“I love you.” You said quietly, kissing Peter's lips. He smiled, looking at you with adoration in his eyes and wrapped his arms around you.

“I love you too.” He kissed you again and again as you giggled, happy.

“I have to go.” You said. “My father is waiting for me in the car.”

“Okay.” He said, kissing you one last time before letting you go. “I love you.” He repeated and you whispered it back to him before quickly walking toward your father's car.

“So, how long have you two been together ?” Gwen asked, looking at Peter with big interested eyes.

“Huh ?” He jumped, he hadn't heard her arrive, too focused on you leaving.

“You and [Name].” She laughed. “Since when are you dating him ?”

“Uh.” He brought his right hand to his lips, chewing lightly on his thumb. “We're not… We're- We're not dating.” He said with a nervous chuckle.

“Oh, come on. I've seen the way you look at each other. Like he's some angel coming down from heaven. Don't worry he looks at you the same.”

“W- what ? We don't…” He shook his head. “He's just a friend.”

Gwen raised an eyebrow, clearly amused.

“Do you kiss all your friends on the lips like that ?”

Peter, panicking, continued to laugh nervously.

“We didn't- We just- You saw wrong, it was the angle. It looked like we were kissing but we weren't.”

“Oooh…” She nodded. “That's weird because a lot of angles do that with you two.”

“Ahah… Oh yeah ? Weird. Huh… that's- he's part French. They kiss each other for greetings, he likes… to do that…”

“Oh yeah ? On the lips ?”

“Cheeks ! On the cheeks. It was on the cheeks.”

“Damned angles that made it look like you're kissing him on the lips, am I right ?”

“Yeah, tell me about it.” He frowned with a laugh, throwing back his bag on his shoulders.

“It's cute. You two, I mean. A bit too down bad for each other though, but still.” She said more quietly.

“Ahah yeah we're not- we're still not dating.”

“Oh yeah, right, sorry, my bad. I meant, whatever french thing you two have together.”

“There's no… French thing. Just… friends.” He smiled awkwardly.

“Right, right. Like those friends that end up living together for years. Historians say they were just friends.”

“Gwen…” He shook his head. “There's really nothing.” He laughed. “But I'm starting to believe you want us to be a thing.”

“If you're not a thing already, which I highly doubt with the suspicious French angles, then, yes, just get together already.” She nodded with a smile as Peter sighed, running a hand through his hair.

“We aren't, Gwen. And we won't.” He said, leaving. “Bye !”

“Maybe next time don't kiss in public ! And don't make me take pictures of you two !” She yelled, watching him disappear.

You entered your house and went to your room, planning to finish the book you had started a few days ago. Only for Peter to barge in through the window.

“She knows !” He whispers-yelled, looking at you with big eyes.

“Hi again.” You chuckled. “Who knows what, babe ?” You said, eyes still on your book as you yawned.

“Gwen, about us.”

You immediately closed your mouth, looking at him. You quickly stood up, throwing your book on the bed.

“How does she know ? Did you tell her ?”

“No !” He almost looked offended by your question. “Why would I come here if I did ?”

“Is she spying on us ?” You asked, looking out the window before closing the curtains.

“She saw us kiss. Several times.” He said and you scoffed.

“Wh- what ? Us kissing ? Ah ! Ahah !” You began to laugh

“She's not here.”

“I know I was practicing. Was it good ?”

“You're part French.”

“I'm part what !?”

“It was really good, a bit less disgust in your voice, maybe.”

“I swear to God if I have to raise my grades in French, Peter, you're dead.”

“I—” Student B gets cut off by Student A.

"Hm? Whatever could you mean by that, Kalim?"

"You called Y/N names."

"Names? Oh, that? I'm afraid we were simply saying the truth, though. Almost everyone agrees."

"Look, I'm not sure where you heard that, but Y/N is far from what you guys think."

"She's a hard-working, earnest, and sincere person."

