‧₊˚ a / n : wasn’t intending on posting this but anyways, this shots turned out kinda cute so, would’ve been sad to keep them to myself, also putting them together because both follow the same scenario and have many similarities

the reader feeling toge’s cursed speech was largely inspired by this 🫶🏻

also don’t question the fact that they’re in an inn room instead of the infirmary or smth okay just go with the flow bye 😭

• 𝐌𝐄𝐆𝐔𝐌𝐈 𝐅𝐔𝐒𝐇𝐈𝐆𝐔𝐑𝐎

You and Megumi somehow managed to check in the room without much questioning. Entering an inn late at night looking like you just got beat up was definitely something that would raise the front desk lady’s eyebrows, but you figured you had just gotten lucky.

You closed your eyes and sighed, Megumi’s footsteps came closer. You were sitting in the kitchen counter, knees apart from each other so Megumi could stand in between and attend to your wounds just like you had done before with his. His fingers lifted your chin up so he could see better under the room’s dim light. He pressed an alcohol drenched cotton ball lightly over your left eyebrow, making you jolt.

“Ouch!”

“Sorry” he mumbled “I’m almost done.”

Your eyelids opened slowly, finding him close to you, his dark eyes fixed on your wound. You studied his face in the meantime, long lashes contrasting with his pale clear skin, yet blending with his black irises.

“Can’t believe after all this time of being friends we just had our first mission together.”

“I’m guessing Gojo wasn’t sure of what would work well for us”

“That’s not what I mean, I mean we did great!”

He scoffed in slight amusement.

“Yeah, I knew we would”

“You mean you knew because I kicked your ass the last time we sparred?” a cheeky smile appeared on your face.

“As far as I remember, I was declared the winner” he raised an eyebrow

“Small details, truthfully it was a tie.”

“Right…” Megumi decided to cut the conversation, focusing more on wiping dry blood from your skin.

Finally he exhaled, his hand moved away, examining your face carefully. A soft frown appeared on his face as his eyes fell on your lips.

“Did you cut your lip?”

“Oh? Not that I’m aware of, it doesn’t hurt.”

“It’s bloody.”

Megumi’s fingers on your chin tensed up, sliding the cotton ball over your lip and then discarding it. He tilted your head to the right, blinking and squinting. With the same hand he was holding your jaw, he swiped his thumb over the lower lip.

With widened eyes you stared at him, alarm bells suddenly going off in your head and your irregular breathing hitting his skin, his gaze fixed on the way your soft lip molded under his fingertip. Tangled thoughts raced in your head, trying to figure out the sudden change in the atmosphere and the accelerating pace of your beating heart.

“It’s not wounded” Megumi’s voice was barely audible and you noticed the way his body had just gotten as stiff as yours, probably gaining awareness of the context you were both were surrounded by: him in between your thighs, under the cover of dim lightning and the silence of the night, being the closest to one another you had ever been.

Dark eyes wandered over your mouth, following his thumb as it now slid to the other side. Hesitantly, he moved even closer until his lips hovered over yours. The anticipation that filled the room made sure to cut off both your breathing and his. But then, Megumi closed the distance between your mouths, lashes lowering and hidden feelings bursting out into the open. Megumi’s kiss was soft, and you made sure to reciprocate slowly, easing into the unknown sensation of kissing him.

When the kiss stopped he remained still. Your shaky hands slid up his shirt, fingertips grasping the fabric to keep him in place for as long as the sweet burning sensation sat on your guts. You weren't sure of what came over yourself, maybe it was the curiosity of having him as more than a friend. Maybe it was the thoughts that had constantly whispered at the back of your head how attractive you thought he was, the thoughts you had made sure to ignore and so you never acted on them. Maybe it was the thrill of crumbling his aloof and distant demeanor in between your hands.

Maybe it had been all of those things together, but you slightly and eagerly nudged your nose against his. And so he kissed you again, with a deep sigh of surrender and his hands roaming up your thighs. The sounds of kissing filled the kitchen, your tongue sliding across his tongue, his hungry mouth now fighting against your, your fists pulling from his shirt. His fingers squeezed your skin, a breathy exhale left your throat almost becoming a soft whine.

