listen. i love pizza tower with my whole heart & mind. you know this. you Know. but first and foremost i am a character design bitch, and the pizzas are, frankly, very bland. this is not a critique or a complaint, because obviously That's Not The Point and more importantly i would be horrified if anyone tried doing that much animation with anything more complex than what's there. but also it means when i get a taste of some truly whack ass insane design work again it is like fuuuucking catnip

#ive been DEPRIVED......#pizza business is on hiatus i need to play lethal league for 50 hours and make a surely ill-fated cosplay about it #it really is unfortunate fake pep could have been a fun cosplay for the way i wanted to go about it #but for all the schematics i had sketched out it was never a thing i wanted to get up and actually try to Make #and then i wake up the next day after playing llb once and go like oh. ohhhhhh. i need to be doombox irl #and because of that realizing. oh that was misplaced idle thoughts before; i never actually wanted to do fp for real #i was just on that train bc 1. very passionate about the game obviously [and he was kind of my only option to rep pt] and 2.#i think it was a lot of leftover inertia from my PREVIOUS cosplay idea [baozhai from indivisible] that i also never pursued #lots of Makin Stuff drive still existing but not having a place to go.#fp was certainly more doable than baozhai so it was easy to latch on but #still not....really the kind of thing i actually Enjoy making #this one though. ohgghhgh i feel it. i feel the cosmos #i still dont think i'm actually going to complete it. the current projection is that i just make a shitty prototype and then #realize how impossible and unfun this is gonna be and then drop it. [but its fine bc i still got to make stuff and got the idea out]#however. that first pizza comic was also originally a single-image prototype to get the idea across bc #i didn't think i would actually draw out that whole thing either.#so i guess we'll just see what happens. now won't we.#poor fuckin noisette comic 2 man i put it off for so long and then finally get into it and then this happens #ill get back on it eventually this is just something i have to indulge while i have it and get it out of my system #its like evangelion. sometimes you have to write 8k words of analysis. and sometimes you gotta make a really stupid cosplay #anyway hey i should post the fp cosplay schematics huh. i meant to back when i first did them but then didnt. whoops #bweeeaaahh

Keith is such an asshole. That's not new information for Lance, of course, but it bears repeating. Keith is such an asshole.

They're sparring. It was Keith's idea. Lance had initially said "No." to Keith's proposal to train with him, because he figured he'd done enough for the week. Keith said, "Lance, you need to do it every day." And then, the bastard smirked. "Think you can't keep up?"

Lance sputtered, "Of course I can keep up! I could train circles around you any day." That didn't make any sense. Whatever.

So, that's how Lance finds himself dodging Keith's punches. He's pretty good at avoiding getting hit, actually. He's starting to get pretty confident in himself. He hasn't actually landed very many punches of his own, but that's besides the point. His confidence quickly dissipates when Keith hooks his foot behind Lance's ankle and trips him. Lance's face meets the hard glossy floor, and Keith wastes no time sitting on him.

"Best two out of three?" Keith offers, and Lance can hear the stupid smirk in his voice.

"Get. Off me," Lance grumbles out, and Keith chuckles.

"Sorry? Did you say something? I can't-- I can't hear you."

"Off. Now," Lance grumbles out again, and Keith finally relents, removing his weight from where he was sitting on Lance's back. Lance rolls over so that he's actually facing Keith, who's offering a hand to help him up. He reluctantly takes it, and rises to his feet. "I hope you die in a fire."

"I hope you drown."

"Then, get haunted, idiot."

"You're that obsessed with me?" There's that stupid smirk again. Lance wants to slap it off Keith's face.

"N-No!" Lance stammers out. "I'm not obsessed with you. You just suck."

"Sure."

"I'm really not!" Lance insists, voice getting higher in pitch. "You just suck so much-- HEY!"

Keith lands a blow to Lance's stomach. "Keep your guard up."

Oh, that was it.

It took a lot of effort on his part, but eventually, Lance had successfully tackled Keith to the ground, pinning his arms above his head by his wrists. Now it's Lance's turn to smirk and gloat. "I told you, I can train circles around you--" Keith is looking up at Lance with an expression Lance can't read. Their faces are so close together. "Why are you looking at me like that?" Lance demands.