"She never seduced anyone."

"She managed to form the connections and friendships she has by communicating with them, helping them, and just being herself."

"And that's why I love her."

You just got done with your potionology class and were walking towards the cafeteria.

You were about to turn the corner until you heard a familiar voice.

"-nd that's why I love her."

Kalim's voice.

Thud

'Ah, it seems that I really stand no chance'

'He already loves someone else.'

"Hm? Oh! Y/N!"

Panicking, you quickly run away, leaving behind your book that you accidentally dropped. "Hey, wait up! You dropped your book!" Kalim runs after you.

After a bit of running, Kalim eventually caught up to you.

He taps your back and says, "Hey, why'd you run away?"

Sniffle

"H-hey..Are you..Crying?"

"What's wrong?"

You stay silent.

After what felt like an eternity, a different voice spoke up.

"Kalim? Y/N? What are you guys standing in the middle of the corridor? You guys are blocking people's way."

You quickly hide your face in your hands.

Awkwardly, Kalim speaks up, "A-Ah, Jamil, can you please prepare us some food?"

"Mm..Alright. C'mon." Jamil leads the way to the Scarabia mirror.

After Jamil finishes preparing your guys' meals, he turns to leave the room.

Kalim mouths to Jamil, "Thank you."

"Just talk whatever it is out" he mouths back.

Creak

Shut

Kalim clears his throat. "Y/N. Can you tell me what's wrong?"

"'m tired..I hate this place..The bullying, the overblots, that irresponsible headmage, and my home being taken away from me. I'm tired, Kalim."

Upon hearing this, Kalim engulfs you in a hug.

He doesn't say anything. He just listens attentively.

It felt warm. Like a comfortable blanket embracing you and protecting you from the harsh reality.

After calming down a bit, you move away from the hug.

You felt tempted to lean back into his embrace, but that would be too selfish. It would be unfair to Kalim.

But little do you know that Kalim himself had to stop himself from wrapping you in his arms once again.

"Kalim, I hope you'll be happy with her."

"Her?"

"I mean, the person you love. Obviously, I heard you talking about it earlier." You chuckle, although it sounds strained.

"Hmm, well, I'm always happy with you!"

"Eh?" You pause.

'Did I hear that wrong..?'

"Ahah..I think I heard you wrong, Kalim."

"Heard what wrong? It's true! I'm always happy when I'm together with you!" He gives his signature bright smile that could rival even the sun itself.

'Me..Her..Happy..'

'Wait!'

"Y-you mean me?! You like, no, love me!?" You blush.

"Of course! Who else would I love?"

It was then that you noticed how his eyes seemed to shine so bright; he's looking at you only, all his attention on you, as if nothing else matters right now but you.

"Oh right! Let's eat before the food gets cold!"

"Yeah..!" You turn to the already cold food. 'Oh well, Jamil's food is the best, so I'm sure it still tastes good'

A while later..

"I didn't expect you to confess so bluntly."

"Hm? Wait, what?"

'..I just basically confessed twice. This is so embarrassing!' He blushes

AAH! I have an Idea for Grey's Anatomy Mark Sloan x fem reader!

Here is the idea!

Fem reader went into the Military and had to go across seas. Her and Mark haven't seen each other in 10 months and after 10 months reader gets to go back home, but she doesn't tell mark. Instead she asks Derek and Meredith to help her surprise him. So as soon as his shift ends Mere and Derek tell him that they urgently need him for a patient who has a "heart" condition (the condition being she misses him). When Mark gets to the surgical room his girlfriend (reader) is standing in the middle of the room.

The first thing you did the morning of your return was call Meredith.

These ten months have felt like an eternity away from all the people you cared about, you missed them all so much. Of course, you loved your job, it made you feel like never before, but the most difficult thing was certainly not having the people you loved most with you.

Meredith was so happy for the news of your return. When you called her, you made sure she didn't tell Mark.

