actor! toji fushiguro thoughts 💭

actor toji would be one of those hot dilf actors that women would always be drooling over, edits of him always popping up on your fyp, the most outta pocket comments underneath all of his insta posts, he would be the number 1 dilf for all the old man fuckers.

toji rarely posts on social media. he’s at that age where he just does not care to post his whole life online, but that only attracts people to him more because he is so mysterious. he would have like 10 million followers and only follow 12 people (including you)

toji would probably be one of those actors that have no variety in their roles, but everybody would still eat it up anyways. toji as an actor would typically play a villain/antagonist or an anti-hero, typically in an action movie/series and he plays them well. toji can embody an intimidating, frightening, intelligent villain very well. he could be cast as one of the most horrendous, horrible villains and be a menace towards the main cast but because he looks like that, he is forgiven.

but there are those rare times toji is casted as a father or father figure and his character would do anything for their daughter and everyone just loses it. he plays the father role well, almost too well. he is so caring, protective and sweet towards the actress playing as his daughter, even behind the scene clips with one another, he is just so gentle and dreamy. the fans cannot handle it!

during interviews, toji can be charming. he cracks jokes and he answers questions honestly, even if they make him look unprofessional. he really does not give a fuck about that, which only makes him even more attractive. he’s a little sleazy sometimes, but that just adds to his lazy effortless appeal.

he just has such a dominant personality and not in a bad way either. like if an interviewer asked a question that made a cast member uncomfortable, he would smoothly change the subject and the mood, making everyone forget about it entirely. also, his stare is really intense…like when the interviewer or a fellow cast member is speaking, he makes sure to look at them and listen really closely, not even realising how intimidating that could be 😭

despite his unprofessional personality and wealthy background, people who work with toji cannot say anything bad about him. he is a great actor with great work ethic and is always respectful to his cast members. and most of all, he is humble. due to his background and accomplishments, other actors on set expect him to be all flashy and all head in the clouds, but toji isn’t like that. toji is very aware and down to earth and he doesn’t see himself as superior because of his wealth. he sees what that power does to some people (his family) and he wants nothing not do with it.

overall, for the most part, toji is a respected actor, with a loyal (albeit crazy) fanbase, he actually enjoys his job and lives a relatively private and quiet life. people barely know anything despite his wealth and fame and prefers to keep it that way.

Popping your lips together, you smile as you pocket your lipgloss. You have to make sure you look your absolute best around him or else you’d break. He’s everything, everything you ever wanted and ever dreamed of in a man. Sure he’s your exact opposite; burly, strong, mean, a fighter, rough on the edges and the inside. But he makes your heart swell and it’s impossible to not be swept away by his unintentional charm.

“Well if it isn’t the love sick fool,” Viala snickers as she slides next to you on the hard plastic booth. The three others who followed behind her all agreed, each giving an unsolicited piece of mind. “As long as he’s on the market, I have a chance, assholes,” You rolled your eyes, continuing to touch up your look. A collected wince sounded throughout the table, making you turn your head. “Oh honey, you didn’t hear, did you..,” Viala says with faux sympathy.

“Hear what?” The answer walked through the arcade doors, wrapped around Vance's arm. The embarrassment had you stand up-right and rush to the bathroom, no doubt letting your friends talk bad about you. God you were such a fool thinking you’d ever have a chance. Especially since the girl wrapped around his finger had been after him openly for the past two years, even pushing you to the floor in order to get to talk to Vance first. Consistent failed attempts to get close enough to even say a casual “hi” to him without it being weird have taken a toll on you.

Sucking in the tears that threatened to fall, you smile at the grimy reflection of yourself. You noticed how asymmetrical your hairline was, how your clothes didn’t quite match color and how the lipgloss you just recently applied had begun to fade. “Fuck!” You scream, smashing your fists onto the porcelain sink. No, get up. Do not let anyone catch you like this. You have to be perfect, if not for him, for your sanity. Dabbing at the corners of your eyes with a towel, you smile a toothy grin at your reflection once more before heading back to the real world.

You avoid the arcade area, instead heading towards the roller skate booth, getting a pair and switching them for your painful heels. Roller Skating has always been an easy and care-free escape for you. The wind blowing through your hair and the adrenaline rushing through your body from the possibility of falling. The music was usually in your taste so it was easy to get lost in it all. Perfect escape. Carefully stepping onto the rink, you close your eyes and sigh, letting yourself indulge in the feeling.

You didn’t notice your friends and Vance’s girlfriend join you on the rink, advancing towards you. “Hey bitch!” A voice sounded from behind, a hand grabbing you and turning you around. You came face to face with her. Your friends must have told her about your undying love for her boyfriend because why else would she ever even look in your general direction. “Wanna make goo-goo eyes at my boyfriend? This is what’ll happen!” she says as she pushes you down, taking a drink from someone behind her and dumping over your head. “Now you’re nothing but a dirty slut,” she smirks, skating away.