"I just never noticed how pretty your eyes are."

Lance chokes. He feels his face flush. He backs away from Keith's face as much as he can without compromising his victory of having Keith pinned down. Big mistake. Keith takes the first vulnerability he sees to roll them over so that he has Lance pinned. He leans in so close that their breaths mingle, and Lance can hear his own heartbeat in his ears.

Keith grins. "I win."

Hey #GreekMythology tumblr, I want ya’lls help on something :).

So, I’ve been thinking about starting this massive project. Like, would take years and years work of writing and research and sheerly finding the time and motivation for. And as I was thinking about the specifics, I thought: why not bring others into it as well? Because as much as I am interested in a lot of Greek Mythology, there are things that are simply not my interests and might cause writers block and my goal for the project would to be as fun as possible. So, here we are.

What is the project exactly? Well, hopefully, it’ll be a long Ao3 series/fic focusing on the individual perspectives of various figures/events in Greek Mythology arranged in (semi/good enough) chronological order. I personally intend to write for Poseidon in his/my version of the Titanomachy and (maybe) some events that follow, if you want a little bit of an idea on what I’m talking about.

The limits on this are almost completely free, all that I ask are that each of your submissions are one POV only (and by that I mean your main subject’s POV). Why do I say this? I say this because that is what I want this project to look like. It doesn’t matter if it’s First, Second, or Third POV along with all the other variants of those three, my main focus is on the individual experiences of these individuals. Kind of like character studies, if you know what I mean. I’m intending for it to be mostly formal but I will absolutely accept crack admissions that I will probably put into its own series to Separate the Vibes for whoever comes by :).

Ultimately, this is a completely open-ended project that has absolutely no deadline. I’m about to go to bed so I can’t go into too much detail, but if you want to DM me or send any asks, I am completely okay with that and we’ll all flesh out the specifics we go :).

What is my overall purpose? Not only is this project made for my own individual purposes of learning more about the gods and other Greek Mythology writers, but it’s also the chance to spread the word of other writers. I know how hard it is to get specific audiences, especially when you’re shy, so this is a chance for your work to be stumbled upon. Each post on the eventual Ao3 fic will include your socials, how to find you, and your other general works on either ao3, tumblr, wattpad, or other :)

Can you participate even without socials or a tumblr page? Yes you absolutely can :). My asks will always be open to anons and I will do my best to give credit when I eventually post everything :). If you want to post multiple submissions or simply just want a trackable (between works) name to your writing, just sign something at the end. It could be a name, it could be a potential username, I don’t mind at all :)).

How do I submit things? Well, the best way would be to DM me :). I have a personal writing email separate from most things that would be perfect to either share a google docs with or to just send a copy-and-pasted copy of it. Otherwise, I take asks. None of them will be posted unless asked or we’re ready to so it’ll be safe to just drop them off in! It’s also where I take questions :).

Any other things to note? I’d really appreciate some other moderators and editors :). There’d only be like two or three of each and we’d have to know each other decently well before officially starting, but some help would be appreciated! Also, I’d like to keep a working ‘spreadsheet’ of who’s working on what just for people to see what’s going on :). Maybe some people can collaborate or it’ll encourage those niche writers to write :). A third thing is that most questionable stuff is accepted. I’d personally rather not handle all those things other than posting it so it might be a while until I can officially accept (consensual and/or graphic) ✨spicy stuff✨ but, other than that, I’ll take any of it (also, it’s Greek Mythology, almost all of it already happened). If someone’s willing to take over the ✨spicy stuff✨ then please DM me so we can work out the details and see if it’s a nice fit :)

Honestly, that all should be it. The main point is that I’m trying to start up a long-term project on Tumblr and Ao3 about what is essentially Greek Mythology character studies that not only allows for mass communication across a wide audience, but also (hopefully) gets some recognition for the smaller writers :). Feel free to DM me or send me asks with questions but for now, I shall sleep
