Can I please request something for lord Debling. He finds a wife who also wants a practical marriage, she was in love once but had her heart broken so now she's just looking for practicality as she doesn't want to be feel that pain again. Once married they make a deal that once she is definitely pregnant, that he can leave on his 3 year expedition and even add the lost time that it took to get pregnant as he was supposed to leave right after the wedding (like in the show). But he comes back after a month cause he missed her and realized he might be in love. She's still sceptical but with the birth of their son things might change her heart .

I knew this marriage to Lord Debling was a good match for him and I.

We both were looking for a practical marriage, as he wished to travel and I wished to stay home with the children.

When he proposed to me, I knew that he would be the husband for me, as I was not looking for love.

I thought I found love when I was first looking for a husband. I fell in love with someone whom I grew up with.

Our mothers would talk about our wedding, and how we would have such beautiful babies, and that we were meant to be.

I still remember hearing his mother's words clear as day. "Falling in love is the greatest gift of all."

I completely agreed with her until he came over to tell me that he was breaking off our engagement.

I was left shattered as he told me he had found someone else to marry. By the look on his face and how he talked about her, I knew that he was in love.

He walked out of my home and my life, married her, and now lives not far from me.

I had to watch them be as happy as I thought him and I once were, and the moment I found out she was with child, well, I shut down.

My cousin Penelope is the one who brought my attention to Lord Debling.

At her wedding to Colin Bridgerton, I was sitting at the table by myself, not interested in standing off to the side with the other single woman, or standing there with my mother and her sister, my aunt Portia Featherington as they gossiped.

As Penelope sat down next to me, I gave her a fake smile, but she could always see right through me. She placed a gentle hand atop of mine and squeezed my hand.

"I know of one man, if you are interested." I cut her off, "I am not looking for love right now, Penelope."

"He isn't either. You must have heard of Lord Debling."

"I have."

She told me all about him. How he wanted to travel, and that after his wedding, he will be gone for three years. That his wife will be at home, tending to her duties.

"I will meet him for you, dear cousin."

Penelope smiled and clapped her hands, drawing attention to the two of us. As she basked in the attention, I tried to hide away, as I was sick of the pitying looks I got.

Lord Debling and I met, and he told me what he what he was looking for in a wife.

"By no means am I looking for love. I just wish to have a friend to come home too," and that sealed the deal for me.

He courted me only for a short time, and my marriage to him is happening tomorrow. I am happy that I will not grow old alone and just like he wanted, I am glad to have found a friend along the way.

LORD DEBLINGS POV:

Her and I were dancing, all eyes on the two of us, and she gave me a soft smile as she looked at me. I gave her a soft one back.

"I shall leave once you are with child." I told her.

"But your trip, my Lord."

"Please call me Alfred. We are married now."

"Well, Alfred, your trip."

"I will go once you are with child, and if you do not mind me adding on how many months it will take for you to be with child."

"I do not mind at all, but I do not wish for you to hate me because you are postponing your trip."

I stopped the two of us dancing, and I stared her right in her eyes.

"Nothing you could ever do shall make me hate you."

I was very serious about that.

Seven months.

That is how long it took her to be with child.

During that time, we got to know each other better than I thought we would. I learned her hobbies, her favourite books, what made her happy.

Once I found out what her favourite flower was, I made sure to have a fresh bouquet brought to her bedchamber once a week.

It always warmed my heart to see her smelling the flowers. How her eyes seemed to light up when she would thank me for them.

Even though I have no interest in decorating our Manor, she made sure to include my input in each room. "You live here too, Alfred, even though you will be gone for three years. This is still your home."

I never thought of it like that. I just didn't care how my home was decorated, but she took great pride in it.

As each room was completed, she would show me, and I was stunned at how she did make sure to include what I would mention.

It didn't matter if it was the colour of the furniture, a painting I mentioned I wanted hung up in said room, or just a piece of furniture. It was there.

I did not realise it at the time that I was slowly falling in love with the woman whom I had married.

She was standing next to me, as I was leaving in a few moments. I placed my hands on the small bump, wondering what our child would look like.

"You come back to me, Alfred." She softly said.

"Nothing will keep me from you and our little one."

I cupped her cheek, and her head turned to kiss my gloved palm.

I kissed her forehead, and I could see the sadness in her eyes as she closed them. It looked like she was fighting back tears.

