You hummed to yourself as you made coffee. You leaned over the kitchen counter, watching the coffee pour into the coffee pot. You went to the pantry to get stuff out to make pancakes. You were pouring pancake mix in a bowl while humming lyrics to your favorite song and swaying your hips side to side. You felt an unfamiliar presence behind you. You turned around to see one of the construction workers standing a couple feet away from you.

“Umm, what are you doing in here?” You asked him, raising an eyebrow.

The construction worker didn’t say anything. He just stared at you. That’s when you realized you were only wearing one of Tommy’s shirts and a pair of panties underneath it. You shrieked and pulled it down to cover your ass.

“Tommy!” You yelled.

Tommy came running into the kitchen within 5 seconds.

“What’s wrong, babe?” Tommy asks.

“This weirdo thought he could get a free peak of me in my panties!” You say, feeling your cheeks heat up in embarrassment.

Tommy felt his blood boiling as he looked at the construction worker. He gently pushed you behind his body, shielding you from him.

“What the fuck is wrong with you?!” Tommy asks, raising his voice at the guy.

“I uhh…” The guy stuttered with wide eyes, not knowing what to see.

“You uhh what?” Tommy mocked him. “You thought you could see my wife in her panties and get away with it?” He says.

“I’m sorry, sir!” The guy apologizes. “I promise it won’t happen again!” He says.

“You’re damn right it won’t happen again cause you’re fucking fired!” Tommy says.

“Wh-What?” He asks, blinking a couple times.

“You’re fired! Get your shit, get out of my house, and most importantly, stay the hell away from my wife!” Tommy pointed at the door. “If I ever catch you staring at my wife again, you’re going to regret it.” He says.

The guy gulped and nodded, quickly leaving the kitchen. Tommy sighed loudly, running his fingers through his hair. He looked down at you and wrapped his strong tattooed arms around you protectively, pulling you close to him.

“Are you ok, baby?” Tommy asks softly.

“I am now.” You say, laying your head against his chest and traced one of his many tattoos on his arms.

“Did he touch you or hurt you in anyway?” He asks. “Cause if he did, I’ll kick his ass.” He says.

“No. He just made me feel uncomfortable with his staring.” You say, looking up at him.

Tommy cupped your cheeks and kissed you passionately.

“Is it ok if you hold me while we stand here?” You asked.

“I have a better idea.” Tommy says.

Before you could ask what his idea is, he picked you up and walked to the living room. You instinctively wrapped your legs around his waist. He sat down with you on his lap and rubbed his hand up and down your back.

“I still want pancakes.” You mumbled loud enough for him to hear.

Tommy chuckled and kissed the side of your head.

“I’ll make you some pancakes, baby.” Tommy says, gently moving you onto the couch next to him before standing up.

“I love you so much, Tommy.” You say, kissing him.

“I love you too, babe.” He says against your lips.

Ichiji's daughter i am so SO proud of her fit. i did not look up a reference or even inspo ideas at all, that all came from the ole noggin baybeee. anyways she is obviously based off a magical girl(s) fit bc she wants and DESERVES to be. also since Reiju doesn't have any kids of her own (based wine aunt) i also decided to let Little Red have some of her motifs instead of just purely Ichiji's!! primarily the 66 on her pants but also all the pink on her instead of just red :) and obviously she has her dads number and while she DOES have a (white? bc like daddy shes a special little princess /aff) cape i didn't include it here bc it looked reallly bad lmao. but she does have one tucked into the bow probably!! there she is, Sparkling Red Neo!!! OKAY LET ME TALK ABOUT THE MOST MINISCULE YET MOST IMPORTANT DETAIL TO ME AND ME ALONE FIRST. that being the symbol on the brats belt. it was actually inspired/based off of this post which really stuck with me with me after reading it which i later realized was bc the "that something has been completely reversed" REMINDED ME OF THIS POST OF YOURS. i don't think im especially good at theory crafting but. idk i think there could be Something about how after judge came and turned germa into mercenaries their symbol turned from what once symbolized 'purity' into the skull of war mongers and then BACK to purity after 0124 get germa on the right path... poetry or smthn. ANYWAYS yah shoe shiners got a pretty basic fit bc like i said in the og ask, hes a sora warrior of the sea fan, once he saw the raidsuits irl methinks he'd want to stay pretty close to the og design. HOWEVER he refuses to drop the hat (much to Niji's dismay) and i came up with a reason besides 'its one piece and therefore there's GOTTA be a kid with a weird hat that they're attached to': and that is the fact that it hides his eyebrows. Little Red has the curly brows, all of Yonji's cabbage patch does too, and the brats the only one without. even if literally no one else notices or cares, he wants to hide the fact that he doesn't have em because it Separates him. and he doesn't want that. at all. he really, Really wants to be a part of this family (oh no i made it. angsty). DAY 119: in reference to DAY 51 & my reply to @/samurai-yaiba-sillies…

in DAY 51 i discussed how i don’t think reko would have a lot of tattoos. i think she would only have a few that hold great meaning to her. the one on the back of her neck being samurai yaiba’s logo: something she now hides behind turtlenecks and flipped up collars. between her shoulder blades is skullnutz’s logo: showing her moving on from alice’s murder case and pursuing a music career again. one that i’ve recently thought of is a post-game tattoo (if she ever had a chance of surviving). just alice’s signature along her collarbone: in this way, she can keep alice close to her heart. she would probably get a tattoo as a momento to all the participants, but i couldn’t think of a design nor could i think of where she would put it… maybe on her wrist? alice is just a special case since he is her brother after all.

