did you watch the new episode of the amazing digital circus. If so did you enjoy it?
I DID and I really loved it. I love the way Goose wrote the episode. The character dialogue was so entertaining, and each line told a lot about who they are as people as well as how they navigate the world. The main gang feel so real, I love it sm. I also adored the world exploration this episode. I was excited by the idea of us exploring the candy map of this game, but the fact that we ventured into the unseen areas of the game's programming was so fun. I have to say that my favorite part of it was probably Pomni and Gummigoo's bonding moment.
I feel like up until now because of how little we have of this series we knew little to nothing about Pomni. All we had to work off of was that she seemed neurotic, anxious, but she showed signs of being caring. Now that we got a glimpse of how she was after settling in I like her even more as a character. She's sassy!! She's frank!! And she's very empathetic, which I love.
Another character I found really interesting this episode is Jax (you can groan it's okay DEJEYF). Although I want to emphasize the word interesting. I don't love him honestly ( don't look at my pfp, his design is just v aesthetically silly to me). He's the definition of insufferable asshole who I'd probably punch in the nose on sight, but that's what's intriguing about him to me. He's needlessly cruel for seemingly no reason, even going as far as wanting to massacre people for the sake of entertainment. I'm going to be so real here cuz I know someone's gonna call me out- but yes, if he was a woman I'd probably love the murderous desire.
Jokes aside though, there is something...very wrong with him. You could make the excuse of "oh well he wants to kill NPCs and they aren't real" but I still think that's incredibly concerning regardless. Wanting to go out of your way to inflict harm on people is very... I'm not even sure what to call that. It has me curious about him though. Makes me wanna pop his head open and dig my hands into his brain to see what wires got crossed in there. While I may dislike him as a person, I love him as a character and I can't wait to see why he's so awful.
Lastly I wanna say I really love Goose's writing style. I wanna study it and break down how she goes about creating a narrative. I still have yet to watch all of her Youtube videos. I still need to do that.

1. Were you named after anyone?
Was originally gonna be named Andrea after a ballerina my grandma liked! Sadly no one remembered her well, not even grandma, so I don't know much about her.
My deadname was simply just chosen bc it was easy to pronounce, as well as my chosen name Diego (it's what I would've been called had I been male), although when I chose it for myself I liked the JoJo character Diego Brando so there was some correlation there.
Funnily enough, people think I'm nicknamed Lio after the Promare character, but I hadn't met them yet.
2. When was the last time you cried?
Yesterday. At 11pm. Watching OR3O's One Piece song. It was nostalgic ok
3. Do you have kids?
Nope. There's an absurd amount of reasons I don't want them, although not a single one is because I dislike them. I've had to babysit many kids and they've all been very sweet.
4. What sports do you play/have you played?
Oof, my recent sports is taking my dog for a walk. But I used to like volleyball and kickball! And reluctantly played soccer and did swimming! Sports give me a lot of anxiety and i'm not sure why.
5. Do you use sarcasm?
I do a lot of teasing and lighthearted banter that can sometimes be considered sarcasm?
6. What's the first thing you notice about people?
Their eyes! Or anything outstanding like cool hairstyles or visible tattoos.
With online people, I mostly recognize them by pfp or a vague mental pronunciation of their username.
7. What's your eye color?
Dark brown?? Or black??
8. Scary movies or happy endings?
Honestly, whatever makes me think more. Unhappy endings tend to do that more though, so I guess scary movies! But of course it depends on the mood, sometimes I just want a nice story to cheer me up.
9. Any talents?
I've been told I am talented at the piano! And music in general, although most of my skills feel less like talent and more like just studying the thing.
10. Where were you born?
So I was born in the US, in Florida, but my entire family is from Costa Rica and I just happened to be born while my parents were studying abroad. I don't remember much from the US though, I came back to CR with my grandma in my first months because she was less busy than my parents, and then they came to live here again. So in my eyes I've been a true Costa Rican since always hehe
11. What are your hobbies?
Playing the piano! Also drawing sometimes (I like to color more than draw, but unless I get my hands on a coloring book I can't do that unless I draw), playing videogames (mostly RPGs and visual novels), and doomscrolling.
12. Do you have any pets?
YESSSS my beloved dog Mia!!!!!!!!!!! I love her so much, she escaped her abusive home and we found her while walking around a plaza, said hi, and she followed us home. She's been with us for 8 years now and I adore her. Reference below because how can I not show her off:
13. How tall are you?
Excellent question. I forgot but I'm average if that helps!
14. Favorite subject in school?
It changed over the years, in senior year it was English because we had my favorite teacher! I knew him for years because he has a literature club I partook in, so I was very happy to have classes with him. Plus, we saw the Oresteia, which goes tremendously hard especially when your teacher geeks out about all the symbolisms.
Apart from that, computer class! We barely ever had it, and almost had it cut out entirely in senior year, but the few times we did I really enjoyed programming and practicing typing! And when we didn't do anything we could play so.
15. Dream job?
I want to make my own videogame! So I'd say a game developer, although being a part of any videogame, especially RPGs, would be a dream come true.