"It is time, my Lord." I toon a step away from her, my hands leaving her her body, and her own hands went on her stomach.

I got in the carriage, fighting the urge to look out the window, as I knew I would stop and go back to her, making up some excuse about not wanting to be away from her.

I have been gone for only three weeks, and I wake up every morning thinking about her. If she liked the flowers that are still placed in her room.

If she has enjoyed the gifts that I have sent home, or if she has got them yet.

If she has kept busy without me there.

If she misses me like I miss her.

The last thought made my stomach twist, and I pushed that feeling back, thinking about this trip I am on. This adventure I have waited so long for.

But I knew my heart wasn't in it anymore.

And I fought with myself each and every day until I finally declared that I was going home.

That I needed to be with my wife and unborn child.

I had to tell her that I have fallen in love with her.

My staff were stunned to see me come running up the front steps in the middle of the night. I had a rider go ahead and warn them I was coming.

"Lord Debling, we were not expecting you. Is everything all right?" My friend and butler, Jonathan said to me, as I looked around my front foyer.

"I must see my wife."

"Lady Debling is fast asleep." He said as I ran up the stairs, on my way to her room.

"I must see her." I became almost frantic the closer I got to her door.

Just as I was about to knock on the door, it opened, and there she was, tired and angry at all the commotion. She was about to ask what was going on when she saw me standing in front of her.

She looked me up and down. "Alfred?"

She reached out to touch me to see if I was really here or a figment of her imagination, "I am really here."

"Why are you home? Is everything okay? Did something happen?" The questions were just flying from her lips.

"I would like to be alone with my wife." Our staff left us alone as I walked into her bedchamber, and she closed the door behind her.

"Alfred."

"I am okay, I just needed to come home to you."

"Alfred, I am okay. The baby is okay. I am due any day now." She said as she sat on the edge of her bed, and I sat down next to her.

"I know, but while I was away, I couldn't fight my feelings anymore."

"Feelings?"

"Before I left, I was falling in love with you."

"This is not how this marriage is." She stood up, her hand on her lower back as she walked to be closer to the fire.

"I know, and at first I was happy just to have a friend to come home too, but I got to know you, really know you, and even though I tried to fight it, I fell for you."

"I have been in love before, and he broke my heart, and my soul." I got up and grasped her hands in mine.

"I know, and I promise to never do that to you."

I placed her hand over my heart. "Do you feel that? My heart only beats for you. I am not asking for you to tell me you love me right now, but I want you to know that I love you, and no other person with ever take me away from you, my Lady Debling."

"Shhhh, my little Theodore. You are safe now." I looked down at our baby, who was cooing at me. She was in labour far longer than I knew a woman could be in labour for.

She was being tended to by the midwives and the doctor. I refused to leave her side, but when she screamed for me to get out, I listened to her.

When her water broke, I called on her cousin Penelope to come and be with her, knowing she would not want me in the room with her.

Colin came, and him and I have long put aside our animosity towards one another.

Once Penelope came out, carrying little Theodore, Colin congratulated me. "How is she?" I asked Penelope.

"She is doing well. She is being cleaned up, and then you will be called upon."

The both of them left, as I sat there waiting to be allowed in to see my wife.

Once I was allowed in, I placed Theodore on her chest, and she kissed the top of his head, his hair colour matching hers.

"He is just perfect, darling. I am so proud of you." I kissed the top of her forehead, and she looked up at me and gave me a tired smile.

"Alfred, I should have told you this before, but I love you."

I kissed her with as much passion as I could muster.

"I love you forever and always, my darling lady."

phantom troupe: do they snore?

this idea for phantom troupe hcs came to me randomly at 2:00am last night so enjoy xoxo

-probably not unexpected but not really

-he’s generally a super quiet sleeper

-the loudest he ever is in his sleep is breathing loudly on occasion

-his lack of snoring is most likely attributed by the fact he’s a very light sleeper

-he’s one of those bitches who will wake up because the whistling of the wind was slightly louder than usual

-his ass sounds like a heavy metal concert when he sleeps

-his snores are earth-shaking. ear-splitting. pain-inducing.

