on the 8th of this month, wii u and 3ds servers are shutting down, and i really cannot stress enough how horrible that is not just on a preservation point but how it affects the future of gaming and i think the monster hunter games on both consoles put that into perspective.
ignoring the overall boom in at least 3ds online play because of how easy it is to hack it, i noticed a lot of games are focused more on matchmaking than anything and it’s depressing. while i haven’t done any of 3u’s hub stuff yet, 4u is a perfect example of why we need online hubs.
i mean aside from how wrong val habar’s hub’s gonna look without players in it especially when an entire lively cutscene shows it off, there is nothing like how hubs worked in old school. 3u and 4/4u’s hubs aren’t locked behind capcom servers and frankly it was all the more welcoming. you’re given so much incentive to interact with players. speaking from my own experiences since i still play online from time to time, the amount of people i met through and talked with in the span of 3-4 hour sessions did help me get used to actually talking and coordinating with others. learned a lot of useful tips, too.
idk there’s something about being forced into a lil hunter family for awhile that is completely unmatched. just being put into online matchups doesn’t. i feel like there’s a lot more toxicity when playing with randos period since you aren’t forced to get along. you don’t even need voice chat for it yet unless you do enable vc or you’re playing with friends, it does make it harder to connect with others.
gu’s switch servers are still up but the problem there comes from how the nintendo switch does online. first ok switch’s online servers suck ass. i’ve had more problems with it than i did with the 3ds and the 3ds is significantly older and is on weaker hardware that shouldn’t be acceptable. but also you have to pay for the online stuff in a subscription format which automatically alienates a good chunk of players. why pay for a crappy online service anyways especially when it’s a lot to begin with and people do not have that kind of money to waste anymore. unless you consistently play on a switch there is no reason to get it.
i noticed back in the animal crossing new horizons days how quickly the online dies off mainly because there’s not much to do. new leaf had a hub of its own in a sense (aka the entire town), especially with tortimer island having mini games. after the acnh boom there was nothing, and really the only people who had their islands open were ones for turnip prices and if they had someone like celeste. you’d go in, do whatever, then leave.
old school monster hunter has what i believe to be the most ideal online play and the fact that it’s being taken away is genuinely depressing. there are currently work in progress 3ds servers being made, namely pretendo, but as wonderful as they are, i don’t think it’s fair to anyone that the only way you can see your online friends is through fan servers you’ll have to go through a process to even try and play online.

You and Kenma had been close for a while. Being friends online was difficult at times, that part was easy to admit to yourselves, but having to find time within each other's schedules to talk and play games together was impossible sometimes-- Until you decided to say "fuck it" and start streaming, following in Kenma's footsteps. Over the past few years, Kenma had become the most successful streamer on YouTube since it was a fairly new platform for live streaming which gave him ample room to build a fanbase while doing whatever he wanted without the political strings that came with contracts on other platforms like Twitch. You, however, were anything but famous like him. Though you streamed here and there at first, when you decided to take it seriously in order to make it a living, you felt somewhat lost in what to do without relying on Kenma to give you views and subscribers.
However, Kenma was your best friend. It had been that way since long before he was ever famous. To you, he was still that shy kid who liked to hole himself up in his bedroom to play video games or watch anime all day; and he'd jump into VC with you whenever you were free. Now, he could see how much it meant to you to stream, because it was so obvious on your bright face every time you gained a new subscriber or earned even a single dollar donation-- You just wanted to make people's day. Money, vanity, popularity, who could give a fuck about any of that when you could entertain the 50-100 daily viewers you got on your own? He just wanted to help you out... If you could be that happy with such a small following, only Kenma could imagine the change you could bring about with a following like his.
So he invited you over one day to stream with him.
The plan was that you'd play some co-op and competitive LAN games like Star Wars Battlefront 2 and Mario Kart Wii respectively. Kenma plugged your stream by mentioning you in the title of his own, and he linked you in the description, on his socials, and even in his bio on YouTube. Why the hell he was going above and beyond for you, you weren't exactly sure; but this was Kenma, he was a sweet guy who cared a lot about his friends-- Who were you to say no to something he was so clearly excited about?
"No shot you're bumping me off the shortcut!" Kenma exclaimed irritably.
You grinned.
The two of you were three races deep in a four-race Grand Prix, which meant that this race was the decider of who would win after he was winning by only a few points since the cows on Moo-Moo Meadows seemed to favor him for some unknown reason. You were so relieved when the game randomly chose Mushroom Gorge as the last map. It was easy for you to get 1st on that map. Throughout your entire childhood, you had been preparing for this moment by going up against anyone who would entertain the idea of playing the same map over and over again, giving you the opportunity to memorize the perfect routes. Jump spots, wheelie lines, shortcuts, etc. were all necessary to get a huge lead on that map. And you knew it all by heart.
Kenma was struggling to keep up with you. He knew everything you knew, it came naturally to him since the two of you had played before and he learned it all from you just by watching the way you played; yet he couldn't seem to break away from you to maintain his spot in first place. The two of you kept exchanging the lead every turn or so. Finally, though, on the third and final lap, as the two of you took the shortcut on the last group of mushrooms, you used the banana you were carrying behind you to bump Kenma off the shortcut, which led to him falling into the abyss, resetting him to the jump before the mushrooms.
There was your lead. You could see the finish line just past the goombas.
The cheer of you winning rang through the speakers of his PC set up.
You looked over at chat who were laughing at Kenma who was trying to not fall further back into sixth place, while also cheering you on for doing it, for beating the best gamer on YouTube.
"Too damn easy, Kozume," you teased.
He finally passed the finish line, earning him sixth place in the race, second place overall in the Grand Prix.
Chat was spamming the emoji known as "Kek" in response to the way Kenma was frowning.
"I hate you..." he grumbled. "I had that... If you didn't knock me off, I would'a won."
You laughed. "It was a valiant effort, I must admit. But it wasn't enough."
As you reached down to the ground to grab your water bottle, Kenma was following you with his eyes, squinting angrily, and when you looked back up, your faces were extremely close. You gulped.
"Sore loser..."
Kenma wasn't smiling. "I could'a won that." He was inching closer and closer. "Rematch."
"We've been streaming for five hours, Kenma."
Without thinking twice, he reached over to the Stream Deck on his desk and pressed the button to end his stream. You were still staring at one another, his breath hot on your nose, his lip twitching before suddenly, without any warning or hint as to what he was going for, Kenma pounced. His lips smashed against yours. He dropped the Wii controller so that he could lace his fingers in your hair. He pulled in order to bring you closer. He melted into you when you started kissing him back.
"Kenm..." Your words were muffled by his desperation.
"I would'a won," he mumbled.
You rolled your eyes and kissed him harder-- Your best friend! The two of you were making out, something that was probably obvious to everyone who had been watching before Kenma abruptly ended his stream.
"Rematch... Later..." you replied.
Kenma smirked before pulled you onto his lap, the two of you fighting to speed things up before you'd die of unbearable need.

