Any FORMER Shitbur Moot fans in need of someone to just coexist with? We can just like chat about idk art or pets or something if you just need to distance yourself from him.

I'm speedrunning to get up to speed on the situation by watching the responses n shubbs n stuff rn (her interactions with Tango during the empires crossover were adorable btw) so we dont need to discuss it i just want to know as much as possible so I know what's going on and what i should avoid

i abandoned the DSMP/SBI (i guess now QSMP) side of the internet in favour of going back to Pokémon (2009) and Hermitcraft (2018) about 3 years ago now so I dont really know much if anything other that "Tallulah" is now Phil's lil egg or something idk i sound like a boomer now feel free to infodump not Shitbur Moot stuff on me if you want to

For the record: I want to absolutely THUNDERCUNT him across the country like a wiimote into a Telly during a round of Wii Sports Bowling.

Im quite upset about it myself because now I cant watch a lot of older Philza related content that I enjoyed watching in my mid-teens (animatics, stream highlights, compilations etc) without a strong flare of anger due to them containing Shitbur Moot.

Nothing against the people making the animatics, compilations etc i just cant stand the thought of him let alone him being in content i wanted to rewatch.

quite literal shower thought, do not read into this too much pls

hello tumblr, i am simply here to make a proposal. (yes this is about dsmp, so please do feel free to ignore my mad ramblings here). but hear me out here, what if karl was able to control his time powers (gotta clarify i dont remember if he could do that or not), and what if hypothetically he were to use those time powers to go back to before the incident, and undo all the endings with the chance to potentially stop some or all of them from happening. now come on. would that or would that not be the coolest plot twist they could do here? ok maybe not, but like imagine stream 1 he finds out about everything thats been happening, and uses his powers to turn back the clock to before the incident, then in the next stream/s we watch as he tries to stop the egg ending and the nuke ending from happening, just like tales from the smp. like cmon, you cant tell me that wouldnt be cooler than just leaving it as is now. well ok yeah you can and maybe youd be right but i will smile and disagree because i like my silly idea and dont ideally want to let that server go yet:) or maybe im a total idiot and completely forget some huge arc in karls lore that makes this all impossible and/or illogical. that is entirely possible. see this is why i said not to read this lmao. well if it makes sense then i now have a record of me saying i think this would be cool and if not then i have a funny record of me being a dum dum. so win/win.

i feel shitty about it but i watched the lore cause its still the only thing i can think about. like im so intensely hyperfixated on the dsmp its literally like a broken record in my brain and eventually whatever im thinking about always comes back to the lore. i hate it and im guilty about it but i seriously dont think i could keep boycotting it because its seriously all i can think about. fucking sucks and im sorry but yeah.

y’know, being told stuff about what’s happening on the smp and wanting to either puke or cry probably isn’t a healthy reaction

i haven’t been able to watch dsmp content in like three months. i’ve watched a few technoblade streams but thats it

its not like. its to dark and i can’t stand it. no. i just. know that these characters i fucking as emotionally invested in for fucking... six? months? probably putting in at LEAST 80 hours into watching, writing, and talking about and then watch everything fall apart h u r t s

i miss hamilton drug rp. i love dream smp. i want to watch ranboo because i.. basically have never watched a full stream of his but he’s great. but also please making heavily lore-based content within a streaming format is actually gonna fucking kill me

i just CANNOT sit and watch full streams. i cannot shake and sideglance at my computer during dinner because i might be missing a moment in the history of dsmp. i cannot sit there under a thick blanket while sweating just so i can hide my phone and watch a stream.

i just fucking want every dream smp member to post their vods. i want to see people be able to edit them into manageable episodes. thats what i wanted to do back in August or so with Tubbo, and last i looked he’s still missing SO MANY OF HIS VODS.

seriously please. fu. fucking. this is what i miss wilbur for the most. edited down videos. i still watched every stream vod before hand but i don’t need to rewatch them now because i have the videos.

its.. unreasonable that you have to watch probably three or four streams a day to keep up on lore and storylines and details. especially when these are streams anywhere from 2-8 hours long.

