Tutankhamun's meteoric iron dagger,
Also known as Tutankhamun's iron dagger and King Tut's dagger, is an iron-bladed dagger from the tomb of the ancient Egyptian Pharaoh Tutankhamun (reigned c. 1334–1325 BC).
As the blade Composition and homogeneity closely correlate with meteorite composition and homogeneity, the material for the blade is determined to have originated by way of a meteoritic landing.
Since the 1960s, the high nickel content in the blade has been accepted as indicative of meteoric origin. A more recent study published in June 2016 derived from x-ray fluorescence spectrometer analysis show that the blade's composition is mostly iron (Fe) and 11% nickel (Ni) and 0.6% cobalt (Co). This means its composition is placed within the median of a group of 76 previously discovered iron meteorites.
The nickel content in the bulk metal of most iron meteorites ranges from 5% to 35%, whereas it never exceeds 4% in historical iron artifacts from terrestrial ores produced before the 19th century.
Also, the nickel to cobalt ratio of this blade is comparable to that of iron meteorite materials.[2]
At the time of King Tutankhamun's mummification in approximately 1323 BC (the Bronze Age), iron smelting and manufacture were rare. Iron objects were used for only artistic, ornamental, ritual, gift giving, and ceremonial purposes as well as for pigmentation. Hence, iron during this age was more valuable or precious than gold.
The dagger is currently displayed at the Egyptian Museum in Cairo

I'm a firm defender of Arkham being terrible. The worst place on Earth. This place is clearly making everyone worse.
Give me Jonathan Crane loving how cruel and lax one could get with the "patients" at Arkham as he tested his toxin only for him to realize that the same "treatment" would be gave to him as he is finally caught by Batman. Jonathan who was one of the doctors who signed authorizing eletroshock "therapy" because he didn't care either way only for years later see himself being dragged to the eletroconvoulsive room.
Give me Harvey Dent trying to use his lawyer knowledge to protect himself and his friends by mentioning how solitary confinament against mentally ill people is not allowed on the state of New Jersey only for the guards/doctors to smile cruely and say "oh but this isn't solitary confinament it is *insert buzzword for solitary confinament that makes it legal*"(and yes prisons do that irl).
Harley painfully trying to explain both as doctor and as patient that inhumane treatment of inmates was scietifically proven to only make them more violent only to be ignored because "don't the guards deserve revenge" or some similar bullshit.
Ivvy who just wants her plants. Who gets physically sick when she can't get close to the green. But she can't have even sunshine because they specially discriminate against metahumans. And what if she uses her powers? Same for Music Maister except is worse because it is his voice! They even take Freezes suit away the first times but when they realize he will just die he just gets an special room that is basically temperature zero solitary but don't worry is for his own good.
All while doing human experimentation with Clayface because he is a meta anyway and honestly does he even count as human? And of course let's not forget Killer Croc that gets to be arrested in a cell on the fucking sewers. Yes it does not have basic sanitation whatsoever and yes Waylon deserves better.
Jervis who gets punished for daring saying they have no respect for the human mind. And King Tut who is mocked for his delusions instead of helped in any way.
Joker who spends more time in solitary than with actual people to the point is very likely that he was actually sane before Arkham and just an evil clown.
Riddler who spends most of his stay just drugged out of his mind because he talks to much and both the nurses and the guards find him annoying and isn't the silence best for everyone? And if him (or anyone who is reciving too much medication or the wrong meds) gets an addiction, well is not their problem.
And of course the more important part: Bruce who has no clue what is happening until Joan Leland enters the picture and contacts him for help because it doesn't matter if they are all criminals they are people and she is going to do her job (and Bruce Wayne is the only donor that cares). Cue to an horrifyied Bruce questioning his former stance on crime and getting ready to help make Gotham a place were rehabilitation is truly possible.

King Tut made his first appearance in the Batman episode that aired on April 13, 1966. King Tut was the first villian completely created for the show. While Zelda the Great was technically a new character, her story completely mirrored a comic starring a different villian. ("The Curse of Tut", Batman, TV event)

