when you and spencer share a room together on a case, you find yourself a little out of character at the revelation you’ll have to share a bed with him

You resign yourself to your fate as soon as Morgan refuses Spencer’s unspoken question.

“Absolutely not.”

It’s something that just comes with the job you suppose. Sometimes you have to spend a night sharing a dingy motel room with one of your teammates because you’re working a case in the middle of nowhere and the town you’re in has 200 people living there.

Okay. Maybe that was a bit of an exaggeration. There was 1,714 people living there.

But still.

You liked your own space and your own company and as much as you enjoyed Spencer’s presence you were exhausted and just wanted to get some rest without him rattling in your ear about how unhygienic hotel rooms were.

Of course, he didn’t know that you didn’t mind him. Your behavioural tells were nothing more than a slight softening of your eyes when he walked into a room, something that, although Morgan found riveting to tease you for, he couldn’t actually be sure was even true.

Still, your assumptions were correct, and after Garcia bagged Morgan and JJ stuck with Emily, you didn’t even have to glance in Hotch’s direction to know that he would be pairing with Rossi and leaving you with Spencer.

You can feel his eyes burn a hole into the side of your head as he comes to the same realisation, and you slide one of the room keys off the table before gesturing for him to follow after you with a nod of your head.

He does of course, trailing after you like a lost puppy and making your heart want to explode in your chest. But he didn’t know that.

You want to punch yourself sometimes for being so dismissive, and not just to Spencer. The team had treated you with nothing but kindness over the four years you’d worked with them. But some things just don’t change. And so you lock your emotions away and continue to put on a front to protect your self-perceived image.

The door struggles to open even after you unlock it, the hinge pin stiff and getting caught on the latch as you try to push it forwards, but you manage with a bit of extra effort.

The room isn’t pretty by any means, but it’s not horrible either. The walls are a clean cream, bordered by a white ceiling and a planked wooden floor. There’s a window on the right wall and a door to what you assume to be a bathroom on the left.

All well and good.

Well…

Maybe not.

You can feel Spencer’s apprehension mirror your own as the two of you stare at the room’s centre piece. A double bed. One double bed. A singular bed that you are going to have to share with Spencer Reid.

You imagine that his head is running through all of the germs it harbours. How hotel beds are unsanitary and that they’re dirtier than a toilet seat or something like that.

You didn’t care about germs.

You cared about the fact that you would have to share a bed with Spencer Reid.

You wonder if Morgan denied Spencer on purpose. Whether he knew that the rooms only had one bed each and that by saying no to sharing a room with Spencer you would have to and it would give him more opportunities to make fun of your seeming soft spot towards the genius.

Granted, you wouldn’t have been thrilled to share a bed with any of your teammates, but for some reason it was him that made you feel like you were about to implode on yourself. But he didn’t know that.

You’re sure that if you had bunked with Emily, JJ or even Morgan himself that you would’ve just sucked it up and gotten on with it, but something about the presence of Spencer Reid made you feel different. Nervous maybe? No, it was just- different.

You take a moment to compose yourself as Spencer slides past you into the room, closing your eyes and taking a deep breath in through your nose, although when you open them again Spencer is staring at you like you have a gun pointed at him and it almost makes you forget the situation you’ve found yourself in.

“I can- um-” Spencer purses his lips into a tight line, fiddling with his hands as he anxiously follows your expression. “I should go and ask Garcia to switch rooms-”

“You don’t want to share with me?” You’re not sure whether your question is rooted in concern for Spencer being uncomfortable or mild offence at the fact that he doesn’t want to share a room with you.

Either way it’s like you’ve dipped your vocal chords in ice and every word you speak washes down his back like a cold shower.

“I- No- I mean- I- You-” Spencer gives up on explaining himself with an exasperated sigh and a slump of his shoulders. He had no idea how to talk to you.

Every time you so much as glanced in his direction he felt like you were trying to bore a hole in his brain with your eyes and it was intimidating.

He was fascinated by your brain, by your knowledge and your inherent knack for human psychology, but you were scary, and it always left him afraid that he was going to do something wrong.

The worst part was it wasn’t even logically founded.

Apart from the intensity of your eyes and the frown you always had on your face you’d never actually been antagonistic to anyone. You were dismissive sure, not bothering to form emotional connections to the rest of the team and almost entirely keeping to yourself, but you were never nasty.

There was no hatred in the way you carried yourself, just disinterest. And that arguably made it worse.

“Reid.” Your voice cut through his train of thought like a knife, and his eyes turn up towards your own with a start. They’re big and round and they shine under the overhead light and you are really getting distracted focus dammit. “Are you comfortable staying in this room with me overnight or not?”

It’s about the time where you start berating your inherent lack of social grace again, your question sounding extremely harsh compared to the actual intention behind it.

“I- Yeah- Yes- I just- you don’t look very happy…” Spencer’s pretty sure this is the first time he’s ever mentioned your demeanour to you before, and he’s unsure whether to be proud of himself or to curl into a ball and disappear as he watches a small knit form in your eyebrows.

“I’m fine, let’s sleep.” You are not fine. For whatever reason your hands are sweaty and all of a sudden the room is a little too warm for your comfort. “I’m going to change in the bathroom,”

“Okay-” Spencer nods a little too enthusiastically for his own liking. Why was he so intimidated by you? It’s not like you’ve ever actually shown any distaste for him.

The minute you shut the door of the bathroom behind you you practically melt under your own body temperature.

But he didn’t know that.

Tho, with Corviknight i picked because of the knight theming, and Shiny Sylveon (my fav pkmn!!!) bc it reminded me of Aurora’s dress in Sleeping Beauty, and Galarian Rapidash because Silver’s in the equestrian club (and im saving reg rapidash for another character) I specifically see his sylveon as his ace pkmn and it would be common to see them walking around w the sylveon’s feelers wrapped around his arm in case he falls asleep at a poor time + imagined his whole team snuggling with him if he’d fall asleep in a safe area/guarding him in a less safe one. A/N: Sorry for the late post. Also, didn't know how to add angst in there, but I can make a new fic with some fluff and angst.

You were quite a young lad to join such a dangerous task force as the 141, but you were exceptionally skilled. Price has a tendency to adopt strays to his team. People who don't really fit anywhere. People who joined the military in search of a way to forget their past.

Laswell saw your file and immediately knew that you'd be the kind of person John would want. He was given your files first, getting scared that Laswell would even think of putting someone so young to such a dangerous task.

She only asked him to go see you for himself. He did as she told him and understood. You were a balloon packed with emotions that were ready to come out in the form of fuel to your never-ending energy. He had seen a lot of soldiers who had been bottling up their emotions, but none of them were able to use them in such a creative way.

He took a liking to you, and eventually, you were assigned to the task force. You weren't all cold. You just needed your time to find out if you want to be around a certain person or not.

You warmed up to them and were happy that you could share a laugh with someone. Although you loved it there, you noticed a certain someone staring in a different way than others. John was staring at you like he wanted to spend the night with you.

It amused you for many reasons. You never imagined that he'd be gay, but what was bugging you a little more than that was his age. You were in the belief that older men liked more mature people than people like you. You chuckled at the fact that John had a taste for the young blood.

Thanks to your young spirit, you decided to fuck with him a little. Giving him smiles every now and then. Patting him on the shoulder more often. And touching his hand, then winking at him when you were in the mood.

He realised what you were doing pretty quickly. He was a little annoyed, but holy shit, you don't know what you're doing to him. He is unable to focus with his hard-on. He has you on his mind almost all the time.

