Pairing- Poly Bts x Male Reader

Summary- People who didn’t know you would consider you mean. Those who did know you loved you dearly. How does it go when you have to spend the evening with your seven boyfriends and the one guy who gets under your skin.

Warnings: Mentions of violence, reader is considered an asshole.

You wouldn't call yourself spiteful, but you would always give back what you received from people. People who knew you dearly would call you blunt but never rude. You never held back for anyone even when you should. Some would consider you cold, you would agree. Despite your stand off attitude, you pulled seven men who would lay down their lives for you.

Everyone who knew you on a personal level loved you, those who didn't despised you deeply. Assuming you weren't good enough for the seven men, they would act rude to you. You never batted an eye towards these people. They don't know you and they never would. For their sake you would always hope they knew the lines and not to cross them. Man or women it never mattered, your hands were rated E for everyone.

Many tried to get under your skin, none succeeded. There was only one man who would cause your blood to boil. You respected your boyfriends to never cause a scene, he would tempt you though. His name was Jesse although you never referred to him by his name. It was obvious to you and your boyfriends he had a crush on them. They have remained polite, you have remained corral. Jesse watched you like hawk, waiting for anything he could use against you. You've noticed the changes in his style, following yours. His vocabulary beginning to sound a lot like yours.

The boys noticed the changes as well, they were smart enough to ignore the advances. Despite all seven, including Jimin, being taller then you, they knew you could beat them with your eyes closed. They loved you nothing would ever come between that.

Today had been one of those you dreaded, Jesse would be coming over. He played nice in front of you, but you could see his crazy from miles away. Jin had been cuddling with you on the couch while Jimin sat on your lap. Jimin was watching you play games on your phone as he usually does. His legs laid across yours and Jin's as Jin's head laid on your shoulder. The knock on the door moved their attention away for a second, it returned when Yoongi opened the door. You snickered when you heard the greetings. You let a smirk tug your lips when yoongi denied his hug.

You felt his eyes on you, waiting for a greeting which you happily ignored. The two remained in their seats as they greeted him. You could sense his anger at the sight of you three on the couch. Everyone made their way to the living room and took their seats. "Do you guys want to watch a movie?" His voice sounded like hell in your ears. "Or we could go to the mall?" He looked towards Namjoon for an answer "actually M/n took us to the mall yesterday" you could see his face twist at the answer. "Oh M/n that reminds me, can you take me to the store later?" You looked for the sound of Hoseoks voice "sure baby, what do you need?" Before Hoseok could answer Jesse spoke up " I can take you now if you need to go"

You could see he was smiling ear to ear, trying to convince hobi to go. "Sorry Jesse M/n and I like this to be our personal time" once again a smirk tugged at your lips. Jimin decided to get up to go the kitchen "anyone want something to drink?" Everyone spoke up and asked for something. You ignored when Jesse glared at you, following Jimin into the kitchen "I'll help you hyung" As they were in the kitchen Taehyung stole Jimins spot on your lap. Jin also removed himself from you to let Yoongi cuddle with you as he requested. When the two came back Jimin let out a gasp and a pout "M/n how could you let tae steal my spot" the pout on his lips caused a chuckle to escape your lips.

"Sorry baby first come first serve, plus it's your turn to sleep in my bed tonight remember?" His pout quickly vanished as he remembered he got you to himself tonight. "Why do you call him baby? Isn't that disrespectful since he's older then you?" The small smile you held vanished as Jesse spoke to you "watch your tone, I'll call them whatever I want if they are okay with it" you could see the huff he let out when you spoke to him. "Why are you being so rude? I haven't done anything to you" you glanced up at him. Taehyung noticed the glare and out his hand on your chest. You listened as he whispered in your air to calm you down. You felt the anger fade slightly as yoongi also held a grip on your arm as he cuddled into you. It was his way of keeping you at bay.

Jungkook had been silent through out the day as he also had a hard time being around Jesse. Jungkook would be considered his favorite out of the seven, and Jungkook hated it. He despised feeling uncomfortable around someone , especially in his own home. He was cuddling into hoseok and Namjoon as Jin scrolled through movies. Jesse decided to take a seat next to Jin as he was the only one sitting alone at the moment. Once everyone agreed on the movie it was a discussion on take out "how about pizza?" Jesse suggested and was turned down "m/n doesn't really like pizza" Jungkook spoke up. "Oh well everyone else does it's easy as well" Jungkook shook his head "no let's get something everyone likes." You sent a smile towards jungkook, which made him want to melt in his seat.

