anyway i spent an hour watching this ten minute episode. sorry for maybe a weak reaction post i need to stir this episode in my head like a soup. thank you plates for your recommendation. join me in the rbs later as i may watch episode B and experience whatever tonal whiplash this episode came with

finally finished farhenheit 451 for class and i liked it a lot. i will state a disclaimer that my review is gonna be skewed since i was reading and analyzing it on a suffocating timer of less than a week on top of my other classwork and Work work. i know i wouldve enjoyed it a lot more if i wasnt going through it with the constant thought of "oh my god im running out of time"

anyway i REALLY liked bradburys use of symbolism and metaphor and description of common things as abstract concepts. also just how he sets the tone and speed of individual scenes. honestly by his writing alone every other adaptation is straight up inferior simply because it doesnt have it. youre absolutely not going to get the same feeling watching a movie adaptation as you would reading the book because you cant referred to a tv as a wall of families when you look at it and its just. a tv

most importantly though i found the message to be very realistic and honest and not at all the "books are the True Light everything Sucks without books just because theyre Books" kind of superiority complex i half expected. in fact, its ironic that i went in with that assumption since there are multiple points in the story that drive in that technology isnt all brainwashing and books arent inherently going to make you wiser. one of the characters at the end states that even when they had books they werent truly doing anything with them. the message seemed to moreso be about like. genuinely taking in the world around you and all the knowledge and memories it contains instead of just constantly feeding yourself instant gratification via tv and radio shows (examples today being social media and doomscrolling and only watching videos under fifteen minutes). were for real conditioning our minds to only want to take in surface level ten second information and we like to call it the consequences of adhd or depression or whatever but i really think its becoming a universal issue in this age. like even when i was doing my study guides for the book i was mindlessly opening and closing discord and tumblr and grasping absolutely nothing from them but images i wont remember the second i get back to my study guide. anyway ill cease that rant i need to get to bed

bradbury also does a really good job of utilizing his characters for the narrative. they all have their purpose and analyzing it i felt like this man stayed up all night every night trying to draw lines between factors in his own story. it all feels so real and meaningful. the scene where montags floating down the river feels especially profound against the chaos of the rest of the book

also. i love you captain beatty he was expertly used in the narrative. nobody fucking gets you like i do

i dont really have any complaints honestly. it wasnt like an Amazing book but it was genuinely really good and i can see why its been called a classic. you can really feel the depth of its thought and meaning and how much heart bradbury put into it. great book

A year after the events from the earth’s final attack, Little Homeworld is finally complete, and there’s a new jazz bar where gems and humans mingle and drink. - As you’re typing back a reply, someone pulls the stool out next to you and takes a seat. You see a sliver of pink out of the corner of your eye as you try not to actually Look. Oh god. It’s her. God can’t help us now.

The place actually happened to be like, right on the edge of Little Homeworld. Outside had full glass windows, tall, that reached the ceiling. Inside the lighting was dim, and a bit smokey. You figured it looked alright enough to head in, and gave the bouncer your ID. He nodded and you walked in. It smelt of cigars, and of cinnamon, and it wasn’t entirely unpleasant. A pretty woman in a low-cut red dress was playing the piano on the stage, and it was some contemporary jazz piece. The low murmur of people talking filled the air in between the swells of music, and the place actually seemed busy with people and even gems enjoying themselves. You liked the vibe. It was.. comfortable. At ease. You looked over at the bar, rather than any of the tables, and saw a spot near the end. Perfect. Right by the bathroom. You headed over and plopped down on the stool. There were three empty at the end, so you took the one in the middle, which had the best view of the stage from back here.

While waiting for the bartender to come back down this side, you took the chance to look  at the people around you. A couple familiar faces.. small town you know? And some new ones. New gems too. You can see Mr. Fryman sitting at a table with Kofi and Nanefua, and they look like they’re playing poker. You try not to snicker since Kofi looks absolutely blasted, and Mr. Fryman is cursing up a storm because Nanefua is clearly winning. You see her wink at Mr. Fryman. You suspect a rigged game.

Your phone chimes a couple times. You pull it out of your bag, and check to see who’s bothering you. Ah. The group chat.

    Alex: ughhh you guys my gmas killing me

    Alex: no seriously mexico fucking blows rn 

    Alex: i cant step outside without feeling like my balls are melting off my body

    Alex: and my brother won’t stop listening to the book of mormon soundtrack

    Alex: im going insane

Your friends are so melodramatic. You type out a couple of replies.

    Y/N: You should be used to mexican summers by now, you go every year.

    Y/N: And for the record, your brother is valid. Book of Mormon slaps.

“Y/N! So you finally came to see what this place is all about! What can I get ya?” you hear a familiar voice ask. Turning around to face the voice, you see Bismuth wearing her usual overalls and a rather nice looking bow tie. 

“Hey Bis, how’s it going? I like what you’ve done with the place. It’s nice. And uh, I’ll just take a hard cider for now.” You smile at her and set your phone down for a minute.