You enjoyed every second of it. That playful young mind inside of you wanted more. You wanted him to do something. Anything. You didn't want it you needed it. You wanted him to flirt back. Or to order you to fuck off.

It was excruciating that you weren't able to get a single reaction out of him. And at the same time, it made you want to chase your goal harder. You were really ambitious when it came to Price. You were chasing his approval like you chased the approval from your dad. The one you never truly got.

He noticed your chase and found it strangely adorable. Even tho he always gave you the cold shoulder, you never gave up. That was what attracted him the most.

It was a cold night, a very cold night. The heating system at the smaller base where you and the task force were stationed was broken. Hell, it probably never worked in the first place.

You were just at the smoke pit alone. You held a cigarette in your fingers and sat there on a rusty old guardrail. You were looking deep into the cold, dark night. You suddenly heard his voice.

"Aint ya too young for that?" He asked in a cocky tone. You ignored him completely which was fairly surprising since normally you'd be going at him already.

He observed you. You were shivering and all you wanted to do was to find a warm place to rest. He sat down next to you, flicking the cigarette out of your hand. You looked at him annoyed and he just laughed.

"You cold?" He asked you as if it wasn't obvious. You rolled your eyes to which he responded "I can make you warm." He even whispered it. That asshole. You shivered as a blush appeared on your face. You never expected him to make the first move. You were the one who always went to lick his feet.

You finally understood. He enjoyed it. Before you could think about it more he got up and said "Common now." He walked away and you ran after him, trying to catch up.

You were in front of his room, which he opened for you to get in. You waited for him to get in, not wanting to be rude. "Common, don't be shy." He was always able to turn people's actions against them due to his profession. What was different was that it wasn't him being an asshole. It was more of a teasing way.

You sat on his bed, and he sat next to you. You were still shivering, unable to control your body. He found a perfect opportunity to act. He pulled you down on the bed, pulling a blanket over you. He warmed you up by rubbing his hand on your arms.

The blanket caught the heat, and since you didn't want to be cold again, you were basically stuck with him. Not that you minded it or anything. He pulled you into his embrace, his hand exploring your thighs.

It got hotter very quickly. You decided to also make a move rather than just staying completely still. You moved your leg for him to have better access to you. He immediately took the hint and went for your belt.

He softly unbuckled your pants and put his hand inside them, feeling around your boxers. He played with you, and you could do nothing, then melt into his arms. He knew what he was doing. He doubled you in age, after all. (I believe his cannon age is 35, but let's pretend that he's 40+. Just for the sake of the fic.)

He knew right where to touch you, using only your almost unnoticeable reactions. He used his leg to pull your pants down completely and moved on top of you. He put his fingers under the waistband of your boxers, lifting them up.

"You ever done this before, darlin~?" You shook your head. You weren't a virgin, but this was your first time with a man, so you didn't know what to expect.

He chuckled, whispering "Tell me when it hurts." He said it like he knew it was not gonna be all sunshine and rainbows. You got prepared with his statement.

He pulled down your boxers and unbuckled his own belt. You tried looking him in the eyes since you didn't want to make things awkward. He teased you, "You sure you don't wanna take a look?" You eventually beat yourself to look down, seeing his size. You got startled but remained courageous.

He slipped into you, thrusting lightly. You expected a lot, but you never imagined this. He stretched you perfectly. He pushed his body down onto yours, whispering "Good boy~" and groaning every so often.

You finally understood. Price was waiting for this moment.

The stadium buzzed with excitement as the U-20 match between Blue Lock and their rivals reached its climax. Chigiri's performance on the field was incredible, his skill and determination evident with every move. Meanwhile, in the stands, you watched intently, the official manager of Blue Lock, cheering on the team you had grown so close to.

As the match concluded with Blue Lock's victory, the players celebrating in the field with the enthusiastic cheers of the crowd as background. You couldn't be more proud of them, a bunch of teenager boys- your teenager boys- just win against profesional team. Chigiri, in the middle of celebreting his win with his teamates, locked eyes with you.

You smiled brightly, so brightly that your watery eyes were half-closed by your big smile. Chigiri start running at your spot in the stands, ready to start a conversation with you.

"Hey, we win" he said breathlessly, a broad smile on his face as he reached you.

"I know, baby! You did it so well I'm so proud of you!" you replied with enthusiasm, jumping to give him a big bear hug. "You guys did it! You guys won- and you're my guys! My boyfriend just won against Japans u-20!

Chigiri just laughed as he lifted you off the ground and spun you around.

Before your conversation could continue, a voice interrupted from behind. "Chigiri!"

Letting you down, you turned around and you saw a woman approaching, her features mirroring Chigiri's in a softer, maternal way. Beside her was a younger girl, who bore a striking resemblance to Chigiri.

"Mom, Sis," Chigiri exclaimed, a mix of delight and apprehension in his voice.

His mother's eyes twinkled with pride. "You were amazing out there, sweetie! We're so proud of you."

Chigiri's sister nodded in agreement, but whe her gaze shifted to you she grinned mischievously. "And who's this? You're not gonna introduce her to us?" she asked, her tone playful.

Chigiri's cheeks reddened slightly. "Uh, this is y/n," he introduced, glancing at you nervous but happily. "She's the team manager... and my girlfriend." He ended up with a big soft smile

Both his mother and sister looked pleasantly surprised. "Oh, we didn't know you had a girlfriend!" his mother exclaimed, her smile widening.

"And a beautiful one!" his sister continued while she gave you a smile. "Damn, Chigiri," she teased, her eyes dancing with amusement. "You never told us you had such good taste in girlfriends."

Chigiri's embarrassment finally showed, and he tried to subtly nudge you away. "Mom, Sis-please." he muttered.

Chigiri's face turned an even brighter shade of red, much to the amusement of his family. You couldn't help but chuckle at the scene unfolding before you.

"It's a pleasure finally meeting you, Chigiri has told me a lot of things about you." You decided to step in, giving them a little but a respectful bow.

His mother beamed. "Well, it's lovely to finally meet you too. You must come over for dinner sometime."

"Who knew that the boy who used to make dance shows for his family would get a girlfriend? Where did our little singer, dancer and hairdresser go huh?" His sister said teasing.

Chigiri shot you an imploring look, silently begging for some form of rescue. But his sister only grinned wider, clearly enjoying her older brother's predicament.

As you exchanged pleasantries with Chigiri's family, you couldn't help but feel a surge of affection for this young man who had captured your heart. Despite his embarrassment, seeing him interact with his loved ones-and knowing you're one of them made your heart skipped a beat- filled you with warmth. Maybe, just maybe, these unexpected family encounters would be a new chapter in your relationship with Chigiri—a chapter that both of you will be expecting with enthusiasm.

[GOING SEVENTEEN] HIDE N SEEK ep. 53

SEVENTEEN's signature chase game 'HIDE N SEEK' is back 🤫

???: isn't it like... better than 'MOUSEBUSTERS?'

What awaits at the end after a crazily genius round of hiding and seeking? 😎

[Rules] - [Divide into two teams of six and switch roles for each round]

The first team had been formed, Dino as leader only had the support of Daisy while the others (Minghao, Woozi, Mingyu, Seokmin, Vernon) were forced to join. Never a day will pass where Daisy and Dino do not play each other's wingman.

