Force Feeding Zhongli Seafood (Zhongli x Reader ft. Venti)

Lolita's note: yes i know, the title is quite misleading but bare with me because i'm having a manic episode and the form of art i chose to abuse tonight is writing.

"Today's lunch is... creamy garlic shrimp pasta!" You beamed at the two guests you have sitting in your dining room. Suddenly the loud voices that you heard from the kitchen halted. You saw Venti look at you with a mix of surprise and disbelief as he holds back a laughter while he glances at Zhongli - who is quite flabbergasted at your choice of dish as well.

Quite isn't the right word honestly. He is about to break into cold sweat and grimace at the food right in front of him. But he does his best to keep his cool and smile at you.

"Ohoho~ Somebody is about to get hit in the jugular." Venti snickers, as he looks at you expectantly.

The thing is you already know Zhongli despises seafood. But you wanted to try something out today. You want to find out what he's like in the face of something he doesn't love. You prepared yourself for an argument, him lecturing you - anything. You're so used to him being so doting on you that you can practically order him to bend the laws of nature and he would do so without a second thought.

"My love... what is this?" He asked, a blank expression in his eyes. You can't tell if he's making sure he sees it right or he's questioning you.

"Garlic shrimp pasta, your favorite!" You repeat again, and Venti almost choked on the cocktail he's drinking.

"Hahaha! There it goes. What do you say, old friend? Are you ready to take the challenge?" Venti elbows Zhongli's arm and winks at him, and his brow twitches as he shoots a glare back at the Anemo Archon.

"Shut it, Barbatos." He snaps at him, clearly growing unamused by the minute. He looks back at you and smiles flatly,

"Dear, you know I have made you aware that I do not eat seafood?"

You feign innocence and you shrug, and Venti covers his mouth, holding back his laughter (to which he obviously fails, and that irritates Zhongli even more).

You don't know if you should laugh or keep it together, because Venti's presence makes this even more trivial than you intended it to be.

You set down the dish and watch them help themselves to a portion of the food. Venti immediately digs in and takes a huge sip of his cocktail.

"Fwah! That hits the spot. You know, this is going to be my new favorite. I bet this would go well with apple pie." Venti almost mockingly voices his appreciation, as if to get a reaction from the former Geo Archon.

You smile at them both, and you waited for Zhongli to take his first bite. You notice how Zhongli keeps the shrimps at the side of his plate and only eats the pasta. He thinks he's getting away with it until you ask him,

"Are you not gonna eat the shrimps?" Part of you just wants to stop this whole thing already, but you were determined to get to the end of this. You wanted to see him eat the shrimps, at least this once in your feeble mortal life.

"Yeah, they are so juicy and delicious, right?" Venti agrees, again, holding back a smile. And you both shared a look.

"I... this is delicious, yes, but, I do not eat seafood." Zhongli finally replies, smiling apologetically - as if he's begging you to let this go.

You smile and you walk over to sit beside him. You take a spoon and begin crushing the shrimps so that it would be at least bearable for him.

"Here, say 'Ahh'." You motion at him, and Venti finally goes from having a fit of giggles to having a full blown laughter.

"'Say Ahh'." He mimics you, and looks at Zhongli, who's slightly avoiding the spoon that your holding.

"I can't believe you're doing this. I mean, look at him, he practically has his mouth shut tight at this point and he looks like a spoiled kid who doesn't want his shrimpies." Venti laughs and finishes his drink, grabbing another portion of the shrimp pasta.

"It is not shrimpies...!" Zhongli almost whines, a scowl now evident on his face, and you and Venti both pause.

Zhongli has a visible pout in his face.

Indeed, it is a sight you should put in a picture frame.

But in a matter of seconds, the former archon redeems himself, clearing his throat.

"What are you trying to get out of me, you two?" He sighs as he gives in, opening his mouth to eat the spoonful of crushed shrimp.

Venti shrugs and tilts his head towards you.

"Dunno, ask them. I'm just following their lead." And at that, you raised a brow, and he laughs.

"I believe I expect a reason for this." Zhongli wipes his lips with a napkin and drinks from the glass of wine. He groaned at the aftertaste. Well, it certainly didn't cleanse his palate as he expected.

"Zhongli, I'm sorry I just-" He was about to give you an earful when Venti chimed in.

"You two are a straaange couple, indeed." Venti smiled. Zhongli closed his eyes, his breath hitching as he did his best not to lash out at Venti.

He heaves an exasperated sigh as he pinches the bridge of his nose.

"See, that's what you get for being too doting. They probably did this to piss you off." Venti comments.

Before the silence gets too awkward, Venti takes his leave.

"Welp, I'm outta here. Thanks for the lunch! I enjoyed it very much~" Venti waves at the both of you. You mouthed a 'sorry' and smiled at him as he left. When Zhongli wasn't looking, he waved his index finger, silently telling you how much you pissed him off.

"Sorry, this won't happen again, I promise." You placed your hand on top of his and Zhongli begins to lecture you again about how he used to battle enemies at the sea and how seafood reminds him of all the bloodshed it caused.

He said your name firmly, "I love and respect you. You know that. We've talked a lot about our likes and dislikes, and we confide to each other. So, please, don't do this again." Zhongli looks at you.

"I'm sorry."

He kisses your cheek and smiles at you.

"Apology accepted."

Later in the evening, as if the mischievousness of Venti possessed you,

"Hey." You began to tiptoe behind Zhongli while he was getting ready for bed.

"How was the shrimp?" You snickered. He sighs.

"What was it again? Shrimpies?" You tease again.

"Oh, my love, whatever shall I do with you... it seems that the fickleness of a certain visitor has stayed with you today." He turns to you, and he suddenly holds you close.

Before you could protest, you're trapped in his grip and he peppers kisses on your face.

"You made a strange choice today, my love. What do you think we should do about it?" He lays you down on the bed and starts acting more suggestively, his kisses growing more... irresistible.

"W-wait-"

Aether

his heart breaks the same way as yours, if not even more

doesn’t say anything at first but will take you in his arms silently and make comforting sounds, rubbing your back up and down

his priority is making you feel better first, instead of bombarding you with questions about what happened.

When you’ve calmed down a little he’ll start wiping your tears and will give you a gentle smile

“You can talk about it whenever you’re ready, Y/N. In this world and the next, I’ll always be here by your side,”

Albedo

Offers you a handkerchief and stays by you until you’re ready to talk about it.

When he sees that you’re clumsily wiping your tears he takes the handkerchief back and does it for you, patting your cheeks dry while he has a hand cradling your cheek.