"How about we order from that restaurant down the street? We've all been there before." Namjoons voice spoke from across the room, and everyone of course agreed. You were the one who usually did the orders, as you remembered what everyone liked. You already had the orders in your phone. "I can start the order does everyone want the same thing as last time?" Everyone nodded and you looked at Jesse "what do you want?" He shrugged "anything is fine" you didn't care what you got him it was some type of chicken.

Once the food arrived everyone got comfortable to watch the movie. You decided to use the bathroom before it started, when you came back you felt your blood begin to boil. Jesse had taken your spot next to jungkook who obviously looked uncomfortable. The boys were staring at you, they could tell you were ready to snap. They would rather have you going off then be quiet. You simply sat on the recliner chair that was open and looked at Jungkook. "Jungkook" his head snapped towards you as you patted your lap. He smiled wide as he quickly took his place on your lap.

You felt daggers aimed towards you as you looked at Jesse who was pissed off. The rest of the night went by quickly without any other incidents taking place. Everything was going great until a loud boom. Darkness spread throughout the house as you guys heard the rain begin pouring down. "Jungkook, can you get the candles baby?" He nodded although he forgot it was to dark for you to see. He quickly grabbed candles and began to light them. Soon you could see and began putting any food away so it wouldn't go away. " do you guys mind if I stay the night it doesn't look to safe to drive" Jesse asked as he stood from the couch. The boys all looked at each other nodding. They then looked at you asking for your input. You gave a small nod.

You didn't like Jesse, but you wouldn't be the cause of his death by letting him drive home in this weather. "I'll go grab extra pillows and blankets " hoseok said as he made his way down the hallway. When he came back the pulled the sofa bed out for him. "Thank you all I really appreciate it!" You didn't respond, you started making your way to your room. Before you made it to the door you felt a heavy presence behind you, turning around all seven men stood behind you. "M/n can we all stay in here, the storm is kind of scary" Yoongi decided to be the voice of reason. You opened the door and they all piled in. Your room wasn't as big as the others. Having a house with multiple rooms was for everyone to have their personal space when needed. Living with seven people can be a lot for anyone to handle. Having all seven men piled into your room was in your opinion adorable.

The night was spent with arguing of who was going to share the bed with you. Jimin had won as it was originally his night. The rest of them spread out through your room.

Sunlight came fast through your blinds, signaling it was morning. It was your turn to cook breakfast today so you did your best to sneak out without waking them. Closing the door quietly, you made your way to the kitchen. Deciding on waffles, eggs and bacon you got everything you needed. You brewed coffee and tea for everyone as you started cooking. Your mind had forgotten Jesse was sprawled out on the couch. You didn't remember he was there until you heard him greet the others Loudly. "M/n you left us in there" this time Namjoon held the pout "sorry baby I was making breakfast for everyone, I brewed your favorite coffee" he smiled and kissed your cheek while pouring his cup.

"M/n do you make your waffles home made?" Once again his voice dampened your mood "usually I do, I didn't have enough stuff today so they are frozen." Your tone never changes when you speak to him. "Oh I usually make them home made too much better that way" you just hummed in response. Ignoring him was your only way to prevent a scene.

After serving them you were caught up in your own thoughts you didn't notice Hoseok trying to get your attention. Hoseok said your name a few times before he realized you were spaced out. He wasn't upset he knew sometimes you would zone out and never meant any harm by it. Focusing on washing the pots and pans you used it caught you by surprise when you felt a sting on your arm.

"Hey your boyfriend is talking to you, you should pay attention" you were unable to hear his words as all you were thinking about was him laying his hands on you. The boys watched stunned as you gripped the counter top, your knuckles turning white from your grip. You had just looked at him the stare cold, the anger visible. The boys watched as you stared at Jesse they could see fear start to take over. The it happened, before they could process what happened Jesse had red dripping from his face.