A Guide to playing GnR Mermaids - shit post
(Explaining why we do this so some of you dont look at me weirdly:
My friend and I haven’t seen eachother in years, and before I went away I was also obsessed with gnr and we did this, so it’s really just bringing back nostalgia)
- in the pool(ofc) - 2 people edition
- my storyline change it however you please
Preparation:
- figure out your love interests
- 2 each
- you will be playing each-others love interests
- the member left is the clinically insane one that will make plot points ( will be in-love with both of you to make things interesting)
- aswell as make a phrase that they never stop saying
-( we chose Axl for this one and not sharing our secret phrase 🤫)
- figure out how you’re going to style your hair to show different characters
(if you dont got hair improvise)
-( for this, an example we did:
Axl: use hair as mustache
Slash: flip hair up underwater so you look like George Washington
Duff: hair up at the back, like using a claw clip.
Izzy: hair down to the side like a braid
Steven: hair fully to the side like an emo style )
- next choose your colour tails obv
- next chose your powers, including the guys
-( For this we did:
Axl: Fire
Slash: Nature
Duff: Air
Izzy: Darkness
Steven: Light ) (we actually forgot we did this part)
- lastly choose your spawning point, is it a specific oceanic place in real life, or just a simple lagoon, ect.
-( we chose Cape Town)
Chapters will now be very specific to our story line
Chapter 1:
- You spawn in
- Go to a bar/ club ect.
- make up an excuse to separate
- Whoever’s love interest is Slash, the other person has to now be in character.
- Slash comes to flirt with said person
- add details, like why he’s here, and that he’s in a band ect.
- he gives you his (shellphone) number
- friend comes back, chat about it
- other friend goes to do something
- clinically insane character comes along - say the most outrageous shit - doesnt matter how much you retaliate he keeps coming back
- tries to get your number (you can choose if you give it to him or force him to give to your so you never text him.)
- he leaves somehow
- friend comes back, talk about outrageous man, ect
- just keep rotating through meeting characters and setting up dates for when to meet up.
(- clinically insane bitch likes both of you so have fun with that as you will)
- when the insane one is in scene, maybe ask and point to one of your love interests asking for their numbers and he makes an excuse to why you shouldn’t do that
-(example:
Friend - “ That blonde one over there is in your band, can I have his number?”
Insane - “ uhh he’s actually gonna die tonight cus he got this infectious disease so don’t go near him.”) (sumthing to that extent)
- i don’t remember the rest just have fun and do whatever
- make the insane guy get arrested for funzies (optional)
Chapter 2:
- next day
- find out insane one has escaped jail ( optional ) (ALL ARRESTS ARE OPTIONAL THIS WAS SPECIFIC TO US)
- bump into different characters, all love interests asking to meet at the same time. At their crib
- (example: my interests were Izzy and Duff
- Izzy: “okay 3pm my place”
-*later*
- Duff: “Ive been looking for you, heres chocolate and flowers, wanna come to my place at 3?”
-someone: “thank you, but Izzy already asked me”
- izzy and duff live together
- “nah izzy wont mind.” )
- Insane one shows up running from the police
- him ready looking like he finna kill whoever gave the chocolates, flowers /ect.
- says sum deranged stuff
- (example:
“Insane: “you haven’t texted me yet *looks at you with my crazy eyes*
Someone: “uhh, my dog ate my phone but the cover with my credit card is still intact”
Insane: “oh okay, because I have you as my pfp.”
Someone: “huh?!
Insane: “Yeah it’s your perfect hair, no split end in sight.”
*later*
Someone: “oh my lord he has me as his pfp”
The other one: “ARENT THOSE YOUR BEDSHEETS IN THE BACKROUND???”
*later*
Insane: -to the other person- “I got your toe hairs as my wallpaper bbg” )
- add in more interactions
- we also added the crazy guy getting chased by the police and trying to take shelter in one of yours houses
- do your scheduled timings
- (example: - 3pm rolls around - my story
Someone: *knocks on door*
Duff: “Come in”
Someone: “Thank you, where’s Izzy?”
Duff: “Uh…in his room.”
Someone: “Oh okay”
- then pick a movie or something, (we chose Hamilton)
- do a house tour, his room has photos of you in but you didn’t see
Someone: “Izzy is supposed to be here, should we not go get him”
Duff: -makes excuses but you get him to take you to the room-
Duff: * unlocks door* * gets yelled at by Izzy* *Izzy drags him inside and runs out of his room locking the door*
Izzy: “Don’t worry about him, he’s like a baby, he needs a nap every few seconds”
- watch some of the movie
- make some moves
- ( we did that Izzy asked them to be his bae but you dont have to do that)
-( also they apparently fucked for 10 hours CUS MY FRIEND SAID *10 hours later* after they went to a room)
Someone: *opens the door for Duff*
Duff: *traumatised at the noises he’s heard*
- we made Duff Izzy and them a throuple
- but Izzy said to think about it and say the next morning. )
- after your adventures go home to your friend
- run into the house and start boarding the windows and doors with wooden planks because the insane one was chasing after you.
- call your baes to look after you cus the police can’t do their job
- he does get arrested tho (again)
*next day*
- insane one in prison calling one of you
- you thinking its your bae and saying some coupley stuff or whatever but make sure it’s directed at one of your interests
- * screaming, bombs, and destruction on the other line*
- “ HE ESCAPED AGAIN”