The look on his face is sullen and downcast, as if he’s guilty he wasn’t able to protect you from whatever it was that made you feel this way.

He squeezes your hand and urges you to tell him what’s wrong.

“Strange. Tears are a normal human reaction to emotions...yet when I see yours, I can’t help but feel that they don’t belong on your features...”

Ayato

doesn’t look like he’s too bothered but is actually quite anxious inside. What happened? Did something transpire while he was away? Were you somehow affected by his status?

It comes with being busy all the time, he’s worried that he might not be taking care of you enough and seeing you cry hits hard for him.

hugs you protectively. One arm round your middle and the other gently pressing on the back of your head as you rest your face on his chest or the crook of his neck.

“I’m sorry, love. Never in your time with me do I wish to see tears of despair in your eyes... Please, if there’s something I can do, tell me,”

Bennett

panics

flounders and doesn’t know what to do. The let-me-check-my-pockets-if-i-have-any-tissue-welp-no-I-don’t-so-I’ll-wave-my-hands-around-to-try-and-make-them-feel-better character.

Ends up awkwardly putting both his hands on your shoulders and giving you a forced smile.

“I-It’s alright. Everything will be fine. I promise! We’ll fix it together, okay?”

Chongyun

is stunned by your tears. This may sound weird but he thinks that something about them is beautiful, despite it being sad. Kind of reminds him of snow crystals.

Holds your hand and lets you cry, being careful of if your mood is getting worse or better

is worried, but is patient and will never rush you to ‘stop crying’

is not very confident that he can make you feel better but will definitely try his best

“...Y/N? If it’s okay...Can you tell me what happened? I... I just don’t like seeing you sad...”

Dainsleif

Your tears are literally precious to him. Doesn’t matter if it’s happy or sad tears, both makes him feel a bit of sadness.

will let you curl up in his arms as he soothes you gently, occasionally wiping away tears that cascade down your cheeks.

will press some kisses on your forehead while waiting for you to mellow down.

Will look at you while wiping your tears and

“No one should ever make you feel this way, not me, nor anyone else... Tell me what happened, my star, and I assure you I’ll take the hurt away,”

Diluc

panic but on the inside. The instant ‘what happened?’ is written all over his face but doesn’t say it out loud immediately.

thinks you’re physically hurt, when he finds out you’re not, he’s even angrier cause something has upset you to the point of making you cry and he definitely wants to know what or who it is

cups your face in his hands and has a worried expression while watching your tears fall, trying to pat them dry gently.

is ready to go to war

“What’s wrong? Are you hurt? Did something happen? *sighs* I’m here, it’s alright. I’m not leaving...You’re my everything, do you understand that? If anything happens to you...”

Gorou

startled but is incredibly downcast when he realizes you’re crying and it shows with his ears flattened down and his tail unmoving.

Something about his instincts makes him press his forehead against yours and he closes his eyes while holding the two of you in position like that. He thinks it comforts him more than it comforts you, but he hopes it helps you too.

doesn’t quite know what to say, but will ask politely about your feelings.

“...Is everything okay? I-I’m not sure how to make things better but I’m always here to listen. I promise,”

Heizou

Wordlessly pulls you into a hug and rubs your back, hums a little tune or song to hopefully ease your crying.

already thinking about what could have happened while trying to comfort you.

pulls away and gives exactly two kisses on your cheek. one on the right and one on the left then proceeds to pat your face dry.

“My charming Y/N, I’ve got a good idea of what might’ve happened...Hm? How did I figure it out so fast? *chuckles* You underestimate me, dear. Your utmost happiness is easily the most important job on my list,”

Itto

Freezes. Kind of doesn’t know what to do when he sees someone crying (though he has made a lot of kids cry before >_> it’s different when it’s you)

Will offer you material things to try and make you feel better. Candy. Lollipop. His onikabuto.

When you tell him all you want is a hug he kind of melts on the inside but is also ridiculously proud.

Is still kind of concerned and is convinced someone has bullied you and will throw hands if that’s the case

“Well you’re in luck! I give the best hugs around here! Err... Only for you though. You sure you’re okay? Want me to go and teach ‘em a lesson?”

Kaeya

crestfallen. His usual grin has turned weak and he takes you by the hand, drags you over to the nearest chair or bed and pulls you onto his lap, cradling you in his arms as you cry.

validates your feelings and doesn’t make you feel stupid or weak for shedding tears.

let’s you cry for as long as you want and lets you rest your head on his shoulder, no matter how damp it gets.

Mostly talks to himself, but kind of talks to you as well during your process of calming down.

“...What exactly has upset my snowflake, I wonder? Someone I have to talk to? Something I have to take care of? Anything to bring the smile back on your face, love,”

Kazuha

takes you somewhere private or quiet. Comforts you first by sitting somewhere with you and letting you drape your legs over his lap while he cradles your upper half and shushes you gently.

Thinks you’re still incredibly attractive even when crying, but is also worried about your emotions.

Will talk to you about it and won’t push too much if you don’t feel like it yet.

While wiping your tears...

“Nothing will make me think any less of you, Y/N. This will pass, but whatever it might be, please let me do the honor of sharing your burdens with you.”

Razor

Instant hug and curls his body around you, literally in protection mode and not letting anyone else near you.

Conceals you from the rest of the world until you’ve calmed down in his arms.

He doesn’t look at your face because he’s on the lookout for anything or anyone who tries to approach you during a vulnerable time, but he knows you’ve calmed down when your breathing evens out

“...Y/N...will be okay...I will...protect,”

Scaramouche

freezes, but out of anger, not concern. Probably trying not to stomp out of there and demand his subordinates to tell him who made you cry.

Silently goes towards you and remarks/mumbles about how ugly you look when you cry, but he’s also wiping your tears.

Then tilts your still damp face up to look him straight in his murderous eyes. immediately goes to worst case scenario.

“Stop crying already and tell me who I have to kill,”

Tartaglia

cold. but not towards you. Cold because he’s thinking about how he’s going to make the offender suffer.

Towards you, he’s gentle and whispers comfort in your ear. Telling you that he’s here now and he’ll make it all better, but only if you tell him what happened, and only if you point out the specific people who made you unhappy.

Showers you with kisses down your jaw and up again, then presses two last ones on both your eyelids.

“Now which unfortunate soul do I have to talk to and take care of to make things better, my love? Don’t be shy now, I’ll take care of it real quick,”

Thoma

concerned. the type to approach you, hug you, rest his head on top of yours and gently or softly cradle/sway you side by side

it’s like a little slow dance but with less movements, hoping that it gives you more comfort, like a rocking chair type of thing.

it hurts him to see you cry and you can tell from his scrunched up brows and heavy facial expression.

