Have you ever been curious why Buck didn't sleep in Eddies bed while he watched Christopher. I am not saying there is a huge reason or even one we will ever get, but it was an odd choice. The fact is if was staying at my besties watching their kids I would probably crash in their bed. Especially if I'm still working a strenuous job. And I dont believe Buck had never crashed in it before either.

Maybe I'm to romatic and think he didnt want to sleep in it sans Eddie being there. And I dont mean that in a anything happened in the past romantically way. Oooh, good question. TBH, I didn't wonder about it, probably 'coz I too would have chosen to slept on the couch. I wouldn't feel comfortable to sleep in a friend's bed if I'm staying at their house and don't have explicit permission to. In fact, I've house-sat twice for friends, so I had explicit permission to be in their house, and I still didn't sleep in their bed (which yeah, Eddie wasn't conscious to give Buck permission to stay in his house, let alone discuss sleeping arrangements, I'm sure if he was awake, he would have told Buck it's fine, but I think as long as he didn't, Buck wouldn't feel comfortable assuming). But hey, I'll say that here, a lot of elements come into play, such as what is the norm in the place where someone lives, and also maybe what personality traits they bring into it (I have social anxiety so my fear of accidentally overstepping social boundaries is greater than my need for a comfy bed). IDK about the social norm in Buck's circle of friends (though I do tend to think you're right and if they hadn't slept in each other's bed before, at least after quarantining together for covid that was no longer the case), but I think based on the latter, it makes sense that Buck didn't sleep in Eddie's bed during his absence. Still, I do agree that knowing why Eddie is absent probably made the thought of occupying his bed without him being there even more painful and def added to Buck's decision not to sleep there.

I also def agree with you on the artistry and attention they pay to Buddifer shots! Even in scenes where it's the whole firefam having fun together, Buddifer are positioned together and framed as a family unit in and of themselves within the bigger found family that's at the core of the show. they are openminded af and supportive too but puberty makes you see stuff differently like everyone is against you like the world is against you (last one might be true dunno yet) , living on my own now seems to be a bit better but as our Greek ancestors used to say theres no good without bad and the bad in this scenario is that its lonely as fuck , having lived for 18 years with my family it really hits a weird spot , everything feels lonelier now with the virus spreading around not being able to see others as much as we used to , uni doesnt feel nice , many people dont pay attention and its like the second half of 12th grade all over againgot my monthly money 4days ago , went from 200 to 9.28 quickly , when i have money i spend when i dont i m stingy , mostly like to build computers , watch lots of Linus , Paul , Kyle , Jay etc. most of my money goes to buying stuff about computers food , used to give lots of money to internet cafes when i used to hang out with the guys from school , not anymorewith the start of uni we all met new friends even i but i still feel like i am drifting apart day by day , stopped talking to my old girl friend cause i was kinda done with her attitude , called me some names i didnt appreciate because i put up with her attitude , most of the time in her own world , only would really pay attention and try to change herself when it was something she cared about , one of them wasnt her character , but to give the goods of her she was a good friend dont know if i can say she still is a friend or just someone i know , she helped me even with the girl i had a crush on , was really fun on trips with the guitar group , all in all a fun person , thing is i stopped texting her and telling her to go out cause it was 80% me trying and the other 20% her and i think that proved right when i stopped talking to her cause i thought she will see that i m not talking to her she ll think somethings wrong she ll message me to go out and have fun , send me a happy bday message posted some pics of me , didnt send me anything else after , stopped talking to her around the start of October , if i hadnt asked her something about her uni and if it wasnt my bday i dont think we wouldve talked in all of october . last saturday i was working in the area she lives in my city decided to call her sometimes didnt answer tried to suprise her and see how she is by going to her house , noone answered maybe they were on a trip idk , but it feels weird man , in the first half of the year me and a common friend of her and me went out one night , ended up being the bad guy to make her understand that she did something wrong that night , after she left i was left with our common friend talked about stuff and mostly her and i expressed myself , i knew that coming summer me and her would end up at different places so i wanted to tell her all the wrongs with her so that she could finally understand what i ve been putting up against and make her understand that she HAS to pay attention to people around her and that she will meet new people and that she ll have to be careful about her character , used to have a bit of crush on her back in 7th grade , can kinda understand why that went . On the other hand i didnt want to part ways with her with our last words being me ranting , one thing brought the other and she wont be going to her uni's city until early 2021 so i managed to go out with her some more in the summer and september . kinda feels bad to see that almost noone remembered my bday cause i remember in cram school when someone had their bday they would get a fucking cake , dont mistake me i got one , from my ma my two sisters and my moms husband , thing is i wanted to have something happen with friends , nothing happend , around 4 people remembered my bday and the others just send me some happy bday messages after seeing posts from the girl i m talking about .also heres a good song to listen to while reading stuff on reddit Sorrow from FSN by MN64 cant post links from what i understandgonna stop here for now might edit later -Tuesday 3/11/2020 15:15thing is reddit is not the right place to get help and i need a friend but it seems i cant get any from my friends , even my other friend the guy i used to sit with in all middle-high school he has drifted apart , talking more with other of his friends doing other stuff etc , that one time i needed to talk to him he said i ll call you in a while , waitied 1 and a half hour then asked him why he didnt call he said he forgot (i think) , feelsbadmananyway i dont think i m gonna keep editing this i ranted enough , gonna leave the post up for a day or so in case anyone wants to add anything then taking it down -Tuesday 3/11/2020 23:58

ok so I haven't been feeling that the arrangement/relationship was giving much bc it was a purely sexual thing and I was getting bored and low key disgusted.

and like when we met we both agreed for this to be no strings attached bc neither wanted a gf/bf. however I noticed like a year in he was catching feelings because he said "would you like to be exclusive?" and I asked what he meant and he said "that we only have sex with each other" and I said that I didn't know.

