since i've been tinkering with my 3ds more lately i noticed that the battery is not nearly as good as it used to be. but i thought "well at least the battery isn't too difficult to replace. just have to get a new one and take the back plate off and swap them." and i thought, gee, most stuff today sure doesn't make battery replacement easy. out of curiosity i check the difference on ifixit.
I've had this Amitie 3D model sitting on my PC for like 3 years now and kept meaning to show it off. Here she is! It's a lil scuffed in some spots but I still really like it.
Here's the link to download the files! I originally made it for Tower Unite and someone else already ported it to VRChat. If you wanna do anything else with it, please feel free! Just credit me however's easiest and PLEASE let me know 'cause I'm always curious.
Hey folks, with a few friends, I made a cute little platformer where you use summons to navigate levels. We made this in 72 hours for the Ludum Dare game jam!
Side Order Pearl is finally done and outta the way! These upcoming days I plan on uploading some of my recent models to VRC, just a couple of tweaks I gotta do before they're 100% ready. After Acht, Crossbones, and Pearl are uploaded I'll update my avatar world for this month.
i can't really be bothered to format this prettily, but for the curious-- here's a beastie i made i don't think i ever got around to posting.
sculpted in zbrush, retopoed in blender by hand like a masochist, baked in substance, and textured by hand in photoshop. final model comes in at a neat 53.6k faces / 107k tris, though it goes down to 36.7k faces when you pull out the light squigglies.
my second ever done model. only screenshots, bec laptop is too weak to render ;;
the model is of my fan Lunacid character, Snail!!! (name includes the !!!)
the goal here was to repeat Lunacid's artstyle. I was doing pretty good at the start, yet at the end I started to lose patience since the mistakes I did while modeling (and not knowing how to unwrap properly) made this quite annoying. regardless I really enjoyed the process and I hope when I have more time I'll be able to do models like this!
