It represents self-control and temperament. A well-developed mount is a sign of strong will and perseverance. An overdeveloped mount stones lack of fear of danger, and a far mount shows a lack of perseverance or an inability to express feelings.

Mount of Venus

This mount is located at the base of the thumb and is surrounded by the life line. This mount represents love and affection. If it is well developed, it shows a balanced, sensual, and afectionate person. If it is overdeveloped, it is a sign fan overindulgent person who is highly influenced by family and traditions. If it is low or absent, it is typically a sign of a coldhearted person with weak family bonds.

Mount of the Moon

Also called the mount of Luna, this mount is located at the opposite side of the mount of Venus. This mount is related to creativity, intuition, and emotions. A prominent mount represents a person with a highly developed intuition, imagination, and psychic abilities. If it is overdeveloped, it is a sign of a sentimental person who tends to fantasize to the point of being absent. A low mount represents a lack of new ideas.

Shapes

Studying the shape of the hand is called chirognomy, and it is a discipline of its own. It is an offshoot of palmistry, and many palmists use it to create a more holistic interpretation of the palm. Chirognomy interprets the shape and size of the hand, fingers, and nails; the texture and flexibility of the skin; and the presence or absence of hair, among other features.

When studying the shape of the hand, there are two approaches. The first branch classifies seven types of hands: square, spatulate, conical, knotty, pointed, elemental, and mixed. The second branch classifies hands by assigning them an element. The Chinese palmistry tradition uses the elements earth, fire, air, water, wood, and metal. The Western palmistry tradition, which is the one explained below, uses air, fire, water, and earth.

Air

Air hands have long, bony fingers with a shorter, usually square, palm. People who have this kind of hand are usually very mentally active, thus easily bored. They are always looking for new challenges and they solve problems in their own way. Although they have good instincts, they are very logical and like to analyze the details. Because of this, they can be perceived as cold, although they tend to be sociable and talkative.

They need the right amount of stimulation or they can become anxious.

Fire

Fire hands have a long, rectangular palm with shorter fingers. Most people with this kind of hand are outgoing and extroverted. They are usually enthusiastic and optimistic, but this can easily turn into impulsiveness and egoism. They are passionate and confident in their abilities, and are led by their heart and desires, even if this brings them problems. As the life of the party, they always make fun companions, but they can also be very impatient. They need to pay attention to the signs of burnout, as it can easily happen to them.

Water

Water hands have long palms and long fingers.They are usually shaped like an oval and tend to have soft skin. This kind of hand is linked to introverted people who are really in tune with their intuition. Psychic abilities are something natural for them. They are very creative, especially in calm and quiet environments. Their decisions are ruled by their heart and feelings, making them perceived as moody or thin-skinned. They are particularly sensitive to negative emotions, such as sadness or stress.

Earth

Earth hands have short palms and short fingers.

They are squared and broad, usually with a thick skin. People with earth hands tend to be hardworking and have solid values to the point of sometimes being stubborn. They have a practical and realistic point of view and are reliable and stable. Although they are responsible, they can be short-tempered and materialistic at times. They enjoy manual work and being outdoors in contact with nature. Some palmists who use this approach like to complete their interpretation with astrology, linking the element of the hand with the element of the zodiac sign.

Zuko did not need to sacrifice himself for Sokka and Sokka was not responsible for Zuko.” Love this love this love this I dont feel like sokkas trauma is represented enough in zukka relationships. This is a really good depiction of it and how Sokka was given too much responsibility at a young age. I like how you’re touching on this and adding it to their relationship.

Is this going to be one of those things where sokka falls first but zuko falls harder? Its giving the vibes. Sokkas already showing signs of figuring it out. I dont think zuko is for a while. Thats just my take on it though.

