• Remember Kahil? You know the vampire who once was user of the datusha/kriss and bc of it's power he kill most of the Vaeternus, moments later he commits suicide trapping the sword with him?

Well lets put more emotional damage and say this was a relative to Nitara, maybe a brother why not

(i rewatched the Nitara intros and her mother also died damn, that's rough buddy)

they had a really strong bond, so Nitara was broken and devastated by his brother's tragic end, and after a long time of grief, this "revelation" as she would say, came to mind. From this time she tries so hard to save her so no Vaeternus could face the fate of death

And you know, "trying" is a strong word, the coven at this point are kinda tired of her all the time visiting them and bringing her failed ideas

The coven are like: "yeah yeah you know why don't you go and try to take over outworld or something" as a joke just to get rid of her.

And she did go to Outworld so..

• Now, her voice... It's not the best, it's so monotone and she doesnt realize it

But now i can't stop thinking about her with a valley girl accent, the way she would say the word "like" repetitively in one sentence is insane

There were times when Havik just rip of his own ears to not hear her, she talks a lot

She likes to do monologues, i feel like it's normal for Vaeternus to have this... Theatrical way of speaking, that goes on and on

Nitara does not know how to lie, if you dig enough she would accidentally say the truth or let out her plans without knowing

• At first the interactions Nitara has with Rain were harsh but later he starts to understand the big problem that the Vaeternus were living in, so maybe these two will be allies in the future??? Please??

Tho at this point she is trying to persue ppl to help her cause, whether it's from the good guys or the bad guys, and not even god itself wants to make a solution to help the Vaeternus yeah she's fucked

With the fictional dead family i create around her it makes a little bit of sense when she's trying to make Smoke a vampire too, Nitara sees herself since the guy also lost his mom and sister

or instead he sees her brother in Smoke, which is kinda creepy and dark but thats how my girl copes <33 /j

• The Vaeternus have a way to go to Earthrealm from centuries ago, this could mean that the vampires have more noledge of human traditions, slangs and even technology than Outworld does

This can also includes Earthrealm pop culture, influencing the way they dress or act, there could be Vaeternus who moved to Earthrealm permanently, hiding in the shadows

Imagine miss girl tries to make chitchat with Havik, Darrius and Sareena making a Earthrealm references and everyone just look at her like "wtf r u talkin about?"

This is chronically online comunicating with normal people

Nitara finds Earthrealm movies about vampires fascinating by the way of how they portrayed her kind, bc sometimes those movies are so wrong and sometimes they are so accurate its scary

She finds the "familiar" character to be very useful, she will have it in mind and maybe find one of those to help her look for food and other plans

• There was a time when the vaeternus didnt need blood to maintain their survival (idk if it was on Liu Kang or Geras intros) and there was were other things they could have feed on, but little by little vampirism began to be part of their nature that it was impossible to change their ways, condemning their own species.

Trying to get back to a normal diet probably would take another millenia

And if they eat or drink something no blood related i imagine them vomiting A LOT and with a horrible stomach pain, not the best moment for a vampire

Once Nitara tried to sleep upside down bc she saw it in one of those movies, and she find it so comfortable??? It's kinda embarrasing for her but she keeps sleeping on that position from now on

i'm sure others have already commented on the way the flashback was handled in the leaked ep but GOD it's been taking up so much space in my mind. it really shows just how important it is to plan ahead to have reveals like that feel satisfying.

like blitzo killed HIS OWN FUCKING MOM accidentally, and we're supposed to get this from what, a 5 second clip? seriously????

if this show was actually planned out and well-written i feel like it'd have more foreshadowing and hints at what happened. just things to get you wondering. like idk. in the first ep iirc blitzo is tied up and the humans try to burn him and he doesnt react to the fire in a weird way at all??? HE KILLED HIS OWN MOTHER BY ACCIDENTALLY CAUSING A HUGE FIRE!!! idc how much blitzo bottles things up. some sort of reaction wouldve made so much more sense - like, if moxxie or millie or whoever was tied up with him i cant be bothered to go check - said that human fire doesnt hurt them instead of blitzo, and then he acts kind of off, it could be like a "oh i wonder why he's acting like that even though it doesnt hurt him" and then its the reveal and its like "ohhh omg thats why." something of that nature. just SOMETHING to buildup to the reveal. and god i wish it was longer.

