The prophet ﷺ said,

أَوْلَى النَّاسِ بِي يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ أَكْثَرُهُمْ عَلَيَّ صَلَاةً

The closest of the people to me on the Day of Resurrection are those who most often invoked blessings upon me.

Sunnah of Jummah 🕌

1. Cut your nails

2. Read Surah Kahf

3. Take a shower (Ghusl)

4. Wear presentable clothes

5. Use Siwak to clean your teeth

6. Send Salawat to Prophet ﷺ

7. Apply perfume or oud (bhukhoor)

8. Make duas between Asr and Maghrib

9. Listen to khutbah (sermon) attentively

10. Walk to the masjid instead of taking the car

11. Go to the Jumuah prayer as early as possible

عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، قَالَ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم إِذَا خَطَبَ احْمَرَّتْ عَيْنَاهُ وَعَلاَ صَوْتُهُ وَاشْتَدَّ غَضَبُهُ حَتَّى كَأَنَّهُ مُنْذِرُ جَيْشٍ يَقُولُ ‏"‏ صَبَّحَكُمْ وَمَسَّاكُمْ ‏"‏ ‏.‏ وَيَقُولُ ‏"‏ بُعِثْتُ أَنَا وَالسَّاعَةَ كَهَاتَيْنِ ‏"‏ ‏.‏ وَيَقْرُنُ بَيْنَ إِصْبَعَيْهِ السَّبَّابَةِ وَالْوُسْطَى وَيَقُولُ ‏"‏ أَمَّا بَعْدُ فَإِنَّ خَيْرَ الْحَدِيثِ كِتَابُ اللَّهِ وَخَيْرُ الْهُدَى هُدَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَشَرُّ الأُمُورِ مُحْدَثَاتُهَا وَكُلُّ بِدْعَةٍ ضَلاَلَةٌ ‏"‏ ‏.‏ ثُمَّ يَقُولُ ‏"‏ أَنَا أَوْلَى بِكُلِّ مُؤْمِنٍ مِنْ نَفْسِهِ مَنْ تَرَكَ مَالاً فَلأَهْلِهِ وَمَنْ تَرَكَ دَيْنًا أَوْ ضَيَاعًا فَإِلَىَّ وَعَلَىَّ ‏"‏ ‏.‏ صحيح مسلم حديث ٨٦٧

Jabir b. Abdullah said: When Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) delivered the sermon, his eyes became red, his voice rose, and his anger increased so that he was like one giving a warning against the enemy and saying: "The enemy has made a morning attack on you and in the evening too." He would also say: "The Last Hour and I have been sent like these two." And he would join his forefinger and middle finger; and would further say: "The best of the speech is embodied in the Book of Allah, and the best of the guidance is the guidance given by Muhammad. And the most evil affairs are their innovations; and every innovation is error." He would further say:, I am more dear to a Muslim even than his self; and he who left behind property that is for his family; and he who dies under debt or leaves children (in helplessness), the responsibility (of paying his debt and bringing up his children) lies on me." قَوْلُهُ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بُعِثْتُ أَنَا وَالسَّاعَةُ كَهَاتَيْنِ قَالَ الْقَاضِي يَحْتَمِلُ أَنَّهُ تَمْثِيلٌ لِمُقَارَبَتِهَا وَأَنَّهُ لَيْسَ بَيْنَهُمَا إِصْبَعٌ أُخْرَى كَمَا أَنَّهُ لَا نَبِيَّ بَيْنَهُ وَبَيْنَ السَّاعَةِ وَيَحْتَمِلُ أَنَّهُ لِتَقْرِيبِ مَا بَيْنَهُمَا مِنَ الْمُدَّةِ وَأَنَّ التَّفَاوُتَ بَيْنَهُمَا كَنِسْبَةِ التَّفَاوُتِ بَيْنَ الْإِصْبَعَيْنِ تَقْرِيبًا لَا تَحْدِيدًا قَوْلُهُ إِذَا خَطَبَ احْمَرَّتْ عَيْنَاهُ وَعَلَا صَوْتُهُ وَاشْتَدَّ غَضَبُهُ كَأَنَّهُ مُنْذِرُ جَيْشٍ يُسْتَدَلُّ بِهِ عَلَى أَنَّهُ يُسْتَحَبُّ لِلْخَطِيبِ أَنْ يُفَخِّمَ أَمْرَ الْخُطْبَةِ وَيَرْفَعَ صَوْتَهُ وَيُجْزِلَ كَلَامَهُ وَيَكُونَ مُطَابِقًا لِلْفَصْلِ الَّذِي يَتَكَلَّمُ فِيهِ مِنْ تَرْغِيبٍ أَوْ تَرْهِيبٍ وَلَعَلَّ اشْتِدَادَ غَضَبِهِ كَانَ عِنْدَ إِنْذَارِهِ أَمْرًا عَظِيمًا وَتَحْدِيدِهِ خَطْبًا جَسِيمًا قَوْلُهُ وَيَقُولُ أَمَّا بَعْدُ فِيهِ اسْتِحْبَابُ قَوْلِ أَمَّا بَعْدُ فِي خُطَبِ الْوَعْظِ وَالْجُمُعَةِ وَالْعِيدِ وَغَيْرِهَا وَكَذَا فِي خُطَبِ الْكُتُبِ الْمُصَنَّفَةِ وَقَدْ عَقَدَ الْبُخَارِيُّ بَابًا فِي اسْتِحْبَابِهِ وَذَكَرَ فِيهِ جُمْلَةً مِنَ الْأَحَادِيثِ…. شرح النووي على مسلم