The crimson red began to stain his shirt as he held his nose. All seven boys rose from the table immediately going over to you. They were worried about you and your hand more then Jesse who had been dripping blood through their kitchen. Jungkook was making his way to get the first aid kit when he was stopped "Jungkook oppa your not going to do anything? He just hit me!" Jungkook pulled his arm away from him only for it to be grabbed again. Jungkook tried to stay calm once again pulling his arm away and getting the first aid kit. He quickly made his way back to you although you were trying to calm down it didn't seem to be working.

"You guys are taking care of him when he hit me! I knew he was trouble I tried telling you guys you deserve better" Jesse expected you to say something to him, he didn't expect the others to. He stood shocked as they told him off, before he was escorted out by everyone. He was shocked that they kicked him out, all he wanted was their attention he wanted them to look at him the way they look at you. He stood at their door with blood dripping down his face and shirt, how could they like you so much? You were so mean, quiet, rude. He never understood why they love you. After a while of standing there here finally left debating in his head if he should try again.

Meanwhile the boys focused their attention on you and calming you down. They knew you didn't like Jesse, they only tolerated him because they didn't want to come off as mean or rude. You finally calmed down and explained you would never blame them for this. The rest of your day was spent in bed squished between seven giants who loved you dearly.

May I ask your opinion on the concept of JK's photos? I have never felt so conflicted before, since the photos came out, jkkrs only see the copycat hyung, you are me I am you or even that Jk is sending a message and although at any other time I would also be like this, not this time The concept is clearly a copy and paste of Jm's and I just can't stop thinking about how badly the company treated and treats even Jm's debut, and now has the audacity to use part of his work to which he dedicated so much effort and time, and that it is so personal for him, with this I also want to say that I am NEVER going to blame JK, but I would like to hear the thought that this concept brought to them, and I feel bad because nobody among the Jkksr It seems to give importance to this and they treat it as if we were solos or anti, some say that it is the moment of Seven, of Jk, and they are right, but that does not mean that this is rare, and that if it had been the reverse, Jm would have been dragged back and forth to hell by now, sorry for this vent, but I needed to get it out

Thank you for being honest. I agree.

To start, I wish people would stick to one narrative. Because just last week they were saying "Jk didn't write this song so it's not really him in it." "Bang PD just gave it to him. They are enforcing this western look on him." Blah blah all that. "We should wait for Jk's real music." All this just in case Jk ends up making out with Sohee. Lol

And today the narrative is "Omg. Jikook. This is a sign. He chose this on purpose."

So which one is it? Is Seven the commercialized song that Jk didn't pick and is merely a participant of or is Seven a song Jk will use to say stuff about Jimin?

I opened the weverse photos and saw the one photo that is an exact copy of Jimin's and closed that right away.

As a fan of Jimin, I can't support that. I value Jimin's artistic expression and integrity. His vision. How everything he did during FACE was an embodiment of who he is and what he was trying to tell us. No one can do what Jimin does. No one has gone through the stuff Jimin has gone through. Even if Jk was by his side, the only person who saved Jimin was Jimin. So seeing Jk with Jimin's concepts was an insult. Unless Jimin is in that song with Jk, Jk and Hybe shouldn't touch Jimin's story. And you know what, no. Even if Jimin was part of it, there are a 1000 concepts in the world, find another one and don't take away from Jimin's artistry.

The whole "I am you. You are me" is being overblown, in my opinion. If Jk wants to wear matching concepts, why didn't he wear matching outfits to Suga's concert or something that can't be commercialized?

Ugh. And jikookers. Seriously. When FACE photos came out, they attributed them to random Jk photos saying "I am you. You are me." And they do the same now. And they will do the same forever. Because people care more about the couple than the art!!!!

If Jimin was the maknae's copycat, he would have been dragged for being unoriginal and wanting to hang from Jk's success. I also doubt jikookers would even defend him because they would be too busy coming up with cute theories.

And I'm all for delulu, I am. And I also love finding the things that connect Jimin and Jk. But this is just not it for me.

As Jimin's fan, I am appalled and as Jk's fan, I'm dissapointed.