i wish there was more time to see both fizzarolli's and blitzo's perspectives on the accident. i mean it starts with fizz waking up, there could be like, a dream sequence that portrays blitzo all evil, showing that it still haunts fizz and makes you wonder what really happened- but then the jump from that to him waking up would be complete tonal whiplash so i dont think that would really work with the episode as is- honestly the whole thing just needs to be rewritten. this whole show is a mess actually. it's taking up so much of my brain. i'm sorry.

god and the whole thing is so STUPID too. fucking, there are people... at your birthday party....? wtf... *accidentally bumps into the imp carrying the cake* oh the cake has fallen and i have accidentally killed my mother and caused irreversible damage to my friend !

despite all that i'm still excited for the episode tomorrow, helluva has great animation and fizzarolli is the only character i care about so i'm really looking forward to see him fully animated just on screen. the song had its bad parts (fucking secret to bitcoin part) but i love how over-dramatic fizz is, he loves performing so much it's cute

it was bad, it was just so incredibly bad, and the only redeeming thing about it was that it's Fizzarolli. I'm looking forward to see him and Ozzie in full animation (lack of composition aside) and that's about it.

What if they didnt fight cary and convinced him to return for saw 3... Then, would the scenario "jigsaw kidnaps larrys family" become real? Then, then, would it be more awesome than his coming back in saw 3d? I guess the answers yes. I'll forever hate Larry's treachery.

okay so, sorry to be That Guy. but lawrence as an apprentice makes the most sense for his character and the saw universe and im going to use this random ask to voice my opinion so thank you for using my ask box as a saw google lol

i DO with we got to see that version because it would mean more lawrence screentime and i genuinely do not dislike any saw content. idc how shitty saw x is, it could undo everything and shit all over it but i would NOT care. any content means an avenue to explore saw further

thats one of the main reasons the apprentice reveal was so good, in my opinion. before i get to why its great for lawrence, i want to point out why it works SO well for the other aspects. amanda is johns pseudo-daughter, he LOVED her like a father. we see it at the end of saw iii. no matter what he says, john does not forgive people. he punishes jill for losing their child but at the end of iii, we see him genuinely look at amanda with love and forgiveness. and yet? he never trusted her enough to tell her about lawrence. this random fucking guy who didnt even WIN, is the golden child. trusted with his wife!

as for mark, he is the definition of jigsaws philosophy. he may have jostled his victims around but he had the strongest will to live out of anyone and never relished in hurting them (crying after kidnapping paul + killing seth). another reason i like 3D is that he cant even look at jills corpse. his "game over" wasnt victorious. not like johns always is. YET he is not trusted. hes been there since before amanda, followed his rules, lived his philosophy and he was shafted again. i think the reveal does a lot of good for the apprentice-john dynamic for everyone involved.

secondly, JOHNS TESTS DONT WORK. CANONICALLY. they do not!! amanda says it herself. jigsaw traps make people worse, and not just bc thats a logical response to trauma. working for john amplifies everyones worst traits. amanda became a killer, mark grew to find some sort of enjoyment in killing (at the very least, it made him dependent on it for power and a sense of identity after the loss of his sister)

lawrences test was designed to show him what john said he was missing: empathy. he has none! he lies and doesnt care, he cant understand other peoples points of view, and he prioritizes his own whims and wants over everyone. CONSISTENTLY. so what happens when his tests presents him with the very definition of his heart and moral core, then asks him to kill him? he gets fucking worse!

lawrence is a narcissist. as in the personality disorder. he has low empathy (this is canonically the reason for his test!! not just "he cheated" or "he ignored john", he does these things for that reason) and god. just look at the symptoms, its like they made every scene an example of them on purpose. the idea that his game would be a wake up call and cause him to reflect and adjust his behaviors is just insane to me! within the canon logic of the story, and when taking into account his clear personality disorder... its the most logical choice (source: i have it and also i have eyes. SIDE SIDE note, my real source is that hes a clear parallel to john and john was evaluated for NPD in his psychiatric files in the saw game. so theres that) i think this has a lot to do with people not understanding low empathy. they cant understand why he would betray adam and join jigsaw

trauma wont change that overnight. getting fixed by john for 2 years without seeing the sun certainly wont help either