The thing that really gets me about humanity is the kindness that follows tragedy and coming together as a community and loving each other
When the Titanic sank, the Carpathia raced to provide any help they could. They didn't have to, certainly, no one expected them to, but they did
and when the Mont Blanc exploded in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada one man Patrick Coleman went back to his post to warn the railways to stop the trains preventing hundreds from dying
on 9/11 there were 38 planes that had nowhere to land so the Air traffic controllers had them land in Canada in a small town called Gander and all the people there banded together to provide shelter and food for all the 6,000+ passengers on the planes
in a small town in Minnesota, USA 20 people lined up to give CPR to a man who had had a heart attack until paramedics could arrive and saved his life because of it
thousands of years ago somebody cared for a person who had broken their leg, which would usually be a fatal injury, and nursed them back to health
every tragedy has a kindness in it, people helping others in the face of loneliness, desperation, and destruction
and then there is the kindness we show when no huge tragedy has happened but life has happened instead
An adult in the time of King Tut made in him a tunic with ducks on it and a chest with ducks and sandals and earrings with ducks because he loved them so much
people take time out of their day to help an old person cross the street
chasing after somebody because they dropped something and you are trying desperately to return it
leaving food for homeless people
caring for others through an illness
and then there is the community
humans banding together
singing together, a sad tragic song and making it happy and soothing because they are singing it together
humans coming together to let someone buy back their farm at auction
helping one another, being kind and loving each other in the face of tradegy and despair this is what it means to be human

The Best of Batman!!!
Here’s my guide of the best Batman stories in film and TV.
I’m going the skip the theatrical serials because they are terrible and racist.
So that means our first example is
The 1966 TV Series
Tumblr media
This series is a comedy that often made direct adaptations of comic book stories of the day. The reasoning being that the comic stories were so absurd that adapting them straight from the page would be perfect for yuks. Ironically despite making fun of the source material, this means that it’s also one of the most straightforward and accurate adaptations of the adventures of the Caped Crusader.
Most stories are at least two parts so for each I’ll name all the episodes that encompass them separated by a “/“.
Hi Diddle Riddle/Smack in the Middle
Batman is set up by the Riddler and is in danger of being forced to reveal his secret identity in court. But what is the riddler’s real plan?
The Joker is Wild/Batman is Riled
The Joker is tired of being bested by Batman and decides to create a utility belt of his own!
Instant Freeze/Rats Like Cheese
Batman must deal with his guilt over causing mad scientist Mr Freeze to be cursed with a condition that means he can’t survive outside of subzero temperatures. Meanwhile Freeze himself plots his revenge.
The Joker Goes to School/He Meets His Match the Grisly Ghoul
The Joker plots to corrupt the youth of Gotham by giving them free lunch. Batman must teach the children about the magic of capitalism. (Yes this is satire).
The Curse of Tut/The Pharaoh’s in a Rut
A man convinced he is actually the reincarnation of the ancient Pharoah Tut, goes on a crime spree, and forces Batman to dance!!!
The Movie
The Joker, The Penguin, the Riddler, and even Catwoman team up to make a bid for world domination.
Hot off the Griddle/The Cat and the Fiddle
Catwoman disguises herself as a senior citizen to perpetrate the purrrrfect crime.
Hizzoner the Penguin/Dizzoner the Penguin
The Penguin and Batman campaign against each other in a race for mayor of Gotham.
Surfs Up, Joker’s Under
The Joker and Batman compete in a surfing competition.
The Funny Feline Felonies/The Joke’s on Catwoman
Catwoman and the Joker team up to hunt for treasure. Catwoman knows it’s likely they’ll be caught, but she has the best lawyer in the business on her side.
Return of the Caped Crusaders
An animated reunion film made many years after the show went off the air. All of Batman’s enemies team up to defeat Batman by undoing his very being!
More in Part 2…

“Even more unfortunate were the two infant daughters of Tutankhamun and Ankhesenamun, neither of whom lived to see the light of day. As Carter was clearing the Treasury, he came across a simple, undecorated wooden box, with no docket or inscription. Inside were two tiny coffins, and each held a second coffin. Inside each of the inner coffins was a tiny mummified body. Both were simply labeled as “Osiris” (meaning ‘deceased’), suggesting that the babies were stillborn. Modern examination of the mummies using a CT scanner has revealed details of their short, tragic lives. One baby had been seven months in the womb and still had its umbilical cord attached. Its sex could not be established with certainty, but it is likely to have been female. Though the little girl was not a full-term birth, she had been provided with a funerary mask of gilded cartonnage. The second baby was definitely a girl, and nearly full-term; a short length of umbilical cord remained, suggesting she died during or immediately after birth. The two stillborn daughters of the boy pharaoh and his young wife marked the end of the eighteenth dynasty royal line. As Carter remarked, “Had one of those babes lived, there might never have been a Rameses”.
Tutankhamun's Trumpet: Ancient Egypt in 100 Objects from the Boy-King's Tomb - Toby Wilkinson
Since their discovery, the girls have been examined, x-rayed and CT scanned multiple times. Initially it was thought that the near full time child (on the right) suffered from congenital abnormalities or birth defects, but more recent testing doesn’t agree with this. Sadly, time and extensive handling have not been kind to these baby girls, whose condition has severely deteriorated in the 100 years since their father’s tomb was discovered.
