DP X DC crossover prompt
Sam and Tucker, thanks to living in Amity Park and being overshadowed and controlled by ghosts so many time, had become very liminal. Until an accident while trying to stop the newest ghost enemy led to the two of them becoming halfa’s. Sam’s ghost form looks like what she looked like during the whole Undergrowth thing. And Tucker’s ghost form looks like his King Tuck design.
After a reveal gone wrong, Danny, Sam, and Tucker flee Amity Park. The trio run away to Gotham, and using money Sam managed to snag from her account before they left, they buy a nice sized building right in the middle of Crime Alley. They decide to turn it into a bookshop and cafe. There’s a garden/greenhouse attached to the back end of the building where Sam grows all her plants and herbs. Tucker has his own tech room in the basement alongside Danny’s tiny lab space. They live together in the apartment above the bookshop/cafe.
One day while out on a walk, Danny stumbles across two tiny twin half formed baby ghost cores. They’re nothing more than tiny little balls of glowing light at the moment. Baby ghosts that are just starting to form but are nothing more than cores at the moment. But they seem to be slowly fading. Danny refuses to let them fade away into nothing. He scoops them up, infuses them with some of his ectoplasm to get them going, and then shoved them into his chest for safe keeping and so that they can be close to his own core which starts slowly feeding them energy.
Danny rushes back to the shop and drags Sam and Tucker to the upstairs apartment and shows him the baby ghost cores he’s found. The three all agree that they’re going to help these cores develop into actual ghosts. They switch off on who carry’s the ghost cores around. Some days it’s Danny. Some days it’s Tucker. And some days it’s Sam. Each of them feeding the cores a little bit of their ectoplasm to help them grow.
One of the cores feels distinctly female and has a purplish blue glow to it. The three start jokingly calling her violet. The other core has a distinctly male feel to it. It’s an orangish red and has a small crack along one side of it. Danny jokingly said one time how he (the baby core) kind of looked like Nemo’s egg at the beginning of Finding Nemo and ever since they’ve been calling him Nemo.
The two cores have been developing very slowly, both seemingly unable to absorb the needed ectoplasm, to form into full ghosts, quickly. The trio is fine with this, they can be patient, and wait to meet their twins.
Then one day there’s some kind of massive ghost attack. Maybe a cult or something attempted to summon the ghost king but messed up the summoning and accidentally summoned something else. The Justice League try and fight the thing, but they’re no match for this ghost monstrosity. And the JLD aren’t available to help for whatever reason. The trio decides to step in and help. They kick the crap out of the ghost pretty easily and send it back to the ghost zone. Then Danny, in his King Phantom garb (crown of fire, whispy white fire like hair, a regal looking version of his hazmat suit, the ring of rage on one finger, and a cape around his shoulders, the outside being pure white but the inside looking like the vastness of space) approaches the cult and rebukes them, telling them how even if they had managed to summon him he never would have helped them take over the world.
After that the trio become members of the Justice League. Thanks to some of Danny’s previous time travel shenanigans, and Danny being the ghost king, and Sam and Tucker his consorts/mates(?) the Justice League all think that the trio are ancient eldritch ghost gods.
And then one day when the trio are in the Watch Tower with the rest of the League their twin baby ghost cores come up. Maybe it was time to switch out who was carrying them, and mid meeting or lunch or whatever, Danny just reaches into his chest, pulls out two small glowing orbs. He cradles them close to his chest for a moment, looking at them lovingly, and whispering something soft to them in ghost speak. Then hands them over to Sam, who does the whole cradle them close and whisper softly in ghost speak before shoving them right into her chest.
They look up from this to see the whole League staring at them wide eyed and confused. Danny just casually explains that those are their children but they’re still forming so the trio needs to keep them close to their cores to help them grow, but they like to switch up everyday who carry’s them. Every member of the Justice League becomes super protective of the trio after this. They see it as the three essentially being pregnant (sort of), and they don’t always know which one of them is carrying the baby ghost. So best to just be protective of all three. The trio finds this kind of amusing and a touch bit sweet.
When the twin baby cores finally develop into actual baby ghosts, the two kind of look like a mixture between Danny, Sam, and Tucker’s ghost forms. Though Violet has dark purple hair and eyes and Nemo has bright orangish red hair and eyes.

Dp X Injustice AU's
So, we have seen the frankly insane about of Dp x Dc AU's that have been spawned over the years. But I never really see any Injustice AU's
And then I thought, which Dp x Dc AU would you actually use for an Injustice AU?
Let me give some examples:
Justice League Member Danny: Danny is a part of the Justice League by the time Superman goes insane. He decides to step in when Shazam is nearly killed by Superman, but gets hurt himself in the process and is thrown in jail. This causes some of Superman's supporters to doubt him, since Danny is just a 16 yr old kid and Clark nearly killed him.
Danny is sill a Solo Hero: Danny is still just a Solo Hero from Amity Park in this. When Superman takes over the world, he goes to Amity to try and recruit Phantom. Danny refuses, and they butt heads. Danny eventually promises that he will continue to just act as a small time Vigilante in return for not joining Batman's side. This changes years later, when Superman is responsible for the death of Jazz Fenton.
Danny is a "Villain": Danny is seen as a Villain because he is a Ghost. At least, that's what the outside world thinks, but the situation in Amity is different. Danny has been seen as a Hero for years now, it's just the rest of the world that doesn't want to accept that fact. So when Superman takes over the world, and tries to execute every Villain, he goes after Phantom. Only for the Entire Town to try and stop him.
@little-pondhead Everlasting Trio Villain AU: So, take Little Pondhead's Villain AU and put it in the Injustice Universe. Danny can be the insane megalomaniac Villain he always wanted to be and not feel guilty because this is a Dictatorship. (Although it does remind him of Dan before his parole). He just has fun, messing with Superman, building insane crazy inventions, messing with Superman, enacting fun Villain plots, messing with Superman, and of course messing with Superman. Meanwhile Superman is just having a horrible time because there is just this random Villain, doesn't even seem to have powers, and he Just. Can't. Catch Him! Batman is looking for Fenton to recruit, meanwhile Fenton is literally here to Not be a Hero. It gets even worse when he brings in his Friends and Ellie.
Danny is the Ghost King: Danny is the Ghost King by now, and Batman's side try to Summon Him to deal with Superman during the whole "Super Pills" event. He shows up just in time to save Green Arrow, but isn't trong enough to kill Superman. He himself gets extremely injured in the process and gets forcibly summoned back to the Ghost Zone to be healed. Now the entire Dimension is gearing up to attack the Living World as revenge for their King being so hurt.
Old Man Danny AU: My own AU. Danny is still an Old Man just living in Gotham when Superman takes over. At one of his rally's to try and garner support and stop the rebellions, Danny stands up in the middle of the crowd and calls him out on all his Bullshit. This causes the whole crowd to start yelling at Superman, which in turn causes Superman to have a Homelander Moment. He kills Danny, who just laughs as he falls to the floor, and causes a riot. What Superman doesn't know, is that Danny was slated to ascend to Godhood at the moment of his Death, so now he has a God of Death chasing him to fulfill his "need to be avenged" urges (its like hunger pangs for ghosts)
Danny as a Medium: Danny is a Traveling Ghost Speaker, like the guy you pay $5 to pretend to speak to your dead loved ones, but he can actually speak to them. Superman is patrolling the world, just making the rounds now that he had conquered the Earth, and comes across Danny's Tent. He stops by in curiosity and asks to speak to his dead Wife. Danny asks if he really wants to put himself through that, but Superman insists. So Danny, instead of just speaking for the Ghost like normal, actually Summons Lois Lanes Ghost to talk to Superman. They have a heartfelt conversation about how it wasn't his fault, and how he shouldn't blame himself, but eventually they get to the topic of Clark talking over the world. She isn't proud, but understands if this is what it takes for him to be happy. She leaves, and Superman is left finally second-guessing himself for the first time in years. Because it doesn't make him happy. (*ahem* Danny still wants to be payed, soooo......)

DC X DP PROMPT #11
Under some erroneous conditions, Vlad has become a contractor for the Justice League. It would be fine if Vlad Masters was the JL contact, but no, Plasmius has landed the gig. Somehow the vampire supervillain look didn't throw them off (he swears he never had to overshadow anyone, either)
This is not the main issue as of, though. The main issue is Danny. Not that Danny is ever really an issue, it's more of what happeneds to Danny that's a problem. Well - Dannys.
The three of them were out, minding their own business when some stray defecto GiW agents came out of nowhere. This was no longer supposed to be an issue. With Vlad having connections to the JL the GiW had been officially disbanded and their actions made illegal. This obviously did not stop some of the organization's former members.
Anyway, the Dannys were out bonding, typical sibling activities (no Dan, arson does not count. Yes, we can brawl though) when some rogue GiW agents fresh out of government-backed work caught them in the unawares. This would normally be a nonissue but these particular agents had managed to get their hands on some thought to be destroyed Fenton prototypes.
These agents had managed to capture the trio. Now, they had only held the Danny's for less than a day, but give an inch take a mile. Jack and Maddie had busted into the hodgepodge setup, guns blazing, Vlad not far behind. The damage was already done though. Jordan and Danielle were mostly just banged up, a little worse for wear, but no one was melting. It was Danny that was having issues.
Danny seemed to be the major target of the former agents ire. They had managed to get to his core. This damage wasn't irreversible, from what Frostbite had told them, but it was detrimental to the young ghost. He was still developing, this was simply not good for the Great One's health!
Through careful consideration, it was decided that in order to heal from this, Danny would be better off retreating into his core for this. He had already started the process of doing so in the short time they had been in the Far Frozen. Normally, when one of the Dannys would retreat into their core they would be placed under careful watch by the family, but with Danny's core being damaged the call was made that he would need to be carried.
Nearly everyone had volunteered to do such, all were turned down for various reasons. Jordan and Danielle were still injured (and Dani still had a perpetuity to melt at times). Jack and Maddie were denied on the fact that having a leaking source of ectoplasm would be a detrament to their own health, regardless of how liminal they were from years of constant exposure. In the end, the job fell on Vlad. No one was really thrilled with this (besides the man himself) but Frostbite insisted he would be the best fit for the situation. His human side would nourish Danny's and his ghost half would supply him with ample Ecto for proper healing.