«We will definitely win» - The opposing team led by Seungkwan was already starting to provoke Dino. «I don't know what it is but I get competitive with him» - Dino rolled his eyes as he shrugged his shoulders, starting a typical BooChan scene in GoSe.

At the beginning of the first round Dino and the "Not Logical" team had to deal with hiding objects and then finding the hiding team.

«Is it camouflage?» - Mingyu was trying to hide the megaphone as best he could. «It sticks out tho» - Daisy had joined him in hiding the objects, as well as Vernon who was standing next to the two of them. «Yeah it's too clean, clean and new» - Mingyu was holding the object, squaring its details until he pressed the power button which made, of course, noise.

«What's wrong with you?» - Vernon and Daisy said in unison, giving a side-eye to Mingyu who stood still to take the rebukes of the other two. Daisy hurriedly went to hide other random items: a poster board, a stuffed animal, a pillow. «Guys, it's time to go» - Dino shouted as soon as the staff began to keep track of the time available before the offense team Hot Pack advanced in looking for the items, but also to hide.

«Do you think they will find the objects?» - Minghao asked while waiting for the opposing team to hide. «I don't think so, Woozi and I did our best» - «Me too!» - Mingyu added, catching his second side-eye of the day.

«Okay, let's go! No wait, Daisy and Mingyu stay here with me, without fighting, the others will do all the work. You know, the beauty of having so many members» - Dino lay down in one of those lounge chairs inside this huge indoor playground, with Daisy on his right and Mingyu on his left, while the others split up to look for members of the opposing team.

«There's one there» - Daisy had seen very well one of the boys hiding behind some bushes and pointed him out without much gesture to Dokyeom who had approached them. «He's hiding there» - She continued to give directions. Do you want to know on whom? Jeonghan. He was hiding but knew he had been seen and begged for silence and not to go chasing after him.

[It's so good to see you]

«Should we chase him?» - Dokyeom looked at the three members who were relaxing. «No, leave him» - Dino replied as he closed his eyes, thus not seeing that Daisy and Dokyeom had already set off running in hopes of catching Jeonghan. «My soldiers are working hard» was the last thing he said before the shift ended. [Creative and funny moments].

[Round 2]

«I need to warm up» - Minghao said as he waited for the other team to hide the items, already inventing a way not to be found. He got under a box, all crouched down. «He fits!» - «He looks like a luggage!» - The others laughed at his choice of imaginative hiding while Daisy covered her face in embarrassment. «Why am I so happy about this?» - Daisy jumped as she looked for a good hiding place; She enjoyed games like that. She initially decided to hide by crouching behind a pillar, but once Joshua found Minghao she changed her mind.

She sat in the chairs placed next to Wonwoo, where those who were found also sat, including not only Minghao, but also Dino, DK, and Woozi: They had no hope of winning. «Did they find you?» - Minghao turned to her mimicking the words, since Jeonghan was there to guard them, but she waved off. «I'm hungry» - so she pretended to be caught by sitting there. «Want some?» - The guard Jeonghan pulled out some chips from his pocket which Daisy took in her hand to open but met Dino's gaze. «Give it to me» - «Here you go boss» - Daisy laughed and then Dino in turn handed the chips to Minghao, who had a lost look. «You take it» - Dino laughed even more and at that moment Daisy decided to release everyone by touching her hand first to Minghao's [A free woman] [Freedom is contagious] «You're free! You haven't got me yet!» - «Get her!» - Jeonghan shouted shocked at being teased.

Please check them I swear I heard so but don't tell them now or they will torture me all the time!!!» - What Daisy had heard was true, she was also conflicted about unmasking them during the announcement of the results but it was already funny to her that way!

quick question (pun intended, even though I’m not asking abt him XD) what is Shadow Man’s role/personality like in your AU? From what I’ve seen, it’s like he’s pretty young and Top Man is kind of his friend? Guardian?

Hiiiiiii, ur ask got me so excited I yelled in my car on my way home from work/so so so positive

So. The 3 bots!!! They are so so cute to me (I call everything cute) because I love that they were made to function specifically as a team! A team to travel space together and mine power crystals?? They are so fun.

After the events of the 3rd game (which I will. Hopefully draw out one day) the 3 bots actually get to do their job!!! (After a lot of convincing from dr.light to the government or w/e that these robots will not go rogue again.)

Top (the leader), Needle, Spark, Magnet, Hard, Snake and Gemini all travel into space in a giant ship (I like to imagine they reused gamma in some way for this…I haven’t drawn it out yet tho) and investigate interstellar power sources!

Their missions are going great and their reports back to Light are pretty normal! Until…

During one if his expeditions, Top stumbles upon an injured robot…in the middle of space??

Concerned, they take him back to their ship where he quickly charms the entire crew with his odd personality and adowable face. He doesn’t talk much, but he’s super excited to meet everyone, especially Top.

Eventually, they go back home to Earth and bring the mystery robot to Doctor Light but for some reason-

They have *absolutely* not clue what the hell he’s made out of. Although he has the looks of a robot, he seemingly doesn’t have any actually mechanical components! Anytime they try to get a reading on what’s goin on in there, the images come out blurry and weird. Light worries about what would happen if Wily heard about this mysterious life form….(spoiler alert. He totally hears about it later)

In the meantime, the 3 bots offer to keep an eye on him. Light allows it, and thus, we have the final full 3rd group!

With a great team spirit and hardworking attitudes the 3 bots have a bit more spice added to their lives with the addition of “Shadowman”! Named such due to his tendency to hide behind others like a shadow :^3

It must’ve been fate that lead them to each other…

(Spoiler. It wasn’t)

Anyways. TLDR- yes, Top is like a guardian of sorts for Shadow lmao. He found a weird space baby and said “yeah, I’ll adopt him.” Little did he know that the space baby had this all planned from the beginning.

Warnings: Some gore and blood, a little angst, non-graphic dipictions of injuries

Gender-Neutral!Reader // Romantic

For this request, I imagine your a relatively new member to Los Vaqueros

He was quite hard on you but that was because he actually did find you very attractive but he didn't want a situation like with Valeria to happen again

So he was often very cold and distant with you but that was just because he didn't want to get attached

So, when the two of you get seperated from the other Vaqueros, he knows he's completely screwed

The two of you duck into an old, abandoned house to hide from the enemy troops closing in

He was quickly trying to get back into contact with the rest of your team when he noticed your slow, sluggish movements and hand wrapped tightly around your middle

He knows the two of you are infinitely more fucked

"Are you hurt? Show me."

He is immediately at your side, supporting your weight as he lowers you down to lean against a nearby wall

With his urging, you pull your bloody hand away from the gunshot wound in your abdomen

"Shit..."

You glance down at the wound then back up at Alejandro, muttering with half-lidded eyes, "Colonel, you need to go and find the others before they find us."

"No," he says it immediately, pressing his hand onto the bleeding wound and trying to ignore your pained hiss, "No one gets left behind, vaquera/vaquero."

He quickly rifles through his vest, pulling out a stim shot

The voices of the enemy troops was getting louder and he knew they didn't have much time left

He drops his voice to a whisper, "This is going to hurt like a bitch, but you need to keep quiet. Here-"

He offers up his gloved hand, encouraging you to bite down before he gives you the stim shot

He uses a bit of cloth to pack into the wound and hauls you up off the ground

After the stim shot, your much more awake and aware, helping him take out enemy troops when he can

Eventually you make it back to the others, him immediately shouting out to them that you needed a medic

Others on your team began swarming you, pulling you away and he can't help the way his hands linger on your injured form

He watches as your helped into the helo to get further medical assistance from the medics

Rudy comes up and clasped a comforting hand onto Alejandro's shoulder, "They're going to be ok, amigo."

