Did you guys like that Jake Lee vs Yuki Yoshioka match

#Jake Lee Big #yuki yoshioka little #I swear to god I loved this match for more than cumbrained reasons #it was genuinely really interesting watch Yosh have to cope with a wrestler so much larger than him #in DG he’s used to being on the larger side of the roster #and he can rely on his brute strength to give him an advantage #but against someone HUGE like Jake he really doesn’t have much of a strategy #in that way he’s almost at more of a disadvantage against Jake than one of his smaller roster members #because someone like Dia or Dragon Kid know how to fell giants because basically everyone is bigger than they are #so when Yoshioka just sort of goes for Jake’s legs when the match begins all he does is struggle and exhaust himself #wasting precious time and energy that I think costs him the match in the long run #because by the time he remembers that his primary advantage is that he’s a speedy Dragongate boy with explosive striking power #it’s kind of too late #Jake Lee #Yuki Yoshioka #Dragongate #pro wrestling Noah #Noah N1 Victory 2023

20.12.23, wednesday

My main hobby is just procrastinating in any way I can. The plan was to make a cup of coffee and then start working. What actually happened is that I watched a 3 part video series (by james hoffmann ofc) on Aeropress coffee and made a few cups with different variables. Still not sure if I found The Recipe for me, but it’s getting better (tho I don’t love the coffee beans I have)

#altho i’m not sure I agree that inverted method is not worth the risks #maybe I just pour my water in too slow (bc I get nervous abt pouring too much) but there’s a fair bit of liquid that manages to get through #before I can place the vacuum on there #so I did it with inverted method #what I took from his recipe was the swirling instead of stirring and letting it rest for 30secs after to get a more even bed of coffee #I did 14g of coffee & 200g of water with a 5min brew -> swirl -> another 30seconds of letting it rest before pressing gentlyy for like 20-3 #seconds #but idk it’s a bit ’’one note’’#which could be the beans #I have medium roast rn and I prefer light roast but the light roast beans have been no where to be found lately idk why #(there aren’t many actual light roast beans and the other ones are waay out of my budget)#(or at least good ones; there’s the one affordable light roast that’s everywhere but I don’t like it that much (but tbf should’ve still #bought that instead of these ones I got))#like this is still way better than what the drip coffee of those beans are #and the achilles heel is that I don’t have a thermometer of any kind so my water temperature is guesswork every time #so tweaking variables is always a bit sketchy bc idk if I just had a better water temperature that time #studyblr #booklr #aesthetic #bookblr #books #study #reading #read #book #coffee #2023 #december 2023

i know the hunger games isnt about romance i know it isnt a love story but. theres just something so beautiful in the way peeta is the personification of what it means to heal and he /is/ the dandelion and the bread and the hope that things can be better even if they wont be fixed. even if the nightmares dont stop he will still hold her. wake her up and tell her shes alive. shes safe. and when its over and done and theres no more saving or protecting or trying their absolute hardest to die if it means keeping the other alive, the horrors dont stop. but katniss will still find that comfort in peetas arms.

Pokemon crossover? Indeed. Because there’s so many ghost pokemon, and many that are specifically stated to be dead children that I bet? They would absolutely adore the Dannies. In fact? They adore the entire Team Phantom.

Who are in fact on vacation, taking a summer to not have to deal with ghosts. Do they know what Fright Knight is doing back home? No, but they’re on vacation and don’t care. Look at these lil guys! Tucker, don’t steal the rotom- oh they’ve adopted you? Okay. Fair enough.

Now their world? Pokemon doesn’t exist. And by that I mean not even as a game or series or anything. So it is new and fun and like exploring the zone all over again!

They’re having fun, making friends with people and pokemon alike. Danny has discovered that pokepuffs don’t become violent if revived and many of his new friends love having snacks they can chase after. Dan absolutely delights in taking care of more than a couple of the evil organizations- and there might have been a cult form, no one asked.

They had to drag Tucker away from several bits of technology, quite literally drag him. And they had to carefully drag several pokemon away from Valerie because they adore her and her suit. Sam- erm, where did Sam and Ellie- oh there they are. Oh Ellie found a clone friend and Sam. Sam that’s a legendary.

That’s so cool! But like, they do have to go back home- oh, oh they’re coming with. That’s a lot of pokemon. Oh well, it’s fine. They brought souvenirs for their friends and family and plenty of plants- like Sam would let them not do so.

So now they’re home and with… okay that’s way more friends than they thought, but it’s fine! Let’s go see- oh hey Frighty, erm, what do you mean heroes arrived?? We don’t have much of an issue anymore???
