mini update! 💜
I started playing Sims 4 again! Yay!
(It was because I was about to run out of posts in my queue... but it still counts, right?)
Unfortunately, I'm still having a hard time getting into it, especially when Sims 2 is RIGHT THERE and currently way more appealing. I really love my Disney Sims! I wish I felt differently!
But, on the bright side, I may still have enough posts queued to up the "posts per day" to 4. I'll give it another day or two, hopefully I'll play a bit more.
I also want to shamelessly promote my Sims 2 blog again, 'cause that one's super active! 12 posts per day and still I have a queue that'll last 'til the end of May!

Honestly guys, my own headcanon of Astarion pre-vampirism is that he wasn't evil. He wasn't a nice guy either. Just a run of the mill rich, self righteous, stuck up asshole whose parents likely had some pull in getting him the job of being a Magistrate. Also feel like he was a wine connoisseur and he kinda absentmindedly remembers some things from his past. He describes flavors of them almost like he remembers it.
I do feel like Cazador had something to do with the Gur beating him half to death. Like he wanted him to develop a hatred for them, maybe so he'd never look to them to help set him free?
Astarion does mention Cazador was known for overly complicated planning and we see evidence of this in the Crimson palace. And Tav literally has a line of dialogue that suggests it could be a set up.

Thank you so much for the ask! I think SQOTD is such an amazing idea and I really appreciate you going out of your way to get some conversations going within the community.
1️⃣ I think I'm a mix of storyteller and gameplay blog so I'll answer both. I used to use poses a lot more when playing and telling stories, but now I more or less only use gameplay to influence the story and I find I really enjoy that. It's a lot more freeing than having to find very niche poses to convey the specific idea you have. As for builds, I do everything myself. I'm not a fantastic builder, but I really like it anyway and really like seeing a save file full of my own builds.
2️⃣ Same as above: I build my own houses and yes, additions happen. The way I play, most of my households start out really broke (often with 0 simoleons). The houses start off as a patchwork of rooms, added on as my sims make simoleons. Then after a while, if I have enough simoleons saved, I'll redo the whole house but keep the bones and maybe a bit of the aesthetic. It really depends on how ugly it was to begin with. 😂 The house I built for Bruno and Belle on the old Gateway Peak property where my founders lived when I started my BACC was a complete bulldoze. It looks NOTHING like the original.

y’all being mad over some opinions is killing me… don’t expect NOT to get your writing judged when y/n is literally acting like a child, mindset like a child, & innocence like a child but you try to cover it up by saying “minors dni 🥺🥺!!”
at first y’all were good and the writing was and still is amazing, but each fic it started to get weirder and weirder. atp it feels like a “little” story and that’s okay cus some people like that and some people do cope with that, but just say it 😭. instead of saying “y/n is an adult” yet here she go acting 3 years old… then yall go sending hate comments to the people calling it out 😂.
at the end of the day, you like and write what you wanna write. but if you’re into that little!reader stuff just say it instead of saying she’s an adult who gets pregnant half the time but she’s like an “extreme bimbo who’s innocent” or some shit 💀

Omg, okay— my brain is spiralling. Adam, a washed up punk who plays in a small shitty local band, meets a successful elegant reader. She’s out of his league, that much is obvious.
Adam, desperate for cash to pay for his crappy studio apartment, finds a babysitting ad. The lister is a single mom who needs someone to look after her kid after school. The kid’s six, needs to be picked up after school at 3:45, and mom normally gets home at 10:00. Fuck, seems simple enough.
He calls the number, and sets up a meeting, and damn, he decides he NEEDS this job because this woman is a MILF. (Mom bod included. Adam’s a sucker for curves.)
Adam, by some miracle lands the job, but he’s shit at it. He’s never really liked crotch goblins, they’re sticky and annoying. He just has to make sure the kid doesn’t die, he doesn’t need to treat this rich kid like royalty. He’s picking the kid up in his shitty van, Dewy Finn style, the kid doesn’t need a limo.
“Can you read me a bedtime story?”
“Go read it yourself.” Says Adam, taking advantage of the big screen in the home theatre, his voice muffled with food.
“If you don’t read me a story, I’m telling my mom. Mom says if you’re mean to me I should tell her.” The kid is actually threatening him, and she looks confident that she can get him fired. She probably can.
Adam stares the kid down. He wants to win this battle, but if he’s gonna fuck that MILF, he’s gotta make sacrifices. “Fucking— Jesus, what do you wanna read?”
The kid looks satisfied, a smug smile on her face “Through the looking glass.” A fucking chapter book?! God, rich kids are annoying.
Adam slowly rises to his feet, grunting, unhappy that he has to give up his comfort. “One chapter, brat. Then lights out.”
Suffice to say, he may slowly begin to care for the kid and the weeks roll on. Not that he’d admit that.
(Job ideas include a fashion designer, or CEO of an ambiguous company that I have no ideas for. I’m up for other ideas for jobs.)