All he can do is nod as his gaze lingers on you while he loads into the helo as well

When they get back to base, he is immediately going to the medical ward to see you

Your sitting in one of the beds, rid of your tactical gear and in civvies

He tries to keep it professional, he really does

He strolls into the room, hands clasped politely behind his back as he watches the medic finish up bandaging your stitches

You perk up when you notice him standing by the door, "Colonel."

For once in his life, he doesn't know what to say as his eyes fixate on your bandaged wound

He settles for a respectful nod

The medic, noticing the obvious tension, looks between the two of you before excusing themselves

The two of you sit in awkward silence for a moment before you motion to the empty space on the bed, "You could... Sit? If you wanted..."

It frightens him how he doesn't think he would refuse anything you asked of him in that moment

He sits after a moment, quietly admitting, "I'm glad your ok."

"Thank you," You stare at him for a moment before biting your lip, slowly grabbing his hand in yours, "Thank you for not leaving me behind."

He is shocked

He doesn't understand because he had been so awful to you before

He likes it nonetheless

He looks at you and the two of you make eye contact

and he just doesn't care anymore

All the things that had been holding him back before crumble as he moves in slowly, one large hand coming up to rest against your cheek as he give you plenty of time to stop him

You don't, leaning up to meet him halfway as the two of you kiss softly

It was a small kiss but when he pulls away, he presses his forehead to yours and admits quietly to being scared of losing you

The two of you sit like that for a while before you eventually have to seperate

He promises to take you on an actual date and woo the fuck outta you when you feeling better =￣ω￣=

Reasons why YOU should ship Bolin and Wei Beifong:

1.Gay🏳️‍🌈

The Avatar universe has a lot of WLW characters, but not many MLM ones. And having another member of team avatar be comfirmed as queer is always a good thing (they're all canonicaly queer in my heart tho).

Also having Bolin be queer adds a lot of interesting dimension to the character, eapecially to his previous interactions with female love interests. I've always headcanoned Bolin as very comphet. Discovering you're queer is something I wish were more explored with Korrasami, but Bolin 'i have a new heterosexual love interest nearly every season' would also be an imteresting character to follow through that process. Feel like it would give him an existential crisis and I want to see that bisexual disaster happen.

Especially if contrasted by Wei, who comes from the very liberal Zaofu. Look me in the eyes and tell me Su doesn't support gay rights. Zaofu is like the gayest city in the Avatar universe. Just look at their slay outfits and Aiwei's cool nosering.

2.Good Chemistry

Between the cute little sparring moment with the pebble and the famed rescue scene, these two do have some excellent chemistry. Look at them. LOOK AT THEM.

The lil 'you impressed?' eyebrow raise and smirk from Bolin. Wei's smile. THE PAT PAT. Bolin's little confused bi moment. The fact that they're just CHILLIN with Bolin holding Wei bridal style while Toph is RIGHT THERE and the fact that they're in such a high stress situation and that the rest of Wei's family needs to be rescued. BUT NO, THEY'RE JUST STARING INTO EACH OTHER'S EYES BECAUSE THEY'RE IN LOVE, YOUR HONOUR.

3.Rivals to friends? to enemies to friends again to lovers???

Wei and Bolin's first interaction is a little squabble during sparring, where Wei sandwiches Bolin with 2 metal plates and Bolin smacks Wei with a pebble. They've got this whole cute little rivalry thing going on and i think it's adorable.

Assumedly, they start getting along more after Bolin and Opal start dating. This probably doesn't last long, since after Bolin joins Kuvira, his relationship with the Beifongs probably sours tremendously. Even outside of a shipping context I would wanna know what Bolin's relationship with the other Beifongs was at the time.

I imagine especially after the Beifongs get captured by Kuvira's forces, Wei wouldn't be too inclined to like Bolin. But when Bolin comes to rescue them, Wei is the first to get tossed over, which would require a lot of trust in both Lin and Bolin. And Wei's first interaction with Bolin after Bolin catches him is *ahem* very friendly. Which seems to imply that, at the very least, Bolin is somewhat forgiven.

I also think it's really fucking cute that Bolin brought metal wires for Wing and Wei to bend and I'm devastated that we didn't get the scene of him giving them to the twins. I am shaking my stick at the heavens as we speak.

Presumably, fighting side by side against Kuvira would have Wei and Bolin bonding more and perhaps striking up a genuine friendship. I love it when gays bond over traumatic events. It's the purest form of courtship.

Also whenever the twins are standing next to Bolin, Wei is always the one closer to the guy... like i know im grasping at straws here but i just... im not sane anymore

4.Lavabending/metalbending symbolism

Do I need to say more? They're both talented in two of the most prominent earthbending substyles. Also there is interesting symbolism to Bolin having struggled to learn metalbending his entire life and failing but then getting a metalbender boyfriend could be really cute. THEY LITERALLY COMPLETE EACH OTHER GUYS YOU DON'T UNDERSTAND

(also you can't tell me that Wei wouldn't find lavabending incredibly.... hot....)

5.Tension filled sparring

Their first interaction was a sparring session during which they were playing litte dirty tricks on each other. Also we all love sexually charged sparring sessions.

6.Detecting lies/performer symbolism

So I've kinda talked at length about how Bolin is a 'performer'. (Which @thenamescaba has pointed out could very well be masking. Bolin is very autism) Bolin often seems to act in a manner that would make people like him, rather than genuinely. Which is pretty in line qith his childhood. Assumedly being homeless didn't win him any perks socially, so now he's compensating by trying to garner as much positive attention as he can nowadays.

This can have an interesting contrast with Wei, who comes from a family with the ability to detect lies and assumedly also has this skill. I could totally imagine Wei calling Bolin out on contorting himself in order to be more likeable.

7.Height/Size difference

This is just self indulgent to be honest. I headcanon all the Beifongs as a pretty short family in general and while I'm pretty sure that Wei isn't very small, I have a soft spot for tall/average characters who are absolutely dwarfed by their giant, bulky partners. Also, how strong is Bolin because he is just holding a guy his age with apparently no effort???

8.Daring rescue/princess carry aesthetic

Listen, fairytales had this trope down pat for a reason. Sure it's cliche and overdone but it is a guilty pleasure for a lot of folks. Plus, I do think there's a lot of humour a usually capable metalbender having a major case of damsel-in-distressitis.

There is also the fact that the scene is unintentionally (or intentionally, i feel like SOMEONE in the writer's room has it out for me) paralleling the Nuktuk posters, for which Bolin posed with a love interest.

9. The Freedom/belonging contrasts

Now this here is a stretch, but an interesting and fun one. With Bolin we see a huge, underlying theme of him 'trying to find himself', practically feom the first season. He bounces from job to job, tries new things but nothing feels good enough. This probably stems from his childhood in the streets, he may be compensating for all the lost opportunities or something else. What does matter is that Bolin is 'untethered' and floating rather aimlessly, to his great distress. It's shown in book 2 that he envies the rest of team Avatar, who have already found their places in life.

Now, for Wei we can only use context clues and his siblings as reference but bear with me. We see that Suyin is a slightly overprotective mother, who would rather all her kids stay at home with her. We see this with Opal's hesitance to leave doe the Air Temples and with how harshly Su reacted when Kuvira nad Baatar Jr left Zaofu. This, paired with the fact that Wing and Wei are the only ones of their siblings who are 'upholding the legacy of their mother and grandmother ' might place them under a lot of pressure.