cut to like a few months later my sex drive goes down and I don't want to meet up bc it's just for sex and I tell him I'm not really wanting to do anything and he's like "oh but we can hang out still", but hanging out with him is literally sitting in his bed playing video games which isn't interesting or fun for me or watching a movie and have him dry hump me and tell me he wants me to which I get annoyed at because I EXPLICITLY said I didn't want to do anything.

and I also need to mention other things that annoyed me with him. every time in the morning I wanted to leave I always had to like come up with something like a "plan" so I had somewhere else to be and couldn't stay because dude I want to enjoy my weekend. and every time I was like "well o gotta go" and he said "it only takes 6 minutes to the train from here" but like I have smaller legs than you, want to have an extra 5 min in case and I HAVE ANXIETY which I've told him so I need extra time or I'll literally panic. so I almost missed the train several times because he would sometimes refuse to let me get up from bed and I was clearly annoyed at him like this isn't funny and idk why he thinks I'd want to miss my train bc then I'd have to wait 30 min for my bus.

time management. I'm the person that gets to class 20 min early. Gets up 2-3h before I need to leave the house and make sure I have n extra 20-30 min of I'm going to find a new place. this dude was more of a "few seconds before" type of person which gave me anxiety and just felt disrespectful of my time when HE decided time and then never managed to meet me in time. even if 90% of the time he just had to walk down to the lobby door of his apartment to get me on he'd be 10-15 min late.

however I think what was the breaking point for my tolerance was when we decided to watch captain marvel in theatres. I said I'd like to eat before and he was like "sounds good, the movie starts 21.30 so we can meet 20.35 and eat" and I'm like, weird time but okay. and I arrive 10 min early to the mall we're gonna eat at (where they also have the theatre) and I tell him I'm there. 20-30min later I get a text that says "I'll be a little late" and I'm like okaybim in the lobby. he comes through the doors 20 minutes before the movie starts and then is like "so what do you want to eat?" and I say "do we really have time for that" I'm annoyance and he's like sure we do and I'm like....sure....so we have Lebanese food but I can't eat quickly because of my anxiety and past ed so I eat half and put the rest of the shworma in my bag for later. then he wanted to go to another store to buy drinks with like 3 min left until it started. RIGHT OMG when we got there FORTY MINUTES LATE he wants to go say hi to a friend who works in a store there LIKE???!!???????

and onto kinks. he noticed me posting pics of kris wu sometimes going "omg daddy choke me😩😩" as we know I do, and he's like "you're into that?" and I'm like yea, thinking about choking. and then he asks about what I mean with daddy and I explain that's like "he's hot" it's a term used for hot men and he's like "you can call me daddy😏". and me, who only have like 5 names on my daddy list is laughing internally but I'm like whatever, sure.

next time I get to his house he asks me to call him daddy mid sex and I'm like ok??? and I do and there was nothing more to it. like 2-3 times later he goes full dd/lg and oh my gOd was it disturbing. he said stuff like "cum for daddy", "you have to keep quiet or your mom will hear" etc. and I said I didn't like talking during sex prior to this AAAAAND I TOLD HIM ABOUT MY VERY BAD RELATIONSHIP WITH MY DAD so this made me nauseous and I told him I didn't like talking like that during sex. i don't even remember his response but he did it like 2-3 more times before he stopped but like omg I felt so uncomfortable. he kept asking what kinks I had and I said I enjoy hair pulling, choking, being restrained and roughhoused but idk why he translated it into dd/lg.

I had told him vulnerable things about myself that he didn't understand like my anxiety, issues with my period pain, my relationship with my dad and some things about sugar babying. and he really thought he could fix all these things.

third thing. he sent me links to oils, meditation methods and other "natural" ways of getting rid of period pains. and I tell him thank you but if this worked I'd know already. and he's like "but it works for some" and I'm like I'm not saying it isn't, it's just the fact that I almost got immune to strong pain killers specifically made for cramps so rubbing some lavender oil on my vulva won't do shit boy.

fourth. I get that he was probably trying to be nice and give me compliments and I told him I was insecure about my tits because they're not that big. they're a size AA and A on food days I guess. but he said every time that my boobs had gotten bigger like, I'd have a F cup at this point if they actually were getting bigger and he noticed it every time. then however he started saying "your ass had gotten bigger" and it made me feel so selfcouncious. he KNEW about my ed and he KNEW I was still having issues with it so I don't understand why that comment was necessary???? I spiraled after hearing those comments and almost started dieting and skipping meals again because of those comments. and I know it's in and hot to have a big ass rn but o don't want one, love em on other people but I don't want one bc o feelnotd be disproportionate with my small chest and I already feel so uncomfortable sometimes with not being curvy and like it messes me up ......

and just being treated like a sex object in general. sure it was a sexual arrangement, but some respect please.....he would call me sexy even though I said I didn't like that comment bc I didn't see myself as sexy and didn't think it described me well (plus I look younger than I am so it makes me kind of uncomfortable). and saying only things about my body and how hot and sexy I am and it didn't make me feel good. ever. I don't think he ever complimented me on anything else but looks and it gets very boring after a while.

the end of it. as we know I'm in Korea rn studying and he knew this since months back and we hadn't talked since my bday in February and I avoided sc bc we almost only talked there but then I posted something and he replies around July/August and never stops writing even though I don't reply for 1-4 days. immature of me maybe but I was working a lot and didn't even think of replying bc it gave me anxiety to talk to him at this point.

then September. it's 1 month left until I leave and I have a LOT to fix before going and friends to say bye to. he says "can we meet this weekend" and I tell him I work weekends and I have other things to do almost every weekend up to when I leave and idk if I'll have time. he kept pushing again and again and I told him I didn't have time. then like a week left and he asks me to come over tonight and he knows I need to know these things I'm advance or I don't do it bc I'm not an impulsive person. and I tell him "honestly I don't think I will have the time to see you before I leave. I want to say bye to my close friends and my family" and he's like "wouldvevliked to see you one time before you leave though ://" butbi don't reply.