Oh God, that's the only thing you've never stopped thinking about. Every day helped you move forward stronger. It was so sad when you had to leave, it was the only reason you ever wanted to stay. You promised him that you would come back as soon as possible, and finally that day had come.

You planned a surprise that would make him very happy. Meredith and Derek would drive you to the hospital as soon as Mark started his surgery so he wouldn't see you.

All this time he had been just stressing those poor two. He kept insisting that you'd already gotten over him or started a new life with someone else. In short, it had become completely unbearable. But that meant that someone had finally really made him fall in love, and that someone was you.

After you got a text from Derek that they were on their way, you started getting ready. You took your sexiest dress out of your closet and put it on. It wasn't actually an over top dress, but he loved the effect it had on you.

You put the lipstick and a little makeup, not too much, but enough to make you even more presentable, and gave your hair a little touch-up.

"Damn, I look hot!" you said looking in the mirror.

You smiled at your reflection, grabbed your things, and walked over to Derek's car.

You got in sitting on the back seats.

"Hey, you're really-"

"Yes yes, now- just go!" you said interrupting Meredith and rushing Derek to leave. Oh, you couldn't wait to see him.

"So Mark won't see me?" you asked one last time to be sure before getting out of the car.

"No, he's finishing his surgery. We have booked another operating room, no one else will be able to use it, and later Meredith will call him and tell him that there will be another urgent case that we need him" you smiled and hugged both of them.

"Have I ever told you how much I love you?" they laughed.

"Well, go!" Meredith said smiling at you. You went out greeting and thanking them, and ran towards the hospital entrance. You went looking for the hall and entered.

You sat on the operating table, waiting. Wow, it was strange to be in an empty and silent operating room. Almost creepy...

"What's happening?!" you heard Mark's voice, he seemed confused not understanding what Meredith wanted to tell him. Then you saw him. And he saw you.

You stood up as he stood in front of you in the sink area. He took off his scrub cap and immediately entered the room.

"Mark-" you didn't even have time to smile at him or finish the sentence that the first thing he did as soon as he was in front of you was kissing you. It was a long kiss, and it was so intense that it was as if there was nothing for you anymore. He put his hands in your hair as you put your arms around his neck.

Neither of you could have ended that moment, but a few minutes later you snapped back to reality.

You opened your eyes smiling at him.

"Please just tell me that this isn't a dream cause you appeared here like a Godness..." his smile widened even more and his tone was still incredulous. "Well I've already dreamed you some nights ago..." He added making you laugh.

"It's everything real" you gave him another little kiss.

"When did you arrive?"

"This morning, I couldn't wait to see you" you said looking into his light blue eyes.

"Meredith knew it and didn't tell me?! Wait, you didn't tell me!" he said in a slightly offended tone still laughing as he put his hands on your hips bringing you closer to him.

"I wanted to surprise you"

"God, how much I love you" he hugged you picking you up, making you put your legs around his waist, and he started kissing you again.

"I love you too, and I missed you so much" you stopped the kiss to tell him.

"I don't know how I've been without you all these days" He made you on the table and took a moment to look at you better, sweeping his gaze up and down your entire body. "And you're hotter than I remembered..." you laughed shaking your head.

"I don't want you to leave me alone all this time anymore" he said caressing your cheek.

"You know I'm part of the military, there will be other departures..." just the thought saddened him.

"Ok, it means that I'll have to enjoy every single moment with you..." he moved closer to you holding you and placing his lips against yours again, always in a passionate and pleasant way. You loved him so much, every second of this moment and every time you were together was precious.

