Lucy understands that by creating this domino effect to get Tim into Metro, she won’t see him as much as she’d like/they do now. It’s a sacrifice she’s willing to make because Tim’s happiness at work is not something she will sacrifice. He is worth the effort. Lucy doesn’t care if Tim never finds out she initiated the retirement and moves - she’s happy to be a ghost contributor.

So I saw some… interesting things, and I just wanted to put out a little reminder to be kind and respectful with writers (especially when requesting something).

Us writers take the time to put out things we enjoy to help give that same enjoyment to others. We don’t have to, but it’s something we want to do. A funny hobby (to give it an explanation).

Please, please, please be patient and respectful when it comes to these things. Being hateful to someone or demanding a request isn’t the way to go about it. In fact, it causes us to despise writing and a lot of writers stop and leave because of it. Unfortunately, I’ve seen a lot of cases with that result. Even some of my favorite writers 😔

So, this goes without saying, writers are human.

God this panel took me right the fuck out. On the one hand, what else can they do? Marcille's the only member of the party skilled enough in magic to do resurrection spells. Laois straight up tells her he's giving her the neck armour because she's the healer, the one they can't afford to lose; she can rez the rest but if she dies, they're all doomed. And it's a uniquely cruel position for Marcille to be in because of her deep, aching fear of outliving everyone she loves, a fear that Laios has to be aware of on some level, even if he doesn't clearly remember the nightmare he rescued Marcille from... but even if he was fully aware of it, that doesn't change the fact that she's the only one of them who can rez. It's inescapable that she has to be in this position, just as, in the end, it's inescapable that she will outlive everyone in this panel even if they live to ripe old ages. Marcille being forced to microdose her inevitable looming grief is a great setup for her making the decision she does when they meet the Winged Lion--how can she go through this again, for real?

My biggest beef with the way Annabeth was written in the show is that I think Rick fell into his own trap. Like his whole thing with Annabeth is that just because someone doesn’t look smart doesn’t mean they aren’t. And while it’s about their literal looks for both the show and the book, book Annabeth also sometimes acted in ways that people wouldn’t stereotypically associate with “smart” because I think we’ve all be condition to think bbc sherlock no emotions genius is the only way to be smart. Book Annabeth acts super flustered around Luke because she's a kid and she has a crush on him, she's afraid of spiders, and wanted to see the arch just because she thought it was cool. In general book Annabeth is allowed to be sillier and have a wider range of emotions than show Annabeth without it detracting from the fact that Annabeth is smart. I find this whole "stoic genius" idea is often used to put down teenage girls for being dumb and superficial just because they show emotions and the only way to beat it is to be cold, calculating, and emotionless and most people just aren't like that.

Leo being put into a situation where there is absolutely no fighting, just verbal manipulation and perception games, would be amazing to witness. We see a lot in the series how good he is at subterfuge and how he uses his perception to manipulate to great effect, so it’d be so cool to really see it put to the test even more.

Manipulation is one of the most effective tactical strategies of all time, so just imagine Leo putting this skillset of his to the full test. Imagine the boys slowly get up to busting bigger and more powerful criminals, including those with networks of crime under their belt, and a simple fight isn’t enough to take them down. For criminals like this, Leo’s skills in subterfuge would be deadly.

Forever, irrevocably fascinated by Will Graham's love for Hannibal Lecter. You guys don't give him enough attention. I actually think he loves with more intensity than Hannibal. His love is not only sacred, but it's also kaleidoscopic, and visceral, and convoluted, and so fucking much.