“Thank you! After we finished Little Homeworld, I had to find something else to focus on in my down time.” She explains while grabbing your drink from the fridge under her side of the bar, and opens it. “So tell me,” She sits the drink in front of you and leans on the counter. “What brings you out here today?”

You take a rather long sip from your drink before meeting the large gems eyes. On the stage, a tall, beardy man replaces the woman that just finished her piece. He immediately starts this jaunty, irish tune. He’s singing loudly, and it’s not bad. A couple of people are clapping to the tune.

“I just really needed to get out.” You replied, taking another sip from your drink. “I was kinda hoping I’d meet someone new, maybe get another friend to hang out with, since my friends wanted to ditch me this summer.” As you’re saying this, more people join the clapping. It’s getting a bit rowdy. “Or maybe at least get drunk enough to forget how lonely I feel.” You add, shrugging. 

“Well, I can supply the drinks, and at least a bit of company.” Bismuth winks, and turns to the patron 6 seats up waving her over. 

You check your phone again, and there’s more from Alex. AND Harper? She must still have phone service wherever she’s at.     Alex: what are u fuckin doin that so important that u cant play minecraft with ur best friend

    Harper: yeah, Y/N. the heck. Also alex, get lost, she’s MY best friend bitch

    Alex: u had ur chances but u left us so we’re a duo now. u can go

    Harper: excuse me!? I WILL end you.

    Y/N: Oh my god, chill. I’m just out right now, so I can’t okay? 

    Y/N: And nice of you to join us, Harper.

    Harper: fuck you I miss you okay. And I miss constant wifi :(

You put your phone down before seeing whatever Alex attempts to reply back with. It sounds like the current boisterous song is coming to a close, and really, most of the people here are clapping along with this guy. It’s fun. And despite the playful ribbing from your shit-talking friends, you’re starting to have a nice time. You finish your drink, and nod over to Bismuth who catches your eye and nods back. You look over onto the stage, the man having cleared the piano, and see Lapis wiping down the piano and seat. Guess he spilled his drink while playing. Lapis, unlike Bismuth, actually dressed up a bit for the job. Her hair was pulled in a cute, small bun, and she was wearing what looks like a tailored tux with no jacket. The vest fit her quite well. She seemed.. happy. Good for her.

No one had taken up the stage again yet, but the place was still lively with chatter. You see someone out of the corner of your eye move towards the stage, but Bismuth comes over again so you tear your gaze away. 

“Another cider? Or do you want something else this time, Y/N? She asks, cleaning a glass with a rag, and moves on to the next one. 

“Ehh, yeah, give me another cider.” You say as you pull out your phone again. Bismuth sets down the drink in front of you.

    Harper: what a goddamn disaster. she got that from me i think

    Alex: no, youre both disasters separately

    Y/N: Fuck you guys. Give me a break.

You hear the piano start to play again, and someone pulling the mic forward. You look up to see pink hair.. And someone kind of familiar. She’s wearing black slacks, a white collared shirt, and suspenders. The shirt is partially open, and you see part of a pink gem showing through on her chest. It looks like she’s got mascara running down her face. 

And then.. she starts to sing. 

It’s lovely. It’s slow and a bit sad, but she seems to be enjoying herself. She’s definitely done this before. Quite a few of the people around quiet down some, so you can hear her pretty clearly. You drink some, and text your friends.

    Y/N: Guys, I lied. There’s a cute gem here who can sing.

    Alex: holy fuk

    Alex: what

    Y/N: She looks kind of familiar though? I can’t quite place it though.

    Harper: dude theres like near 100 gems now in little homeworld lol

    Harper: you’ve probs seen most in passing? :P

    Alex: are you serious Y/N? cant flirt with human women so u turn to aliens? lmfao

    Y/N: Ohhhhh my god. Die.

The gem on stage sings the chorus with gusto - man she’s really getting into this. You’re kind of taken a bit with her performance. It just pulls you. But also.. She really seems familiar now and it’s bothering you.

    Y/N: No I’m serious she seems really familiar and not in that In Passing kind of way.

    Harper: what does she look like?

    Alex: yeah a description would be nice 

    Harper: TAKE A PIC

    Alex: holy shit YES

You turn on your camera app, and face the stage. Looks like the gem is actually finishing up her song. Perfect, you’ll snap a pic once she stands up. She finishes, and most of the people are clapping for her. You zoom in, and it’s grainy, but decent enough to make out most of her. You snap the pic.

The flash was on.

A couple people turn to look at you, and you try turning away quickly, horrified, and see the gem looking in your direction before walking off into the crowd of people. You cannot imagine a worse scenario. 

    Y/N: FUCK FUCCCCKKKKKK.

HOW I RUN MY BLOG.