I think that every Stream should eventually be edited into a video. Include the lore. include the comedy. give us some simple editing. give us the fucking highlights please before i have a nervous breakdown

#dream smp's formatting is critically flawed in it's current state #this past year i put more of my life and my emotional energy into block men than myself and seeing bad shit happen to them #and seeing these characters get hurt or off-course is just. upsetting??#i don't fucking know. i don't want to watch the streams or the vods. thats more content. i cant. i dont have the motivation #i don't want to watch the vods or the streams or take the effort to sit down and look for them and then sit through hundreds of hours #karl is the only exception to this and i do plan on going back soon #but i just. please. my head hurts.#dsmp critical #dream smp critical #but not really since i.. have been here since before sad-ist animatics and before niki. since the hto dog van.#i just. please. it feels like it spiraled into WAY to much #seriously.. consider the hermitcraft approach. improved but planned meetings and calls during video recordings and planned encounters #but imrpvoed lines and outcomings. make it recordings. no music or chat or donatoins on the screen or overlays. a recording.#FUCKING DO THE JOE HILLS APPROACH. stream with facecam and read out the donations or whatever else but plan segments where you stop #turn it all off and record a clip #its not staged but its planned. you get on the call. you know its happening. and then.. you still have fucking vods of the funny good shit #dsmp #dream smp #dsmpblr #mika-posts #dream smp rant #dsmp rant

Once again, the c!Dream Defenders are in Denial™ and I've Just found out what their take is on the whole Logstedshire confrontation is.

"c!Dream wasnt there for c!Tommy, he was there for the Axe of Peace and ran into c!Tommy by coincidence." With some people also having the balls to say "the writers made a plot hole bc how was c!Dream to know the Axe was there?"

...its Probably because he wasnt there for the axe! Listen I can accept the coincidence part as there was no way for him to know 100% c!Tommy would be at Logstedshire (then again he found the chest so he must've realised the items were Tommy's and he'd be arriving?) but like

There was No way him immediately going to Logstedshire and waiting had anything But ill intentions. Like you said, he had No Way of knowing the Axe of Peace would be there.

And when c!Tommy arrived, c!Dream stood waiting, broke his nether portal to not allow him to escape, and then welcomed him "Home", welcomed him Back to Exile. He was Ready for that shit lol .

Why did he stay and wait? Why did he fill the hole back in? Why did he wait behind the Nether Portal?

And Once Again, people are clinging onto "c!Dream is obsessed with getting peace and c!Tommy is in the way" No???

1. c!Tommy has Barely been active for literal months. He isnt doing Anything I Promise.

2. c!Dream knows Damn Well c!Tommy isnt the one stopping "peace". He's literally just come back from being tortured by c!Quackity and held in prison by c!Sam who he just watched murder a guy. If anything he'd think they're the issues? And they're the ones who hurt him. But no, he went straight to c!Tommy because he missed messing with him and likes tormenting him.

3. c!Tommy has Never been the one stopping peace. In every single one of his and c!Dream's wars c!Dream has been the main instigator (and if you dont want to accept that can you at least accept he was Just as much into the wars as c!Tommy was? the wars were Not one-sided, please I started watching the DSMP for these two I Know c!Dream Loved being a part of those little wars) and he would break rules himself, rules were broken before c!Tommy (I'm going to record c!Dream encouraging the burning of the Lemon Tree I stg) and he would ignore others breaking rules.

3. Can we Please leave the "Exile is revenge for c!Tommy breaking rules/c!Dream thinks he's in the way of peace" shit behind it's Just victim blaming lite and also not true . Stop erasing early c!Dream's chaoticness he never cared That much about rules and peace and certainly does not now (and if that's cc!Dream messing around then that means it's also cc!Tommy and you cant pin that on him being more chaotic than anyone else. Giggles)

People are also just. Blatantly ignoring CCs at this point. cc!Sam has said c!Dream laughed after killing c!Tommy (both in character And out of character multiple times) and c!Dream Apologists

1. Said c!Sam was lying

2. Said cc!Sam has no say on c!Dream

And then the cc!Sam comparing c!Dream to that one guy from You which got backlash.