V (reading a book on the couch with her feet up): "What are you two giggling about over there? It's suspicious and I don't like it." Misty (cuddling with Jackie on the opposite end of the couch): "Oh, we decided to make you a dating profile." V (initial confusion followed by a bit of rage): "A dat… The fuck?" Jackie (with the laptop): "You need some action, hermana." V: "No. Absolutely not. Delete that shit right now." [Jackie gives V his best puppy dog eyes.] V (waiting a moment): "Uggh. Fine… I'm gonna regret this." Jackie: "Heh, wasn't actually sure that was gonna work." (straightening himself out to look more serious) "Nickname?" [V gives Jackie a bombastic side eye.] Jackie: "Oh right!" (Types the letter as he says it) "V." Misty: "Height?" V: "5ft 3in." Jackie: "Gender?" V: "Seriously, Jack?" Jackie: "What? I don't know if there's anything left of my parents over there but I guess I'm curious." Misty: "I'd love to go back to Poland one day. Favorite fictional character?" V: "Probably… Edmond Dantes from The Count of Monte Cristo. It was one of my mom's favorites." Misty: "Number of blankets you sleep with?" V: "Zero or one… It's just too damn hot." Misty: "Aaand last one." V: "Oh thank god." Misty: "A fun fact?" V: "Uhhh. I guess… I enjoy retro video games?" Misty: "OK. Published." V: "Now will you two leave me be?" Hi I saw you were doing matchups so I wanted to you try it out lol!

So some basic stuff I go by Aj I’m a trans guy who uses he/they pronouns, while I do have a small preference to girls or well just anyone falling under a feminine label I am open to about anyone! I want the matchup to be romantic and would prefer Husk and Angel to be excluded (I picture Husk as a father and I ship him and angel so be kinda weird lol)

For personality and what not I’m similar to Niffty in the whole absolutely chaotic kinda way but only with the people I know and trust, I’m very kind and while I’ll jokingly make fun of people I make sure they’re okay with it and aren’t actually uncomfortable. At first I’m very quiet and reserved (at most one or two comments) but after opening up it’s hard to get me to stop talking lol I’m also very sarcastic and make a lot of dirty jokes. Likes and dislikes is kinda hard, I like collecting plushies like a lot I could be compared to the “weird kid” (I love fnaf, batim, Beetlejuice, tadc, a lot more) I will say I absolutely love like physical touch and what not though I hate asking for things or starting something. My hobbies mainly include making art and what not I focus on visual art though I do like writing and acting a lot as well, I also love picking something up like a book or movie and just never finishing it lol! Tbh I don’t really have a type besides “sad but bad boy” and even then that’s not really a type lol. But yeah I uh think that’s it have an amazing day/night!

Charlie is sunny, optimistic, and just the right person who would allow you to come out of your initial shell. She loves both your kindness and how chaotic you are, and I’m sure she would be very proud of herself for being able to let you open up quickly and witness your true personality; she loves a talkative and affectionate friend, even more so if they end up becoming her partner.

She absolutely loves the fact that you like collecting plushies, in fact she’s a big fan of them herself! She insists on giving a name to each one of them, and if they already have one she wants to know the story behind them at all costs. She also surprises you with one of them from time to time, I feel like she would be at least a bit into gift-giving, and when you inevitably end up sleeping in the same bed she doesn’t want to exclude any of your plushies, resulting in you two sleeping completely surrounded by them!

Charlie is quite the creative person herself, in her own way: she likes musicals and singing, so if the things you’re into have some sort of fan songs or anything like that, she would enjoy learning them and getting into your own interests in general. She also loves anything that you make and showers you in compliments each time you show her one of your creations, which makes you blush a little. She also insists on showing the other residents of the Hotel, but it’s up to you if you want to do that or not, she totally understands if you’d rather keep your art private and in that case she’d feel honoured to be one of the lucky ones who gets to see it.

She encourages you to finish the things you start watching or reading, too! Mostly because she loves doing these activities with you, and she really wants to know what happens at the end...but she also feels guilty finishing them on her own, so if you’re looking for somebody who keeps you excited and entertained when you get into anything, she’s the right demon!