Seasons Greetings 2021

My thoughts and commentary as I watch Seasons Greetings 2021! There is only the one making DVD in this package, just 93 minutes long. The other part of this was just the photobook and extra merch. Reminder that these are just my thoughts, it's not very organized. You get me typing it out as I go like I'm reacting to a friend. Somewhat like a bullet point format in a way. Here we go! This package was filmed in the beginning of September of 2020, they mention it at the end of the package. You can watch the full SG21 on YouTube here.

The DVD opens with Jimin for his first individual shoot all dressed up in his track suit, bag and scarf wrapped around his head looking all cute. Lol I swear only he can make that look cool I feel like. What an outfit. JK walking by for his shoot up next and seeing Jimin all dressed up and absolutely MELTING out of his tough guy persona he had on. Lmfao he completely melted at Jimin's cuteness and that chin tap and smile as he passed Jimin. And Jimins blush. God now IM melting. 🥰😍😍

JK looked like such a badass. I loved the yellow umbrella addition too! The way they all dressed in styles they picked out themselves is so cute. Jin looked like a whole baddie. I love glasses on him honestly. Hobi looking super hip! It suits him so well. I love that we got a jikook2seok unit shoot here too. I adore so much that the outfit Yoongi oicked for himself was total Hobi-core type of a look. And it SUITS HIM. Tae has never met a style he couldn't pull off and Namjoons HAIR is killing me. I love it. He looks so cool. The whole concept for the entirety of the Seasons Greetings was strangers to Seoul. I love it. The group shoot is so funny too. Jinkook immediately competing in billiards but in the silliest ways they can. "Jungkook and I used to play like this all the time." Photos of them playing pool, Jimin nailing his shoot in the game and immediately turning to get high fives from JK who is already there ready to give them! Jimin being the world's best person and being so kind when teaching Namjoon and Hobi how to play too. The vmin handshake and JK trying to join in on it too lmao. Jikook were very much so staying near each other through the whole billiards shoot for the most part. It was cute! Then all going for a group photoshoot at a bar too! JK pouring Jimins drinks so casually. Lol and they all look so good even in these intense outfits! Everyone dancing around to Dynamite, JK pulling Jimin into him by his TIE. Lol okay sir. 3J in the back pulling goofy thumbs up poses. And everyone gathering for a drink pretending to be strangers for real 🤣

They then introduced themselves and their profiles they created for the "strangers" they were all playing as they were new to Seoul. We have Illgok-dong Bounce Hobi, Soccer King Jimin, Busan Man JK, Dokgo Mint Chocolate RM, BTS-dong Grasshopper V, Tuna Flavored Cucumber Jin, Taejeon-dong Shooting Guard Suga. And they all explained their names and created the rest of their backgrounds and about me boards for their character. Lol my favorite being that Tae created a whole rivalry between his character and Jhope's 🤣 Jikook both putting "myself" as their characters role model. Lol and I legit need Jin to write a book. They then also of course fill out their 2020 board as themselves too!

And then we kick off some unit shoots in New outfits! Starting off with the iconic jikook shoot in their matching denim fits. Oof the moments from this shoot were sooooo good. It's all the giggles shared. It's the way JK was checking out Jimin from behind when they were posing. Lol (gif below) or how he kept peeking over at Jimin and copying his poses too (hyungs copycat). It's Jimin feeding JK his pizza aggressively lol. It's the way Jimin leaned in real close and JK stopped chewing and looked down at Jimins lips instead 👀 (2nd gif in the post). And the way they sat so close decorating those their shoes and kept sneaking glances at each other too. 😭 my heart. My loves. JK showing off his shoe to Jimin for praise. Jimin decorating his shoe with Young Forever on one side (a song that means a lot of him) and Jeon Jungkook with a silly emoji on the other side! And scolding JK lightly when he didn't stop drawing after that section of the shoot was over lol. They are so special. And the editors teasing them too. Lol "what's something that Jungkook, whose good at everything, finds difficult? Holding in his laughter while looking at Jimin." They just make each other so happy. Jimin talking about how its the end of Day 1 shooting for them now. How they started super early at 7am. JK interrupts saying no, at 3am. And Jimin just goes, no that was in your dreams. It was 7am. Lol he said they (him and JK) came first and are leaving last. JK said their concept was 2 friends who came from Busan together. Lmao flirty vibes for these friends in this shoot!