Vlad was ecstatic, especially to tell the League that he would be taking maternity leave.

Yo, I wrote something.
It Matters to Have this Ghost Clan Near (This Family I Never Knew)
Held prisoner by an alien god-monarch, the only way the Justice League is getting out of here is by proving they have family waiting for them. This is easy enough for Clark and Bruce, but of Diana's family her mother isn't exactly easy to contact, and her relationship with the rest of her family is... complicated.
Luckily, just because he's dead, doesn't mean Kronos doesn't still care about his granddaughter.
"Clark. Bruce. Leave me here." Wonder Woman snarled the words as fierce as her heritage had taught her, and it only made Bruce more furious about the entire situation.
"Well? Have you made a decision yet? We won't wait forever." The alien monarch lounged on their throne, an ugly, amused glint in their eyes. It made Bruce want to break something, but the trio were outnumbered and far from home, and they were only getting out of here at all by the grace of the monarch's will.
He hated foreign gods. The ones on earth were tolerable, some, like Diana, he even liked, but gods from other worlds didn't push his buttons so much as they stomped on them with soccer cleats.
Wonder Woman was becoming visibly panicked. "Friends. Shield-brothers. Leave."
Bruce ignored her and tried to think of a way past this. The mrydonians and their god-monarch were fond of keeping people they found interesting. Anyone with any kind of power who stumbled into their lonely corner of the universe tended to find themselves stuck. They had even managed to trap gods before; the god-monarch reigned over the very concept of mrydonian space, and it allowed them to win out over gods of lesser or more distant domains. Diana, as the goddess of heroes, was below such a powerful genius locus, and the sun wasn't the kind that could fully power Clark up, preventing them from fighting their way out.
Thankfully, there was one loophole. The mrydonians held family sacred, even above their only god, and if they could prove they had family waiting for them they would be let go.
A quick call back home had settled the matter for him and Clark. His kids had answered the phone immediately, as had the Kents. Unfortunately, what little of Diana's relatives she considered true family were out of contact. They just needed one person who could claim her and mean it, but although she was close with a number of people, including his family, they had always labeled it as a friendship. He was kicking himself for that now, but how was he supposed to know—
"You can not find family for her then?" The alien's smarmy voice interrupted his thoughts as the being's smile widened. "She will just have to stay here then. We are so glad to host her—"
The doors, enormous and more literal incarnations of the god's power than physical objects, slammed open with a bang that echoed through the room. The god's head jerked around and they began standing up. One of the priests screamed, "Who dares intrude upon this sacred space?"
Between the open doors stood a boy. A teenager really, with floating white hair and inhuman green eyes, wearing a black and white suit. He waved. "Hey. I'm Danny." His bright smile was incongruous with the tense atmosphere, and every fiber of Bruce's being screamed with wariness. "That's my cousin over there. You know, the one you're planning on keeping prisoner."
"What. Diana—"
Clark was turning to her as Diana kept her eyes on the new threat, and she hissed back. "I don't know Clark. You've met all of my family. I don't know this boy."
The teenager in question stalked forward down the court, stopping between the god and the three justice league members. He moved oddly, too flexible and not as affected by gravity as he should be, and Bruce carefully took notice of what he saw. Oftentimes, when a being was non-human, the weak spots Batman depended on in a fight were in different places, so close observation was necessary if things dissolved into a battle.
The monarch's next words were an affronted rumble that did not lower Bruce's worries about a fight. "She does not know you, boy."
"No," Danny agreed. "We haven't met. Old family disagreements, you know the drill. Grandfather didn't want to impose, and I followed his lead." He tilted his head like a cat. "Doesn't mean I can't claim her, though."
"Grandfather?" Diana muttered next to Bruce in confusion.
The boy turned to her. "Mmhmm. He would have come himself, but by the time he saw what was going on, he was in the middle of something that would be dangerous to put down. He couldn't get a hold of your father, so he sent me instead." His face morphed into something bashful for a moment. "Sorry, I'm so late."
"It does not matter that you are late," the alien monarch snarled. They were fully standing up now, holding a dangerous-looking spear in their hands. It didn't look like the rest of the mrydonian weaponry Bruce had seen. He wondered if it was stolen just like they stole people. The god continued, "She does not recognize you as family, it is not mutual, it does not matter."
"See, that's where you're wrong," Danny exclaimed cheerfully. "By your own words, you 'respect other cultural understandings of family than your own.' Well," the boy bared his teeth in a grin. He had far too many of them, and they were far too sharp to fit in the reality Bruce knew, making him wonder which branch of Diana's family tended towards the Eldritch. As the boy spoke, the words began to gain a hint of static. "In the culture of my people, one can claim another as family without it being mutual and it still holds up in a court of law as long as the other does not outright refute the relationship." He swiveled towards Diana. "I assume you're not?"
She shook her head even as her eyes remained hawk-fierce on him.
"So, I may not be her cousin, but she is mine, and since that would be accepted in my culture, you have to let her go, by your own rules."
"Do not patronize me in my own domain, boy." The ground shuddered with the god's words.
The teenager snarled right back, a deep rattling thing that reminded Bruce of an avalanche, and he lifted off the ground. He had a cloak that looked like someone had woven the night sky into armored cloth and a sword of black ice on his hip. Neither were there a couple of seconds ago, yet they felt like they'd been there the whole time. "Try me," Danny snarled. "My own domain isn't as far as you think."
The air grew tenser and tenser before it finally snapped. "Fine! She is your family. You may take her. Leave now or my generosity may not hold." The alien god stormed out with their head held high, but there was a definite sense of loss in the way they retreated.
Danny turned back to them. He landed on the ground in front of Diana, missing his war regalia again.
"Sorry that took so long! He was surprisingly stubborn."
"It's fine," Diana said warily. "Thank you… cousin."
The boy's eyes widened before he started to beam.
Diana continued. "Can I ask who is the grandfather we're related to?"
"You know him as Kronos."
All three of the Justice Leaguers froze. Diana's mouth gaped open and closed like a fish, but Clark at least managed to keep his wits about him. "Kronos is dead."
Danny turned to him curiously. "So?"
"So he's not alive," Clark stressed. "He couldn't have sent you."
Danny looked at him for a moment and burst out laughing. When his laughter calmed he said, "A god is still a god when they are dead, and the soul of a god is not nearly so easy to destroy as the body. Who do you think has been repairing the time stream after all the time travel you heroes do?" he asked wryly.
"If Kronos was still existent," Diana said firmly, "we'd know. He'd have already tried to take the cosmic throne again."
The teenage… being's gaze was inscrutable. "Would he? Really? Where are you getting that information?"
Diana sputtered. "It's common knowledge!"
Danny said dryly, "So you don't even have a first-hand account?"
"Well I certainly haven't seen any evidence to the contrary," she snapped back.
Danny was suddenly the most serious Bruce had seen him since he entered the palace. "He likes baking. He makes amazing persimmon cookies, and he's been trying to figure out a cinnamon roll recipe he likes. One time when I was upset he tricked the Observants into dying their capes rainbow. None of them ever figured out it was him, but he still brings me back to that moment when I need cheering up." The boy's expression softened as he looked at the woman who he had claimed as a cousin of his own accord. "When he realized he wouldn't be able to come himself to help you, he was furious. He had to use a lot of power to get me here on time, but he would have thrown away twice as much if it was for family."
Diana's face was working its way through a series of emotions, and Danny seemed to grow embarrassed by everything he'd said. "I should go so you can get home. I hang around in Illinois if you ever want to find me." He lifted off the ground, reaching out to tear some kind of portal open in the air. He turned back for a moment before he left. "Grandfather goes by Clockwork, nowadays. He'll answer to that if you ever need him." Then the boy was gone.

Sunlit Gotham ALTERNATE Plot Point
Justice League Meets Camp Half Blood (Batman's POV-ish)
The Batplane lands in a field nearby some tents. Superman and Wonder Woman are already talking to a handful of teens wearing Ancient Greek battle armor. Other teens work around the makeshift battle camp, sharpening weapons, preparing traps, and tending to the wounded.
“We have some scouts spying on the other army.” A tall blonde teenager informs the three adult heroes. “They should be coming back any time now.”
Superman cocks his head to the side and glances out towards the trees across the battlefield.
“Three teenagers?” He asks.
“Yeah, three of our counselors.” The teen - Malcolm, as he introduces himself, says.
“They’re sprinting this way.” Superman begins to hover slightly, “And they’re being chased by something big.”
Whipping around, Malcolm sprints towards a table that holds a mirrored shield on it. He pulls it close and demands, “Show me the stealth team.”
The shield’s surface ripples and as it clears it shows an aerial view of three teens sprinting through the forest. The shortest member is repeatedly making a hand signal as they run.
Swearing under his breath, Malcolm calls out, “Miranda! Get Ready To Activate the Vine Trap!”
A handful of teens sprint out, carrying packets of seeds. They scatter the seeds around and run back to a safe distance away, hiding amongst nearby bushes to stay out of sight.
The group of three break through the trees, running straight towards the new group. The teen in the lead holds a scroll in their hands as they sprint straight towards the scattered seeds. The other two are close behind.
Exploding out of the trees comes a large snake-like creature. It roars and spittle flies everywhere, burning away the grass where it lands. It’s intent on chasing down its prey.
“By Hera, that’s a Drakon.” Diana whispers in horror
As the monster gets close enough, the hidden teens do something and the seeds begin to grow into vines. They grasp the Drakon and it bucks, trying to throw them off.
A member of the trio turns around to watch and lets out a cheer as the Drakon stills. Then the giant head snaps up, its eyes glaring directly at the teen. They freeze, and the other two sprint past. The shortest member skids to a halt and turns back towards their friend just as the Snake HEAVES upwards, snapping the vines.
“Connor! Move!” They sprint back towards the frozen teen - Connor - and tackle him out of the way as the snake dives into the ground where they had just been.