-his snores single handedly contribute to noise pollution

-think of how loud your dad snores and x1000

-if the troupe members have to share a room at any point during a mission, they will throw a whole rock paper scissors tournament to see who’s taking one for the team and sacrificing their sleep (it’s usually nobunaga)

-because covering his mouth with a sock doesn’t stop the snoring, the troupe have an emergency weighted blanket on standby

-the complete opposite of chrollo, this man could sleep in an active war zone and and not budge an inch (in other words you cannot wake his ass up by force to get him to stop snoring so the only option is to wait it out or sleep somewhere else)

-the most silent sleeper ever

-not even a peep from miss pakunoda

-the ideal person to share a bed with. she doesn’t snore, her breathing is inaudible and she’s extremely still

-almost unnerving in a way bc she looks dead when she sleeps

-if you were to share a bed with her you’d probably spend most of the night checking her pulse to ensure she is actually alive and breathing

-he’s one of those people who when he snores the buildup is super loud but he exhales quietly (i hope that makes sense)

-ljke the buildup is super dragged out like hhhHhhhhhhUUUHHHUUUH but the exhale is just hoooooooo !!

-idk how to express snoring via text so you may have to act it out to know what i mean

-honestly this type of snoring is arguably worse than uvogin’s bc at least his is consistent whereas phinks will give you hope that he’s finally stopped snoring until it starts up again ☹️☹️😢

-he will forever deny he snores tho

so today is my birthday 🎊🎉🙌

and it got me thinking about an angsty phantom fic (I love torturing this boy and my self as well 😢) what if the ghouls held birthdays like summoning days or something and phantom previously witnessed everyone throw Aurora a huge party and when his birthday rolls around and nothing happens he thinks they all know it's his birthday but since he's like a replacement he's not worth celebrating he gets all in his head during the day and messes up during practice anf gets yelled at by dew and judged by the othees so he spends his birthday night silently singing happy birthday to himself

(If you wanted to do a longer story or a part to you could have like aether call and ask how phantoms birthday go and everyone's like birthday "What birthday? And they realize that they had forgotten his birthday and yelled and pressured him on his b-day, and they all make it up to him) just another idea I love your writing style! ❤️

“Happy birthday..”

Aurora’s summoning day was merely a day or two ago, the pack had thrown a huge party for the girl, filled with treats and laughter, happiness and joy. Phantom enjoyed celebrating his friends 2nd birthday, aside from her real one. He wondered what everyone would do for his birthday…which just so happened to be today!

Phantom was very excited, it was his summoning day, and him still being new to topside, and slightly naive and innocent…was kept wondering what his pack would do for him. And how fun and exciting it would be. His tail swayed behind him excitedly as he stretched, getting changed into his given uniform before walking into the bus’s common room, where Rain and Swiss were.

“Goodmorning!!” Phantom chirped happily, “..morning, what’s got you so excited for?” Rain asked confused. Phantom tilted his head confused. “Do you guys know what day it is?” He asks, Swiss shrugs and says “it’s Thursday.” Causing Phantoms ears to droop. “Oh” he mutters, walking away. He walked to Aurora’s room, the two were close given they were summoned merely days apart. He knocked on her door, eagerly waiting her reply. She would know what day it is! She’s got to have something planned for him. He just knows it. Her door unlocks and she peeks out from behind the door tiredly.

“Goodmorning Phantom…uh, did you need something..?” She asks, very confused. Phantom’s poor ears droop even more. “Oh, Uhm..nevermind..” He says, Aurora only nods before giving a small smile and closing her door again. Phantom walks back to his room, slightly upset. Maybe they were gonna throw a surprise party??? Yea. That’s what they’d do.

Band practice came around quickly, for the upcoming ritual they had tonight. He walked off the bus, seeming to be the last and walked into the venue. Searching for where everyone was, quickly finding them by their loudness and foolish behavior, like a bunch of cats. “Ah, Phantom it’s about time you showed up, yes?” Copia asked, announcing his arrival so they can start practice and soundcheck. Phantom merely nods before getting into position.

Phantoms thoughts began to spiral, he wondered. They must’ve known it was his birthday, right? The day he was summoned, everyone knows when the packmates are summoned, their all there to witness it. So how come they aren’t celebrating or wishing him a happy birthday..? Was it just because he’s a replacement? But, Aurora’s one too…so why did they celebrate hers but not his..? Was he not good enough? Did they just not care? Tears began to well in his eyes underneath of his mask, but he quickly shook off his tears, making a few mistake in the process causing the song to stop.