auughhh and her lore if you wanna read below but I understand that OC lore isn’t everyone’s thing
OKAY SO she comes from a universe where her kind are robots made by a company to terraform planets for the ultra wealthy. So if you have the funds you can purchase a whole planet and whole armies of these little bots will shape it however you want.
BUT. While on the assembly line, before even recovering her directive, a portal opens up and throws her into this odd pocket dimension, which is just a half built city floating in a bright void. (Also when I say half finished I mean more like brutalist aesthetic with just concrete and no glass on the windows)
This place (named ‘Gearsky’ by locals because massive floating gears are the only thing that exist here outside of the city itself) is full of people from their own dimensions just trying to get by. She explores, and comes across a little bear being picked on in an alleyway. (The lil green bear [party bear] in the pics above)
She saves him and then it subconsciously becomes her prime directive to help Party Bear get home/care for him. So they set up base in one of the empty apartments and she just sorta takes care of him.
NOW. How do you get home you may be asking? Well it’s easy. You just need to beat someone in a deathmatch.
Enter the only form of entertainment on this island. The man who is the dictator of this place and subsequently the host of this game, aptly named Host, loves running this game. The rules are simple. 3 people enter, and two can leave alive. Only one needs to die, and the other two can get sent home. The only thing is, you have no idea who you’re going up against.
Now, RB, being a bot made to terraform, has some power behind her with her explosive abilities. But Party Bear has no defenses. So RB tries to strike a deal with Host.
She offers to kill both people in the ring with her for multiversal travel.
Host is intrigued by this offer, and accepts. After wiping the floor with her opponents, she’s granted access to all dimensions. She’s obviously excited and goes home to try and let Party Bear go home, but is heartbroken when she discovers that she’s the only one who can travel using the portals.
But this catches the attention of someone else.
Her future boss.

He took note of her deal, and approached her with a job offer.
Man’s long story short she works for him as an assassin!

I Want To Hold Your Hand (Valentine's Day with the Beatles)

Happy Valentine's Day, loves! I still have absolutely no inspiration to write (lmao) but seeing as it's the day of love (my pfp is finally in season), I felt like we needed something on here. So, I'm writing this on the fly, in the Walmart parking lot while I use their wifi to sync my OneDrive (as I said before, no wifi at home ew). Written on tumblr, one proofread through because we die like real men here. Enjoy!

John more than likely forgot what day it was
Lucky for him, he remembered about three days before and bought you gifts
His favourite things to give you are flowers and chocolate (the one thing he's traditional on)
"Johnny, guess what day it is?" you say
He stands there with a vacant expression for a moment
"Is it your birthday?"
"No, John" (unless you actually were born on Valentine's Day lol)
He thinks for a moment, chuckles, and says, "I didn't forget, birdie" (he most definitely did) before going and getting your presents from their hiding spot
You still don't know how he managed to keep chocolate and flowers fresh for three days without you noticing
You smile, say your thanks, and give him a little kiss
John simply replies with, "Anything for my little birdie"
Paul:
Paul is the type to go all out on Valentine's Day
He wouldn't say it's his favourite holiday, but it's in the top three
Has been planning your gifts for months but didn't pick them up until the day of so they wouldn't get lost or damaged
His favourite things to give you are jewelry pieces and lingerie
One of his gifts is a trip to Paris
"It's the city of love, mon coeur!" was his excuse
He takes you atop the Eiffel Tower and...
Bends over to tie his shoe
JK, he kisses you super hard
And then proposes to you
Ofc you say yes
Then you run through the rainy streets, trying to avoid reporters
George:
George is very simple with Valentine's Day
He still does everything with love in his heart, but he's not so extravagant as other people (you don't mind, of course)
His favourite things to give you are flowers and handmade cards, though he has been known to gift songs on several occasions
He does enjoy using Valentine's as an excuse to take you out to fancy restaurants
In fact, you usually make a week of it and try as many fancy restaurants as you can
He always feels slightly bad for not being as extravagant as others, but you always reassure him it's just the way you like it
Then he showers you with physical and verbal affection to make up for it

He spends a lot of the day describing to you just how much he loves you

Unfortunately, he's very bad at secrets and always wants to tell you about your gifts early
As soon as February 1st hits, you practically have to hold his mouth closed to preserve the surprise
No matter how much he wants to tell you, though, even when you don't shush him, he shushes himself
His favourite things to give you are rings that match his or fuzzy socks (your flat is quite cold most of the time)
He likes to parade around town, hand-in-hand, proudly showing you off as his
He also likes to just stare at you with stars in his eyes, though he does that just about every day
"What's the matter?" you ask, thinking something must be wrong with your hair or stuck in your teeth
"Just happy I'm yours, my love," he says

This is a blog meant to represent my version of Silver, which means he strays from canon a little bit... Okay alota bit. This blog may also cover some serious things, but also participates in the general tumblr chaos. He will only be shipped with characters my BF writes, for comfort reasons.

