- It was a Monday morning and the blinding sun shone through the thin curtains of your boyfriend’s room. Your heavy eyes flickered open as you woke up to the sound of your boyfriend clicking away on his controller. You rubbed your eyes to get a better view of the pretty boy that sat in front of you on the edge of the bed. “you’re awake..” Kenma averted his gaze from the screen to the sound of your voice. He paused his game for a second just to start clicking away again a after he sighed a small “yeah..”
you stretched your fatigued body that felt so stiff, it forced you to want to stay within the sheets of Kenma’s bed. And the scent. The scent of his bed smelled just like him, you just wanted to snuggle up under his covers and sleep all day. Though it would be even better if Kenma would join you. Unfortunately, it’s a Monday morning, and unfortunately, you’ve missed too many days to miss anymore. “Kenma.. we should get ready for school..” you sighed and looked over to your boyfriend who’s focus was still on the brightening screen.
Kenma realized that he was up all night playing video games and never got the chance to cuddle with you. The room got brighter when he moved the curtains just a little bit as he looked out the window, welcoming the sun into his room. His eyes winced from the sudden brightness meeting his eyes. “Ugh.. so annoying.” Oh.. how you know Kenma hates mornings more than he hated gravity. And you yourself did too. The both of you were never morning people.
“Why can’t we just stay home and cuddle for the day? You’re better than sitting with people I don’t care about..”
It was hard to resist his request. It was a bold one for him so you knew you had to say yes but… your mother would kill you for missing school. Maybe she’ll let this one slide. Just this once. No, you had to go… you were too scared of making your mother mad. “We can cuddle for just thirty minutes then I’ll have to get up.. I can’t miss anymore days.” Kenma rolled his eyes as he set down his controller and turned off his TV. He joined you beneath his covers and wrapped his arms around your waist.
This man.. It’s almost as if he wanted you to fall asleep on purpose. The way his fingers threaded themselves within your tangled hair and the way his warm body felt up against yours. It all just made your eyes feel heavier and caused your body to relax completely. You looked up into kenmas eyes and they looked so soft and gentle at the moment he looked down into yours. He placed a small kiss upon your forehead and continued to gently play with your hair as he looked back into your eyes. A color of pink danced it’s way across your cheeks as you nuzzled your head into his chest as a sign of looking away in embarrassment.
“Just stay.. please.” Kenma spoke with a voice so soft, your eyes finally fluttered themselves shut from the angelic voice meeting your ears that were still slightly pink from the kiss he had planted atop of your forehead. You hated how you were so easily flustered when you were with him but that was one of the many things he loved about you. The way Kenma’s soft voice sounded, it was like a lullaby. That, and the way his gentle hands felt tangled in your hair caused him to successfully get you to fall asleep. Kenma then leaned his head down so that your foreheads were touching as he chuckled softly.

"Damn, guys, calm down. She has a boyfriend, okay?" He mumbles.
"And I love him." You add, pecking his cheek before making the mix to bleach his hair. "Ya' ready?"
The now red boy nods as he gets comfortable in his chair.
"Okay, I need you to stay still, yeah?" You tell him before putting on the first bit of the mix.
Surprisingly, he did. He stayed still while playing CoD with Kuroo and Hinata, with little jumps then and there but nothing you couldn't control.
"Ken, we gotta wash your hair." You say after letting the mix set for a while.
"I finish this song and go, love." He answers as he plays OSU! "Goddammit, why is this thing so hard?!"
You chuckle and get to the bathroom to get the water to warm up.
When he gets to the bathroom, you tell him to get on his knees so you can wash his hair in the bathtub. You dry his hair with the towel, brush it, dry his hair with the dryer and brush it again.
"I think I never colored this perfectly before." You chuckle as he looks himself in the mirror.
"This is great, love! You can't even notice that it's not my real color! And my ends fade with the new dye. I was really scared of that." He says, tying his hair in his characteristic middle ponytail. "Imagine me with two tones of blonde."
He turns around and hugs you tightly before kissing you.
"I love you~" He whispers.
"Love you too." You answer. "Go back and flex your new color, I'm gonna make dinner because someone has to feed the #1 streamer."
He smirks and kisses you again before doing as told.
Maybe you can dye his hair more often...

