anyone else have multiple traumatic memories associated specifically with holidays/family vacations? because that is a topic I never see discussed in all the So You Had A Shitty Childhood, Now What? self-help books i've been reading. but for me, it was a significant thing. and the more i think about it the more it seems like this would be an (unfortunately) common experience. would be grateful to hear if this matches other peoples' experiences...
The fact that most European companies treat their non-European employees like shit- despite the fact that Western Europeans enjoy the highest level of workers' rights in the world- just because they can get away with it in the United States or whatever is proof why regulations are needed.
European workers are only treated better than their American counterparts because there are laws protecting them, not because European corporations are so much more humanitarian than American companies. Never forget that under capitalism companies will exploit you for all you're worth and all they can legally get away with.
"It is illegal for an employer to discriminate based upon disability! So if you have no excuse if you are unemployed!"

Not an ask exactly, but I just finished the Faun comic, and I wanted to say thank you!
Your comics are wonderful! Your art style and method of storytelling make for very compelling and uplifting reads. There have been more than a few times they've picked me up on a rough day; they just fill my heart with warm fuzzies and my eyes with the mistiest kind of happiness!
Thanks so so much (again, haha), and I really appreciate what you give to us!
I hope you are having a lovely day!
Thank you so much for the kind words! It can be hard dealing with the fact sometimes that I can spend months on a comic that gets four thousand notes only for a funny story I wrote up in less twenty minutes to get twenty thousand. But asks like this remind me that I make comics for people like you, who really cherish them.
a while back my mom discovered that the owner of the company was stealing basically all of the money that he was supposed to submit for things like 'taxes' and 'health insurance' and 'court-mandated payments' for the employees, listing them on the pay stubs but then pocketing the money to help keep the company afloat
she then made sure that everybody in the company knew, submitted her resignation effective immediately, and spent about the next week calling government offices to report every crime, regulatory violation, and breach of employment contract that she could think of. and now it looks like the series of investigations that she kicked off might be the thing that finally destroys this man's company.

2 of my little cousins (14yrs and 15yrs) are both girls dating boys right now, and together we are coming up with a "dealbreaker list" of things they will never put up with from their bfs! and also we are including positives, like so they aren't just looking for the absence of bad things, but actual positive things
what do yall think are the most important things to add? (i put extra info in tags)
every so often I make the mistake of looking up anything related to single moms online thinking I'll find something written by other children of single moms who love their mothers and am inevitably shocked to see that the hatred of women runs so deep that it's directed to the people who stayed with their families