Pulling him to his feet, the smallest teen takes off sideways across the field, dragging Connor behind them as the snake turns and gives chase.
The two shout back and forth as they run, waving their arms wildly before Connor nods and takes the lead. The other one makes sure to follow exactly where he steps.
“Holy shit.” Malcolm mutters from where he stands, “They’re going for the minefield.”
“The what?” Superman asks, concerned.
A different teen comes to stand beside Malcolm, he has a green flannel thrown over his bright orange t-shirt.
“Gods dam-it, Sky. You idiot.” He swears under his breath.
“Kayla!” Malcolm barks out, “Get the chariot and get them out of there!”
A girl with dyed hair shakes her head wildly. “The pegasi won’t go near a Drakon. They just won’t do it.”
“Shit. We gotta get them out of there.
The Drakon hits the minefield.
A Concussive blast sounds out, quickly followed by another, and another. The ground shakes and the two teens stumble but continue to sprint.
“They’re not gonna make it.” Malcolm mutters.
“They’re gonna make it.” The other blonde counters.
“They’re not gonna make it.”
“They’re gonna make it.”
“They’re not gonna make it.”
“They’re gonna — SHIT They’re not gonna make it!”
One last blast knocks the two teens off their feet.
A gust of wind is all the notice the spectators have before Superman is back, both teens in his arms. He’s trying not to make it obvious, but Batman can tell he’s looking at the shorter teen in shock.
Both kids stumble to the ground as Clark puts them down and immediately the blonde in the flannel approaches them, glowing gold.
After a few moments he leans back slightly and asks, “Can you hear me now?”
They both nod.
“Good.” He looks satisfied for a moment before his face morphs into a glare. “THEN WHAT THE HELL WERE YOU THINKING?”
“Oww, do you have to shout?” The shortest one hisses.
“Skylar. Ann. Richardson.” He grinds out.
Oh no. Bruce think’s desperately, Please tell me that’s not why Clark was looking at them in shock.
“Of all the Stupid Stunts that can be pulled you choose to lead a DRAKON into the MINE FIELD????” The kid is still ranting.
Skylar pulls off their helmet to reveal an alarmingly familiar face.
“It worked, didn’t it?” She asks pointedly.
“That’s Not The Point!” Flannel shrieks. “You Almost Died!”
“We always almost die.” Connor points out.
“Do not start with me, Connor Stoll.” A finger is pointed at his chest.
“Will.” Sky leans forward and grabs Will’s hand. “We’re fine. I’m fine. We’re ok.” She glances up and balks slightly at the sight of Superman, Wonder Woman, and Batman standing before them.
Blinking a few times she opens her mouth again. “….On second thought, maybe you should check me for a concussion… I think I’m hallucinating the Justice League.”
Chuckling slightly, Diana reaches out a hand and pulls her to her feet. “You are not hallucinating, young one. We have recently discovered your existence and are here to offer whatever aid we can provide.”
“Oh.” Skylar says faintly. "Cool."

I was discussing this with a friend of mine and I’d be interested to know your take.
We’re both big comics nerds for the batfam, and we’ve come to the consensus that even with the out of pocket moments, arcs that don’t hold up well(fugitive comes to mind), and the slew of other post crisis issues—We think the best version of the batfam would be right before Damian was introduced.
I know how this makes me sound and I’m not sorry, Tim as robin was great and I loved him as the younger brother of the fam but also not bruce’s son let them be weird friends like before identity cri-
I’m getting off topic. I apologize.
Batfam feels very bloated modern day, and I genuinely preferred when Jason was a crime lord, Dick and Tim were close tightknit brothers. Babs was oracle and Cass was batgirl. I’d want Steph to be alive and not taking cass’s job but one thing at a time. (also tim and cass are lovely as siblings/friends)
What is your ideal batfamily composition, what do you have the most fun with?
And I hope you’re doing well!
Oh here’s a dangerous question.
My favourite period of Bat comics is probably, hmmm, 1996 to 2004. Not only are there some great writers doing work during that period, the family dynamics are interesting and complex because there's fun levels of tension between various members, but also there are almost equal numbers of male and female characters and the women are allowed to be messy and complex and flawed while still heroic. You've got Bruce, Dick, Tim, Barbara, Helena, and Jean-Paul, plus Cass from 1999 onwards, with assistance from Steph, Selina and Dinah to varying degrees.
What characters and dynamics do I find the most fun? Well, I like there to be tension in the Bat family. I like every person in the group to be linked in differently, with different relationships with other members, rather than being "Bruce and his kids". There's this concept I have of what is the 'core' of the Batfam in the period between 1995 and 2009: it's not Bruce, it's actually a trio, consisting of Dick, Tim and Barbara, all of whom who have very strong ties to each other, managing and balancing the rest of the family between them.
Dick manages the broader community ties, rather than the Gotham ones. Dick's the one who all the other families know and are most likely to approach for help; he's got the respect of the Titans but also of the Justice League. Dick is basically the public relations guy standing between the Bats and everyone else.
Tim is the glue of Gotham. Tim knows everyone in Gotham and has teamed up with them at some point and knows how to convince them to come and help out, even if they aren't on good terms with the rest of the Bats, and can force people who are normally opposed to work together. Tim's the reason all the Gotham vigilantes aren't six separate bitter blood feuds or a perpetual mafia war.
Barbara is the expertise. She's not only the coordinator and planner who ensures that everything runs smoothly, who has everyone's contact details and the ability to pull in the specific assistance needed, but she also maintains contacts that still see Dick as 'Bruce's kid' with the way most of the Justice League only are familiar with her as an adult hero. She's got the best JSA contacts via Dinah. She can stand up to Bruce and tell him to back down and pull his head in in a way the other two cannot. And she's the only one of the three who has a proper working relationship with Jean-Paul Valley.
The changes in the Batfamily dynamics by firstly removing Barbara from Gotham, and then adding Jason and especially Damian, forced the shape of the dynamics to centre themselves around "Bruce and his sons" and "everyone else", rather than being a spread network that converged on a trio.
My ideal Batfamily? It's Bruce, Dick, Barbara, Tim, Cass and Damian. While I think that Damian is part of a very clear change of direction in storytelling, I think there are worthwhile stories to tell about his dynamics with the others listed here, and on balance he allows for new directions of storytelling.
(Yes, there's an obvious name missing there. It's deliberate. I remain unconvinced that having Jason around as 'family' is a better use of his character than as a ghost haunting the narrative or, if he must be alive, as an extremely irritating villain)

Wait wait wait I've been reading up on lantern lore and I want to submit an ask loosely based on some I already saw here:
Val being a red lantern anti-hero, doing bad things but ultimately helping her friends/the justice league similar to red hood, Jazz being green and maybe becoming apprentice to hal(?) or some of the other green lanterns bc she is still in college.
She and Val constantly team up and the red + green lantern is hella interesting to say the least from the pov of ppl that don't know who they are. Maybe Val turns her rage to the GIW and the other villains hurting her friends? Anyways, basically they both get their rings at roughly the same time, and keep their identities secret from everyone else besides each other, even from team phantom.
A few years down the line, with jazz almost finished with her masters, danny (or someone else from team phantom, dani or tuck? I don't see Sam really working out for this, but maybe it's just me zjzbzhznzj) gets the blue ring, which is basically the op ring of hope whose only weakness is that it needs a green nearby as a sort of symbiotic "I help you, you help me" relationship. So now you have op ghost boy/king danny with a blue ring that he doesnt even need, and since he's always around jazz whose green, when he DOES use his ring he becomes even MORE op.
This could work too for the human members since team phantom is basically family at this point. Just these 3 ppl who've known each other since high school, maybe childhood teaming up with each other and just causing so much shenanigans since 1) red lanterns are supposed to be evil 2) blues are supposed to be rare 3) the fact that this blue/green duo seem to go way back and are practically attached at the hip 4) the red+green+blue lantern combo (Powerpuff girls reference? Except the red is the angry one and there is a dude depending on who's blue) and the optional 5th) what the fuck is THE ghost king doing with a BLUE lantern ring??? Wdym he was chosen???? His sister is the newest green lantern??????
This is SO GOOD dude.
This trio just fucks with the entirety of the normal accepted norms of the power rings. The idea that Danny just pops on over to help Jazz and is an OP as fuck duo is incredible.
They could absolutely use these stereotypes to their advantage as well. Valerie using her fear and intimidation to get people to respect and let them entry into places they normally wouldn’t have access to. Jazz using her “I’m the green lantern of this sector” and Danny doing a “yeah and what the fuck are you gonna do about it?”.
These three strike fear in the hearts of every lantern.

Third Law of Motion
Established everlasting trio.
@batpham-discord-highlights
Danny and whoever he wishes to bring are invited to a week at the beach with the Waynes. Tim says he wants to talk, but does he know he is already dating his best friends?
[Read on AO3]
Befriending the Justice League at first had been kind of a rocky situation. There was a lot of misunderstandings, a lot of mistrust, and for some reason Superman hated his guts with passion.
But after some years Danny had settled as one of the fixed members, and one of the most powerful ones, if he can say so himself.
Batman took a while to warm up to him, and maybe helping him create a weapon that could take down the Ghost King helped a lot, but in the end the man revealed himself as the billionaire philanthropist Bruce Wayne.
It was… an experience, not gonna lie.
Danny’s track record with rich men were Vlad, which despite having mellowed with time AND with losing his right to the throne on the grounds of being a loser, was still a bit of a creep; and Lex Luthor when the man tried to summon him to ask for a wish or something, or maybe try to enslave him to his will? It wasn’t really clear what he wanted, Baldie talked and talked and talked and Danny just got bored and set everything on fire.
Anyway, Bruce Wayne turned out to be kind of a nice guy? The real one, since the public persona was kind of an idiot. The Bruce Wayne he met when he came over to visit for dinner one time, Bruce’s butler-slash-father insisted, was a tired man trying to keep up in a world where gods walked among humans.
Danny respected that.