Therefore, Wei, in stark contrast to Bolin has a firmly set place in the world, one from which it would be incredibly difficult to free himself. This is completely different from Bolin, who , while he hasn't found himself yet has the freedom to be whomever he wants to.

One could set forth the idea that Wei and Bolin envy one another.

Bolin, envying Wei for having everything Bolin had wanted as a child. A stable family and life and a meaningful legacy. While Wei could be jealous of Bolin being able to forge his own path, instead of treading water.

10.Good angst potential

Being in love with your sisters boyfriend (why yes, I cannot look at Satisfied from Hamilton the same way, how did you know) is angsty even of itself, but then said boyfriend joins your fascist estranged siblings? Is this a greek tragedy? Especially that the twins and Opal seem rather close, so I think it would be unlikely that Wei would try to interfere in his sister's happiness.

Even as an unrequited romance, weilin provides a lot of potential for an amazing story. And we get to torture one of Toph's grandkids. As a treat.

On Bolin's side, realising you're queer can be a long and arduous process, especially if you've been taught otherwise. And I don't exactly believe the Triple Threats would be super accepting. This could also lead to some really sweet moments between Bolin and Mako, because Mako, for all his flaws is a very good big brother. And Korrasami could be the cool bi mentors. DO YOU SEE MY VISION. (Also Opal would be 100 percent supportive she's an absolute queen)

11.Good comedy potential

Just two himbos, dumb as the rocks they bend, tryna get together but both being too stupid and nervous to actually take the plunge.

Bolin is usually very forward with his advances, but perhaps trying to get with a guy the first time would feel like unfamiliar territory and make him even more nervous. And even so, Bolin's usual flirting is a sight to behold.

While we don't exactly know how Wei would react to this i can see him being a bit of a tsun. He just has that vibe. I could also see him not knowing how to react to being flirted with, since I can imagine that he spent most of his childhood isolated with his siblings.

I can totally imagine them both being much too awkward to make the first move and everyone around them being absolutely mentally exhausted by this weird little himbo mating ritual.

cheavy ramblings

Been thinking about the stinky BLU classic heavy from the comics lately. He's basically the villain of the final issues, and was practically built to be unlikeable from the start so his defeat could be more satisfying; buut since its been years since an update came out and I am slowly going insane, I think it would be funky to explore him more (bonus cmedic feature)

Few disclaimers: I'm not excusing his actions (I myself think hes a bitch) and I do NOT ship him with tf2 medic (also I dont think tf2 medic is unmasked cmedic bc 1)why would he sabotage himself in the issues by acting like That 2)uhh reasons later 3)this panel) also some of my takes aren't original, but I've expanded on em a bit

P1: Medic hater activities

As we all know, cheavy's greatest sin was dunking on + killing tf2 medic

Somehow he and tfc demo got sidetracked by medic's question, but the most hostile he gets towards tf2 medic here is jeering at the fact that they're going to hunt down his old team; which tf2 medic doesn't seem bothered by.

( @number1yisuchongfan actually brought this up before me) This panel pretty much sums up why cheavy is pissed: medic was implied to have a record of being weird with parts (he lost his license bc he stole a man's skeleton), he blew ALL of his budget meant for healing on exotic parts (that he put in cheavy's teammates), AND he revived the enemy (said enemy slips away a few panels later just as cheavy gets informed that three of his mercs died).

(also, the weird p3do tfc scout and soldier arent included in the 'three good men', since they died much later) Speaking of the 'good men' comment-

P2: Good leader at some point?? Not anymore tho

Hes gruff and an ass, but cheavy has a soft spot for his team; the tf2 mercs call each other strictly by their classes, but the tfc ones know each other names (also see cheavy's way of describing his dead teammates and his immediate reaction to go over there rather than curse/assume their incompetence)

He gets curious about australium, and from here on out he gets fixated on it- enough to be more unreasonable than usual. Cheavy is pretty amicable with Bea, and the way he acts with her is probably more in-character for what he was like back in his prime rather than the hot-tempered man that the later panels show.

I mean . He and his team were highly recommended and even took out ALL of the admin's elite teams, leaving the tf2 team for last. He may be a drill sergeant, but I don't think he was a genuine tyrant for most of his career; they aren't purely business-basis with each other (some of them formed close bonds, like fred and virgil), plus- any elite team would be able to capitalize on an overly prideful and control freaky leader (+a constantly demoralized team) sooner.

With three of his mercs dead and his plans failing against a team that he saw as rejects, the mental strain is showing badly. Tfc mercs don't have much personality in their games (or their own comic about them during their prime) but one of the few dynamics mentioned is between the Heavy and the Engineer+Medic. Tfc engie is the one who stepped up to ask about cheavy's plans, and he also gets the brunt of his anger. Earlier, cheavy answered bea's question and encouraged her, but now he's yelling and mocking the capabilities of one of the men he coordinates with the most.

Tfc scout's line may just be him not understanding/underestimating australium (esp since apparently cheavy had to ask grey mann what it even did), but it also reads as him seeing cheavy having officially gone off his rocker; his shaky grasp over leadership might kill the team before being deprived of yellow rocks does. Both scout and engie are thrown off by his attitude, implying that cheavy isn't usually like this (I can't imagine them being coordinated if they all shrimp away like that).

His line of thinking for both of these situations are pretty questionable. For the first one, he knows that the bots extract australium from the body, but he also knows that the mercs likely have nothing in them anyways (note the emphasis on his dead mercs, this is him taking revenge but also he is NAWT going to get any australium for those extra immortality machines which is still a pressing issue for his engie). In the second one, he first tells medic that they'll try figuring out how to stitch the machine on him, which leads to medic stabbing him and cheavy retaliating. Cheavy then goes all the way with attempting to kill him, stating that he'll just gets his answers from the administrator. Its soon revealed that he wants to fight tf2 heavy, but even that is ??? Like cheavy knows that he and his team are old as hell, but he's going to try having a fair fight with a guy in his prime anyways? He didn't even know that he could just slap on the machine at the time, and the unnecessary risk for what seems to be a quest to satisfy his ego is antithetical to his supposed goal of getting the rocks and making his team immortal. At this point, his hatred of medic has completely overridden his rationality; there were many ways for him to have killed both of them, yet he didn't take em.

P3: Cmedic

I saw some posts abt how cheavy is likely coded as homophobic due to how he treats medic (a presumably gay-coded character) bc of the "stay in the kitchen"-esque dialogue, and the way cheavy undermines him in verbal + physical ways. I do not have a very solid defense for this . aside from everything I listed before.

Just to clarify, I think its cheavy's fault for alienating medic from the start: loss of medical license aside, medic's inventions DO work splendidly for healing. Would it have been more concerning since medic is . meant to heal? Maybe. But mercs are literal murderers for hire, personality quirks should be the last of their priorities. The guy is passionate about showing off his stuff, and he was even enthusiastic about getting on the battlefield and healing cheavy. I'm not saying medic was going to be 100% loyal, but he's willing to do his job for the classics as long as he wasn't disrespected so damn much.

The tfc mercs with personalities are ones that oppose their tf2 counterpart; tfc sniper is a sadist rather than a swift professional, tfc pyro is...also a sadist rather than having tf2 pyro's misguided bubbliness, and cheavy does not respect his team's (current) medic. This in conjunction with the complete and utter lack of not just presence but also mention of tfc medic leads to the popular belief that the guy just up and left because of the disrespect.