SPEED: i ... uhh well it depends. if im in the zone i can volley back and forth pretty fast. but i do get tired of it after a while and there is no real formula for figuring out what a while is lol. when it comes to not being in the zone... well i take my time and only reply when i feel i can. i work 40 hrs a week at a crazy job that leaves me going fdkljdlgfdjlgf all the time but i AM on new meds that might help me be faster. so the answer is SHRUGS

REPLIES: ehhh. sometimes the shorter the better bc i like a lot of dialogue. i’ve always been like.. more screenwriter-y in the sense that if the actions are short and sweet with good dialogue then it helps me visualize it like a movie in my head. however there are times i enjoy more descriptive prose but the tone varies per thread. in general you can expect most of the narrative captured is a reflection of how ridiculous it is that donald is thor is donald, you know? so anyway whatever you wanna reply with is fine. icons? sure. no icons? also sure. idc my dudes. formatted? whatever man. 

u reply i draft until i can find it in me to reply. if u drop a thread idc. u can just tell me if u want or never reply again and i tend not to bug abt it unless we talk a lot ooc then i might be like hey yooo or whatever but even then im just like meh.

STARTERS: i do not typically write opens unless im feeling it mr. krabs. i love when i get to either send a meme and it turns into a thread or u send me a meme and make my reply a thread. it feels easiest. i live for working off prompts.

SELECTIVITY: so what i typically do is look at the blog and look for rules and good bio page of some sort. without those things, the bio page for OCs in particular, im like lol nah. if i think ur writing and mine won’t mesh well i might not follow back. if i think ur character and mine won’t work out well i won’t follow. like idec if ur my best bud, if u muse is mr. so and so and im not feelin it for thor im not gonna follow. i support u my dudes but from a healthy dash experience distance. anyway that said if we write and ur like “bro u should check out my writing partner” and give me suggestions i dont mind checking them out. 

WISHLIST: dang i wish i could come up with like... a running arc of a story i could play through out this blog with all characters... idk, it’s mostly on me to come up with something good. my other wish is for ppl who have read my bio and understand who my thor is to show that they know that thru what their character observes abt thor. like ppl who come in writing against me thinking this is regular thor make me :( 

HONEST NOTE: i am on new medication that has changed my mood/ability to stay up and do things like crazy. so far so good but i can’t predict how i’ll settle into it. it’s only been about two weeks. if it remains good then i might be around as much as possible but there are def. times when i’ll be absent as fuck for a week or something 

u can ask for my discord but tbh i dont chat a lot and i feel like a jerk sometimes bc its def been pointed out that i dont always like... ask if ppl are ok to talk abt a thing or see an image before i send them so i try REALLY hard to be cognizant of that and to respect boundaries. sometimes its just easier to chill and shut up idk. don’t take me being quiet as a sign of hating u, it just means im doin me and i dont got nothin much to say.

oh this is ?? kind of a tough one bc i feel like i never Branched out in my spaces when it comes 2 being productive,, like a lot of my work is done in my bedroom just bc my desk is there and it’s the most convenient,,,, honestly im jus gonna say my favorite place to write would be from . my desk . bc it faces the window :-)

((So a few days ago me and Sarah went through a lot of really cool character development, but it was all over discord. I’d really like to have a record of it over here and let ya’ll read cuz it was GR8. 

Broke up it up into two parts since it’s so much, and this is part one. Basically Ash ( @ashenheartx ) decided to bother Stan about stealing his idea of making Merlin into a Hell puppet for a hot second, his previous relationship with God, and basically have a big old gay crush on Lucifer. Stan hates all these things and overreacts in true Stan theatrics fashion.

It was sad and melancholy and repetitive and perfectly summed up the insult Stan WANTED to say about Ash's fucking life, but wasn't able to get past the screaming. [Look, Ash is a CACKLIN' instead of being offended because if Stan had meant to camouflage his feelings he had instead loudly broadcasted them. So, as a final goad, he gently hit send one final time.

THEN Stan got out a bat and beat the phone within an inch of it's digital life, manifested a hydraulic press and squished the phone with 12 tons of pressure per square inch, before finally mANIFESTING A GERMAN LEOPARD 2A6 TANK AND ROLLING IT THROUGH THE MOTEL LOBBY TO FINALLY DESTORY THE PHONE. 

(And then blast it with the tank's fully traversing rotating gun turret but by then he'd realized he'd never get that image out of his head no matter how much damage he did the phone.)]

"Jesus Y/N where is your head at today?" Nat scolded you as she knocked you on my ass for the 100th time in the past hour.

"In the gutter Nat where else" you smirk at her, it wasn't a lie! All you kept thinking about was Bucky!! How nice it was waking up in his arms.... how you wanted more!

"We need to get you laid girl!" Nat laughed holding her hand out to help you up off the floor.

"Natasha!!" You snap shaking your head at her, the woman had no filter sometimes.

"Sex Steven, you can say it. Its not a bad word" Nat said teasing him at how uncomfortable he looked.

"Nat leave him alone" you say hitting the stop button and slowly coming to a stop.

"Steve can you help me stretch, if i don't do it properly I'm gonna cramp like a bitch later"

He led you through some basic stretches, then he was kneeling between your legs pushing one back towards your chest a little further than you could manage on my own. "What the hell was that about??" Bucky asked Steve once they were alone, Steve shook his head looking just as confused as Bucky.