The Last two paragraphs - Oh my god hella what the fuck are you on. This is the kind of stuff that makes taob so good and wonderful and magnificent and glorious and and and-

So the thing about how you write Zukka is, its perfect. I am so picky about how people write Zuko specifically (and azula but were not talking about her right now) but you are just so good at writing him. I love how you keep his canon characterization and not like infantilizing him (seriously, people tend to forget that Zuko is an asshole) but you also tap into all of Zukos traits, not just the ones that are appealing. Like the black and white thinking, his bossiness, his temper, all that fun stuff. And you take all of this and combine it with the traits that he picked up because of the taob plot and you’re consistent with it. Like I see a lot of fics (and i also do this with my fic so i know its really hard not to do this ) that will put characters through something and its like that event never happened after like two nightmares and three flashbacks and a conversation. But you’re very good at juggling everything going on with zukos mind and character.

You write in a way that makes you come off as extremely intellegent. I dont know what I mean by that but like on tumblr you give off the vibes of someone who is just unnaturally smart, and then you read taob and you're just like 'yeah that checks out'

I got off track of what i was originally wanting to say.

My favorite Zukka dynamic is Sokka leaning into Zukos protectiveness and so how you showed this in this chapter took me aback because i knew that that is where this was headed but you executed it so well. Also its kind of nice that we’re finally starting to get into the zukka portion of taob. And feelings are finally being felt for eachother. Like when you said slow burn holy shit this is slow burn. I love it so much 10/10 marvelous, all the praise, bravo.

Then there was also the acknowledgement that Zuko and Sokka arent responsible for one another. And that theyre allowed to just be Zuko and Sokka without the stress of being the one ‘in charge’. Like theres no added pressure to it. And like I said people have a tendency to focus on Zukos trauma and comletely dismiss the trauma of sokka and how his issues minght surface in a relationship. I love how you’re going about this.

Like the dynamic you write between Zuko and Sokka is so unique and rare but so perfect and accurate based on their characters.

I also always forget how much i love Tomnook and I love that theyre going with them. This is something that I was sad thinking about whenever i was like ‘huh i wonder whats going to happen in taob next’ i would get upset thinking about nanook and tomkin being actively present. So the fact that they are makes me happy.

The last like paragraph and line were so perfect I loved them so much.

You are such a fantastic writer like I cant put into words how much I love your style and the way you phrase things and how fluently things flow together when you write them. I think I’ve mentioned in one of my other things that it reminds me of the alphabet and how there are certain ways you can order the letters that done seen natural or fluent. And how its like you have a special formula for knowing which synonym to use or what word to use or which order to arrange sentences. Its so poetic and eloquent. Like its so weird to me how much I’m in love with just you’re style. To me everything you write is just so perfect.

You’re like the definition of a ‘natural story teller’

Like you come off as one of those that you can go into any situation no matter how bland and come out with a really good story or metaphor or something.

everything you said about zukka and how im writing them! ive said before but both because the romance is a new part of taob and bc people have been waiting so patiently for zukka, im always super nervous about how im writing them so this is just JKSDHGKHG for me especially bc you basically picked up on everything im trying to do. like focusing on sokka's trauma, them not being responsible for each other and how they BOTH need to feel that, showing zuko's protective side, not making zuko less of an asshole etc - these are all conscious decisions for me so for someone to go 'hey i See What You're Doing and im so here for it!' is beyond reassuring

tw for just programming shit in general

hey, so i’ve been questioning if what i experienced is related to programming and hc did. for a while, ive know of some sort of complex system structure. the problem is that there isn’t much abt programming ive found, especially the aftermath of it.

some experiences are..

- recently we had an alter split very rapidly; we didn’t notice he split but very soon after he split, we experienced rapid switching and a higher gatekeeper being forced into dormancy. i didn’t know of this gatekeeper but one of our main gatekeeper did. this caused deep disassociation for us. later we learned a sublayer had a missing alter we already had an assumption was programmed disappear and have the host of said sublayer to be kicked out of the sublayer (i think, i still dont know how to word it) and replaced with a very strict alter

- sometimes when we research hc did too long, we have an anonymous alter front and force a almost sleep like trance onto us where we’re almost paralyzed and then deletes any signs we researched it and forced us to forget everything we learned (he hasnt showed up much so imma make this before he shows up again)

- we have a rotation of alters in a very far down sublayer; they switch with the seasons and most of them can interact. our autumn group is most definitely organic, or mostly organic, share some names of alters in other groups that are most definitely odd (like just numbers and letters)

in addition we have a sublayer of alters who speak their own language and can only be translated by the host of that layer (same sublayer that replaced the old host), we’ve had a history of forced dormancy, as well as what id assume is shatter splitting.

sorry if this isnt related to ramcoa; there were more experiences but we really don’t remember much of what happened to the system. ty for any help you can give, stay safe.

