Nacli facts...please?

Woah, hello Garganacl! I don't get many sentient pokemon on my blog since my universe doesn't have that. Nice to meet you!

Nacli Facts

-The scientific name for Nacli is "Sal saxumis" which roughly translates to "Salt rock"

-The first Nacli appeared in Earth's crust, where they scraped their way to the top. Now, most Nacli come from breeding, but they dig holes to lay their eggs (very) deep under ground. Nalstack & Garganacl lay their eggs higher than Nacli due to their size

-While Nacli aren't related to Roggenrola, scientists put them on the same spot on the evolutionary tree because they both have similar origins

-Nacli don't have mouths, and instead absorb the food. Their diet consists of salt and other minerals

-They don't eat their own salt, but they will eat other Nacli salt. Researchers still aren't sure why they do this. Perhaps they just don't want to eat something that came from them

-As long as they have a healthy diet, harvesting the salt from Nacli is completely harmless to them. They leave trails of salt behind, which people and other pokemon have loved for centuries

-Nacli waste is small and white

-Despite not having legs and having to scoot on the ground, they're very active and are on a constant search for food

-Nacli have been known to break into people's houses to steal their salt

-It's important to be careful when you have a Goomy & Nacli together, because Nacli's salt can damage the slime and skin of Goomy

-Nacli use their salt to both heal and defend. They can choose what kind of salt they use for each situation. When in danger, they will scatter their salt and flee

-Nacli don't like water because it can damage their salt. But, they will go on beaches and eat the salt left behind by the water

-Unlike Garganacl, Nacli are bothered by the pokemon that try to eat their salt

-It can be very hard to determine a Nacli's sex because they don't have any physical sex difference, and their genitals are internal. Blood tests are also hard because the regular syringe can't break their tough skin, so they end up hiring more expensive because they use different materials. Many people prefer to not figure out instead (and this is how you get eggs everywhere)

-It's smart to wash your hands after handling a Nacli because the salt will scrape off and cling to you. Also, wash your clothes after cuddling a Nacli because the salt will be harder to scrape off

-Nacli stomachs are very strong and can easily break down steel (they don't eat steel, btw)

I have a Braixen that's still chewing on, and eating twigs, even though she's been evolved for about two months now.

I read that they chew on, and eat sticks, as Fenni's, and quit it when they evolve into Braix's, but mine hasn't stopped yet.

Should I be worried?

Is this a sign that my Braixen has issues with anxiety?

Could it be that my Braixen may be on the spectrum?

Or is it just a... stick-ing habit? GET IT??? ewe

But seriously, though, should I be concerned?

Braixen can often struggle to fully digest twigs since their stomachs aren't exactly the same as they when they were a Fenniken. It isn't necessarily a sign of anxiety; it could just be old habits dying hard, but it's still not a good habit. You should try doing exercises and training to get her to stop, like providing her with other snacks to distract her from twigs or finding chew toys instead.

Porygon Z Facts

-The scientific name for Porygon Z is "Fractis Polygonus" which roughly translates to "Broken polygon"

-As of now, the Porygon line is one of the only Pokemon the public is aware of that was made in a lab. They also have a copyright, so other companies can't make them

-Porygon Z is also the newest Pokemon evolutionary wise due to the fact that they have no ancestors or relation to other pokemon whatsoever. They were just made in the early 200s

-While Porygon Z are very strong, they are very weak and have sacrificed their stability for strength, which is why they are so glitchy and have erratic movements

-There is a theory that Porygon Z were made to travel to different dimensions, however, this theory has not been confirmed. The Pokedex talks like it has been, but when asked about it, Silph Co. denied anything

-But, Porygon Z do very well in space because they don't need to eat or breathe. Many Space Organizations will send Porygon Z into space due to their unique abilities as well

-Porygon Z also don't feel any pain, but they can feel when something is wrong. To them, it just feels like an unscathed itch

-Porygon Z can't die of old age or illness. BUT, they can die from computer viruses. If your Porygon, any member of the line, gets a virus, take them to a computer specialist, not the vet

-The entire Porygon line is able to breed asexually. I'm going to be honest, I don't fully know how they sexually breed with other Pokemon because their genes are entirely code. Researchers at first thought it'd be a ditto situation, where crossbreeds are impossible, but they are able to crossbreed. Now, they think it's something about the code potentially editing their sperm to fit their mate if it's a different species, but I'm still confused about it myself

-Porygon Z and the rest of it's kine can go in phones, but they prefer computers (this is why I plan to get a rotomphone soon bcuz I feel bad using a poryphone). Porygon Z are known for doing terrible in phones however, because their glitchiness constantly makes the phone break

-Despite first being made in the 1990s, there are some old Hisuian texts depicting members of the Porygon line. Researchers believe that this is due to the Space-Time distortions that plagued ancient Hisui

-The entire line don't have hearts. Or internal organs. I genuinely don't even know how this thing is alive

-Porygon Z do have a brain, but it's code and is scattered across their body and moves around constantly, making their behavior and psychology difficult to study

-Their antenna can pick up on radio waves which help them find technology

-Porygon Z can injure themselves if they glitch out too much, so be prepared to put them into their pokeball if this happens. Their glitchy nature can also damage code, so be weary of that too

Interesting, but Ditto aren't able to crossbreed. Genetics are too weird for it to happen properly, so the pokemon is always going to come out as the non-ditto pokemon.