Looks as if he’s about to cry as well.

“Whatever you feel, I feel it deeply too. When you’re happy and when your face lights up, my heart is at ease. But...seeing you this way...I didn’t think it would hurt me this much,”

Venti

still has a positive streak to him, but is mindful of your feelings.

The type to say things like you look better with a smile or that tears don’t suit you, or that he misses your smiling face but will also tell you that you still look charming, tears or not. That’s just how he sees you.

the type to squish your cheeks together and try to get a smile out of you

“Awe there it is. See? That smile’s much better!”

After he has cheered you up will ask you what it is that upset you and will tackle the problem with you.

“Hm... I see. In that case, you can’t do it alone! This is a job for the two of us. Let’s go and make things better, shall we?”

Xiao

shocked, then angry. He’s never seen you cry and you’re usually happy go lucky so when he sees you cry he thinks it’s a gravely serious thing.

despite that he still somehow doesn’t quite understand the purpose of tears. He knows what despair is but has the mindset that tears are not necessary, though he tries to understand how fragile humans are.

Will awkwardly stand in front of you while you cry, and later on will attempt to use one curled finger to brush away your cascading tears.

“...You humans...your resolves are too weak...too fragile, and yet...”

will pause for a seconds to continue to observe you cry. He acknowledges the twisting feeling in his chest.

“...and yet why does it make me feel this way, watching you weep?”

Xingqiu

surprised. will ask you to sit down and go through it calmly, will offer to do something for you: brew you tea, read your favourite book aloud.

Will ask you what he can do to make you more comfortable because he’d rather ask than do the wrong thing.

Will sit by you and rub your head and silently observe your mood.

will clear his schedule if there was anything on it.

“...Are you feeling better, Y/N? Would you like to stay here or go somewhere else? Take as long as you want, I have all the time in the world for you,”

Zhongli

calm but concerned. You can tell that he’s thinking about what might have gone wrong. At the same time, he’s trying to comfort you.

Ideally he’ll take you to bed and let you curl up against him while he rubs your back, letting you get all your emotions out before he starts asking you questions, though he already as a lot on his mind.

He lets you play with his hair, cause he knows that’s a kind of comfort for you.

Will lay with you in bed for a while, even after you’ve calmed down, just to give you time to think.

“...Beloved, whether or not it’s a joyous occasion or a sorrowful one, for as long as I live, my promise is to love you and to always be the pillar you can rely on. Today is no different. Would you like to talk about what happened?”

hello I feel like talking abt the fic im writing rn but I don't want to share TOO much so I'm gonna make notes of the names I chose for major characters

Jian Guizhong

I considered going the classic "use the demon name as the family name" but it sounds so silly to me so I chose Jian, a surname originated with those who held the position of advisor. I thought this was fitting as she's the brain's to Zhongli's brawn.

Yuezheng Ping

Yuezheng is another name derived from a profession- you can see I'm following a theme here as most of these characters are very important figures- for that of chief musician. The fic I'm writing is centered around Guizhong and Ping's argument and eventual connection over music with a particular focus on Ping's relationship with music and how Guizhong challenges that.

Taishi Zhongli

Taishi is a surname no longer in use in the present day, as far as I can tell, but it was given to those with the title of grand historian in imperial China. Zhongli is a history major in this and normally I would leave archons ambiguously still archons for the funnies in my modernish AUs but there's way too much divinity for that here unfortunately. It would be really fucking funny though.

Liuyun Jiefeng (Cloud Retainer)

This is literally just Cloud retainer's name in Chinese minus the title at the end. She's. Not that relevant okay. And I ran out of brain juice by the time I got to her like what was I supposed to call her??

Genshin Diary Entry #9

Welp, my mood has changed almost immediately. I start up the next part of the quest and the evil doctor man is in my screen. Of course I'm feeling better already.

Ok! The story is finally picking up! I got to meet Dottore, went to look for Tighnari and saw a vision from Scara's memories... it's been REAL interesting. I don't have much to say about Dottore yet since he's only been in one scene, but I'm excited! He seems proper threatening but not in a physical violence way. Makes perfect sense he'd be here in this arc.

AS FOR SCARAMOUCHE I've been so curious about this character for months now cause everyone is talking about him and drawing him. One thing that surprised me was finding out that he canonically refers to Ei as his mother?? I thought that was just another fan interpretation like Xiao with Zhongli, but no! He straight up says it himself! I'm not going to talk about him much yet but I'll probably write a lot once I know the full story.

Speculation wise, I'm not sure what to think! I mean from what I got from the vision, my guess is that Scara has some issues with his 'strength' and power, and is trying to become a real god. Not necessarily to impress Ei but more out of spite and need to overcome his own inferiority issues. I'd love to know how he came across the Fatui and the process that lead to that mecha thing he was sitting in. Just.... ahgh I love characters like this I can't wait to get to know him so I can pick him apart <3

would it be like how it happens in the anime? Being able to switch between slime and human?

Either way, can't stop thinking about how much the slimes would love you. In human or slime form they're following you like lost dogs and cuddling with you.

If you do get hunted down, to no avail due to your transformation abilities, they'll probably think you're some kind of adepti from another land (like adepti "rank" but from a different nation or world entirely).

Which makes it more damning to them because how dare you wear the face of their god, you're not even from here. I think it'd be better to clump this in with a reader than can transform into anything right? So if they notice that you can transform into anything or anyone at anytime, they'll just think you stole their god's face even more.

But! If reader is mortally wounded, their shape-shifting powers go away. To conserve energy and maybe when they shape-shift it's just odd reflections of light, so that means once reader gets injured they transform into their original form because you can't injure something that's not real.

Just a thought though. I like it!

YO- Shapeshifting sexy thief reader???????????????

Transforming into Zhongli for easy access into Jueyun Karst so you can steal Cloud Retainer's trinkets. Maybe one of her trinkets is something she took from you. Maybe (this is from another ask i haven't answered yet) she had took your phone from you. So you now have your phone!

... at 2%

But! You can transform into a slime! So just... charge your phone yourself! LDKFJdslkf

And once it's charged, you have blackmail :)

Do you know all the weird shit people have drawn the characters doing? What people have done with the official models?

BRO IMAGINE HAVING PICTURES OF OBSCURE SHIPS??? Like if you threatened Yae with pictures of her and Ei she'd be unphased. Like, yes sweetie, we make out, get over yourself.