The tears that threatened to fall didn’t give warning before they spilled down your face, mixing in with the soda. You stumbled your way to the roller skate booth, giving back the skates and slipping on your heels. The laughing and loud insults hurt your head, but Vance’s stare hurt you more than being called a slut ever would. You had to stumble your way home teary-eyed because your father wasn’t supposed to pick you up for another hour. Not even bothering to let him know you were home; you made your way to your room so you could sink into your soft comforter and silently cry.

i’m genuinely very curious if you think there’s a song out there that really wraps not just the readers, billy’s, and stu’s dynamic together but also the vibe of the series

or if you have songs that you think represent characters individually?

i got the notfiication for this and IMMEDIATELY stopped doing homework,, a lot of my writing inspo/motivation comes from music so i have a lot of thoughts

okay i have to preface this by saying that i am unfortunately not a cool, original indie music girly, i would LOVE to be, but i'm aware that it's not true to who i am at the moment 😭

as far as theme song, i think it's hard to nail one that i think is perfect bc i want the traditional slasher vibes and the heart of the story to be captured so i have 5 choices (that i can defend i promise 😭):

Verse 3 of I Know the End, Phoebe Bridgers - ik this song got tiktok-ified but i loved it before that 😭 i think these lyrics and the overall production provide both the kind of ominous urgency of a life and death situation situation while still packing a gut punch that doesn't seem to have a definite source, like when you hear that verse you know there's something tragic going on and you know you're hurt over it, but you can't figure out why

Verse 1 and Chorus of Ballad of a Homeschooled Girl, Olivia Rodrigo - that entire song is just so Y/n and I think the production is kind of "active"/energetic(?) enough to encompass more of the theme

Refrain 1 and (mainly) Pre-chorus of Happiness is a Butterfly, Lana Del Rey - a DRASTIC change in direction ik, and it might seem too soft, but the "if he's a serial killer then what's the worst..." verse is too literal, too good for me to not at least mention as an option,, like it's too real

First verse (or maybe the bridge) of The Love Club, Lorde - I'm on the fence about this one bc the cheerful/more pop sound doesn't fully fit the way I see the final girl fic aesthetic/vibe, but I love Lorde so it got some extra points lol. I think pairing this "clique" that should be a good with the bloody/violent visuals created by the lyrics has potential for a final girl vibe though, especially the first verse.

The Chorus of Nymphology by Melanie Martinez - this one shifts the framing a little but it’s great at summarizing what it’s like to be manic pixie dream girl-ified and implies something bad happening/being forced onto said manic pixie dream girl, so i think it works a little

So music that reminds me of the individual characters are different than what i think they'd listen to, that's a very important clarification!

This is a little less concrete to me, I've mentioned it before that Billy reminds me of Mastermind by Taylor Swift, he also reminds me of Writer in the Dark by Lorde (“I am my mother’s child, i love you till my breathing stops, i love you till you call the cops on me” is PERFECT for him idc)

i feel very strongly that Stu is Mirrorball (by Taylor Swift),, like he premeditates his actions based on getting attention (good or bad) and would literally kill someone before letting anyone find out

i wanted to give Y/n a taylor swift song so that it'd all match up, but i think it's so much more fitting to make her the odd one out in the trio and say that she's in her Olivia Rodrigo Era, she reminds me so much of Guts, she reminds me of Ballad of a Homeschool Girl (which is why it's one of the theme songs lol), and she will be relating to Making the Bed and vampire before the story ends 😭

I think the saddest part abt losing the baby for fl would be losing the last thing she had of liam. It was mostly because the baby was an extension of her dead lover that had her so distraught

Fl would still be wearing traditional black mourning clothes when William sees her again and all the people who didn’t know abt William coming back would ever so confused when she suddenly starts wearing other colours again

Thing is with fl is that she’s actually really understanding but she doesn’t show it if that makes sense. Like she lets William back in really easily because she knows that even tho he was selfish for not finding her as soon as he could, she knows he was suffering a lot in her absence and physically too. She doesn’t think what he said to her before he jumped into the Thames was right but she sympathises with him bc she realises soon after that he was trying to push her away for a reason

Honestly fl and Liam are giving that one lyric in flawless by the neighbourhood “So, she put his heart in a bag, he wouldn't ask for it back He didn't want her to cry, she didn't want to be sad She said, you better not leave me This shit'll be fucked for days and weeks and months”

He keeps trying to sneak little looks at her because he thinks she got even prettier although tired, in his absence and he can’t take his eyes off her aww. The moment their relationship goes back to normal, they can actually love each other freely without having to worry about anything. Fl breaks off her engagement to liam wannabe and lives with him happily ever after and they have a bunch of kids who are little hybrids of them

I swear liam is on the very thin line between normal love & infatuation and then just insane obsession and low-key yandere type of love for fl. the shrine is such a funny concept tho like imagine one of his brothers sees his little collection of photos that he has of fl and him together. Gets worse after they get married 😭

Louis is og Charlie’s and og Lottie’s therapist u can’t tell me otherwise. He had to do couples counselling for fl and Liam except that wasn’t very hard tbh.