And now cc!Tommy straight up saying "why is Dream obsessed with me" and that ONCE AGAIN being brushed off as "he's just in character ofc he'll think that" and Again the "he has no say on cc!Dream's character"

It's one thing if a CC who isnt that involved in his lore is saying this stuff just from some clips they watched - but Sam and Tommy directly work with Dream for the lore. Tommy has been writing stories with Dream for over a year. You're gonna accuse Tommy of not knowing c!Dream, really? The main person who works with him? Good Lord. I've never seen denial stronger.

(The "c!Wilbur said everyone is morally gray why are you ignoring CCs word?" people are the one doing the above too LMAO. Which is also funny bc it's not even what Wilbur said, he said he Wanted the story to be morally gray which. Implies it's Not anymore.)

I'm not even gonna go into the bullshittery that is "c!Tommy was hallucinating c!Dream" and "c!Dream is just projecting his trauma from c!Quackity onto c!Tommy"

Dsmp Headcanons

So ngl I've been really into the dream smp recently and I've been doing a bit of art for it so why not give my headcanons? Also all of these are for the characters not the content creators

Notes: the song referenced in Karl's headcanons is seasonal feathers music box version. This is all I have for now. I’ve lurked around the fandom since about early February and beware this is fucking long

WARNINGS: In some of these I do mention dead parents(various), death in general and as an entity(Philza), alcoholism(Schlatt), and traumatic experiences. None are in detail but just beware. Oh and a slight suicide warning for Dream

DREAM

Dream got his mask from his father and Drista got hers from their mother

His mask is specifically a gift from his mother after his father died

Dreams mask is infused with dreamons. His parents made a deal with a few dreamons and the dreamons now live in the masks

He will never say what his eye color is because he doesnt care, but if you can catch him without the mask you'll see his eyes are an amber color

He watched his mother commit when he was about 12~ and when Drista was 6. At the time he didnt want to understand why

WILBUR SOOT(plus Ghostbur)

Wilbur's mother is a fox hybrid(cause ya know I live by the saying that canon is my sandbox and a fuckin fridge doesnt make sense)(Momza anyone?)

His beanie is from his mother along with his love of singing

He has records of his parents singing

He has wings it's just that he never learned to fly

Ghostbur can see various other ghosts he just doesnt realize that no one else can see them

Ghostbur has selective amnesia. He genuinely cant remember parts of his life but some moments are too vivid to forget

FOOLISH GAMERS

He can partially shapeshift to make himself bigger or smaller(23 fuckin feet tall without changing height)

His son, Foolish jr, is biologically his and Jr is a demigod

Jr is too small to see the world yet so Foolish keeps him in an enderchest

Foolish is fully a god

He really likes turtles no damn reason

Aside from keeping his son in a chest, Foolish is a relatively good dad

He's a very good builder and rarely takes time to sleep when hes working on a commission for someone

He is most certainly strong enough to break the egg though he doesnt want to get involved for his sons sake

SAPNAP

He is a hybrid blaze born

BBH found Sap in the middle of the Nether playing with a few baby piglins

He met Quacky before Karl but Karl is the reason the three got together

TECHNOBLADE

Dispite how loud the voices can be sometimes l they can be rather peaceful. They really only get violent during fights

(Based off my techno design) the skull techno uses as a mask is a hoglin skull

Personally I dont think Philza adopted Techno as a son but Techno kinda became friends with Philza when he was just a kid

Techno was a very small child: especially in comparison to the village he came from in the Nether

Piglin hybrid piglin hybrid

Does not know who his parents are all he knows is that his glasses are from his mother

He has a baby sister(the two are half siblings; they have the same dad)

He literally doesnt need the glasses he just keeps them for the aesthetic and because its the only thing he has from his mom

He has a soft spot for Michael and Michelle since all three of them are forms of piglins

FUNDY

He has very vague memories of his mother

Looks stupidly similar to is grandmother; momza

He has a picture of Philza and Momza on their wedding day

One day when he was just a kid,like 14ish, he found an old sword that used to be Philzas and just never told Phil that he took it