Devlog 11: 13...19.03.2023
Hallo! I've been writing weekly devlogs about my game, fun fact. I can also start posting them to Tumblr now (the HTML text editor is useful!). See the read more to read it... Note that it's copied straight from my website (where the 10 older devlogs are), so it might have some stuff that sounds weird here.
Anyway, I hope you find it informative.
First thing this week, I had to recover from the break I took last week. I managed to mess up my digestive system? so I was dizzy and didn't work on the game on Monday. But the dizziness passed!
So, on Tuesday, a room connecting the then-to-be-added lakeside scene to the town scene was added.
I do quite like building scenes with the cliffside tileset that I've built. It works quite well...
Also, behold. The saddest skatepark ever.
I was going to make more ramps but I'm honestly considering keeping the entire skatepark like this.
Wednesday. The actual lakeside scene was added then.
It's quite unfinished in its current state. I'm thinking about colour correction and more plants to give more of a wet feel to it.
On Thursday, I wrote a post on Tumblr! I'm going to sell my game so hard. Hi, by the way, if you're reading this and came from the Tumblr.
On Friday, I mostly did not work on Greg. But once it turned Saturday (aka 00:00), I did do some stuff. I happened to be in a vc and had some friends help me debug the game. My intro sequence was broken for a while, and we figured out why (I'm silly). So, thank you for the help!
And on Saturday (normal hours), I implemented some user experience näpunäiteid I got from that debugging session. Things like how certain menus shouldn't overlap. Plus some (one) new NPCs that hopefully explain the game mechanics more?
(He is talking about searching through trash bins)
This leads us into Sunday. Do you think fish are funny? Because these fish sure are. Sunday saw many improvements to these fish. Technically, weapons can now play their own attack animations, which the fish use. This also improved some other enemies' and weapons' visuals.
And last thing... a minor character, to add atmosphere.
That's the week! Not too shabby at all! I would like to thank my friends for being supportive. And also all the people on Tumblr who liked and hitted that follow button. Here's to a similarily good next week 🥂

childe: hakuno can be reaal chaotic too don't get me wrong (canonically likes reckless bond quests! and candy :pleading: she is a sweets luvr..) but i feel like she'd def try to prevent childe from doing anything too crazy sdfghj stop him from commiting atrocities, y'know! i feel like what would be sooo interesting to explore when it comes to them would be... family. hakuno doesn't have one! (she is so lonely actually ^_T) from what i'm reading from his character stories, he's being compared to wolves a lot (tho ngl i get more fox vibes but lmk what u think ta!) and i simply hold up bunnykuno (my hakuno is very bunnygirl coded. nodnod) because i'm basic but it's a neat trope!
gorou: i knowww i mostly talk about hakuno being a catluvr (they are her favs... along with foxes!) but she's a luvr of "fluffy-wuffy" (<- actual words she said) in general! what i'm saying is that she'd find his ears and tails super adorable :pleading: saw that he can speak to dogs too, and i think she would be so hyped about that VDNFBS sparkly-eyed stoic and all! i see that he likes sweets too so they can be sweets buddies methinks! (hakuno shares all her candies with him because she thinks his tail wagging when happy is the cutest thing-)
albedo: NONHUMAN FRENS..... ok but humanity is a really important theme for my hakuno and i think these two would be real interesting for that! really like it too because albedo's more of the logical type while hakuno's more emotional (though both of them really have that :| energy GDJFSH). albedo's line about socializing makes me really want them to have a chat about bonds and connection thooo (<- also a really important theme for my hakuno!) i know he likes desserts too so like- they can also be sweet buddies ! :pleading:
ayaka: not to say frens in all caps after i just did but leT AYAKA HAVE SOME FRIENDS!! one of which being a lovely little moon lady (who also wants friends, so it's perfect) uwu✨️ hakuno may look all elegant and ladylike but like i mentioned in the previous ask for murr-- she can be pretty damn chaotic! nothing too bad, but i think it miight help ayaka have a little more freedom in her life mayhaps? loosen up a little and enjoy the simpler things in life :,) her line about stability "I only wish life could be as leisurely as this a little more often... How greedy of me." is something that i can really imagine hakuno saying as well

hiyori: hiyori being so bright and cheerful v hakuno's gentle radiance is a real nice contrast of vibes methinks! giving me sunshine and moonlight vibes respectively.... i also literally see him be described as overly blinding sgdjgs but that’s also interesting to me because hakuno is more of the type to fade off into the background (f for moon girl-) — not the only point of difference between them though! i kid you not, in canon hakuno was so broke she made a king cry and she’s really conscious about her spendings so-- on a comedic note, i feel like hakuno would pass out internally whenever she sees hiyori so effortlessly make a pricey purchase DVFKSBFN hopefully i've established hakuno as a fluffy-wuffy animal luvr because she would love to see his pics of bloody mary sm!!! would also love to see her okok <3
nazuna: i see nazuna places a strong value on honesty and hard work-- two very hakunocore traits i must say, i'm sorry!! they're both worrywarts that take care of others more than themselves i think, so i feel like they might nag on each other (/POS) a bit. it's because they care tho! i feel like hakuno would find nazuna so cute actually... and my hakuno is very much onee-san coded so- she’s naturally very caring but she’d extra look after him methinks! i see that nazuna does his best to encourage and support others and :pleading: hakuno def needs that kind of positivity in that life :,) she’s a tough cookie to crack though, i must warn you on that! would also just like to mention how they’re the same height (160cm) and i’m sorry but another warning: hakuno can be a gremlin and i just think she’d put on heels just to tease him about that sdfghgdh

kaoru: if he tries to flirt with her then good luck kaoru because this girl's denser than a harem protagonist FHDSHD hakuno's 🤨 about flirts though, so i feel like there could be potential for some bit of tension there, but i don't think it'd be anything particularly bad! hakuno would definitely understand and relate to his want for validation and i feel like she'd be able to see more to him than just a "playboy" kind of image :thonk: i see that he gets along with the "eccentric" types anddd hakuno could def fit right in there lmao - she may look all cute and elegant, but she's pretty quirky chaotic! it'd be sweet for them to slowly befriend and open up to each other methinks :pleading:

i always tell you my pranks with noxia so i come to update you on the newest one. it all started last night when i got the idea for the @turn-back-into-a-pumpkin url but i realized i had nothing to use it for. and then i thought "haha noxia would freak out if this blog showed up out of nowhere." so i reblogged a bunch of her posts + some cinderella content. the moment she noticed noxia ran to the server and started demanding to know who the fuck that was. she got on vc with me and she was SCREAMING and BREAKING THINGS. it sounds like im exagerating but she got so intense about it 😭 meanwhile i was just listening as if i wasnt the culprit.
then other ppl joined and suddenly it was all of us on vc, listening to noxia ramble and scream. i was losing my mind, and then i got the idea to make a discord account for the pumpkin person (my pumpkinsona, if you will) and i got into the server. everyone was losing their minds. after that i joined vc with that account while muted and i just watched shit unfold.
noxia was specifically accusing our friend lynx of being behind everything which is rlly cool because i did deliberately try to imitate him a little bit. and then i decided i needed to reveal it was me in a way that wasn't super direct but that they would Get. so under the pumpkinsona i sent the music video for jopping and i really thought they would immediately jump to thinking it was me but noxia just started laughing and said "nero, are you seeing this?" AND THEN I FELT SO GUILTY BECAUSE I THOUGHT SHE WOULD IMMEDIATELY PICK UP THAT IT WAS ME BUT SHE DIDNT EVEN CONSIDER IT.
after that i came up with another plan. i left call (under my actual account) and then with the pumpkinsona acc i sent "stan monsta x" in binary code. i really thought that would do it. its the most obvious clue. and the other people in call did say they thought it was me but noxia WOULD NOT listen, she was so determined that it wasnt me. to quote, "i know its not nero, he would never do this to me, im not even going to consider it." I FELT SO GUILTY....
so this meant i had to find another way to get noxia to realize. so i just went to tumblr and posted a confession. suddenly i start getting dms from everyone in the server, they were spamming me with pictures of the carriage. i was so scared. and then i get a dm from noxia, im BEGGING for forgiveness, but she said she thought it was funny and she wanted to escalate the prank. we were going to pretend to have a break up in front of everyone. so we started fighting in the server, we broke the matching icons, i even left the server to make it realistic. unfortunately they didnt believe the fight :( according to them noxia is too reasonable for the fight to play out the way it did. and looking back i do see where we could have been better. ppl said i did rlly good though so im proud of myself.
everyone thinks everything was planned from the start though and we're just kind of acting like that's true even though noxia wasn't in the know originally. there's no reason for us to do that, we're just lying for fun atp.
This was so wild from start to finish, help. U and noxia are basically writing ur own reality tv segment here 😭😭. I can't believe she was so adamant it wasn't u....top 10 anime betrayals of the last decade