Are you ready for the single most helpful answer I can give?

Maybe.

All of things things are possible in programmed systems, but they aren’t impossible in organic systems. High levels of control, forced splitting and dormancy, cycles and languages, those things can happen in either.

I am interested in the sleep-like alter. That would be strange for a system without any history of RAMCOA. Alters erasing trauma material is common, but I have no idea why they would do this without having those experiences.

It’s also the trance; where I can see a non programmed, non RAMCOA alter deleting potential triggers, that looks like something we’ve seen in programmed systems before.

The number names are another pointer. Combined with the trance alter, I wouldn’t dismiss a potential past of RAMCOA.

In case you& are a programmed sys, I would recommend setting up safeties ahead of time. Even if you don’t see active programs running, gather support people and resources like they will.

Programmed systems also come with passive programs to keep alters in their assigned spots and prevent memories from leaking over. You might get some pushback if you look too hard at things like structures or periods in your& childhood.

Tumblr and TikTok have a surprising number of survivors, some of whom share their own experiences or have links to reading they found beneficial. It’s unfortunate, but there aren’t many professional documents like studies or peer-reviewed texts.

Most of the paved road was laid out by previous survivors, and there is a beauty to the community we rely on. Set up some failsafes, then come back and start digging with peers. As of now, what we have is each other.

i can’t really get over how many people are buying into the thought that ethan is like fully obsessed with ariana and is sitting by the phone waiting for her to call and stuff like tht. i get that most people only know of him bc of his link to her but i wish people would understand that not everyone in the world is as brain rottingly obsessed with ariana as they are and that sometimes people, even people who know ariana personally, have lives outside of her. i personally don’t think ethan is like head over heels in love with ariana and obsessed with her and will do anything to be with her, and i think that the people who believe he is are blinded by their standom. i agree that he’s a complete dunce for blowing up his family and whole life for the foreseeable future to jump into bed with her but i genuinely don’t think he did that with the intention of them riding off into the sunset and living happily ever after together, consequences be damned. i think he had a severe, stupid lapse of judgement (maybe brought on by other circumstances in his life/marriage like you’ve said) and is sorely paying for it now, but i absolutely don’t believe that he chose intentionally to throw away his family and reputation to be the next mr ariana grande thinking he was special and she’d change her ways for him or whatever. and like that other anon said him seeming to settle back down in nyc again seems to prove that; I can’t imagine ariana up and moving to nyc just to be with him, all of her music connects are in la and she’s working on a bunch of music stuff rn and there are rumours she’s working on her next album, plus we already know her team has her as booked and busy as possible to try and put as much news and distance between her and this scandal as possible. they’re even more incompatible than ethan and lily (we’re guessing) were. and it’s seeming like by staying signed in to do spamalot he’s made his choice, especially since someone else rightly pointed out that he would have to have auditioned and contractually agreed to do spamalot a while ago; if he had plans to be with ari long term knowing her lifestyle and all of the things she has in the works in la why would he make his roots in nyc for the foreseeable future?? i dont think he loves her i think she was a good distraction, probably made him feel real special, since she’s one of the most famous women in the world, and she probably wanted someone other than her husband and just chose him and they were sort of the perfect distraction from each others marriages/real lives.

Oh my god those people are so annoying. If this whole scandal has taught us anything, it’s that people really can’t think for themselves. Im sure those people want it to be true too.

Yeah Ethan definitely isn’t obsessed with and in love with Ariana. Like I’ve said on here before, Ethan has known Lilly and her family for many many years, so even if my theories about them having problems in their marriage is true, it’s kinda hard for me to imagine him just throwing this family away just to be with Ariana.

And you’re right about them being very incompatible. I’m sure they enjoyed their on-set showmance, but their relationship would never work in the real world. Like you said, he’s clearly made his choice considering he’s still doing Spamalot, which will keep him in NYC for at least the next year or so.