“For fucks sake Phantom get it together! What the hell is wrong with you? You were perfectly fine yesterday and now you can’t find the right chords??” Dewdrop yells, and the others simply look at him with disappointed faces from beneath their masks.

“I-I’m sorry I— I didn’t mean to-” phantom tries to say, “fucking save it and fix your shit.” Dew snaps. Causing phantom to quietly whimper. Did they really just…not care about him at all??..he sighed. Fixing his grip on the guitar and getting through the rest of practice.

The day went on like normal, no celebrations, no happy birthdays..nothing. Although Papa had called him over, pat him on the shoulder and said “it is your birthday, yes? Cheer up and have a happy day.” Which made phantom feel just slightly better about the day.

He still had hope that the pack would do something for his birthday, anything at all it didn’t have to be big. The Ritual had come, and it went on well, although Phantom was lacking his usual energetic kitten energy, seeming tired and just not his usual self, earning glares from the other ghouls. It hurt, they really didn’t care about him, not a single bit. He thought they did, they were so nice to him. What did he do wrong to make them all hate him so suddenly…? Judge him and yell at him, and not celebrate his birthday..?

Soon enough nightfall came, Phantom ignored any after ritual games or chatter and went straight to his room, taking off his uniform and mask and changing into comfier clothes. He was so upset, so abandoned. Why was he here? What was he even here for..? Phantom sighed, looking at the clock. “11:33PM” the exact time he was summoned a year ago. Tears welled up in his eyes as he grabbed a large cookie from his bedside and a stick, using a lighter to light the stick, and place the cookie on the floor.

“Happy birthday..to me…h-…happy birthday…to me…” phantom sings to himself with a cracked voice, trying not to cry. “Happy- birthday..dear phantom…happy- birthday..to me..” phantom cries softly and quietly as he blew the fire off of the stick, and ate the cookie softly through choked silent sobs. His tail curled around his waist. Why did they hate him? What did he do so wrong?? Why were they having fun doing other things and not celebrating his birthday..? He shook his head, he was just a replacement. So what was there to celebrate at all..? Phantom cried himself to sleep, instead of enjoying his birthday like he should’ve.

The next morning, Phantom stayed in his room. The pack members were all gathered in the bus common area talking with Aether on his daily face call. “So, how was the birthday?” He asks suddenly. The pack looked confused. “The birthday?? Aurora’s birthday was fine, she loved it. Why?” Cirrus asks. Aether furrows his brows through the face camera. “No, not Aurora’s. Phantoms. How was phantoms birthday?” Aether asks again, being more specific. “Phantoms…birthday? What do you mean…?” Rain asks confused.

Aether’s face drops through the screen, before yelling. “You forgot his birthday?! You didn’t- you didn’t do anything for him? At all?! His birthday was yesterday!!” He yells through the phone. And the packs faces all pale. “…we yelled at and judged him— on his birthday…? We forgot his birthday…?” Swiss asks, mainly to himself. “Oh Satan, you forgot the poor boys birthday…” Aether sighs. “Listen…you better make it up to him. Because knowing him he’s probably overthinking everything, thinking you all hate him. Make it up to him or your all getting an earful when you get back from tour.” Aether says sternly. Ending the call.

The pack looks at eachother, nodding. Simply coming up with an idea in merely seconds. It was a travel day, so they didn’t have to leave the bus. They had some left over decorations from Aurora’s party. And since the Ghoul’s always get presents for their packmates ahead of time, they already had gifts for phantom. Dew decided he’d be the one to collect phantom from his room after everything was set up. And so the ghoul’s quickly got to work. And within half an hour, a perfect party set up was done.

Dewdrop walked to Phantom’s bunk room, knocking softly on the door. “Hey, Babybat are you in there?” He asked softly. He heard a soft groan in response, not an ‘im just waking up’ groan, but a ‘why are you here..?’ Groan. Dewdrop carefully opened the door and walked into Phantoms bunk, phantom sat there fiddling with the spade of his tail, looking up and making eye contact. “Hm..?” Phantom hummed in question.

“Come here real quick bug, I’ve got something for you.” Dew said Phantom cautiously and limply got up, and followed Dew. “Close your eyes bug” Dewdrop said to him, and Phantom did as he was told. And when Dew told him to open his eyes, his eyes immediately sparkled with hope and happiness.

“Happy birthday Phantom!!!”

If we notice in the webtoon, Taylor and Ben are the only ones who have not been seriously injured...