lawrence as an apprentice is the most logical progression of his character. he does what he wants and what he has to, at the expense of others. hes isolated from his wife and child. he cant understand other peoples prespective. he has an issue with guilt or feeling empathy for people, including those suffering like john. this wont change bc he experienced his first shred of empathy after MURDERING someone he got to know for 6 hours. low empathy =/= no empathy. thats like saying dude bros who do shrooms and experience empathy for the first time in their life are changed people. they arent lol

also the contrast between his game over vs marks 5 minutes earlier is SO important for their characters. theres so much good shit in that movie. take out the corny lines and jill mistreatment, and u have a lot to work with! so yes i do think that itd be more awesome. i love saw 3D and what it did for his character. im not sure how saw iii hostage lawrence wouldve expanded on his character, but id rather go with saw 3D bc im confident they didnt butcher his character. im glad that a beloved protagonist is a complete narc, and hes still beloved! im never giving that up

important for plot, scotts house got a drive by. and his mom was shot, and mason, and scotts dad, and lydia. so liam's upset because even though scott and liam and malia are werewolves and can heal from gunshot wounds THERE WERE HUMANS IN THE HOUSE. AND THEY DIDNT CARE. and also liam is just like. mad. thats his pack, his family his best friend. next time we see liam, hes pushing gabe on the floor in the locker room at school and gabe is like "i dont know anything i swear😰 i dont know what happened at scotts house" liam know he lying, so he picks him up by the collar and hes like "did you know who was there? DID YOU KNOW MASON WAS IN THERE?" "no no i didnt know anything . i Dont know anything." liam turns him around and smushes his face on the mirror over the sink. "maybe you havent noticed lately, but ive been having trouble controlling my anger, when things happen to my friends i just cant seem to help it." and gabe is like "no liam wait please" and hes like "I just get so ANGRY" and the mirror starts to crack by how hard he's holding gabe's face against the mirror. ans gabe is like "stop liam wait please" and blood is starting to drip on the sink and hes gripping the edge of it. and liam just presses harder and hes like "you think imma going to kill you?" AND WE CAN SEE THEO SHOW UP IN THE MIRROR BEHIND LIAM. its all cracked and weird but its theo and his annoying ass crossed arm stance. liam doesnt notice him yet "You think we're all killers? maybe we should be." and theo pipes up with: "you really gonna kill him?" and we can see liam turn around, surprised, and all of the blood thats dripping off gabe on the mirror and how much pressure liams applied because its all spiderweb cracks. and theo goes "i mean... idc if you do.🤷 but have you thought this through?" and liam turns back to gabe. "any idea where you're gonna dump the body?" ans it cuts to gabes HORRIFIED FACE NOT REALIZING THEO IS ACTUALLY INADVERTENTLY TRYING TO GET LIAM NOT TO KILL GABE. "but no one saw you grab him .. did they? cause that could be a problem." and liam pushes gabes head further and says "i dont care." and theo shrugs and says "i dont care either. but at least let me help. im the one with experience here. if we kill him, we'll have to find the witnesses and kill them too. which meannss we're gonna need shovels, some plastic bags, maybe a chainsaw..." GABES HORRIFIED FACE AGAIN😭😭 ans liam gives gabe one last push before he lets go and gabe falls back on the ground. liam looks up at the cracked and bloody mirror with his fangs out. and you can tell he already feels terrible. for even considering it. for even considering being the monster he looks. and immediately the anger melts away ans he softly says, "you made your point." two things of note. THEO DOESNT FUCKING GO TO SCHOOL WHY IS HE THERE. DID HE JUST GET A LIAM SENSE. LIKE OOPS MY ENEMY TURNED KINDA FRIEND IS ABOUT TO MAKE A BAD DECISION AND HIS ANGER IS OFF THR CHARTS LEMME HELP??? also love how he was like. lemme help with the murder, ive got experience😎. other thing if note, when liam first became a werewolf, scott told him that being a werewolf doesnt mean he has to be a monster, it doesnt mean he has to do bad things he can still choose to do good, just like when he was a full human. just thought i'd tell you. scott would be so disappointed if he lost his anger like that and killed someone. and he just cant stand that. he was so afraid of his parents finding out about his werewolfism because he was scared they were gonna look at him how they did when he wrecked and keyed his coaches car and got diagnosed with IED. he was so scared of that look in their eyes. of being looked at like that.