I talk to a few friends and they tell me to break it off but I only did it last week and BOY. I sent him a message on fb saying that I'm sorry but I don't think this kind of relationship works for me anymore, I'm not interested in it and won't be when I come back either probably and I say that I hope he understands. and he just replies "what kind of relationship is this?" and I say fwb at best. and he's like. .....well...I was hoping for more but I could sense you didn't want it.

LIKE!!!!!WHY DIDNT YOU TELL ME SO WE BOTH DIDNT WASTE TIME OMG. LIKE HES AN ADULT. A FULL BLOWN ADULT. HES TURNING 30 NEXT YEAR.

but I tell him yea no I was never looking for that and we agreed on nothing more. and he's like "too bad liked your vibe" and I laughed out loud bc omg that's hilarious!!!! also fuck you. and I say sorry again and that I'm not looking for anything at all and he asks "why?" this dude has the audacity to ask WHY I don't want to suck his dick and I'm trying to be nice about it but I said "do I need more of an explanation than that I don't want to?" and he's like no, but hmu if you change your mind. he also said he wasn't looking for a normal relationship, he wanted something between fwb and a real relationship whatever that means and like ugh I'm so tired....

In conclusion I hate men and I removed him from sc and fb.

The Good Life: Chapter 5

The bell to the lift chimed as the metal doors slowly slid open, signaling that they had reached their desired floor, and Finn stepped aside to allow Rae to walk out first.

“I still can’t believe that we’re on the fifth floor of the building!” Rae mused as she looked over the railing outside of the lift that overlooked one of the busy city streets.

“It’s a good thing neither of us are scared of heights, huh?” Finn joked as he adjusted his grip on the large box he was carrying in his arms.

Finn and Rae turned left after exiting the hallway with the lift, already becoming familiar with navigating the building after following the same path numerous times.

When Finn stopped in front of one of the doors, he turned to look at Rae, who was lagging behind slightly as she walked leisurely to take in the view from the top floor of the building.

“Do you have the keys, Finn, or do I?”

“I do, but I can’t get to them with this box,” Finn replied.

“Do ya want me to take the box from you?”

“No, it’s pretty heavy,” Finn replied with a slight grunt as he adjusted his grip on the box to prove his point, “but can you get the keys out of my pocket?”

“Er, sure...which pocket?”

“Back left pocket of my jeans,” Finn said as he angled his body towards her so she could easily reach his pocket.

“Alright,” Rae replied as she hesitantly reached her hand into the pocket of Finn’s jeans to grab the set of keys.

“Uh, sorry,” Finn replied sheepishly when Rae pulled the keys out of his pocket and it elicited an unexpected giggle from him, “that tickled more than I expected.”

Rae laughed and shook her head, but stepped in front of Finn to unlock the door and allow him to walk inside first.

Once inside the door, Finn walked into the large open space that would eventually resemble a living room and placed the box he was carrying beside the other tall stacks of boxes.

“Was that the last box?” Finn asked over his shoulder as he restacked some of the boxes to reduce some of the clutter.

“Indeed! Who knew that between the two of us, we’d have so much stuff?” Rae asked with a laugh as she looked around the room at dozens of cardboard boxes that had been piled haphazardly around the room.

“I don’t know about you, but I’m very proud of how efficient we were today. We got all your stuff and my stuff packed into the moving truck and got it all brought up to the apartment all in a matter of hours!”

“That’s pretty impressive! We make a good team, huh?” Rae asked as she walked to stand beside Finn and bumped his hip with hers playfully.

“We absolutely do,” Finn replied as he wrapped an arm around Rae’s shoulders and pulled her slightly closer, “I think we deserve to reward our hard work. We should order some takeaway since we have no food here yet and then after we’ve eaten if we feel up to it, we can start unpacking boxes. What do you think about that?”

“I think it’s a great idea. I’ll order and you can go pick it up, if that’s alright with you? What do you want to eat?”

“Of course! I don’t have a preference, I’m just starving and would like a lot of food,” Finn added with a smile as he walked away.

Rae called in their takeaway order while Finn reorganized the boxes against the perimeter of the room to ensure that they had a clear path to walk around without tripping.

“Alright, our order should be ready in less than half an hour. I ordered from the Chinese restaurant just down the street because their online reviews looked really good. I hope that’s alright with you.”

“It’s great, thank you. I’ll leave to go pick it up as soon as I find my keys again,” Finn replied with a nervous chuckle.

“Your keys are on the kitchen counter,” Rae replied with a fond smile at Finn’s forgetfulness, “Do you want me to try to find some plates and utensils in one of these boxes while you’re gone?”

“Yeah, that’d be great!”

Once Finn grabbed his keys, wallet, and phone off of the counter where he had left them, he left to go pick up their takeaway order.

Rae searched through the stacks of boxes trying to find whatever she thought Finn and she would need to eat their takeaway and before long she heard the door unlock and Finn walking through the door.

“Sorry if I took longer than you expected. I, uh, wanted to--what is this?”

Rae beamed with pride at the look of surprise on Finn’s face when he walked into the living room to see a small lamp on top of a short stack of boxes to subtly light the room as well as a pile of pillows and blankets strategically arranged to make the floor more comfortable to sit on, since the couch they had bought online wouldn’t be delivered until next weekend.

“I was looking for the boxes with dishes in them and I got a little carried away,” Rae replied with a shrug as she walked up to take the bags of food from Finn.

“Well it looks great! I thought it seemed appropriate that we mark the occasion today with a drink,” Finn replied as he pulled a pack of beer from one of the bags Rae had placed on the kitchen counter, “so I picked this up too. I know it’s not champagne or anything fancy, but...”

“Don’t worry about it. Champagne is disgusting anyways,” Rae replied with a chuckle as she continued unpacking the bags of takeaway containers onto the counter.

“We can go ahead and serve ourselves food and then I also have my laptop here if you wanted to watch something or listen to music while we eat.”

“I don’t feel like paying close attention to anything, so maybe we can just put on some music?” Rae suggested.

