There’s a pretty high chance that Bruce secretly, under pain of death, pays for and conceals all of the people and innocent bystanders Clark accidentally injures or kills.
Because those super powers result in injuries and deaths, undoubtedly. Buildings topple and people are caught in blast waves. Clark’s laser eyes aren’t always accurate enough.
But he doesn’t know. Clark doesn’t know that Bruce quietly pays for rehab and funerals and long term care. Clark doesn’t know that the woman he saved last week suffered a fractured vertebrae because of how fast he pulled her out of that burning car. He doesn’t know that Bruce quietly paid for a million-dollar hospital stay because of her subsequent paralysis.
Bruce doesn’t tell Clark about them. He pays off bills and long term trust funds for patient care. He hides what he can from Clark because if Clark knew, he wouldn’t be able to go on being Superman.
And maybe, one day, when Bruce dies, he learns exactly what his best friend was doing, all these years. But at that point, there’s no Superman anyway. Not without Batman.

The most important thing I've learnt recently is that I'm now pretty sure that Bane canonically thinks pissing Bhaal off is funny, is 100% willing to seduce his own followers (I mean, he does canonically have at least one child with one), as well as use flirting (with a side of threats and bribery) to sway people to convert to his faith.
Which means that I believe he would be willing to seduce (or at least flirt with) the Dark Urge, Kelemvor style, purely because it would piss Bhaal off and also piss Myrkul off because he's the one who has to mediate whenever Bane starts pulling this shit.
I only wonder whether he would do it via dream, manifest an avatar (which considering Bane's favouring of demonic looking avatars when he's not possessing people, kinda counts as monsterfucking?) or if he uses Gortash as an avatar to do it (or possess one of his other Banites as a "fuck you" to Gortash if his Chosen has displeased him recently, maybe? Watch your god make out with your not-partner Enver: that's what you get for developing "feelings". Or maybe he'd be into that idk)
If it works, on any level, then Durge is probably going to be incapacitated by religious guilt for the remainder of forever.

I’ve been on a reincarnation kick lately and I’m thinking about how it plays out in morrowind (at least the plot I’ve constructed in my head). The question of whether your past life and present life are fundamentally different people or not. And whether that even matters if the people who knew your original life don’t make a distinction between them and you.
The inherent tragedy of having to kill people your past life loved, who recognize you as someone they once loved, but the disconnect because you both are and are not that person.

"As they exited Trezza's office, Sidious moved his walking stick back and forth, tapping at the floor in front of him." (Windham, 75).
It interests me that Sidious chose the disguise of a blind man.
He presents himself as physically weak, but with the caveat of mysterious financial power and the requirement of a prepubescent boy for a bodyguard. He plays here at being disabled.
This disability theme happens again in Revenge of The Sith (ROTS). It is tied to being elderly. After his fight with Mace Windu, Sidious ages dramatically and is permanently "scarred and deformed" (ROTS). By the Original Trilogy, he is shambling and hunched.
I propose that he is donning the literary figure of the crone: a gendered, often supernatural evil role categorised by both extreme power and vulnerability.
He has vague witch-like magics with The Force and his curse-like orchestration of the Jedi's collapse. He cackles, and often holds the physical presence of these figures.
He takes the role of a Disney-esque "evil queen," black cloak and all. In a role reversal, he corrupts Snow White with the temptation of his princess, and turns him into the Hunter.
He also holds the trust and power of the patriarch in society, as well as the othered and feared matriarch outside of it. He is the Emperor, and before that, a politician, businessman and multi-billionaire.

I think I've figured it out— my very favorite thing to write is a dishonest character finally being driven to honesty. That breaking point where all the truth and associatwd emotions come spilling out, or are forcibly dragged into the light. I just can't get enough of that kinda stuff

Ok, so Impactor/Arcee, an idea Van gave me. There is so much that could be done here because they're both like warriors who think they have no place outside of battle and the best thing they can do is people's dirty work. They don't display care is ways that are socially expected or easily understood. They're not great at communicating emotion.
And you know how Arcee keeps trying to connect with people she feels she has an understanding with only to get cut short? Well, Impactor wouldn't do that to her because Impactor has no reason to. They would click and Impactor wouldn't feel any need to distance himself from Arcee because he already has a negative self value, even if he thinks that Arcee is a monster he also thinks he himself is a monster to whatever. And despite everything Impactor does allow himself a sense of camaderie with fellow Wreckers, so yeah, they would Connect. This would make Arcee very happy, not that she would call them friends, but they get each other, you see.
The thing were it gets good, is that Arcee is not only trying to change by nothing but her own will, she's actually succeding. She's trying to create a better world and changing her tactics for it, even if she still relies in her battle skills, even if said world has no place for her. And this is was would thick Impactor off. Impactor has a very bleak view of the world, and most of all himself. He thinks he's fundamentally incapable of changing. Looking at Arcee doing just that would make him think that they aren't alike after all. Or worse, it may make him confront the fact that if Arcee can change maybe he can too, which is not allowed because despite how absolutely miserable Impactor is, there is something comfortable in this hopelessness.
So either, Impactor drags Arcee down him with, or (if he actually cares for her) distances himself from her. Arcee is better off without him, she's not like him and she can't be who she wants to be if she clings to Impacto.r. Impactor is just funfamentally bad. Not that he would tell her is for her own good or anything. This would be yet another rejection for Arcee, but what's juicy about it is that it would be for the exact opposite as usual. Impactor wouldn't distance himself because she thinks Arcee is a crazy murderer, but because she think she's just way better than him. He recognizes Arcee for the complex person she is with a lot of potential for good and goes "nope". Also, not that Impactor would consider how much this would affect Arcee because he doesn't think he has any value as a recipient of affection. This is not at all helped by Arcee's struggles to verbalize her emotions.