Namjin had the next unit with the concept two lonely men in the city. They look AMAZING. Jin asking Joon if he wants to have dinner together that night 🥺 Joonie bragging about getting his individual shoot done first and Jin just going "we have to leave at the same time anyway." Lmao and Joon flirting at the end! Lmao the way he said ARMY would like it (Jins outfit) and showed off more of Jins chest. Jin asking if Joon would hang out with him if he dressed like this everyday and RM just saying that he would pass out and that he would hang out, but wouldn't talk to him 👀🤣🤣🤣 Jin going "stop right there" lmfao dying. He is so funny sometimes with the out of pocket compliments like that. TaeGiSeok were the last unit and also did a lonely man concept together. They looked so good! I loved the talks about how they did feel lonely for real when they all first got to Seoul but they love it now. And Hobi complimenting Yoongi on his hair extensions!

Everyone getting ready for Day 2 shooting and we've got Yoongi on the guitar and Jimin cutely falling asleep in his chair 🥺🥺 Finishing up their solo shoots, Jinkook bickering and kicking each other on their way over to Suga for their unit shoot with him 😂 it's CONSTANT with them. The way Yoongi rubs JKs back 🥺🥺 and all 3 voting Suga as the best dressed! The 94z did a unit shoot! And idk if Hobi can get through a shoot with these guys without grabbing their chests! Lol "when did you get so bulked up?" He says while holding a handful of Joon chest. 🤣 they were so cute though. And after that they did an OT7 group shoot as well! The reminiscing over shooting the RUN MV here too! Lol and Yoongi so sweetly rubbing Tae's back. Those are his babies yall 😭 and lastly, we got the vmin unit shoot! The red and green outfits and matching curly blond hair was so cute. The editors calling them out on their mischief was cute too. Lol the way Tae wouldn't stop telling Jimin he likes him 🤣 "I like you" he says over and over while Jimin keeps knocking his hands away. Lol and the way Tae held Jimin when they talked at the end was so soft too. Cuties. The way everyone shared memories of when they ACTUALLY first came to Seoul was amazing. I loved hearing their stories!

They did another group shoot on bus 613 🥺 and were all so cute. Jimin pretending to fall asleep almost on Yoongis shoulder and leaning across the aisle to mess with Hobi. Tae legitimately falling asleep against the window breifly. Lol Tae trying to hold Jins hand and Jin going "nope" 🤣 and Tae accidentally breaking the bus hand rail thing! Oops, but the way Joon tattles on him, please 😭🤣

And they end the day all gathering together to talk with MC Jungkook! JK says 2021 is the year of the cow, which is why he got to be MC, which Jimin reminds us all that JK was born in the year of the cow. Lol they introduced their characters as well as their journals. Namjoons was super cute. Everyone giggled. Hobi found it right up his sense of humor. Jin joked about saying the needed to end their friendship since he hates mint chocolate and that's who Joon based his character on 😂

Jimin introducing his character. Who he said was from Seoul and JK going "oh? Busan??" when Jimin spoke with a slight Busan accent by accident. Lol Yoongi keeps teasing him too! The bickering duo. And Tae commenting on his small fingers. Lol no one letting Jimin breathe!

Yoongi making everyone laugh by saying his character was Korean American and only just started learning Korean as a language. Lol and asking Joon for help on some english words to throw in his introduction too. 🤣 I love him. And of course, Jimin has to tease him back and tells him to read his journal in English only 😂

JK with his Busan Man character. Lol Tae teasing that it sounds just like that Jungkook guy from BTS when he said his motto is what's yours is mine and what's mine is mine. And that he likes wearing black and drinking milk and that his personality is teenage angst. 🤣 lmao JK coming to Seoul from Busan with some teenage angst? Don't we all 🤣 and everyone started to tease him for speaking half informally through his character introduction. And Tae's comment on JKs character journal "I hope you grow out of your teenage angst." Lmfao!