Your head quirks, fingers stopped on the screen. You’re in the process of giving your character a cute new nickname; it’s kind of hard to decide between “awkward dude” and “elderly skater”.
“Excuse me?” Your chat comes alive with emotes and ‘KEKW’s, obviously entertained by you and your almost-more-than-friends-friend.
There’s a story for that later.
Sapnap’s rough laugh comes through your headset and he audibly swallows, the sound of a water bottle dropping onto his desk echoing.
“I’m just saying—it’s boring. It’s like Minecraft but you don’t like… do anything.” The grainy image of his bearded face shifts and you see him pull out his phone.
“It’s— you can’t even compare it to Minecraft! It’s a completely different game system—you actually interact with other people live in the game.” You huff out a dramatic sigh, slumping in your chair with a pout. “Just because you go into this lucid state where all you know is ‘touch block, hit George’ doesn’t mean this game isn’t fun.” (He scoffs at your awful impression of his voice. Your viewers love it.)
“Jeez,” he mumbles, fumbling with the cap of his water bottle. “Touched a nerve there, bud.”
You roll your eyes, getting back to the village in the game.
“Don't ‘bud’ me.”
The call falls comfortably quiet, the sounds of him tapping obsessively on his phone and you clicking away filling the silence. A gentle bedroom-pop YouTube playlist remains in the background, prompting you to hum along and glance at the chat to see a flood of “check twitter” and “Y/N TWITTER!!”.
“What happened on Twitter?” You mumble, confused, and pull the website up on another monitor. Sapnap just makes a curious noise, swinging back and forth in a circle. “Oh my God,” you say to yourself, fingertips brushing your parted lips.
“What?”
“Hasan Piker just followed me and retweeted one of my not even remotely political old tweets. Like from a year ago.”
“That’s— wow. Congrats?” Sapnap’s voice cracks, and his ears flush pink the tiniest bit when you glance at his face on Discord.
“I’m gonna go on record and say that he could get it.” You shake your head in disbelief.
Sapnap falls uncharacteristically non-hyper-verbal, so you look past the frenzied chat and to his screen— wait. He muted and turned his camera off.
“Um,” you start, furiously typing question marks in your private chat. “Where’d you go?” You mute and turn screen share off for your stream, concerned that he might’ve fallen off his chair and broken his neck and needs you to call the ambulance.
The characteristic ding of a twitter notification sounds through your bedroom, and you look at your phone quickly.
“That’s where I went.”
Sapnap Tweeted: “all Y/U stans can choke on my dick”.
“Jesus, Sapnap,” you say, and rapidly refresh to read the replies. This tweet was deleted. “That’s so— that barely makes sense, bro. Why— literally what?”
His snicker floods your ears and you relax in your chair. Crisis: averted. “Don’t fucking— what’s wrong with you?”
“I thought it would be funny,” he offers, shrugging, and fiddles with the straw in his water bottle, smile fading. “And also Hasan pisses me off.”
“Why, ‘cause he wants a piece of this? Jealous?” You think back to your viewers, knowing they’re probably spamming question marks and coming to ludacris conclusions about both of your absences. No offense to them. You remember your stan days very vividly.
“I mean, kinda.” He rubs once at his nose, glancing at the camera (and what feels like you) before taking a sip from his water bottle.
“Wow.” You watch one strand of his hair fall from beneath his hat and brush against his full eyebrows. “I’m uh—I’ll get back to my stream. You coming? Or is it time for a Sapnap-snack?”
“What the hell is that supposed to mean?” He snorts and leans his chin onto the balance of his arm.
“That means you like to take a little snack break mid-stream and come back approximately nine hours later and you didn’t even eat.”
“You know what— fuck you.” He flicks the camera as you laugh at the look on his face.
The teasing mood is easily kept as you switch games from Animal Crossing to Uno, all the while slamming Sapnap with +4’s and skipping the newly-arrived BadBoyHalo at any chance you can get. It unironically pisses him off and he has to take a Sapnap-snack break midway through (only a fifteen minute break this time, during which you and Bad take a “What Kind of Bread Are You?” quiz). The rest of the night is filled with devious cackles (you), loud and sudden bangs that sound suspiciously like someone hitting their desk in anger (Sap) and the stupid barking of Rat, AKA Lucy (Bad). She’s cute but a menace to the sound quality of Bad’s microphone. You sign off stream around 2 a.m. with various forms of thanks and kisses blown to the camera. It’s been a refreshing night, actually; you’ve been busy organizing a partnership stream all week and all your friends have been busy filming or editing or what-not. Quackity had time for a little Roblox every couple of days, though. He’s got your back.
The next time you see Sapnap is after a two hour stream of him try-harding in Valorant and you finishing responding to an email from your partnership in the VC.
“Okay, I’m back.” You hear him shift in his chair and click a couple more times on his keyboard. You perk up in your chair, closing the email browser you’d been looking at.
“Do you want to play anything else? I’m down for anything.”
“Absolutely not Uno. You can go to hell for giving me 6 cards that one time,” he jabs. You scoff, crossing your arms and leaning back in your chair.
“Okay, the +4 was on me but it’s Bad who gave you the last two. That’s not my fault, sweetie.”
“Yeah, yeah,” he mumbles, trailing off as the clicking of his keyboard stops. “Hey, um—Guess what?”
Your heart beats loud in your ears at the tone of his voice. He sounds nervous; that’s never good.
“I’m scared to guess,” you try, playing with a little Minecraft dog figurine you have on your desk with fidgety fingers. “What?”
“I bought Animal Crossing.”
Silence. You stare at his discord icon blankly, trying to reroute the wires of your brain.
“Tell me you love it.”
“Well… I haven’t actually played it— but you said you liked it, so.”
“So,” you repeat him, ears warming but continuing on. “Is that what you tell all your friends when you buy something they like? That it's because of them?”
He seems to choose his next words carefully, pausing a beat to consider your questions.
“Well, I don’t have a crush on all of my friends.”
“You—what?” You stutter, caught off guard and stumbling. What did he just say? “Don’t tell me you mean you have a crush on me.”
“I’m almost positive I just did.” His discord icon stares right back at you, taunting.
“You know, you’re very casual for someone who just admitted they like-like me.” Your cheeks flush pink and you have to press a hand to your chest to keep your breathing sounding stable.
“Yeah, I’m kind of cool like that,” he offers, a huff of a laugh punctuating his statement. The conversation moves into a lull that you can’t help but know is because of you. He must expect you to say something about it, right?
“You are very cool, Sapnap.” You tilt back in your chair, sucking in a breath to prepare yourself for your next words. “And—Isortakindofhaveacrushonyoutoo.”
He must understand you, for you can hear the grin in his voice when he asks “Really?”
“Y-yeah.” You feel like a preteen again, all shaky and giddy in front of the boy you just asked to a middle school dance.
“Um, alright. What do we do now?”
“I don’t know,” you answer genuinely and swing in a happy little circle in your chair. “We could play Animal Crossing.”
“I’m down.”
You swear you’ve never heard more beautiful words.
He keeps his camera off for most of the time you two play, too focused on creating his island and asking you questions about how to fish to turn it on. He silently flips it on when you help him decorate his lawn, needing to show you in real-time the decorations he has bought and where you think he should put them. He looks cute. I mean, of course he does. He always does.
You tell him goodbye late in the night, eyes saying a little more than just “see you tomorrow”.
You like him. He likes you.
It’s even better when you two have matching gardens.

I have been made aware that Ranboo is uncomfortable with x readers, I am trying to privately save any to find things that may possibly be uncomfortable for him in the future and avoid them, however I cannot do that with asks. I will put a read more below, please scroll if youre uncomfortable with this. I have re-edited this, so you may read this as a platonic friendship if you please.