BLACK DRAGONS CHRISTMAS MURDER ARC

i think ive talked abt this b4 but it just has so much stuff i like in it. its my favorite in terms of storytelling i'm not deep i like easily recognizable gimmicks for babies idc. theres a bunch of reasons i like it so:

the kisaki-hanma-chifuyu-takemichi teamup i love their begrudging cooperation and their hostility...i miss them every day... when will C4U/KillemAll/The Hanmas come back from the war... i see them in every group of 4... the wiggles, teletubbies, tmnt... it was a team born to die but what a beautiful birth...

i think the tenuous dynamics between the gangs at the time was fun the suspense was good. baji just died, kisaki and hanma still in toman, black dragons about to go warring with everyone, no one likes each other it was a great spawning ground for drama

yuzuha was one of my favorite main characters of the arc... no one else understands this... her sigma philosphy of killing taiju. i talked about this more in an older ask but in summary: i like the “inescapable violence” theme in the christmas arc. yuzuha kills taiju to protect hakkai, hakkai takes the blame to protect yuzuha and becomes BD leader to end up just as corrupt as taiju, cycle of doom. neither yuzuha and hakkai had any bad intention they had the same ‘desire to protect, to do good’ that got pushed to the point of doing bad things. even taiju seems to have his version of good will but theres just something up with that guy dawg.

i really wish they’d say smth abt yuzuha in the future of the manga bcz what is she even doing while her little brothers in the middle of the chaos but also the plot has expanded so much by now that unfortunately she probably won’t make another major appearance -_-

on the other side, taiju was my favorite antagonist, i never draw him but he has one of my favorite designs in the series even though every panel of his jumpscares you. takemichi saw him once and immediately started getting night terrors

going off on a tangent though, i'm... iffy about the 'redemption'. i like taiju but this is on the level of him being an imaginary dude with a big role in a story. the point of the story is that you dont like him, hes still a huge douchewagon... i don’t think the main cast (including hakkai) would still be cool with him even though its been 2 years it’s not something that just ‘gets better with time’. taiju didn’t even really say he was gonna be a better person (im pretty sure he said smth the opposite lmfao but i don;t remember well). in the timeskip, it could be interpreted that he did make an effort to improve given how seriously he took grieving hakkais death, but thats 10+ years after the affair, and even then it’s only an implication! that sketch of taiju with mana and luna never sat right with me why does mitsuya trust him sm all of a sudden...in my opinion they really didnt need him to return?? there are better candidates to nearly castrate sanzu for threatening takemichi, fight the living legends, etc. (what happened to the rest of toman, or just ask anyone here they’ll nominate their little boyfriend ran haitani or smth) i could talk about this a lot but TLDR i think it’d be fine if he just went away lol you dont need to have them make up it doesnt make sense

honorable mention! tenjiku arc was fun i liked getting to see the stories of the side cast (esp kawata brothers, mucho, emma)

wolfwood is not likable at all in stampede. in the manga, his role fits, here he feels like a stalker, esp when he doesnt even have that anime tsundere vibe, instead following him and calling him stupid. his kind of domineering, asshole attitude compared to vash's passive attitude in return makes vash feel kind of depressing. i wouldnt want them together

ww's attitude also focuses on vash's "failure", something that shouldve been reserved to vash. ww can be projecting concerning the cult (and presumably the orphans being kidnapped) but it shouldnt be both

stampede again hasnt even brought up why vash doesnt want to kill, when ww couldve been a perfect opportunity for him to question it, but stampede seems to be skipping past things

i kinda answered this just now but its a lot so here we go

first. i need to say that i hated the sirebond storyline in tvd, but thats bc i fucking hate d@mon and delen@ and like brett said it is a controversial and kinda tricky storyline to get around and i think that in a ship in which the man had done so much against the girl (like killing her brother in front of her bc she didnt say she loved him back), that was bound to be a shitty storyline lmfao

but second. its gonna be different for legacies for many reasons, a few of which - consent with the vampire powers is definitely something legacies drives home constantly (mg saying that he doesnt like to compel people to mess w their agency, lizzie and sebastian's fallout in s02, lizzie bringing it up in the very next scene in the last episode and hope understanding her point, etc), so i definitely trust the legacies writers to lead this storyline (i know, controversial opinion in this fandom but idc yall know how i feel about the show so suck a dick and die mad about it).