But pictures of her and Ayato??? SHE'D DIE IF THAT GOT OUT. WHO'S YOUR SUPPLIER, WHERE'D YOU GET THESE????

So now you like at the grand narukami shrine :) and none of the shrine maidens like you (especially the one in yae's demo LASKDJFASD-) But the foxes adore you and their opinion means much more than theirs so you feel welcomed.

Its also so fun to transform into a fox and have the shrine maidens be in awe at how a fox is letting them pet it. You could either let them keep the fond memory... or destroy it by transforming back and rubbing it in their face that they were petting you.

Eventually though, I imagine they'd warm up to you. They may not have liked you but Yae loves watching the shrine maidens look at animals and monsters thinking "Is this that little fucker?"

So you grow on all of them. And once someone from one of the commissions find you -because eventually they will - and take you away, they'll fight tooth and nail for you. The shrine's so boring now without you, and your little playful scuffles with Yae were hilarious. When the both of you worked together to tease the shrine maidens, it was terrifying. At the same time though, Yae could always tell when it was you and maybe show some mercy to the shrine maidens.

Just. The shrine is so empty without you terrorizing them. Your reckless but lighthearted playful attitude contrasting Yae's serious and sometimes malicious teasing was such a nice atmosphere once you get used to it.

"That fucking rat got captured? Welp, gotta go and get the damn rat."

Welp, for the sake of the story

Some of people of Liyue beginning to ask about the marriage between the two

Zhongli said both of you were rather living well in harmony

But being the nosy people, they begin to push questions to Zhongli

Including have you guys warmed up each other in bed yet ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

Zhongli was looking... Rather uncomfortable ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

You who came to pick up Zhongli overheard the conversation but it seems that they haven't noticed you being there yet

They kept pushing and your husband was looking rather uncomfortable

So you stepped in to defend him

"Geez you guys are so nosy" your appearance startled them

"Don't worry, we'll be having fun tonight, is that right my dear~?" you went to Zhongli's side and lean on him

Xiao mumbled under his breath, he doesn't mind you seeing him licking his lips and his mouth envelopes one of your nipples, his tongue flicking over it once before it turns to light sucks as he presses your body against his. He always loved it when you're together, and it feels like absolute heaven to him when you're this close. But for some reasons, this is not enough, he wants more, like a greedy boy he is when it comes to you, one of his hands already made its way to your bare thigh and softly rubs small circles on it... Are there any genshin impact characters you think would have chronic stomach issues that would cause them constant nausea, vomiting and stomach pain or gurgling?

let me start off by saying, i had to do some research because chronic illness is kind of a new area for me, but that was interesting. i tipically shy away from anything scat-related as I'm not into it in the slightest, that's why i didn't point to any specific issue, more just mixed and matched symptoms to what i think fits best. that being said, thank you for this ask, anon. i went a little ham on this, so sorry if i went a little off topic.

headcanons under the cut

Kaeya

He would be one to have the worst stomach issues behind closed doors and no one would have the minimal idea. While drinking and eating regularly with acquaintances gives him the approachable facade so useful to his double nature, it also takes a toll on his stomach. Given how much greasy pub food and sugary cocktails he goes through in a night, and how demanding his post as a glorified errands boy is, it's surprising he manages to keep a straight face while his stomach is trying to eat itself.

Razor

This poor boy probably has had a lot of issues adapting to the food of Mondstadt, given how long he spent living with his pack of wolves, surviving off raw meat and whatever else he could gather. Foods too elaborate, like anything above the complexity of a roast, would leave him with indigestion, or pretty much his body would just reject it with growls and noisy complaints.

Bennett

Another poor boy, always short on his luck, probably has food poisoning so frequently he can barely tell when something he ate has gone sour. Canonically a pretty strong stomach, given how much he's been through, but that has left a big scar on him. Even if what he ate was perfectly okay, just the suspicion of poisoning would leave him anxious, and everything just wouldn't settle in his belly.

Jean

She's so stressed and tired all the time, that her poor stomach probably can't handle much anymore, so any heavy or fatty foods leave her sluggish and nauseous. That, combined with the deprivation of food in exchange for efficiency and more work done, and the constant medication to counter that. Poor Jean probably has a lot of acid reflux and heartburn as a result, that sometimes could lead to her vomiting seemingly out of nowhere.

Diluc

While I just love to dump every curse imaginable onto Diluc, canonically I think he would be pretty much immune to anything sickness other than poisoning attempts. Now, headcanon-wise, I think he would have quite the list of food intolerances, stuff he would not inform his cooks, but just turn his nose to it. This boy is a ball of stress even though he doesn't show it, so indigestion, acid reflux, and general queasiness would be part of his daily routine.

Tartaglia/Childe

He used to be better than this, so much better. But his job as a fatui harbinger, the physical and mental strain, the constant traveling, by foot, by wheel, by sea, by wind, and the transformations. It's killing him little by little, but he refuses to acknowledge it even when his stomach decides to turn itself inside out and he can't keep even water down for who knows how long the next episode will last? If the stress wasn't enough, the foul legacy transformation is there to leave his health in shambles. There are days he can barely get out of bed because of how much it hurts and days when the pain is just a numb echo in the back of his mind.

Zhongli

I couldn't resist not putting him here. For the sake of the plot, he normally can deal with most foods and his stomach takes everything pretty well, but he has days where his human form is just unstable, and eating feels like an alien experience for him. Food doesn't go down, or it just doesn't digest, it tastes off, it hurts him, and that hurts him even more, for good food is one of the few reasons he's still living among the mortals. Being reminded of it, that he's not human, and he's no longer an archon, and that erosion will catch up to him sooner or later, just leaves him... hollow.

Albedo

He doesn't need to eat, necessarily, being a homunculus and all, or at least I headcanon as much. But he does so to blend in and feel any joy from tasting delicious meals. Canonically he eats spiders, so I don't he's opposed to eating strange combinations, or trying out concoctions just to know what it'll do to him. More often than not Albedo has trouble processing all the food he ate, sometimes even going past what he can hold, and landing himself in a pretty bad stomach ache. While he does overwork himself to the point where no human could survive, he barely notices when he's truly ill. Albedo also eats to soothe the constant queasiness and discomfort in his belly from not eating properly.

Xiao

He's about the same deal. Doesn't need to eat, and doesn't need to sleep, but in his case, he's not looking to blend in. Canonically he used to consume dreams, and now he eats the almond tofu because it reminds him of the texture. I think Xiao is just constantly hungry and suffering that hollow burning feeling in his stomach until he can find something to soothe it, be it snow or almond tofu since everything else always comes back up. His stomach just can't hold onto foods he hasn't conditioned himself to process over so many years. Xiao's stomach is probably very noisy for his size, but most don't seem to notice as he doesn't stay in their presence for long.

