With regard to Luka, Jagged, and Penny being Guardians now: according to the S5 Bible (which I guess we can talk about now since S5 finished airing), the Rio Special was meant to focus on Luka's travels and how he met/began training under Su-Han. And it was intended to be released before the end of S5 but I have no idea what the current progress on it is- the butterfly hero it was meant to introduce (LadyBlue, I think?) was originally going to show up in Re-Creation as an ally of Luka's to help fight Alliance. They ended up scrapping that, though. No idea what's going on with Penny and Jagged but I hope it's somehow a fakeout.

The writers really don't want to give Luka anything huh.

I don't really care about the whole "Luka learns from Su-Han with Jagged and Penny" thing because there are a lot worse problems with the finale, but it would have been nice to see Luka actually get to do something and get some character focus instead of this hamfisted and shoddy attempt at giving him some semblance of relevance. And don't get me started on how Su-Han bothered to teach Jagged and Penny how to resist akumatization but not Ladybug and Chat Noir, who idk, need it the most? Su-Han is such a bad mentor istg. I hope we get some explanation at some point in the future seasons as to how Su-Han agreed to train these people.

I was looking at the MLB wiki for transcripts when I spotted a picture of LadyBlue (that butterfly girl that supposed to appear in Miraculous World: Rio) and it turns out, she's a character belonging to this other show called Pixiegirl.

Honestly this picture is giving ChloNath vibes. But the girl (Pixiegirl) looks like if Chloe and Rose had fused together.

So apparently Lady Butterfly got renamed to "LadyBlue" and is now going to be in the ml Rio special instead of Pixie Girl / Fairy Force? Her colour scheme isn't even blue? And can Zagtoon stop moving characters to Miraculous? I was excited for Miss Rose but now she's going to be in the London special instead of her own show. And I also remember reading that Ladydragon was meant for Pixie Girl but got put in the Shanghai special instead. I get that Miraculous makes more money than any other Zagtoon show but if Miraculous gets cancelled they'll have nothing to fall back on as they've cancelled all their non-ml shows and are giving all their upcoming characters to Miraculous.

I think Zag initially said that LadyBlue (butterfly girl's stupid canon name) was going to be in S5 but later he said that she'd only be in the Brazil special.

Maybe?

Also can I just say I hate that most of the Special characters have 'Lady' as their title? Lady Dragon, Lady Blue, Lady Lion. I'm surprised they went with Sparrow/Eagle instead of tossing 'Lady' on Jess's name.

Recuerda mucho, por su temática, a Space Oddity, de David Bowie. Ambas empiezan con una cuenta atrás y la ignición de un imaginado cohete para seguidamente hablar de la soledad del espacio.

En este caso, Bunbury ha tomado estas típicas referencias espaciales para ilustrar la añoranza que siente por cierta mujer, la llamada Lady Blue. Otra interpretación podría ser que Lady Blue es en realidad un nombre clave para hablar del propio espacio, del mismo modo que los pescadores y marineros tratan del mar como mujer.

Forma parte de su album Flamingos, es el tercer álbum de estudio del músico español Enrique Bunbury.