All you could hear was the Discord message tone come through your phone as you were trying to sleep. You told him you were going to try and sleep. It was 2am for you, you were on the other side of the world to him. You finally gave in with a groan as you checked your DM's. Obviously, it was from Ranboo, spamming "VC VC VC." in your messages. You joined the VC.
"I told you I'm tryna sleep man come on."
You whined, voice sleepy. You could hear him laughing on the other end.
"I know. I wanted to talk to you to help you fall asleep. We've been best friends long enough for me to know that it takes you a while to fall asleep."
You smiled, even though he couldn't see you. It was true, you struggled to fall asleep. Even more so since it was your birthday tomorrow. You usually had alot on your mind. You were thankful to have Ranboo as your best friend, Ranboo as someone who understands.
"Turn your camera on, I wanna make sure you're ok."
You did as you were told to do. You turned on your camera and propped up your phone so Ranboo could see your face. You got back comfy into your bed and he began talking. Nothing much in particular, just about his streams, his friends etc etc. It suprised you how much his voice actually managed to send you to sleep everytime, but it happens. And boy were you greatful for it. You dozed off within a matter of minutes.
The call had ended by the time you woke up. Ranboo was gone, Discord had already kicked you out the empty call. But that was ok. Because it was your birthday today. You were gonna do a big birthday stream where you did a vast variety of things, like playing Minecraft of unboxing things and everything in-between. It wasn't until about halfway through your stream that you were a tiny bit upset, but you weren't letting it show. You hadn't heard from your best friend on Discord or from your chat the entire stream. Just then though, Ranboo sent through a multiplayer server link into your Discord DM's without context. You knew what it was, of course you did. You've played enough multiplayer Minecraft to know what it is.
"Hold on chat, might have to pause on this a moment, Ranboo just sent a Minecraft server link to my DM's."
You announced to chat as you put your virtual drawing board to the side and opened Minecraft. Just as you were about to join the server Ranboo sent to your DM's "VC 3." Supposing you had to join it, you went onto the SMP group and into VC 3.
"You good?"
Ranboo asked, checking up on you.
"Yeah, I'm good. Should I join this server now?"
You asked in a simple reply. A simple "Yup." just rang through your ears as you joined the server. The world loaded in and you were just in a fully black room, Ranboo's character standing infront of you.
"Follow me."
He said simply as his character began walking away. You ran towards him to catch up, eventually level enough to go at walking speed. You walked down a black hallway until a redstone door opened up into the rest of the world.
"HAPPY BIRTHDAY Y/N!"
Ranboo shouted through the headset. You couldn't help but smile at what he did. It was a Minecraft world with all of your favourite things built in it, from animals to shows.
"I really am devistated I can't be with you for your birthday, so I though why not suprise you during your birthday stream?"
You really wished you could just run up to him, hug him tightly and thank him so much at the time, but the best you could do was simply be in awe of what he did. There were simply no words that could help you at this moment.

My unnecessary and irrelevant reviews about the transformers media I have consumed.
Please let me have this. I was doom scrolling and transformers is my comfort fandom.
G1: I have not watched all of it, I do plan on doing so but I did watch it when I was younger and does invoke nostolgia. I watched it on Teletoon Retro (does that even exist anymore?) ((just googled it, rip teletoon retro)). For some reason I really like the episode The Ultimate Weapon. I am a huge fan of First Aid and it was because of this episode and I have no idea why. Rodimus is the main character of that episode with First Aid just having a very prominent role in the side story of that episode. I really liked the Aerialbots and their storyline with the time traveling and the not knowing if they’re on the right side was really cool. Honestly the animation errors and weird inconsistent story are part of the charm I guess.
RID 2001: another show I’ve only seen tidbits of. I watched this one via random episodes illegally uploaded to YouTube in the early to mid 2010s and now all those videos are taken down. As a lover of camp, this is camp. I love it. Transformers as a concept is pretty camp (which is why I adore it) and I definitely will watch all of this one day. Though Sideburn is cool and all, I do wish he didn’t chase a red sports car every episode. Otherwise he’s one of my favourites cause himbo rights I guess.
Transformers IDW 2005: So... I read the entirety of the idw comics purely because I found out Thundercracker was a screenplay writer and I wanted to read the entire story so I got the complete context of his development from scary fighter jet to an Oscar winner. I was not disappointed, I was met with queer and trans representation of all sorts, a diverse storyline with action filled parts, comedy elements, slice of life, political drama, adventure, horror, and the best road trip through space. Honestly I was not expecting transformers of all things to have queerness represented so casually and quite well in my opinion (though technically they are guilty of bury your gays, I don’t count it cause there was a clear reason for that death) Thundercracker was marked as one of my favourites cause of this series. I did experience a wonderful story because I wanted to see how he got his happy ending. My biggest criticism of idw transformers is that I love their interpretations of characters and sadly I know I’ll probably never get to seen them like that again. But if I want to experience those characters like that, I’ll just re read it I guess.
Transformers Animated: I have watched the entirety of this great show twice and it still love it. Funny characters, a human character that has a purpose, and a fun change to the formula, Transformers Animated has one of my favourite Optimus and made a Bumblebee so lovably loud they had to take away his voice so he wouldn’t become too powerful. Loved all of the characters except the human villains, Headmaster did not age well and I wasn’t in love with Ratchet’s design but his personality more than made up for it. If you want more animated, I love Transformers ReAnimated the void is filled by that series and channel. While I wish it got another season, it’s ending was satisfying enough I guess.
Transformers Prime: Smokescreen is great and was underutilizes -100/10. Just kidding, kind of I really enjoyed Prime. I’ve only watched through it completely once cause when I was a child I did not like the designs since apparently as a child I was a G1 loyalist I guess. Though now Prime has one of my favourite styles that still holds up today. Dramatic story with actual character development, I can over look that the plots a tad slow. I wish Breakdown was utilized more and it also could have benefited from an extra season but the movie wrapped it up much better than animated’s ending. Knockout is an amazing character and I was spoiled while I was watching it that he turns Autobot though I didn’t realize that wasn’t until the literal end of the series. Would’ve like a completely fleshed out Breakdown and Knockout or at least Knockout redemption arc but there’s always fanfiction I guess.
Robots in Disguise 2015: I didn’t hate it? It definitely helped that I watched this before Prime for some reason. I liked the designs, Sideswipe... himbo rights. Biggest flaw is the lack of character growth. I just want nice things for Sideswipe, Strongarm and Fixit. Grimlock was fun, I like Bumblebee trying to be a good leader and Optimus should have stayed dead. The crossover and referenced to Rescue Bots was fun and Blurr and Sideswipe was the rivalry I didn’t know I needed. But the one I really needed was Smokescreen in there too. The ending arc was interesting though not executed the best and Steeljaw did a lot of the heavy lifting for the villain side to a point where they over utilized him and his character suffered as a result. Windblade was not as bad as people online said she was, splitting the group up into two was stupid cause I’m bitter and still don’t want Optimus there. Also long list of underutilization: Denny and Russel Clay, Jazz, all the characters from prime except Optimus and Bee, Jetfire and Jetstorm, More Rescue bots, and many more! Like that girl that’s Russel’s friend that I literally don’t remember because I’m pretty sure the writers forgot about her! Anyways, in retrospect the show probably wasn’t great but I liked it I guess.
Rescue Bots: This show is way better than it needed to be. I actually love the no Decelticons and war. I’m a sucker for slice of life and especially slice of life with a twist. Human villains that were actually interesting, actual character development, continuity (somewhat), great human characters all while being target for children. I’m so happy I watched this show while I was kind of the target age and rewatching it for the third time was great cause some of the science jargon actually made sense to me. Satisfying ending too and honestly it can just appeal to everyone. Love all four of the main rescue bots and constantly wish they made evergreen designs and toys for them so they could at least make cameos in other transformers media. Sometimes it’s nice to have transformers being wholesome I guess.
Rescue Bots Academy: ... I was not the age democratic for this show and I somehow still liked it? Maybe it’s the fact that I’ve been gravitating to more wholesome content due to current events but it was actually good? Love all the students, I do miss the old crew and characters like Doc Green and Frankie are under utilized and the Burns family is almost nowhere to be found :(. Once again there’s some actual character development and Hot Shot’s mentor relationship with Heatwave is super sweet. Also actually having positive post war Decepticon and Autobot relationships in this children’s show? Woah. Biggest issue is like RID 2015; the lack of continuity and characters completely disappearing. Perceptor was fun and I was not expecting him to appear. And I love me some microscope dude. It was a good send off for the aligned continuity I guess.
Cyberverse: ending too soon. I was about to be upset that bumblebee didn’t have his voice but he had his voice in his head which was great. Episodes like the velocitron one was really good and it definitely got better with each season and peaked in the Quintesson arc and then rolled to the cancellation date. Thundercracker shouldn’t have been killed off but I’m very biased. Seeing the rebuilding of Cybertron was cool. Windblade and Bumblebee had a fun relationship. I really liked this iteration of Grimlock. Perceptor was super interesting but then they did nothing with him after the Quintesson arc which was a shame and I would have liked to see better relationships between the Autobots and Decepticons after the team up. Also wholesome Whirl was fun. Honestly this needed one more season so bad. I just think it could have been great if it got one. But it’s still good I guess.
War for Cybertron: ...let’s see how I feel after Kingdom comes out but right now, meh. For me my favourite transformers characters usually end up being side characters due to me wishing they had more screen time so in this case, Red Alert is great please show me more of Red Alert. I get what all the people are saying about the voice acting and whatever but I can look past it (though please give us Peter Cullen or let the current VC make his own Optimus voice). But one thing is that all the YouTube reviewers be saying that I completely agree with is that it’s dark. Like lighting wise. I occasionally had trouble making out what was happening because it was dark. Honestly my biggest issue isn’t a fault of the show. I like development of multiple characters to be shown so I can fall in love with a multitude of characters but due to short seasons, it makes sense to focus in completely on one character at a time. Siege in my opinion at least let me see more of the background characters rather than Earthrise but I’d probably like Earthwise more if I was a bigger fan of Optimus. I’m going to watch Kingdom but I’m not expecting to be wowed I guess.
In conclusion, I should watch Beast Wars, I’m going to re read the ending of Lost Light again and revel in the melancholic ending I adore and I really like Thundercracker and First Aid. One great thing about transformers and other franchises that have been around for awhile, if you don’t like the current thing, there’s plenty of last media and you probably won’t need to wait too long for the next piece of media you’ll hopefully like.
Please be good idw 2019, I’ve read a bit of you and I have a scrap of hope. Oh please please please be good. Give some characters the Thundercracker treatment.