anyway, no more emoness. PIERCINGS!!!! during her highschool hardcore rebel phase, i definitely think she went a little overboard with piercings. she’d get almost any she thought were cool at the current moment, only to end up getting bored of the placement and taking them out to let them heal over. i usually draw her with all of the piercings i headcanon her to still have (collar bone piercings, her ear piercings, and a tongue piercing), but i also drew her with an eyebrow piercing here. i like to think her and alice have matching eyebrow piercings (which is alice’s only piercing) and, after alice’s murder case, she took it out and let it heal over. kind of like a metaphor? as the hole healed, she healed too. that’s silly. i talked about it in my reply yesterday. another post-game thing— she re-pierces it in remembrance of him as well.

i also said uhh… yesterday? on the same post i think? that i used to draw her with a bridge piercing. she probably got that during her rebel phase and ended up taking it out, too. LOL. they had a random spike in popularity, that’s the only reason i used to draw her with one.

and that spider bite drawing in the corner…. ever since i drew her with them once, i haven’t stopped thinking about it…….. she is So Cool

(also i added chrissy, eddie, and reader as a friend trio because we were robbed of the eddie and chrissy dynamic)

"but eddieeeeeeeeeeee!" you whine, you've been trying to coerce him into letting you try some of the 'special k' that your guys' best friend chrissy said made her chill out quite a bit,

"no! you get high as fuck after like 2 hits of a joint! this shit will make you feel like you're in a different plane of existence!"

"you gave some to chris!"

"she told you about that? ugghh she can't be going around telling people that i sell ketamine!" he groans,

"eddie all three of us are best friends she's gonna tell me you gave her ketamine. oh and here's a golden idea, maybe you shouldn't be selling ketamine?" you say with an obvious tone,

"i have to make money somehow!"

"eddieee pleaaaseeeeeeeee?" you look at him with puppy dog eyes, "i'll pay double for it even!"

"i am not giving you ketamine."

"chrissy said it helped her a lot and that she wants some more!"

"if chrissy finished that bag already she needs a lot of help," eddie jokes, "look, we have movie night tomorrow right? ask if she'll bring what she has left and we will all have some. because i am not dealing with you high as fuck alone."

"ugh whatever edward." you pout,

you rode to school with chrissy ranting about how excited you were for movie night, she couldn't believe eddie was actually letting you have some ketamine, but she wanted to see what your reaction would be.

when you two pulled into the school parking lot you jumped out of the car excited to bug eddie, so you grab chrissy by the arm and drag her into the cafeteria where he usually sat with hellfire before classes started. eddie was there with hellfire, but there was a girl who sat to his left, laughing. in the spot you usually sat in. you look over at chrissy, "who's that?" jealousy blooming through your veins, you shouldn't be jealous because you and eddie were just friends. but you've had feelings for him ever since last year, and this girl was a complete match for him. black sabbath t-shirt and tattoos.

"uhh i dont know, maybe she's new."

you both walk over to the table "hey eds!" you sit in the chair on his right.

"hey y/n! this is adelaide!" eddie introduces you to the girl and she puts her hand out which you reluctantly shake,

"hey adelaide." you grit out, and you notice the venom in your words was noticeable as the girl and everyone else's faces drop.

"you alright?" chrissy asks,

you turn to her and form a tight lipped smile, "mhm," you hum, "i'm good. golden!" your jaw clenches in jealously, this goes unnoticed by you but chrissy notices and grabs your arm muttering a quick ‘excuse us for a second’ pulling you aside,

“what’s up?” she asks,

“what?”

“you look like you’re going to jump across eddie and murder adelaide, what’s wrong?”

“nothing.” you grit out,

chrissy quirks and eyebrow at you, you’re a bad liar.

“i’m just jealous.” you mumble,

“y/n, eddie just met adelaide you don’t need to worry about her, i guarantee she’s nothing to worry about.” she tries to soothe, which makes you feel a little bit better. eddie just met this girl so there was really no reason to be so jealous.

“yeah okay.”

you went back to the table and conversation flew by and it was time to get to first period, which went with you eyeing eddie down the whole time. which led to the predicament you got yourself into in 4th period, he grabbed your arm and dragged you to the janitors closet,

“what the hell is your problem y/n?”

“excuse me?” you say taken aback, what was your problem? “eddie you were practically making heart eyes towards that new adelaide chick at breakfast today!”

his mouth adopts a bit of a smirk, “okay? why do you care?”