Thoma

He has had some bad encounters with Ayato's culinary before, and the semi-frequent stomach issues he would get from it have probably strengthened him over the years. Only to the extent where he can hide any discomfort for as long as he needs, just to keep the appearances for his lord and his lady. Thoma's also overworked to the bone, to the point where exhaustion equals a long period of stomach pains and queasiness.

Gorou

This poor boy. He works so hard, he thinks of others before himself, and he's there if anyone needs him, but ultimately he'll choose to suffer alone. Being a dog (I'm not all that sure where stands), his list of things he can't even dream of eating is extensive, so more often than not, his stomach is revolting against him for not paying enough attention, or for just opting to eat something because it was the only thing available. While he tries to hold onto to vomit until he just can't anymore, he'll end up hurting his airways in the process, spelling a long while of difficulty swallowing, heartburn, and more food deprivation because of it.

Arataki Itto

My beloved. This lovely Oni comes packed a shit ton of allergies, the worst of all being beans, where even a single one could spell death for him. This happens on an almost daily basis, where besides the almost instant anaphylaxis and the vomiting spells that come from actually consuming the beans or just coughing so much he ends up hurling, his throat and stomach are left completely sore and extremely sensitive. Itto has trouble swallowing and keeping food down after he comes out of a particularly serious episode of allergy. More vomiting on top of that just never let's his esophagus heal. On top of that, acid reflux, a sore throat, s constantly noisy stomach and chest pain are just realities for him, but that doesn't stop him from shouting everywhere he goes. A gassy belly and obnoxiously loud burps are also included.

Shenhe

She's been training in isolation, in the mountains, eating nothing but flowers. Naturally, she's constantly suffering from nausea and abdominal pains, but years of meditation and concentration have teached her on how to push those obvious signs of her body asking for help to the back of her mind. Shenhe can't stomach anything other than the divine herbs she had learned to tolerate, her stomach just rejects it, sending her into the worst vomiting spells she has ever experienced. But that doesn't stop her from trying, forcing herself to eat like a human, not an adeptus, for the sake of her new friends.

Kamisato Ayato

Exhaustion is this man's only weakness. Ayato works himself to near collapse when he needs to, and that only serves for a sluggish sickly Ayato when he manages to wake up. Only then he'll notice how long he's gone without food, and how now his stomach is loudly complaining. He might vomit from migraines, from going too long without proper sustenance, from sleepless nights, and as result, his stomach becomes more and more fragile with each passing day.

Welp, hello, here I am, back at it again at krispy kreme.

Ok, so, this time my crossover Idea that has to do with Sagau and Tears of Themis. Any one is free to use this crossover idea! Let’s go!

Now- I am not going to go too deep into story spoilers for tears of Themis, just a heads up.

So, Mc (Aka Rosa), is a lawyer, but it’s also shown she has at least SOME anime knowledge, so I wouldn’t really be surprised if she was a closeted Genshin player (She’s a Yanfei main: change my mind). She doesn’t play it extremely often, mostly just casually during her days off, but that is more than enough for our dear cult to get attached to her. ;)

However, unlike the Obey me crossover where Mc’s gets dragged into the game world, the Genshin characters instead wind up coming to Mc’s world instead. Mc is initially shocked by their appearance, because, I mean..who wouldn’t be?

Mc.. Honest to god has no idea what to do with them, but the acolytes quickly say that many of them won’t stay in her apartment long (Even if they want to spend as much time around her as possible, they don’t to be a burden to their creator. That just simply would not do!). The ones that do stay end up being the children and Zhongli (the ever loyal dragon butler lol-) with the children staying in the guest bedroom upstairs and Zhongli sleeping on the couch which happens to have a pull out futon (with Mona and Venti taking turns passing out on the coffee table like the broke bitches they are lmao). The others wind up creating fake identities and getting jobs (however they all tend to come and go from her apartment, no matter what she says). Here are some of the ones I came up with:

Yanfei, of course, winds up working for the Themis Law, with Mc saying that she was a “friend from law school”, and ends up making Artem extremely uncomfortable and jealous when he sees her constantly cuddling up to Mc or coming to her for help with a case she could obviously get done herself.

Albedo ends up becoming a chemistry major with a side major in art at Stellis University (and has begun a ruthless campaign to make Marius's life at Uni a living hell hehe). He also got into a staring contest with Vyn once in the hallway, which was very..tense and awkward.

Childe ends up actually opening up a toy store in Stellis, which ironically (or maybe unironically 👀 👀 ) winds up being near Luke’s “antique store”. Luke does not like him. At all. He’ll protectively stand in front of Mc staring him down as Childe looks absolutely ready to murder him with a smile on his face.

Ningguang and Diluc (with some side advice from Zhongli and maybe some..slightly less than legal financial backing from Childe but ssshhh don’t tell Mc) team up and with their unique business-savvy skill sets, become a business power house in Stellis within just a few months. And they always use any money they make to spoil Mc, any chance they get. This is how Marius finds Mc squished between two very rich business owners who were taking turns feeding her chocolate covered strawberries.

And there are probably many more possibilities as to what the cult genshin characters could be doing in Stellis! Feel free to add on ideas as to what jobs they could have or lives they could live whilst trying their best to get close to MC!

A smile plastered on my face, I'm so happy for them! My attention was stolen when Venti decides to say his idle line "Come on Traveler, let's go! The world is full of lost ballads just waiting to be rediscovered." I put my phone down then grab my controller again "Ok ok, I will pay attention to you now" I chuckled humorously "Good! Just don't make me murder your friends."

The moment he said that line, my thumb suddenly stopped pushing the joystick, did he just..... did I just heard that right? Murder... your friends? What does he mean by that? Someone never mentioned this voiceline of his, I should check the character icon. I clicked on the character icon then proceed to his voicelines, I checked every details but I can't seem to find it, maybe it's a bug? The fact that I was talking to my friends.... maybe Mihoyo intended it?

I shrugged my shoulders then continue to the domain to farm for talent materials. After countless of grinding, I started to have fun with his wind current while harassing random hilichurls for fun, I made him sat at the Barbatos statue "You finally came home..." I smiled as I touch the screen, Venti looked at the camera then smiled "That's so cute! He smiles when he looks at at camera!" I awed, I continue to fawn over him.