(Writing inconsistencies be damned I like to cope) so what if it wasn't the case?

These are one of the few lines in tfc that describe a cooperative nature between certain classes. Like I mentioned earlier, tfc has less media compared to tf2 so its easy to slot personalities onto them as villains (tfc sniper's gun blowing people into giblets kinda helps), but I don't think these can be ignored. Fred was the one who represented the rest of the team's opinions to cheavy, and the phrasing in the second pic is even stronger; the heavymedic duo was always a thing, even in tfc.

Sort of. Gameplay-wise, cmedic is more like a roided out scout armed with a medkit that can give enemies and disguised spies tuberculosis, grenades that can send him across the map, and a gun that can destroy sentries (situational). He doesn't need to cling to his more offensive teammates as much as tf2 medic, and while his kit can instantly heal a teammate to full no matter the percentage + give overheal- its strictly melee ranged and has no ubercharge. In a narrative sense, cmedic would most likely oppose tf2 medic as a more 'grounded' healer. He prevents damage to his team by erasing enemies himself, doesn't go too overboard with his biochemical arsenal (his brew is potent but hes stuck with the melee-ranged kit and no crazy mechanic like uber), and can typically run off by himself (provided he isn't jumped by two soldiers or smth). Its a matter of game design, but can translate to the comics in an interesting way.

Medic is the only one who speaks of cmedic, and while the mention itself has no violent reaction- no one else speaks of him. I can't imagine him being easily forgotten since the heavymedic duo is just too iconic, so what if smth exceptionally horrible just happened to him? If cmedic was close to cheavy than everyone else, his loss/disappearance could explain cheavy's immediate dislike for tf2 med; not only replacing his own med, but with the complete opposite in terms of personality as well.

(I could expand on cmedic more, but this post is already long enough as is so I'll probably just make a separate one gah)

-i like how all the crew mates have different (but very valuable and nourishing) relationships with each other. usopp n luffy's is very sweet because they're still kids at heart (and probably always will be, at least a little) who live by their imaginations and for fun/joy. zoro washing chopper in the bathhouse. usopp and nami being voices of reason for very different reasons, usopp making her a weapon bc she admitted one of her weaknesses to him. nami's love for luffy coming out in concern and sternness because she knows what he's capable of but also how hard he can fall

-some of the emotional moments that affected me the most; nami getting a tattoo for belle mere, nokijo, and genzo. pell sacrificing his life for alabasta and flying the bomb into the sky. sanji n zeff's relationship.

-klahadore is the biggest lil bitch thus far. but shout out to his kitty cat crew for supporting him and trying not to deadname him

-really liked the mihawk fight bc even tho zoro got WHOOPED mihawk was clearly impressed, and let him live for a reason. he also said after watching luffy and zoro together that they were a good team. which.

-luffy and zoro making each other better and worse (depending on how u look at it) and the crew just having to accept that "ok yah. that's their relationship. they're crazy bastards who enable each other and they're dreams are entwined."

-zoro being a secret goofball. I could go on about it. but one of my favorite small moments was when he told the usopp pirates that they were cannibals and ate usopp

-nami has such big dreams but she's so scared to get her heartbroken again. she lost her mom, she thought she lost her town and sister when she went along with arlong..... everything is a defense mechanism. she's a survivor. and she's so hurt. but everyday, from the crew's love to luffy's kindness, she's learning to accept that the world isn't that bleak. that good people exist

-ace's tattoo. um. JUMPSCARE. but he is neat and loves luffy lots

-tony tony chopper I would die for u. kureha is an icon and now I totally understand why people want jamie lee curtis to play her

-i'm glad that luffy n co were able to heal the giants relationship on little garden and now they're broskis who can fight n drink together without worrying about the whole "TO DEATH!!!" thing. zoro trying to chop off his legs and then posing so that he'd look cool if he died is another notable highlight from that arc

-princess vivi and nami. I know what u are. but in all seriousness she was just sixteen and infiltrated a secret assassin organization for her kingdom!!! I love that she had igaram pose for her so she could say goodbye to the strawhat crew properly

-there's just so many good people trying to do the right thing in the face of massive adversity. no matter what the odds, they'll fight to their last breath for what they believe in. and if luffy's there, he'll make sure they don't have to (die, that is)

-luffy managing to befriend the weirdest animals that want to kill him and them eventually saving him (the lapins and the kung fu dungongs)

-luffy asking zoro to save smoker's life because he couldn't swim, and smoker letting luffy go instead of arresting him so he could try and save alabasta

-sanji smoking cigarettes in the middle of a fight and constantly wearing a suit for Aesthetics

-mihawk hunting down the red haired pirates in his coffin throne boat just to show shanks the bounty on luffy's head (also way to go bestie getting it up from 30 million to 100 million in like two weeks)

-zoro sleeping everywhere but mostly near the rest of the crew so he can eavesdrop / be close to them

-the straw hat crew being a bunch of wild animal ragers and turning any event into a PARTAAYYYYY

Get ready cuz this is a rideeeeeee

First I need to explain their relationship from the very beginning

Its a big

"I did what I thought was the best for you"

(AND ITS BOTH SIDES)

Growing up Splendid ended being that child who does everything, "the jack of all trades" kid, or being called "the gifted kid". He basically did things using recognition and praise as fuel until hie ended up crashing with a big burnout and a lot of high expectations on his back. Its to a point were he was being taken for granted, "Of course he would do that, he's Splendid after all"

In the end he noticed he had never lived for himself, it was always for the wishes of others.

And he wanted to protect his brother from that. He wanted him to have his own life, free from the gaze of others.

So he decided to take everything to himself so his brother wouldn't face the pressure or constant glares, of course, it came with the price of him growing distant from his brother for being way too busy.

But for Splendont, it ended with him becoming the child who was aways being compared, the "not good enough" one. So he just accepted that becoming his bitter self, becoming the opposite of his brother and not giving a fuck about what others think.

Then the war came and Splendid wanted to enlist with the intention of freeing himself from the weight of expectations for a while and trying to have some time to himself, perhaps follow his dreams of escapism that he had while reading comics.

And to his surprise, his brother wanted to enlist too. Splendid was against it but when Splendont set his mind or something, its too late.

Fast forward to after the war, it still a difficult relationship for both of them

Its not something they can just shake hands and be happy go lucky best brothers, there was a lot of negligence and postponing things for later until it was too late.

And they are too prideful to settle things down first or ask for help, in that aspect, you can see how much they are alike

NOW LETS GO BACK TO SILLY STUFF

Splendid is the oldest twin just by a few minutes

They live in the same house and this makes a scene in chapter 3 hilarious, Splendid knew exactly were his brother went after leaving him alone in the street "Bro, I literally live with you"

They have nicknames, Splendid can be called as Did and Splendont can be called as Don (yeah, without the "t" because the amount of puns it was possible doing with it made him soooooo mad XD)

Splendid had a wish of becoming a photographer, the idea of freezing memories eternally console him from his reality, but OH BOI, do we have some news for him

Splendont doesn't like wearing the hat from his uniform, the first chance he gets, he's taking it off, Splendid its not a fan of it too, but he tries to hide it and show he follows the rules.