“don’t fucking smirk at me like that!” god he was so hot annoying, “i don’t care eddie,” lie. i really don’t i just-it’s just you can’t-“ you start stammering trying to find a valid reason to be so upset with him,

“if you can’t find the reason you’re pissed at me and tell me by the end of today i’m not coming to movie night.” he says sternly, well that was one way for you to find the courage to tell him what was wrong. he storms out of the closet leaving you alone.

the next time you see him was in the hallways with adelaide at his hip. then you see him at lunch and he was sitting with adelaide again. she was in your spot. her hands are all over him, she literally just fucking met him. that’s the part that pissed you off the most, she just met him and she’s all handsy.

you walk up to the table and clear your throat, “hey eddie sorry to bother you right now since you’re uh-“ you look over to adelaide who’s rubbing her hands down his chest, “can i talk to you?” you grit out, “alone?”

“i’m bus-“ he’s trying to get a reaction out of you, that son of a bitch.

“now.” you say without thinking, “it’s important.”

“mhmmm yeah one second-“ you glare at him to which he rolls his eyes and stands from his seat and follows you into the janitors closet you two were in earlier,

“what’s up?” he asks,

“why do you care y/n? you can’t get mad at me for simply hanging out with her.” he’s teasing you now. just trying to piss you off at this point, you know it.

to this his face grows serious, he thought you were a bit jealous but you seem pissed,

“hey i was just joking what’s up y/n?”

“i just- ohmygod eddie i-“ you didn’t think he would actually stay in here he’s usually stubborn as hell, “eddie i don’t know why but i don’t like seeing her all over you like that, it-it drives me fucking crazy.”

he’s smirking fully now and you wanna slap that smug look off his face but you keep talking,

“i think it’s because i wanted it to be me.” you say the last part quietly,

“because what?”

“it’s because i want it to be me!” you say loudly looking down at your feet, “i want to be right next to you in the hallways and i want to have more things in common with you, i mean she’s literally just like you eds!“ his face softens at the nickname, “and-and we barely have anything in common! so you’re probably bored of me and-“

“bored of you?” he says,

“yeah.” you look up at him,

“why would i get bored of you? you’re amazing and sweet and you’re gorgeous. yeah we don’t have much in common but that doesn’t mean i’d just up and leave because i met someone who likes the same shit as me.”

“you think i’m pretty?” you tease,

he grabs your chin and his face gets close to yours, “the prettiest.”

q3 2021 update & plot call !!

below the cut, you can find an update on ash’s current life, career (or rather absence of), and development for quarter three, as well as plot and thread ideas! if you see anything that you’d like to plot out or write with him, like this or message me, and we can get to it! i have a lot in mind about where ash is right now, so i might add more and expand later on!

professionally

ash is on hiatus the whole quarter so... not much going on here.

uhh basically the first two days of july he was still trying to get bc to let him take a break so schedule threads could be set then if they cross paths at the bc building! he’s going to be participating in concert rehearsals for knight to a less intense extent since bc, as of the beginning of his hiatus, fully intends him to participate in the concerts. he’ll miss about the first half of the tour, but in july and august he’ll still be attending knight tour rehearsals some to keep up. schedule threads can also be done then!

(note that he’ll be missing the bc city concert as well — i don’t see him dropping by just to support either tbh, sorry bc ppl. white knight duo ver tho let’s gooooooooooo)

ash will eventually start writing music and finding his love of that again though and that’s pretty much the most work he can do during his hiatus, so it’d be cool to maybe have him write, compose, or produce for a few people that might be releasing later this year or sometime next year if anyone is interested? :) we can see if ash would work for it. there’s also opening for him to ask a few people he’s close to to sing some demos for him when he starts trying to write again!

personally + plot ideas!

explaining how he got to his hiatus would take me all day but he basically forced bc’s hand in letting him take time off (well, he wanted to leave knight and retire ngl but his manager was like... you know that’s not going to happen let’s try a hiatus <3). you can read my badly-written solos for part of it (i still need to write more) but generally, the most other muses might know is that they might have run into him acting kinda moody/down or impulsive/irresponsible lately, he made a very uncharacteristic post on social media that hinted at being unhappy with his life currently and losing passion/excitement for even the things he used to value most highly before his social media was deactivated by bc lmaaooo. the post would have probably conveyed Something was up it it wasn’t like genuinely super triggering-level content i promise !! bc released a statement shortly after stating he’d be going on hiatus without mentioning a definitive end date.

so there’s the possibility a muse might have checked up on him after that post / the hiatus news to see how he was doing?

tbh ash isn’t going to be seeking out meeting new people during his hiatus. he’s taking time to himself and is only going to make any effort to hang out with people he’s comfortable with. those he’s not close to, he’s going to have to interact with by running into unintentionally.