She’s also quite affectionate, hugging you, holding your hand and kissing your cheek whenever she gets the chance, so she doesn’t really mind that you’re not into initiating these kind of things as she will do it herself, as long as you let her know you enjoy it!

All in all you and Charlie definitely have a best friends to lovers kind of relationship, and if you’re wondering how this affects Vaggie (in case you’d be comfortable being in a poly relationship) I can actually see you two being on good terms, she agrees with you and Charlie dating wholeheartedly as I see you two getting along quite well, too!

When my notebook was finished, my mother brought me another one, but most of the sheets were not stapled and I did not even have a normal notebook

I'm a chapter into A Ballad of songbirds and snakes, and it's so good already. I'm a little surprised it's not in first person anymore but I prefer it this way

I don't have much of an opinion on Snow yet but it's interesting to see his upbringing, quite different from what I imagined

The most compelling thing to me is how the Capitol people are described, quite different from what we saw in the main trilogy: we see how they've been affected by the war and they're def not as lavish and shallow as their descendants. You almost understand why they built the Hunger games ahah

I'm sold already, I'm finishing this book. It's fun to have something new THG related after rereading the trilogy

And OF COURSE the person he is going to mentor is a girl from District 12. Peak fiction

GOOD QUESTION. i used to have a lot of plans with my favorite fics but im not really into dsmp/dteam anymore for. various reasons that i will not get into :|. and so most of my plans with fan binding fell to the wayside jhgbfhdjbhjd thats okay though!! because it means i can make new plans!!

obviously, like i said - i would love to do a collection of shorter one shots! still mostly dsmp lol but i got quite a few gift fics from my friends from that fandom and i would LOVE to compile those into a collection for myself!! really just. my friends' fics in general, i think would be fun to have like a short story collection that i can just read whenever. i would wanna break them up into individual fandoms, i could almost do like, a series for myself... that would be AWESOME oh my god. matching covers but with different inner art? SO COOL

if i had to make a plan off the top of my head for just ONE fic though... id love to bind elephants by saltsanford, a rvb tuckington fic (not linking since it IS an explicit fic haha), its been one of my favorite fics ever for YEARS now. i think that would be pretty minimalist since it has an aesthetic of like, snow? and id want to fit that lol but its SO GOOD and i love to read it and id love to have a pristine physical copy of it on my book shelf!!

FOR DNDADS FICS. chrysalis by @kaseyskat, probably!!! literally has been one of my favorite dndads fic ever since i read it, i come back to it so often. it was my introduction to the world of transfem sparrow (and transmasc norm, though i had already decided that for myself LMAO) and well. we all know that i love her <3 very fond memories of rereading this fic several times to get through my thesis LMAO i would love love love to make myself a physical copy of it :D i could use really pretty paper and i think it would fit a nice green book cloth cover SOOOO nicely. itd be amazing (especially now that nyx and i are friends. makes it even more special, ehehe).

alternatively, father-son grocery shopping which I JUST REALIZED WAS WRITTEN BY @trustycustard??? MY FRIEND AND GRAMPA TRUSTY??? HOW DID I NEVER NOTICE THAT. HUH. WHAT. I WAS GONNA LIST THAT FOR AN EXAMPLE BY A DNDADS WRITER IM NOT BUDDIES WITH BUT NEVERMIND I GUESS 😭😭 whatever im playing favorites I WOULD BIND MY FRIENDS' FICS!!! sorry for being surrounded by such amazing and talented people.

and once its finished (/if!!! i dont like the idea of pressuring fic writers to finish their works, god knows i never do), absolutely silver linings by chalcedony. even if it doesnt get finished, honestly. i dont make it a secret that it is my all time favorite dndads fic ahah THERE. Top 5 favorite video games

Gonna rate these as a combo of personal enjoyment, challenge, and nostalgia. Honestly, I'm not a HUGE gamer beyond the few things I've gotten fixated upon, so a lot of my titles are pretty basic.