They do dumb competitions against each other (Splendid wont admit it out loud but he's extremely competitive), like getting to the end of a corridor first, getting in the line first etc

Sometimes they will team up to piss off Flippy, they have many inside jokes about acting like is the end of the world every time Flippy shows any respect

They would look like this in human form. As they are twins, Splendont is basically a red Splendid if he didn't tie his hair, and yes, they have an ahoge, NOBODY IS STOPPING MEEEEEEEEEEEE

They are conventionally handsome while Flippy is that one analogue horror looking friend, so you can imagine what the three look like together (Flaky has shoujo filters in her eyes, she grew up with him)

Splendid has a bad vision when it comes to reading things up close. He sees it as a weakness someone could use against him, so he tries to hide it, sometimes he forgets his glasses at home

but somebody dont.

Then he proceeds to throw a chair at him

"NOW you can see it coming" XDDDDDDD

As much as Did tries his best to keeps things civilized, sometimes he has a huge family drama fight at work with his brother while Flippy is in the background asking himself "Could I use this as blackmail?" QHAUHUHAUAHUAHUAHUAHAHA

But why Splendont decided to join the army in the first place? I leave that interpretation to you, what do you think it was? kekekekeke

Warning: Wrong number, meet cute(sort of?

Summary: Base on solid intel, Steve leads a group of agents to storm a house. Turns out, the intel is not so solid after all...

A/N: My sixth entry to the bingo challenge hosted by @the-slumberparty.

He has been observing this house in stealth mode. A binocular in hand, laying in the grass, between the tiny crack in the bushes. The edge of his blunt shield digs into his back. Not much pain, thankfully. Not heavy either. Which he counts as a blessing for a mission that requires silent infiltration.

He is in this position in his smothering suit for fifteen minutes, waiting for three other agents to recon and five others to guard all exits.

"This is Agent Johnson. I'm detecting activities inside the building." An agent reports in the comms.

Steve could hear the tension in Agent Johnson's voice. Steve doesn't blame him. Before Ultron, it used to be superheroes running around saving lives. After the new compound was established, all Avengers were in favor of recruiting agents and forming task forces, operation teams, and such. The name of this project is still temporary. Natasha and Clint are competing to come up with something short and catchy. But in general, it is the first time that Steve leads "Avengers Operation Team" on a mission.

Steve knows (he would bet a hundred bucks on it, in fact) that every one of them feels obligated to impress the American hero, or not make a fool of themselves at the very least.

"All agents, stand by." Steve issues a brief command, "Johnson, do you have eyes on the target?"

From his angle, Steve only has the front of the house in visual. He could see the delicate rose bushes and a small patch of strawberry growing in the front yard. Plain two-stories house with a brown welcome mat.

However, he understands that looks can be deceptive. This cozy little place could well be a safe house for one of the notorious Triad crime lords, Chiang Kai-Dong. (Maria Hill said she helped pick out a "simple" mission, by the way, said it helps with morale.)

"Negative, Sir. I have visual on a woman. No Chiang in sight." Johnson replies.

It was an easy decision to make. Steve retreats from his position and grabs the shield in his hand, taking small steps to the house, "Johnson, Fletcher, stay in your position, watch our six and any movement in the house. The rest of you, approach both exits in stealth and wait for my instruction. Careful of any possible traps or cameras. Chiang gets spooked easily. We are only here because we were able to trace his fresh burner phone."

"Copy." "Copy."

Steve makes it to the doorstep as soon as other agents. "On my mark. Three, two, one. Breach!"

One agent kicks the door open. The wooden plank falls to the ground like a slice of crunchy toast, completely unhinged from the doorway. Steve leads, heading inside the house, holding his shield up to protect himself and two agents on his back.

"Hands where I can see them! Show me your hands!"

Apparently, those agents who comes in through the back door is a little faster than he is, already yelling to whoever is in front of them.

You let out a startled cry, frozen at your spot on the sofa, with your mug on the floor and coffee ruining the beige blanket on your knees. You have your hands in the air, face pale as paper, and your eyes rounded with fear.

You are a woman, obviously, and definitely not the man, Chiang, they were looking for.

Two agents are guarding front and back, while Steve leads the rest to do a sweep of the second floor.

"Clear!" "Clear!" "Clear!"

All he can see is a place where a single woman lives. No signs of a man. No extra toothbrush, no male clothing, nothing that could link you downstairs and Chiang together.

He heads back downstairs. You still having your hands in the air and not daring to move a muscle.

"All clear." Steve nods to Agent Degan, before the latter pulls out a photo from her pocket and shows it to you.

"Have you ever seen this man?" Agent Degan removes her hand from the gun, reaching out her arm so that you could get a clear look at the photo.

You tremble. After looking at the photo carefully, you shake your head in a rush, "No-no. I've never seen him."

"Sir?" Agent Degan turns to Steve, "I suggest we take her back to the compound to investigate."

Steve raises his hand to pause her. He patches through Maria in a second. Maybe his intuition is correct. Maybe they stormed a wrong house.

"Hill, I need you to run cell tracing again. Are you certain that Chiang's burner is still emitting signals in this house? We searched the place and no sign of Chiang. A woman lives in this house, and I don't see anything that could count as evidence."

"Hold on, Cap." Hill replies immediately, "The intel is solid, his phone pings right where you are. Wait-"

Some hushed whispers, sounds like Maria covers her comms for a brief moment.

"Steve, I don't know how to break this to you, so I'm going to tell you exactly what happened." Maria lets out a sigh, "One of our analysts traced the wrong number. Chiang is in Myanmar, not upstate New York."

Steve doesn't know whether he is relieved or worrying more, "Thank you, Hill. We'll call it a day and head back to the compound. " Steve gestures for all agents in the room to put down their weapons.

"Ma'am, we are very sorry to disturb you." Steve unclasps his helmet, half kneeling to the ground to look you right in the eyes, "Any damages caused by my team will be fully compensated by Avengers Restore & Rebuild Foundation. You can contact the number on this card. We also have therapy available for such circumstances. The Foundation would give you more information on your compensation, both physically and mentally."

"Thank-Thank you?" You hesitate on whether to take the business card he whips out of his utility belt, but one look at his serious expression, you gulp and take the card - with both hands.

You are only glad that you don't have to raise your hands anymore. And you suppose guns and heavily armed agents are going to haunt your dreams for quite some time.

"Have a nice day, ma'am. And again, I'm really sorry for this." Steve shakes your hand with a polite smile, before exiting your house.

Bonus:

"Stop it, Rogers. You are making my head spin." Natasha grunts with utter annoyance.

Steve has been pacing in the living room for half an hour, and it doesn't seem like he is going to stop for the foreseeable future.

Tony walks in with a file in hand, announcing his presence the second he steps foot in the room, "I've got it! I've got it. Name, age, date of birth, email address, education records, work experience. Ohhh. She likes history museums-" Tony winks to Natasha over his sunglasses, "She'll like this old fella here, I'm sure."

Steve rolls his eyes, letting go of the comment where Tony just compared him to museum and history. Even so, he has to chime in for his own sake, "Guys, I'm not asking her to work here. I'm trying to decide whether I should ask her out on a date."

Clint, still sleepy from last night's stakeout mission and lying on the couch with his feet on the coffee table, groans and covers his eyes with his arm, "Just ask her out, man. I don't know what the fuss is about."

"The fuss is, Green Arrow," Tony sniggers when he comes up with another nickname for Clint, earning a smothered laugh from Natasha, "that our beloved Captain America here stormed into the wrong building last week with half a dozen agents armed to the teeth, scaring the shit out of sweet Y/N."

"Then don't ask her out." Clint grumbles, turning over and pressing a couch pillow to his ears.

