The ‘Escapades‘ in TGAA1 are already such a top-tier idea. I mean, I really wish we could’ve had those in any of the other games somehow.... Overall they’re an incredibly delightful addition to the game, and taking them individually, the least good ones are still like ‘well, that was a fun little vignette for these characters, I’m just not sure if it 100% gels with the main events of the game’.

And I think my favorite one right now has to be the first one, ‘In the Defendant Antechamber’. It just does… so much great stuff to the Asoryuu dynamic, recontextualizes everything that comes after in a way that makes it even better and just feels like such an Essential Viewing for really understanding these two.

It’s just… you can go through the entire game with Ryunosuke constantly calling Kazuma his ‘best friend’, the ‘person I trusts more than anyone else’ and you might just casually assume that these two go a long way back. Maybe not as much as Kazuma and Susato since Ryunosuke doesn’t have all the details about his childhood, but seeing how much they mean for each other, they must’ve known each other for a while, right?

ABOUT A YEAR AGO

They’ve known each other for a year, just a pretty ordinary year of school, and they’re already got that Unbreakable Homoerotic Bond of Trust, and Ryunosuke is fully willing to lay down his life for the sake of Kazuma’s dream of going to London. And Kazuma is fully willing to abandon his literal Life Mission of clearing his dead father’s name and avenging him in the shame of failing to defend Ryunosuke. And he drags Ryunosuke with him to London because he knows that he’s the only one who can keep him from straying from his path. And then Ryunosuke decides to dedicate his entire life in the memory of Kazuma. His college buddy.

But they’re not just college buddies. Because in that one year, they did forge such powerful emotional bonds that all of these actions make sense for them. Because they’re just that kind of Ridiculous Human Beings and I LOVE IT!!

And the story of how they met is just… perfection. Like, if you look at the pre-‘death’ Asoryuu dynamic, it’s very ‘Japan’s most amazing promising young lawyer-samurai is absolutely enamored with an Anxiety-Ridden Human Disaster’. Kazuma Asogi is the Proudest Moronsexual and Ryunosuke Naruhodo is dating way beyond his league.

But also….the thing that drew Kazuma to Ryunosuke in the first place is the fact that he bested him at something. Kazuma is this rising star at Yumei University, he’s got the brains and the brawn, it seems like he is poised for success and glory for the rest of his days - and then this anxious innocuous little goofball beats him… humiliates him even. Ryunosuke beat the star student of Yumei University without any ambition or ill-intention, he was just being himself, he is just this silly little linguistic dork who likes tongue-twisters.

And Kazuma feels no real resentment or spite about this defeat. He was beaten at his own game by such a silly little guy and all he feels is respect and affection and appreciation. A desire for friendship. Maybe even love.

And meanwhile, Ryunosuke has just kinda forgotten that this is how they met. I mean, it's not like he totally forgotten it, but... it doesn't seem to register as particularly Notable in his own memories. It's just not that important to him. That was probably a life-changing unforgettable event for Kazuma, but when Ryunosuke thinks about their friendship he just thinks about hanging out after class and eating Yakisoba together. Because that’s just the kinda guy Ryunosuke is, and I think Kazuma appreciates that just as much as his tongue-twister skills.

Also, it kinda connects to an idea I brought up in a previous post, that Kazuma Asogi is less of a direct counterpart to Miles Edgeworth and more of a… mirror image, an inversion.

Phoenix and Miles’ friendship started with Miles saving Phoenix…

A moment which was a world-changing story for Phoenix that literally defined his entire life, but Miles, although he always kept his memories of Phoenix close to his heart, can barely remember it.

Ryunosuke and Kazuma’s friendship started with Ryunosuke beating Kazuma. A moment that is… certainly not the most important thing in Kazuma’s life, but one that has certainly made his mark on him, and one that he is not going to forget. But Ryunosuke just... doesn't really think about it unless it's directly brought up.

And it’s just… such a good piece of characterization for both of them on every thematic level, I just love it so much!!

Eddie is the golden retriever in steddie and I will not be taking criticism.

Eddie is such a dork but at first glance most people don't know that. Like sure he hops on tables and yells at literally everyone eating lunch, but to everyone else, he just looks like he's an edgy delinquent who refuses to let people push his friends around. Like everyone else's perception is literally Eddie 'the freak' Munson regular HOSTS a satanic gang that plays games that allegedly involve sacrificing virgins and shit, no one would think he's lame they would think he is mysterious and cool, the ultimate bad boy if you will, so the obvious choice at first glance would be to make him the black cat.

HOWEVER, once you get to know Eddie he is a total dork, it's unavoidable. From conversation one Steve quickly realises that this guy who sells drugs, wears leather and battle vests, and listens to angry music is just a silly ball of energy that cannot be stopped. Eddie practices his dnd voices in the mirror and around the house, he loves the kids - I mean to be able to DM for a campaign with that many preteens in it you need to love them lol, he is so passionate about metal music and loves sharing it with other people. He's actually a really sweet goofball. Everyone thinks he's this cool bad boy but he's actually the golden retriever to the black cat Steve Harrington.

