Do you have a favorite “Color-Theory Fun Fact?”

The theory if color relativity is the idea that if you put one color up against another it’ll appear a different shade versus if you were to put it up against a different one. This is why when you colorpick a hue from an image and bring it onto a white canvas it looks totally different!

Here’s an example using the complimentary colors orange and blue! The blue bar in the middle looks different depending on which color it is against! The left looks lighter while the right looks darker, but the reality is both of these bars are the same color!