5) Stardew Valley- A more recent addition to the list, since I've only started playing this in earnest fairly recently, but it's already given me so much enjoyment that I have to give it a spot. Endlessly full of life and lore when you dig into it. Very relaxing.

4) Portal 2- This game gave me some of the biggest laughs I've ever gotten out of anything from this medium- and probably one of the greatest "o h" moments of realizations I've ever had while working through a boss battle... folks who have played this game, you know what I'm talking about, ahah. (Also, J.K. Simmons my beloved <3)

3) Super Mario Galaxy- If I knew what fandom was when I was in third/fourth grade, then this game would've been my first true fandom hyperfixation. There was a point in time where I had the guide book for this game entirely memorized. This was the first game that I was able to beat completely by myself when I was a kid, and also the first game that I (more recently, when the All Stars Mario gamepack came out for the Switch) played to 100%, which is neat. Playing as both Mario AND Luigi. (I later went on to 100% the next title on the list, which is-)

2) The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild- An obvious choice for my list! I only discovered this game in 2020, but it has quickly become one of my favorites, and I inevitably end up replaying it every few months. I've done the 100% game file once (which, yes, means finding all the korok seeds), and my god... it was such a satisfying journey to reach that goal! The characters and story within this game bring me so much joy every day, and I am so deeply thankful for all the amazing friends I've met through our mutual love of LoZ. <3

BUT, because of the sheer nostalgia factor, I must say that my all-time favorite game is:

1) Blinx: The Time Sweeper- A seriously slept upon classic. Probably one of the most difficult games I've played, EVER. I haven't even finished the entire thing by myself- the boss rush at the very end is so brutal I haven't gotten through it yet. As a kid, I had to get my mother's help on the rush before working through the FINAL boss on my own. But g o d... the music in this game slaps so hard, and it has some of the most interesting mechanics and puzzles I've ever seen in a game, even still. This game infested my thoughts for so long when I was a kid, to the point where I was outright drawing my own OCs for the world and coming up with fanfiction in my head before I knew what fanfiction even was. The concepts were just so rife for the imagination that it was hard to resist bouncing around with le' brain worms XD

Please do me a favor of vibing with this seriously cool as balls music, though, because holy SHIT it's such a bop-

I wasnt a big fan of literature myself or… I was, I don’t really have much recollection of my childhood if I’m being honest. Lolita is such a misunderstood book and the publishers don’t make it any better with they hyper sexualized covers of little girls, it truly disgusts me- It’s funny you mentioned this book because I talked about it the other day,, I know how vicious children can be, especially if they’ve been raised to think that difference is a synonym of enemy. I really hope she’s doing better today, she sounds like an extraordinary person ! To get inspired is to construct one’s self so, I’m glad you crossed paths with someone like her !

I completely agree about recent book covers of Lolita, the first time I got that book I was so embarrassed of seeing such sexual acts. I immediately understood why all copies are still closed in plastic. The thing that makes me sad is the fact that this book is extremely infamous but it’s a piece of work in so many senses. I loved the writing style and the moments of how Lolita/Dolores was described by the protagonist. It's scandalous, grotesque, and it's a story that even today some people can relate to some extent. Isn't it the exact reason of why this book is still iconic and actual? Nabukov's intent was well portrayed. I hated it from the core. Oscar Wilde was such an iconic dandy and loved all his writings, really. The profundis have a special place in my heart. I never read an author so similar to me in so many ways and I feel less lonely in this ocean of my how struggles, blackouts. I’m jealous of the fact that you managed to get a 1st edition of the picture of Dorian Gray. Just how you even managed to do that? THAT’S INSANE. You basically have a saint grail in your collection. If you have some pictures I’d appreciate to see them very much.