"Well you better make your move pal, that girl is needing some attention and she'll go on more of those ridiculous dates to get it" he slapped Bucky on the back and went to go take a shower.

After the show put on by the super soldiers in the gym and having Steve between your legs while stretching you were super horny! On the way back to your rooms Nat had suggested a girls night which you instantly agreed to. You chose to wear a tight fitted burgundy dress (that didn't leave too much to the imagination but made you feel sexy) and a pair of black heals, your hair was curled loosely and your make up natural looking with a slight smokey eye. You were ready for a night out with your girls and you felt good about yourself!

You head out to the kitchen to meet Nat and Wanda. Wanda was already out there waiting for us like usual making some drinks before we started our night.

"Y/N dear?" Tony said looking at you over the papers he was reading.

haseul: the absolute love of my life? THE jo haseul?? theres a reason shes the member i latched onto the most at the beginning and ultimately kinda the member that tied me down to loona for good. like i was onboard w them from the get but it’s her that sealed the deal. i dont joke when i say she really is their guardian angel and no matter what u think of her in the comparison to the other girls u cant deny the fact that shes born leader material. she makes the other girls feel good and at-ease yknow. like she was always around vivi in the 1/3 loona tvs and u could tell it was like 2nd nature to her being by her side as vivi navigated her way through a country and language she wasnt all too familiar with. and like w/ yves for another example like yves if all facts check out was only w/ bbc for a three week period before they debuted her so obviously she wasnt familiar with any of the girls which is why she was so awkward at first. but haseul? bless her soul she did all that she could to make her feel at home. and she has such a beautiful voice i feel like not enough ppl praise her for it. also fuck yg for making her feel bad during mixnine she deserves the world and he can suck my big toe

yeojin: miss thang miss thang. what 2 say what 2 say. first things first shes a trooper. shes a baby i mean a lot of them are babies but yeojin is an actual baby baby i almost fainted when i learned how old she is. but despite her age shes so firm yknow. when shes doing things she wants to do them right to the best of her abilities and shes always striving to be better which is so admirable bc for me personally at that age i was a goddamn mess i couldnt be doing and juggling even a third of the shit she does. and shes right next to hyunjin when it comes to making me laugh shes just so loud and full of energy even 2 the point where i get tired watching her and im loud and full of energy but her being loud and being full of energy kicks my being loud and being full of energy in the ass. if any of that made sense. but theres never a dry eye in sight when shes in the room and u can tell shes such a joy 2 be around as much shit as the other girls give her lol i just feel real protective of her bc shes just so full of life and laughter and i just want her to be out here living her best life

vivi: it needs 2 be said that i have such high respect for any kpop idol who’s from another country bc theres just so much thats going against them. miss vivi is away from home away from her comfort space away from her friends and family away from a place where she can speak proficiently and fluently bc shes struggling to learn a new language and?? on top of that shes doing all the other standard idol stuff. thats some tough shit thats some scary shit but she takes it all on with a brave face and an open mind. and being able to slowly watch her build up more confidence in the language and basically everything else has been such an honor. like when im out here on my weak shit feeling sorry for myself i gotta think 2 myself what would miss vivi do? how would miss vivi tackle this? i lov this girl honestly i would die for her she does so much and i feel like not all of it is fully appreciated but she’ll have her moment i know she will and it’ll only be a matter of time before ppl see how amazing she is 

kim lip: giiiiiiiiirl. lip is such a strong person. like in all aspects. shes crazy talented it’s a little scary to think abt how much she’ll grow once they properly debut as a group and she gets more experience bc?? she just has so much going for her. her charisma is off the charts she can easily pull a crowd if her solo being a real big jumping point in spreading the loona name says anything at all. and shes such a good pick for the oec leader she definitely has those vibes like u just cant help but listen to her regardless of whatever bullshit she says and she says a lot of bullshit but do i liv by that bullshit and eat it up like shes spouting out the new testament u can bet ur ass i do. lip is definitely one of those girls that u cant help but be drawn to like u just want 2 be her bff bc once u remove her from the stage she has such girl next door vibes i feel like she’d be the type of girl u see in the club and u make small talk by the bar bc u made eye contact by accident and all of the sudden before u know it youve spent ur whole night w her and u hav her phone number and plans to meet up next week bc shes so friendly 

jinsoul: i make fun of her a lot. but w good reason: shes easy 2 make fun of. shes so quirky but not in the ironic way like shes really quirky and a bit of a walking disaster but it’s charming and she makes it work. even if shes not ur fav? shes still? kinda ur fav? even if u dont know it? if i made a list of some of my fav loona moments i assure u she’d be included in about 80% of it like shes such a staple to the group i really cant imagine her not being w them i mean i cant imagine the group w/o any of them but jinsoul especially. sometimes i watch loona vids knowing good and damn well shes not gonna be in them but i still end up thinking where is jinsoul?? bc not 2 speak for everybody (i will tho) but no one can get enough jinsoul. also her voice? i love it it’s one of my favs in not only loona but kpop in general. both speaking-wise and singing-wise. it’s just so pretty i really did astral project the first time i heard sitr & love letter. true out of body experiences 10/10 would recommend the yelp reviews are in shes 100% worth It. what is the It shes worth? idk but whatever It is .. shes worth It.

