When Shoyo came home from university for the summer, he expected his sweet younger step-sister to run into his arms and hug him dearly.

He didn't expect to open the front door, walk to the tv room and see you sitting on a boy's lap, giggling and exchanging kisses.

He watched with hard eyes as you were distracted and it took him clearing his throat for you to separate quickly and jump up. Your eyes widened with excitement (even though you were very much embarrassed) and you ran up to him, hugging him and trying to kiss his cheek softly.

"Sho-nii! You're a day early!" You said, stepping back. You watched his expression, face blank as he stared at your boyfriend and then at you again.

He catches himself and relaxes his face.

"Princess, how are you? Who is your friend over here?" He smiles, eyes sparkling with its signature glow.

"I wanted to tell you over lunch haha.." you laugh nervously, looking between the two of them.

Your boyfriend stands up and bows politely.

"I'm Ryu Kuroo, I attend the same English academy as her. nice to meet you."

Hinata notices they're around a similar height, the boy taller than him. He already knew all this stuff, he knew about your boyfriend from his extensive daily Instagram, Twitter, Snapchat and Tiktok stalking. He noticed the new follower a month ago and the new way you'd text and tweet and the songs you began to listen to.

You're adopting his music taste and it made him sick, music was your thing together.

"Nice to meet you, Tetsuro-kun's brother I assume? Volleyball player?" Hinata asks

Ryu's face drops at the mention of his older brother but lights up again at the mention of volleyball.

They sit and talk about the sport and you watch in fascination. You hold your boyfriend's hand and Shoyo watches attentively. He notices the body language, and the comments you throw in.

God you were a slut, probably lost your virginity to this sleaze. It should've been Shoyo. But he knew you knew that too. You were seducing Shoyo, best of all you did it in front of this phoney!

Finally, you were coming to your senses! You wanted Shoyo like he wanted you, you were telling him that with your body language.

It was confirmed when you said that Karasuno had the better team, that Shoyo was proof of it. Your type wasn't just any volleyball player, it was Shoyo and him being a volleyball player was a cover up. You clearly wanted the next best thing.

He'd help you realize that over the summer break, just wait and see