Don’t worry if you write too much, I prefer to get long asks more than anything else. I’m in fact into penpalling. I’m a bit old fashioned, yes, it’s such an amazing hobby to freeze the brain. I’m studying game concept art. At first I liked it but I’m quite antisocial and talking to people isn’t exactly my forte, but I’m trying to improve and at least I can still work despite not being a talker. But at least I can submit my art assignment and receive opinions on it without too much trouble. I can’t wait to finish. Don’t get me wrong, I enjoy what I’m doing but I don’t particularly enjoy to work in the art industry. I prefer to draw for myself when I have time - never. Hi! Same anon from a long while ago who first asked about the Boromir fic and got that “dissertation” in return! You’ve got me in the mood to try to pick up the books again after catching up on the fic (I figured to wait a couple updates so I’d have more to read, but boy did I catch up fast :’) pretty much did just as the 16th landed) though I have not just yet.

But I am gonna try to watch the movies very soon! I’m very excited to experience Middle Earth through an OC lense, as I have quite not full time just yet. You’re one of my favorite authors, so I’m gonna be around for it fully AKDJAKS. I admire your tenacity, a tenth walker fic writing wise is so daunting to me. But I know you’ll be able to do it quite well, you’ve already caught me fully :)

Aaaa okay I finally have the chance to sit down and reply to this part properly -- thank you so much! The concept of being among someone's favourite writers is absolutely wild to me, but genuinely one of the highest compliments you could give me ahah, so that's going to have me smiling for the rest of the month. I'm rereading the books as I write, although I'm very far ahead in the books, currently at Helm's Deep, mostly highlighting bits of dialogue that would work for me to slip into the movie-verse.

But yeaaah, honestly it's daunting to me too! May or may not have had a little bit of a panic about the whole thing literally just last night 😎 the thing is, though, I'd never panicked so much over a project as I did with CTW and that ended up working out well, so I'm definitely learning that fear is a good indicator with these things. (And hopefully that bodes well for the novel, bc I'm terrified of that fucker). Doing it scared honestly adds to the pride of the finished product, I think. The ones where I go in thinking it'll be easy always end up crap and then abandoned.

It very much helps having the movies and the books to choose between, too - mostly because if I only had the books to go from, I'd never have been daft enough to try it 🥲

There won’t be. I’m sorry if you were hoping for that! The Patreon moment is meant to be entirely optional, it’s not something that gets you extra content in the main game.

Is the new CG artist the main one now? :0 I’ve noticed theres been a difference in the art style recently. Is the old CG artist still going to make art for the game? :0

The original artist still makes CGs for the game sometimes, but he mainly focuses on character sprites.

Are you going to put the NSFW our life moment on a website other than patreon? I would love to get it but I can't use patreon atm.

I don’t know. I'm afraid we can't release the Patreon Moment on a normal game storefront because we can't mix 18+ content with our family friendly game. If there's some other place similar to Patreon where it's not the normal type of full-scale public content releases we'd consider using that, but I’m not sure if there is another site that’s better than Patreon in that regard. I'm sorry.

Out of curiosity, in all of your games so far, which characters in each were the most fun to write? They obviously don't have to be your favorite characters!

I noticed a bug with the Patreon moment when it comes to what your character wears. When Jamie and Cove are kissing while my character only had dresses selected, I had both the option to remove the dress or to remove the shirt... Picking one of the options to interact with Cove, after he removed his shirt, it had Jamie remove their shirt followed by ther pants despite only having dresses picked.

I’m afraid things haven’t been changed or removed, so I think you might’ve accidentally picked the wrong things somewhere along the way and locked yourself out of being able to propose by mistake. Sometimes you meant to say you want to get married but instead you mis-click and have it so the MC isn’t thinking about marriage or something. All I can suggest is starting from the beginning of Step 3 and making sure to follow the steps listed in the FAQ. I’m sorry for that.

This is the same situation as the above. We didn’t remove things and you’re not wrong that there are sometimes those options. But there are various choices you have to make to get those options and it sounds like you accidentally missed something. If your relationship isn’t long-term, you can’t do it for example.