Megumi’s hands then settled on your hips, until he suddenly stopped, freezing in place and then pulling away from you to search for your eyes. You stared back in a bit of a daze.

“What…” the black haired sorcerer tried to form a coherent sentence, but it seemed like his brain for once wasn’t cooperating.

“I…” you cleared your throat, blinking a couple of times “I don’t know.”

He swallowed, trying to find words once again.

“Listen, I…”

“It’s okay” nervously you tightened your grip on his shirt, now anxious of letting him go “we don’t have to talk about this today or tomorrow. We can just… forget it happened.”

Slowly, Megumi nodded.

“We can just let it be… for tonight.”

“Yeah” you pulled him close again, his body relaxed as he followed your movement and searched for your lips once more.

“Yeah, just for tonight…”

• 𝐈𝐍𝐔𝐌𝐀𝐊𝐈 𝐓𝐎𝐆𝐄

Toge’s eyes followed you around as you picked and discarded objects from the first aid kit. At first he was annoyed at how much you had insisted on taking care of the wounds your last fight had inflicted, but at a certain point he had stopped complaining and just… stared. Now, you knew Toge wasn’t one to say much, because he couldn’t, but even when he didn’t say actual normal words he also wasn’t one to shut up. There was always some 'okaka's and 'tuna's and he would gesticulate here and there, he just had to let you know his opinion on absolutely everything. But now… he was absolutely silent.

You walked over to the kitchen counter, where he had sat down begrudgingly and now he was just lazily waiting.

“Bend over a little, will you?” you sighed, wet cotton in your hand.

His lavender eyes stared curiously, but he did as you asked and moved closer so you could reach for his face. There was a bloody scrape right next to his brow, product of a bad landing during the fight with the curse. You held your breath to gain courage and put aside your romantic feelings for the boy, then reached to cup his cheek with your left hand in order to keep him steady and started cleaning the almost dry blood.

He winced, a pitiful expression appeared on your face.

“Sorry” your voice softened “I’ll be finished soon, don’t worry, this is the last one.”

You expected him to say something, he would’ve usually just muttered a 'shake' or something, and yet he didn’t. When you were finally done you sighed once again, lowering your hands and grasping the edge of the counter.

“Alright, that’s it, why aren’t you speaking to me?” Toge raised a brow, as if your question was ridiculous to him “don’t look at me like that, you know what I mean.”

He pressed his lips against each other and then shrugged.

“Are you mad at me?” your brows almost touched, his eyes widened.

“Okaka” he immediately shook his head.

“Oh, so now you’re talking” he snorted, finally letting a small smile shine through “there’s something off, I can tell…”

He bit his lip and shrugged again, this time pointing to his head with his index.

“Thinking?”

“Shake”

“About what?”

His eyes seemed to shine in a peculiar way, trying to hold back a smirk. It was almost as if he had been waiting for you to ask that question for a while. Toge pointed at you, made a small heart with his index and thumb, and then pointed at himself. You blinked about twice, blankly.

“You’re thinking… about you and me?”

He squinted and motioned 'more less', then repeated the previous gesture: you, heart, him.

“You’re thinking…” you heart him. Suddenly your eyes widened, a blush rapidly crept up your face “you’re thinking i like you?”

Toge then grinned and nodded enthusiastically.

“Huh” you exhaled nervously, eyes shying away from him “right when i thought i was the best at understanding you seems like i still don’t get what is going on inside that head of yours.”

He chuckled, his right hand searched for his phone in his pocket and then quickly typed something up in the notes app. You just expectantly watched him as he conveyed his thoughts into written words.

“I’m not thinking you like me, i’m thinking i know you like me”

“Narcissistic much?” you quirked one of your eyebrows and he snorted “what makes you think that?”

“Just the way you look at me, and the way you act around me. Panda had pointed it out before but i’m just now thinking maybe he was right”

“I treat you just like all of my other friends!” you looked up at his eyes again, this time in defiance, but he tilted his head, raising his brows in disbelief “alright then, what have i done with you that i wouldn’t have done with anyone else?”