Pokemon Crossbreeds: Sprinter

Sprinter is the name for members of the Scorbunny line who had Yamper/Boltund fathers. The breed came about during the rise of agriculture in Galar, being cute and trusted pokemon that chase away predators while also being a pokemon Galarians can trust by their side. Now, they're mostly used as a battle breed for their speed.

Scorbunny

Sprinter Scorbunny gain some traits as yamper, such as tail shape, an eye spot, and neck fluff. They're a lot more excitable than standard scorbunny, and enjoy sprinting in open fields. Their speed combined with their fire power makes them strong, but it's also easier for them to overheat, sk they end up panting like Yamper does to cool themselves down.

Raboot

My personal favorite of this breed! Sprinter raboot gain the traits of Boltund, such as the spot on their eye and lighter fur color. They tend to have a better mood than standard Raboot, making them very popular breeds.

Cinderace

Sprinter Cinderace also have traits of Boltund, such as bigger and more rounded eyes, a black nose, and fur coloring that now resembles a track suit a bit. Instead of Electricity, they send fire energy to their legs to give them more speed, which makes them just as fast as Boltund! Though, this does give them an added effect of always panting because they're always hot. They also tend to be very clingy with their trainers, so be aware of that too!

Blaziken Facts

-The scientific name for Blaziken is "Gallus Cinus" which eoughly translates to "Ash Rooster"

-Wild Blaziken live in Savannas or deserts

-Blaziken are omnivores and, in the wild, eat any bug type, grass type, or small mammalian pokemon they can get ahold of

-Blaziken are actually great parents, and will take in abandoned eggs from other bird pokemon. There was an instance where a Blaziken mothered Quaxly who had lost their mother (she also freaked out bcuz they went to the water and torchic can't swim very well, but it was all fine in the end)

-While wild Blaziken aren't aggressive towards humans, they don't like them getting to close either, and will defend themselves with powerful kicks if they feel threatened. However, it's not uncommon for curious Wild Blaziken to come up to investigate you. If this happens, stay calm and make yourself poor weaker; they usually don't pick on anything that is weaker than them (unless it's prey but you're not prey)

-Blaziken live in groups, and are often the leaders and only fully evolved ones in their flocks. If another member of their flock evolves into a Blaziken, the two will either fight for the role of leadership or the first Blaziken will drive out the newly evolved one

-Male Blaziken are bigger and more protective than female Blaziken. They're also noisier, which alerts other members of their flock

-Male Blaziken are known to be more protective of their trainers as well

-While Combusken were bred for both fighting and farming, Blaziken was bred purely for fighting, which is why they're so aggressive compared to other starters

-The sterotype that Blaziken caw when the sun rises is actually partially true. They caw to warn other members of their flock or to get their attention, and the sun rising lets them know it's day and time to get up to avoid any potential predators

-The downside to this though is that you can train them to be quiet, but they'll come into your room and wake you up at dawn either way

-Blaziken have a status on the Hoenian Horoscope! They're the 10th Zodiac

-Combusken and Blaziken meat is commonly eaten around the world, but in Hoenn, killing and eating a Blaziken can get you fined and a potential 3 years in prison

-While Blaziken can swim and do fine in water, they don't like it and instead bathe themselves using mud, dirt, and dust

-Despite being birds, and most birds being in the flying egg group, Blaziken are NOT in the flying egg group. Researchers think that the ability to breed with other birds died out because they spent all of their time on the ground away from them (my opinion is that it's just egg groups are weird but I can't be biased when sharing facts...)

-Like most fire types, Blaziken will warm their eggs using their fire abilities

-Blaziken's closest relatives are Hawlucha, Dodrio, and Unfezant

Pokemon Crossbreeds: Cadenza

Cadenza is the name for Lapras whose fathers were members of the Popplio line. Their name comes from Cadenzas, which are solos played before the endings of operas. They got their name from Lapras and Primarina's singing, and how Lapras are often found alone these days...

Cadenza Lapras gain the traits of Primarina, which includes lighter scales, a more bluish shell that matches the tails of Primarina, pointed scales, split tails, and paw-like fins. Cadenza Lapras sing more beautiful songs than standard Lapras, and it uses its singing to control the bubbles and ice around it. They're not show breeds, but many pokemon-based operas love them.

Where is the line between Pokemon and non-pokemon organism? I've seen mushrooms, so fungi exist, and trees/plants aren't Pokemon either but are alive. Are there non-pokemon insects, flies, and plankton? Or livestock?

There aren't any non-pokemon insects or livestock. From what we know now, humans are the only non-pokemon beings that aren't plants or fungi.

There is some debate, but the tiny bugs we see are still pokemon. They're just incredibly weak and can't be used for battle and don't have fully developed brains, so they're just used for food instead.

To be honest, I don't know what separates human and pokemon. That part is still confusing to me. Sorry :(

Ooc: Headcanon that there's like tiny bug pokemon that are pretty much useless because they aren't very smart and have like a base stat total of like 5, and they're just good for other pokemon.