Aiden was crushed

Tyler was impaled

Ashlyn had a concussion

Logan ended up with a big cut on his side

Do you think something worse could happen to Taylor and Ben?

I think eventually all of them will face some sort of serious injury, so I highly doubt Ben and Taylor will be safe. I think ashlyn and Logan will also get more deadly wounds soon (hope Logan is first in line 🙏)

But I do find it interesting that they are the only two unharmed. Especially since they had a mini romance going on in S1. awwww I miss them 😢

Whats also interesting is how impulsive, destructive, and agressive Taylor has been lately as well as her increased screentime 😈

We’ve also unfortunately seen Logan get a lot of panels lately as well. And idk if u guys remember S1 but Tyler, ashlyn, and Aiden were the ones who got a lot of attention. But now that Tyler and Aiden are out , the attention has shifted to Taylor and Logan. But not Ben!!!!! (I want more Ben screentime, fuck Logan no body gaf what’s going on with him 😒 tell me ab Benny boy NOOOWWWW!!!!!!)

my point is Taylor or Logan may be the next to experience a major event. They’ve also been the ones exhibiting the most “phantom traits” , MOSTLY Taylor tho. also there’s a few other things that point to Taylor being in harms way very soon.

but basically the signs are telling me Taylor is gonna go through smth much worse than what’s happening rn. Back to Taylor and Ben’s relationship tho. Ben always tries to give back to things that treat him well, idrk how to word it. In S1 Taylor is very considerate of the whole group, but there are a few instances where she focuses on him.

in S2, ben mirrors this act by physically protecting her and attempting to comfort her to the best of his abilities

taylor leans into this comfort and support, even if it’s only by a little. taylor needs people, and ben can easily become her person. they both value their family and friends a lot and are willing to put their lives on the line/distance themselves if it means protecting them. they both have lost someone who has guided them out of a dark time in their life to the phantom dimension. they both are kind hearted people who are gentle. they are both a pea to someone’s pod (Aiden and Ben, Taylor and Tyler). they understand each other better than anyone else.

Ben cares about Taylor a lot. we don’t get scenes of them like we do with aidlyn anymore, but we do get little snippets. he is willing to protect her , even if it puts himself at risk. HE COVERED HER COMPLETELY WITH HIMSELF!!! HE DIDNT EVEN COVER HIS HEAD OR ANYTHINGG IGHWHEHA!!??? He had been holding her in place ever since the phantom had started chasing them. HE CARES SM IT HURTS ME.

ben has been such a neglected character, but I don’t think this was for no reason. I believe Ben’s time will come. I was honestly expecting a reaction out of him when Aiden ‘died’ but we got aidlyn so idrc 😈🙏. anyways a lot of people want to see Ben tweak AND I DO TOO!!! but you also have to remember, him not getting mad and bearing with the situation shows how much he has grown from his past. Ben has intense anger issues that he’s HEAVILY ashamed of. keeping himself in check is already hard enough with day to day triggers, but add his new phantom situation onto that? mans is STRUGGLING, but since it’s in silence no one ever talks ab it 🙁 we’ve seen Tyler crack under this pressure, Logan getting madder, and taylor has gotten angrier too! ashlyn is more stressed and tired than angry, and Aiden is having fun most of the time. but Ben? he’s been trying his absolute hardest to not flip out.

so that combined with his affection for tay, if something bad really does happen to her, I do believe it will be his final straw. There’s only so much self control a 14 year old has (even though most adults would’ve went insane by now). Whether Taylor turns into a phantom or she gets injuries/dies, it will hit Ben HARD. Tyler will also be affected, but I really hope it doesn’t overshadow Ben. Losing Taylor would mean Ben wasn’t able to protect her like he wanted to and after Aiden also got hurt, I don’t think he would be able to take it. I think it’ll also extremely upset him when he finds out his family got caught in the crossfire of the kidnapping.

I was thinking about it, and we might actually see ben use his voice out of desperation. I really hope we don’t, bc I think ben not being verbal is nice representation, it’s so important to his character, and I love seeing how ben expresses himself without words. but I honestly wouldn’t be surprised if he used it to call out to someone. The way this scene (⬇️⬇️) is worded is like, “he CAN (might even) talk, he just doesn’t WANT (have a reason) too”. i really hope he doesn’t, but it’s definitely a possibility 😢 especially if we get a ben centered arc that’s caused by his anger and the loss he’s experienced.