choerry: i just want her 2 be my little sister wow. miss yerim really has my heart. truly the embodiment of :) . shes so smily and has such a strong energy u cant help but like her. in every loona tv shes in shes making someone laugh or smile and it’s no coinkidink it’s bc shes really just that much of a ray of sunshine and u cant help but fall for her. give her some time i pledge w my life that once they debut she is going 2 shine on variety shows theres no way she wont. she has such good sense and shes so flexible. and if lcm is anything 2 go by shes able to switch it up and kill different concepts and sounds at the drop of a hat. def one to keep ur eye on bc u just know shes gonna go far in the future theres no way she wont she has all the tools in her arsenal to make it big no problem. does she resemble the annoying orange? yes and i’ll hate kim lip forever for putting that image in my head but that wont stop her shes truly a force to be reckoned with.

yves: my baby! u didnt hear this from me but i lov her a lot. she was kinda just thrown 2 the wolves w/ her three weeks of training i can only imagine how nerve wracking it must’ve been for her. here is an army of girls bbc has as potential loona members whove been training for years/knew the other girls who were already chosen as loona members/have even gone along for the ride with the chosen loona members to film their mvs and yet shes the one who was picked to be added after three weeks of her being w the company. three weeks !!! thats a lot of pressure but despite that she gave us everything she got. she was real nervous in the beginning anyone could tell when u watched her loona tv arc but she got over it and by the time chuu’s arc rolled around she was joking around w/ the others like it was nothing. shes so funny too but in an awkward way. like she doesnt mean to be but she says and does shit that makes u ?? and u cant help but laugh. her gig with marishe? i have never seen anything funnier like that bitch really took 100+ photos all w the same face and w the same three poses if that’s not talent idk what is. and i dont think it’s been confirmed in writing yet but shes gonna be such a good leader for the eden unit i feel it in my bones

Description:Jungkook is a  photography major in collaage. Every girl likes him yet he only has eyes for his camera, until he -even tho he hasnt realized it yet-  finds his muse.

His lenses searching and capturing the park. Click click click. Taking pictures of random people passing by along with trees. What a beautiful day it was. Sunny but not too sunny so the sun would blind you. Just sunny enough to provide you with great lighting.

 A girl hits him accidentally resulting in a blurry shaky image. He sights and looks at the girl who has an apologetic look. Whatever. He continues taking pictures. That’s all the interaction he has with girls now. Since he got in to photography major he doesn’t give a shit anymore. His friends set him up with girls at parties but all he’d do was maybe fuck them and then never call them again. He didn’t enjoy one night stands but he didn’t have the time to be in a relationship. But it’s okay because his camera is all he needs. After college maybe but right now a serious relationship means absolutely nothing to him. He liked booking girls for photo shoots. You know your usual 21 model wannabe would sometimes do it for free if he was willing to fuck her. He was good looking -very good looking- and the talk in the girls’ bathroom. His work was amazing and some of his best pieces where hanged in the local gallery. So a girl whose dream was to be a model was more than willing to pose for him. But that’s all they did. They were never muses. They were just girls that  with good enough lighting and accessories could  make  a very nice picture for his projects.

 He scans the scene with his camera passing through some pretty interesting faces along the way. But not interesting enough for what he wanted to do this time. Because this time he wants someone that will inspire him as well. This is a big deal. It is a big project that will be judged by the best photographers around the world. It’s a competition.In the beginning he never actually though he could find someone like that. But he will not give up already. He will search a little more and if he doesn’t find someone that clicks to him he will just go back to another pretty face. Just pretty, not beautiful.

 But then, as the camera is moving through the area it suddenly stops, on that one face. Wow, he thought. She looked like an Ancient Greek goddess. She was pure. Everything about her screamed ‘hey I’m the most delicate thing on this planet but I can make you believe I have a dark side’. She wasn’t from here. He could tell. The way girls act here is nothing like how she acted. Not full of herself. Smiling truthfully at a joke her friend just told her. She’s perfect. -for the project- 

He slowly goes up to her group of friends

 "Hey"  he says  looking at her and only her 

 "Hey, can I help you?“ She says. Her voice is angelic.

 "Actually, yes” he pauses only to look at her confused face

 " could I have a minute with you?“ She nods while looking at her friends.

 "Hey, Im jeon Jungkook" 

 "I’m Y/N, Jeon jungkook? Why does that sound familiar?”

 "Are you into photography? You might have seen some of my work" 

“Oh you made that thing with the girl and the ropes. Now I remember. I fell in love with that photo.”