Requests
So I wont do sing request since I cant draw all the characters (rn) but I can do fursona requests as long as they are a cat, fox, wolf, tiger, lion (basically any wild cat and canine) and maybe even moths. Idk about insects because I can’t even draw a simple spider but I can always try.

Breakfast - Yoo Taeyang

A/N: I wanted to make this longer, but my days were running out on finishing this and my energy had also depleted. Hopefully I can do a more works next year!

Prompts: “You brought me breakfast?” “Well you said you always forget to eat before you go to work, so I thought I’d make sure you ate something.”

Youngbin steps out of the building, shutting the door behind him before looking around and spotting you with a bag in your hand, he smiles and makes his way towards you.
“This is an early visit from you,” He says as he comes to a stop in front of you. “I didn’t know you would be stopping by, we should get you a pass if you’re going to come and visit more often,” You shake your head, giving a soft smile.
“No, no, it’s not needed,” You say. “I don’t stop by often, you know that,” He nods his head and steps aside to point at the door, you had messaged him and asked if he could come and get you.
“Shall we go?” He asks. You nod your head and you both make your way towards the door. “Did you bring him something to eat?” You glance down at the bag in your hand before looking back up.
“Hmm, I did, I made it myself this morning,” You say. “I hope it’s not bad timing,” Youngbin opens the door and you step inside with him right behind you.
“No, no, I don’t think it is,” He says as the door shuts behind you both. “Practice doesn’t start until this afternoon, so you brought it right on time for him,” He moves next to you, and you make your way towards the elevator. “He’s in the practice room right now, the chances are good that he’s dancing to one of EXO’s songs,” You nod your head, he probably was.
“I have no doubt he is,” You say. He presses the elevator button, and it only takes a few seconds before the doors open and you both step inside, he presses the correct floor button. “How is the comeback work coming along?”
“It’s going good, we’re working hard on everything,” He says. “Taeyang is a lucky guy, because that smells absolutely amazing,” You couldn’t help but smile, you were a foodie, and you loved to cook, and receiving compliments on your food, even just the smell, meant a lot to you.
“Thank you,” You say. “You guys always work so hard, don’t overdo it and get hurt, okay?” He nods his head. “That goes for you all, and good luck, I know the fans will enjoy it.”
“Thank you,” He says. “What did you make?” He asks as the elevator door opens on the floor where you would meet Taeyang. “And is there any way I can also arrange for you to bring me breakfast?” You couldn’t help but chuckle as you began making your way towards the practice room.
“Well, how about a dinner?” You ask. “If it’s ever possible, how about we all gather and have dinner together at some point?” He nods his head.
“That sounds good, we’ll arrange a date and time,” He says. He stops in front of a door and knocks on it before opening it. “Taeyang, there’s a delivery for you,” Taeyang pauses mid-movement and looks towards the door, you wave at him with a smile on your lips, and he immediately moves to shut the music off. “I’ll be meeting the others now, but we’ll talk about that dinner, maybe we can have it to celebrate our comeback.”
“Definitely,” You say. Youngbin smiles at you before walking past you and down the hall before entering another room. “Can I enter?”
“Yes, yes, definitely, please,” He says. You step inside the room and shut the door behind you. “What brings you here so early?” He walks up to you and places a hand on your hip and leans down to peck your lips, the moment brief but welcoming to you.
“It’s not that early,” You say. “It’s just the right time also,” You lift the bag in your hand between your bodies, and he takes it from you, the smell immediately finds his nose, and you watch a smile form on his lips.
“You brought me breakfast?” He asks. He takes your hand and leads you towards the couch that was in the practice room and sits down on it, placing the bag between you both.
“Well, you said you always forget to eat before you go to work, so I thought I’d make sure you ate something,” You say. He begins unpacking the bag, finding sausages, toasted bread, bacon, eggs, hash browns and mixed fruits in separate containers.
“You didn’t just bring me some food, you made me some food,” He says. “You’re absolutely amazing, dove,” He begins opening the containers and takes in a deep breath as the aroma becomes stronger. “Gosh, thank you so much for this, I’m going to enjoy it so much,” He picks up the chopsticks you had also packed in. “Did you eat yet?”
“I ate while making and packing yours,” You say. “You think I would forget to feed myself?” He chuckles and nods his head before taking the first bite from the sausages.
“Ohh, this is so good,” He mumbles before chewing it further. You lean against the backrest of the couch and watch him fondly as he enjoys the breakfast you have made for him. “Everything tastes so good, oh my gosh, the hash brown is so good, the right kind of crispy and softness,” He finishes everything, licking his lips clean as he puts the chopsticks into the bag. “You are an absolute angel,” You begin packing the containers into the bag.
“I’m glad you enjoyed it,” You say. He begins helping you put the remaining containers away. “I’ll aim to make waffles next time,” You close the bag, and he moves the bag to the floor and moves closer to you.
“You’re spoiling me,” He says. “What would I do without you making sure I’m eating well?” He places his hand on your cheek and leans in slowly. “I’ll see how early we finish practice and then come to yours and help make dinner,” You could feel yourself growing excited but knew plans could change on a dime.
“Okay, let me know when you finish up, okay?” You say. He slowly nods his head with a soft hum before leaning in closer and softly pressing his lips against yours, your eyes shut as you take at the moment and enjoy the feeling of his lips against yours, moving with yours, and the way his scent invaded your lungs and filled them, his warmth surrounded you as you lean more into him. His arm wraps around your middle and his hand rests on the small of your back. He was taking your breath away with just a kiss and your mind was spinning, a knock on the door caused you both to pull away, breathing deeply and both of your lips slightly swollen.
“Sorry to interrupt, but we have to meet with the instructor in a few minutes,” Youngbin says as he pokes his head into the room. You nod your head and reach down for your bag.
“And that’s my cue to go,” You say as you stand from the couch. Taeyang also stands and places his hand on your hip.
“Let me walk you out,” He says. “I’ll be right there,” Youngbin nods his head before pushing the door fully open for you both. You and Taeyang exit the practice room and make your way towards the elevator. “I’ll text you when we finish and come over, okay?”
“I can’t wait, but if you’re tired, rather go straight home, okay?” You say as you enter the elevator.
“I can have a sleepover at yours if I am,” He says. “Or would that bother you?” He asks, looking slightly concerned as he steps in next to you and presses the ground button.
“Oh, oh!” You say and look up at him. “No, it wouldn’t, I wouldn’t mind at all!” The elevator begins moving down. “I really wouldn’t mind at all,” Relief washes over his face, and he gently smiles. “Is there anything specific you want to eat then for tonight?” It wasn’t the first time he would be staying over, but you always made sure to add a few extra things that he enjoyed to your fridge.
“You, and maybe a waffle, that waffle you made last time,” He says. “Oh… some candy also?” You nod your head before catching a sheepish smile on his lips. “It’s not needed, but if you could… you know?”
“Tyang… of course, I will get it for you,” You say. “I think there’s still in the cabinets, but I’ll get some more before going home,” The elevator doors open and you step out with him right next to you. “Don’t overdo it and hurt yourself, please?”
“I will try,” He says. You pause at the exit and turn to him. “I’ll try, but I can’t promise that,” You nod your head before placing your hand on his chest and grip onto his shirt, he smiles as he feels you tug him down to your level before softly kissing you. The kiss lasted a few seconds before you pull back and bite your bottom lip.
“See you tonight,” You say before opening the door and exiting the building, leaving a smiling Taeyang behind you, just two days before Christmas.