All in all, I don’t think Ben be the next one to be injuried really, but I do think Taylor will. And Taylor getting hurt will finally open up a arc centered around/that includes ben 🙏

hope red gives us the craziest angst we've ever seen for them two and then kills Logan 😛

…Isn’t it a bit late for April Fools Day?! 🤡🤣

I was going to just write a few snarky remarks in the tags, but fuck it… I have a bit of time on my hands right now, so let’s tackle these somewhat disingenuous statements one at a time shall we? Starting from the one in the top left hand corner, and working our way anti-clockwise around… *Cracks knuckles*

1. Yep. SO nice in fact, she doesn’t have any other noticeable character trait. ‘Niceness’ by itself doesn’t make you an interesting, intriguing or compelling character… it just makes you boring. In fact, I’m gonna have to work pretty damn hard to finish this off before I nod off just thinking about her… 🥱

2. …And this is a GOOD thing? It just proves how much the writers were DESPERATE to make her Chloe’s replacement they rushed virtually everything to do with her, including her rapid induction to ‘Hero’. Most of the other Miraculous users had to wait AGES to get their chance, and Lil Miss Perfect just turns up in Paris and gets her chance virtually the first day. It wasn’t earned, it wasn’t believable… it was just handed to her on a silver platter because… reasons. 😩

3. So what? This is just yet more evidence that this girl, a TOTAL STRANGER up to S4 is all of a sudden being treated like the queen of all Mary Sues. Just listen to all the endless shilling about her from the rest of the cast (especially Marinette and, more depressingly Plagg) Now imagine them said in Thomas Astruc’s voice as he lays his case against Chloe… and everything should become clear.

4. This means virtually nothing. Everyone gets their Miraculous permanently at the end of S5, so the fact she gets her’s 5th is just down to a quirk in sequence. If anything, I’m surprised she didn’t get it sooner… in another gratuitous ‘Take That’ to diehard Chloe fans… 😬

5. I don’t even have anything to say about this.. it calculates the precise sum of 0.00% in terms of her worth of a character. You got anything better?

6. Oh, you mean the same acting ‘skills’ that she used to manipulate her sister into pretending she ‘loved’ her and to carry that useless charm about?The thing is, everyone might’ve SAID her talent was great in that AWFUL Queen Banana episode… but it actually wasn’t. Just because the other characters say she’s the next Sophia Loren, doesn’t mean the viewers don’t have eyes and ears. But I guess if they’re stupid enough to fall for Lila’s incredibly obvious lies when the plot demands it, anything’s possible…

7. What, you like her colorful shoes? This is possible the only one I’ll grant you (they ARE pretty snazzy) but at the end of the day, they’re just pointless aesthetics. Anyone else could be wearing them, and the garish colors can’t blind us to her all-conquering mediocrity. Moving on…

8. Here’s a hint: NEVER use the word ‘objectively’ when the opposite is clearly true. She’s not just ‘sweet’, spending time with her is akin to being pinned down in Wonka’s chocolate factory being force-fed candy by all the Oompa-Lumpas until you literally explode. Not a pleasant experience in other words, thanks to the writers laying this sole facet on with a literal trowel and shovel.

As for the ‘sass’ part… nope, not seeing it. Unless you mean the occasional scene when she ‘deals’ with her sister… these parts were obviously only put in to throw red meat for the Chloe-hating sheep out there could hoot and holler at the screen (probably waking their parents up in the process) whilst screaming “SEE? THAT’S WHAT YOU GET!!” Well, I hope you’re happy now. You hapless lame-o’s.

9. Mary Sues don’t get ‘character assassinated’. They get bigged-up, cheered, given every resource in the show to be Da Best… but NEVER wrecked in that manner. Her sister, on the other hand… 😢

I would argue though, that what she is, is WORSE than character assassination… she’s an individual that never should’ve existed in the first place. In fact, I’d barely even describe her as a character. A plot device, a waste of space, a product of Thomas Astruc’s inexplicable raging hatred against Chloe maybe, but not a serious character. As the popular meme goes, Change My Mind (you won’t).

10. …You’re REALLY scraping the bottom of the barrel now, aren’t you?

