Hello, I've only known about your blog for the past two hours or so, but I want to thank you for providing us with some of the most detailed and fluent critical analyses of media I've ever read. Your posts are not only a joy to read, but have really made me rethink about some of my own perceptions and intentions with my art and just art in general. Thank you for that as well, I will absolutely be sticking around for more essays. Not only because they are fun to read and thought provoking, but unlike Medrano, I actually want to learn how to make my art meaningful, interesting, and communicative of myself. I might feel like I'll never get to that point, but at least I can confidently say I'll never be as repulsive as Vivenne Medrano when it comes to my art, and as a person.

Thank you so much Simply. I sometimes feel like I fail to explain myself adequately, which is inevitable when posts are so long. The Anti-Bojack post came out to 9 pages and I still feel I could have written more or been more thorough in my points at places.

I think, as long as you are willing to learn, you have already made so much progress. The one thing that has always helped me find meaning in my work has been giving myself a scenario and then asking "Why".

I am a fan of Media Video Essayists and may one day take these posts and actually turn them into a script and do all the editing and such to make a video about these topics, since videos go so much farther than blog posts, but I have a few I highly recommend in terms of writing and storytelling dissections:

How these people explain storytelling, art, psychology, and even history is so compelling and clear. Far better than anything I have done. I remember things from these videos while writing that are so well articulated that there just isn't any other way to say them.

Obviously they deserve proper credit.

【送別 Farewell Part I】

To say goodbye to Amy on last Sunday night - gave a farewell, so we went to the harbor side to eat street foods - stinky tofu and Taiwanese ice cream (This's a common happiness but she will not see all in NZ, that's why we chose this way goodbye ) and watched the fishermen selling their freshly caught fish. and then took a long long walking around the sea.

週日晚與Amy道別 - 送行，所以我們去海港邊吃街頭小吃-臭豆腐和台灣挫冰，看漁民如何銷售剛捕獲新鮮的魚。這是最尋常的小確幸，但她回到紐西蘭卻無法享受到的。

PS. the short video was : 道教-七爺八爺常見的街頭遊行 Taoism-common street parades of Qi Ye and Ba Ye in Taiwan, Because I was born in a Catholic family, and my grandparents were among the few Catholics in China at time; so I was not used to being close to Chinese Taoist temples. To be honest, you will feel the fire of the magnetic fields colliding, and my spirit must be ready very humble, so in addition to visiting art and culture, I almost kept my rebellion away from Taoist temples. :))) Lan~*

I think I was a bit too harsh. It's true that if you have no pace, strategy will not help much.

Wonder what is wrong with the pitstops. Sometimes it's something they actually know about. Like parts they cannot change that are on the limit. They rarely share info about structural weaknesses though.

People wake up from time to time feeling as if they haven’t slept well. They may not know why they feel that way.It is important to know that a bad mood can be caused by many things. Sometimes we know that a bad mood is caused by a particular situation or a combination of many different things. You may have days when you wake up feeling down, but it’s more often than not you will wake up to a bad day.

Oddly enough, experiments show that everything tends to prove you right. This is because people usually expect things to go as expected. If you have a bad day at work, it’s probably not worth complaining about it to your friends. You may have to deal with a series of unfortunate events that serve to confirm a bad day. It can be a real struggle to deal with an unhappy day.People can do with some understanding. When someone we care about is hurting, it is important to reach out to them and give them a hug.Our thoughts and actions have the power to alter the course of our life.

This is because our thoughts and actions create our reality.By acting on us, the reality around us also changes. Other people, places, and things change as a result of our actions.When I changed my view of situations I used to be bothered by, I noticed that instead of being bothered by them in a negative way, I found myself excited by them. During the day, I received many small signals that the law of attraction was working.I had heard of the wizards before, but had no idea that you could buy a magical wand. I was really intrigued by the idea of magic and wanted to try it out, so I ordered one.

I first noticed this effect at the age of six and have used it to make money, impress my boyfriend and win awards. Try it yourself! I never questioned how, I never doubted that the thing I desired or needed would come.It is important to give yourself a moment when you need to relax and remind yourself that everything is okay. If you need to relax, think of something that is positive.I like to think that the universe is a catalogue from which we can choose. Many of us received a religious upbringing where we were often told, “Ask and you shall receive”.

There are many other philosophies and religions that in different ways teach the same thing, and there are many people from the past who have shown how even under unfavourable conditions,

The lives of people who have made a positive impact on the world have an important role to play in changing the way the world sees the world, and how the world sees the community.I could not believe the changes I experienced when I started to think in a different way. It is a good idea to think of the things you don’t want and avoid repeating them.

My approach to life has changed.Today I am much more positive, optimistic and smiling. I face life with a more positive attitude and I am honest with myself about who I am.Good things should be shared and if it worked for me and continues to work, anyone can do it.I have personally experienced the law of attraction in the positive and often for other people too.

I know that it works. I have seen how it has changed my life. I always keep in mind that wanting is power. I have seen how asking for what I want has made a great difference to the quality of my life and the lives of many others.