 Weird. That piece was the one that took the most criticism out of his works. People didn’t like it and it was considered one of his ‘bad works’  but not because it was bad, but because people didn’t get it. It was a naked ginger haired girl with perfect makeup on and only ropes covering her private areas. She was a drama major so her expression was just perfect and exactly what Jungkook wanted. A happy yet sad face. The picture meant to deliver  the contrast between the outside and the inside world of a person. But people thought it was just pointless.  

So yes jungkook in a way was surprised that she liked it, actually, fell in love with it. 

 "Really?“

 She tilted her head a little and frowned her eyebrows “Yeah, I mean, don’t you get that a lot?”

 He smiled “not with this picture”

 "Wait really? Why?“ 

 "People didn’t like it as much. They didn’t get it”

 "Well that’s too bad, even thought I think it’s pretty obvious what you tried to do there. And it is really a problem that bothers so many people. They way we look and the way we feel. The way we act and they way we sensirly want to act.“

 He smiles. She gets it. He is glad she gets it. - maybe too glad- 

 "Anyway, what did you want to tell me?“ 

 "I want you to model for me.“ 

 Wow she didn’t see that coming. Model for someone? Why would anyone want her to model for them? She wasn’t a model, but then again she remembered jungkook’s work and  how he doesn’t want to capture just a supermodel posing for him but send a message through his work.  She’s not a model but he gets that she has the potential to deliver his message through her expressions. She’s glad he gets that.-maybe too glad- 

 "This is for real right?” She asks

 "Of course it is" 

 "Yes. I would love to model for you Jungkook" 

 "That’s great. But we can’t discuss all the details right now. Should I call you? Maybe meet up somewhere?“

 "Oh I can type you in my number”

 He gives her his phone to do just that. He may or may not admire how good she looks and stares at her a little bit while she’s not looking. God damn these lips of her-

 "Here” she suddenly looks up and gives him his phone making Jungkook snap out of his thoughts. “Call me and we could discuss this, but I’m sorry now. I need to go.” She pauses and looks back at her group of friends that look kind of angry “they will hate me if I stand here with you any longer, Jennie broke up with her boyfriend so every guy today is an enemy” she laughs.

 He laughs too “You know, you could slap me, if that makes the situation any better" 

 She looks at him not saying a word. Then she slaps him. “Jerk” she yells and mouths a ‘thank you’ as she runs back to her friends that are now smirking. 

 Wow what a girl. 

 It’s 10 and jungkook is debating on weather he should call her or not. He finally does. Oh god what will he even say? Oh right. Project. Focus Jungkook.

 "Hello?“ She says and he might - just might- like her voice. Even tho he has already heard it. 

 "Uh Hey Y/N, its jungkook" 

 "Oh right. Hey how are you?”

 "I’m good, I hope I didn’t wake you up? Were you about to go to sleep? I will hang up if-“

 "I’m 21 now mum. It’s fine” she chuckles and Jungkook’s chicks are now red.

 ” So,about the project. Name your price” Jungkook didn’t want to fuck her. No, he didn’t. He wanted to pay her fair and square. Not make her a whore.

 "Well it depends. What will you need me to do?“ And that’s exactly why Jungkook is so anxious. Because the thing he wants her to do. He would be fine asking any other girl. But he didn’t even fucking know what was stopping him to ask her. Was she too pure for him?

 "Well I don’t know if you’ll like it.” He pauses “I will need you to be nude”

 There is a silence. Jungkook hopes she will not hang up. Because deep inside he wanted her to do this so much. Not the photo shoot in general. But what she had to do at the photo shoot.

 He chuckles. “You shouldn’t be. Anyway. Thanks again, can you come Friday night? I know that Friday night is hard because of parties and stuff but that’s the only day where-”

 "Okay, I’ll be at your house around 7. Where do you live again?“

 "X street X number”

 "Alright. See you later, jungkook”

 "Goodbye"

 God that went better than he expected. She made it go better. She seems cool. But only as a model. Jungkook doesn’t see her in any other way. He doesn’t, really. He doesn’t have time for that crap. She’s just nice to work with. Really nice.  

Jungkook wakes up around 12. Coffee is the first thing he needs right when he gets out of bed. He sips the black bitter liquid that warms his throat. He thinks that today he’s going to start with the photo shoot. She’s gonna come over at 7. Suddenly Jungkook is happy. It’s not because of her. No, that’s defenetly not it. He lets himself think that the coffee just made him happy. It was a good coffee so it would be a good day. Defently not because of her.

 He watches as 7:05 hits the clock. Not that he was watching the time or anything, he just didn’t want her to be late, that would be unprofessional. Suddenly a bell sound fills his ears. He’s not exited, at all. He opens the door 

“Hey” he says

 "Hey" 

“Do you want something to drink?“ 

“No I’m fine thanks" 

 "Are you sure?“ 

"Very sure yeah”

 "Well then,the studio is this way” he leads the way towards the room. 