I'm so curious now, what happens in the crimson dawn and the falling shades of flowers moon awakening of the Mikage cgs? (Hope I said that right sksks)
THANK YOU FOR ASKING 🫶 For the sanity of both of us and anyone else who’s reading it, I’ll only talk about chapter 3 (the last chapter) because that’s where most of the angst in the MA story happened
This is how the card looks like after you awaken the moon awakening btw <3 (the one in my pfp is the sun awakening)

(Also I’ll be using Emma, the MC of the game, instead of the player/Juno here btw)

The chapter starts out with Emma finding Mikage next to the cherry blossom trees and when Mikage saw her he was like “oh you came for a walk too?” but Emma went “are you sure it’s just a walk? Aren’t you actually trying to leave Tokohana?” (Tokohana is the guild Mikage is in). Mikage went like “damn you got me 🙁” (he didn’t say it like that but I hope ygwim) and explained that if he’d continue being in the guild he’d only serve as “poison” to future activities (Tokohana symbolises the peace of Hongbai after years of war) considering he betrayed the Shadow Clan, and it’s a rule to punish those who betray them. Then he goes on about how he really feels (him wanting to be with her, but not wanting to endanger her) and said that if he “can imagine her smiling somewhere in the world, it’s enough to live comfortably” and then apologises for breaking his promise*. Emma then talks about how she can’t smile without him and how she always trusted him to come back by her side (which he did), and stuff like that.
Mikage then took her by the hand and kissed her asking her if she wants to forget everything (him and their memories together) by taking a drug they have at his village, so she can live happily without him. That way she can also continue to pursue her dream to become a Guild Keeper. She replied by saying that she’s set on continuing to live with him, even if that meant to give up everything, including her dream. Mikage then said that it isn’t worth it to turn someone who wants to make you happy more than else into a “shady person”, but if she’s really sure to give up everything and go with him they’d go together.
The chapter/story ended there but what makes me the most insane about it is that Emma had to give up her dream for it, because if I remember correctly she wanted to be a guild keeper the way her grandmother was. Anyway, I’m currently trying to write out how I’d like the story to continue 🔥🔥
*The promise he was talking about entailed that when he’d finish settling everything and not being bound to the Shadow Clan anymore, they’d finally be able to love each other freely and actually commit to their love for each other