With a smile, Toge rubbed his cheek and then placed his index right on top of yours.

“Blushing?”

“Shake”

“You’re insinuating that I have romantic feelings for you, of course i’m gonna be embarrassed!”

Rolling his eyes, he nodded. Then, he cupped your left cheek, raising your face towards his and supporting your chin with his ring finger and pinky. You frowned, quickly catching up with the fact that he was holding your face in the same way you had done just moments before.

“… I was just taking care of you…” your whisper worsened your blush.

“always”

He chuckled at your shocked expression, the sound waves of his harmless words making you shiver. It wasn’t everyday that he’d risk speaking normally.

“… well, yes, i care for you”

“a lot” you bit your lip, there was no denying that, so you swallowed your nerves and looked away, he snickered “you’re cute”

Once again the surprise froze you, the power in his voice making your body tremble, what he had said made a sweet nervous feeling flutter around your stomach. He leaned in, you held your breath. Toge placed a lovely kiss on your lips, and you delicately but firmly kissed him back, the sliding of his lips on yours enticing and elating. A soft wave of cursed energy flowed through your mouth, but the moment he slid his tongue on your lower lip and you opened your mouth it rose in intensity. You had to cling from his shirt to keep yourself steady, the moment his marked tongue brushed against yours a sharp wave of electricity ran down your throat, pulling a whimper out from your vocal chords.

He pulled back to look at you and you panicked, embarrassed.

“I’m- oh god i’m so sorry!” your face was burning red at that point “it’s just that- i can feel your cursed energy.”

His eyes widened with surprise and worry, hopping off the counter his hands grabbed your shoulders.

“Takana?!”

“I’m fine! I’m totally fine” cupping his face you tried to comfort him, and it worked, he relaxed, but you pulled him closer again, your noses brushing “it felt… really nice…”

You lips searched for his, Toge smirked in amusement to your reaction, but he complied. So slowly, he kissed you again. The feeling of his energy running trough you seemed to make the blood in your veins rush in bliss, pulling sounds from the depths of your chest. Suddenly his hand slithered to the back of your head and he deepened the kiss, the mark on his tongue making contact with yours and making you gasp and jolt against his body. Toge giggled, but caught you in his arms, resting his back on the counter.

“Come on Toge, won’t you have mercy on me?” you complained, Toge shook his head slowly, and by the way he smiled you knew he was about to pull one of his stunts.

“Be louder” his lips immediately crashed back onto yours.

note (1): inspired by this ask. i literally do not know what this is !! i just know that i'm in a bit of a writing slump and i just wanted to post smth, so this is just word vomit lol. yes, i am aware that it is god awful ok bye

note (2): implied dancer!minho but not necessarily idol!minho bc i rarely ever write with them as idols in mind

you're used to late nights at the dance studio.

you often stop by after work and wait for minho to wrap up a session so you could go home together. sometimes, if it's a tougher choreo that he needs more time to really nail down, you'd bring him dinner and observe as he takes the extra hours to really study the movements.

you're sat in your usual corner tonight, watching your boyfriend with mesmerized eyes.

you've been watching him dance for years and yet, you're still blown away every time you see him in his element.

it's a little mind-boggling, a little incomprehensible just how graceful minho is, how he moves like water, how he makes every move look so effortless and poised.

he pauses the music suddenly, stands in the middle of the room for a few seconds to catch his breath, then calls out to you.

"c'mere."

"are you done?"

"no. just come here. wanna show you something."

you go to him out of curiosity. when you're within reach, he turns you to the face the giant mirror. "dance with me."

"what? nuh uh. nope. you know i physically cannot do the things you can."

"this one is easy!" he tries to reason. "it's slower. c'mon, just for a little bit."

of course you're hesitant, even though there's no one else around but the two of you. he's a miracle of movement and you basically have two left feet, zero sense of rhythm and sometimes trip over air.

he pouts a little, presses his lips against your cheek. "i'll show you how."

you bite the inside of your cheek. he takes you into his arms and kisses your face again.

