Of Oak
not ash, not elm, but oak I am and tall and proud I stand as many kinds of trees there are are humans in this land not only two, but manigfold are carved from noble wood and many we are still today where we have always stood
-
This was inspired by hearthkvlt 's "Carved from Oak" sticker. They say: "Humanity is a forest. 🌲 These stickers call upon the Norse creation myths. If man was carved from ash, and woman from elm - then there are as many genders as there are trees."

It’s time for an exhilirating round of book recs based on shows and other books you’ve likely loved! They may not all be 🎃spooky👻, but there’s something about them all that feels apt for spooky season.

My experiences with Jane Austen books so far look like this:
Northanger Abbey: instant favourite, 5 stars, I want a boyfriend like Henry (yes, I am 100% serious here)
Persuasion: I kind of hate this book with a passion, but I won't elaborate for my own good. Please don't ask, it annoyed me a lot. 😓
Pride and Prejudice: quite boring, occasionally funny, but mostly boring. I found Darcy more interesting in the beginning, when he was still all bitchy lol
Sense and Sensibility: only read like 70 pages, it was okay but not that spectacular
So, and now I'm wondering whether anyone could tell me if I should bother reading her remaining works or not. E.g. if S&S is worth finishing, or if either Emma or Mansfield Park is likely to be more to my tastes. Help?

SURPRISE!
Not only are my Etsy store and website back open, but I’ve released CLOTHING!
At the moment, only the “Support Inclusive Heathenry”, “Blessed Heathens”, and “Blessed Heathens - Pride” designs are up, but I’ve got plenty more to come!
I know it’s been a long time, but if you’re still here, thank you from the bottom of my heart for continuing to support me as I figure out my way ❤️ You really so mean the world to me, and I’m so thankful you’re here.