I’ve already done a whole post thingie about how her being a lesbian and having a short-lived crush on Marinette was just imposed to get unearned brownie points from underrepresented communities when they won’t actually do anything with said revelation, so I’ll keep this short. 12. Whatever you’re smoking, can I have some of it? This is crossing the line from ‘delusional’ to ‘crazy’ now. She’s remained as static as a statue since her opening episode, has NO room for change and growth due to the fact she was only brought in to replace Chloe and in that uncomfortably dull niche she’ll stay. Sorry, but just because you wish that she’d had any kind of interesting development doesn’t mean she has. Facts have a funny habit of getting in the way of the truth.

13. In turns of ticking boxes for diversity, French-Americans aren’t exactly a high priority IMHO. But sure if you think that makes her the bees knees (pun intended), you go ahead and celebrate it. 👍

14. So in conclusion, I do agree that Zoe Lee is indeed ‘Best’ character… (hears sharp intake of breathes all round) oops, I’m sorry. What I meant was ‘Pest’ character… in that just having her buzzing about in all her flawless Mary-Sue glory makes you just wanna reach for the bug spray.

You know, like you would for a pesky wasp during a delicious picnic. Because she’s Vesperia, get it? 🤪

The only upside to this sad situation is, from what I can tell (being strictly a non-watcher these days, you figure out why) the writers half-agree with me.

After all for such an 'amazing' character who's apparently achieved so much in her short time in the show... why is she barely featured? They must know, somewhere down deep in their artistic brains, she's a narrative dead zone.

A collection of tiresome off-the-shelf quirks, traits and spare parts (someone here said she was like a bad fanfiction self-insert... ABSOLUTELY RIGHT), loosely held together with visible stitching and hastily assembled together like Frankenstein's Monster for the most cynical of reasons.

She has no arguable reason to be in the show, apart from being a far inferior replacement to the potential mine of character development that someone like Chloe could've represented.

I guess Thomas really does hate complex characters who may overshadow his precious Marinette... or school bullies who traumatized him so much as a lil kid he specifically wrote someone into his show he could subsequently and systematically destroy (as the rumors go... but it wouldn't surprise me with THAT guy).

Now I’m off to bed, but let me end on at least ONE positive note for this much-maligned individual: She’s EXACTLY the kind of character a show like Miraculous Ladybug deserves… and if you like her, you deserve her too.

Exactly you are right both Rukiyui and Shuyui are my beloved ships and I really really love these ships from the bottom of my heart.

I have a lot of favorite fluff moments for Shuyui and Rukiyui. My favorite Drama CDs are Zero, Bloody Bouquet and Daylight.

I shed tears in the Daylight series. I remember that Yui was afraid of death, but she didn't want to tell Ruki about her fears so as not to annoy him. Ruki hugs her and asks her to cry and tell about her fears because she doesn't have to keep everything to herself anymore. Ruki knows very well that Yui has endured a lot of hardships and does not want her to suffer more and even told her lie that he will continue his life after her death. He decided to follow Yui after her death. This is really beautiful 😢😭🥺💘.

Regarding the games, I feel that Shu had feelings for Yui from the first game, but was afraid to express them. Because after Reiji killed Yui, Shu decided to bring Yui back to life and continue to love Yui despite her blindness. Although this ending was one of the bad endings, it is one of my favorites. I can understand Shu's big love with Yui.

Let's not forget Dark fate. When Shu stood up to Karlheinz and told him I will not let you or anyone else hurt her. He called Yui his family and started a new life with her and Ririe. Do I need to say that Shu has repeatedly said that his life has no meaning without Yui? Yui brought back Shu's sense of vitality and happiness and taught him to love again. We all know that Shu got depressed after Edgar's death and forgot all his feelings. The only one who could return Shu's feelings was Yui.

What should I say about Rukiyui? Even though More Blood wasn't the best, I loved how Ruki called Yui his angel and decided to betray Karlheinz to prove his love to Yui.

In the season of Dark Fate. Oh my god when Ruki read Yui's letter and cried. Let me tell you, Ruki is my type and I know very well how hard it is for us INTJs to cry. People with this type cry when they are really broken. The moment Yui said I miss you, I could hear my and Ruki's heart breaking. At the same time as Ruki, I wanted to cry 💔😭.

As someone who used to be human, Ruki has forgotten his feelings, Yui is the one who can rekindle these feelings in Ruki. Even Ruki who was a spoiled and selfish nobleman. They are truly made for each other.

This moment. I was so proud of them in this moment. Ruki showed how much he cares for Yui and love her.