Noticing Steve's eyes zeroing on herself, Natasha shrugs, "Don't look at me. It's your call."

With all the focus from the room (apart from Clint's), Steve takes a deep breath and dials the number.

The wrong number for Chiang, but the right number for you, he hopes.

Diasomnia time!

Yes, Lilia is a cheater. Anyway-

Noivern is just a given, and I’m not entirely sure what Gliscor is, I’m sure that it’s obvious, but it’s bat-like enough for me and suits him better than something Crowbat or smth. Grimmsnarl is both a dark type and fairy type, plus it does fit him well so yea. Both Tinkaton and Bewear are cute yet could easily kill you. Also I saw a cute fanart of Lilia with a Tinkaton once, so I had to give him one. Kangaskhan bc Lilia is also a parent and Sneasler bc I wanted to give Lilia a Hisuan pkmn and I thought Sneasler fit him

Thoughts: electric and fairy pkmn. Along with normal and fighting types bc of the half-human thing and him being a guard for Malleus. Zebstrika bc equestrian club (and also that fanart of Sebek calling his Zebstrika a Unovian Rapidash?? I love him and that fanart) Manectric bc electric plus it just suited him. Mawile bc I wanted a fairy type and idk. Just wanted to give him another fairy type. Granbull bc it’s a fairy type that doesn’t look like one and I thought that it just reminded me of him!! Gallade, like I said, is bc of the fact that Sebek is one of Mal’s guards, and finally he has an Eevee that still hasn’t evolved yet. It just doesn’t want to choose!

Some pretty easy picks for him. Musharna and Shiinotic due to his narcolepsy, Galarian Rapidash bc of equestrian club, Aegislash bc just like Sebek, Silver’s one of Mal’s guards (plus Silv is partially based on the sword that kills Maleficent, or at least, is theorized to be) and Floette bc fairy type and it gives me his vibes. I will say that I’d want it to have a purple flower (though I do not think those exist in canon pkmn) bc I associate three different twst characters with the same flower, and so each of them has to have a different coloration of the flower, and Silver gets the purple poppy. Driftloon is there bc I’ve seen people give him one and I think it’s a funny idea, so I gave him one too

Malleus actually hates us/j

But fr, I once saw someone give him 12 pkmn, and, yeah. Mal would be the kind to do that. I did only give him 11 tho! So, not as bad! (Unless he pulls a Volo and has Giratina pull out it’s original form, then yeah, 12 pkmn, but oh well-)

My thoughts: d r a g o n & legendaries. + Porygon bc of his tomodatchi. Oh and Florges bc of Maleficent’s thorn + queen stuff. And I like to associate Mal with black poppies, but again, I don’t think that coloration exists in pkmn? Just imagine, okay? (Maybe I should’ve given Ortho a white Flebebe lol) Cresselia Does Not want to be on Mal’s team I feel. Maybe if this AU had an actual plot line then I’d be able to say that during Malleus’s rampage, Cresselia changes teams. The only other thing I have to say is that I chose Zekrom bc 1) lightning and 2) Zekrom’s theme is ideals. So, yeah. Plus color coding! How wonderful it worked out that way!

As a bonus, I did give everyone else a legendary too, for again, hypothetical plot line reasons

Yuu would have Reshiram, representing truth and inversing Malleus’s Zekrom, Lilia has Lunala bc of the fae of the night thing, it suits him, and I once saw someone give him one. Zacian for Silver bc 1) again, he’s probably based on the sword and 2) he matches with Sebek’s Zamazenta. Also, I once saw someone say that they hc Sebek to be partially based off of the shield, and I Love That?? So yeah. (This is also why I didn’t give Cresselia to Silver instead of Malleus)

Anyway, yeah.

carl grimes headcannons because we lack of anything for him and i can (most, if not all, are just non-apocalypse headcannons):

- autistic (we are starting off strong here)

- vocally stims vines sometimes (“road work ahead? uh yeah i sure hope it does”, “look at all those chickens”, “i wanna be a cowboy baby”) (he does that last one in front of rick a lot and rick never understands it’s from vine)

- judith: “daddy?”

- carl: “DO I LOOK LIKE-?”

- glenn taught him a lot of stupid jokes like “ligma” and “joe mama” (the usual college kid jokes)

- would use the “joe mama” joke on judith a lot

- judith would retaliate with ligma jokes (“we have the same mom idiot”)

- no one knows where she learnt that one

- loved science as a kid

- switched between wanting to become a cop like rick or an astronomer

- thought about being a palaeontologist but couldn’t see himself doing it for the rest of his life

- didn’t have a lot of friends but was still liked by other kids anyways (doesn’t mean he’s popular, people are just neutral about him)

- is on a swim team

- just likes swimming in general

- MOMMA’S BOY!!!!!

- then lori died so he made that transition over to his dad…yeah

- keeps his hair long and went through that teenage grunge phase

- listens to bands like oasis, los campensinos, nirvana, foo fighters, etc etc

- his parents music taste would sneak in sometimes tho like fleetwood mac, abba (lori) bob dylan, johnny cash (rick), any 80’s songs and old country (below the 70’s)

- because of that grunge phase he’d 100% play the electric guitar

- his grandpa taught him a bit of acoustic whenever they’d visit

- he plays the acoustic sometimes for judith, or anyone in his family who asks, but mainly judith

- plays more chill songs like something you’d find in the ‘life is strange’ soundtrack (bright eyes, angus and julia stone, iron & wine) (most of those are from enid’s music taste)

- rick and michonne let him use the garage but it still drives them up the walls when he jams out with friends

- doesn’t understand the superbowl but because his dad likes it he makes an effort to watch it with him because no one else will

- jump scares any unsuspecting victim when they turn the corner of a wall

- to calm down whenever he’s stressed/overwhelmed/overstimulated he’ll either go swimming or ask his grandparents to come over (they own a farm) to ride some horses

- allergic to peanuts (not pecans because they had to eat some when they met Gabriel so)

- hates anything deep fried except for fish

- terrible in any form of skating

- roller skating? keeps slamming into the wall

- ice skating? uses those kid-balance-crutches-thingys

- he just has terrible coordination

- obviously gets worse when he looses his eye

- he’s good at bowling tho

- even tho he’s a moody teenager he’s EXTREMELY kind

- switches from sciences to arts and english in high school

- started making little family portraits drawings

- can actually understand old english/shakespeare

- makes blanket forts with judith 24/7

- actually does have a southern accent it’s just more like loris (less noticeable than ricks)

- would 100% watch minecraft youtubers

- bisexual little shit (duh)

- when he was a kid he didn’t have a fear of needles but as he grew up he just DESPISED them like shaking screaming crying and throwing up type deal

- hums a lot to judith, usually the song “baby mine”

- snapchat user

- embarrassingly so. especially when he uses the filters

- has a diary and calls it a diary not a journal

- drops trauma like it’s nothing, like a silly joke (this is basically canon but i’ll still include it in)

- headphones on 24/7 might as well be glued to his head (his ears are too small for earphones and he likes soundproof headphones anyways)

- an entire shelf in his closet is just for comics (and some comics are thin so you can imagine how many he has)

- likes reading other things too instead of just comics

- refuses to wear elastics/tie his hair up even if it gets in his way a lot

- let’s judith put silly hairclips in it

- sometimes forgets to take them out when he gets to school but he doesn’t care much

- would watch: the office, brooklyn nine-nine, the breakfast club & moral orel
