What were Kyojuro and Senjuro like as toddlers and how were they different from each other?
“Kyojuro was an adventurous toddler, and something of a menace. Keeping him in one place for more than two seconds was hard, but he was happy and loved to play. He also had an appetite, even back then. If I didn’t finish fast enough he’d swipe my food without hesitation and eat it while he looked me dead in the eyes.
Senjuro was the opposite. He was quiet and shy, and he wanted to be close to me, Ruka or Kyojuro at all times. Leaving him alone was hard because he’d get scared and cry, but as long as you were nearby, he was fine. He was also a very sleepy toddler, and would fall asleep while being cuddled.”

This Steerner mix really have more of the electronic DJ sound as the references on Steerner’s Spotify. I kind of liked it but it didn’t reach the level of the references for me. Still have other fav remixes. But it’s dance floor friendly for sure.
At the forefront of the electronic scene and with support from Avicii, Sebastian Ingrosso, and Tiesto to name a few, his most prolific release ‘Friends’ has reached over a total of 70 million streams – to not name his back catalog of 1.3 billion combined with remixes for the likes of The Chainsmokers, ILLENIUM, Alan Walker and Miguel.

Confession: a couple days ago there was a ‘what’s your least favorite horror subgenre’ poll and I read it wrong, missed the word ‘least’ and accidentally voted for found footage and it’s kind of haunting me
I love found footage so much. I would have voted for slashers.

The older I get the more I admire people who are earnestly, genuinely into whatever their thing is. I know it sounds like an annoying cliche but unless you're being cruel or hurtful there is really no need to be normal about things. The dude with the bad fake accent at the renaissance faire is having the time of his life. The people having photoshoots with their fashion dolls are loving it. The old lady with a yard unreasonably full of tacky ass lawn ornaments is having a blast, HOA be damned.
Don't waste your time being too cool to have fun, y'know?

Crocodile finds a strange stray cat an 11-year old Nico Robin (AU where they met 13 years earlier. Robin's been on the run from the World Government for 3 years. Crocodile's 27 and has not set up base in Alabasta yet)
It seems like I have become possessed. By some sort of demon.

also worth noting that "abusive" doesn't actually mean "irredeemable" either.
there's a lot of people that have done things in the past that were bad, because they weren't taught any better, or they were in an overall toxic situation where EVERYONE was shitty (like a cult), or they were just at an especially low point and hurt others for it.
you don't have to forgive them. you don't have to ever speak to them again. you can be angry with them until you die if you want.
but society cannot function if we don't allow them to move on. to change their behavior and fuck off somewhere else and build meaningful relationships without bothering you again. we need a path for people to change, or nothing ever will.

You know, it's kinda funny how much of high fantasy centers around kings and nobility and courtly intrigue considering that the archetypal high fantasy, Lord of the Rings, had the rather explicit moral of "saving the world is up to this backwater hick and his gardener because no politician, least of all inherited nobility, would have the ability to see past their own ambition and throw away a weapon". Oh sure, Aragorn is a great king and all, but there's a reason he's over there running a distraction ring while the hobbits do the real work. Sauron loses because he gets distracted by kings and armies and great battles (i.e. typical high fantasy stuff) letting Frodo and Sam sneak through his back door and blow it all to hell.
Just saying, maybe old Jirt knew what he was saying when he said that the small folk doing their best and holding to each other was more powerful than a dozen alliances and superweapons and we should respect him for it.