he’s getting a place in jeju in the early-ish part of his hiatus. he’ll be spending a lot of time there at first because he just wants to get away from seoul, so it’d be nice to set some threads there if your muse has the time to hop over to visit him if they have anything resembling a free day. (again a certain level of closeness would be necessary, but i think one good heart to heart conversation beforehand could bring someone closer to him enough for that rn! even over text tbh lmao). chuseok would be a really good time for this !! i imagine catching up over lowkey dinners or heart to hearts under the stars, that found family ash has actively fought having lol

(that place in jeju is also going to be where he starts to want to write music again too, so music based stuff there would be chill?)

heart to hearts in general anywhere would be really good for ash right now so please give me those! they can be in seoul too for sure.

he’ll be moving into a new apartment in seoul eventually, though that will probably be a little later in his hiatus? he had some bad fan/sasaeng run-ins right before his hiatus and having so much time off makes him realize he wants to move. someone can help him house hunt or if someone else is looking for a place, they can talk together about it. i want him to realize he wants to move into a smaller place that can feel more like home

once he does move, muses are free to come over and help him set up / be his one-man housewarming party. that’s a little down the line tho !! so we might not want to plot that as a thread to write right this instant

he may also be getting a pet ! muses can come look with him at a shelter or he can run into people there!

this would be a little later in his hiatus, but it’d be interesting if once he’s doing a little better, he gets the urge to dance and runs into a muse at the dance studio. idk that he’ll ever fall completely back in love with dancing, but he might rediscover some of what he did love about dancing and ash and this muse often run into each other as he visits that dance studio a little more often and they eventually bond over it / do some dancing together.

those who still really have that passion for making music ash has lost, talk to him about it <3 he misses it. he might cry but tbh he’s liable to cry in any thread

he’s cutting his hair short and dying it back to black this month, so it would be possible to run into him at the hair salon!

ash will want to be inside at home mostly at the beginning of his hiatus, but as it goes on, he’ll start to branch out and that will offer some more opportunities to hang out. he’ll try not to go to bars and clubs really, but small music venues or jazz lounges, small indie cinemas, galleries, those kind of things will be up his alley

idk that there’s much plotting to be had around this, but this long hiatus on top of the other hiatuses he’s had and his acting out before this hiatus is going to make some of the bc team realize it might not be super wise to keep pushing him hard as a cf model (and in the long run, just less of pushing him as a major idol star within the company in general tbh) so he’ll be able to get some more tattoos and piercings and will become more comfortable, hopefully, with presenting himself how he wants to be seen / having some development in that good ol’ lack of bodily autonomy aspect ash has always had going on. he’ll be coming out of hiatus living much more of his 2021 jk fc truth with the full sleeve and the eyebrow piercing .

uhhh ? pretty far down the line but i’ll mention it while it’s on my mind :) i think it’d be cool if ash did a collab (mini-)album (or two?) at some point after getting off hiatus. i’d want it to be someone he really clicks with creatively (though they don’t have to be a songwriter — i can see it working as collaborative songwriting or as ash feeling really inspired to write for them) and wants to work with since it’s not going to be something he’s letting bc push him into it at that point, and something that just happens organically. realistically, this would work with a female vocal best by far, maybe a male rapper just based on the songs ash does / i can see him doing. probably wouldn’t want to commit to anything fully rn unless it really clicks but i wanted to throw the idea out there :)

uhmmm?? ig i should also mention ash will be paying attention to his health both mental and physical he’s been neglecting for a while. there isn’t too much to say regarding plotting here because he needs to handle it himself with trying new therapy, medications, understanding there’s some stuff beyond “just” his depression going on. coming to accept nothing’s ever going to be perfect, but that self-awareness and effort can help more than denial can. not super plot potential-y but i’ll mention it since this is all the personal update section

basically, ash is taking time to recover mentally (and physically) and ultimately hopefully leave hiatus in a better place than he started where he can be more comfortable in his career, even if just a little bit, in himself, and in his life. if he can have some good, developing threads during the time, that’d be great!

Scars: The most prominent scars are on the right side of his face, basically next to the nose on the cheek and then also a bit through his right eyebrow and above it. He has smaller scars all over his body because of his previous line of work, but the biggest one is on his left thigh where he once got shot with a crossbow bolt. He took a long long time to recover and the situation was pretty dire - luckily Duke managed to pull through though. It's still painful on most days though so he has to rub numbing ointment onto it before he goes anywhere, especially exploring. He doesn’t wanna let others see it though.

Facial Features: He has a very beautiful prominent nose and freckles all over his face from spending so much time outdoors. When you look at him head-on you can see that his nose is a bit crooked (to the right) because one time he broke it, it didn’t heal properly. He has hooded eyes but they’re pretty big and very long yet sparse eyelashes. Because he’s an oldd mann he’s also got quite a share of wrinkles and since becoming the Inquisitor he has developed dark circles underneath his eyes. He also has nice luscious lips ;) Oh! And he keeps his beard very clean and groomed. Every morning (if possible) he redoes the braids in it and combs it and stuff. He’s incredibly proud of it.

