The beginning of Surah Taha is full of Musa repeating that he was afraid and Allah would reassure him by telling him not to worry because He was with him.
In Surah Al Shuara, when the story of Musa reaches its climax with Bani Israel between the army of Pharaoh and the sea, Musa was the one that called out with confidence, “No, My Lord is with me and He will guide me!” He had already seen time and time again that whoever relies on Allah, Allah makes a way out for him. That no harm could ever touch him without Allah’s permission. That often, the things we’re most afraid of have no real power over us. For Allah has power over them.
When you are placed in situations where you are afraid or carrying burdens you feel are beyond your capacity, know that perhaps Allah is preparing you for something great in your future. Perhaps this is a training period. Perhaps Allah wants you to overcome your fears. Perhaps Allah wants you to see what you are capable of, so that you may be bolder in your future pursuits. The possibilities are endless.
But what is certain is that if Allah has placed you in a situation of fear or difficulty, then know He is with you and will lovingly guide you through it. He only plans to your benefit 🩵

Narrated An-Nu'man ibn Bashir: The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: Supplication (du'a') is itself the worship. (He then recited:) "And your Lord said: Invoke Me, I will respond to you." Hadith Sahih - Sunan Abi Dawud 1479 In-book reference : Book 8, Hadith 64 // Jami` at-Tirmidhi 2969 In-book reference : Book 47, Hadith 21 // Sunan Ibn Majah 3828 In-book reference : Book 34, Hadith 2
Du`a of asking, in which the individual asks Allah, may He be exalted, for that which will benefit him in this world and the hereafter, and to ward off that which would harm him in this world and the hereafter.
Du`a of worship, in which the individual is worshipping Allah, may He be exalted, by doing any kind of worship, in the heart, in his physical actions or in his financial actions. ...
Ibn Rajab said in Fath al-Baari (1/20): You should understand that the original linguistic meaning of Du`a is to ask or seek, so it is asking for what the supplicant wants to get and prefers to attain. Sometimes it is the Du`a of asking of Allah, may He be glorified and exalted, and beseeching Him, such as when the person says “O Allah, forgive me; O Allah, have mercy on me.” And sometimes Du`a is by taking appropriate measures by means of which one may attain what one wants, which is focusing on obeying and worshipping Allah, and remembering Him, and focusing on doing what He loves His slaves to do. This is the true essence of faith.
In Sunan al-Arba‘ah it is narrated from an-Nu‘maan ibn Basheer (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) said: “Du`a is worship.” Then he recited the verse (interpretation of the meaning): “And your Lord says, ‘Call upon Me; I will respond to you.’ Indeed, those who disdain My worship will enter Hell [rendered] contemptible.” [Ghaafir 40:60].
There is no better means by virtue of which Allah grants a person what he likes and wards off what he dislikes than focusing on obeying Allah, worshipping Him and remembering Him. This is the essence of faith, and Allah wards off harm from those who have faith. End quote. for the full Explanation : Islam Q&A

Dear Allah,
Lately, it feels like I am living one nightmare after another. Suffering from one hardship to another. Carrying one pain after another. I have no one but You. No one else hears the thoughts that keep me from getting any sleep. No one else sees the way my gut tenses up, or understands the heaviness in my chest. No one hears the words I wish I could say, or understands me in my silence. Have mercy on me. Grant me ease, for I can ask no one but You. Open doors for me, for no door can open without Your permission. You are over all things powerful, and Your love and mercy can heal even the most damaged hearts.