Also, the man had a huge family. It was stupid. He had an adoption problem, definitely; but also he had such a big heart to accept so many people as his own - not only the officially adopted, but the friends of the family that were considered family too.
Danny left the mansion feeling warm and yearning for a family like that - noisy, rowdy, not afraid to throw down on the living room and wrestle for the remote. He wanted that so much that he couldn’t stop the mini-heart attack when he was invited to come over again, and then again for Thanksgiving and when he realized he had the contact information of everybody saved in his phone.
The Waynes were not afraid to touch his cold skin and call him out on his bullshit, to make jokes about being dead (well, that was more Jason, the dude he found out had some ectoplasm in his veins), to ask about his Kingdom without apprehension in their voices.
They were weird, but amazing.
Also, the Waynes invited him and whoever he wanted to bring to a one week beach vacation. They would take care of everything - transportation, food and where to stay. He and his people would only need to bring their own luggage to the airport, where they would meet.
Turns out, they flew in a private jet to a private island. “This way you can be yourself without thinking of being seen.” Bruce had said when he saw Danny’s shocked face.
“Isn’t it neat having rich friends?” Tucker adjusted his glasses as he sat down on Danny’s bed, watching him look for his bag of toiletries in his suitcase and put it in the ensuite gigantic bathroom.
Because the summer mansion was big enough so everyone had their own room, of course.
“Don’t let Sam hear you, she was pissed off enough about the environmental impact of using a private jet.”
“I think Damian’s rant about Wayne Enterprises’ eco projects and plans for the next five years will shut her up for the rest of the week.”
“I love that kid. I have decided he is my favorite only because of Sam's sour face as he talked.”
Danny chuckled. It had been a success to bring his best friends and partners to this trip. He knew they would get along with the Waynes, but after the flight it became clear that Sam and Damian would get like a house on fire and that Tucker had found his techno geek equal in Tim.
There was a knock on his door.
“Danny? Are you decent?”
“Morally? No, but I have clothes on, if that’s what you are asking.”
From the other side of the door, Jazz’s long suffering sigh was heard perfectly. “That joke got old after the first three times.”
“It’s funnier the more you hate it,” he said as she opened the door and walked in, already wearing her bathing suit and beach dress. “Excited much?”
She blushed a little. “It’s been a while since I went on vacation.”
“That’s what you get when you are such a workaholic.”
She blushed harder. “Shut up, as if you were better,” Jazz smiled as she crossed her arms over her chest. “When was the last time you slept more than three hours at night?”
“I plead the fifth.”
Her face when he said this could rival some of Alfred’s worse ‘im not mad, just disappointed in you’ moments. But she didn’t make a comment on it. Good, as if she held the higher ground morally speaking - she got worse when she was invested in a new project.
“I came to tell you that everyone is going down to the beach, and that refreshments will be served soon. If you want food then don’t take too long.”
With that, she turned and left the room, her steps quiet as always.
“Sometimes I forget how hot your sister is.”
“Tucker!” He hit his friend on the shoulder, growling. “What the heck?”
“What? We are all adults!” The young man rubbed his shoulder. “And it isn’t like I’m interested or anything - hell, she’s like my own sister at this point. I’m just appreciating how good the years have been with her.” His friend looked at him with a pensive gesture. “And you as well, my friend. Blessed is the day you agreed to go out with me.”
Danny rolled his eyes, going back to his suitcase to get his swimming trunks and change in the bathroom. He looked at himself in the mirror once he had changed. It wasn’t like he thought he wasn’t pretty, he knew attracted attention; it was just he didn’t care that much about it, you know?
Not that he was actually looking for someone else - he had two amazing best friends that were too good for him and actually beat into his head that they really liked him and wanted to try a relationship. They made him feel special already and he had lucked out on the partner department. Why care about more?
***
No kidding, the food was half devoured by the time he and Tucker made an appearance at the beach. The Waynes had set up a dining table and chairs in a wooden platform close to the beachline, since the whole place was for them.
Jazz had saved him some, but both knew it wasn’t enough to feed his ghostly metabolism, so Danny proceeded to grab a plate and stuff there anything that looked half decent.
Who was he kidding - rich people's food was amazing and it wasn’t either his parents’ ecto contaminated food or Jazz’s bland cooking.
With a full belly and after being bullied by his sister and partners to get suncream on, despite insisting that he was already dead and wouldn’t be affected by human ailments; Tim had convinced him to try out a monster of an inflatable floaty that was shaped like a giant avocado.
“Alright now what?” He watched as the young man pushed him and his inflatable platform further from shore. Sam and Tucker said they would follow once their floaties were ready.
“Now we wait.”
“For what.” Danny carefully moved a little so Tim could sit beside him on the inflatable avocado.
“For a big wave and then we ride it.”
“Like surfing?” the halfa frowned a little. The sea was calm for once. “And when will a wave come?”
“Anytime now.”
There was a bit of silence, but Danny didn’t mind. Between the sounds of the sea and the quiet companionship, he realized it has been a solid minute since he just… stopped and lived in the moment.
Tim was a cool guy, a bit weird, but the kind of weird that he was used to. He could talk for hours about something and didn't realize he had been rambling about a million things at the same time - Sam said they were very much alike in that sense, usually with a small knowing smile.
Okay he was cute. Danny wasn’t afraid to think it (now, to say it out loud…)
“Okay, I wanted to, uh, talk.”
“Alright?” Talk? About what?
When he turned to look at the other, he had his face hidden under his hair. Danny’s eyes went for their feet kicking the water, trying to decipher what the other would want to say.
“Tim?”
“Um.”
“You wanted to talk?”
“Talk? Who, me?” He laughed, sunking his head further. Danny saw the other’s ears when he moved, and they were red. He was blushing?
“What do you want to talk about?” And why did he need Danny alone? “Do you need help with something?”
Tim, instead of answering, took a deep breath and turned to look at him with a smile. There was no trace of a blush anywhere.
“You know what? It can wait.”
The halfa narrowed his eyes, detecting his own bullshit deflecting techniques - it could wait, but that didn’t mean Tim was gonna actually talk to him later in the trip, or maybe ever.
“Tell me. Is something bothering you?”
Maybe something he was too embarrassed to say? Or something he didn’t want his brothers to know and that’s why he was coming to him for help. Danny would help him hide a body if that’s what he wanted-
Woah, okay. Where did that come from?
It’s true that they were friends, but…
Tim shook his head. “Nah, everything is fine. So, about those waves.”
Danny narrowed his eyes but let it go. “No waves are coming. But, we can do something funnier.”
“Oh?” The other seemed interested. “Please enlighten me.”
Without further words, Danny transformed, ignoring the way his friend shivered when the rings phased through him at being this close. Sam and Tucker always said it was like a cold breeze.
“Now look who is overdressed.”
“Har har. Check this out.”
Using a bit of flight, Danny stood on the inflatable avocado and extended a hand. He focused, his green eyes turning a shade of blue that wasn’t quite human, and a freeze ray emerged from his fingers. The water on the side of the avocado was now slippery ice.
“I don’t understand where this is going, but that was kind of useless. You can’t freeze the sea.”
“I’m not planning on freezing the sea,” was Danny’s only warning before he shot a normal green beam from his other hand.
For those with basic physics knowledge, you’d know that Newton’s third law of motion says that every action has an equal and opposite reaction. In this case it meant that the poor floaty and its passengers were propelled forwards and placed on the patch of ice.
“You okay there?” Danny looked at his legs, where the poor human had latched on to not fall into the water.
“Yeah. And I see where this is going.” Quickly and carefully, showing off his nigh perfect balance control, the vigilante stood as well on the avocado. Tim fretted a little about where to place his hands, but decided to simply grab Danny’s shoulders. “Hit it.”
Not needing to be told more, Danny launched them both in a stupid yet incredible show of power - with one hand he froze the water in front of them and with the other he propelled the floaty like it was some kind of raft turned into a speedboat.
Both were laughing as they zipped from one end of the beach to the other, doing loops and stunts that nearly had them fall and eat ice and maybe break some bones.
Danny was having the time of his life, until his friend gasped.
“What’s the matter?” He asked, but his eyes were fixed on their paths and his concentration on using the freeze beam and the ecto beam at the same time.
“I think your sister is flirting with my brother.”
“WHAT.”
It took one moment, one second he looked towards the group of people gathered under beach umbrellas, to break his focus. It didn’t matter that his eyes confirmed it - Jazz was talking to Tim’s older brother, Jason, with a big smile on her face -, because when he stopped looking at where they were going his freeze ray stopped and physics did the rest.
Halfa, human and floaty were launched into the air and back into the water at a speed that would make the crash really hurt. In the last moment, Danny grabbed Tim and made them both intangible so the force of hitting the water at that speed didn’t break any of his bones.
They swam back to the surface, Danny now in human form, completely drenched and breathless from the scary fall.
“You guys okay?” They heard Dick call from the shore.
Danny did a thumbs up, but couldn’t really see with his black mop of hair in front of his eyes. He combed it back with his other hand, finding Tim really close.
“Hello there.”
The other’s cheeks flushed. “Well, that was fun.”
They looked at each other, the sound of the waves crashing in the sand filling in for conversation. Danny felt his cheeks burn a little, his eyes roaming toward the other’s lips when he licked the salt water from them. He had a healing cut in his lower lip, probably from crime fighting.
He wanted to kiss it.
Wait.
“I-I wanted to talk, yes.” Tim looked away for a moment, before frowning and turning back to him.
Danny heard Tim’s heart start beating faster and connected the dots. “I think I know where this is going.”
“You do?” There was a spark of fear in the blue. “Then what’s your answer?”
“I’ll have to talk with my partners but-”
“Partners?”
Danny blinked. Tim blinked.
“Dude,” he deadpanned, “I’m in a polycule with Tucker and Sam. You… you didn’t know?”
By the panicked face and the looks he gave the the group on the shore, and specifically, Danny’s best friends still getting ready to get into the water (the fuckers probably knew this was going to happen and set them up, Danny had to have a talk with them); Danny understood that Tim had no idea he was taken before trying to confess.