After they had served themselves plates full of various entrees, noodles, and sautéed vegetables, Rae sat down on the pile of pillows and blankets as Finn grabbed his laptop to put on one of his many playlists to listen to in the background.

“It’s crazy to think how quickly everything has moved. I mean, less than a month ago I was panicking about how I was going to find a roommate and a little over a week ago we were barely starting to tour potential apartment!” Rae mused as she ate.

“No kidding! If you’d told me over a month ago that I would have moved out of my Da’s house and be living with you, I wouldn’t ever believe it,”

“Oh wow! Thanks, Finn!” Rae scoffed.

“That’s not what I meant! I just meant that I wasn’t serious about moving out until I found out how badly you needed to find a roommate. Even when I first suggested it, it was just a spur of the moment kind of thing. I couldn’t even fathom why you had agreed to be my roommate, if I’m being honest.”

“Well I’m glad that this whole thing worked out as well as it has so far!”

“Me too, Rae!” Finn replied as he lifted his can of beer into the air in cheers.

The pair continued eating and talking until both were completely stuffed and pleasantly buzzed on cheap beer.

“Wow,” Rae began after a long yawn, “I’m so exhausted!”

“I know what you mean! After lifting all those boxes, I’m sure both our arms are gonna be sore tomorrow.”

Rae leaned over to place both of their now-empty plates on top of one of the nearby boxes. When she sat back, Rae angled her body so she was leaning into Finn’s side.

She looked over at him, silently asking if that was okay, and while he looked a bit surprised, he didn’t hesitate to wrap his arm around her in a loose embrace.

“I don’t want to unpack boxes tonight. I have the day off of work tomorrow as well, so I’ll unpack tomorrow while you’re at work.”

“I can’t let you unpack everything alone! I’ll play hooky from work and stay here to unpack with you,” Finn replied.

“You don’t have to!”

“No, but I want to.”

“Alright,” Rae replied with a small smile as she allowed her eyes to slowly drift shut as they continued talking and listening to music.

When Finn stood from the ground and grabbed the dirty dishes to wash, he looked back to see Rae curled up on the pile of blankets, scrolling through her phone.

“Did you want another beer before I put them in the fridge?” Finn asked from the kitchen after he had finished washing their dishes and setting them aside to dry.

When he did not get a response, Finn walked out into the living room and was surprised to see Rae asleep on the pile of blankets, snoring lightly.

Finn chuckled quietly, walking back into the kitchen only long enough to turn off the light and returned to the living room.

Finn grabbed Rae’s phone from beside her face where she was laying down and set it on the box closest to her so she could easily find it in the morning.

With all of their larger furniture being delivered over the next week, Finn and Rae had already determined that they would be sleeping on the floor for the foreseeable future, so Finn simply unfolded one of the blankets that Rae was not laying on top of and covered her up with it. Finn considered his options for just a moment before shrugging and laying down on the pile of blankets and pillows in the space beside Rae and allowed the dizzying combination of exertion and excitement to lull him into a state of much needed sleep.

A/N: Yay! Move-in day is over and Finn and Rae are OFFICIALLY roommates! I know this point took a while to build up to, so I made a point to make this chapter extra cute and show how quickly Rae and Finn are getting used to the idea of living together and how adorably domestic these two idiots are even though they’ve only lived together less than a day.

The cuteness has only just begun and even just based on the chapters that I’ve already written or mapped out, there is a lot of fun shenanigans in the upcoming chapters. I know the last couple chapters have been super dialogue-heavy between Rae and Finn (idk how y’all feel about this...I LOVE to read/write dialogue-heavy stuff, but it may not be everyone’s cup of tea), but in the future chapters I’m bringing the gang back and we’ll get to see how the gang feels about the Rae/Finn living situation now that more time has passed.

Trick or Treat (Kara x Ralph)

I'm always here to deliver! I think they're one of my favorites to write for because I've got such a sweet tooth with relationships. This turned out really tame and domestic.

It's really just them being a big family on Halloween and the ship element isnt super focused on. Woops, sorry ^_^'

Ralph fumbled with his tie, frustrated. He kept tying it upside down. As a gardener he was used to tying ribbons and yarn to seal packages and hold together arrangements but never had he tied something on himself.

It was Halloween, a human holiday, and Alice had educated her family on the topic. They were to wear costumes and consume copious amounts of sugar and maybe watch a few horror films. It confused Ralph, but the little girl had seemed so excited he couldn't help but join in.

Now here he was, standing in front of the mirror trying desperately to get his outfit to look right. He looked ridiculous. The suit was a bit baggy and the sleeves were a tad too long. Not to mention his hair. Kara had done his hair, so he didnt complain, but it sure was weird seeing it combed up so neatly.

"Ralph doesn't understand why he must wear this." he mumbled, giving up on the tie.

"Because we are dressing up as a group and you were fine with Alice and I picking the costumes." Kara called from their bathroom. Ralph made an involuntary noise when she stepped out to look at him, occupied with fixing her earrings.

Kara looked far better than Ralph. Though, her hair wasnt the right length for the costume and was dyed black, her dress hugged her form in all the right places and her lips were painted red. She looked stunning. Kara came over to him and tied his tie, adjusting it a bit before patting his shoulder.

"You look great, Ralph. Very dapper." she said.

"Kara looks better. No doubt, Kara looks much better. Ralph thinks Kara looks beautiful." Ralph looked at his feet, suddenly very aware of himself in his boxy clothes.

"Thank you Ralph." Kara leaned up on her toes, placing a kiss on Ralph's cheek.

"Ralph, Kara! Jerry is here!" Alice announced, poking her head into their room. She wore her hair in two braids and a black dress with a white collar. Kara followed Alice to the living room to greet Jerry.

"Dont forget your moustache, dear!" Kara reminded him as she went. Ralph nodded, going to the bathroom and searching through Kara's makeup. Once he found the eyeliner, he drew on a thin moustache and joined his family.