i also think that lizzie and hope's dynamic thrives in conflicts like these, their dynamic is very different from a LOT of the tvdu dynamics and i think that this is a really good depth added to them and it makes sense. sure im biased bc this is my otp and etc but i think that the fact that lizzie and hope have gone through SO MUCH together and it kinda was all leading up to this moment. i'm very excited to see how all of this plays out, genuinely, bc hope and lizzie do challenge each other a lot and lizzie is seemingly still aware of what is her own idea and what is hope's (unlike in tvd, when damon would simply tell elena something and she would do it), so thats a difference there too. remember, lizzie was possessed by the oni in 2x04 and she was still able to break her mind apart from the possession at times bc her mind works Differently. so this is something im definitely considering as well when it comes to it... like lizzie said, she's an expert at mind prisons so i dont think this is gonna be different, but we have to see

and then third its just the fact that as a hizzie stan its kinda iconic that we have that confirmation that lizzie's feelings towards hope go beyond what people think. so i'm honestly v excited about this storyline in every way, i want to see where it goes and what happens and the conflicts that this will bring to hizzie (bc as i said before they kinda thrive on conflicts and then resolving those conflicts - 1x14, 3x09 anyone???????)

why are you so insistent everything be about c!clingy duo?

because the disc war finale was quite literally about cclingyduo ? now that ive had some time to think abt it i dont particularly care abt it being staged. like it doesnt make the most sense but its whatever to me. but to say the disc war finale wasnt about cclingyduo is just inaccurate LOL like clearly the most important decisions made there were ctommy giving up the discs to save ctubbo and ctommy not taking cdream's last canon life. and the conversation between cclingyduo when they thought cdream would kill ctubbo is one of the most emotionally impactful things to ever happen on the server especially after exile. season 2 was about them -- and obviously other ppl were involved bc that's how stories work, cdream was their major antagonist, but i dont understand how you can watch season 2 and think it's about anything but them. antagonists can be important and interesting but the storyline of s2 was framed around cclingyduo.

cool so I've decided I'm gonna, but because I cannot write for SHIT and I hate my writing every time I see it, ill just share my outline of what I have so far. its not coherent. sorry. 

Section one: aunt may dies. It’ll be like “it's been 3 months. 3 months since May was shot. 2 months and 3 weeks since she died.”

Something like that idc. Basically this section will base around peter living tony, because he’s not doing well, and he is only 17- which is not actually old enough to be on your own after something like this. Setting is established, with cameos from dr strange (who tony is dating and lives with (yeah bite me, this is my fanfiction i can make it what i want.) it will be made obvious that this takes place after endgame, which also means that tony is Not going to die. I’m not that mean lmao. The avengers are like largely together, there was not as much death in this as there was in endgame. Whatever. Everyone is very nice to peter because they know that for him its either this or him becoming a ward of the state so like.

Section two: harley gets kicked out. His mom finds out that he’s gay (from gossip sources idk) and kicks harley out. Im not going to write them having a big fight like in the moment, but harley will recount what happened somewhat to tony in this section, and then more to peter later in the story. Gay ppl trauma dump, we know this. Okay anywaysss so harley calls tony literally sobbing and like freezing fucking cold. IM SORRY IM BEING SO MEAN TO THEM I PROMISE THEY'LL GET A HAPPY ENDING. Okay. harley explains how his mom kicked him out. Tony asks why, harley says something like “she didn’t agree with my lifestyle choices” like bitterly. Tony is a good person in this (i know, im really taking some character liberties) and he’s in the mood for collecting strays apparently, so he has happy send over the quinjet. He can’t make it himself bc hes in fucking japan or something for the next few weeks,, but. Yeah! Tony also calls peter, who is presumably in bed and feeling depressed. “Hey pete. How ya feeling? Any better?’ ‘Not really, tony. Sorry.’ ‘you don’t have to be sorry-’ ‘damn tony you sound like my therapist.’ “sorry pete, but i do have something to tell you- you know harley?’ ‘only from what you’ve told me about him, but yea. He was the tennessee garage kid, right?’ ‘i mean. Yes. so- he’s gonna come stay with me for a while too- it might not be permanent but it will probably be a bit. He’s about your age, and he just has no where to go (just like u). He’s not going to stay in your room or anything, but with bruce and thor here, he will be in your apartment area.’ ‘okay tony.. Will i have to talk to him a bunch?’ ‘not if you don’t want to- i already warned him about you, so it should be okay. I wouldn’t worry so much pete- you guys are so similar in a lot of ways that i wanted to introduce you two long before he called me.’ ‘okay tony, i trust you. Thank you again for letting me stay with you :)’ (yeah that kind of got away from me)