tsukishima made a server for y'all after you bribed him (also some of his viewers begged him to)
kageyama and hinata teamed up and killed tsukishima, not even a minute in
and you were just there like “:o chat yall seeing this shit”
yall spawned in near a birch flower forest biome thingy and you and yachi bolted over there
you asked yachi to be your minecraft gf and she accepted
as soon as she said yes, kageyama and hinata killed tsukki again lmao
you and yachi moved to a different voice call bc hinata kept screaming about how tsukki was after him now
you guys began planning on having a cute little cottage core home together
you go mining while yachi makes a farm + gathers animals
yachi screamed of joy when she found a chicken family
she also screamed when she happened to find a pink sheep
you guys are just talking about random stuff and were just vibing for the rest of the stream
the next time you stream on the server, you see that yams made a cute little spawn place and yams took you on an adventure to go see his home in the snowy mountains
tsukki logged on and you and yams proceeded to go try to find his home despite tsukki tell you to fuck off
for some reason, he starts giving you guys clues on where he’s at
you’re all like “omg friendship 🥰″
but in reality, someone donated like 50 bucks for him to kill you and he’s taking this opportunity to lure you guys
it turns night really fast and then a group of zombies gang up on you
you end up dying like four times before you baby rage and give up
you leave the voice chat and go back to being a wee farmer waiting for your lover, yachi, to log on
instead of yachi, you get hinata </3
hinata logs on and he immediately calls you
“hinata-”
“y/n!!! do you wanna go to the nether with me!!”
“no ❤️″
you hang up but then he calls you again
“i’ll give you a two pigs, i know you and yachi are looking for some”
thirty minutes later, hinata has gotten you lost in a soul sand biome
only plus from this trip is that you got a lot of glowstone
you ended up having to call kageyama and ask him to come save you bc yams was mining god knows where and tsukishima would never help you bc he’s a bully <3
kageyama was calling both of you dumbasses in the vc
hinata bc hinata is hinata and you for following hinata blindly
then he got lost somewhere else in the nether <3
and now the three of you were fighting as you ran away from ghasts and skele bois
“it’s the short height for me”
“it’s the abandonment issues for me”
“it’s the need to one up each other in every situation because y’all insecure for me”
this whole time your chats were telling yall to just look at coords so you could find each other but you guys are illiterate </3
yachi finally logged on and joined your call and she saved yall bc she was watching your stream this whole time and was like wtf
the vc was SILENT as yachi led y’all to the nether portal
you muted yourself in shame and starting thanking recent subs and just the chat in general
everyone in chat: ugh we stan a dumb queen 🤩
another time you go on the server, hinata has accidentally started a war against tsukishima and so like every five minutes you would see smth like “tinysun was blown up by moonshima” or “moonshima was shot by tinysun using schlong” (yes hinata is that guy)
speaking of names
yall clown kageyama every five seconds bc he made his ign ‘Setter_soul_x’ (bc his streamer name was taken </3)
he gets pissed off a lot and leaves the server bc everytime you guys start a fight, someone will be like “okay Setter_soul_x”
yachi has “yacchan” meanwhile yams had “yamagucci” and you can can decide whether you have a clapped ign or not
now to just talk about general stuff
i feel like yams and tsukki would be those bitches who make exp farms and shit
like one day you’ll log on and you’ll ask them where they’re at and they’ll be like “oh we’re making an enderman farm in the end” or “we just finished a villager breeder” or some shit like that
yachi would stick to farming and being a cottagecore gay and you would be the one to do most of the mining and shit
sometimes she’d follow you when you go to fight someone or just bother them
hinata made a giant netherrack meatball at spawn and inside of it is just pure hell
everytime someone tries to go in it, they get blown up by a creeper or smth bc its so fucking dark in there bc the dumbass forgot to put some type of light source in there
kageyama’s house is just a cube-shaped hole he mined somewhere and everytime he wants more space he’ll just expand the cube
you and tsukki end up teaming up together at one point and made a railroad to everyone’s homes and to different biomes
when everyone fought the wither, tsukki, yamaguchi, and hinata did most of the work you and kageyama were far away watching like “damn thats crazy” (yachi wasnt streaming at the time and just told you guys she didnt care if you did it without her)
when it was time for the ender dragon, it was a whole different story
tsukishima and yamaguchi were hella prepared and were calmly going around destroying the end crystals while you, hinata and kageyama were just trying to get away from all the angry endermen
yachi was just placing water down and making cobblestone huts y’all could hide under
once tsukki and yams finished destroying the end crystals, you joined them in shooting down the ender dragon
kags and hinata were still fighting endermen
like all you’d see is “ __ was slained by Enderman” messages as you listened to tsukki and yams talk to each other calmly
yachi said she wasnt fighting no dragon bc fuck that shit
one y’all did kill the dragon, hinata tried to claim the dragon egg and tsukishima yelled at him for like ten minutes bc hinata didnt do shit
and while tsukki fought with hinata and kageyama, you and yachi followed yamaguchi into an end gateway
you found an end city but then you fell outta the world </3 dont ask how, you just did
you decided to log off and that was that
another time you logged on, tsukki invited you to go with him to a woodland mansion bc he got a map
you thought he was being fishy but you went anyways bc content
everything was going well, you guys traveled there together, found a desert temple along the way, you tamed a cat, tsukki talked about conspiracy theories with you
but then you got to the mansion and you lost him
you were like tsukki where tf you’d go and he would tell you a place and you would go and he wasnt there
you were about to cry bc so many mobs were after you and u just boxed yourself into a little dirt hut in the corner and you kept yelling at tsukki in vc
he muted himself bc he was laughing his ass off at your pain heart been broke so many times
he finally came to get you bc apparently he already moved upstairs and just as you calmed down, tsukki betrayed you
you walked in front of him in fear of mobs hitting you from behind but tsukki ended up hitting you with a sword to death </3
you immediately logged off and then cried to your stream about fake friends for like ten minutes while listening to the inside out soundtrack
your chat convinced you to log back on and hesitantly joined the vc again and tsukishima apologized while trying to hold back laughter and told you that he put your stuff in your chest and you were like 🥺🥺🥺
overall the server is very chaotic but kinda nice bc family bonding ❤️ and even tho tsukki is a dick he along, with yams, help you and yachi out sometimes so your cottagecore aesthetic thrived

