Don't know their name yet, but they are based off the indri lemur! Markings change slightly, so I went with this specific picture.

He's a cis male and grows to be big and muscular, with a constant angry-face as his normal face. He also has fantastic eyelashes and will show them off. He also likes being called "pretty" over handsome.

He doesn't have to choose between the stereotypically masculine rough-and-tumble lifestyle with a deep voice and broad body and the stereotypically feminine traits of loving+talking about his looks, being petty at times, and being very loving and talkative. He can and will do ALL those things, thank you very much.

Interestingly, Artemis' decision to start wearing suits (and to dress more formally sensu lato) more or less follows the (presumed) death of his father and the mental break of his mother; what we see as Artemis' present-day, default sartorial styling is almost a kind of mourning attire. And, of course, I'm compelled by the many reasons (verging from banal to saddening) as to why Artemis never really stops dressing like this.

They're friends, she accepts their presence without, you know, double-checking them, but they aren't someone-- she can't drop every defense around them. But, yeah, Tangle and Sonic are completely in the clear. KYLE: Hm. What about Silver? I guess she hasn't really met him so much... IAN: Silver... I- I think she trusts him enough, but she's wary of his naivete and his power. KYLE: Mhm. IAN: Like, he means well, she doesn't think ill of him there. It's just, he can do a lot of damage, and he can be tricked into pointing himself in the wrong direction. So he needs to-- she needs to keep an eye on him. KYLE: Mhm. Alrighty. Hello Lemurblog, I have a little question for you, we know that Clover and Crimson are sisters but we don't know which one of them is the older sister and which is the younger sister? I'm curious what you think about this

YES i do have thoughts! to me while they're twins and it doesn't matter which one was born first, I think it's Crimson. it's funny to annoy Clover with it, and i like that it plays with the idea people have that older siblings are responsible caretakers, with the irony that crimson is not a caretaker type, and of course even harms her sister. it would also figure for clover that she always comes in second, even in minutes.

Another thing is, going with crimson as their parents "favorite," their temperaments as babies might have led the parents to feel that crimson was the "easy" one and clover was "difficult," so i can see them making a connection then with how Clover was the second baby, the extra baby, when in an easier world maybe there only would've been one. (This is very niche to my idea for their parents though, especially how I don't see it as a planned pregnancy. at least nobody plans for twins.) It would be illogical and subconscious, but ppl have illogical subconscious beef with their own children all the time. So, it pairs with clover feeling like she's no one's first choice, and like she can't belong unless she works hard to prove she does. Not something caused by birth order, but complemented by it. which is why I like it!

Like you said, their birth order never came up, so it's important to me that there is no age difference and they relate to each other as twins. They're two of the same. The only roles I believe they were both forced into were "good daughter" and "bad daughter." So when I pick their birth order, it's like picking their star signs; it's not what motivates them, but it's fun to choose. thanks for wanting to know my thoughts!!!
