Thoughts I had about Captain John Price as a dad
i wrote this while keeping an entirely straight face because I was out with my parents :) and they put up with a lot, but I doubt they'd be able to come to terms with the fact that I am currently simping over pixels
-absolutely calls his kids (especially his daughters) Precious. Like they fall while learning to ride their bikes? "C'mon precious. What do we do if we fall? We wipe our tears and get back up to try again. That's my girl."
-Is proud of the good that he's done, but never ever wants his kid to follow in his footsteps by joining the military. He can't even consider the thought of his precious kids being out in the kind of danger he's been in
-wants to keep his kids as safe and innocent as possible because god damn he knows how shitty the world is. But he's a straight shooter. he won't bullshit his kids.
-Wants to be stern if they do something wrong, but just.. just look at them honey they're so god damn sweet. How can I punish that face? You're gonna have to be the stern parent.
-Him getting all up in arms when one of your kids comes home from school upset. literally almost breathing fire as you try to calm him down. You haven't even heard what was wrong so how can he fix it if he doesnt know what the problem is. you leave him huffing and puffing downstairs and go up to your kid's bedroom to see what happened
-will blush and secretly enjoy you teasingly calling him papa bear once the situation is resolved
