Made two new ocs today ( •̀ ω •́ )✧
Probably my two fav ocs I made so far.
The girl's name is Zenovia. The name Zenovia means Life of Zeus or Loveable. (I just googled it)
The boy's name is Felix. The name Felix means Happy or Lucky. I decided to name him that because he's an optimistic dude. Also, he looks like a four-leaf clover... o(*°▽°*)o
Also, here's another picture of them

A sad day for the acting community. Whether you’re a guardian, demigod, or just visiting the Continental Hotel — there’s no doubt that Lance Reddick’s involvement heightened the experience. He was talented, charismatic, and had an allure that will never be matched.
Now if y’all excuse me, I’m gonna go cry my eyes out…and maybe reload Destiny. For old times sake.

currently writing a fanfic where thalia reflects on taking zoe's place as lieutenant. and the zoe and thalia parallels in the original series are so strong. i mean. both of their deaths were caused by their fathers. both of their deaths end with them staring up at the sky. both of their deaths lead to them being a symbol of sacrifice and heroism. both of them joined the hunt because they lost faith in a boy they cared for. both of them were trapped between a rock and a hard place. how am i just now realizing this?

I can already SMELL the fanfictions happening in Ao3 after that recent episode, Joel..
why does this man have so much rizz that he pulls men who then proceed to become either obsessed with him or OBSESSED with him?

I’m in my feels about Leto rn.
She a mom!!!! You don’t understand she’s a MOM!!!! And she was left all alone after the titan war (most titans were banished to Tartarus) and then she fell in love with this guy with all these red flags but they were genuinely in love!!! They sang songs and talked about deep things and Leto and Zeus LOVED EACH OTHER!!!!! And then she was made to suffer so much for it but she never took any of it out on her kids, and then they were basically taken away from her by Olympus!!!! And she was alone again!!!! But she loves her kids so so much so she built a safe place for them on Delos to come home to!!!! And she knows she can’t protect her kids from the monster the man she loves has become but that doesn’t mean she doesn’t try!!!! Leto tries so hard!!!!! And both of her kids fucking love her with all they have!!!!!!! Family is so important to all of them despite the fact that one member has become a horrible dickwad!!!!! They love each other!!!!!!!!! AHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!

Okay but what if instead of punishing Apollo, the one who gets punished is Zeus.
The fates bitch slap him with mortality and tell him how much he's failed as a king.
And he really needs to sort that out, like now. Because they're frankly tired off putting up with his bullshit.
His actions and pride damn near caused the end of everyone with Gaea and it's the final straw.
Hera is ruling solely as Queen of Olympus. Thanks to having her nephew (Leo) and her Champion (Jason) around, she really mellows out and is trying her best to do better.
Zeus has to genuinely apologise to everyone he's ever wronged. And has to go and shadow a chosen leader. One that the fates deem one he should learn from and emulate.
That leader is Jason.
The son that Zeus/Jupiter hate and despise.
The one who called him out for being unwise in wanting to punish Apollo for Gaea's awakening... is the one who has to teach his dad how to do his job properly.
Because despite Jason hating being in charge, he's good at it. Really good at it, he's a kind and is an effective leader.
And everyone keeps voting for him, and Reyna straight up refuses to lead without him.
So he has to lead or else Camp Jupiter will fall into civil war and he set on fire... Again.
"Wait the civil war or being set on fire?" "... Both."
Meanwhile everyone who Zeus has ever pissed off, is hunting him and trying to kill him.
Zeus is mortal but he can't die on this quest, he will merely be sent to Hades and have to listen to his little brother make fun off him.
Until he's bought back to the living world.
Suffice to say, he ain't enjoying this but everyone else is.
Percy and Thalia are following Zeus around with a beat box and working together to ruin his day.

Just realized that Dr. Thorn in book three thought it was a grand old idea to stick the son of Poseidon who was specifically warned to never fly again or die on a helicopter to get him to the Titans.