 It’s a huge room. Well it is a huge house after all. She wandered how he, a collage student, could afford all that. But then she remembered she was being a creep  the other night and googled him. His parents are super rich. They could buy you, sell you and then rebuy you like you were nothing. They were not people you wanted to mess with. And why would you in the first place? The studio looks nice. Well organized. Photos covering the walls and the carpet bringing the whole room together. The lighting was also amazing and she could see how his eyes were making use of that light.

 Was she anxious about getting naked in front  of him? Should she? I mean she is here as a model and the whole nudity thing only happens for art solely. Why would she be? It would only make sense if she thought of him as more than a photographer wich she didn’t. She really didn’t. She didn’t like him or anything. 

“So the background is going to be plane for this photo because I want everyone to look at you and focus to you only” his words flustered her. Why did they? He is a photographer and she is his model. That’s all there is into this.

 He on the other hand tried very hard not to crack his voice while saying that sentence  to her because reasons.

 "You can go change now” he points to a door. 

 As she is getting out of her clothes she looks at her bare self on the mirror. She’s glad she didn’t ate that cheesecake yesterday. Why didn’t she? Well she doesn’t really know, but it’s defenetly not because she wanted to look good in front of him.

 As she comes out he tries to control his eyes.-very fucking hard-. Why can’t he feel his legs? Why is he ever reacting like this? She’s not special, for god shakes he just met her. Her beauty was overwhelming that made him tingle. Oh wait no it didn’t. Why would it? 

 "So what should I do?“

 "There will be no accessories in this one. Your expressions are your accessories. I want you to be pure while being naked. Be angelic.” Not that you aren’t already.

 And she did just that. He couldn’t believe it through his lenses that he sometimes took his camera out of his eyes so he could see the real thing. And that didn’t happen often. It almost never did. But he couldn’t help it. She was bare naked yet it looked like she was wearing a turtleneck. The way this girl looks. The way she acts… she’s  so uniq,  she’s  so dreamy that it almost makes you- 

 He snaps back to reality as he sees her looking at him with a confused look.

“Is everything okay?” She says 

 "Yes, yes everything is fine” You are fine, you are the finest figure he has ever seen. 

The photo shoot ends. She’s about to leave but he doesn’t feel like it. 

 "Hey can I ask something?“ He says

 "Sure what is it?”

 "Well I was kind of wondering, and I hope I’m not crossing any lines here, but do you want to have coffee with me sometime?“

 "You? Coffee? I heard you don’t do dates” she looks at him with this  'I know you only fuck’ look and it triggeres something inside of him. Like she totaly turned him into another person whose only purpose right now was to take that look away and replace it with ‘I only fuck but i do it very good and rought’ look.

 "How do you even know that?“ He smirks

 "Word spreads around quickly" 

 "Oh it does?” He pulls her closer still smirking.  He notices her eyes and her lips again. Lips that would look great around his length. Does he really want her? Or is she another one of those girls that when he gets  enough of he would eventually get tired of? She doesn’t feel like that, but he wants her. Finally owing up to it. He wants her. But it’s a childish want. It’s nothing serious. He just wants her right now,not tomorrow -maybe-

 Will she really do it? Is she like that? Every girl talks about him. But that just make her want him less. The fact that every slut had a piece of him makes her sick. But still, he has this thing, it’s kind of the way he looks at you that makes you weak -well at least her-. 

“Yes it does, you should pay attention on who you fuck.”

 "Starting today" he suddenly kisses her not letting her respond.

Phewwww finally back to finishing up my ‘Bunni Plays Orion’ posts! I finished the game and it just let me down SO MUCH that I had to take a break before I post up my thoughts n stuff. ALAS! godddd SO MUCH wasted potential and SO MANY things rushed through and SO MUCH screentime wasted on long rambling descriptions of irrelevant stuff instead of actually exploring any of these infinately better directions! but the art is so good (albiet inconsistant) and the voiceacting is SO good seriously its better than a lot of triple A games and I feel like an asshole criticizing this story when so many people on the team were clearly passionate about it... seriously it even has a fuckin PROG ROCK THEME TUNE SUNG BY THE VOICEACTORS I feel SO BAD for these people that I didnt enjoy their lil passion project it sucks that effort doesn’t necessarily equal success, cos everyone has their own preferences on things I’m sure SOMEONE out there must have enjoyed this as much as it deserves, but to me its just like a constant empty void with tantalizing hints of directions i would have preferred the plot to go into...

ANYWAY HERE WE ARE

I’m gonna go explore the other two routes, and apparantly this is the big branching point choice for whatever reason there’s no route where cyrus doesnt turn evil/you don’t discover he’s evil (wasted potential again), its just whether or not you manage to escape from him or have someone else rescue you. (again, a big example of how your choices dont friggin matter...) I didn’t imagine you’d just be able to elbow him in the ribs and run off, easy as pie! They try and make a vague excuse for why he NEVER USES HIS DAMN POWERS TO CATCH YOU EXCEPT WHEN THE PLOT DEMANDS IT but seriously, you also just had like a twenty minute scene of him beating the fuck out of you with his bare hands so why is he suddenly unable to overpower you here??????