I woke up by the sound of my ps4 opening, the bright light illuminated my body, and to my surprise, my ps4 opened by itself "What the fuck?" I stood up from the bed then went to investigate it. The creepiest thing is that Venti is the only one in my party, and he is sitting at barbatos' hands, and then I remembered the hacked accounts in genshin, this could be a sign..

I hurriedly grab my controller then check my characters, all of them were Venti! I can't find a single character other than him! What's going on!? I check my weapons but they are okay, I checked my profile and nothing changed but my icon was set to Venti, i checked my primogems and fate but nothing changed, in fear of getting hacked, I contacted Mihoyo for customer support, I can't lose Xiao, I whaled for him! I restarted my ps4 then go back to sleep, in hopes that it will be resolved next morning.

I rubbed my eyes then stretch my arms wide, I look at my ps4 then my phone, I grab my phone then text on the gc

I put my phone down then open my ps4, I prayed to myself that everything is back to normal. Happiness washed over me when I saw that my original party is deployed "must've been a crazy bug.." I chuckled, I change my icon back to Xiao then continue with the grinding "Ooohhh timmie's birds" I smirked, I switched to Xiao then climb the nearest cliff, I glide then plunge on the birds "Free fowls!!" I exclaimed then claim the fowls, my character suddenly switched back to Venti, I didn't even press anything other than claim fowls "You know I'm getting impatient.." Venti said, again this was not even in his voice lines, then I notice that something is odd with my venti, he kept saying weird lines everytime my attention is drifted to somewhere else, could it be Mihoyo's doings? I hope so, I don't want a ddlc fiasco again.

After farming for his ascension materials, I quit genshin then read some fanfictions in Tumblr, I came across a Kaeya fanfic then proceed to read the contents. All of a sudden, my ps4's screen started to distort, my eyes widened at the sight of it, then a bright light surrounded me, making my head dizzy

"Traveler, you're awake" I woke up to a familiar voice reaching my ears, I blinked my eyes slowly to realize that I'm not in my room, where am I? My jaw dropped when the person I saw in my eyes is none other Venti, this is impossible! He's not real! "Venti...?" I tilt my head in confusion, there's no way this is real.... this must be a dream! The bard showed a genuine smile before putting down his lyre "I'm happy that you pulled for me, I will go crazy if you pulled for him instead, hehe." Venti had a patronizing smile after that, my eyes widened as I sat up "Venti? There's no way that you're real!" I said, feeling my empty pockets, Venti sighed as he stood up, he had his lyre in his hand "Come on Traveler, let's go celebrate the windblume festival." the God reached out his hand, I was reluctant to respond to his offer, he seems a bit suspicious to me, considering my ps4 sucked me in Teyvat. Not to mention, he said these weird lines when I was communicating with my friends, and my controller would move on its own when I'm playing another character "What are you waiting for?" A smile was om his lips, I took his hand then stood up "Ok, let's go." Venti giggled as he led me in Mondstadt, I gaze behind to see the Vennessa tree.

No way.... all of this seemed real... the designs.... the npcs.... all of them are accurate! The only difference is that I don't see control menu "Isn't it beautiful? Traveler?" Venti turned to me, I nodded with hesitant. As my eyes scanned the whole city, Fischl and Bennett were talking to each other, Kaeya,Rosaria, and Diluc at the same table, although Diluc seems poker faced, Barbara was performing for the crowd, Jean and Lisa are eating together, Albedo,Sucrose, and Timaeus are experimenting,Amber is seen gliding, everything seemed lively more than the actual game.... "Come on Traveler!" The bard took my hand without giving me time to consent.

The rustling sounds of the leaves snap me back to reality, it still feels like a dream, did Mihoyo said something about this? The atmosphere is so lively and different "Uh oh woahhh!! Watch out!" Amber then crashed into Noelle, I giggled slightly then turn to the bard who was playing the lyre for a small crowd, as the sweet melodious tone halt to stop, the crowd clapped their hands, I smiled a little bit as I made my way towards him "Did you like it?" Venti inquired, I nodded then smiled, the bard chuckled as he took my hand then led me somewhere.

I realized we were getting far away from the festival, perturbation washed over me "Venti.... where are we going?" sweat dropped on my temples, Venti looked at me with a menacing smile "Somewhere..."

He led me to starsnatch cliff, the breeze of the wind soothes my nostrils, I can't believe all of these are real.... Venti picked a Cecilia flower then hand it to me, I narrowed my eyes "Are you really.... real?" I gaze at his eyes

"I'm aware that all of us are just video game characters, that's why I'm a God"

My eyes widened as he said that, he tucked the cecilia behind my ear "Y/n, will you stay here forever..?" The bard took both of my hands, his puppy eyes gleaming, I do want to visit Genshin.... but that does not mean I will abandon my world

"Venti.... I have my friends and family there..." I said, I averted my gaze to the floor, his grip on me got tighter "Y/n, your world does not need you" his tone was a mix of devastate and anger "All you need is me, you belong here"

My eyebrows furrowed, what does he mean by that!? "No! I can't just leave everyone! My friends care about me!" I screamed in frustration. He then uses his anemo powers on me that sent me flying through the air "Arghh! Let me go!!" I desperately try to break free

"Don't you see that I love you? I don't like it when you control me everyday" Venti was feigning sadness on his tone

"Because you're never real!" I retorted back, a grin was marked on his face "I ever regret pulling for you!" I yelled. The bard went closer then cup my cheeks "So? You already got me, you did this to yourself" then his hands swayed, causing me to fall of the cliff, my life flashed before me, this is it....

Lavender Autumn (Kazuqing) Notes

Author’s Notes:

Hiya, this will be a first for me because:

1. I never used tumblr and I feel like I am probably gonna regret it, but hey that is future me problem.

2. I normally draw but I hadn’t drawn anything lately, or even post my art online at all, since 2018 and I have been in a huge burnout since then. The burnout is slowly fading but I can still feel it in me so I am turning my creative output to writing it out. Gotta say, this will be really interesting to see how I’ll do with writing. Maybe one day when I feel more confident I can share some drawings I made back then or just link my deviantart page here.

3. This is a Kazuha x Keqing ship (Kazuqing) that I have hopelessly fallen in love with and want to see more of. I will probably explain why I ship these two particular characters in another post one day.

Anyways, before I get sidetracked and ramble on like Yoimiya, I would like to inform you on what you can expect from what is basically my first story.

This story involves a slow burn of affection between Kaedehara Kazuha and Keqing. If you don’t like the ship well nobody is forcing you to stay but if you find yourself interested, hope you enjoy!