Tattoos: No tattoos. Even though he respects the Stone, he's very proud to call himself a surface dwarf and to him tattoos on dwarves, especially facial ones, only belong underground.

Museum of Mayhem Art Analysis

ahhh it’s finally here and it’s AWESOME. Lots of credit to @ifalnasminiatures for bringing this to my attention! Also credit to Hayder Hype for providing (nat zero six on gearbox forums) sources (Ashley Landry on twitter) in the description of his video because oh man it’s a lot

lots to talk about especially regarding the calypso twins so let us dive right in

tl;dr: tyreen has a weird red marking on her face in some old designs. i think troy used to be blind and missing his metal plates. more proof for my elpis/chemical sludge/lost legion theory that the twins are using said chemical sludge to give their followers psuedo-siren powers bc a dahl pumping station (hyperion pumping stations on pandora) but dahl had a presence on the moon

one of my favorites, it reminds me a lot of the Mask of Mayhem, but for villains.

Punk Girl is shown again twice, probably further proving she’s tied in with the CoV somehow

we also got some crazy looking villains such as

baby face. which is all kinds of extremely fucked up

this dude who looks like he could be a miniboss with the glasgow smile and the cool goggles

this guy who i legitimately thought was dr zed for a hot second there

could it be

the evilest brother?? pfft nahhh

this girl who seems like she could be a unique character with a baseball cap. wondering if maybe she’s related to Punk Girl in any way. What’s the verdict on the other band members? 🤔

uhh let’s give it a solid maybe and move on

this piece! very interesting to me

so, the very first thing i noticed is zane’s eye patch being on the other eye lol

amara’s tattoos are also gone, however that might’ve been for reasons similar to the japanese cover art of the game.

most interestingly is a point @ifalnasminiatures made and it’s that the calypso twins are actually palette swapped! you can see Troy is the one with the white hair and Ty is the one with the darker hair. which I think mayyy play into a few things we see later about the twins

we also see a tiny ship in the background. i can’t tell if that’s sanctuary-iii or the blue/yellow ship, it all blends together a lot due to the quality of the pic. but it is next to the calypso twins, which makes me want to believe it’s the blue/yellow ship we see with red markings all over it. you know this one from the mural of mayhem wallpapers

interestingly, i feel like the roses might have been a thing they just put in for the new cover art. haven’t seen hide nor hair of them across any of the pictures i’ve seen.

we got a lot of figures. out of them i most definitely recognized amara, salvador, maya, another salvador?, zer0, moze (maybe?), and axton. i thiiink one of them is maya as well, but im not 100% on that.

i can guess why they didn’t pick this one: it’s hard to tell who’s who. a lot of these poses make the silhouettes kinda hard to see and the merging together at the bottom makes things even worse. i do think it’s interesting there are some bl2 characters on here as well, but hayder hype mentioned they very well could be placeholders, and given that i can’t make out fl4k or zane, im inclined to believe him.

there’s a new red planet which hasn’t been shown off before, looks like a gassy planet kinda like jupiter, but interestingly it has this green crack in the side?

very reminiscent of pandora’s eridium scar. i am wondering if this is because this planet had a vault opened, or if it is tied to the Eridians at all. be interesting if it was their homeworld.

also i have no idea what the symbolism is in the homeworld destroying another planet but maybe we shouldn’t think about it too hard e_e

tbh, i thought this was elpis the first time i saw it due to the cracks, but i figured elpis doesn’t have like continents across its surface, just craters. and wayyy more cracks.

so it’s probably not pandora and it’s probably not elpis.

i do think the actual shot is suspended above promethea, you can see the familiar asteroid belt surrounding it

there’s also a planet in the background,

which i imagine isn’t pandora bc no eridian scar

could be elpis or eden-6, or the 5th planet we don’t know about. i kinda get the feeling the 5th planet may be that gaseous red planet tho. which is probably going to be super weird to traverse now that i think about it. they said oz kits weren’t coming back, right? i wonder how that would work. hmmmm

there’s also this redder planet here which i actually DO think is Pandora. if you squint real hard u can see the purple from the eridian scar. plus the color matches up pretty well with the pictures provided above.

there’s also these two bodies over in the corner where the light is coming from. i can’t tell what they’re supposed to be

there are also these little dudes in the top right

i assume they’re maliwan? they remind me a lot of the maliwan drop ship things that fly overhead when you enter promethea

YESSS okay this is the start of some PRETTY WILD twin stuff

troy: missing his tattoos, blind in one eye, has a weird mark above his eyebrow. also, no metal bits!

