Soo,, I've been watching some of the witch's castle lore (thank you Royal Mike) and I just can't get this idea outta my mind..

The First Counsel of Everything AU

(In this AU, Witch's Castle came before Kingdom, and the gingercrew are basically stuck in a cycle of being rebaked as normal cookies until the counsel is needed again.)

The Counsel members (the gingergang) bellow the cut.

Gingerbrave - The Happy Emperor of Shadows.

The ruler of all shadow and darkness! Even if some of his recent subjects may not know it, though the oldest shadows that knew his rule definitely hope for his return again! With such a smile and kind personality, he made the shadows and darkness just as safe of a place that the light was, such a contrast to what it sadly is today. Debatably the leader of the counsel.

Strawberry Cookie - Queen of Imagination.

The shy ruler of all creativity, imagination, and dreams. Beloved by her subjects in the land of dreams, as she herself understands the love and care that goes into every art, even the ones baked up in the mind! Her thoughts can blend and bleed into the world by portals, making her a power house among the counsel. What she reigns over may never be in danger, but she will always spring back in to aid her friends and counsel!

Wizard Cookie - High Wizard of Insight.

No doubt deserving of his title, this High Wizard is the head of all magic, magical beings, and the smarts, too. He never seems to get a spell wrong, nor forget a face! The ones who follow his teachings can't deny that he's fit for the head of all magic. After all, what's a better fit than the one who got magic into every cookies' hands and books! His return is expected, as magic is in everything these days, and he is undeniably the brain of the counsel.

Gingerbright - Empress of Harmony.

The empress of all connections and harmony! All who can live in peace and friendship or thrive in their life with a bond, those are her subjects. Spirits and ghosts await her return, waiting for the cheerful giggles and unhinged sneers of command to lead them and the ones without leaders to whatever or wherever she will go. She is as kind, clever, and sweet as she is as threatening, and all who made an enemy of her sweat and tremble at the thought of her return. She seeks fun and adventure, and with her unity and harmony under soon threat, she no doubt will be with the rest of the counsel to stop the overflowing havoc to come.

Gingerdozer - Soft Emperor of Light.

Appearing the least, but no less one of the most vital, this is the ruler of light and divine. Few of his subjects know of him, but he is loved by those of his subjects who do. The boy's smile was said to have been able to bring light to a dark room and hope to the hopeless. The unity between light and dark came from his bond with his brother, and he kept the light in balance with the shadows. With how his divine light has changed for the worst, he is bound to wake and return the sharp, overwhelming light back to a soft, warm glow. Just as the counsel's second in command should!

Just for laughs #They're completely aware that by normal cookie age the ancients and beasts are old as hell #but they find it funny to say things like “Now listen here young man.” to them.#Strawberry says she's the princess of imagination shortly before one of her subjects peeks through a portal to say she's the queen #She literally reigns over the realm of dreams and creativity she kinda created #Their traces on earthbread are undeniable. But their names aren't remembered

This is my tier list for Lovestruck, found the template on the Lovestruck Amino. And to be clear this is how I feel about their official routes, not their character. For example, I love Alex's character and dynamic with MC, although I only liked their story.

⊹ ZOYA & THE EARLY YEARS OF HER IMMORTALITY: previously i have said how i fully believe decades ( possibly a century out ) from the start of her reign zoya would eventually abdicate the ravkan throne not to a child of her own but someone she believes is qualified for the job . because zoya’s entire arc is about learning that raw power cannot be unrooted from humanity she takes an active role in relinquishing some of her influence. her immortal life is long one and while being queen of ravka is an important part to it i hardly think it is the end destination for her. i think eventually she gives herself the grace and takes a step away from politics and diplomacy. when you live long enough the concept of nations and borders becomes almost frivolous. it is something a queen who has ruled as long as she has would become desensitized to which would make someone else better suited to take up the crown ━ someone with more skin in the game.

she has always been a near mythical thing and her immortality beginning to truly show only makes her seem less human and more diety. she knows the pitfalls of worship having seen what the people had done to alina in her martyrdom. so in a sense she enters her ‘retirement’ era somewhere where she can embrace the dragon’s eye fully as she feels more kindred to past lives she embodies as the years go on. i think she would make a life for herself in the sikurzoi mountains and nikolai would come with her. this is a phase of her life that she spends most in her dragon form because that is when she feels closest to the earth and the sky ( which coincides with the theory that dragons were actually the first squallers )

on this note, i have used the title moon-eater for zoya before and this is loosely based on the myth of the bakunawa from filipino mythology. the dragon is called this during her stay on the shu-han/ravkan border as her wing span seems to block out the moon itself when she takes flight. the locals believe her a creature of eclipse and a bringer of storms but she is still mostly viewed as a neutral force ━ not benevolent or evil she is simply nature running its course. she stays in the mountains for quite some time debating whether it is time for her to do as juris once did and forfeit her life to bestow her power upon another.

#been thinking about zoya and her years post ravkan reign a lot #the way she handled immortality compared to someone like the da.rkling for instance #when she is seen as someone who is ... more dragon than grisha in a sense #although in actuality the two are one in the same #i always said zoya does not want to live forever and her story will always be about stepping away from power for the greater good/#when push comes to shove #but that is not to say that she does not live MANY years and lead VERY different lives over the course of her time alive #𝖎𝖎𝖎. *ੈ ˖ ° ⥽ you gleamed like silver in the distance... ⥼ ⅋. about #me making meta posts on my canon verse? no one is more shocked than me