So I am doing it now, here it goes, Tumblr user togrutahhh's five comfort characters (aka a collection of cunning bastards who seem composed on the surface but are secretly Fucked Up but are also kind to children and poor people):
Hina Kudo from Mr. Sunshine aka my pfp: Hina Kudo is actually Korean, but she has a Japanese name because she's the mysterious widow of a rich Japanese man twice her age. She used his inheritance to open up a fancy hotel in Seoul and uses the money and influence gained through that alongside her intelligence and cunning to get what she wants, and what she wants is Mysterious unless you've seen the show to the end. Does she work for the Japanese? For the Koreans? For the Americans? For herself? Nobody knows and everyone hates her for it. She is a Bad Bitch, always cool, poised, and playfully seductive, but she also has a back full of hideous scars and is a proficient swordswoman, hinting at a less genteel past. She seems haughty, but is also wonderfully compassionate towards lower class people and viciously defends her staff from unwanted sexual advances. The men she wants never pick her because they think she's fake and manipulative. (Fun fact: this actress and her mannerisms in this particular role is how I headcanon Alys Vorpatril to look like, with Henry Golding as Ivan)
Grand Admiral Thrawn from Star Wars: I love the Chaotic Strategic Mastermind Who Inspires Loyalty In His Men archetype, but what I love about Thrawn is that, unlike the more overtly theatrical and extroverted specimens like Miles Vorkosigan or Eugenides or Inda Algara-Vayir, he is also very introverted and autistic and seems incapable of connecting to people outside of the structured military environment he's in, which adds an additional twist and makes him deliciously interpersonally vulnerable to me. In the right hands he's also an excellent treatise of when doing evil for the greater good is justified and when it's not, and a cool exploration of someone just abandoning his humanity and his personal needs in order to always do the Rational Thing. Reading Zahn's new canon books about him often feels like watching your kind, hypercompetent, slightly awkward boyfriend who's great with children make the worst possible choices and fail you again and again and again. I also like thinking about him in terms of... information processing? Like no matter how logical you are, your conclusions are only as good as your info and what info you take into consideration will be determined by your own prejudices and assumptions and social position. Honorable mention to his boyfriend aide Eli Vanto and also everyone in the Ascendancy Trilogy - I could make a top ten comfort characters list out of them alone.
Laurent of Vere from Captive Prince: NEW BLORBO!! <3 Another Strategic Mastermind Who Inspires Loyalty in His Men + Interpersonal Vulnerability combo, but this time extra bitchy and needlessly vicious and also in a piece of media that explores his interpersonal baggage with great nuance and respect. He is severely traumatized but the narrative never takes away his agency and always portrays his boundaries as really important and I wrote a whole ass essay about how lovely that is that you can look up on my blog if you want. He comes off as stone cold but seems to have an innate desire to be sweet and submissive that he's too scared to let out. He also has a delightfully intricate mind that manifests in a myriad of plot twists and schemes - those books are literally more filled with unexpected plot twists than the Queen's Thief books, and that's an accomplishment to say the least. Every time you think you've got him pegged down he reveals new layers to his thinking and personality and it's such a delight, but you also see how that same intricate mind stymies him and makes him awkward when he tries to open up to someone (and what's extra charming is that you can see that he's trying so damned hard in places).
Lisbeth Salander from The Millennium Trilogy: The ultimate Bad Bitch. She's punk. She's a genius with a photographic memory but is so distrustful and anti-social and scarred by her severely traumatic upbringing that she pretends to be mentally handicapped so that people would leave her alone. She kills her rapist. She sets her abusive father on fire as a preteen. He comes for her as an adult to get revenge and buries her alive and she digs herself out Kill Bill-style, and whenever I feel in an impossible situation I think of the description of how she feels her fingers being scraped to a pulp as she digs but refuses to give up and that inspires me. She falls in love with an upper middle class leftist journalist twice her age who is poly, which she isn't stable enough psychologically to deal with, so she ghosts him and then spends a lot of time dwelling on how isolated from Normal Society she feels and how it always feels like she's a shitty stray out in the cold and rain watching happy people sit together in warm houses through the window.
Joe Macmillan from Halt and Catch Fire: He's a Don Draper-esque slick salesman kind of charismatic guy, except you can immediately tell that it's a facade and his charismatic shtick often comes off as fake, plastic, over the top or even kinda pathetic. He does the Joker thing where he makes up a different story about how he got his scars based on what will best get him what he wants. He's the best bisexual rep I've ever seen and while his queerness is not a central plot point in the show, he gets an entire subplot about being a queer man during the 1980s AIDS crisis and how this impacts his career as an antivirus software "developer", and we also get hints about how having to perform manhood as a teen is what set the stage for his fake-ass melodramatic bargain bin Patrick Bateman personality. He eventually matures and learns that manipulating people can lead to some really nasty consequences and becomes a more genuine and grounded person. He still loses everything. He comes off as a heartbreaker but actually he just keeps getting dumped by everyone because nobody trusts him as far as they can throw him even when he genuinely cares and continues to suffer over the breakup for years afterwards. He's the ultimate boy who cried wolf. Truly the most pathetic meow meow of all time. He's played by Lee Pace, so he's really hot. Actually everyone on this list is really hot and can cut glass with their cheekbones.
Honorable mention to Eugenides from Queen's Thief, who sadly got replaced by Laurent at the last minute. Also honorable mention to a dozen Star Wars characters who got kicked out by Thrawn, including but not limited to my boy Luthen Rael, the entire Skywalker family, Darth Maul, Aleksandr Kallus, and Hera Syndulla.