a/n: holy moly, i've been gone for what? Two months? Good news, my thesis is done and now i've only have my graduation to deal with before i can finally go through my summer break! I hope you guys enjoy this!
You and kenma met on one of those gamer central discords.
You streamed cozy soft games in your downtime while kenma is one of the more popular streamers on the internet with millions of fans.
You honestly thought he wouldn't even notice you in the sea of small streamers.
But then he spotted your familiar username on the server and decided to dm you.
He told you how much he loved watching and chilling with your videos in the background.
And the rest was history.
You've been talking on discord for a few months now, and you've gotten on calls with him just to chill and play some of the cozy games you would usually play on stream.
Your latest obsession was animal crossing.
You would stream yourself designing and terraforming your island with soft music playing in the background.
But since your fanbase doesn't precisely line up with kenma's, you both decided not to collab for the time being.
After all, kenma didn't want his fans to find out how much of a simp he is when he plays with you.
Every time he visits your island, he would always have some kind of hybrid flower in his inventory and he would plant it in your garden.
So basically, kenma made his own little garden in the corner of your island.
Kenma would pick up weeds and clean up some debris if you asked.
Do you need something for a certain build? Kenma would go through hell and back just to get you that item.
"huh? I thought you didn't have this kitchenette recipe?" you said as his character dropped the recipe in front of you.
"oh? I traded 100k bells just for the recipe-"
"excuse me, 100k BELLS?!"
Eventually, kenma realized his feelings for you, got tired of pining, and decided to do something special for his confession.
Usually, he would get on your island after you're done streaming and just walk around and clean up some areas.
But this time, he intentionally asked for a dodo code (which notified you on your bff app on your nookphone)
Everyone in your chat was freaking out.
'holy- is that kozuken?!'
'KODZUKEN AND (Y/N)?!'
'I SHIP IT!!'
You initially thought it was a misclick, a mistake. Maybe he was supposed to join someone else's island but accidentally messaged you instead.
You frantically messaged him on discord in which he reassured you that his message was for you and that he wanted to just hang out and maybe vibe on call.
So you got on a discord call and continued to relax on stream.
Once the hype in your chat died down, you decide to continue terraforming and building while kenma ran around your flower gardens and did his own thing.
You looked up at the sky to see an unannounced meteor shower in the sky.
You were in awe.
Before you could start wishing though, kenma's voice cut through the comfortable silence.
"(y/n), can you come over to your garden? I did something for you," he said, hearing the small smile in his tone.
Your chat was on the edge of their seats as your character ran to the other side of the island.
What awaited you was something you didn't expect.
Kenma's character sat in the middle of the huge flower bed, the words "date?" spelled out in purple hyacinths. The sky twinkling with falling stars.
Everyone in chat was going crazy.
But you could care less about the rapid speed of the chat right now.
"a-are you serious?" you whispered, your mic almost not picking up your voice.
"of course I am..." kenma replied before hesitantly pausing "I mean, unless you don't want to-"
"no!" you exclaimed, almost jumping out of your gaming chair in delight. "I'd love to go on a date with you!"
Your views hit an all-time high that night and you and kenma's names were trending on twitter the next day.

kenma kozume being a sugar daddy has been on my mind a lot lately. so have some fluffy headcanons of sugar daddy kozume. 🎀 words can’t even explain how much i am absolutely in love with this man.

- kenma would be the type of boyfriend that would give you money if you don’t have any for the vending machine or he’ll buy you something as a small gift if you’re ever feeling hungry.
- kenma would also be the type to buy video games that remind him of you so the two of you could play together. he would also buy you small gifts from game stop so he could see that cute expression of yours light up in pure joy.
- but ever since you got married, it all went from vending machine money and small toys as gifts to luxury bags and red bottom heels. kenma made so much extra money that he didn’t need so he gave it all to chanel and dior to surprise you. kenma is bored and couldn’t care less about where his money goes, he just wants to show his love to make up for the time he doesn’t give.
- he kinda has an addiction to buying things for the people he cared for (especially you) that if you were to have his baby, he/she would be dolled up in baby dior. that baby would grow up to be spoiled as hell so make sure you learn to use the word “no” if they start asking for too much or if kenma’s the one that’s giving too much.

