Pokemon Breeds: Angora

Angora is the name of a Buneary/Lopunny that was bred to have very fluffy and curly fur.

The breed originated in Sinnoh and was bred specifically that when it sheds, its fur can be used to make softer coats. It's one of the oldest Lopunny breeds, only being beaten out by standard Lopunny. Most of the time now, their furis still used for fashion, and they're often put into contests with other Anogora Buneary/Lopunny. The one with the fluffiest fur wins. Other than cultural stuff, not much of their behavior changes from standard Buneary/Lopunny.

AITA for wanting to pursue legal action against a pokemon trainer?

Im a big city Unovan, and I am NOT a pokemon trainer. I never have been a pokemon trainer, and I have less than 0 interest in being a pokemon trainer. I do however own a pokemon, my munna named Fresno. Fresno was assigned to me by my doctor as a therapy pokemon to help with my insomnia and nightterrors. I need Fresno with me at night or I will be completely unable to do my job in the morning. Shes critical to my day to day life.

She’ll stay outside her pokeball on a leash. While walking to work yesterday, I took a more scenic route, and passed through a trainer-dense area. One of them approached me with a charmander following him, and demanded a battle. I attempted to explain I was just passing through to work, but before my sentence finished his charmander used flamethrower on my munna. Fresno is NOT a battling pokemon and was seriously injured (along with the leash being destroyed). The pokemon center will be taking in Fresno for 2 weeks to fully heal, and in that time, I will not have access to her.

I want to pursue legal action, but the trainer insists that since I had a pokemon and was walking through a place where trainers commonly train, that it was fully fine what he did.

I would like to clarify that the pokemon I have on my team are not ones that I have cruelly enslaved. I caught them after bonding with them over long periods of time.

If you have cruelly enslaved your pokemon through violence instead of taking the time to get to know them before catching them, you should release your pokemon. You are all cruel monsters.