THIS IS WHY TWITTER IS DUMB
Just showing a Twitter interaction. Here's my post.
I make a simple statement then get accused of gaslighting by Emosh; a YouTuber I used to watch, but his content just wasn't for me, so I stopped watching. And I figured I'd eventually have an interaction with him like this since Jordan Lee has retweeted a post of mine before. Just didn't expect it to be this soon. This is what he said...
Seems like this guy doesn't care to understand basic DB characters let alone the inspirations from Journey To The West (inspirations that aren't necessarily needed to enjoy the series). He likes to mockingly call people who do like the more deeper things of DB "the scholars" or "Buddhist monks" or something like that.
But since I am a fair dude, I have to also state that Emosh has said that those who say its necessary to know the inspirations to enjoy the series are idiot. Meaning someone like me who finds further enjoyment from some research is not who he is calling an idiot. Then again, I haven't watched his videos in a while, so he may have called anyone who says they like the inspiration stuff an idiot or maybe not. Either way, I don't care if someone I don't personally know calls me an idiot. Especially when I point out something they dont know.
Now, imma take apart what he said piece by piece.
Emosh calls Krillin a "simp bitch."
Calling Krillin a "simp bitch" is just to try to get under my skin since I have a Krillin pfp. That's something a lot of people do for some reason when you have a Krillin icon. A childish tactic I've seen many do.
Anyway, someone who actually knows the series would know that 18 simped for Krillin which is why she kissed him & he reciprocated that affection.
And what kind of "bitch" shows up to fights against enemies stronger than Goku in order to protect his friends and the Earth? What kind of "bitch" looks death in the face & charges at it to buy time for his friends and family? Krillin is always there to fight for his loved ones.
Two specific ones who you could say have behaved like "bitches" are Vegeta (against Freeza) & Trunks (against Cell). Both gave up and accepted death instead of fighting against the odds.
The leaps in logical that people take just to insult Krillin are comical to me at this point. But, that's to he expected since Emosh hates Krillin 'cause he doesn't understand nor care to understand Krillin's character. So, that is one of many points he will ignore when it comes to Krillin. He has a hateful biase against Krillin. Is what it is. Ignorance is bliss.
He accuses me of "gaslighting."
And when Emosh says Krillin is a "simp bitch" & "that's why ppl dont give a shit" about him & that the Saiyans represent the Sun Wukong themes better... EMOSH JUST RECONTEXTUALIZED WHAT I SAID, THEN ACCUSED ME OF GASLIGHTING.
I said that "NOBODY DOES THE RESEARCH OR TALKS ABOUT IT CAUSE KRILLIN ISN'T A SAIYAN."
For Emosh to recontextualize what I said then accuse me of gaslighting... THAT THERE IS A GASLIGHTING TACTIC; purposefully misinterpret what someone says then accuse them of what you're doing.
I find it funny that he accuses me of gaslighting for making a simple statement. Duh! Saiyans represent Sun Wukong better. But fans talk about Piccolo's Wukong references as well as references that Beerus & other non-Saiyans have. Even Oolong has some inspiration (his ability to transform). It IS NOT "gaslighting" to point out how other characters take inspiration from Sun Wukong & that most DB fans don't research non-Saiyan characters. But, that goes back to Emosh's Krillin hatred that he has admitted to in his videos (specifically a DB Kakume video if memory serves me right).
Emosh is a "Ribrianne."
Ya can't even say a simple statement without someone trying to accuse you of something you didn't do. Talk about disingenuous. And its the usual routine; insult a character, then accuse someone of something they aren't doing. That's expected & what happens on Twitter because so ppl are quick to react, and him being a debater contributes to his quick reaction.
And if ppl don't care about Krillin because they think he is a "simp bitch" then, this fandom is full of many ignorant people who can't properly comprehend simple details about Dragon Ball characters. Which has in fact been proven to be true many times over. Their arrogance shields them from the truth.
Now I wonder if this will be misconstrued as "passive aggressive" just cause I point out common actions of ppl on Twitter instead of trying to start Twitter beef. 🤔 It's happened to me before, so let's see if it happens again. And if anything, Jordan Lee's response would be conisdered "passive aggressive." It not tho. He's just giving a selective response.
That's better than recontextualizing a statement to lie on someone & falsely claim they are gaslighting. 👍
And I'll link this video clip of RealLifeRyan that explains how I feel about Krillin haters. If they don't appreciate Krillin, it reveals what kind of person they are & they aren't worth your time.
EXTRA: possible trigger warning
I may be wrong but Emosh's political leaning appears to be Republican. And I was never deep into politics, but Rebuplican was actually what I leaned more towards. But then I noticed both sides are screwed up and are two sides of the same coin. Remember when Republicans didn't like gays & trans? Then why do they promote & support people like Dave Rubin & Caitlyn Jenner & even use the proper pronouns? 🤔 Both sides are hypocrites, so I'm neither. I'm just a guy who just watches both sides fight in public then shake hands behind closed doors.
And Emosh says things that that would suggest he is possibly prejudice against certain ppl. From his "jokes" about Black Freeza to him saying things in his videos about Uub being "a slave boy" in a derogatory way or calling Gas "Jamaican Kid Buu" as an insult.
Stuff like that is why many black people don't vote Republican. Why be part of a party that openly doesn't like you nor wants you to be part of their party? But by that same merit, why be part of a party that pretends they like you in order to get your votes? At least the one who pretends to like you might accidentally help you out.
And his audience appears to share similar views as him. He and his audience try to be edgy trolls, but doesn't that remind you of Seth The Programmer? But, Emosh doesn't appear to be stupid like him. 'Cause who asks minors for nudes then tries to play it off as a joke or to troll guys who liked those girls?
What I notice that's similar between Emosh & Seth is that they have a habit of trying to bait a person to react so they can debate them then make a video from it. They will say "inflammatory statments" like how Emosh said Krillin is a "simp bitch" just to get a reaction, then say "Get on voice chat if you aren't a pussy!" so he can monitize it. And since I know Emosh doesn't like Krillin from watching his videos, and I know he didn't comprehend basic things about Krillin's character (which is why he doesn't like him), why would I debate a person like that so they can make money off of it? If I was making money off of it, then I would. Otherwise, it's a waste of my time.
And this is not intended to make anyone dislike him. I'm just pointing out what I see. Listen to him long enough & you will either gravitate towards him or pull away. Depends on what kind of person you are and what you are aware of. Because an unaware person can easily be led astray.
Disingenuous people aren't worth your time, so don't interact with Ribriaa-- I mean "Emosh."