Tae was so excited to share his. His characters personality is just "violent." Lol Tae sharing his dream is to take down his rival (Jhope) and Hobi being so confused about being in a rivalry he had no idea about 😂 and yet Bounce (Jhope) is also his role model. What a complicated relationship they must have 🤣

Jhope introduced his character Bounce with a bright but introverted personality. Tae interjecting more details into Hobis story to make theirs match better. Lol I love the overlap. His character was mostly just excited to dance and for the world cup!

And lastly Jin, whose character is a Cucumber. Lol with a whole backstory about how the Cucumber became Tuna Flavored. The editors saying his journal reads like a children's book, I AGREE EDITORS. Joons comment was "I don't like Cucumbers." Lol the savagery 😭🤣

JK brings them back around. Back to being BTS members as themselves for the next round! They did a relay journal entry for the future. Starting the journal was Jhope who picked the title "they are back together" and the year 2040, along with a starting point for the journal entry. The order for writing the journal went Hobi, Jimin, Suga, JK, Jin, Namjoon and ending with Tae. Lol the absolute chaos of this story and everyone's laughter and jokes as Tae reads out the whole thing. Amazing.

They moved onto their journals looking back on the year 2020 next. Jin rated his year at an 85 so far since he is happy with how he is living his life. Jhope rated 2020 at 77, since it feels like a lucky number. Tae telling us we would get his mixtape in 2021. Lol unfortunately we did not. He rated the year 80 for his good efforts and for getting billboard number 1. JK was dubbed the planning king of BTS for all his plans he wanted to do. Lol but also the quitting king of BTS. 😭🤣 The teasing never stops. He rated his year a 55 since he did half of what he originally planed, plus 5 points for billboard lol. Suga is the planning king of BTS as well, and he did all his plans except study English. He rated his year 72, with room to grow since the year wasn't over yet. Jimin shared his based off BTS plans in general. Taekook goofing off while Jimin was talking and got scolded 😅🤣 Jimin gave his year a rating of 85. RM said one of his plans was to workout. Cue all the immediate compliments from the members and yoonmin immediately feeling up his strong biceps and making Joon all flustered. Lol he gave his year a 78 in hopes to make it higher before the year ended too.

JK brings us back around by reading off what their goals were in the last seasons greetings for the year 2020. RMs was to be preform at Grammys or be nominated for music and work on lots of songs. Jins was to perform in lots of countries and go fishing with the members. Suga's was to perform at the Grammys and travel the world. Jhope's was to set aside exhausting thoughts and appreciating and enjoying every moment. Everyone asking if he was appreciating every moment and Tae goes "you appreciate me?" He is so cute. Lol Hobi going "yes, I appreciate all of you. All... 7 of you." While patting Tae and Jin so sweetly. And Tae just going, I didn't ask about everyone. I asked about me. 🤣🤣 lol Hobi going "of course I appreciate Taehyung" while laughing. Jimins was to keep their relationship with ARMY. Vs was that he wants to be a passionate person, work on lots of songs and gaming experience. He wants to play the violin and take many pictures and travel with the members. Everyone giggling at his many goals. Jimin praising him for working hard on his songs and lots of other things too. Hobi telling him he worked hard. JK saying that he did at least play the violin once and did a good job learning many things that year. 🥺🥺 they are so supportive. I swear. JKs goal was that since he can't stick to one thing for a long time, he wants to try many things out in 2020. Jimin immediately saying he did exactly that. Everyone chiming in with agreements and Tae returning the exact same head pat and compliment JK gave him. Lol they are so cute.

And we end it off for the day with their goals for 2021. In one word if possible. Lol starting with Jin. Whose goal is "tour, health." Jhope says concert. Tae says ARMY. JK says responsibility. Suga says tour. Jimin also says Tour. And RM says Grammys, more specifically, RM wants to be nominated and perform at the Grammys.

And the DVD ends with the last day of shooting on day 3 on the railroad tracks. And we get the cutest unit of miniminimoni 🥺 RM copying Jimins hat pose. The 3 of them playing with butterfly nets. Joon actually goes and catches a dragonfly with it and shows it off to the staff and Jimin all excited! And NamGi going off on a small tangent about Jin not knowing what the countryside looks like 😅 he isn't even there to defend himself from the teasing! Vhope doing the cutest unit with bikes as their props too. Looking so precious. JinKook starts their unit shoot off by hitting each other, of course 🤣 and playing with cows and puppies and spiders. And photobombing each other. Lol why are they like this? 🥰🤣 they were just so goofy. Even before the other members all joined for the group photos. Lol I love their energy.