Tyreen!!! with a red stripe across her left cheek going up to her eye??? no tattoos on her left arm as far as we can see, but that might be for marketing reasons (she’s also covering up part of her bicep). she’s also missing her coat and chains and wearing a different glove.

we also have a bunch of bl2 VHs taking up space. again i think hayder hype is right in that they’re simply placeholders. not much else to say, but

this trend of Tyreen having red markings on her face and Troy being blind in an eye (or both) actually continues through a fair amount of these posters!!!

more cover art. one of my least favorites again... i just think it looks like the psycho is puking out the VHs. also, seems to be an older version of the psycho mask.

fl4k seems to be less rendered than the rest of the cast? like they have less detail, especially on their coat

also you can see an older looking space shuttle up at the top, which reminds me a lot of the one we use in TFTBL to get to helios. except less caravanny and more rockety

the splatter also reminds me of siren powers, with the purple and the glitter. it’s cool that it’s showing a different shot than what’s behind it. maybe a hint to siren powers because it’s sort of like a portal.

this time troy is blind in both eyes it seems,

tyreen seems to still have a mark on the left side of her face, im wondering if this ties into her scars at all? it doesn’t seem as prominent as the previous red mark.

Zane seems to have an actual eye patch instead of his more high-tech eye patch, which reminds me a lot of the leaked character concepts from like january i wanna say

amara seems to be dual wielding lol i wonder if originally that was going to be one of her 3 skills but then they were like “wait salvador. wait. nisha. FUC-”

also fl4k is being obscured by this weird saturn-like planet. let them be free!

moze is missing, the saturn like planet shows up 2 times total, and that blue/yellow ship is seen again behind troy

as for the purple stuff? you already know my theory that the twins are going to be using the chemical sludge on elpis to empower their followers. it could also just be straight eridium/slag. you know, like the testing from the WEP with bloodwing and even krieg. we’ll have to see. it would be interesting if they tied krieg into the story through there.

i do lowkey think it’s chemical sludge though, because some of it is actually glowing blue in places, you can see it clearly below amara’s feet. maybe some tie in to siren powers cuz they glow the same blueish color. who knoooows not i

big shot of this psycho here, looks like he’s crumbling.

i really like the 4 VHs standing at the base with the elongated shadows. very dark vibes from this tho, probably not suitable for the series as a whole. i can see why maybe they decided not to do it.

i wonder if we’ll see this giant psycho statue somewhere on pandora. it would certainly be a sight to behold.

also i kinda wish we had cloaks like the concept art shows. cloaks are cool

more sketchy art. this one is also kinda strange, i definitely get why they decided not to go thru with it.

possibly tie-in with the ‘mother’ imagery we get on the propaganda signs across pandora.

very bl2 like, im glad they didn’t stick with this. i like that they decided to change things up

troy seems to be blind and also missing his metal implants on his face. his jacket also looks a lot different, it looks more like tyreen’s with the spikes and stuff across it. we also can’t see his metal arm at all, tho we do see his sword! which looks a lot different, im glad they decided to revamp it to be more visually interesting lol

tyreen is more interesting to me. it looks like her right arm has like a silver coating over it? unless that is a metal arm as well. she also is wearing a different kind of glove. her tattoos are missing as well, but again, it’s probably because of the cover art. her scars also definitely seem to have reached her left cheek at some point.

zane also looks a lot different, tho amara, moze, and fl4k look about the same.

another shot of the ship, this one is definitely the blue/yellow one. there’s gotta be some significance with that, right? either we’re getting skins for sanc-iii, we’re going to be painting it a new color, or it’s a different ship.

not a lot to say here. i actually like this one lol it’s very mellow and straight to the point. it’s nice that the logo is right in the middle, not at the top like most of them.

one of my favorite ones out of all of them. it’s beautiful, i really wish they had kept it. Fl4k is missing but i assume they were meant to go next to Amara? i also think it’s interesting Moze is in the front, as I took Amara to be the leader this time around. Zane is also an older design, with the eyepatch back on his left eye again (starting to think this is an aesthetic thing lol) and a black jacket instead of blue.

We see the twins on the top. Tyreen has that mark on her face again, and Troy is the same as the last few covers.

We also see Maya, Zer0, and for some reason Brick? Which is weird to me considering we have a few other characters who initially feel much for important to the story (cough Lilith cough), but I’m not complaining.

the purple splatters again make me think this is a tie in to eridium/slag/elpis’s chemical sludge. i also like the logo being worked into the design instead of just thrown on top, i think that’s a nice detail

i couldn’t find a great shot of this poster which is a shame because it’s one of my favorites

a lot of baddies to go around on here. i love the dude up top, he reminds me of the Anchormen from the captain scarlett dlc in bl2!

i’ve been thinking and tbh i think the multiple planets thing was just an excuse for gearbox to go absolutely ham on the character designs/settings.

i mean why should they have to hold back all their medieval armor designs for another dlc like tiny tina’s? all their pirate/sea-fairing designs for a pirate dlc? fuck it! go WILD. i think they did, anywho

there’s also this post which... tbh i can’t make out much at all. again, seems like an older psycho mask design. it looks like there are characters in the splatter on the bottom left, but it’s very hard to tell who’s who, especially at this angle and image quality lol

if we get a better shot later on i may return to this piece and try to figure things out!