Section 3: build up. this is a shorter section. Harley and peter are gonna meet in section 4. This section is harley’s jet ride (with an intuitive happy) and harley’s nerves about how he really isn’t worth this (i mean hes pretty intimidated tony sent a private jet just for him) and happy like reassures him. Hes still insecure though. Peter is also nervous bc what if harley doesn’t like him? What if he doesn’t like harley?? Tony did say they would get along, but peter hasn’t really been himself recently, so who knows? Yeah lots of that. I do want to emphasize though- peter is not completely unhealthily coping. Like he has a therapist and he has been reaching out to ned and mj, but its still an open wound for him. Obviously. He still has a sense of humor though, but its to cover these deep insecurities. Like the first month or so that he was with tony, he was reallllyyyy trying to not get close to him bc he sort of thinks he kills everyone around him. Like logically he knows this isn’t true, but he does really think the that non superheroes that he surrounds himself with are very at risk if they know about his spider-man-ness. The only people who know now are ned and mj (may knew too).

Section 4: the meeting of harley and peter. Keep in mind peter has been living in this apartment/area of stark tower for about 3 months now. He actually moved in while may was in the hospital because he couldn’t stand to be alone in the apartment when he knew why may wasn’t there. And um. Yeah. so peter is like comfortable in this space, basically. Also- the reason theyre in the same apartment is because stark tower was not really created with the idea of housing broken orphans in mind, so it only has a certain amount of residential space. Thor and bruce are currently staying there together (although no one really knows if theyre together, or if theyre just best bros who went through some extreme trauma together and are now inseparable. Hmmm wonder if thats gonna come up later) and theyre using one apartment, and happy lives there with his own apartment, and tony and stephen are currently sharing the penthouse, even though thats not public knowledge. Really only the people close to tony know that he’s dating stephen. So. this leaves just the one other 2 bedroom apartment for peter and harley. It has one bathroom, and the bedrooms are connected by a door but theyre pretty big so like. Theres a kitchen, a living room with a fancy ass tv, and a really pretty view (with a balcony bc <333). May died in march, peter got leave from the school in april, and it is now the middle of june btw. Tony is now peter’s official guardian (he was before may died anyways) and now has sole guardianship over him which he has fully accepted, even though peter and him both know that there are going to be times where he has to go out of town bc he does own a company after all. Times like right now. Harley is pretty nervous that tony isn’t going to be there to greet him and that he is going to have to like introduce himself to peter and everything. Cmon, theres no reason to feel like that, he’s the one intruding after all, he should at least be able to handle himself. (<--- harley’s thoughts). Yeah so theyre insecure super cool. A n y w a y s so peter was stressing about harley as he arrived, and so when harley walked in they were both complete bundles of nerves. Harley walks up but knocks. Peter actually jumps (bc spidey sense okay whatever) and goes to get the door. Oh my god these awkward teenagers i hate them so much (i love them). Peter kinda looks like shit, sorry king. He was a little bit crying earlier, then tony called and he switched into stressed out ball-of-anxiety mode. Distractions are good, its okay. Peter opens the door for harley and they like introduce each other all awkward (again sorry) and peter shows harley where he is staying. Harley doesnt really have muchhhh bc he was kicked out and all. He just has a suitcase full of clothes, his favorite blanket, his favorite stuffed animal (yeah whatever bc ofc he does) and his phone/charger. He sets all his stuff down at once. He thanks peter for letting him stay in his apartment and also said sorry. First thing peter noticed was harley’s accent. Stfu. peter asks why harley’s here- ok. Harleys had a long ass day. Too fucking long. He- he breaks down. He tells peter a lot. About how his mom found out that he was gay, and how she told him never to come back. Yikes. Anyways, this is establishing the beginning of their relationship as friends. Peter is there for him even though he doesn’t know him at all. Peter sees some of himself in harley in this moment, even though he’s not talking about himself yet. Eventually harley does ask about peter, and they really just get to know each other really quick. They have these deep scarring individual traumas, and neither has nearly recovered, but they find comfort in just knowing that theyre not alone in their suffering. At least for now. At least in this moment.