Timeline wise, it takes place a year before the current story of our travelers traveling to Inazuma and approximately 1 or 2 months after the Vision Hunt Decree was established in Inazuma.

This will be fun but challenging for me since I basically have to come up with a few unique scenarios for Kazuha and Keqing, besides events like the Lantern Rite, the Crux Clash, etc. But hey, this is a future me problem.

Here are the characters that will appear in the story as well my headcanon ages & heights for them:

Kadehara Kazuha: 21 yrs old, 5′ 5″

Keqing: 21 yrs old, 5′ 3″

Beidou: 27 yrs old, 5′ 7″

Ningguang: 27 yrs old, 5′ 7″

Ganyu: Appears 21 yrs old, is over 3000+ yrs old, 5′ 2″

Zhongli: Appears 27 yrs old, is over 3000+ yrs old 6′ 2″

Xiao: Appears 21 yrs old, is over 3000+ yrs old, 5′ 3″

Xiangling: 16 yrs old, 5′ 2″

Xingqiu: 16 yrs old, 5′ 3″

Chongyun: 16 yrs old, 5′ 4″

Xinyan: 16 yrs old, 5′ 4″

Hu Tao: 16 yrs old, 5′ 2″

Yanfei: 16 - 18 yrs old, probably older like Ganyu & Xiao? 5′ 2″

Qiqi: Appears 10 yrs old, is over 3000+ yrs old, 3′ 2″

Dr. Baizhu: 28 yrs old, 6′ 2″

Yaoyao: 10 yrs old, 3′ 2″

Tartaglia: 24 yrs old, 5′ 11″

Mona: 21 yrs old, 5′ 3″

The Traveler: Appears 16 yrs old, is over 500+ yrs old, 5′ 4″

Since I stated the story will take a year before the current story in Genshin where our travelers goes to Inazuma, just subtract one to the ages stated. Why did I stated this many characters and why did I state their height & ages?

Simple, I got about a “years” worth of scenarios for Kazuha & Keqing, pretty sure they will interact with other characters before the Traveler arrives. I wanna add some interesting scenarios involving other characters and see how they will interact.

As for heights, especially for characters like Kazuha, Keqing, Ganyu, Yanfei and Mona there are people in real life who probably has the same build as them. Despite the fact that their character models are basically the same as Xiangling, Chongyun, and any other character who have the same model height as them. Even the new character, Sayu, is stated to be about the age of a teenager but has the height of a child.

I just feel some of them are actually older than some like Kazuha who stated that “Though some sake would be nice” Sake is a Japanese alcoholic beverage where legal drinking age there is 20 yrs old. In China, you can drink alcohol when you are 18 years old! So I just wanna age add ages & heights that just feel “right” in a way for each character during the story.

Welp, I have rambled on just like Yoimiya but I just wanna state these things first before I begin posting the stories. I am uncertain how many chapters I will be creating, let alone know how long it will take for me to create the next chapter. But I hope whoever comes across this story will enjoy reading this. Also, please provide any kind of constructive criticism and writings tips that you think can help improve my storytelling & writing.

Genshin [Volleyball Team AU - Inspired by Haikyuu!] What it’s like to be their manager Headcanons

Note: I think a lot of people misunderstand the role of the manager XD It’s not that the whole team is dating you. It’s that the whole team treats you like their family/sister. So you’d better bet that all of them are gunna be hella protective of you XD

Scenario: What do you do for the team and what do they do for you? :D

Warnings: not proofread, fluffy, might have some swear words, platonic relationships

Characters: Zhongli, Diluc, Kaeya, Albedo, Tartaglia, Kazuha, Xiao, Tohma, reader as the team manager

Genshin Volleyball Team manager

It’s just fuckin’ chaos

On your first day you’re already bombarded with questions by Tartaglia and Kaeya

“So which class are you?” “What’s your height?” “Are you single?”

Captain Zhongli just cannot be bothered to reign them in anymore.

So Vice Captain Diluc does it and grabs their collars. “You idiots, you’re scaring her off!”

Possibly Kazuha and Tohma are the ones you really try to rely on, on your first few weeks.

So how do you gain the trust of your team? Let’s start with each player shall we?

#1 Zhongli (Captain/Wing Spiker/Ace)

Zhongli is just handsome and mature. He’s strict and needs to be the pillar of the team.

You’re intimidated by him the first few weeks and he just seems...a little far. He’s always so focused that you can’t seem to catch a moment to just chat with him.

There’s a day where you notice that his form is a little off, you suspect that he hurt his wrist a little.

You fidget uncomfortably in the gym as they practice, but finally turn to the coach “U-Umm... The captain is... I mean! I’m not sure, but... I think he needs to take a rest,”

The coach calls for someone to substitute Zhongli and suddenly asks you to check on him.

“Huh?! Me?!” the coach pushes you towards him, and Zhongli is just looking at you quizzically, you can practically see the question mark on his face.

“C-Captain, d-do you need some bandages on your wrist?”

Zhongli is taken aback, but silently puts his right wrist out for you to wrap.

Only when you’re done tending to it does he look you in the eye and ask.

“How did you know?”

“...Because I always watch, and all I can do is watch. If I can’t even spot that out then I’m not a very good manager am I?”

Zhongli has a newfound respect for you. He thought you were just a meek and shy thing sitting around and passing them balls but he feels his heart swell that someone like you is seriously watching over them.

#2 Diluc (Vice Captain/Wing Spiker/Defense Specialist)

Diluc is probably the second hardest to get along with or break the ice with.

But he gradually warms up to you when he notices that he’s always the first one you pass a towel and water bottle to.

You’re not doing that on purpose, it’s just him who always comes up first.

After a few days he deliberately goes to you faster cause he always wants to be the one to receive a water bottle and towel from you first. Secretly a puppy.

The moment he realized that you were reliable was when you stayed behind to help him practice when everyone else went home already.

You didn’t let up in your constant praise of “nice receive”, “great spike!” and “that’s so cool!”

He thinks he saw stars in your eyes at some point.

“Hey, Diluc, it’s getting late, let’s leave some energy for tomorrow, yeah?” he could tell from your mannerisms that you were tired too, but you tried not to let it show on your face and still cleaned up with him.

“I’ll see you tomorrow then!” you wave but you’re stopped by a quick. “No,” from him. You tilt your head in wonder and he just looks at you as if it’s the most normal thing in the world.

“It’s late, I’ll walk you home,”

#3 Kaeya (Middle Blocker)

You don’t have to impress this guy, anyone of the female gender impresses him.

safe to say it’s not difficult to befriend Kaeya, just bring him a cheering squad and some food.

all jokes aside the way to this guy’s heart is through his stomach.