Jerry stood in front of him, a bald cap snuggly fit over his head. Ralph couldn't help but laugh. Jerry did go all out.

"You all look great!" Jerry gave a little hop, spinning Alice around the room. "This is going to be so much fun!"

"Now all we need is Luther and we can head out on our adventure." Kara nodded, gathering up everything they'd need for the night. They had extensive plans and Kara marked everything down into time slots. She wanted Alice's first Halloween to be memorable.

"Ralph is sure we will be fine. Plenty of time in the night. He is positive that we will get to everything on Kara's list." Ralph hugged Kara into his side and she smiled, noticeably still worried. They all turned to the door as a slow, loud knock resonated through the house. Alice and Jerry cautiously approached the door and pulled it open to reveal a looming silhouetted figure in the doorway. Ralph squeaked in surprise.

The figure groaned lowly and stumbled forward, revealing Luther in his butler costume. He was making a funny face and held his arms out in front of him like a zombie.

"Aahhh!" Alice cried out with laughter as Luther chased her around the room, eventually scooping her up into a hug.

"You ready to go trick or treating, little one?" he asked.

"Yeah! Kara and I have been planning this for weeks so let's go!" she pumped her fists into the air and hopped down from Luther's arm. Alice grabbed Jerry's hand and began dragging him through the front door. "Come on, come on, come on!"

The five of them made their way to their first stop- Markus' house. They read online that it was advised to always hit the richer neighborhoods first as they have the best loot. Of course, Kara had called ahead of time to let Markus know they were stopping by.

Alice and Jerry excitedly ran up to the front door and knocked. They both called out, "Trick or treat!"

Luther, Ralph, and Kara stood behind them, content with simply observing. The door opened and Markus stepped out in full classical Dracula regalia.

"Bluh bluh bluh!" he said through his pointed teeth. "Trick or treaters, eh?"

"Wow Markus! You went all out huh? You look like you stepped right out of a Brahm Stoker novel!" Kara praised, eyeing his costume.

"Says you, Missus Addams," he scoffed "your whole bunch is coordinated." Markus reached back inside the entryway to retrieve a handful of large candy bars. "Enjoy your night, you youngsters." he handed the candy to each of them and grinned.

"Have a good night, Markus." Luther waved as Jerry and Alice ran ahead, giggling happily. Ralph shook his head. Those two were like siblings and if it weren't for his appearance, you would never guess Jerry was an adult. Ralph jumped when he felt something slip into his hand. He looked down to see Kara's fingers entwined with his. If his heart could melt, it would.

They walked after the others, on to their next destination. The group hit a couple other houses between there and the Anderson household, but they finally arrived. This time, Kara knocked and they all waited for whoever was going to greet them.

Connor opened the door, a wide smile on his face. His costume was not as elaborate or elegant as Markus' but it was just as good. He wore a flannel shirt and what was hopefully a fake crossbow strapped to his back. His belt was lined with a few silvery bolts.

"Hello, Addams! If you cannot tell, I am a rendition of Van Halen!" Connor greeted.

"He's the monster hunter sent by Cyberlife." a gruff voice chimed in from deeper in the house.

Hank had two furry ears pinned into his hair and patches of fur poking from rips in his clothes. He too, like Markus, had false fangs in, though he seemed less adapted to them and seemed to grimace when he moved his mouth.

"We thought you were going to be dressed up, Hank." Kara teased. Hank bared his teeth halfheartedly before chuckling and kneeling down to Alice's level.

"Hey kiddo, having fun?" he ruffled her hair.

"Yep!" she nodded. "We saw a witch, and a vampire, and a bunch of zombies already."

"Well, that sounds pretty darn spooky." Hank nodded, standing up and reaching into the bowl Connor was holding. "Here, it's dangerous to go alone so take this." he dumped a handful of sweets into Alice's bag.

"Thanks, Hank!"

Jerry looked at Hank expectantly, holding out his own bag. The Lieutenant looked between Connor and Jerry, incredulously. Finally, he gave up and grabbed another handful.

"Ah boy." he rolled his eyes and dropped the candy into Jerry's bag. Jerry and Alice raced each other back to the car, cheering.

"Thank you so much for participating, Hank. This means a lot to us." Kara smiled.

"This has been fun for Alice. Seeing her friends has been nice- very nice. Many thanks, Connor, Lieutenant." Ralph nodded. They said their goodbyes and joined Alice and Jerry.

"Right, next up is scary movies." Kara pulled her list from her bag and checked off 'Trick or Treating'.

"As long as we dont watch Alien, I'm good." Luther shrugged.