Cyclops Are Valuable and Highly Skilled Workers in PJO, Not Mistakes.
Something I find really interesting (read: annoying) is how Annabeth says that "Cyclops are mistakes," and then nearly everything we hear of cyclops in every book/series says differently?
Of course there's outliers like Polyphemus and the cyclops Annabeth stabbed as a 6-7 year old but those are the exceptions. The majority of cyclops that are mentioned/seen aren't like that.
In tlt, Chiron says that Zeus thinks Poseidon stole his lightning bolt so Poseidon could have his cyclops study and make copies of it. Which means that his cyclops are highly competent weaponsmiths.
In SoM, Tyson works with Beckendorf and the Hephaestus kids and learns how to make magical objects. By the end of the book, Tyson makes a magical shield for Percy, which reveals so many of his talents: 1. Tyson is an artist (the shield was covered in scenes of their adventures from that summer), 2. Tyson went from fumbling with small objects to making an intricate shield in the space of 2 months. Which means that Tyson (and possibly all cyclops) have the ability to learn/pick up on skills very quickly with high degrees of proficiency. 3. Not to mention all the work that went into the mechanics of making the watch and the shield.
In SoM, Tyson was able to tell that Clarisse's warship's engine was failing, and was able to fix it, long enough for it to hold together for a few more minutes. And this was with little to no education in ship engines. So just as Percy has instinctive power over old fashioned wooden ships, Tyson has power over modern engineered ship engines.
In tlo, Poseidon's army of cyclops fought alongside him and the other Olympians against Typhon, demonstrating that not only are they decent warriors/soldiers but they are literally the best. They're good enough to fight alongside Olympian gods, including Zeus.
In tlo, Zeus makes Tyson a general of Olympus's armies. So 1. Cyclops can hold positions of authority not only in Poseidon's kingdom but also Zeus's. And 2. Olympus also has an army of cyclops (I'm assuming that Tyson is a general over an army of cyclops and not an army of lesser immortals/nymphs/satyrs/minor gods).
In tlo, Tyson and his cyclops friends are the ones building most of the minor gods cabins. Which shows that they're construction workers and civil engineers. Possibly architects too - aside from Nico's cabin it's unclear who designed the other cabins.
In HoO, Gaea has an army of cyclops, one that marched towards camp jupiter. Idk if they're Poseidon's cyclops - and I highly doubt they are because the gods including Poseidon were against Gaea, and most of Poseidon's cyclops live with him in Atlantis - and also because according to Greek myths Gaea and Ouranus also had a few cyclops kids. Gaea was using her own cyclops kids here. Either way, the fact that they're part of an army, one that responded to their mother/grand-mother etc. call shows that they're competent soldiers, at the very least.
In Cotg, Percy sees many cyclops building Poseidon's summer villa. So their abilities include construction and civil engineering as well.
So in conclusion, cyclops are hella talented. They're highly proficient in weapon making, magical weapons making, they have unnaturally good ability to pick up on new skills, they're elite fighters, hold positions of authority in multiple kingdoms, construction workers and civil engineers.
They're literally trades people? And in our society, tradesmen (and women) literally hold our houses together? They're essential workers. You wouldn't have a house, or plumbing or electrical systems or a furnace or AC without tradesmen. Idk if it's the same in PJO because Rick doesn't get into that level of worldbuilding. Anyways.
You wanna call them "mistakes" again, Annabeth? Or say "eww" when Tyson tries to say hi to you?

one of my favorite things about Seraphim is how little not being a king impacts him. His birthright being stolen from him is just something he doesn't dwell on.. He was supposed to be king of the Corinthians/Corinth, but he just doesn't give a shit, more than likely because despite how shitty his life was, his experiences made him realize he would not like that life. After retrospection and his hatred for the gods and their authority, I don't think he'd ever want to be in a position where he would have anything similar to power or authority that made him somewhat similar to a king or god.