Another moment where the holo-pad’s written description doesn’t seem to align with how it appears as a wristwatch in CG art. Seriously, its described just like a regular phone! Why would it be exceptional enough to mention you’re holding your wrist at your side? And with the way it looks in CG art it projects an image into the air in front of you, so wouldnt this be MORE CONSPICUOUS if you’re shooting a giant floating face off to the left of you and not even looking at it??? EVERYONE WOULD SEE VIRGIL RIGHT NOW. EVERYONE.

...why am i thinking so much about this

Most of the choices in this route are really boring and reptitive. It gets even worse on the second branch from this one, seriously! Whenever protagonist is left alone without another character telling him what to do, we just have long scenes of him wandering between the various places he’s meant to be in other routes. It’s taking lack of choice to a whole new level! A boring level! Seriously its JUST walking scenes, with a big internal monologue just going ‘i wonder wtf is going on, i wonder if i can trust virgil’ like FIVE TIMES IN SUCCESSION. There’s no real plot except random doubts that seem completely unprompted, to make sure these routes are still as long as the other ones even though you take much longer to reach the important characters...

See what I mean? I didn’t show it in these posts but there’s already like a five paragraph scene of GOSH GASP OH NO ANGST TO CYRUS BEING EVIL I DONT KNOW IF CYRUS IS EVIL back before he punches you in the first place And now its somehow deserving of a whole new CG image just to show it again. Seriously, they assign these random alternate art style pics at the most random of irrelevant moments! And.. like.. they don’t even explore the emotional ramifications or anything! Its literally just HEY THIS THING HAPPENED GASP WHAT A SHOCK. *ends with no development* And no we dont ever get any explanation for why cyrus was pretending to be your friend, and no cyrus didnt really have any actual affection for you or any complex personality traits. And no he doesnt actually do ANYTHING in ANY ROUTE except act as the enforcer for the bigger bad guy we never see until the last five seconds. And he barely ever even uses his time powers! And he doesnt have any REASON to be doing anything he’s doing! and he just vanishes from the plot whenever he’s not needed! he only exists to be an excuse to push the other characters into whatever situation the writers need at the moment. He has no agency or motivation and it feels like they dont even know where he IS when he’s out of sight, seriously. is he just chillin in the break room. does his time power make him move at the speed of plot. SORRY IM JUST VERY FRUSTRATED BY THIS! Seriously what was teh POINT of making him be a fake friend for the first five minutes? if we’re not gonna get any character development for either of them after the revelation... they coulda just introduced him right here as mr unnamed enemy enforcer who does nothing, and that would have probably saved a lot of goddamn time! I LIKED FAKE CYRUS A LOT BETTER. HE LOOKED LIKE HE HAD REASONS TO EXIST.

Oh and yeah this is what I mean about the protagonist just waiting around til various characters tell him what to do. Virgil just suddenly tells you where to go. Okay. Seriously it takes SO LONG for there to actually be any sort of legitimately interesting exploration of his ability to see all the timelines simultaneously and know everything you have to do. For the rest of the time its just an excuse for him to tell you stuff you’d otherwise never find out. But only tell you it on one route even though it wouldve been useful a million other times. And blablabla contrived ‘something something paradoxes’ excuse for why he does this...

Oh, and this is Mari’s only appearance on this half of the routes. Aside from the weird mandatory stalking sequence at the start of the game SERIOUSLY WHY WAS THAT EVEN THERE! in EVERY route you end up going back in time three days so it never even happened... Anyway, in this version Virgil tells you to tell her ‘hey i know you’re part of the resistance and i wanna meet issaku’, which causes her to beat you up like a jackass instead of taking you to see him which makes NO SENSE cos she takes you to see him on 2/4 routes, and the only difference is that in those ones you DONT ask to see him. She’s somehow more willing to drag you along into her super secret operation when she thinks you’re a total useless stranger! I mean, at least it works out tho cos they find out you have time powers and blah, but it was a complete coincidence! It feels like Mari is just either nice or awful depending on what the plot requires of her. Same for the rebellion in general. And they arent even really mentioned in ANY of the other routes, they only exist to be an excuse for why the villain guy wants to destroy your town. They dont even get to show up in the true ending epilogue...

Anyway, this is the true only reason Mari appears in this route. She decks u in the face and you time fart away~! Every route has to have a scene where you discover your powers, so that all the later stuff can make sense. But sometimes it feels like it was ACTUALLY an important part of the story, and sometimes it feels like they literally just threw it in at the least second to have an excuse why you can use your powers later. And sometimes you still get continuity confusion where it feels like you suddenly know how to use them for no reason... And also its never explained why you were never able to use your powers before??? If its so easy to suddenly manifest them as soon as you’re told they exist...

And then the choice here between the final two routes is just “Virgil mentioned the name of some random woman I’ve never heard of, should I go find her or not?” its got way less of a coherant narrative structure than the two rebellion routes.