“Oh my god, I’m so sorry. I will shut up now. This didn’t happen. Forget I said anything.” He covered his eyes with his hands.
“How didn’t you know? I never hid it.”
“I just thought you guys were very good friends!”
Danny threw his head back and laughed.

The Dancer League!
It all started with an idea... well, an idea and a photo. In the words of Nick Fury: "The idea was to bring together a group of of remarkable people to see if they could become something more. To see if they could work together when we needed them to, to fight the battles that we never could."
And the photo only helped bring things to life...
Tumblr media
Ladies and gentlemen, I present to you... the Dancer League!
Inspired by DC's Justice League, it's the Danceverses' mightiest heroes together in one team! These are some of my HCs for these heroes, who they are, and what they do!
Tumblr media
First and foremost, Mister Overload! Secretly Dancity weather man Richard "Rick Roll" Roland, Mister Overload gained his powers of lightning one night when he nearly got struck by a bolt of it!
A prominent member of the League, he is already ready with a joke and encouragement for his fellow heroes whenever they're having a rough time!
Tumblr media
Up next is the incredible Peacenator! No one really quite knows who this hero hailing from WackyGroove secretly is, but no one has fought to find out, mostly because they can't!
Peacenator always has an aura of calm around him that soothes others and helps put an end to quarrels. Of course, he can use his fists if he needs to.
Tumblr media
Lady Dynamite! Stacy Prince takes up the explosive role of Lady Dynamite and her powers always pack a punch! Just as quick to start a fight as to finish it as Lady Dynamite, Stacy happens to know and be friends with our next hero outside of her life as a hero as well...
Tumblr media
Justice! Secretly known as... ready for it? DAHLIA, has been best friends with Stacy Prince since they were kids and now they fight crime in Dancity together! Both are powerful heroes on their own, but when working together, they are unstoppable!
Tumblr media
Next up is Cybeam! Outside of his work as Cyberfunk's finest hero, he's the tech genius Marcus West! Blinded in one of his one experiments with virtual reality, he invented his signature visor that helped restore him "sight" and now he helps to keep the streets of Cyberfunk safe with his own unique flair!
Tumblr media
What could would this League be without a little controversy? The Without Me trio are longtime favorite heroes of the people of Dancity! Phone Girl (Bella Swift) Hairman (Danny Davis) and Pool Man (Bobby Wood) were initially a joke when they debuted as heroes during a particularly nasty wave of crime in Dancity, but they quickly showed everyone just how amazing they could be when working together!
And THAT ladies and gentleman, is the Dancer League for you! (Don't kill me for not having the Wannabe Girls in here, I honestly view them as more of of working on their own!

Role Reversal AU
Basically, the heroes are villains and the villains are heroes or civilians.
There's a lot of information that I packed into this post.
Beings that aren't included in the swap are: Captain Marvel/Shazam/Champion Teth/Black Adam Captain N*zi (because fuck no is any n*zi going to be anything but evil. No Marvel mistakes with this au.) The Seven Deadly Enemies of Man Literally all of the villains trapped on/in the Rock of Eternity Orange Lantern The Blue Lanterns The Indigo Lanterns White and Black Lanterns Demons maybe Constantine? what do you guys think? Darkseid (good darkseid could be interesting tho) Doomsday Hfuhruhurr (aka Word-Bringer; an alien that collects brains from all over the universe to create an immortal hive mind called "The Union") Mongul 5th dimensional beings (they just like annoying people in general) Pariah Dark probably more
Some Heroes: Amity Park - Plasmius, Technus, Skulker, GIW, Maddie & Jack Gotham - Joker, Two-Face, Bane, Killer Croc, Poison Ivy, Ra's Al Ghul (the LOA is more like a secret watcher's society but more infighting in a friendly way) Metropolis - Lex Luthor, Cyborg Superman, Metallo, Parasite London - Cheetah, Giganta, Circe(part-time) Justice League (leaders) - Talia Al Ghul, Lex, Professor Zoom, Cheetah, Star Sapphire (Carol Ferris), Black Manta, Cyborgirl Justice League (general) - Poison Ivy, Gorilla Grodd, Captain Marvel, Red Lantern(Guy Gardner), etc.
Most villains who don't commit any violent crime are simply civilians in this au. (ex: Catwoman, Box Ghost, or Kite Man) Some villains - like Sivanna - become civilians while their family members become villains.
Some background info:
Danny dies and it pisses him off that his parents don't notice. Sam and Tucker agree and they become menaces to Amity Park. Maddie and Jack notice and decide that someone needs to reign in the troublemakers, which makes things worse. Then, the ghosts start noticing and they start sending a ghost to take care of the rogue ghost. Eventually, they find that Skulker and Technus are best suited to deal with the trio. Wolf and Cujo join the trio. Plasmius joins Skulker and Technus and they start trying to clone Danny to try to create an equal to fight against him. The clones are mostly viable because of the help of Technus and the Fentons. Team Phantom kill the clones except for Dani, who joins them. Jazz, while not evil, isn't good either. She just wants to prevent her brother from killing their parents. Because all the good guys are much less concerned with keeping civilians safe, there are a few casualties, which includes Jazz. Jazz notices that Team Phantom might be right about her parents, so she leaves Amity and eventually teams up with Zatanna. TLDR; Danny's mad at his parents and makes Team Phantom to cause chaos around Amity Park. Jazz leaves after she dies and joins Zatanna.
Zatanna (and her father) were low level thieves that were performing as stage magicians before Nabu's helmet turned Giovanni into Dr Fate. Zatanna became enraged at how he wouldn't give her father back and started murdering and stealing other magic user's powers and tomes in hopes of one day returning her father to her. After she found Jazz, who offered to help remove the helmet, she stopped murdering as many people. The two often help Klarion get in the way of Nabu's plans to get rid of anything he perceives as chaotic. While they happen to befriend Klarion, they never stop stealing.
Bruce becomes Owlman and is in charge of the Court of Owls. Tim, Dick, and Jason become Talons. Alfred is known as the Executioner. Barbara is a jewel thief until she loses the ability to walk thanks to falling off a roof while being chased by Joker. After, she becomes a cyber security threat that constantly steals, releases criminals from jail, and hacks into whatever tech the heroes use. Kate becomes a mob boss. Signal starts out stealing, but accidentally turns into a small time mob boss that works on the opposite side of the city. Commissioner Gordon is a corrupt cop who is firmly in Bruce's pocket. He sometimes fills in for Bruce during CoO meetings when Lucius can't. Cass is an assassin called Orphan that inspires more fear than (canon) Deathstroke. Steph got annoyed by how often her dad (cluemaster) was out of the house and became Spoiler - a villain similar to (canon) Riddler. Selena, while she's a civilian, also happens to be Bruce's street level informant.
Clark, while still having been raised by Martha and John Kent and becoming Superman, decides that being a hero is rather boring. While ruling the world sounds intriguing, he's seen many other villains that are just as competent as he is that want to rule. So he decides that he wants to be a complete (rather dark) nuisance. He ruins buildings by tagging them with his heat vision, freezes major water sources, cloned Lex and himself (technically it's a test tube baby but whatever) once, finds ways to steal everyone's stashes of kryptonite, and sometimes murders people. Kon or Conner lives with Lex part time and has two loving parents, both of which don't understand why he enjoys randomly jumping into their battles and fighting them both (causing as much property damage as possible). Lois helps keep criminal activity out of the papers and clocks Clark as Superman right away. She regularly publishes smear campaigns against the heroes and paints Superman in good light. Kara and her clone - Powergirl - regularly fight against Parasite and Cyborg Superman who constantly thwart their plans to take over the world (they're taking Lex's route).
Green Lanterns are like corrupt cops whose mission is to exert their will over others. Hal kills his dad's previous employer while Sinestro tries to stop him. Sinestro creates the Sinestro Corps and is much more like "our and others' fears fuel us and drive us to be able to save people" rather than "fear is true power and should be used as a way to control people". When Parallax takes over Hal, they become the ultimate hero but over time Parallax starts to become corrupted by his willpower and Specter jumps in to keep Parallax from becoming the ultimate evil. After a while Parallax decides that Sinestro is a much better host and both him and Specter leave Hal, who decides to take a long break doing petty crime before breaking the Green Lanterns out of prison. Carol, in the beginning, stops Hal and other Green Lanterns from committing crimes but eventually stops and focuses mostly on taking care of her business and the Star Sapphires. The Green Lantern's main enemies are the Yellow Lanterns, Red Lanterns, and the Manhunters. Blue Lanterns tend to avoid the Green Lanterns and work with the Manhunters.
Barry is super cruel and Eobard Thawne (aka Reverse Flash or Professor Zoom) came from the future to prevent him from destroying everything. Barry's backstory is either he killed his mom and pinned it on his dad, or he ran away from home a few times and his parents died while trying to find him. Thawne is very careful about avoiding Barry while he's a civilian, but is aware that he needs to be close in order to prevent Barry from destroying the timeline or murdering everyone.
Diana has plans on taking over the world of man and eradicating the men while leaving the women in order to create a perfect world for women. Cheetah, Giganta, and (to a lesser extent) Cerce understand that men are needed just as much as women are in order for the world to continue on.
~~~
Feel free to add your own ideas or use this for a fic!
On My Way To You
4 Learning about Paris
As Marinette’s feet touched back on to the rooftops in Paris, she saw Chat Noir, Ryuko, and Viperion.
“Milady, Queenie told us to meet with you. What is happening?” Chat spoke up as he approached Ladybug. Concern written all over his face. She was supposed to be at her aunt and uncle’s farm this week. Why the sudden message from Abeille stating that their leader needed to meet with them.
“I have to tell you all some news. Bunnyx told me, before leaving for my aunt’s farm, of a new Miraculous threat. She also told me that it would be wise to involve the Justice League this time. Right now, our Queen is keeping Superman and other members company. I would like for you to be there with me when I tell them. This way we are all in the know and I only have to say this once. Hopefully.” Ladybug sighed, not liking the fact that she hadn’t had the time up until now to let them know that there was the possibility of more danger happening in another city in the near future.
“You know I will follow you wherever you need me to go, Ladybug.” Viperion approached and put his hand on her shoulder.
“He’s right, hime. You have our complete trust. I will go with you.” Ryuko nodded in agreement.
“Take us to the party, Bug. You already knew my answer before you stepped foot through Kaalki’s portal.” Chat Noir smiled.
Ladybug smiled, relieved to hear the words that she already knew but needed to hear at that moment. “I know that, but I need this to be your choice. Before we go back to the farm, I will tell you what I told Abeille. I leave the choice to you if you reveal your identity to everyone that is there.” The trio nodded their heads.
With that, Ladybug turned back around, “Good. Voyage.”
~~~~~~
As the portal opened back up, Damian stood straighter and gripped his blade tighter. He was still unsure about this whole situation. He knew that this wasn’t a set-up. What he didn’t like was not knowing what was going on, for Marinette to reveal their identities like she did.
Three new figures stepped through the portal before Ladybug reappeared. “Kaalki, dismount,” Marinette’s suit changed once again. She was now in a suit that was a black suit that had red gradient through the shoulders and her hips with black polka dots where her suit was red, and red polka dots where it was black. She wore black boots that came to a point on her thighs with two thick red stripes. With coordinating black gloves that reached mid-bicep, with the same two stripes at the top of her gloves. With her ever present yo-yo, attached to her hip.
They saw a tiny floating white and brown horse appear. Ladybug then reached for her yo-yo, put her hand into the yo-yo and retrieved an apple from her pocket dimension. “Thank you, Kaalki. Here is your apple. Tikki, spots off.” Marinette de-transformed back to her regular clothes. After handing the small red kwami a cookie to regain her strength. Tikki sat down on Marinette’s shoulder, ready to help in any way that she could, if needed.
The little horse kwami bowed. “It was my honor, Guardian.” Kaalki replied before she ate her apple.
“Alright, we can start this now. My name is Ladybug, I am the leader of the Miraculous team and the Grand Guardian. This is Chat Noir, Viperion, and Ryuko. There is one other member that is permanently in our group, but she is the one that is finding more information for us to follow, even as we speak. Her name is Bunnyx.” Marinette then introduced the Kent’s and Wayne’s to the French heroes. Marinette was fully in leader mode. Where she was clearly still unsure about her decision before she left for her other members, Damian could see she was now ready to take charge of the situation.
“Marinette, since when have there been heroes in Paris, and why are we just now hearing about this?” Clark asked, wanting to learn the answer, with everyone else nodding along.
Marinette sighed, scratching the back of her neck. Let it begin, I suppose. “We have been heroes for 8 years now. Chat and I were tasked by the former Grand Guardian to become the chosen holders of the Kwami’s of both Creation,” pointing to herself then pointing to Chat who raised his hand with an awkward hand, “And destruction, the two most powerful miraculous known to exist. We were needed to rescue Nooroo, the kwami of Transmission and Duusu, the kwami of Emotion.” Alfred held Nooroo’s Kwagatama just a little tighter, almost like he was giving Nooroo a hug. Truly sad to hear that his dear old friend was abused like that.
“A lot of the citizens wanted the Justice League to be called in the beginning. We brought up the argument, that if anyone in the Justice League were to be akumatized everyone in Paris would be dead. With no chance of being revived.”
At this, the man with black and teal dyed hair and a black suit with a deep forest green chest piece that turned lighter green the closer to his abs, Damian remembered him being introduced as Viperion “When you are akumatized whatever negative feelings you had could be magnified. Depending on how strong your feelings were was how difficult the battle was to fight.”
“Chat Noir and I were the only permanent fighters for about a year and a half, though depending on the akuma we were able to get permission from Master Fu, the old guardian, to find a temporary holder for another kwagatama so long as their identity was not compromised, and they were trustworthy. That is how Chat and I decided that we could keep Reine Abeille, Viperion, Ryuko and Bunnyx as permanent heroes once I became Guardian.”
“It took us 5 years for us to defeat our two villains. You see, we were tasked with fighting against the main villain Hawkmoth, known in his everyday life as Gabriel Agreste, who was the one that used Nooroo. He was later on joined by Mayura, or Nathalie Sancoeur, his assistant who used the kwami Duusu, That ended up killing her not long after we defeated her and Hawkmoth. Hawkmoth could create Akuma’s by finding citizens or tourists that were feeling strong negative emotions. While the victim who was akumatized would forget the attack happened, the citizens who were not akumatized could remember everything that happened to them. If we died, every single death, we would remember them. When you witness an attack, that terror sticks with you long after the attacks did. Most of the citizens of Paris are still in therapy to this day.” There was a very audible gasp heard once they found out that death was involved.
Clark had to ask a question that he was now afraid to hear the answer to. “Did you ever die, Mari?”
“Yes, we have all died, in multiple timelines, so many times that we have lost count.” Marinette knew that there was no use hiding that fact from her cousin.
“The night before Chloe and I got on our bus to come here, Bunnyx came to me after Chloe fell asleep to let me know that there was another villain that found another kwagatama that we will need to fight in order to save the kwami and citizens that will be affected by this new threat.” Marinette turned to directly talk to Bruce and his family. “That is where you will come in, Bruce, as it will directly affect Gotham. I, no. We will need to move to your city at least temporarily. I do know that you don’t like other heroes without your knowledge. Whether you want any of us in Gotham, we will be there. You all will have to accept that this involves all of us. It is my responsibility as the guardian to keep the Miraculous safe from harm. That is something that I take very seriously.”
Bruce was quiet for a moment, lost in thought. “Fine, how can we help? Have you thought of a plan?” Not really liking the fact that they were about to have a few more heroes in his city. It was no secret that he wasn’t the biggest fan of magic. Though magic had its uses, it was something that he could not use without risk of losing himself to the darkness that is inside himself.
“How do you feel about hiring a fashion designer to make you and your family a few suits for any upcoming galas that you will be hosting?” Marinette smiled brightly. Looking over towards Tim, Jason, Dick and Damian, giving them a wink when she heard them snicker. “It just so happens that I know of someone that is great with celebrities. She, along with her two business associates, are looking into opening up a new store in Gotham. I do believe that Tim would love to work with her. I could put in a good word for you and your family, if you like.”
“That being said, I would also like to know if, while we are there, we could help you with your nightly patrols? This would help us get to know Gotham a little better while we look for these Miraculi.” Marinette started stuttering just a little after speaking this part of her plan, “B-before you say too much, let me first let you know that, when it comes to patrolling and stopping every day, well, n-night crimes. You take the lead. We will listen to your directions. When it comes to the Miraculous and kwami, that is where you listen to me. Please.”
Bruce walked up to Marinette, putting a hand on her shoulder. He hoped that she took it as a comforting gesture. He was very bad at showing his feelings in general. “Marinette, I would love to hire this fashion designer you are talking about. If you can get me her contact information, I will reach out to her when we get back to Gotham.”
“You just met her, father. Drake is already in possession of her business card. Though, seeing how the fool reacted in the car on the way here. You may have to pry it from his cold, dead fingers. I can help with that if you would like.” Damian smiled, only half joking, while looking directly at his brother whose hands were already clenched up in fists ready to fight Damian. As if the fool could win.
Marinette’s airy giggle appeared once more. He could get used to hearing her laugh… What? “There will be no need for that, Damian. I have plenty of my business cards in my backpack. I will get one for your father, later.”
Damian gave her a playful pout. “Is there any chance that I can convince you to forget about those extra business cards?” All he got for a reply was an eye roll from Marinette.
“Mari-hime, what is this new threat that Bunnyx has mentioned?” Ryuko spoke up for the first time since they appeared. To Damian, she reminded him of Cass. She was silently observing them, watching to see if there was any threat. She was in a black armored suit with red and gold details swirling throughout her suit. Finally, she had a wakizashi attached to her back.
“There are many different Miracle boxes scattered around the world. Bunnyx has told me that there is a box that has been another set discovered that is based off of mythical creatures from around the world. We have to find the Banshee Miraculous before it is found. As of now, all I really know is that the Banshee Miraculous has been broken like Duusu was, and it was last seen centuries ago in what is now Gotham. We need to find it before anyone else does. If possible.”
“Well Milady, since we will be moving to Gotham, I suppose I should introduce myself to everyone formally. Plagg, claws in.” As Chat Noir de-transformed, a tall blonde man the same age as Marinette approached everyone, waving at everyone. “Hello, My name is Adrien Agreste, chosen holder of Plagg the kwami of destruction.” He pointed to a small flying black cat sitting on his left shoulder.
“Hey, do you have any Camembert floating around in your yo-yo Pigtails?” Plagg asked Marinette.
“I will get you some shortly, Plagg. Just be patient.” Adrien interjected. Plagg grunted at his chosen’s reply.
“Agreste? Any relation to Gabriel?” Dick spoke up, noticing that he wasn’t the only one that picked up on that detail.
“Yes. There is no easy way around the fact that man was my father. If you could even call him that. I am proud to say that I am nothing like that man.” Adrien admitted. He had no love for that man. What love he had for his father was lost long ago.
“The sins of the father should never put a burden on the son. You were proving your self worthy of the respect that you were given the entire time that you fought against Hawkmoth. It matters not what people were saying about you after the defeat of that monster. You proved them all wrong.” Ryuko spoke up with conviction. “Longg, clear the sky.” Ryuko de-transformed into a young woman that looked similar to Marinette, but with some differences. Where Marinette had an angular face and brilliant blue eyes. With hair that now reached down to her waist. This young woman had a round face and deep chocolate brown eyes, with hair that reached just past her shoulders that was currently in a low ponytail.
She gave everyone a bow. “Hello, my name is Kagami Tsurugi. It is an honor to meet you all.”
“Sass, scales rest.”  Viperion now de-transformed. He was wearing black distressed jeans with a black Kitty Section t-shirt and a teal and black vegan leather jacket, both made by Marinette. He then looked back around to the group still gathered together and gave them a smile and waved. “Hello everyone. My name is Luka Couffaine. Marinette, will you need all of us to move to Gotham?”