HI I HAVE A COUPLE OF QUESTIONS 🙋

1. What would Monty's reaction be to Stink? Y'know, once the big guy is fixed and not acting like a sewer rat. Will he help take care of him?

2. Are we going to get a oneshot of Morgan and Monty interacting in any way? Maybe Morgan seeing Monty be slowly repaired with every visit and even helping when they can, or after he's fixed and they go home together where they talk things out and have a heart-to-heart conversation? I like to imagine ""The Big Talk"" happens on the way back home in Morgan's dinked up truck after a few minutes or even hours of painfully awkward silence and a bit of strained small talk, but seeing Monty's reaction to Morgan's home and us even getting to know what it looks like would be nice, too! I think seeing the home or living evironment of a character helps me understand them better, plus it's just interesting.

3. A bit of a continuation of my previous question- what does Monty think about Y/ngineer not being his soulmate? Will he ever find out what Morgan did to Y/ngineer? If so, how will he react to it? I can't remember if he even knows they're soulmates with Sun/Moon/Eclipse, so how will he feel if he saw them being affectionate, whether he knows or not? Is he over Y/ngineer and ready to move on with Morgan? On the other hand, what does Morgan think of Monty being their soulmate, Monty in general, and about having an animatronic for a soulmate? I can't remember if this was ever discussed, I apologize if so.

4. Will we get an update on how both Roxy and Chica are doing on the farm that's set a couple of months or so in the future, after everyone is repaired and the dust has settled? Will we get a little fluffy look into their daily life, relationship and how they both react to farm work? Or rather some hurt/comfort when the sky is depressingly dark, the house is dead quiet and the memories and phantom pains won't stop? I miss my girls. 😢

5. Could you share some thoughts you have for a potential oneshot with Cassie and Roxy? Maybe a bit of hurt/comfort with Cassie visiting and comforting Roxy after, y'know, everything, or seeing her when she'll all fixed up? Will Cassie get to meet Chica? (I'm assuming Cassie has a mother that's still around so would that make Chica her 3rd mother? 🤔)

6. How is Maddie? I think we had brief mentions of her near the end but I hope she's doing well and spending enough time with her dads! Juggling repairing 5 animatronics, taking care of a baby, and planning for the future must be overwhelming for Matt, even with Y/ngineer, Eclipse and his parents there to help him. :( Will we see Y/ngineer or/and Eclipse play with little Maddie? That would be so so cute! I suspect the boys didn't see a lot of infants in the daycare. 🥺 Speaking of... how did Maddie react to the long trip to Twin Falls? She's is an angel but I assume she didn't take the move too well.

I honestly think he'd be scared of him at first. like not over the top screeching but he'd refuse to hold him, and he'd freeze when hes put on him. eventually hed have a begrudging respect for stink bc stink likes to bite

Oooh that really puts me in the mood to write about them! Maybe Ill do a oneshot tonight for morgan & monty :)

He isnt stoked about the fact that they arent soulmates, he was starting to feel pretty sure that they were. but he isnt distraught over it - its more of a workplace crush than a real true "i need you" crush. He'd be pissed that morgan did what they did to them, but at the same time, hes done some pretty bad shit to people he cares about too - its another thing they can relate about. he sees morgan trying to be a better person and respects that. If monty were a human man he would 100% be morgan's type down to a t. however, they arent the monster fucker robot lover the y/ngineer is, so it takes more time for them to get used to the idea of a giant crocodile machine being their soulmate. it gets easier they longer theyre together, and the more they get to know each other!

I might write a oneshot for it possibly, along with cassie coming for a visit!! :) it'd be touched upon in the sequel if I ever write it!

tbh I have less ideas for these guys than I do other characters (mostly bc roxy is a mother NO DRAMA and no drama means less story hddsf) but I could see myself writing a oneshot where cassie comes and sleeps over with her dad's permission!

Maddie is doing wonderfully! She's a little angel and her grandparents are watching her while Matt and the gang make the move to the new home! Matt will drive back and pick her up once theyre settled in, so it isnt too much for her. Once shes there and all settled in, Eclipse ends up watching her most of the time while matt and y/ngineer run the shop. After someone sees him doing so well with their kids at the playground while babysitting maddie, they ask him if he runs a daycare, and he decides that YES, he does! Which is how Clear Skies Daycare starts! :)