"fifteen minutes tops, yeah?"

minho is cute about it though. he's always cute about it when he wants something.

"ugh, fine. but you can't laugh at me!"

the music starts from the beginning. you watch carefully by his side as he tries to slow down his movements to make it easier for you to follow but jesus it's hard.

"5... 6... 7... 8..."

you look like a cat on cocaine trying to walk like a human.

again, two left feet and absolutely no sense of rhythm at all.

he ends up laughing a little, when you fail to copy the way he skillfully maneuvers his legs and step on your own foot. you wobble for a few seconds trying not to fall on your ass.

"i told you not to laugh!"

"i’m sorry," he apologizes in between giggles. "you're cute. come here."

minho comes stand behind you then, taking your arms and moving them how they're supposed to move, kissing your cheek and the side of your neck whenever you slightly turn your head to follow your movements in the mirror. you blush every time.

it's easier than before, but that's probably just because he's literally operating your limbs like a puppeteer.

"look, you're nailing this."

you roll your eyes. "thanks."

the music dips, the melody flatlines. the song ends. he starts twirling you around a couple of times like you're ballroom dancing, which takes you by surprise a bit, makes you gasp when you finally land against his chest.

he's got his arms around you and a soft smile on his face, even as you look up at him with narrowed eyes, almost a squint.

"that was embarrassing."

"no, it wasn't. you're adorable."

"i was not. i looked like dori on catnip."

"and dori on catnip is adorable."

"that's not the point. when hyunjin misses the beat for half a second, you look like you could murder him on the spot but you call me adorable. check your double standards."

minho just laughs before he ducks down to kiss you sweetly, despite how you try to squirm away from him, complaining that you're starting to get hot even after just 15 minutes of moving around.

"of course i have double standards when it comes to you," he says after breaking the kiss, "you're literally the love of my life."

Ok I need to tell you the way me meeting Jure happened bcs I just think it's funny:

Me and my friend got to Logomo at like 16.30 or something bcs we were planning to just party at the back. We went to sit on the ground by the back service entrance bcs we just wanted sun and a peaceful spot away from the crowd lol. We sat there for like 45min, during which I had complained about forgetting my cigarettes at home and also about how cute Jure actually is (yes these were related idk). We also heard soundcheck and saw the Häärijä Bojan story being filmed lmao. Suddenly, the door opened and I see a blond mop of hair and go "guys thats Jure" and he sat straight down to have a cigarette

This photo is important bcs you need to see the distance (or lack thereof) we're talking about. Now, the second he got there we went deathly quiet and were unsure if we should bother him since he was sick the day before, and in the end we let him sit there for like 5-10min by himself. What's funny about this is that my friend (in the photo) is German so we were speaking english, meaning that not even a language barrier could cover us and he could just hear everything 💀. AND ALSO THERE WAS NO DISTANCE idk what we were thinking honestly.

Me and 2 others then finally gathered our courage and thought if we just politely give him our gifts etc he'll be okay, and we went over. Someone had a notebook for him to draw a tattoo saying Novi Val and he spent like genuienly 4min writing a 2 word sentence and the N ended up looking like an H so idk what he was doodling. Then we just talked for like 10min with him, during which I had such a humbling moment it was unreal. When we asked him if they plan on staying after the tour, he said no and that they'd be flying to Venice on the weekend. To this all of us went "Ohhh that's so nice!" until he went "Yeah because we have such bad luck with flights so we never have a straight flight to Ljubljana", like all of us really thought he meant they'd have some holiday in Venice or smth 💀. Anywayss I also might've told him I booked tickets to see them in Wrocław even though I haven't done that yet (only concert tickets) but ig I have to now lmao.

