BACKSTORY

Eleanor is the third child and only daughter of King Simon and Queen Helena. Her older brother, Robert is three years older than her and her twin brother, Liam. Growing up, she was cherished by her older brother, Robert, and she looked up to him. The twins were always close to each other and looked out for one another when they were young. And, though her relationship with her father was good, her relationship with her mother was contentious to say the least.

As the third child, Eleanor never had the pressure of the throne on her shoulders, so, she was the wild child of the family: partying, drinking, and indulging in more illicit substances. She had a reputation and she played up to it brilliantly.

After Robert was killed in action, she spiraled in her grief and guilt over having been partying when she was meant to call him. This led her to be in a position of being blackmailed by someone who became her bodyguard. He used her to get what he wanted from her, and manipulated her into thinking he genuinely cared.

Unfortunately, it wasn't long after Robert died that her father, the king, was murdered, leaving Liam to become king sooner than any of them expected. This left Eleanor more alone than ever.

Before reading this, please keep in mind that i’m a latina. I have a pretty good level of english, but not the best. I try to give my best writing this although it gets me three times the time that an american girl would.

Be careful of Justin, girls. Seriously. He’s only the baddest news. See…

He knows everything about the royals. I mean… boy said is part of his job to do it but he even knows their schedules and agenda.

He’s also doing other business beside being my press adviser aaaand is being very discret about it

And is pretty obvious that he leaked Tariq’s footage. Justin knew that exposing the video out from nowhere would create chaos in court and distrust in Liam’s power and his decisions. And now that he’s probably about to propose to me (which Constantine thought was the worst that could happen to Cordonia), this feeling in the court will increase.

I really don’t buy that wannabe reporter story. Justin wants to destroy the monarchy and was pretty upset that i agreed to talk it first, giving Madeleine and Liam a chance to do damage control. He even tried to manipulate me with my rivalry with Madeleine in order to achieve it!

Aaaand the prediction that Liam got in Coney Island.

This is obviously the main storyline for TRR 3. Constantine warned us about powerful enemies and it’d be bored if they just happen to be strangers with nothing to do with the plot. But a betrayal and a betrayal that comes out from the already dishonred House Beaumont… is pretty dramatic and makes an interesting plot.

Besides, most of kingdom’s enemies scenarios include a well known character betrayal (if you wanna see the post i wrote about it, click here. In The Royals, the show i talk about in there, the infiltrate is spoiler Ted, the Royal Head of Security. He called the order to kill Prince Robert, stabbed King Simon to death and put cameras on the Palace in order to reveal to the entire country the royal family’ scandals. He was slaughtered and killed by a furious mob who found out he was their beloved king’s killer, but that’s for another post)

The monarchy is not in it’s best moment, just remember that Leo quit his reign and one of Liam’s prospects (aka me) was ‘caught’ cheating on him. Justin and his allies will make Liam’s already weak kingdom fall and that will be the next book’s plot. Trying to gain the power again.

To conclude, all i can say is… get yourselfs an inhalator because next weeks’ chapters promise the most dramatic and intense storyline of all TRR.

Half brother to Liam, Eleanor and Robert, firstborn outside of marriage by Simon, he was given up for adoption as Simon had yet not married Helena and he was meant to. He was raised by loving parents. Before the death of his biological father, which he was present over, and in order to beclose to his blood family (he was aware of the fact), he had become a royal guard and wandered around. When his father died, he entered the room, used his power, and kept his father on stasis until things were over and safe.

After that, he came out of the shadows, not allowing his father to die neither come out of the shadows. He tried to take down both, Helena and Cyrus, and once they tried to use Robert to be the one to suplant him, made sure the rights fell on him by proving his relation with his siblings, as well as the paternity of Simon for Eleanor and Liam. Once Robert was taken his kingsly rights, Ronald first came about the truth of their father to Liam and Eleanor and then the country.

He is an inhuman, by mother bloodline. He can control effects, reversing them, that’s how he saved his father, when he was dying, he stabbed him again to heal him. He doesn’t need to be in contact with or presence even, just wish the effect that he wants to happen. He can use this causality control as a form of energy to fire up beams of light controlling the harmless bath of light into a blasting beam of light instead, for instance, or even sound. Anything that apparently seems harmless he can make it harmful. He doesn’t necessary reverse, but control the effect itself, whether for opposites, or for completely random effects.

He is a top.

Favorite Male Character: ROBERT HENSTRIDGE, MY ONE AND ONLY KING. I'd die for him.

Favorite Female Character: ugh, I don't really have one? During s01 I really liked Eleanor and Gemma, then s02 onwards Willow became my fave, but I didn't like her during s04, so... I think Willow, Eleanor and Helena are all great characters, but I don't prefer one over the other atm. (And Cassandra! I loved the 2seconds we had of her on the show.)

Least Favorite Character: I could make a mile-long list and sill wouldn't cover everyone that I hate on this show, but since I can hardly stand seeing her on the screen...Kathryn.

Favorite Ship: pls don't kill me for this, but ever since the show ended Robert x Eleanor is the only dynamic I've been interested in. She totally has a crush on her big brother and Robert is insanely protective of Eleanor and never treats her as disappointment. And yeah, yeah, I'm disgusting for shipping siblings, but that's nothing new.

Favorite Friendship: Again, Robert x Eleanor. Alternatively, Robert x Helena, though I'm still angry over how both of them treated him in the end.

Favorite Quote: "Crowns are for taking. And I'm taking this one."

Worst Character Death (if any): Robert's, lol.

This made me so happy you have no idea Moment: Every time Robert came out on top I popped the champagne. Favorite moment, though, is after he is crowned and he kisses Liam's cheek and says he caused all of this. Damn. I love one overdramatic king.

Saddest Moment: young!Robert playing chess in the rain all alone just tugs at my heartstrings. Simon really fucked-up his first born.

Favorite Location: the palace's gardens.

So I've finally watched the season finale of the royals and as much as the writers want us to hate Robert my stubborn self won't, now don't get me wrong I don't agree with everything he's said and done like calling Kathryn a whore and breaking up Jaspenor but I actually feel bad for him. One of Liam's biggest insecurities was that he wasn't as good as Robert and will never live up to be the perfect son that Robert is in his fathers eyes but alas the truth is that Robert lived in Liam's shadow when it came to their father and honestly when Simon was like "you would never make a great King" to Robert and was like "you're all head and no heart" "why can't you be more like Liam" like you raised him that way he was never given the freedom to just be and feel, the way Liam&Eleanor were allowed to. From the moment he was born it was do this, feel this, don't do this, don't feel that and then Simon was all like "you've learnt everything we've taught you but that's not enough", how is that fair? Simon had all of Roberts life to teach him how to be good and kind but he didn't and his blaming Robert for the path he and Helena put him on. I just feel like there's more to Robert than the villainous bastard they're trying to portray and if given the chance there's a great redemption story here. P.S I'm so excited for Willow and Robert next season and also what's their ship name, Willbert? Robmina? Rillow?

I'm sorry but if the big secret is that Robert was involved in getting his father killed, then that's such a waste of time. What is the point if he was going to succeed him anyway? To start his reign sooner rather than later? That's such a rushed and ridiculous storyline if that's the twist.