NAH THE BATHTUB 😭 THEYRE SO DOWN BAD. Only the other members of the gang’s bedrooms are safe. Every damn room is crazy 😭 they didn’t have much time. Had to make it count. Arguably Moran has had it the worst out of all of them. We make fun of him for being a cockblock but for him all of a sudden he’s walking in on some kid he’s known since said kid was a teenager getting pinned to a desk by his not actually wife

The only mtp characters I can imagine getting any sort of action would be Moran, James, possibly Albert?? John but that’s because he’s married. Patterson low-key a dilf like bros 40 and still looking fine. Most of the others have never even spoken to a woman let alone kissed one

I relate to liams crush situation. It’s usually platonic but the admiration makes it feel romantic if that makes sense. I’ve never had a proper proper crush on a guy before bc British dudes are NASTY unless they’re from mtp.

i usually answer Muse as a shorthand bc that explains a lot about me 😅 favourite song very hard to say, but i'll nominate space dementia bc it's very striking

but i honestly listen to a ton of stuff. i grew up as a pop girlie with britney (massive fan), madonna, kylie minogue, was a very cultured indiegurl in my teens via arctic monkeys / franz ferdinand / the killers / kaiser chiefs / kasabian + a veritable britpop historian with how much blur, suede, pulp & oasis i injected in my veins. i could not have been an angsty millennial without placebo and my chemical romance, to which i know nearly every line like muscle memory. was obsessed with gwen stefani. i've listened religiously to lana del rey, florence + the machine and marina & the diamonds since their debut. girls aloud & little mix.

in recent years i've listened to a frenetic amount of anitta, maluma, j balvin, bad bunny and rosalia. i like my morning commute to pump me up. spotify is telling me that bichiyal has been my no 1 listened song for the last 2 years in a row & honestly that's valid.

last year i revisited the classic AM album and blasted it on repeat just like it was 2014. the beginning for R U Mine gets me every time.

today i had rammstein - ausländer on repeat

every once in a while i go back to sea shanties

i am a kanye west connoisseur (before the... you know). kids see ghosts was the last album i listened to. it felt weird not to include him, since there was a time in my life, when no matter how depressed i was, if i blasted some of his songs in my headphones i would ride it out somehow. speaking of which, ghost town is pretty aegon-coded ("i've been trying to make you love me, but everything i try just takes you further from me").

i remember commutting to school and feeling an intimate kind of euphoria while listening to the bends (that entire album actually). i remember it being so early it was pitch black and hearing whistle for the choir in the car. i was floored when i heard the version of somewhere only we know for the midnight mass trailer. demon days is still one of the best albums i've heard.

i inherited my penchant for modern talking from my dad. nothing beats geronimo's cadillac, man.

i don't really know how to start this one but i feel like your relationship is filled with a lot of light-hearted moments. there's always music playing when you two are together and there's never a dull moment. any chance he can matt is taking you to watch a new musical and even though he can't see it he goes again and again just to hear you get excited over the performance. whenever you find a new book it is almost a given you're reading the book out loud. even if matt isn't fully paying attention he loves to hear how your tone changes with the events of the book, it shows how invested you get in what you're reading which he adores. you and matt complement each other very well and that's that.

Love Island the game season two characters and what song they would listen too secretly/when they are going through it. This is all based on my own music taste btw.

Bobby: 505 by the Arctic monkeys. He likes Cardi so it’s most likely that he usually listens to hip-hop but I can picture him finding the song on spotify or tiktok and listening to the “but I crumble completely when you cry” part over and over again (but honestly, don’t we all?)

Lucas: Sudno by Molchat doma. Don’t ask me why I think this because I’m pulling it out my ass, but I can really picture him listening to russian post-punk. I think it’s the most famous song by the band so I imagine that he found that song on his recommended videos on youtube and got into the genre because of it.

Henrik: Flume by Bon Iver. This one is most likely because I read that the singer wrote it while in a cabin and I guess I associate those mountain vibes? I don’t even know, but I think he listens to it when he’s overwhelmed/nervous and wants to calm down or when he’s sad. I feel like he’d like the song but he wouldn’t necesarily talk too much about it.

Chelsea: How to be a heartbreaker by Marina. I think girlie found about Marina and the diamonds when she was a teenager and weather she identified with some of the lyrics or not, their songs just stuck with her through the years. She’d listen to it when she needs to feel like a bad bitch or has a hard day of work ahead to motivate herself. I think during her teenage years she might have tried drawing the heart Marina had during electra heart.

Priya: Diet mountain dew by Lana del Rey. She is a baddie and she knows it and honestly? I think Lana’s music might be right up her alley. She feels like she’s living her callifornian dream when she listens to her music when in reality she’s on her way to work and I stan her for it.

Marisol: Sweather Weather by the Neighbourhood. Do I even have to explain this one? It is the bisexual anthem but also it is really fucking good. What more could you possinly want?

Rocco: The less I know the better by Tame Impala. He feels like it’s the most underrated shit from the century (it’s not) and he’d sing it at absolutely every party he attends..

Lottie: Love will tear us apart by Joy Division. This one specially applies if Mc kisses her when she’s dumped/ if Mc ends up with Gary. I see her putting this song on her crying playlist and complaining about how most dudes she’s dated have ended up being tools (and honestly, I don’t blame her).