Later he reached into his pocket to pull out another cigarette, and I quickly gave him my pack that I had made him. It was this painted over light pink one with JO blue and yellow rhinestones, heart sequins and a painted cat at the back lmao. It was SO babygirl glittery and he loved it. Then he shared some with us and whatever cancer I might've gotten was worth it only so I can say I've used Jure's lighter now (that has the word Joker on it lmao):

Anywayss then after a while he got up and we took some photos with him, and he went back inside to have some lunch (it was 17.30 atp 😐). Maybe I didn't get to meet Jance this tour but this encounter was so sweet and unexpected, and Jure really is as nice as he appears online lol (and also bcs he said he felt a lot better than the day before at Tavastia)

so it's been approx. a day since I found out exams have been moved to next week, and I may or may not have ended up dramatically sulking thus resulting in being inactive bcuz I prepared for nothing LMFAAOOOO

but then again, I couldn't find myself gathering the time to open tumblr at all tbh. this week's been a tough one, w all the bombarding of events and all

anyways, I fortunately had enough spare time today to add in a few drawings to make up for my loss (LOL) , and yes, that includes that lazy ass scrap above.

even though I'm most likely gonna be inactive for a little further while, I'd still like to thank my good ol' childhood bestie for taking me out of my whiny slacking shell even temporarily. that mfs definitely gonna reblog this again, so you'll know what I mean.

so first and foremost-- since I've gotten addicted to fbje all the more lately, I stumbled upon a very pretty artwork within the manga. it's official, and I wondered how it'd fare if I were to implement it in terms of demon slayer's gaiden artstyle.

here's how it turned out!

it's not the best, I think I ended up making her look fierce..I honestly wanted to give it komorebi--dappled sunlight, if you will--but my brush ended up not being as compatible with the chosen style of gaiden so...yeah, I ditched that and went for this idea instead!

moreover, I was pleasantly surprised to see the amount of notifs I've missed. I'm so sorry that I've just seen it, but I'm glad that I now did..@muitsuri , WHAT HAVE U BEEN UP TO⁉️⁉️..I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THE ANTICS UVE DONE- FEEDING THE EVAKARI NATION⁉️⁉️ HELL YEA!!

beomgyu choi has but one little regret in life.

not to say that he hasn’t done many stupid things in his life. in fact, beomgyu has probably done every stupid thing there is to do when you’re young, dumb, and broke.

he’s accidentally set his hair on fire (no one told him that hairspray is flammable), sent his high school homecoming date an ‘i love you’ text the first time he got drunk (she’s lesbian and was in the closet at the time), and has greened out and eventually had to be hauled off in the trunk of yeonjun’s car because it was too much of a hassle to get him in a carseat.

but even so, he’s never regretted any of those things. sure, he didn’t like the fact that it took nearly a year to grow his hair back out but he really rocked the buzzcut. and his lesbian homecoming date was the one who hooked him up at the internship he was at right now. and every time he had done a little too much at a party, he had woken up the next morning with videos he knew he would look behind on fondly.

and with even all of these things, beomgyu regretted you the most.

he regretted not being the man you deserved. you were just so sweet, so kind, so good and he had let you slip through his fingers. every time he did something dumb, you would be there to smile and laugh at his uneven hair or his crazy stories.

you never made him feel dumb for the stupid things he did. taehyun always got on his ass about doing things impulsively without thinking about how the consequences might play out. beomgyu had a really habit of just rushing into things - especially if he thought it would be a good story to tell later on.

you were the opposite though. you didn’t really party (although you went hard when you did), kept to yourself most of the time, and honestly, you were a little bit of an overthinker. it was like you would go through every single terrible outcome from each small step you took before you finally made a move.

and yet, you never tried to rein him in. honestly, maybe beomgyu wouldn’t be wrestling with so much regret if you had. if you had tried to change him, maybe beomgyu would remember the memories he had with you with a little more contempt than he does now. maybe he wouldn’t try to access your instagram page through his friends accounts just to see what you were up to.

or maybe he would be here with you right now. maybe if you had tried to change him, beomgyu finally would have come to his senses and would’ve learned to settle down. or settle up, really.

even if you never tried to change him, and you always told him that you liked him just the way he was, beomgyu felt like he was the best version of himself around you. he thought a little more, spoke a little less, and laughed a little louder every single time he was in your presence.