Marinette had a thoughtful look at that question. “That’s something that I need to think about a little more. I think, if anything, we would need to buy a house that has six or more rooms. That way, you will be able to visit and feel at home. Something that we can live and train in, preferably. But let’s worry about that a little later.”
They all stood around for another hour talking to one another until it was around 9 pm in Kansas, meaning it was closer to 4 am in Paris. Finally, Marinette and Paris three heroes stood up and bid farewell to everyone. Marinette transformed once again before opening a portal once again to send Adrien, Kagami and Luka back to Paris.
The four heroes were soon back where they met up 4 hours ago. Saying their good nights to each other. As Marinette stepped back through Kaalki’s portal for the final time that night. Relieved to know that a plan was at least starting to form.
~~~~~~
Here is the fourth chapter. I am going to be introducing some new kwami later on in the later story. I have an idea about which kwami I am going to use and name, but I have started a list of legends that I want to borrow from. If you have any suggestions, please feel free to message me. I want to pull from myths from all around the world. This is great fun for me. As always, until next time. Bye!!
The Terrifying Trio (T3)
Alright y'all this is my DP x DC x MLB crossover!
Masterlist here
A/N: Rereading this it's more of an outline than a story, oops. I do like this idea and have vague plans to flesh it out & turn it into an actual story, but that will likely be wayyy in the future, so feel free to be inspired by this or flesh it out for me😜 (just please tag me!)
Rating: G (? Mentions of death and experimentation but nothing graphic. Let me know if I should change/add warnings!)
Everyone knew about the T3, as they called themselves. No one imagined they were real until they met them, and then they wished they hadn't; the trio were far more terrifying than their tales.
----------
The T3 began with three completely normal teenagers forced to meet by their friends and family. Their origin was simply to make those who set up this meeting regret it and serve as a warning not to mess with scarily-well-trained teenagers. It worked better than they hoped and grew into a branch of the vigilante groups.
The group, as civilians, looked similar, with black hair and blue or green eyes, and appeared to be a normal teenage friend group.
Wrong.
Nothing about them was normal.
The oldest of the three, Damian Wayne, was the youngest son of multi-billionaire socialite Bruce Wayne, who happened to be a founding member of the Justice League and the original vigilante of Gotham, Batman. His mother was an assassin and the daughter of the League of Assassins' leader. Damian was the fifth user of the Robin mantle and now went by the moniker Phoenix.
Daniel Fenton was the second halfa and King of the Infinite Realms but preferred to be referred to by his hero persona, Phantom. He was Marinette's twin but had been separated at birth.
Marinette Dupain-Cheng was the Grand Guardian of the Miraculous and the true holder of both the Ladybug and Black Cat Miraculi, going by Blackjack as a hero. She was treated as a queen by the other members of the trio, as Danny was her brother and Damian her boyfriend.
----------
Danny Fenton was 14 when he entered his parents' portal to the Ghost Zone and became half-human/half-ghost in a tragic accident. A couple years later he, as his hero alias Phantom, became the new Ghost King by defeating the old tyrant. He was discovered by Superman, who was flying home from Smallville one day and found a ghost boy fighting more ghosts. He became Danny's mentor and introduced him to the Justice League.
Damian was Robin when he was kidnapped by his mother to be part of an experiment, as Heir to the Demon. It didn't work immediately, and he was thrown into a Lazarus Pit to heal and revive him. The Pit bonded with the experimental serum and Damian awoke as a meta with regeneration/reanimation/healing powers similar to Deathstroke's. Damian also began learning basic magic from his brother Jason's girlfriend, Raven.
Marinette knew she was a true Ladybug, but once she took back the ring from her ex-partner she discovered that she was also a true black cat. Her arch-nemesis Hawkmoth and his allies were swiftly defeated with her combined abilities and the support of her team. A previous Ladybug's daughter, who was a museum curator in Paris, recognized her energy and offered to become her mentor, introducing Ladynoir to the Justice League.
----------
Today was the day for the Leaguers to bring their mentees to the Watchtower to meet the other mentees/partners. Batman arrived first as always, accompanied by Robin. Superman arrived soon after with Superboy and Phantom, then Wonder Woman and Ladynoir.
Nightwing pushed Robin towards Phantom and Ladynoir, who were gazing out at the galaxy in awe.
“Go make some friends, Baby Bat!”
“Tt.” Robin stalked over to the other two, who barely acknowledged him. “If you do not want my company, do not hesitate to say so.” Please.
Ladynoir turned and scanned him critically. “Hm...were you forced to come and 'socialize' and 'make contacts, if not friends', too?”
“Unfortunately. I am perfectly happy with the small circle of friends I already have.”
Phantom turned from the stars to the conversation. “My sister keeps telling me I need more socializing for my mental health or whatever, but I'm perfectly fine with my girlfriend and guy in the chair.”
“Exactly!” exclaimed Ladynoir. “I have my team, why do I need civilians or more hero friends?”
“Why don't we show our mentors why they shouldn't encourage us to make friends, then,” suggested Robin.
Cheshire grins spread over the others' faces.
Across the room, deep in their own conversation, their mentors shivered.
----------
After that, the trio really did become friends. One day, during a visit to the Batcave to see Robin, an incident happened that forced Robin to find out that Phantom and Ladynoir's DNA showed their genetic similarity; both siblings had been adopted and hadn't known it. That was an awkward conversation. Ladynoir was glad she had a crush on Robin, not Phantom, which would have made it even worse.
Ladynoir was introduced to her brother's clone, Dani (her sister? Cousin?) The trio told each other their civilian identities several months into their friendship collaboration and started their own hero group, Styx.
(Dani and Jason were honourary members.)
Damian shed Robin and became Phoenix instead, and Ladynoir became Blackjack, but Danny decided to keep Phantom as his alias.
----------
Damian asked Marinette out while they were on a stakeout. When she happily responded, “It's a date!” he got a little flustered. Danny looked at him and grinned at his friend's awkwardness.
Having had years of practice as their alter egos, all three members of Styx were excellent fighters, but even as civilians, they were trained in martial arts, with their mothers being formidable women. Maddie Fenton was an eighth-degree black belt, Talia al Ghul was a leader of assassins, and Sabine Cheng was a former assassin/mercenary.
Damian discovered Sabine's old career on the stakeout and was struck by how similar he and Marinette were. Of course, Mari was usually a lot nicer (maybe softer was a better word?) than him, even after she toughened up, but they were similar in many other ways.
After the intel they needed was gathered they realized how close they were when they glanced up from reviewing the information. Damian froze and Marinette leaned in a tiny bit. “Is this an actual date?” she whispered.
He swallowed. “I hope so.”
Mari smiled softly. “Me too.”
He closed the distance tentatively and she inched closer.
Danny flew up just after his sister's and friend's lips met. “I called it! Jason owes me $20!”
They jerked apart, glaring daggers at him. “Danny!”
----------
T3, the civilian Styx, finally agreed to let their friends/teams meet each other. Phantom and Blackjack had interacted with the Bats and Titans on missions and JL gatherings before, but the Miraculous Court and Team Phantom hadn't met yet.
Yet again, a glowing portal opened in Amity Park, but his time it was connected to Paris. Danny's support trio (not to be confused with his abetting trio) stepped into the Miraculous Corut's HQ. Luka and Juleka Couffaine-Stone, Kagami Tsurugi, Chloe Bourgeois, Max Kante, and Alix Kubdel met Tucker Foley, Sam Manson, and Jazz Fenton. Max and Tucker became instant frenemies, battling over tech, while Sam and Juleka bonded surprisingly quickly over all things goth.
----------
The T3 waited in the shadows of the warehouse to apprehend the cultists intent on summoning a long-dead magician. When it was go time they transformed (Blackjack had figured out how to do it without a flash of light), becoming the cultists' nightmares, Styx.
Danny had glowing green eyes, weightless white hair, fangs, and Phantom's general ghostly presence for beginning intimidation.
Blackjack appeared as a white-haired, glowing green cat-eyed, fanged, clawed, and winged being: in short, terrifying.
Phoenix had glowing green eyes, white hair, sharper-than-should-be-normal teeth, a katana on his back and fireballs in his hand. (The Pit had whitened his hair completely, but he had a glamour spell on his civilian form to appear as before with black hair. The pyrokinesis was one of his favourite spells and one of the first Raven taught him, upon plenty of begging bribing.)
Present Mic - the sad happy one
For one of my first texts, I want to talk about one of the most underrated, and sometimes borderline forgotten, characters in My Hero Academia, Hizashi Yamada aka Present Mic. This will contain spoilers for the MHA manga, the anime, and the MHA Vigilante manga. Let me start with a brief recap of what we learn about him early on. Mic is a pro hero and a member of the UA staff who teaches English. Like most teachers, he was a student of UA. Besides teaching, he is also the announcer of UA events, probably because of his voice quirk which allows him to amplify his voice to the point of creating a dangerous shock wave or sonic boom. And because two highly stressful jobs aren’t enough, he also has a weekly radio show called “Put your hands up radio”, where he broadcasts nonstop music every Friday. He presents himself mostly as an extrovert, loud and enthusiastic guy who wants to pull everyone around him into his excitement, which leads to him actually being mistaken for an announcer rather than a pro hero. He is the hype man of UA, no matter what, being a perfect contrast to Aizawas stoic and rational approach to everything. But is that correct? I think the fandom perspective on him is “the golden retriever to black cat Aizawa” doesn’t do him any justice and ignores some feature plot points!