I've been thinking recently about how much the Dream SMP has given me, so I wrote it down.
It got kind of long and also probably full of mistakes, sorry about that! ^^'
Some backstory, that you can 100% skip: I've been fortunate enough to have a pretty consistent group of friends over the years. I have several friends that I can't imagine my life without at this point. They helped me in a very difficult time and I can message them at any point, even if we don't talk for a few days or weeks. It's just how it is.
Anyway - during covid we met maybe 2 times. Not all of us - both times we had 2 or 3 people there max. I miss them a lot.
And last year I was introduced to the dsmp by a recommended youtube video! It was an hour long recap of the L'Manburg independence war. I watched that video. Then I watched another one. And an animation by SAD-its. And then I watched a stream. And another one. And another one. And I've been watching dsmp for a few months now.
Where am I going with this? Well... I guess I want to say that the dsmp helped me, because I got to (and continue to) witness so many friendships start and/or become stronger. I get to watch friends flirt openly. I get to see them laugh at stupid jokes, tease each other, but also support each other. Care for each other.
They are so important to me, because that is one of the greatest things you can have in life - a friendship so real, that it doesn't matter how long you haven't seen each other, it doesn't matter if you don't like something the other person does - you do it together anyways, because you just want to spend time together.
I see them support each other and I am reminded of my friends, who don't recognise the characters from my drawings, but are willing to look at them and tell me if they look good. They remind me of my best friends, with whom I have long, meanigful conversations in the evenings and silly 'arguments' over the best shape of pasta in the mornings.
They remind me that love isn't always romantic. I love my friends. And I can see that Dream SMP members love each other.
They support each other any chance they get. Remember when Mask or Roadtrip were released? Or when Your New Boyfriend came out? When Lovejoy released their first album? How all of them promoted them? How they continnue to listen to the songs on stream?
Have you noticed how happy they are when they join a VC together? Especially during late streams, when half of them are falling asleep, but still want to be there.
Do you see how ready they are to defend each other? To help others? How they are happy to donate to the same cause or to the other members?
Can you see how fond the OG members are of each other when they talk about their memories together? How they remember fondly even the weirdest and stupidest stories?
Maybe I'm just sappy today, but I am very glad youtube decided to recommend me that video that day. I'm glad I decided to watch it. Because that decision allowed me to not only be a part of great community here, bot only see those friendships, but also make new friends myself :D (you know who you are and I want you to know that I appreciate you very much <33)
I am glad that Dream and George decided to play survival that day. I'm glad Dream saw the opportunity to boost other creators and that he took it. I'm glad they all want the same in the end - show us an incredible story while having fun.
As one post once said (that I will never be able to find) - new members of the dsmp are congratulated not only because that is a great chance to grow and make money, but also because they are entering a wonderful community and are going to make beautiful friendships along the way, that will hopefully last way longer than server does.

It’s 4:35AM here are some things about my ftiwnds
Geppy:
I really like geppy. Fun and cool and makes me smile so much. I think My Singing Monsyers is cool and I had never heard about it before I met them. They’re a sweet person and seem so genuine which I like a lot. I’ve been thinking about a gift for geppy. What sort of things I could make. I have a couple ideas but none that are amazing. Maybe a smoochle plushie? I just worry that it will turn out wonky and ugly. But Smoochle is my friend Geppy’s favorite from My Singing Monsters!!! I was also thinking maybe. A hand warmer shaped like a pigeon. Not helpful now (summer time) but in the winter they’re nice. You just microwave it and then you can keep it in your pocket and it’s warm. I loce having warm it makes me feel loved. I want geppy to feel loved, too! And also my friend geppy likes pigeons :D
Rex:
Today I made a hat for Rex so I’m not going to do. MORE. gifts. BUT. Rex created wife for us (chelldon, who is very cool wife) so maybe. DESERVES. more gifts. I think giving gifts might be part of my love language. Or maybe I just like it a lot? Anyway. Rex is really cool. He’s good at art and sometimes I worry he won’t wanna be my friend bc I look up to him a lot. He’s just so good at art and so fun to talk to and is just a really sweet guy. Like... idk. Friend pal who is easy to talk to. Like REALLY easy to talk to. My brain just disconnects and next thing I know it’s been four hours and Rex is drawing Gordon Freeman’s fat ass. Not even just silly stuff tho, serious too. We talked about like. Housing inequality. That’s a topic for adults. Kinda crazy, Yo
Kac:
Aw man Kac is so cool. When I first joined the server I was kinda intimidated because yk. Here’s this really cool older pal who likes the stuff I like but. Makes fewer typos than me. And he’s like. In school for animation (which is super cool??? Like. Going to school for art is such a dream). Kac is also like... a really chill and down to earth person a lot of the time. He’s so nice as a mod and also just like. Means a lot to me as a friend. Emotional support Kacper funny messages. Also has lots of crazy stories. I’ve been trying to figure out how to. Mail stuff internationally. SPECIFICALLY for gift for. Kacper and Bunny. I want to make cool earrings for Kac and I don’t even know why. The brain version of Kac (the Kac I imagine in my head) wears cool earrings. And like. I’m a lesbian. I can make earrings.
Wormie:
Wormwormwormworm. Wormie I also look up to a lot. Maybe it’s just good artists that I see and go hhhwaaaa? And also they’re SO funny. Like. So funny to talk to in VC and stuff??? Also their aesthetic makes me pog so hard it’s just like.... it’s like a not creepy version of kidcore I guess. Which is hard to do. Bitta circusy stuff and a bitta retro toys and none of the like. Creepy stuff. And also their name has emojis and every time they messsge I look at their name for a while. Bc it’s fun to see. I’ve been wanting to make Wormie a big worm. Shaped like a worm on a string, you know? But I think shipping would be too much. But also I have like my whole heart set on the idea. Yeah. Maybe I’ll figure it out.
It’s uh. 5 am now. Ish. And I’m so tired now after rambling about some of my pals. I’ll ramble more tomorrow. I love u