You get it by telling Cove about his dad offering you money to be his friend in Step 1 and Step 2. You can’t get both in one playthrough, since you can only tell Cove the truth once. I’m really glad you liked it!

If you save the save folder/persistent data of the game from your desktop and put it into the game folder on your other device, that could work.

Unfortunately, it’s not really something we have a plan for. We couldn’t finish the game if we tried to include every disability and have it be meaningful. It’d just be too much content to create. But if we decide to only include a few, how would we choose which disabilities get to be represented and which are left out? I don’t know. It’ll probably have to be something we don’t include as an option again, sadly. I’m sorry.

Honestly, I would like to thank Our Life for helping me come to terms with my sexuality. Before, I never would've actually thought that it was possible to like boys romantically and still be asexual. Almost all of the BL visual novels I've read had unskippable sexual content in them and it honestly just didn't click with what I feel. I'm glad I found Our Life. I love the game, the developers, and this fandom so much. Now, I can safely come out as homoromantic AND asexual (at least anonymously here anyway; my parents are still huge homophobes 😂).

Yeah, you can avoid the confession in Step 3 and then get it in Step 4.

Hm, did you use the Cove creator? Maybe there’s a bug where using the creator to add bracelets doesn’t fulfill the requirement to give Cove a bracelet in Step 3.

Wait, I'm dense, when does Baxter appear in step 2? Is it from big park firework? I feel so bad since i really love Baxter and waiting to buy his dlc.

It’s in the Soiree Moment. You have to be just friends with Cove, indifferent, or crushing but not ask Cove to the dance at all. Then while there you can find someone new to dance with. But if you bring Cove to the dance while crushing, the MC won’t wanna dance with anyone else so you can’t get the scene.

In step 2 when we go to the soiree I made my mc go alone and baxter chooses the mc to dance, i'm curious, why did he pick the mc? sorry if this has been asked before!

Because the MC looked to be around his age, seemed to also be searching for a partner, and had nice legs. A perfect option for him.

It happens in the DLC Moment “Late Shift”. If you don’t have a job you instead get a longer scene with Baxter.

I’m afraid I’m not sure what you mean. Are you asking how we programmed the screen or something script related? Adding Moments like that is pretty straightforward, though. You just have buttons that open to different labels and then the scripts are essentially individual short stories/vignettes. Good luck with your VN!

OL1 has the he/him LIs, OL2 is all about other genders.

I don't want to impose on your creative plans, but a parrot could possibly make a good pet in an OL-type game? They're pretty long-lived and likely to still be thriving by the end even if the MC got them back in step 1.

I do appreciate the suggestion, but I’m afraid it’s not likely going to happen. I understand there are technically some animals that could theoretically live long enough to last the whole game that or we could have the MC only get a pet after some years have already passed. But the many things that would have to be considered/accommodated for makes it just something we probably can’t manage adding. I’m sorry.

You can’t get Cove’s Step 3 confession scene if you have the family comfort you in the car. But that’s not the only way to date him. You can get together with him earlier in the game or later on in Step 4.

Is Mc always going to be the one walking down the aisle or could Cove do it? Also could you choose to have one of your moms walk you?

No. Cove wouldn’t want to walk down the aisle like that and the MC automatically respects that. And the MC also gets to have their preferences respected, so it’s up to you whether they want to do an aisle walk or not. You also can pick who, if anyone, walks with you.

Once step 4 is out, will you be able to go the whole game on crush/love without either of you confessing?

Yes, as long as you tell the game you don’t want to progress the relationship. Even in Step 4 it won’t force you to officially get together.

Nope. Cliff has a very small interest in sex. If he’s not in a real relationship with a partner he’s crazy about it simply isn’t something he feels a need for, so one night stands wouldn’t even cross his mind.

Maybe! There are side characters who could be given romance stories, but whether or not it will happen depends on funding and how long everything else takes to finish.