KARL JACOBS

He's time traveled less after getting engaged to Quackity and Sapnap

Most of the books he writes never see the light of day again

Some of his books were actually found by one of Ranboo's descendants(not Ranbob)

One of his more scary experiences is when he accidentally met Dream when he was little. Momma Dream almost killed Karl

He's slightly immune to the effects of dreamon possession

He once found an old music box within the inbetween and he hasnt found a name for the song on the music box

PHILZA

He's known as the Angel of Death, or Deaths Angel for a reason(go look at @resonating-kitty s headcanon post about this. Ngl I love it and think it needs more attention)

After the 'death' of Momza, Philza swore to never love till he met Death once more

He remembers a time where hybrids used to be a lot more common: humans will fuck anything remotely humanoid

He doesnt remember if he has parents. By the time Wilbur was old enough to ask about them Philza made up the story that his parents went on to greet death when Wilbur was a baby

He's the reason for Momza's 'death'

SCHLATT

I really like the idea of Schlatt being Tubbo's dad even though it probably wont be canon

When Schlatt was little he watched his father but heads with other ram/sheep hybrids(he found it very funny)

He has a horrid tendency to headbutt people he has strong emotions towards

How hard he headbutts you really depends on what emotions he feels in that moment. The more loving/kind the emotion is the softer he'll be

When in a good mood Schlatt would let Quackity touch his horns

Glatt is a dick head and he knows this. He plays it up to piss people off even more

He comes from a rather large community of ram/sheep hybrids though his family in particular was a little violent

Schlatts first name is Jamison

He has a small ram plush from when he was little: his mother gave it to him before she died

His mother was an alcoholic before him though she was a very sad drunk

THE ERET

Herobrine is their cousin

He is very willing to do next to anything to succeed at something

He doesnt remember his family name

As a kid Eret's mother used to tell them stories of kings and queens. She told them that they could be a ruler one day if they worked hard enough

Their mums name was Elenora

GEORGENOTFOUND

(Based off of @/sctbrr on Twitter. I adore the au they made off this) George is a reincarnation of DreamXD's past lover.

Heterochromia heterochromia

His eyes are brown(left) and blue(right)

His clout glasses allow him to see color

RANBOO

Because he can’t remember his other half he doesn’t know what all he can/can’t do

Though one thing he’s noticed is that he can see much better in the dark than actual people; doesn’t know if he’s half enderman or his other half

As a kid he would pretend to be a dragon with someone. He has a feeling that the person was his father

He has two crowns. One from Techno and one from his mother; it’s one of the few things he genuinely remembers from when he was little

He sees a lot of Tubbo in Michael

Speaking of Michael, the lil one is only about three

TUBBO

He doesn’t know who his parents are and really only saw Philza as a father figure

He’s a ram hybrid like Schlatt

For the longest time he thought bees could understand him

I've heard so many things about Last Life that I wanted to check it out, but I'm not sure how. Is 3rd Life a separate thing or a first season of sorts? Is the format edited youtube videos rather than streams? Whose PoV's would you recommend? If it helps with the PoV, I have never watched anything Hermitcraft related and my favorite streams to watch are Techno, Phil or Ranboo's.

so, basic summary, 3rd life is the first "season" and then last life is the second, but you dont need to watch 3rd life if u wanna watch last life first!! theres a lot of the same creators in both and occasional references but its otherwise unrelated

all of the episodes are on youtube! its released once a week, they all record at the same time a few days earlier, but no streams, so its really easy to catch up :)

povs: uhh im heavily biased and just gonna say the ones i like, but for 3rd life id rec scar and grian, and last life big b and cleo! that being said, u might be more familiar w scott if youve mainly been in the dsmp so thats also an option

no cause I need to talk about the potential of dsmp!basti or my head will literally explode I’m serious.

so, canonically, the real event Minecraft Mondays is referred to as “The Monday Massacres” in dsmp. a massacre generally refers to a mass killing, commonly in very brutal ways, implying to me, that either civilians - people watching the events - or participants went down in numbers during the events, grotesquely dying to each other’s hands.