hmmmmm i had a dream idk where it started, i have a vague memory of a girl having fun in the snow... i remember going up a metal tower with my classmates to go on some kind of ride? but it was like umm... well for one thing the tower was extremely high and also very rickety. as the tower got higher, the stairs to each next level got steeper until they were barely stairs, just sort of like a flat ramp surface. people kept getting mad at me for freaking out about it. i kept saying i didnt want to go on the uhh... it was some sort of flying thing but idk what it was. it was dangerous tho, i know that. people kept getting angry or saying that i'll change my mind before i get to it, that i'll definitely go on it when i get there. i really wish i could remember this part of the dream more... i keep having flashes of feelings and ideas that i think were in the dream but they all disappear before i can even write them down. there was an emo kid and a leader guy and a bigger girl who was probably the angriest at me. the class was probably like... 12 kids? anyway i remember getting to the top and trying to do the flying thing but it was honestly terrifying. i remember trying to push off like all the other kids had done but it wasnt working and i could have gotten seriously hurt. im surprised i didnt wake up at this part... i usually wake up when things get that intense. idk how any pf this transitioned which makes me really sad but uhhh all of a sudden i was in a big big big house. a mansion kind of but hmmm... it had a smaller feeling than most "mansions" that are in my dream. it felt like a place that one family could feasibly live. but instead, there was a huge party happening in it. me and all my friends were young girls. like uhhh maybe 11? and we were honest to god running around solving like. mysteries. nothing coherent because this was a dream but i remember thats just what we did. one involved shoveling dog poop around lmao i dont remember what it was for but we fuckin. did that. then in the mansion there was this like... it was kind of like a train car? it had doors on both small sides of the rectangle and it was inside this mansion. imagine a decent-sized walkway going over it and walls coming down from the walkway enclosing the car. it was sort of a centerpiece. but okay so no one was going into the train car thing before me and my friends did, so we explored it. we needed a place to discuss our next mystery (i'll say that im pretty sure i had an idea of what we were doing during the dream but it was so abstract theres no way i'd understand it now). other girls around the party knew about us and either didnt understand or were extremely angry that we were hogging up the train car, or that we were doing these weird things. inside the train car was like. a whole little living-room-type place. it was just a nice little lounge area and thinkin back im so sad i dont have it lmao. we would retreat into it every time we were done doing something outside in the mansion. and one of the last things i remember doing is going upstairs (above the train car) and talking to a girl who was arranging a kind of puzzle? she was sitting at a desk by the railing that looked out above the rest of the mansion. i wish i could draw a diagram lmao but she was left of the train car. i talked to her and she seemed to be a little confused about the stuff we were doing but ultimately kind of intrigued. i REALLY wish i had a better memory of this stuff here bcuz it was soooo much fun but basically a lot of other girls overheard and wanted in on it or wanted to ruin our fun or smthn so they tried to sneakily follow us. but i remember locking them out of the train car every time we went in lmao. it was honestly just so much fun!!! ghhdgsgf i cant remember much else!!

Wedding Regrets

Let me just say now, no. I do not regret marrying my husband. I love him more than anything and he is no where near a regret to me. 

Now onward. 

I got married back in June, just a couple of months ago okay. And even though things did go smoothly which I am so happy about, there’s several things that are coming to surface that I am having a bit of trouble with. I’m just going to make a list. 

1.  I originally wanted to get married sometime in September. Originally September 22nd. We ended up settling for June 13th because we found a venue we really liked and the original date was too expensive for us. It was $5000 for a weekend wedding. The lady helping us was explaining to us that if we did a wedding on a weekday, it would be $2900 which was still a little pricey but more affordable for us. We were paying for most of our wedding out of pocket so we didn’t have much to work with. We also didn’t want to wait another year or two to get married. We narrowed it down to what day we would like to have which would be a Thursday since it was as close to the weekend as possible without the weekend price. I also had months that were an absolute no for me. I didn’t want any months that had major holidays in it. So there goes January/April/July/October/November/December. I also didn’t want to get married in May because my parents were married that month and its already a full month of birthdays/anniversaries/etc., meaning barely anyone would come i’m sure. So really the only months that would be an option were February-March. June/August/September. We decided that the beginning of the year would probably be difficult hence being right after all the holidays. And it being too cold. So there goes February-March. Literally left with June, August and September. She named off dates and June 13th on Thursday was one of them. We ended up just saying “sure.” not really giving time to think about other days in August or September even. I really wanted a fall wedding. I’m not much of a summer person. I think we also decided on June because we went on our honeymoon to Colorado. Thinking it would be a good time to go with it being summer. Our honeymoon was still relaxing though. So that was fun. Anyways, I still always felt off about our wedding date and i almost changed it with our venue but I was worried we wouldn’t be able to, or that it would be extra to change so I never did it. Though it always upset me in the back of my mind that I wasn’t getting the date I originally wanted. A time of year that I felt happiest at. I just think I was overwhelmed with the wedding planning process to begin with, I just wanted to have a date set in stone so I just said yes to whatever. And I do feel stupid that I am so bothered by a date but it’s probably because its a time frame I originally didnt want and now the date is forever. I should focus on the fact that it’s a day I vowed my life to Traven and that’s what is important. I just feel like I missed out again on something I really wanted originally and I fell under pressure to myself. Though I just found out that our venue we got married at is closing permanently at the end of this month. So we did dodge a bullet not doing a wedding in September. 

2. I desperately wanted to have colored hair for my wedding and had it done differently. My hair style that day didn’t look as neat and clean as I was imagining it to be. It looks like an average low bun with nice bangs and shit ton of bobby pins. Also I had made a promise to my mother and great grandmother that I would have my natural hair for my wedding and now I’m regretting it. I look at my photos and I feel like they’re not me. I love having my colored hair and standing out in a positive way like that. I just felt it was boring. I felt like I was just another typical person and I don’t want to do that. I want to be unique or be someone that people are like “man, I wish I would have done that for my wedding!” or “look how gorgeous she is not being a traditional bride!” It’s not me. It’s not who I am for sure on that. I wanted to be an alternative bride. I originally wanted a blue dress or just a different color besides white. I got a white dress with tan underneath. Don’t get me wrong, I LOVED my dress. It was absolutely beautiful and I felt beautiful in it. Just wish it was maybe a grey, blue or black even! But overall I just wanted to a different style of bride but I went for traditional even though I am not traditional. This also comes into play with having no self identity security if that makes sense. I just don’t know who I am but if I could go back to the day of our wedding again, I would have dyed my hair the night before the wedding and been colorful. I’m regretting so hard because I feel like I am now getting uncomfortable with looking at my wedding photos. I can’t recognize who is in the photos. It doesn’t feel like me. 

3. I didn’t get as many photos as I wanted. Everything was rushed and I actually lost on chances for certain photos. I wish I had more time or was more stern with time frames and organizing. I wanted more one on one shots of Traven and I but I didn’t get many. I have several of the same angle and I like them but I just wish I had more angles and poses you know? I also wish I would have gotten more photos of just myself as a bride. Picture of my bouquet by itself because it was so pretty. The colors and how it was arranged was gorgeous. These little details I really wanted but it slipped my mind to get them because I was so focused on everything else that day. 