To say your first couple months back home was a walk in the park would be a big fat lie.
Nothing bad really happened. Well, except when your BFF got in that bad car accident and you swore up and down it had something to do with you, but she pushes you away and says she's fine and can't stand you and Lucifer taking the blame.
Why would Lucifer be taking the blame, you thought. So, you ask him. Like any sane person would do who was overprotective of their friends. If you ended up being wrong about this guy being “good” and “nice”, you had to get him away from Chloe.
But no. He's not bad. Just crazy. What with continuing with his “Devil” shtick and claiming it was one of his “Angel” brothers trying to take what his father, aka “God”, gave him in exchange for a favor.
And you thought you were crazy before, but it wasn't true for you, so why would it be true for him?
Oh, and after that whole fiasco poor Chloe finds out that her real father’s killer has been free all this time. No reprimanding, no worries. Just a cop killer who got to continue his life freely. Turns out the killer was Warden Perry Smith, and he was responsible for many set up kills. You remember the failure you felt when Smith managed to destroy his scent from your hounds. The bastard didn’t get far, though. Maze managed to easily capture him, and from then on became the LAPD’s number one bounty hunter.
But, with all that bad came a lot of good. Not easily, of course. It's hard work trying to find a suitable building in the perfect location for your next veterinarian hospital. You, with the help of your trusty sidekick Alice, managed to find just that though.
Next, while you sorted out the building paperwork and searched for a good construction company, you had to find a place to live. That, thankfully, went much quicker than finding the next “Circle of Life Veterinary Clinic” building.
Chloe kept trying to convince you to move in with her instead of Maze, but you politely declined. You didn't want to be the one who made that badass fighter homeless. Besides, you like having your own space.
And to top all that off, you got your old job back as the Captain of the K9 division of the LAPD. You missed training your dogs & officers, plus having that paycheck, the paycheck from the “COL VC” in New York, and the future paycheck of the next “COL VC” building allowed you to not stress financially.
Currently, you are standing in “COL VC #2” watching the progress come along. You smile as you see how well, and fast, things are going. If this keeps up, you'll be able to open up within the month.
Which means you and Alice need to start hiring people.
You sigh to yourself and rub your forehead, closing your eyes. First things first, you had to find some way to properly thank Lucifer for giving you the name of this construction company.
“They are a fantastic company! Did very fine work in my club. Why not come see for yourself tonight?” Lucifer looked at you like he looked at Alice the first day.
“Not a chance.” You smiled at him and crossed your arms, building up a barrier.
“Oooh, playing hard to get are we?” He licked his lips and looked you up and down, “I like it!”
“Ok. This was obviously a bad idea.” You huffed and started to leave Chloe’s desk.
“Wait, K9!” You stopped and turned back towards him, “I’m sorry, truly.” he looked sincere and placed his right hand over his heart, “Here.” He grabbed the yellow sticky notes and a pen from Chloe’s desk and began to write.
“Just tell the owner that you’re with me.” He handed you the note and smiled, “He'll give you a large discount, I'm sure.”
You looked down at the note and couldn't help the thought of how beautiful Lucifer’s handwriting was, “Thank you, Lucifer.” You looked up at him and smiled, a genuine one this time.
“You’re quite welcome, my dear.” He gave you a genuine smile back, then turned flirtatious again, “Though I would like you to come to my club, so you can see what those constructors are really capable of. It’s so sad their talents will be wasted on an animal clinic.”
“Uh-huh.” You shook your head, still smiling, and walked away.
Your phone’s ringtone knocks you back to the present. The call says it’s Chloe, but when you answer it-
“SOME DADDY KILLER BOY IS GOING TO MAKE ME HOMELESS!” Lucifer’s voice blares through your phone so loud that the workers around turn towards you and you swear your ear is bleeding.
“Sooo, you think the perfect way to stop this ‘Daddy Killer Boy’ is to make me go deaf? Well, you’re doing very well so far.” You bring your phone to your none deaf ear and rub the now deaf one.
“The Detective won’t help me-” you can hear Chloe yelling at him in the background saying to give back her phone. You hear a bit of a scuffle, and can imagine Chloe shaking her head as she gets her phone.
“Sorry about that, Earth. Calling you is the only way I can think of to help Lucifer.” You can tell Chloe is saying that last part to him directly, and can just imagine his eye roll.
“What’s going on?”
“Our new case victim is Dean Cooper.”
“That LA real-estate tycoon guy?”
“Yup. It looks like he died having dinner with his possible killer. The killer looks to have shattered a champagne glass and stuck a shard in Dean's throat.”
“Ouch.”
“Ella’s still at the crime scene trying to piece the glass back together in order to get fingerprints.”
“Oh, Ella.” You smile and shake your head, “What a good little scientist.”
“Agreed, if a bit crazy.” Chloe holds in a laugh, “Well, Mr. Cooper was the one who owned the block that Lucifer’s nightclub is on and it seems like Mr. Eric Cooper, Dean's son, is pretty quick in reclaiming his father’s properties.”
“I see…So I’m guessing he’s suspect numero uno?”
“Yes, but this is why I’m calling you,” Chloe gives an audible stressful sigh, “I just...I can’t seem to keep my mind on this case with the court on Perry Smith right around the corner. Plus, with my mom flying in tonight and Dan being busy with a bomb case-”
“You don’t need to say anymore, Chlo. I’ll take care of this. Just send me the address to the crime scene and I’ll take over.”
“Thank you, Earth.” You can just hear the weight lift off your BFF’s shoulder, “I’ll text you the details right now. I owe you one.”
“This is what friends do for each other, Chloe. You should know that by now.” Before you hang up you can hear Lucifer in the background, “Hurry along, K9! Every minute I get closer to homelessness!”
“Proper thank you, here I come.”

As you pull up to the crime scene you see the medics carrying away a body bag, aka Dean Cooper. So there will be no need to worry about seeing a dead man, but there is an angry British man heading straight towards you.
“Finally! Does my homelessness mean nothing to you?” Lucifer says, but despite being upset he still opens your car door and helps you out.
“Lucifer you’re, like, a zillionaire or whatever.” You nod your thanks and you both head inside the dead man's house, “I highly doubt you’d let yourself be ‘homeless’ for more than an hour, at most.”
“But this is LUX, K9.” You try to ignore Lucifer’s desperation and come up beside Ella, who was just about to complete the champagne glass puzzle.
“Annnd, that’s how we do it!” Ella manages to place the last piece perfectly, stands up and shoves her fist in front of your face, “Ta’vonlu!”
“A puzzle solver and a Trekkie?” You laugh and smile, “Ella, I’m liking you more and more each day.”
“Woohoo! Fellow Trekkie!” Ella’s hand goes from a fist to the Vulcan greeting and you return it. Lucifer’s eye roll is incredibly loud.
Ella gets back to work on scanning the glass for fingerprints and in the meantime, an officer hands you a folder of all info found about Dean Cooper. As you skim through the words you become disappointed, and impressed. It was amazing that a shark like Cooper had no record whatsoever.
“So, can we go to this baby shark now to arrest him and get my home back?” Lucifer stands in front of you, hands intertwined together in front of him.
“We don’t have any proof with which to arrest Eric.” You look at him as you hand the folder back to the officer.
“He has motive. That's all the proof you need!”
“Actually, you may have more than that!” Ella calls out and you go to her. She points to her laptop screen where it clearly states that Eric Cooper’s fingerprints were on the glass that killed his father.
“There you go! Come on chop chop!” Lucifer pushes you by the small of your back out the door and to your car, “We’ve got a baby shark to arrest!”

You barley park and shut off the engine before Lucifer is out and heading towards the Cooper building, “Lucifer wait!”
“You know, you drive just as slow as the Detective?” Lucifer stops and waits for you to catch up.
“If by slow you mean ‘following traffic laws’ then yeah.” Lucifer just scoffs, “Look, Lucifer.” he looks at you with a bit of interest, he’s never heard you sound serious before.
“I understand how you’re feeling right now, I do,” you lightly touch his arm, “but Chloe has told me how you get sometimes and let me tell you: threatening to tear this guy up or torture him is not going to help you get LUX back, or this case.”
“Very well.” He returns his hand to your lower back and guides you, “I solemnly promise that the man will remain unthreatened and unharmed.”
The sound of a crash and a car alarm blaring causes you both to stop and turn around.
Eric Cooper lays on top of some poor civilian’s car. His body bleeding from almost every pore.
“Not me.” Lucifer holds up his hands in fake surrender.
“Well, shit.”

You did miss solving cases. Really, you did.
But this one was turning into a real sack of ass.
Eric Cooper was hospitalized for a full twenty-four hours before the hospital allowed his wife, Christi Cooper, to take him home.
A whole twenty-four hours closer to Lucifer's homelessness, and he would not shut up about it.
You and Lucifer arrive at the Cooper house to question Eric and Christi, but all you two got was another real estate shark’s name, Eleanor Bloom. Plus an extra case of nausea for both of you at the sappy love between Eric and Christi.
Eleanor, it turns out, was a real shark. Making sure Eric wasted no time in selling her that property that his father had been sitting on. That property in question was LUX, and even with Lucifer’s charm she was not giving up that land.
Which pissed Lucifer enough to abandon you with this case. Chloe offered to help, but with her father’s killer’s court so close there was no way you were going to burden her even more. You already swore you would solve this case for her, and you meant it.
You follow up on Eleanor's lead, alone, about some shady numbers found in her accountant's books that looked like someone was hiding money. Turns out that money went to some private investigator Dean had hired to investigate someone, but the man wouldn't tell you who. You had a hunch though.
Your hunch had to be put on hold though as one of your officers comes up to you. He says they got a call about an illegal party happening at a building that was supposed to be abandoned by now.
Of course he would.