basti, as well as quite a few dsmp members, participated in minecraft mondays (as well as minecraft saturdays). in a few of techno’s mcm vods, he makes one or two remarks on basti, saying that he doesn’t know who he is, but he knows that he’s pretty good. mcm 11 is actually one where technoblade lost his number 1 individual placement to basti’s temporary team mate aqua, but got his place on the top podium back quite fast. now, what is my takeaway for my dsmp-related hc for this? easy, technoblade was a player in the monday massacres, feared for his abilities, and in relation to it being a massacre, his lust for blood. basti also participated with his original team mate Papaplatte, and slowly became a worthy oppenent to techno. unlike the real life circumstance of papaplatte going on a vacation during mcm 11, and because we need more casualties for this to be a convincing massacre, because the people of dsmp who were all in mcm are obviously still alive (except for wilbur, kinda), i say that c!papaplatte died and then aqua teamed up with basti to break techno’s record and push him off his high horse. now, you know techno, you’ve probably seen the potato war trilogy, he wouldn’t let a single failure be stenciled on his persona for eternity, so he trained hard, and took down basti for good, killing both him and aqua (and I know it makes no sense with mcm continuity but i like to pick and chose what i consider for my headcanons okay), becoming the best player once again.

and what happens to c!basti after gruesomely dying? unsure, honestly, but his body being robbed of his wealth goes hand in hand with the disturbing nature of the Monday Massacres. the mcms 12 (one after 11) and 13 (when cc!basti returned to mcm) happen around august/september 2019. bad discovers the egg in december 2020. while at the moment im unsure how the passage of time is warped in dsmp compared to when events happen in streams, but i’m positive it makes events in canon last longer than they do in streams (do correct me if i’m wrong). so, either the old villa of sir billiam still stood back then, belonging to a new, shitty rich man, who the people finding c!basti’s body sold it to for a few diamonds, so it could be fed to the egg. or, they had dignity and gave him a proper burial, and the bloodsoaked body came in contact with underground vines that pulled the body toward the egg so it could devour it. but, i don’t think it just ate basti’s body - i think the egg is actively hosting the body, having healed and re-grown it, waiting for it to be ready to hatch.

it seems very out of pocket, and like im trying to shoehorn my favourite streamer into dsmp, but i have a nice parallel that goes with him being in the egg.

on the very left is the skin, that basti worse during the mcm era, or at least around mcm 11/12/13. he’s had a few skin changes between left and middle, but the all white skin came with him hitting 500k and releasing special occasion badlion client cosmetics for his viewers. those included a cape, shield, and wings. butterfly wings, to be exact.

the shape of these wings would also carry over into Zickzack v2 (the cosmetics line is called zickzack, which is a word that basti’s associated with largely through a pvp project, but he’s been using it for a pretty long time)

but, currently, we are on zickzack v3. and zickzack v3 is special, because...

they’re a red edition, going perfectly with the theme of the egg, and references to blood and violence (the skin he’s wearing in my current pfp is a temporary v3 skin btw, i like it bc it looks like the red is slowly soaking up his skin, it’s a nice gradient). so, over time, after mcm, basti is taking up the appearance of a red butterfly, as though he’s slowly becoming one. as though he is turning into one, inside the egg. and ik it’s an egg, but hey, it may as well be a weird shaped cocoon.

another point i want to bring up at the end, though you have to take my word here, is that cc!basti can be pretty damn determined to prove a point when he’s sure he knows something (/lh). like, let me tell you that one time, during a minecraft challenge he got mining fatigue on the highest possible level, and went “btw guys you can actually break blocks with mining fatigue, it’s a myth that you can’t. i’ll show you.” and proceeded to place an obsidian block, take out a stone pickaxe and mine it. and he mined it until hsi effect went away and he had no more way of proving his point but to tell people that it is in fact possible.

and well. if c!basti is determined like his counterpart, determined enough to prove he is the best player and the best fighter in the world, and if he’s determiend enough to get revenge on techno, then maybe he’ll sit out egg time for that. btw disclaimer cc!basti isn’t as win-focused as i made his counterpart seem just now gdgs just saying that bc i dont want there to be misconceptions about him.