Section 5: the next day. Peter and harley spent that whole night talking about what they were going through. Peter said good night at around 5 am (there were no adults around they can do what they want to) and they both got good sleeps. In peter’s case, one of the first solid nights he’s had in a while. Harley was kept up a little longer after peter left, however, because he just couldn’t shut off his mind. It was really cathartic for him to just lay everything out there and for someone to just accept him. Peter told him he was bi, but he was.. Lucky. He had accepting people in his life. May was accepting. God, harley couldn’t fathom having lost everyone in his life, everyone he ever cared about, and still having the heart to sit and talk with the dumbass anxious gay kid who can’t go home anymore. His problems felt so small compared to peter’s, and all he could do was admire peter’s resilience and how he was seemingly able to bounce back from anything. God, peter was something. He couldn’t wait to get to know him more. With that thought circling in his head, he finally went to sleep at oh shit 6:30 am. Peter woke up around 1. Harley at 2. When harley woke up, peter was watching tv and eating cereal on the couch and he just sat down next to him. No words, just sleepy children being sleepy. They stayed like this for like an hour when someone knocked on their door. Enter stephen strange!!!!!!!!!!! Get excited people. Hes just coming in to check on them bc tony told him to, and he didn’t get the chance last night bc he was _busy_. K so now he’s here and hes awkward and he just wants to make sure these boys r okay bc theyve both been through too much recently, and it would be just the cherry on top if they didn’t get along. Him and harley had never actually met before so he like introduced himself and all that. Offered like if they needed anything he was there, and its only gonna be a few days until tony gets back (did i say a week earlier? Im retconning that bc i cannot find it in my writing so it is now retconned). Peter and harley just have to sort of explain to dr strange that theyre getting along gREAT and there is no need for concern….. And peter was even thinking about showing harley around the city a bit that night (something he had not yet told harley, but wanted to make it seem like he was doing well and not acting too depressed in front of Dr. Strange) so dr strange is like yeah !!!!!! do that, that sounds super fun petey !!!!!! and so now they have evening plans

and to some point i think this has to do with rapha's moral standing. i had always thought that hes one of the most complex characters in shadowhunters because we got this guy who at the same time is obsessed with attoning for his Sins™ and self harms on the regular and blames himself for everything but whos also like. willing to kill and even turn on the ppl he loves to do that (like when he basically held magnus down and tried to kill clary during the soul sword thing)

and like once again! rapha was right lmao like im sorry but he was, her existence was a threat to millions of ppl and she was being so reckless like she didnt CARE and choosing to save her over millions is just. some MC bullcrap. but youd expect that someone with so many guilt issues and a sense of loyalty as strong as rapha would at least have a hard time taking that decision

and like i know it's the racism and the need to villainize him because hes a vampire! but in the good shadowhunters that exists in my head, it's because living with camille for so long he was forced to do a lot of shit that he would rather die than have to do, shit that compromised his moral standards to their very core, and in doing that he was still helping keep the world safe because he was no good if he didn't earn camille's trust so he could get rid of her and save the vampires. and also a part of him already feels so tainted by all the things he had to turn a blind eye to, i think its kinda like. might as well add another sin. better him than someone who still hasn't had to compromise, know that pain. and at the same time that only makes his obsession with atonement stronger

(because this is the good sh that exists in my head, mandatory disclaimer that im ignoring the heidi plotline because it was not only ooc nonsense but also like... nonsense plot-wise? i am once again asking why the fuck hed experiment on heidi who wasn't a daylighter when he could have gone for simon since he's so evil and willing to do terrible things for his sister or whatever. also this post is about the show not the books and idc what happened in the books)

anyway no wonder he was ready to fucking kill simon when he freed her like could you imagine spending decades compromising ur own beliefs and moral standards just so in the end you could get rid of an evil dictator and then some MOTHERFUCKER just fucking frees her because of his stupid childhood crush?????? bruh id be fucking livid. and thats not even considering what it meant for those he loved - his clan, magnus, etc

but anyway yeah those are my thoughts basically. i think rapha had always intended to take her down because 1- she was fucking terrible and hurting so many ppl including vampires: 2- he knew of her past with magnus and he was Protective. and he was very clear headed about it and managed to play a long con in a mind destroying game pretty well and just like damn we stan. thats all hdbdjd