كانَ النَّبيُّ صلَّى اللهُ عليهِ وسلَّم خَطيبًا مُفوَّهًا، ويَتْبعُ في كَلامِه ما يُؤثِّرُ في النَّاسِ، وما يَعِظُهم ويُبشِّرُهم ويُنذِرُهم، وكانَ يَستخدِمُ أدواتِ التَّأثيرِ الخِطابيَّةِ؛ مِن رَفعِ الصَّوتِ وخَفضِه، واستِخدامِ حرَكةِ اليَدِ والجسَدِ، وغيرِ ذلك، ممَّا يَنبغي للخُطباءِ الاقتِداءُ بهِ فيه.

وفي هذا الحَديثِ يُخبِرُ جابرُ بنُ عبدِ اللهِ رَضِي اللهُ عنهما بما كانَ يَفعَلُه النَّبيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم في خُطبةِ الجُمعةِ؛ فيُخبِرُ أنَّه إذا خطَبَ في النَّاسِ، وذكَّرهم بالوعدِ والوعيدِ والأمرِ والنَّهيِ »احمرَّتْ عَيناهُ»، أي: اشتَدَّت حُمرتُهما على ما كانت عليه في العادةِ، »وعَلا صَوتُهُ، واشتدَّ غضَبُه»، وهذا يَعني أنَّه كانَ يَتفاعَلُ مع مَوضوعِ الخُطبَةِ، فيَحدُثُ له هذا، ويعني بشِدَّةِ الغضَبِ أنَّ صِفتَه صِفةُ الغَضبانِ، ويَحتمِلُ أنَّه لِم��ّا ثبَتَ مِن بعضِهم مُخالَفةُ أمرِه ونَهيهِ، وتَقصيرُ بعضِهم، وهكذا تكونُ صِفةُ الواعظِ مُطابِقةً للذي هو يَتكلَّمُ فيه؛ حتَّى لا يَأمُرَ بشَيءٍ وضدُّه ظاهرٌ عليه، »حتَّى كأنَّه مُنذِرُ جَيشٍ»، وهذا كنايةٌ عن عُلوِّ صَوتِه صلَّى اللهُ عليهِ وسلَّم فيهم، ومُنذِزُ الجَيشِ هو: مَن يُراقِبُ العدوَّ ويُخبِرُ النَّاسَ بأَحوالِه ليَستعِدُّوا، فكانتْ عِظَةُ النَّبيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم على هذه الصُّورَةِ، وذلكَ مِن حِرصِه على النَّاسِ، وإنذارِهِم مِنَ الآخرَةِ وعدمِ الاستِعداد لها، فكأنَّه يُحذِّرُهم مِن ظُهورِ جَيشٍ عادٍ علَيهِم يَأتي إلَيهِم صَباحًا أو مَ��اءً. وكان ممَّا يقولُه صلى الله عليه وسلم في خُطَبِه: «بُعِثتُ أنا والسَّاعةُ كهاتَينِ، ويَقْرُنُ بيْن إصبعَيهِ: السَّبَّابةِ والوُسْطى»، يعني أنَّ ما بيْن زمانِ النَّبيِّ صلَّى اللهُ عليهِ وسلَّم ومَجيءِ يومِ القِيامةِ قَريبٌ كقُربِ السَّبَّابةِ مِن الوُسطى، فهوَ آخِرُ الأَنبياءِ بيْن يدَي السَّاعَةِ، ولذا فهوَ مِن عَلاماتِ قُربِ السَّاعَةِ صلَّى اللهُ عليهِ وسلَّم، فلمْ يَبْقَ بعْدَ بَعثتِه إلَّا وقْتٌ أقلُّ ممَّا مَضى على قِيامِ السَّاعَةِ. أمَّا عندَ بِدايَةِ الخُطبَةِ فكانَ يَقولُ: «أمَّا بعدُ» وهي كَلمةٌ يُفصَلُ بها بيْن الكَلامينِ عندَ إرادةِ الانتقالِ مِن كَلامٍ إلى غيرِه، والمعنى: أقولُ بعدَ ما تَقدَّمَ مِن التَّشهُّدِ والثَّناءِ على اللهِ سُبحانه وتعالَى، «فإنَّ خيرَ الحَديثِ كتابُ اللهِ» فما مِن كَلامٍ إلَّا وكَلامُ اللهِ خيرٌ منهُ، والمقصودُ بكلامِ اللهِ القُرآنُ الكَريمُ، «وخيرَ الهدْيِ هَدْيُ مُحمَّدٍ»، والهدْيُ هوَ السِّيرَةُ والسَّمتُ، فما مِن اتِّباعِ طَريقٍ وسَبيلٍ إلَّا وطَريقُ النَّبيِّ خيرٌ مِنهُ، فيَجِبُ اتِّباعُ طَريقِه وسِيرتِه وسَمتِه؛ مِن التَّوحيدِ والأحكامِ والعباداتِ، «وشرَّ الأُمورِ»، أي: أقبَحَ الأُمورِ الدِّينيَّةِ لا الدُّنيويَّة «مُحدثاتُها»، أي: مُخترعاتُها ومُبتدعاتُها الَّتي ليْس لها في الشَّريعةِ أصلٌ يَشهَدُ لها بالصِّحَّةِ والجَوازِ، وهي المُسمَّاةُ بالبِدَعِ، «وكلَّ بِدعَةٍ ضَلالةٌ»، أي: وكلَّ اختراعٍ في الدِّينِ مِن كَيفيَّةٍ لم يَفعَلْها النَّبيُّ صلَّى اللهُ عليهِ وسلَّم وأصحابُه، فهيَ ضَلالٌ ومَيلٌ وبُعْدٌ عن طَريقِ النَّبيِّ صلَّى اللهُ عليهِ وسلَّم، وليسَتْ مِن الهُدى والرَّشادِ الَّذي جاءَ بِهِ. ومِن خُطَبِه صلى الله عليه وسلم أنَّه قال: «أنا أَولى بكلِّ مُؤمِنٍ مِن نَفسِه»، أي: أحقُّ النَّاسِ به في كلِّ شَيءٍ مِن أُمورِ الدُّنيا والآخرةِ، كما في قَولِ اللهِ تعالَى: {النَّبِيُّ أَوْلَى بِالْمُؤْمِنِينَ مِنْ أَنْفُسِهِمْ} [الأحزاب: 6]؛ فهو أَرْأَفُ الخلْقِ بهم، وأنفُسُهم تَدْعوهم إلى الهَلاكِ، وهو صلَّى اللهُ عليهِ وسلَّم يَدْعوهم إلى النَّجاةِ. وأخبَرَ صلَّى اللهُ عليهِ وسلَّم: أنَّ مَن مات مِن المسلمينَ وله مالٌ، فإنَّ وَرَثَتَه وعَصَبتَه -أي: أقاربَه الوارثينَ- أَوْلَى بهذا المالِ يَأخُذونه مِيراثًا، ومَن كان عليه دَينٌ أو ترَكَ ضَيَاعًا -وهمُ الأولادُ الصِّغارُ والزَّوْجةُ ومَن لا يَستطيعُ القيامَ بأمرِ نفْسِه- فإنَّ النَّبيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم أَوْلَى النَّاسِ به؛ يَسُدُّ دَيْنَه، ويَعُولُ مَن تَرَك مِن أولادِه ونِسائِه، وهذا مِن حُسْنِ أَخلاقِ النَّبيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم ومُؤازرتِه للمُسلِمينَ وحِرصِه على عدَمِ ضَياعِهم. وفي روايَةٍ: «كانتْ خُطبةُ النَّبيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم يومَ الجُمُعَةِ يَحمَدُ اللهَ ويُثني علَيهِ»، أي: يَبْدؤها بالحمْدِ والثَّناءِ، وممَّا أُثِرَ عن النَّبيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم في خُطبةِ الحاجةِ الَّتي علَّمَها النَّبيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم لأَصحابِه، هيَ أنْ يقولَ: «إنَّ الحمدَ للهِ، نَحمَدُه ونَسْتعينُه، مَن يَهدِهِ اللهُ فلا مُضلَّ لهُ، ومَن يُضلِلْ فلا هاديَ له، وأشهَدُ أنْ لا إلهَ إلَّا اللهُ وحْدَهُ لا شَريكَ له، وأنَّ مُحمَّدًا عبدُهُ ورَسولُهُ». وهذا الحَمدُ والثَّناءُ يَصِحُّ في بِدايةِ كلِّ خُطبةٍ. وفي الحَديثِ: الحثُّ على اتِّباعِ هدْيِ النَّبيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم في الخُطبةِ. وفيه: تَنبيهُ الخَطيبِ إلى التَّفاعُلِ معَ الخُطبةِ للتَّأثيرِ في النَّاس. وفيه: البِدايةُ بالحَمدِ والثَّناءِ على اللهِ في الخُطبةِ. الدرر السنية