4. I’m really upset about how big i was planning my wedding. I originally invited 150 people and only had 120 RSVP up til the wedding. The day of the wedding comes and literally only 70-80 people were at the ceremony and 60-65 people at the actual reception. I had so many empty chairs and so many empty tables that it made me feel like a lot of people didn’t want to celebrate this day with us. It made me feel lonely for some reason. I didn’t get to see Traven a lot during the reception because he kept wondering off after our dance and such so he could talk to people. Which is fine. But I didn’t really have him with me so people could celebrate us together. Idk. Is that wrong to say?? I ended up letting the wedding end 4 1/2 hours earlier than our time booked because mostly everyone had left. Our wedding was only 4 hours long. I just don’t think that’s a lot of time for such a wonderful day like this. You hope to only get married once, I wanted to celebrate. I was devastated. I wanted it to last much longer with my friends and family. I wanted them there. I had low expectations though for my mothers side of the family. They all left within like an hour and half into the reception because they have better things to do i’m sure. At my mother’s wedding, there were there for maybe 30 minutes before they all left. Yet if it comes to any one else of them getting married or hosting an event, they’re there until the very end. Still hurts though you know? Makes me resent them more. I’m just really upset about how empty our wedding felt. Seeing pictures from the ceremony and seeing there maybe be 70 chairs empty, it looks pathetic and embarrassing. 

5. I also wish Traven would have picked a better time to propose to me. We had just broken up a couple of months before. He left me unexpectedly. Ended up having both of us be moved out of the house we were living in with roommates, moved back into our parents house, didn’t talk to each other and I had a mental breakdown resulting in being admitted into a mental health facility. It was an awful situation. He reached out to a few months later asking to talk and told he had life crisis and just was scared of a lot of things and plus was out of his mind after taking a dab. After talking for a long time, I forgave him and took him back. His family was not happy about it and were pissed at me even though I wasn’t the one who broke up with him. He was the one who did and left. My family was forgiving. Few days later, unexpectedly he proposed to me at a golf course that he last minute saw and decided it was an okay place. We don’t golf at all or have no reason to go to a golf course so it gave it away with what he was doing because it is not something we ever did. He proposed but instead of being excited, I felt fear. I knew his family would be furious. I didn’t know how my family would respond. I also didn’t know if this was a good idea because we just got back together after he fucking left me. So I was scared that this was some sick joke and that he would just up and leave again. I didn’t want to hurt his feelings so I did the face covering “omg i’m so happy” pose and said yes. Now, part of me did want to say yes, but not at all in these circumstances and ESPECIALLY at a damn golf course. Not to mention in the middle of him asking to marry me, a guy on a golf cart told us to leave because we couldn’t be on the property. I was humiliated. Also not to mention, I wasn’t showerd, had no bra on, my hair was a mess, I had been in a dark basement in bed crying all day and just I looked like absolute shit. It is not in any way how someone imagines being proposed to. Hey, at least he got the ring right. It was gorgeous. I love my ring. But just like I feared, his family went OFF. His mother kicked Traven out, isolated him from family. His dad screamed at him. His parents didn’t want to see me and basically said Traven was crazy. My idea of a proposal was that it would be planned out, I would look nice, I would have someone to take photos, my family and his family and all of our friends would be excited for us. Instead we got a shit show. We had to hide our engagement for months. I didn’t get to be happy about being engaged for the longest time. I lost friends, I had people saying “didn’t you guys just break up? This is stupid.” I also had other people saying I was making a huge mistake. it hurt so much to hear all of this. It still bothers the hell out of me and I want to get past it but how? Now so many of my friends are getting engaged and married. My best friend just got engaged right after my wedding and I’m so happy for her. But i’m also so envious. I wish I would have gotten that excitement from my engagement. I wish I would have pictures. Instead I have a posed photo of him “proposing” to me at our engagement photo session because I wanted to feel like i had something. I just feel so awful for complaining so much. I just so badly wish things went differently. So many things in my life always ended up being a shit show or I missed out on something. It makes me fear about having a child. What if I miscarry, have a stillborn, they die on me, or they have a disorder that ruins their quality of life and I have to watch my child suffer? I’m so scared. 

I do want to point out some positives though. 

1. I got to marry my best friend and if it counts, our day overall went smoothly. I didn’t have any issues with family/friends or the day itself besides people leaving early, not showing up and missing out on photos. 

2. Our flowers/cake and decorations/ the venue looked wonderful. I was so happy. 

3. Our honeymoon was fun. It was nice to be back in Colorado and even go to a spa. it was so relaxing. 

4. I do like my photos that I have besides the fact that I don’t like looking at myself. I have some photos that I will definitely cherish. 

5. Majority of the people that were there at the wedding were people that were most important to me. My great grandmother couldn’t make it but I know she wanted to be there. It broke my heart to hear her cry about not being able to be there. But that she loved me and she couldn’t want to see photos and hear all about it. 

6. I loved my dress. And I was so happy wearing my converse bright orange shoes under my dress. I showed them off. I felt like i stood out a little bit. 

7. My brother walked me down the isle and I knew he was proud. I was too. 

8. All my bridesmaids and groomsmen looked wonderful. I was so relieved to know everyone matched and it came out good. ( I was worried for a while since everyone went at different times to get their items) 

9. I got to dance with my brother, my dad, my mom and step dad. I cried a lot that day. Which is normal obviously. 

10. I had the colors I wanted and it came together. 

11. Traven’s family, especially parents have been supportive with us and really accepted me back in their family again. It’s such a nice feeling. 

12. I get to go on this new adventure with Traven and I think I did make the right decision with him. He’s been so patient with me and does his best to help support me when i’m in over my head with anxiety.

