Hideo: canonically oxford not changing that

Hammie: UT Austin

Tremaine: some school in the UK. But if American school (hypothetically) Cal tech. He’s smart

But average would be like Virginia Tech or sum top 100 tech school

Roshan: Cambridge? Or some other prestigious college in the UK He’s from a well off background.

118. Hideo went to visit Kenn once in prison. Stared at him, while Kenn talked about all of his (Hideo’s) crime. He left without a word. When Emika asked why, he said he need to see for himself that his best friend really had betrayed him.

Emika: Is there a word between sad and mad?

Hideo: Desolated, disgruntled, malcontented...

Kenn: Smad

Kenn: I made a marshmallow Hideo. See? His arms are crossed because he’s mad at the other marshmallows for annoying him. Do you like it?

Hideo [tearing up]: It’s okay.

"You must've been busy since the opening ceremony party," I say to Hideo. My eyes dart briefly to Kenn. "Am I interrupting some business?" "You are the business," Kenn replies. "We were just talking about you." "Oh." I clear my throat. "Good things, I hope." Kenn grins. "I'd say so."

i can  actually think of multiple scenarios: one with kaz as hideo and inej as emika. the kaz/hideo part would totally fit (jordie as sasuke/zero) but i just can’t  see kanej in the form of hideo x emika. kenn=per haskell?

however, matthias and nina as hideo and emika could fit as well. matthias may not as similar to hideo tanaka as kaz but it would fit lol (kenn is jarl brum)

bonus for the ninej/emijax shippers: wildcard but nina is emika and inej is jax and they run off together leaving matty behind :’)

wylan and jesper could fit as zero and jax in another scenario, i’m not sure. van eck is taylor.

Reasons Hideo Tanaka reminds me of VIXX's Leo

Hideo Tanaka is a character in the book Warcross by Mary Lu that I am reading and there are new things in each chapter that remind me of Leo 😂. So I am making a list

Piercing stare that scares people

Straight face that rarely shows emotions

When emotions show its a smirk after someone has sassed him or he us laughing at them for being stupid 😂

Has a friend named Kenn (yes Kenn) who swears he isn't as mean as he seems and his friend is super nice like Ken so maybe Keo is in this book 🤷🏻

He is a boxer and as we all know so is leo

Totally comes off as an ass but is super caring and sweet later 😂

He is a fucking flirt who knows what he is doing but pretends not and goes back to his normal aloof attitude. Making him both endearing and frustrating as hell.

He has a star cuff link, you know for Starlights 😉

Super nice to children and animals. Absolutely adores them becomes different person around them 😂

Book Review:

Spoiler free review: Warcross is a virtual life that alters your reality with it still being there in front of you but adding details, such as people’s levels in the game, plant names and animations. Warcross also entails a tournament season of the game. This game is a whole big deal set in Tokyo. The tournament games are in domes, there are even real life opening parties. Hideo Tanka is the creator of Warcross and he hires Emika Chen who is an 18 year old girl living in New York city, 3 months behind on rent, 6 thousand dollars in credit card debt and her father no longer alive, she is living a rough life. She is a bounty hunter and a waitress, as well as a really good hacker. She hacks into the first Warcross game before the tournaments hoping to make money and when she goes to steal a powerup she ends up being put into the game where everyone can see her, including Hideo. He takes interest in her, pays off her debts, offers her 10 million dollars for the bounty hunt and flies her to Tokyo to be his bounty hunter for a hacker he is trying to track down (called Zero). She is not the only bounty hunter that he has hired for this. Hideo makes her a wild card which means she will be playing Warcross tournaments to make her closer to Zero. SPOLIER: OH MY- This book took a complete different direction than what I had expected. But to start out, the creativity that Marie Lu put into this is amazing, the NeuroLink contact lenses (which at first was cool to me but now NO), the action during the games and the dark world gave me goosebumps. At the end for some reason I thought maybe Kenn was zero because how weird he seemed to me but knowing that it was Hideo's brother and that he is trying to stop Hideo from HIS plan to control people’s minds is INSANE. This second book can’t come soon enough-I have high high hopes for it