we also have this piece which is giving me huge ‘Happy Together’ vibes. very trippy

moze looks like she’s using an untextured atlas gun? dunno what’s going on with that tbh lol

i really like this one too. it’s cool. i get why maybe they wanted to go a little crazier tho, feels too simplistic for the MAYHEM vibe they’re going for.

we see a different looking blue/yellow ship flying away from the explosion. it seems to missing a lot of the parts that make sanc-iii so recognizable including the engines/wings

i like the destruction vibe they’re going for here, really sells the “universe destroying power” the twins are supposedly going to get.

anyway, in addition to the cover art pieces, we also got a few concept art pieces as well!

you see the aiming mechanism up there? you see how it’s aimed at that planet/moon? yeah i 100% timed this so you’d see the above concept art with this immediately after :P (im kidding i didn’t but hey now you don’t have to scroll)

and this does indeed looks to be a younger version of angel so credit to @prettypinkdork for mentioning that on my angel post. it is nice to see those tech-y wings in action, definitely does prove it’s her.

we can also see this art of what i think is Punk Girl, which is interesting to me because she looks to be doing something with her right hand. possible siren powers? maybe!

we also get a much cooler, bigger version of that maliwan ship people were talking about, with what look to be maliwan... eye bots? surrounding it. this is soooo fuckin awesome to me because it reminds me of a sailboat. and airships are fucking COOL

but something interesting is that i don’t think this ship was actually always maliwan

we got an A in the back here... for Atlas? i mean... you know it’s coming... the colors would match up. Yeahhhhhhh...

more interesting is that it actually looks like maliwan covered it up with their flags/tarps. i would not be surprised if this was claimed by maliwan possibly during the takeover.