My grandfather, who is 72 years old, needs round-the-clock care that has now exceeded our capabilities. He suffers from pre-existing bad to severe dementia. He's suspicious, falls frequently, very forgetful, suffers from sundowning. He just doesn't know what to do and he even struggles with basic life functions. He also suffers from lymphatic cancer that metastasized to his lung and chest cavity, as well as squamous cell carcinoma that is very resistant to all his previous treatment and has spread to open wounds on his arm. Because all of his lymph nodes were removed, his lymphatic fluid constantly pools in that arm and swells to hugely abnormal size. Therefore he has to wear a sleeve to keep it in place, which is painful for him to put on and is time-consuming for his caregiver. He also is supposed to keep his arm elevated, but refuses because of his dementia. He is mean and hateful at times and insists that we are trying to kill him and is always demanding that his caregiver (my aging and stressed grandmother) remain at his side at all times, or he grows suspicious about her fidelity. He has hallucinations. We moved in with them to help her take care of him, but my school work (homeschooled, mainly to take care of them) and my mother's commute to work have also taken a toll on us. We hated to think about it, but we finally resolved that he belongs as a permanent resident in a home. The biggest problem is the astronomical cost which we can't just chip together , as it was never there in the first place. We did research on nursing home coverage and found out about long term care coverage. We found out some basic things like it is best to purchase at a young age. Unfortunately, my grandmother was never educated on insurance and doesn't possess significant life insurance nor anything like long-term care, and he doesn't qualify for the little help Medicaid offers. Although he suffers from cancer, he has reached the end of his treatment. His cancer was too resistant to all prospective radiation and chemotherapy, and the anti-body treatment that he tried, he had a massive allergic reaction to. He has awful pain all the time and is on a rotated regimen of extra strength ibeproufen and high dosage morphine, with a high grade fentanyl pain patch. So, although cancer plays a part in his insurance qualification in name, apart from being administered his medication and sleeve, his cancer is not the main concern as far as his care/treatment goes. We have had to accept that he is going to die sooner or later and are trying to find the best final preparations. the police are very confused, needless to say. they go to Bronwyn and Jun. ‘so, uh, the fucks up with Rhia?’ ‘well, Jun found her knocked out in the Team base and took her with him to ensure she was safe-’ ‘wait he took her?’ ‘well, yes, i didnt know if someone would come back for her and was worried she’d end up badly injured as a result of that wait time, or that she might wake up alone and get lost in the desert’ ‘.... right.... go on’ ‘so we took her home and looked after her and she explained her situation, being an orphan and basically relying on that Elliot fellow-’ ‘the ex elite 4 member?’ ‘yea, that guy. and shes talking about how he left her for dead in the base-’ ‘what?’ ‘youd have to ask Rhia and Elliot. but we heard her story and, well, we’d grown close to her over her time with us, so we thought, maybe we could adopt?’ ‘so then why didnt you?’ ‘welllllllll we were worried Elliot would come looking for her if we properly adopted her, PLUS it had been like, two weeks since she went missing, so if we suddenly appeared with her itd look really bad-’ ‘it already looks pretty bad from here’ ‘we know, sir. so we decided instead of adopting her as Seren, we’d.... yknow..... pull in a favour. work something out so she could stay with us as someone else’ ‘and you used the Team?’ ‘no shit. i mean, i WAS an admin. i basically talked to Dante - that guy you arrested, the big one, not the kid - and we... made arrangements’

THEN we made up Rhia Stanton’ ‘...........’ ‘what?’ ‘why didnt you go to the authorities?’ ‘given that, at the time, the authorities were the Organisation and i thought they were firmly in Elliots camp, given the whole raid collab thing, i wasnt trusting those fuckers-’ ‘miss’ ‘as far as i could throw them. then, yknow, turned out they were Team, but i didnt know that, and Jun didnt exactly ~tell~ me that at the time. no need, i suppose. was still no guarantee they’d have taken my side. given how EASILY they let go of my case, i fucking doubt it. fiiiirmly in elliots pocket to curry public favour. wasnt having it’

the police come together ‘what the fuck do we do about this?’ ‘well, the family ARE willingly giving up this information AND ‘Rhia’ and Jun are acting as informants on the Team....... we could let this go’ ‘but its like, supppppper illegal’ ‘but they were all in on it. they wanted her to be in their family but didnt want to involve Elliot. remember, he was basically her guardian at the time’ ‘i GUESS? still illegal’ ‘but they ARE informing on proper criminals doing malicious crime, rather than something that at least had good intentions. not like she committed tax fraud. the only people who have touched Seren’s accounts are her family from Johto taking all of her inheritance. doubt ‘Rhia’ has seen a penny of that, somehow’ ‘...... sure, fine, say we let her off. what do we do about the fact she exists twice?’ ‘...... shit’

in the end they end up partially merging the Seren and Rhia files and removing any blatant lies, like her Unovan ancestry. with some tweaking, they legally adopt her to the Stanton family (Patrick and Eira), thus allowing her to keep her illegally gained Unovan citizenship (based on the fact Patrick and Eira were wholly open to the idea of legally adopting her if it would help, and simply didnt because the Org expedited the process through illegal means). they probably remove her Johto citizenship through her ‘mother’ (Patricks first wife), since as Seren, she hadnt gotten that citizenship through descent anyway (given her parents were both Johto natives who renounced and became [Victorians lads]). they basically just wipe it clean. they give her the OPTION of informing her blood family of what happened. she says fucking go for it. publicise it. publicly wrap the case on my disappearance. im not going to seek them out. in the end, her blood family MIGHT seek contact. the only real connection she would have is being able to claim her inheritance from her dead parents BACK from her blood family (who, as you’ll recall, took that inheritance from Seren’s account after she was presumed dead). whether Rhia would actually go for it? no idea. probably couldnt be assed. given shes basically disowned that section of her life, it doesnt really bother her much.

tl;dr the police are really confused by this seemingly good intentioned act of some sort of identity fraud and in the end dont pursue charges and just sorta....... let it go.......... i mean yea she WAS a criminal but it was blackmail/extortion in terms of being in the Team, she was consistently anti-Team, and shes informing on them and helping personally fuck them over, so, like..... if she didnt harm anyone, who cares, lol.