- kenma would sometimes reassure you that he’s doing this all to make you happy no matter how many times you tell him to stop wasting his money. he’d say something like “it’s okay i don’t mind.” or something like “i just want you to be happy.” and you’ll go with it of course since you love him and you’re great full too.
(you better be.)
- kenma is never one to go out but if you were to ever ask to go somewhere to eat as a date, then you better wear your best silk dress and heels. he doesn’t get to spend much time with you due to work so when he does he’s going to make the time count. he’s taking you to a formal dinner.
(but i’d say his go-to date would be watching a movie or any kind of at-home activity.)
- why not give him something in return? bake him an apple pie with a side of fried apples and a glass of apple juice to wash it down. now that hits to spot for him every time. and there you go. you just earned yourself a pearl necklace.

Kuroo always thinks back very fondly on his time at Nekoma (how could he not?). When he started working at the JVA, he formed a little group of new acquaintances and friends with other new hires, and one of the questions that came up, naturally? Was that of their experience with playing volleyball. His coworkers know that he has been playing since childhood, and only stopped once he graduated from university. So all his early coworkers have heard about his time at Nekoma, but the later colleagues, funnily enough? Get there because accidentally, Nekoma produced quite a few players who went on to lead very public lives. Kuroo-san, how do you know the famous Kozuken? What, you two have been on the same volleyball team from elementary to highschool? Kuroo-san, it’s great that you got supermodel Lev Haiba in on this campaign, how’d you do it? What, he was your junior on your highschool volleyball team? Kuroo-san, did you know that Div 1 hitter Yamamoto is an alumnus from your school? Huh, what do you mean you were his captain?? And Olympic libero Yaku Morisuke too?? And so on and so forth. So, it changes over time - and he finds it rather amusing every single time.
As for leading a team of adults at a work place compared to leading a volleyball team in highschool - the stakes are certainly different, the goals too. Kuroo is fairly independent in his workplace, but when he has to work with people? He excels at it now just as he did then. He knows what motivates people, knows how to get under their skin (although he has to be more careful and diplomatic about it, at times), and more importantly? He excels at connecting people together. Whenever Kuroo has to create a team around him, he knows who he wants to work with, how he’s going to work with them, and how he’s going to get them to work together - even those that seem incompatible at first glance. So, because the stakes and goals are different, it is perhaps more stressful, at times, more formal too... and therefore more challenging. But once in a while, when he gets a really great team together to pull off one idea or another that serves the wider, wonderful cause of volleyball? It’s freaking awesome.
It’s not secret to anyone that Bokuto is a bit of an oddball. A routine is not exactly something anyone would expect him to follow... and to be fair? Bokuto doesn’t really have a fixed routine - not in the way more rigorous people like Sakusa or Ushijima might. He is more flexible than they are -- but there are things that Bokuto feels he needs to do within the day that he won’t budge on, and they are all related to his volleyball career. Bokuto isn’t too fussed about what he eats in the finer details, or what exercises he does within a day, but! If he doesn’t eat roughly the same family foods that he knows give him all his energy? If he doesn’t get at least one good run at some point during the day? Then he gets a little annoyed, and grumpy. It doesn’t matter when he goes for a run, but it matters that he does go for one. Bokuto has a mental checklist of things that need to happen every day to keep him in top form, and if he is not too fussed about the order in which they happen? They do need to happen somehow/eventually/at some point. So there is space for flexibility, for leniency, for improvisation and spontaneity - but there is also a keen awareness of “wait, I haven’t done my jumping reps yet!”.
And if there is one tradition Bokuto follows religiously: it’s to take a picture of the volleyball court before every one of his games and send it to his sisters in their group chat, with a caption that reads ‘cheer me on!’ or ‘ready to go!!’. It’s completely unnecessary, because 1. they’re often at his games, and 2. you’ve seen one volleyball court? You’ve seen them all. It’s okay, Koutarou, they know what a damn volleyball court looks like, no need to spam them one or twice a day when it’s tournament season!