Tagged by: @active-mind-15 Rules: Make them up as you go??? 1) What’s your favourite animal? Crap, I’m torn. I have an obsession for goats but I also have an obsession for dogs… But if I absolutely need to pick one it’ll have to be dogs. I’ve always wanted one since I was a kid and I squeal every time I see them on the streets. I personally love corgis but yes, dogs are my fave. 2) Do you watch YouTube or Netflix more? Lol I don’t have a Netflix so it’s obviously YouTube. Plus YouTube’s got the weird videos I love stumbling upon. 3) Do you like horror movies? Nope. Lol not at all. I absolutely hate anything that deals with horror. Horror movies, stories, rumors, anything. I cannot handle it. 4) Which fictional character is your favourite and/or which one do you relate to the most? Akashi Seijuro is hands down my favorite and will always be my favorite. I love that boy with all my heart that if he popped out of my screen I would not hesitate to marry him on the spot. While some may have been afraid of him or on the fence about him in the beginning of KnB, I have been in love since the start lol. I have a thing for redheaded anime boys but he just takes it all home. As for the character I relate to the most, I want to say Hinata Shoyo. One, I’m basically as small or smaller than him, and two, I always get teased about it like he does lol. I also play tennis ans like volleyball, the taller you are, the more of an advantage you have. So someone who’s as tiny as me has to work twice as hard to keep up with them, just like Hinata. 5) When you dream, do people you know show up in those dreams? Always. In fact, anytime I do dream someone I know shows up almost every single time. 6) Do you like taking baths? Actually, not really lol. I just don’t like sitting butt naked lol. 7) Milkshakes or Ice cream? Ice cream. I like milk shakes, but it’s so annoying having to wait a bit for it to melt before it can go through the straw lol. Ice cream’s easier it’s just scoop and eat. 8) Favourite food? OH BOY THIS IS TOUGH. Can I just say anything, and I mean ANYTHING Japanese. I love love love Japanese food. Absolutely beautiful in flavor and texture. If I have to choose one dish, then it’s going to have to be ramen. But not just any ramen. Hands down my favorite is the ramen from the restaurant called Ichiran. I had it in Shibuya when I was in Japan and it was honestly the best ramen I’ve ever had. I miss it so much. 9) Do you have/want tatoos? And what was your first/what do you want to get first? I have no tattoos and I don’t really want any lol. I don’t like the fact that it’ll probably hurt to get one, so I’d just avoid the whole thing altogether. 10) If could have any superpower, what would it be? I’m going to have to go with Telekinesis. Reading people’s minds and using your mind to control objects and stuff seems so cool. Telepathy is cool too, and I’m kinda convinced that comes with Telekinesis? What do I get with Telekinesis lol? 11) If you were given the opportunity to go to space, would you? If it’s just go up to see the earth then back, yes. If not, then nah lmao. 12) Happiest memory? The entire week I was in Japan lol. I fucking love that place and I’ve never been so happy when I was there. I fell in love with Tokyo and Japan and I just want to go back as soon as possible. 13) Favourite song? I really don’t have one right now oops. But whenever “Despacito” comes on the radio I blast that cuz I love the tune lol. I’m a basic American. 14) Favourite scent? The smell of food cooking because I’m a self proclaimed foodie and just such a fatass for food lol I love food. 15) If you could have any animal on the planet as a pet, what would you choose? A fucking corgi puppy cuz I’ve been asking for a dog ever since I was five lol. I’ve been waiting for years, might as well get it as a pet before moving on to other animals. 16) Favourite feature about yourself? My hair, probably. According to my friends, it looks good both long and short. And it’s always so soft and silky and it’s naturally straight. And it blocks one of my eyebrows when I let it down so if I screw up no one sees it lol. 17) Have you been to a concert, if so which one? If not, which would you like to see? AHA YES. I’ve seen Bruno Mars, B.A.P., VIXX (SCREAMS CUZ THEY’RE MY FAVE KPOP GROUP) and BTS. So American, KPOP, KPOP, KPOP. My friends are trying to get me to go to Lollapalooza this year but idk 18) Favorite fruit? Strawberries. As long as they’re actually sweet cuz they taste good with chocolate, whipped cream or just by themselves. 19) Favourite colour? Damn this is another hard one. I really am loving pastel pink lately since it’s such a nice color to wear, but as an all time fave it’s going to have to be white. White means purity and cleanliness and it’s always beautiful as a dress. And white goes with basically everything, so from a fashion stand point it’s a must. Not to mention my wardrobe has a lot of white sooo… 20) What do you like to do to relax? I usually just sit back and watch anime or read fanfics or manga lol. I also write fanfics, but I’ve had a 3-month long writer’s block so clearly we can all see how that’s going. Playing tennis can also be a good stress reliever and since I’m playing it in college, it served as both practice and relieving me of stress. 21) Do you like anime? Anime is all I ever watch so uhh… Yes I fucking love anime. I can honestly only cry from anime. Anything on T.V. or in the movies I can’t cry. But if it’s anime and it’s sad I’m sobbing like a baby, oh god. 22) Proudest moment? My proudest moment would have to be winning the championship at one of my tennis tournaments during my senior year of highschool. We were down in Springfield and my partner and I were in the doubles championship against this team. And it was so goddamn frustrating because these girls kept cheating like no fucking other because they couldn’t return the balls that hit close to the baseline, so they’d just call them out when our balls were clearly in the lines. So when we asked for a line judge, their parents started bad talking us and saying how we’re rich kids who can afford line judges, which is not true at all. None of us are rich. And it’s not difficult to ask a random dude to stand there and make sure no one’s cheating. But long story short, we won in three sets and it was so satisfying because we ended up having to deal with them ourselves and we did. Plus both my partner and I were pretty weak mentally and would get frustrated easily, so you can imagine how pissed we were. But thankfully we picked ourselves back up and bam. Won. name: atlas ryder gender: trans guy ethnicity: japanese eye color: dark brown hair color/description: black and pretty short and messy, i dont remember the cc options off the top of my head but something like this skin (color, blemishes, tatttoos, etc): bunch of moles n freckles just like apollo, he doesn’t have quite as many scars as she does and doesn’t bruise as easily, but he’ll probs get an eyebrow scar? he also has a fair share of scars on his hands, mostly from accidentally burning or cutting himself on his own tools, but not as many as his sister. also has matching wrist tattoos with apollo, [x], he has the rocketship, apollo has the planet misc physical attributes: 6′0″; i imagine he and apollo are fraternal/non-identical twins so he’s always been taller than her lol, it’s always screwed up their plans to pretend to be the other :( preferred romance option: gil!!! cant believe my gay engineer is gonna fall in love with the gay engineer relationship with alec & sibling (do they get along? etc): he gets along better with alec than apollo does, if only because he was recruited into the initative earlier than his sis, and as a result, got a few chances to finally spend some time with his dad and sorta.. forgive him for the neglect? he still hasn’t 100% forgiven him but he’s not as angry as apollo. speaking of apollo, their relationship together is great - they’ve always been attached at the hip, close to co-dependent, and have depended on each other since they were kids. atlas is the only reason apollo joined the initiative honestly; she couldn’t stand never seeing her brother again. projected BFF (the squad mate who isn’t bae but you always take): i feel like he’ll get along with liam and vetra tbh - they’d bond over tech and whatnot. he probs has a soft spot for peebee too dreams/hobbies/likes: he loves loves Loves tech and science; he’s always been into engineering and has been building combat drones and turrets since he was a preteen. he also likes to write, i imagine he and apollo read together as kids and while her interest is solely in reading, his evolved into writing and creating his own stories. he’d never read his own out loud, tho fears/dislikes: public speaking is probably his biggest fear tbh? he doesn’t know how to deal with other people very well and prefers to stick to his drones and turrets and his writing. other (what else should we know about your ryder?): Big Gay Engineer, he’s also autistic and is probably addicted to coffee

APPEARANCE

Eye colour: voilet, but very bright Hair colour: black, long straight hair (has the tiniest curls at the bottom but only when it gets wet) Height: 5′8 Scars: at the beginning of the game sheo only had one on her left eye brow from an accident while at the circle. Now she has LOTS more, but one other prominent one on her face thats on her right cheek that she got fighting her first dragon haha.
