Playing an emotional video game with the Genshin Men

A/N: Managed to squeeze a short and sweet Indie game (that hit me in my feels) into my busy schedule at the moment and now I can't stop thinking about playing Games with an emotional story with the Genshin men... There aren't many men included in this brainrot because this was just a random shower thought. I could throw it on my WIP pile and flesh it out at some point if you want.

Neuvillette would put his arm around your shoulder while you start crying over what is going on in the game. And while he wouldn't outwardly cry it suddenly starts pouring outside.

Alhaitham would be surprised to suddenly see tears streaming down your face as you're playing the game. He isn't sure how he should react or console you. He would hesitantly lift a hand and begins stroking your back and put your head on his shoulder in silence.

Kaveh watched you play the entire time and gets heavily invested in the game as well. So when the emotional scene comes up you're both just bawling together on the couch. He's definitely the type of guy who would discuss everything about the game in depth with you later on.

Wriothesley starts massaging your scalp with his free hand as he watches you play. And he doesn't want to admit it but the game too hit him into the feels. So he attempts to hide his face from your field of view and blinks some tears away, while being your shoulder to cry on.

QSMP Actors AU where Quesadilla Island is the set of a reality TV show, except only the NPCs (and a handful of Islanders) know it's a TV show and the rest of them think it's 100% real.

Quackity knows because he's supposed to help guide the show in a certain direction if things get too chaotic / off-track, but he doesn't know everything the production team has planned.

Phil knows it's not real because he's observant and noticed the cameras & microphones on the first day. The crew lets him do his own thing and break the 4th wall because the audience loves that he's so self-aware.

Vegetta knows it's a TV show because he's been on other famous shows (cough, Karmaland) and he was invited by a member of the team (Rubius). He's under the impression that everyone else knows it's a TV show, but they're super in-character all the time.

Wilbur knows, but also thinks everyone else knows. He's MIA because he and his band had a tour-conflict nobody realized when signing contracts.

Fit knows it's a TV show because a rival production company that does Survival-esque shows (2b2t) sent him to check out their competition.

The crew genuinely doesn't know if Luzu knows or not.

Bad figured out it wasn't real but keeps forgetting because he gets wayyy too in-character.

Maximus knows because he's part of the crew. "Gordinho Gostosiho" is their way of interviewing the stars of the show without them realizing that they're on a TV show within a TV show.

I think it'd be really funny if the Brazilians and French legitimately crash-landed on the Island in the middle of filming and the producers were just like "This is great for numbers, let's leave them there and see what happens." (This would also mean Felps is "in the know" now because he hung out with the crew while he was "kidnapped." He just didn't tell anyone about it when he came back because he thinks it's hilarious).

Does anyone else think it’s fascinating how nicknames develop? Like sometimes a nickname is a logical shortening of a name, sometimes it’s a different part of their name, like a last name or a middle name, and sometimes it’s completely random, manifesting out of a series of twisting inside jokes and memories that is impossible to explain and you’re just like, “Oh yeah, that’s our friend, The Ball, don’t mind him.”

as someone who really struggles to get the image of a character in my head, it's so so important to me that Andrew isn't mischaracterised, like he is an asshole (for valid reason) and people rlly shouldn't shy away from that and try and baby him and ignore the trauma that he's gone through and the way he dealt with it. I think people forget he literally drugged Neil (and Matt) to test that he wouldn't be a problem like that is not some soft-boy type who wouldn't hurt a fly; he isn't afraid to go to any length to do what he believes is the right thing. I think sometimes I get worried about this modern age lack of media literacy where someone can't possibly be a bad person or make mistakes because apparently that means they're either unredeemable or a bad influence (this is so dumb like can we bring back some foul unredeemable villains and have people not try claim that this is bad for us to read?? like use your brain of course this is not intentionally a promotion of such actions?) but humans are nuanced as shit--we-ve all done good and bad stuff, whether or not intentionally--and I think it's important to remember that aspect of Andrew as much as the rest of him ? idk if that makes sense but yeah those are my random thoughts on the matter

(sidenote: it is also important to note that Andrew is obviously allowed to exist without his assholery aka after he's come off his meds but that doesn't automatically make him some shining golden person. it makes him human and real and a product of the things that have happened to him which is not a bad thing)

as someone rightfully said, "jo hoga dekha jayega", has really been adopted well into my life now, i guess.

Husk knew that Alastor made a deal, which implies he was there. Implying that husk might be there for a lot of things that happened with Alastor. And if Alastor and Vox we're friends before and Vox has a crush on Alastor. It would make sense that the crush was obvious to everyone except Alastor. So what if Husk (and probably Rosie) realized that Vox had a crush on Alastor and were just enjoying watching what was happening.

the first few times eddie & steve share a bed, it’s shoved under the rug—hidden beneath the guise of “safety.” they’ll crack open one too many beers from steve’s dad’s stash and end up with the spins. often saying a lot of things they probably shouldn’t as they lay parallel to each other on the carpet. eventually dragging themselves up to steve’s bed to become a tangle of yearning limbs, sharing a kiss or two along the way. it’s okay if they do. it’s just part of the routine. they know its best to pretend they’ve forgotten about the taste of each other’s lips once the sun rises. it doesn’t matter that deep down they both want more and can’t quite figure out how to say it out loud.

so, it’s no surprise that when steve calls to say he’s run out of alcohol before their next “hang out,” eddie brings a six pack along with him. and maybe it has something to do with the way steve’s laughing at all of eddie’s jokes or the fact that they’ve been meaning to start their movie for the past hour, but can’t stop running their mouths about this and that. lost in conversation and the feel of their arms around each other on the couch. or maybe they’ve just decided it’s time to stop playing make believe and call it what it is. either way, they don’t drink a single sip of beer, choosing to leave the bottles in the corner and getting drunk on stolen touches instead. falling into bed a little past midnight, sober as the moon, and kissing like it’s their last day on earth.

the next morning, they remind each other of the night by finally kissing in the daylight.

But you will get better at being yourself.

In like, 3-4 years, you’re gonna experience and learn and see so much, and you’re gonna grow into yourself in ways you had no idea you were going to.

Someday, dressing the way you want will be easier, talking/laughing/singing will be easier, you’ll be funnier without having to work at it so hard, you’re gonna figure out what you like and don’t like, you’re gonna be good at That Thing that u wanna be good at, you’re gonna be able to try the stuff u wanna try, learn the stuff u wanna learn and experiment with your personality and style and while you won’t “find yourself” in 3-4 years you’re gonna get a good start. And yeah, you may hate your smile, your laugh, your haircut, and your circumstances right now, but one day you will wake up in a world that you created, that’s specific to YOU and YOUR dreams and you’re gonna think damn. I’m actually fine as hell. You will love you.

Growing up will get easier and more fun-it’s supposed to be awkward and weird right now. You’re doing it absolutely right <3

What if Asa has completely forgot what his father did and that is why he listens to the radio at the end of The Collection because they were talking about what his father did.

And like, by forgetting, I mean that he has blocked it out (a common trauma response). He doesn't remember it happening, and by listening to reports about the incident, he hopes that it will unblock the memories.

Maturing is realizing that you don't hate the sun

because you're an edgy child of darkness who lurks in the cold nocturnal shadows, but rather, you've been taught to stay away from the sun because eye sensitivity + heat intolerance + sun allergy = ouch and, in addition, the same equation =/= "I don't need vitamin D why would you even suggest the thought".

I do need the sun. I yearn for her nutritious supplements. It's not her fault that I can't stand in directly in her rays for more than 5 minutes without disintegrating. Tortured love etc.