You stand before the “supposed to be abandoned” LUX nightclub with an entourage of your officers, and just sigh.
Here we go.
You have your men walk in first with you close behind, and you can hear the music cut off and people booing as soon as they see your men.
“Awww!” You hear Lucifer’s voice clearly over the crowd, “Stormtroopers have arrived, everyone! Don’t worry I’ll deal with the boys in blue.” Lucifer walks towards the officers, “You are the boys in blue, yes? The fun boys in blue aren’t due for another hour.” He chuckles and shows a wad of cash in front of your main guy, Officer Miller.
Miller just gives Lucifer a side smile and looks to his side. Lucifer follows his eye movement and his smile disappears as you walk up.
“K9?”
“I know him, Miller. I got it from here.” You ignore Lucifer and look to your officer.
“You’re sure ma’am?”
“Oh yeah.” Now you look at Lucifer as you pat Miller on the shoulder, “He’s harmless.” You don’t speak again until all the officers have left, “I got to say Lucifer, I’m disappointed.”
You think your eyes might be deceiving you, but Lucifer Morningstar actually looks ashamed. You don't know why, but you actually can’t stand to see him like that.
“I mean,” you throw your hands up and turn around a full 360, “this is the first time I come to your club and you’ve got no music playing, and no one dancing around with no worries?”
You smile at him, cross your arms and raise a brow, “Tisk tisk. I may have to leave a one-star review afterall.”
“Oh ho ho!” Lucifer's light returns in him, “Well, I can’t have that now can I?” He’s smiling ear to ear now, “TURN IT UP!”
The crowd cheers as the music comes back full blast. Everyone resumes their dancing, drinking, laughing, and you can’t help but laugh right along with them.
“K9!” You turn to Lucifer who gives you that beautiful smile, “I didn't know you had it in you!”
“There’s a lot you don't know about me, Lucifer.” You smile back at him.
“Evidently! Come on,” Lucifer grabs your arm and pulls you to the dance floor.
“Oh no, I really shou-”
“Come on, K9!” Lucifer laughs and drags you to the dance floor, “Show me all I don't know!”

“Oh, now that’s interesting.” Linda watches you and Lucifer dance away together.
“What is?” Mrs. Charlotte Richards, well actually the body of Charlotte Richards that now belongs to the Goddess of all Creation [aka God’s ex-wife and Lucifer’s mother], looks down at the tiny doctor.
“Oh, nothing much.” Linda looks at her and gives a small smile before turning her attention back on you two, “I just thought of something I have to ask a patient of mine about.”
As Linda drinks her martini the Goddess follows her eye line sight and stares at you dancing with her son. Her eye twitches.
“My son was right about you, Doctor.” The Goddess smiles wickedly, “You are incredibly insightful.”

How strictly do you follow canon? — with yuna being a fandomless original character; it is rather hard to strictly follow canon; first of all, one has to define what canon means & that would be, in yuna’s case, the story that i have previously written before writing on Tumblr with her as my muse. i do try to stick to it, however, i always leave enough room for her to develop, otherwise, it would be just plain boring, wouldn’t it ? with that said; she already has developed a few characteristics that might be deemed out of character within the canon material
SELL YOUR MUSE! Aka try to list everything, which makes your muse interesting in your opinion to make them spicy for your mutuals. — she is a character with several layers; meaning, you will always get to know a different side of her, the more you interact. yuna is an outcast, though, you might not notice it at first. she’s really strong & her species is still rather unknown; many abilities might have not been uncovered yet. her mission is to destroy humanity, though, will she do it ? she works as a hitman within a secret organization that is more than meets the eye. she is ACTUALLY not a true descendant of lilith. she is old & has seen & experiences MANY things.
Now the OPPOSITE, list everything why your muse could not be so interesting (even if you may not agree, what does the fandom perhaps think?). — She is way too stubborn & it takes AGES to form a real relationship with her; so petty & weak-willed when it comes to her own desires; way too set on her own belief; the whole humanity-is-bad stick gets old quick; her being paranoid about every SINGLE thing; her whole concept is less about her own power but more about the control of said power & how she deals with her being pressured into the position she is
What inspired you to rp your muse? — i love mythology & the lore within Christianity (mainly the characters, stories; def more a fan of the “evil” stuff ) i love horror; i love paranormal stuff & if you combine everything, you have yunaeisha & her sisters. the lore ( which is massive & yuna’s story plays within present-day while most of it plays in the past) is something i hold dear to my heart; i worked on it for many years, since approx. 2014-2015. yuna embodies a lot of the pain of my previous characters; not knowing her place in the universe while KNOWING that you have to function within this society that deems you’re not a part of them, either. she’s honest & a bad bitch with a very soft side; i love her a lot & she’s grown so much. my love for her inspired me & how much more i wanted to flesh her out.
What keeps your inspiration going? — I constantly find new stuff that i could implement within yuna; i dream A LOT about my characters, actually, & i always try to put some material of those dreams into her. i love russia as a land; the language, the clothes, the cities. i love mythology; i love her aesthetic & i always find something that could be of use. simply going outside & watching people interact makes me think instantly; how would yuna react ? how would she talk ? i try to keep her as real possible & thus, i constantly think about her.

Are you a sensitive person? YES / NO.
Do you accept criticism well about your portrayal? — I am quite the sensitive person when it comes to HARSH criticism; when someone just comes to me to talk about how badly i portray yuna, then i’m gonna be sad about it. however, i do accept people that give me constructive ideas like; maybe it could be better if you did ... instead of .... ? i have NOTHING against it. i never received it, though, so i’m not 100 percent sure about it. though, i’d love to think that i’d be even more motivated to better her.
Do you like questions, which help you explore your character? — I rarely get question but i’d love if some more flew in; LET THEM BE IC QUESTIONS EVEN !! i had some muses be invested in yuna, but the more the merrier so OF COURSE !!!
If someone disagrees to a headcanon of yours, do you want to know why? — yes, please !! if you think a headcanon might clash with another or you think, it might be really out of character or just generally unfitting for yuna; TELL ME !! i sometimes forget some minor headcanons, though, they can play a MAJOR role sometimes; if you become aware of that, please tell me. also, if you just generally don’t agree with it, PLEASE also tell me; i’m a really open-minded person & i’d love to hear your point of view.
If someone disagrees with your portrayal, how would you take it? — if someone disagrees; alright, then so be it. all people think differently; you can’t please everyone. yuna is my characters, however, her concept, of being half-demon, half-goddess, the child of lilith, has been done before & thus, i know some might not agree how i portray yuna within that concept & that’s okay; though, if you outright HATE on it; why ? if you think you can do it better; make your own lore & character but don’t hate on anyone. with that said, i personally don't have anything gainst people disagreeing; that’s just how life works; we can’t agree on everything.
If someone really hates your character, how do you take it? — i’d be taken aback at first because of course, as the creator of yuna, i love her dearly. though, i could understand why; she does MANY things that are considered problematic & has no remorse, whatsoever; she seems very self-centered & almost toxic to some & i GET that’s not everyone’s cup of tea; however, she’s not ONLY that but it takes times to get through that layer; i understand not everyone likes such muses. it’s okay, i don’t mind it but don’t HATE on her, aggressively ?? telling me how shitty she is or how much she sucks, is not really nice, & i know she often sucks, you don’t have to tell me twice.
Are you okay with people pointing out your grammatical errors? — YES PLEASE !! i’m human, english is actually my third-language & i still make a lot of errors; probably did some in this post as well lmao. but seriously, if you see it & you feel like correcting it; PLEASE DO !! or just shoot me a quick message, saying that you have noticed that i OFTEN make a specific error. it helps a lot !! thank you.
Do you think you are easy going as a mun? — no, definitely not! i hyperfixate a lot, meaning that i have this uncontrollable urge to just do one thing; or speak to one person or play a certain game; it messes up my social life a lot because i sometimes go months without talking to my best friends, though, they don’t mind because they’re used to me “ignoring” them. i also dislike convos that lead to nothing, even within real life; i like topic-related conversations & not just the plain “hey” & “how are you”’s. though, let me state one thing; if we have talked before & i was very open with you; I LOVE YOU! i’m not “ignoring” you on purpose or because i stopped liking you or something; it’s just me being dumb. so, if you want to talk, plot, have an idea, want to ship, ANYTHING !! shoot me a message, please, I BEG YOU !!! i hardly reach out first & that makes me seem unapproachable; i’m aware of that & i’m so sorry, i’m working on it! but other than that; i’m a person that you can talk to about everything ! politics; anime; mythology; pop-culture; roleplaying; i love it all !! i may not know the topic at first but i love learning & i’m willing to listen at all times !! also i love listening to people gush about their characters or just plotting stuff; ITS GREAT !! so, this is an invitation for you to come plot with me 8^)
