I found this in my WIP doc earlier today - I’m not sure if I’ll ever finish it tbh.
Working Title: X-Factor Resurrection
Characters: Lorna & Wanda
Summary: A short little moment of sisterly bonding at the second Hellfire Gala
Lorna felt the chill hit her mouth before the drink’s sickly sweet taste cut through. She wrinkled her nose, before taking another sip of the drink, just to confirm. The jewels she was suspending in air just below her ears shook out of alignment for a moment.
“There’s no fucking alcohol in this shit,” Lorna grumbled. “I can’t believe they’re cutting me off.”
She let herself privately imagine what she would do to the Madrox who had served her the drink when she found them, and then Lorna sighed and let it go. She’d long since lost count of the number of drinks she’d had at the gala anyways. Maybe a little breather would be good for her.
Wanda was doing her best to hide an ever so subtle smirk. She was pretending to be fully focused on Lila Cheney’s set, humming bits of the tune as she had no idea what the words were. Lorna didn’t think Wanda had ever even listened to a Lila Cheney song - Wanda didn’t have a single song on her Spotify Wrapped that had been made after 1972. Lorna had made Wanda a lengthy playlist back in January, and despite Wanda swearing that she had given it a try, Lorna was unconvinced Wanda had ever even clicked play.
Maybe the ten hour runtime had scared her adopted sister off.
“Wanda… Did you turn my drink into soda?” Lorna asked, an edge to her voice.
“What? Me? I would never,” Wanda said, the smirk only growing slightly as she tried to proclaim innocence. “It’s rude of you to accuse me like that.”
Lorna furrowed her brow. “You totally did,” she pouted.
God, when are people going to stop treating me like a fucking kid? First Jean, now Wanda…
It had been a year since Jean had manipulated Lorna’s don’t pick me plea and gotten her elected to the X-Men. Jean always did what she thought was best, no matter what other people had to feel about it. And to make things worse, Jean had been fucking right - Lorna had loved just about every minute on this X-Men team, probably the first time in her life that she had actually wanted to be a part of the capeshit craziness.
Wanda shrugged, turning to face her sister. “I guess we will never know,” she teased slightly. “So, my dear sister… What’s next for Lorna Dane, PhD?” she asked earnestly.
Her hair was cascading all around her, at one point turning into a galaxy of magical stars. Wanda was positively glowing, no longer the Pretender, the mutant boogeyman - but finally the Redeemer, a great friend of Krakoa. Lorna knew that Wanda’s plans were for the future, now that she had finally hit her stride - she had talked about helping those in need, beyond just her calling with the Avengers. Wanda had even rattled off shop name ideas to Lorna late one night, when they were in couture PJs and eating ice cream out of the container as Legally Blonde played in the background.
“To be honest, Dr. Dane… has no fucking idea,” Lorna admitted.
A little bit of tension left her body as she admitted that. It felt good.
“Whatever it is, you’re going to do great,” Wanda promised. “You’ll figure it out - I know you will. Call it a witch’s intuition.”

Skeleton Invasion
Pariah's castle was boring, and since Danny had inherited it he hadn't really done anything with it, although he felt a little bad for the skeleton soldiers (even though he wasn't sure they actually had a personality, they always acted the same).
So he sent them on missions around the universes. They would probably cause a bit of chaos but they were the best option to investigate, since they couldn't die.
When one of them found many cracks to the Realms, he informed Danny immediately, and Danny sent more skeletons, just to be on the safe side.
Unbeknownst to him, the young King had caused panic in the DC universe. The Justice League wasn't sure what to make of the skeleton invasion (technically they weren't doing harm, they seemed to be wandering around and looking for something), it became a problem when they discovered what they were looking for.
Lazarus pits, the skeleton army was looking for Lazarus pits (Batman wondered if the skeleton's "master" wanted to use the pits), looking on in dismay, the League prepared for an impending invasion.
Though none of them expected a teenager emerging from a portal and congratulating the skeletons. What?

Why doesn't the justice league know about Amity Park?
Okay so it's been a bit sonce I watched the show but one of the things in DpxDC is the anti-ecto acts, which I love, but correct me if I'm wrong, I THINK ??? they only show up in reality trip? SO:
What if Danny, when using the gauntlet to undo everything, also got rid of the Anti-Ecto acts? but this is babys first time editing reality so he uh
Fucks Up A Lil'.
As a result when Danny used the reality gauntlet to wipe the AEA from existence he accidentally wiped Amity Park from perception.
A big 'nothing matters over here' jedi mind trick, and now no ones looking at Amity.
So, the Justice League actually WERE looking into and monitoring the situation in Amity, but when the perception filter closed them off, all of that suddenly went ignored.
This is noticed when someone (Alfred, Dick, Tim, literally anyone) realises theres just. A BIG dusty pile of case files semi abandoned somewhere in the cave when going through a (time period)ly cave cleaning.
They put it down because it's Not Important.
They come back to finish the cleaning the next day and do the exact same thing, but there's nothing to actually distract them this time and it pings as weird. Because why would case files be not important? They are by definition important, because only things flagged as important go into case files.
They try to get someone else to read it, because as long as they don't read the information in the file, they don't put it down.
That person goes to read it, gets a line in and then says something like 'that isn't important' and goes to leave. Person A pushes it and person B ALSO catches on.
Que the Batfam trying to figure out hey, what the fuck actually?
Meanwhile, how is Amity fairing? Canon compliant everything's going alright? Or have knock on effects to No One Look Here started to show?
#Another way for the JL not to notice amity park and not make the JL wildly incompetent#and if the anti ecto acts ARE a response to reign storm#then the JL doing their own investigations into it around that time checks out#plus it opens plenty of reasonable excuses for some of the more horrifying concepts to take place#oh an entire town only people inside it can percieve?#an entire organisation like the giw you could totally bullshit something like#they have anti ghost technology of COURSE the perception filter doesnt effect them#they made the anti filters when they realised they were unable to communicate outside the town#so thats how theyre getting funding and supplies in#(and that leaves a trail for the JL to follow)#YEAH#an entire town that cant be percieved#with a population that arguably the government has given free range on?#that sounds like a cadmus PLAYGROUND#dpxdc#dc x dp#dp x dc#dcxdp#danny phantom#story prompt#or starter?#lmao not sure