instead of getting down in the dumps about he felt about himself (inevitably causing him to then do something stupid to get his mind off of it), he felt like he could talk to you. he liked to hear your calm and rational opinion on his matters. because you would never try to overly praise him or try to bring him down too hard. you would just tell him the truth.

which was why he broke up with you.

you brought out the best version of him, sure, but beomgyu couldn’t hide his faults forever. even if you never judged him, even if you always laughed at his stories instead of scolding him, beomgyu couldn’t help but wonder if you would still look at him the same way if you knew just how much darkness he hid behind his smile.

and so, he broke up with you. he knew if he told you his true and honest feelings, you would’ve called him out on his bullshit. that’s just who you were. even if you knew it would hurt, you would tell him the whole, neutral, honest truth.

beomgyu didn’t like that. he didn’t want someone as perfect and accepting as you to be with someone riddled with too much energy to expel and too many overwhelming emotions. so he let you go.

and he has regretted it every day since then.

Having read/reread Somnium this past week/two-ish... I have some theories about Wyatt.

Every character we create has a bit of us, our experiences, and our biases. On that same note, I think every persona Wyatt has projected contained a bit of truth, but also a fair bit of fabrication. Of all the characters in Somnium, I think he had the worst childhood. It's really a miracle he's alive and not completely batshit crazy. And it's understandable why he learned to shut down emotions from a tiny age.

But Wyatt is AND isn't who we've seen. That nerdy, awkward doofus Courtney got to know, there a bit of truth there. But he exaggerated it for her. The absolute psycho that everyone shied away from... There's a bit of truth there, but I think also a fair amount of embellishment. If you're gonna be surrounded by homicidal thugs, then by all means, be the craziest one in the room. The one person that everyone is wary of. When he had his years alone in Mt. Komo (aka his purgatory), it was the first time his survival didn't depend on acting FOR someone else. He could just BE.

Wyatt says he isn't wired right and that he's emotionally faulty. But is he really as bad off as he thinks or is that what he's always been told? Obviously empathy is not his strong suit, but we've seen him: jealous/envious (others' relationships), selfless (letting Darien & Brynn go), appreciative (Oscar's help), petrified (to the point of throwing up), kind (to Ichiro, Mayo, and Brynn), and managed to (while sweating) mumble an ILY. All of which are normal emotions. He tried to make amends where he could. He adopted a cat ffs. A street cat that now has the poshest looking cat bed I've seen lol And the last time he choked someone was out of passion and (somewhat righteous) anger, not emotionless calculation.

I think who Wyatt was (and thought he was) is fading away, however damaged his past left him. I don't think he'll ever be a soft guy/touch to the world at large. Only a select few will be privy to that side if him. But I think his true nature is finally being revealed. Or am I reading him wrong? Enlighten me, Becca!

Ohhh you've read him remarkably well indeed! I truly love Wyatt's character, he's so complex and he really did have a nasty childhood.. on the surface I'm sure it looked like he had everything he ever wanted, but that's faaar from the truth.

I think he's only just realised that he's not actually a psychopath at all, he just kinda learnt how to be one as a coping mechanism when he was very young, so young that it almost seemed like reality in the end, even to other people! (There's a reason it seemed so genuine ⚆_⚆) I suppose in a way he lied to himself for so long it became reality. Ask Bruno.. he's still convinced he's a psycho! 😅

I rlly think smth shifted the moment he became suspicious of Oscar tho, and whilst at first he was intent on protecting the "family" and doing the "right" thing, the more he thought about it, the more he realised how done he was. No one listened to him, no one respected him, but he knew he was right! It was like he realised he'd never progressed from being a small child, pushed out of the way and ignored, even when they're begging to tell you something important! Arturo wasn't interested, so instead.. he had to pay. Wyatt didn't want to be loyal to him anymore! At the time, he didn't help Oscar n' co. just to do the right thing, he wanted to fuck his father over more than anything, so.. still pretty self-serving in a way but he's had a loooot of time to think since then and it's been so intriguing watching the slow shift in his mindset.

He's everything he's ever been, pretended to be and everything he never was, all bundled up into a ball that he buried deep inside; only when he was free did it all start to unravel.