The 12 Sunnah Prayers

the Holy Prophet ﷺ offered extra rakaats of prayer in addition to those of the 5 fard (obligatory) prayers. these prayers are called sunnah prayers. offering sunnah prayers are incredibly encouraged - almost to the point of necessity. below, in purple, show each of the sunnah's alongside the 5 daily prayers.

sunnah - 2 rakaats before FAJR - 2 rakaats

sunnah - 4 rakaats before ZUHR - 4 rakaats sunnah - 2 rakaats after

ASR - 4 rakaats

MAGHRIB - 3 rakaats sunnah - 2 rakaats

ISHAA - 4 rakaats sunnah - 2 rakaats

may Allah سُبْحَٰنَهُۥ وَتَعَٰلَىٰ make it easy for us all to follow the ways of our beloved Prophet ﷺ and offer the sunnah prayers alongside our 5 daily prayers, Allahumma Ameen.

Ramadan Mubarak and thank Allah for giving you life to witness another Ramadan, we are so lucky to get these days again to correct ourselves and to seek forgiveness, the biggest blessing it is even if we don’t realize

It's Friday so make sure to;

1. Give Charity

2. Sent salutations on the Prophet ﷺ

3. Make dua especially in hour before Magrib (Remember our brothers and sisters in your duaa)

4. Read Surah Al-kahf

5. Do ghusl before jummah

6. Arrive for jummah early

Among the most excellent of your days is Friday; so invoke many blessings on me on that day, for your blessing will be submitted to me..