18. The character that gave you the most trouble writing this year?
I might have to say Asami has probably been the hardest. I feel as though I struggle with getting her across in fics well. Practice makes perfect?
A close second is probably Lin. Same situation of sometimes being doubtful I get her character down okay, especially in the romantic sense since her romantic life was non-existent in the show. But it’s fun to imagine and I can only hope that it’s not too crazy and she still stays herself in what I write.
The both of them, really.
19. What’s one pairing you want to explore next year?
I cannot limit myself to answering with just one pairing, so I have a few answers haha
Having gotten into writing this past year, there’s still so much I want to try and practice. Definitely with my OTPs, but other random pairings, too.
To be more daring (to me!) and try other concepts in general is what I’m looking forward to in the next year.
Conceptually, I want to also get better at writing mature content. Not gonna lie, I find it intimidating, but I need to get past that hump and give it an honest try.
Within this fandom a pair I want to explore that I haven’t tried yet is Amon/Kuvira. I have an idea, just no words for it yet.
Outside this fandom a pair I want to try is ChubbyBunny (Miruko/Fat Gum) from My Hero Academia.
And it’s not because I’m in love with the ship name and Miruko is my PFP. Nope, not at all.
27. What do you listen to while writing?
When I’m writing, I’ll have a Youtube video playing in the background as mindless noise and chatter, so I’m not in complete silence. Typically it’s one that I’ve already watched before, so it’s not as though I’m missing anything interesting.
Did not ask in this question, but I have several go-to songs that I associate with my OTPs. When I’m not actively writing, I like to listen to said songs to get myself in the mindset of the ships and the feelings the song brings out of me. And if I have a fic that’s titled based on a song (i.e. Kiss Me, Kill Me or A Spark in the Dark) I’ll listen to the song multiple times beforehand to get myself mentally ready to start writing the story.
29. Favorite line/passage you wrote this year?
Don’t make me narrow it down to just one! I’m choosing one per LOK OTP mkay?
Hurts Like Hell
The soft and questioning voice abruptly pulled Asami away from her relaxed state: eyelids snapped open and a shiver ran down her spine. It had been about two years since they last spoke, but the voice calling her name still felt all too familiar. The voice of someone who was so close, yet so far away. Their last words from a time long ago resurfaced in her mind, playing in a loop: Goodbye, Asami. I’ll always love you . Slowly her eyelids fluttered to fixate at a figure several meters away by the opposite side of the lake. Asami’s green eyes sparkled to meet familiar golden ones and her breath caught in her throat.
Loving You Throughout the Years
“Why are you concerned about my legacy for me? You’re worried about what I may need , but I am more than capable of making my own decisions. You think I would be happier if I left you for some random woman to hypothetically have kids with for the sake of a legacy ?” The irritation and frustration at their situation bled through his voice with each subsequent sentence.
Lin has hardly ever felt so fragile before and she could only let out a shaky breath in response.
He inhaled deeply and after a long pause, slowly exhaled to ease the tension in his features. “The answer is no. I would have thought you had known me better than that, Lin.”
30. Biggest surprise while writing this year?
Probably how much my mind will wander for a fic. I’ll overthink and let my mind go off on random tangents when thinking about a storyline or concept.
There’s this post here that goes off on how writing isn’t always writing. It’s going for a walk, thinking about your characters in the shower, listening to music, talking about concepts with other people, etc. And it was surprising to experience that firsthand for the first time this year and realize how true that actually is.