Before I get into the bigger theme I want to focus on, I’d like to call out how perceptive Mic is and how analytical he works, because after the incident at the training camp arc, where the League of Villains attacked the secret location of where it was held, he called out the logical thing. In the staff meeting happening in Chapter 83 he was the first to coin the theory of the UA traitor, because if just the people inside UA knew about the specifics, one of them had to leak it. He is proven right in chapter 336, but nobody ever talks about it in this context. As much as I love the plot of Class 1-A being one united front, a bit of recognition towards Mic would’ve been nice. But the biggest misinterpretation of his characters stems from his and Aizawa’s shared backstory, including Oboro Shikamaru, the later Nomu called Kurogiri. In the prequel manga MHA Vigilantes, set a few years before the main series where Aizawa just starts teaching, we get a detailed flashback in chapters 59-65. They are shown as second year students at UA, with their struggles with planning their future, school work and of course becoming pro heroes. Calling themselves the rooftop trio, they dreamt of opening an agency and adopting stray cats. In every hero student's career comes the days of the work studies, when they do internships with experienced heroes, so they get some practical experience. Unfortunately, a catastrophe happens while Aizawa and Oboro were together in their work study, and Oboro died tragically when a building collapsed onto him. Aizawa wasn’t able to save him and Mic came much later to the scene and couldn’t do anything. The first time, Mic was not there to safe a friend and could just deal with the aftermath.
The second time something like this happens is in the war arc, where the conflict between heroes and villains gets to an unknown height till this day. In the conflict in the Paranormal Liberation Arc there were a lot of casualties and one of them was the pro hero Midnight, fellow UA teacher, and someone the rooftop trio knew from school, because she was just a little older. The mistreatment of Midnight and other female heroes is maybe a topic for another day, so I focus back on Mic. Again, he wasn’t by his friend's side. In the same arc Aizawa loses an eye and his leg, by cutting it off himself, when he was hit by a quirk erasing bullet and wanted to prevent himself from losing his quirk. Aizawa is stable and has accommodations, but Mic was not with him. He fought Kyudai, the doctor who helped OFA creating the Nomus. But still, he was unharmed while one of his friends died and the other one was gravely injured. And at this point you can’t tell me that on top of the trauma of being a pro hero, being in a war and losing people, the fact that he is fine while others aren’t, isn’t fucking a person up. One thing that feels weird and outrageous to be, but really unsurprising when I look at the real world, is that there seems to be no actual support system or help for the pro heroes because all of them should have therapy. The amount of trauma, stress, probably PTSD, they have must be unbearable, but for them, it’s probably just a part of the job. I mean, we also see this very early on in the young students, but it’s easier to recognize it in them, than it is in the pros. I think Aizawa and Mic are not so very different, I even think they are two sides of the same coin, because while Aizawa went into isolation after Oboro’s death, Mic went on throwing himself into work to drown out the thoughts and the pain. He kinda lost two friends with this incident because Vigilantes shows how Mic and Aizawa are distant from each other. They both have to deal with very similar pain, but not one of them talks about it, because they have to go on being heroes. The thing is, I wouldn’t be writing this is Aizawa just naturally got more screen time because of his home room teacher position and that’s why we don’t see as much of Mic, but in Vigilante and in the Kurogiri/Oboro reveal they are focussed equally but still, we ignore the guy who just seems more happy and energetic. I don’t think the final chapters we are now getting, because the manga will end this year, will give Mic and Aizawa time and focus to deal with Kurogiri, but if it happens, I can just see a few options that would make sense for Mic. He may break down, if he loses another person and let’s be honest that could be Aizawa because things are bad enough as it is. What I consider more realistic is that he will not break down passively, but just the danger of loosing another will fuse his anger and his survivor guilt, and he will throw himself into danger, protecting others and may be even killing himself in the progress just to not having to watch another one die in front of him. I think each one of the characters is tragic in their one way because of how hero society works, but as in real life we tend to ignore the people who say that they are fine, which makes Present Mic as a character so much more bitter.
Welcome to chapter 3! This week I have written 2 scenes (and started third one) instead of planned 1 so I'm celebrating by dropping this chapter one day earlier than low key planned (who am I kidding the schedule is pretty much non existent lol 😂)
Also, turns out this story might actually end up being 7 chapters... Unless I make chapter 6 really long. We'll see!
Some action this chapter! Feral Protective Dad Grayson strikes again! Thanks for sticking around! Hope you enjoy!
Auntie Diana
Wonder Woman, Batman, and Superman were in the Batcave looking over their future mission.
Superman walked away so he could talk to Lois.
"So how's the dad life going?" Wonder Woman asked.
"That has nothing to do with the mission," Batman pointed out.
"So, you don't have a wife, so I can't talk to her like I talk to Lois, so I'll ask again. How's the dad life going?" Wonder Woman replied with sass.
"Ever learned to mind your own business?"
"Says the guy who has information on all the Justice League members." When Superman was done with his call, he walked back to them.
The trio heard giggles coming from behind them. When they looked to who it was, they saw Damian and Johnathan talking with a tray of snacks and some drinks.
"Hi, dad," Johnathan greeted, hugging his dad.
"What are you doing here?" Batman asked, looking at Damian.
"Alfred said you shouldn't have guests over without feeding them."
Damian showed Wonder Woman the available snacks on the tray.
"Aw, you guys are too cute to be their kids," Wonder Woman pointed out, taking a bowl of grapes.
"Thank you," Johnathan replied, walking to the Amazon.
"I assume you boys get your cuteness from your mothers?"
"I guess/ yes," the boys said at the same time.
"A bit rude," Superman and Batman said.
"OH, please, Clark and Bruce, you 2 could never contribute to this amount of cuteness." An idea popped into Wonder Woman's mind.
"May I please be your auntie?" Johnathan got excited, having a superhero dad, 'brother,' aunt, AND an Amazon aunt was the dream he never knew he had. Damian, on the other hand, had no idea what an aunt was.
"What's an aunt?" Everyone besides Batman looked at Damian.
"One of your parent's sister, or a close friend, " Superman explained.
"But you're not my father's sister nor his friend, and doubt you know my mother too."
"Do you not want an aunt?" Wonder Woman asked to convince Damian.
"I do, but that sounds like something the parent is supposed to agree on."
"Who cares, I don't see the problem with having Wonder Woman as an aunt," Johnathan said.
"We care." Batman turned in his chair.
"Forget them, and please, you may call me Auntie Diana."
"Okay," the boys said at the same time
"Yay," Wonder Woman placed the tray of snacks on the nearest table and hugged them while having Superman and Batman concerned about their sons.
"Should we stop them?" Batman asked.
"Nah, I wanna see how this turns out.
Oh hell, someone shoot me... or at least help me find a way to shut the section of my brain that seems to be constantly creating A/Us until I can finish one A/U project...
Here's a Boku no Hero Academia/My Hero Academia A/U with some DC crossovers due to Jason Blood being Izuku's biological father (and being active in Izuku's life). Going to just call it Boku no Magic Hero for now.
Here's a basic timeline...
Jason has been out of the Hero game since the Justice League disbanded roughly two decades or so before the surge of Quirks. He still helps out if something happens when he's in the area, but other than that, he's pretty much settled into civilian life (with a few magical exceptions). He, and Etrigan by extension, moved to Japan when the Quirk Surge was at its peak and as he and the other Magic Users tried to keep the world's magic alive by scattering and trying to find and recruit individuals that could channel magic. But as time went on and the former League members and Magic Users started thinning out.
With some thinking and proper planning, Jason opened a nice little establishment where people can unwind, which he called Magix Machina. This establishment also helps Jason with his search for individuals that can channel magic within a sea of Quirk users. But a year after Jason opened Magix Machina, he heard the news of the death of the other last former member of the Justice League and then the host to Dr Fate passed away. Jason received the Helmet of Fate (or Nabu as he likes to be called when it's just him) in the mail a week after the news, so now all that remains of the Justice League and Magic was Jason Blood (plus Etrigan by extension) and Nabu.
Jason created a golem body for Nabu to use as a way to move around and help out at Magix Machina. Nabu obviously doesn't like it because he doesn't have magic to draw on from the golem, meaning he can't use magic at all, but it was essentially better than sitting on a shelf collecting dust. It takes a few months, but eventually, they slowly started finding people with magic. One of those people is Midoriya Inko (I would say who some of the others are, but I'll save them for later~). The magic lessons go very well with each of the individuals, much to the joy of Jason-Sensei, Nabu-Sensei, and Etrigan-Sensei (he taught the more combative magic).
As life continues, Jason and Inko end up growing closer and then to none of the other students' surprise, the two end up marrying. Then eventually have a son named Izuku. He's pretty much like his canon counterpart tbh. Izuku is still Quirkless by age 5. Jason has guilt over that since he is technically "Quirkless" by the world’s standard. Jason does tell Izuku that it is possible to be a hero w/o powers and tells him stories about his time in the Justice League. Izuku, being the little Hero Otaku he is, absorbed every one of his dad's stories with glee. And much to the child's joy, he inherited his parents' magical abilities.
On this note, Izuku's relationship with Katsuki is more on the healthy side in this. Since Izuku DOES have an ability even if it’s not a Quirk, Katsuki doesn’t start ripping on the greenette for being “worthless” (which means Kacchan is going to be using a different nickname for Izuku in this... Might need to think a bit on that). Things get a little more complicated between the two when they turned 7 when a small chain of events caused Izuku to accidentally summon and bond with Etrigan's newly "acquired" Daughter, Terragan (OC). So now the duo is now a trio, technically. It took a while to get use to Terragan, or Terra as Izuku likes to call her.
Thanks to a pair of Astral Crystals that Jason managed to grow, Etrigan and Terragan can be seen and heard by mortals when not in control but they can't do anything to anyone as a trade-off. The Astral Crystals also work on Jason and Izuku when Etrigan and Terragan are in control. So imagine how school was for Katsuki and Izuku with a demon kid around (*cough*chaos*cough*).
When the kids are 10, there was a bit of a dry spell of finding new magic sensitive individuals, which is when one of the Magic Students suggest that Jason get back into the Hero Business as a way to raise awareness for Magic. After some careful thinking and some encouragement from Inko, Izuku, and surprisingly Katsuki, Jason (and Etrigan by extension of course) makes his decision.
While Jason/Etrigan re-integrate back into the Hero Society and learn how different things are compared to when he was with the Justice league, Katsuki, Izuku, and Terra train to get into UA!
(Fun little fact with Etrigan and Terragan in this, they are immune to fire-based attacks due to them being from Hell)
Go ahead and send me asks about this A/U! (Time to open another doc for this).