The ending mentions were sweet. JK saying that bugs don't scare him anymore after ITS. Lol and Jimin going "they still scare me!" And JK just pointing at him like, "I got you" vibes. And then yoonmin complaining about their bug bites. BTS ended their DVD with happy new years wishes and a full bow. I love them all so much. I swear. Thanks for letting me share!

Jimin's Got that Busan Juju + A Comment on His Photo Folio (Repost)

Anonymous: Hi BPP, I hope the concert was wonderful and everything you asked for. I would really like to know your opinion/analysis about my query below because I started with BTS last year and I am still struggling to figure this out.

So before I started with BTS, the one person whose name I constantly heard was Jimin. Some of my friends who are into BTS loved him and it felt like he was everywhere so when I started with BTS I tried to avoid him. I tend to veer towards the less well known member. However, no matter how hard I tried, I always saw myself watching Jimin. It started with performances and then everything else. Now I don't think he is my bias. I often try to stay loyal to the hyung line but I somehow end up looking at Jimin. I just don't get it. What sort of magic is this? Am I noticing him because everyone else is? I am so confused about this whole situation. Like I know he is good to look at but any idea what the deal is. Lol, I sounds like a teenager with a crush. Do other people feel this as well or am I actually a teenager with a crush?

Jimin’s visuals have always been my favorite. His vocals have always been my favorite. And I’ve slowly come to accept he’s the best dancer in BTS. There was a time (mid-2018 or so) that he seemed so perfect I briefly considered the possibility he might be a sociopath.

Sometimes he falls off my radar (the rapline consistently stay on my radar) but then he pranks Hobi, says something savagely sassy, or his vocals pierce my brain like a lightning rod and he gets on my radar again.

The new ARMY recruit (non-ARMY friend who watched the Grammys) asked me recently why I don’t think of Jimin as my bias or even bias wrecker (that title belongs wholly to Jungkook), and all I could say is that he doesn’t annoy me enough to be my bias, and with how much I like Jimin, I like Yoongi a touch more, Hobi a teeny bit more, and Joon about as much as I like Jimin, maybe. Why that is exactly, I don’t know. People choose their biases for all sorts of reasons, or rather, their biases choose them.

Jimin is a bit of a special case because everybody notices him. It’s quite literally impossible not to. It’s why so many people feel threatened by this guy breathing anywhere near their biases, cause they know their biases would sooner get on one knee, or better yet, turn around and kneel with their asses in the air, for Jimin to do whatever he wants. I just need y'all to watch any of their MV reaction videos, I mean BTS reacting to themselves. Pick anyone at all. And look at their faces when Jimin comes on the screen. I almost feel embarrassed for them because it’s so obvious. Jungkook showed up in Chelsea boots during soundcheck the other day, and his energy? Hyung’s copycat indeed. They all see Jimin for what he is. Jimin himself knows what he is. I have a pet theory that one reason he’s so heavily leaned into his ‘cute, harmless, almost helpless good boy’ persona lately, is to try to seem less threatening. Most maknae line solo stans hate him to a hilariously absurd degree, because they view him as real competition. It’s why they’re so proactive with their hate, always on schedule, never missing a deadline. Some hyung-line akgaes too feel that way tbh. I’ve seen more than one person say Jimin is this generation’s Prince (the artist). And let me add something I’m working on in response to another ask about my favorite sub-unit in BTS (it’s 3J after the rapline): the 3J unit is the only unit filled with aces. You read that right. J-Hope, Jimin, and Jungkook are the true aces in BTS, it might just take some work to see it cause one of those three people goes around saying he wants to be waited on like Cleopatra taking milk baths.

Anyway, I digress.

I hate to be that person, but in your case, you sound a bit like Anthony Bridgerton talking about Kate Sharma. You can’t take your eyes off him? You end up looking only at him? Anon, you might be under the Jimin Effect. I suspect you’ve Jim-ined and cannot Jim-out, as they say.