I adore the examples of humanity you've picked up on tho, all those tiny hints we got that maybe he's not completely devoid of emotion after all... He's still Wyatt, but he's also Kaito too.. he's intelligent, he CAN be kind - to the right people, tho he definitely struggles with empathy - he's jealous, possessive, ambitious, confident, not confident at all 😆 he doesn't know, actually.. maybe we should check back in on him in a little while lmao

Despite the usual registration issues these were SO much easier & cleaner than any of prev (bar printing aint easy) honestly. Finally mostly got my emulsion coating p consistent! The inks were flowing well! They (mostly) stopped bleeding the whole time! And it all just took most of the year!! god, lol

The image was 1/2 done w a forgiveness towards inaccurate registration in mind, but i still wouldve liked a bit more lining up. I had Z Merrill in mind when i actually bothered to put in reg marks this go, but i think working w the acetate as a reg sheet is an issue - at least w fabric. Not sure how to fix that just yet tho ://

I was gonna say that i think i should do smth w just 2 layers, but requiring a closer reg, then remembered i still wanna do that bosch thing, so idk!!

Aaron Hotchner finally took a page outta Rossi's book and got with a black woman and his life was forever changed. He always felt like there was something missing, something he couldn't quite put his finger on. He talked to Rossi about it one day and he told him that he'd been in his shoes before meeting his second wife. Hotch took it with a grain of salt before a chance encounter had him revisiting the conversation. Everything was different for him from the first conversation and she made everything better for him. he couldn’t help but stare at your lips as you spoke, and he was completely enamored with every single one of your features. he makes sure to tell you that every chance he gets, too. he loves to learn new things about your culture and what all the slang means. you giggle everytime you use an aave term and he gives you a clueless little “what’s that mean?”

he pays for your hair!! sugar daddy!hotch is my favorite hotch! all he asks is that you send him 3 options to choose from and he sends you the money for it. and then when you come home, he greets you with a gentle “can i touch it…?”

teaching him your wash day routine and eventually he becomes so well versed in it that you let him do it when you’re too tired or to lazy too. eventually he starts memorizing how long you go in between wash days and asking if he can do it for you and it quickly becomes his favorite time to spend with you.

helps you take down all of your protective styles and is just so so gentle with it. when you’re cuddling and you’re head is on his chest, you constantly worry that your hair is in his way (when it’s out natural). always self consciously saying “i’m sorry, i know my hair gets in the way and trying to smooth it down.”

he just shushes you and gently grabs your wrist muttering “stop that, it’s beautiful” as he kisses your hair.

THE BDE AND THE STYLE CHANGE ABSOLUTELY. aaron is already a dilf there’s no question. but once you start dating him? he ditches the t-shirts and polos, you get him a nice silver chain that he constantly has on and help him up his shoe game. you have millions and millions of matching pairs of sneakers (paid for by his credit card ofc bc he’ll be damned if he lets you spend a single cent on absolutely anything).

you are first and foremost a strong independent black woman who doesn’t need a man, and aaron absolutely respects that,, but when you’re with him? you’re a spoiled princess and he won’t hear anything else. he’s literally the only one that can both tolerate and fix your attitude.

say you’re used to toxic relationships and arguments, so immediately in a disagreement you start with the push back and the yelling and the attitude. aaron let’s you rant and vent and scream at him and then j looks at you with a raised brow and asks “are you done? cus i’m prepared to have a conversation and work this out when you are sweetheart.”

or or or or smth petty like you’re j annoyed with the whole day and you snap at him? within seconds he squeezing your jaw and glaring down at you asking “who the fuck do you think you’re talking to like that?” you lose the confidence quick as you squeak put a quick apology.

rossi starts to notice the changes in aaron. in his attitude, his style, the way he carries himself. rossi just leans over to him and chuckles out an ‘i told you so.’

aaron makes a mental note to thank david as the two of you are laid in bed, he’s putting your hair up into your bonnet and dragging you to his chest to watch a movie—jack snuggling up between you guys when he finishes up getting ready for bedtime.