He’s not a particularly hungry person but there’s this one time he forgot to bring lunch. He was running late, or something of that sort, honestly not something new for him.

He ALSO didn’t bring money so he couldn’t eat food from the cafeteria.

Ask his friends for money you say? Tartaglia would go, “Haha no way!” Albedo would go, “Let this be a lesson for you,” his brother would go “Serves you right,”

By club time he’s famished and dramatic. “Guys, go on without me, this is as far as I go,” as he sprawls on the gym floor.

You ask if he’s okay and he doesn’t answer so Diluc is the one that answers for him. “He forgot his lunch, as always,”

You make a sound of understanding and the next thing you know you’re taking out a lunch box and Kaeya has lifted his head up, sensing food.

“I packed onigiri for everyone today, actually... In case someone was hungry. It’s not much but--”

Kaeya comes alive from the dead and clutches your hands to his chest. “Manager you really are an angel,”

Diluc jump kicks him away from you.

#4 Albedo (Setter)

You also don’t know how to approach this guy

He always looks mad or stoic or something. Like he’s always thinking about something.

He low key actually is always thinking about play strategies and how to set the ball better for his teammates.

You really do think he works so hard while the game is going on, so you decide to help him out a little bit.

You watch a few more of their games and somehow come up with a list of what kinds of sets are better for each different spiker in the team.

There’s surprise in his eyes when you pass the document to him and modestly exclaim “...but, it might not be accurate, since I’m not that experienced,”

He still nods and says “...It’s the thought that counts,”

When he does read your report and try the techniques out he notices that it does hold some merit in it

Is amazed like how Zhongli is amazed. He thought you were just there to hand them bottles and cheer for them but he had never been so wrong as to what a manager’s role is.

Will trust you enough to ask you about his set performance.

Will sometimes slam Kaeya with an insult. “Kaeya, your spike sense is horrid, Y/N can read the moves better than you,”

#5 Tartaglia (Middle Blocker/Wing Spiker)

It’s not that he has a hard time trusting people but let’s just say he has the tendency to make you feel like he likes you but then he actually does that to everyone.

For example: He’ll throw compliments like “Oh that’s amazing Y/N!” but then back in the classroom you’ll hear him say “Oh that’s amazing!” to, like, every other person.

That kinda disappoints you cause then the comment doesn’t really hold that much meaning to it if he keeps on saying it to others too.

He encounters a crisis mid year because this guy is just... he struggles with his grades.

Captain Zhongli has told him he can’t play volleyball if he fails even one subject.

This boy is panicking and has semi-accepted this is the end of his volleyball career.

So you offer to study with him and he’s legit stoked.

Intensive and strict study sessions commence. Note taking, pop quizzes, surprise questions and even sudden random calls from you wherein you ask him a question and he has to answer within 5 seconds.

You’ve pulled all the study techniques you know here, this man better pass everything.

Welp, he still fails History....but since he worked so hard Captain Zhongli excuses it.

He’s so happy that he can’t hold back the stupidly wide smile on his face. He turns to you and for the very very first time in months, he bows and THANKS you.

You realize that he’s never thanked you before. Not even when you pass him water bottles or towels.

You consider it a win, getting rare and sincere appreciation from him.

#6 Kazuha (Decoy/Middle Blocker/Wing Spiker)

One of the easiest to get along with but at the same time, he’s so mature that you feel like you’re not even in the same age range as him.

Definitely someone you can count on though, so you ask him many questions on the first week.

Still, it’s one of those things where you can kind of talk to him but there’s still a wall between you two.

One day while walking around in school there were these boys who were commenting about his height, and questioning his abilities as a volleyball team member.

You didn’t really think much about it when you speak up, “But he’s a really good middle blocker and spiker,”

Those boys look at you weirdly and you realize that you’ve unconsciously spoken up. So you hurriedly walk away.

Little did you know that Kazuha was in some secret corner and heard the whole thing.

Just like that, the next day, it seems as if the wall between you two was gone, and you’re able to talk freely.

That, and he seemed to like asking you to help him practice his spikes and throw balls for him now.

#7 Xiao (Libero)

is deceivingly easy to get along with. Just has a rough exterior but is actually a softie if you squint.

You know this because there are subtle things he does.

He doesn’t speak to you much but then he would be the one picking up the balls with you, or sometimes there’s magically a new set of clean towels on the bench that you don’t remember taking out from the storage room.

This guy is passionate for the game, so he really beats himself up when he isn’t able to receive a ball during actual games.

You worry about his mentality sometimes. I mean, it’s a team game, it’s not like he alone can save the whole game

So you talk to him about it the other day

“You’re already a really good libero Xiao, I mean... I’m not saying you should stop practicing but you don’t have to feel so bad...” you pause because this doesn’t feel like the message you want to convey

“Sorry, what I mean is... You CAN feel bad, but share the burden with your team, you know?”

He knows what you’re saying and contemplates it for a while. He knows that his team has his back, but sometimes just needs reminder about it.

He looks at you and asks, “...Can I share the burden with you too?”

You blink “Huh?”

“You said I can share the burden with my team, but can I share it with you too?”

There is a blush on his cheeks at this point.

“Oh, yea! Of course! I don’t play but I’m still part of the team you know!”

Ever since then, during games, if he feels a little frustrated he’d glance at you on the bench and you’d give him a thumbs up for a job well done.

#8 Tohma (Pinch Server/Middle Blocker)

You’re like bffs the moment you see each other

You’re still awkward with him the first few days cause that’s just how first meetings are.

But he is very easy to talk to and always makes you feel at ease

Will always be the one to ask how you are if you need any help or if class was okay in general

Seems like the type of person to care more about others than himself

So he’s surprised when you come into the gym and you beat him to asking his usual questions.

“Tohma, how are you today? Did you have a proper lunch?”

“Tohma, are you getting tired? Want some water?”

“Tohma, how was class today?”

All the other members of the team turn to look at the two of you, thinking ‘Why does Tohma get extra attention?’

Tohma certainly doesn’t get extra attention you just TALK to him more. The other members deadass are also getting cared for by you, just in different ways.

This boy has some insecurities though, when it comes to playing the game. He hasn’t been in it for long so he’s the least experienced and that gets to him sometimes.

“Oh, really? But you play really well! I couldn’t tell that you’re new”

His serves are really amazing though.

“Also! You always score points for us with the serves. Sometimes, your serves are my favourite part of the game!”

Has practiced extra hard so as not to let you down.