Maybe accept it? Loving Jimin is a very enjoyable activity and I can speak from experience.

Y'all, I hollered. Jimin really is something else, and whatever he is, only Jimin himself knows it. The other members have a very good idea, but the full expression of Jimin is something only Jimin knows. And that makes me giggle. It makes me love him a little harder. It makes me feel things - to know that there will always be something new to learn about him, to explore with him.. it's an intoxicating feeling. It's one I feel sometimes when I think about Namjoon, Yoongi, and Hoseok. The only criticism I have of Jimin's photo folio, is that it comes with no sound, and that's a criticism I'm making only because it's Jimin. I wish this photofolio was a film series instead. Only because I want to hear more of Jimin's vocal evolution. Imagine what he would sound like inspired by the moon's relationship with Artemis, or "freedom"...

Anyway, I hope whoever wanted a copy was able to get one. I hope the worry-toned asks I was frequently getting about Jimin, subside now. I hope his antis finally get a clue. And I hope more of us sit back and just enjoy the ride that is Park Jimin. I've said before that I think he is the most threatening person in k-pop. Lol. It's just what it is.

Hi TAJ! I hope you’re doing well! I had a moment I was curious about if you have a moment! All of the ‘Jungkook Jimin copycat’ jokes surrounding their concept pictures reminded me of that KBS World Special thing where they gave each other letters. I always found Jungkook’s reaction to that really funny but kind of odd because he seemed genuinely flustered. Other members even assumed Jimin must have sent him something sentimental based on his reaction, but Jimin just wanted him to say he was his copycat lol. The examples Jimin gave weren’t even serious in the end either. I just thought it was kind of an interesting and cute moment (his ears were so red!), although not necessarily in a shipping sense or anything. I was just curious if you ever had any thoughts on it! (also I love how most of them knew that letter was either going to either Taehyung or JK)

So my thoughts on this are a little a taboo in shipping spaces because I think this is more of an example of their familial dynamic—at least for me. He might act older sometimes with regards to Jimin, but he is still the youngest; there’s an innate cuteness to him that he won’t be able to get rid of completely by nature of being the youngest.

I’ve seen this more in female sibling dynamics where the youngest starts mimicking the oldest and dressing the same way, etc., and it’s never an issue until it’s pointed out. Generally, the knee-jerk reaction is to feel defiant or embarrassed, but you can easily tell that those feelings are a result of the accusation being true.

And sometimes the intensity of the response can be correlated to how unlike this new iteration of yourself you were before.

I’m not saying that this is actually the case here, but it’s what I initially took from it. And it also makes sense because Jungkook has said before that he’s inspired by what is essentially Jimin’s stage presence, and Jimin’s stage presence is basically an extension of who he is when he’s not performing. So it tracks that Jungkook is adopting things that he thinks are cool.

(The more pressing observation is that, at least in this regard, he seems more fixated on Jimin than the others.)

I think it’s important for people to remember that Jungkook does have six hyungs that he’s going to be influenced by, subconsciously or not. Not everything he does that’s associated with another member has to have a romantic undertone to it.

Even if my assessment is wrong, this is probably the least shippy/romantic thing between them, in my opinion.

This one I know was partly about the tone or language he used with Jimin...his approach to saying this, but the point stands - Jimin's performance is the one he watches and admires.

He doesn't miss these opportunities to say something that is off standard script for hyung-donsaeng relationships and also to talk about how much he admires Jimin.

The love and admiration (just outside of thinking they're probably dating) that JK has for Jimin is massive. They couldn't get away with the copycat jokes otherwise.

The support we've seen them provide for each other...knowing each other's stage dances, being there during rehearsals, Jungkook still singing Serendipity, their "You are me, I am you" thing, visiting Jimin's room multiple times a day on tour just hanging out....

This is a deep relationship.....DEEP.

So what I'll say about this is that:

1) this still isn't an exact label on their relationship

2) I haven't heard JK call Jimin chingu (friend) despite their obvious closeness and his comfort level dropping the honorifics (but let me know if you have)

3) there's no context to this so trying to gauge what Jimin might have meant without simply and directly translating what he said is putting your own spin on it -> whatever hang ups or beliefs you might have and might not share with Jimin.