It has come to my attention that some people think Cad Bane is not overtly emotional and it makes me want to direct them to the source material. ✌🏻

Cad Bane is a cold-blooded killer, but he is also hot-headed with a foul temperament. He experiences fear. He experiences betrayal. He is spiteful. He is not above seeking revenge. He is easily annoyed. He also shows concern for his droid. To me, it is obvious he is hiding behind a callous exterior his true feelings, and he has little patience, but deep down he feels the full gamut of human ( alien ) emotions, and he's not always cool, calm, and collected.

Here are specific examples:

The many

Many

Many times Bane gets annoyed with Rako Hardeen.

That time he was totally betrayed and lost his shit.

That time he almost died in the fan blades. "Turn it off!"

That time the Jedi invaded his mind (but you gotta give him credit for holding out as long as he did).

That time he was a total dork and was so proud of himself for catching a lightsaber. "Ha ha!" (this one’s a bonus).

That time he snapped and asked the Hutts, "somethin' funny?" (Check your attitude, Mr. Bane.)

The time Ziro ruined his good mood and wiped the smile off his face. "I don't work for free."

That time he got annoyed with his employers in the Book of Boba Fett and was a smart ass.

That time Anakin Skywalker almost killed him and Rako interfered.

That time he was all grouchy with the Chancellor. "I make de rules now!"

That time he got super annoyed with the droid "Are you a medical droid?"

That time Fennec sabotaged his ship and left him stranded.

Also, in the audiobook he spent the entire time bitching, moaning and complaining about Dooku, Hardeen, and Eval, and called them things like "gasbag," and "fools," not to mention the sassy, snarky over the top performance he gave throughout the whole story. He hissed to imitate Bossk for God's sake.

Basically, this man might snap at the drop of a hat. These are the scenarios I can think of off the top of my head.

Oh, and he talks BIG GAME. Talks himself up. Says cheesy shit, scary shit, and is sometimes just a goofball.

“I’ve killed so many clones over de years …Once ye figure out one, de rest are easy.” *Looks casually at his toothpick*

“I make de rules now!”

“By hook or by crook, yer comin’ with me …”

He literally refers to someone as a bubble brain.

“I’ll take on any job … *dramatic pause* fer de right price.”

“Ye ain’t got de skills to be going up against me (to Shand).”

Etc, etc, etc.

Now imagine a young, fiery Bane in his youth. Mm.. love me a feisty cowboy. 👽🥵

so, so gentle.

we know what this man is like. he has such a naturally caring disposition, as well as being very emotionally intelligent

he's basically the human form of empathy so anytime you are feeling down or anxious he will notice and he will comfort you the best he can

in terms of being gentle physically, obviously he will make sure you are never in harm's way

the only time i can see him not being as gentle is if yall got into a tickle or pillow fight, he would restrain your arms and tickle you mercilessly istg-

when he gets really tired he will lean back in his chair, swivel round and look at you with a crooked smile.

i think he mentioned in one of the 2 kids room episodes or smth like that that he doesn't trust people that easily or that quickly?

chan is obviously outgoing and friendly, and can pretty much speak to anyone and make friends easily

but actually trusting them takes time and energy. he will have an invisible guard up to protect himself from disappointment

however, as more time progress and he begins to trust his partner more, he will open up more and will become more vulnerable

he loves cute little things you tell him and will store them in his memory only to bring them up in conversation randomly at like 2am

yk it's really hard for him to decide

you have become such an important person in his life that every moment with you is just *chefs kiss* perfect!

but one of his favourite moments he realises, looking back on your time together, is when you have fallen asleep on the couch in his studio

you were persistent in staying with him while he works, ignoring his gentle protests. you were catching up with work of your own, but as the hours progressed your eyelids felt heavier and heavier. you were consciously fighting the urge to sleep until you gave in, drifting off gently

so when chan turned around he was met with your cute, curled-up body, snoring softly. he wasn't surprised you fell asleep, but your sleeping form endeared him. a smile spread across his face as he chuckled softly, grabbing a blanket and tucking you in

why was this his favourite moment? it seems so simple. and it happens so frequently. but to him, these moments are when he realises how much he appreciates you. your comforting presence and need to take care of him makes him feel so loved and safe

i think most of his have seen that clip from the stray kids concert of chan's heartfelt speech, saying how he will protect all his members and all of us stays. protecting the ones he loves is clearly a priority of his

he would like to protect his partner in all aspects, but mainly from emotional harm

and he would like you to do the same for him. both of you protect each other from emotional harm because you guys support each other, giving each other a shoulder to cry on and a listening ear

channie is romantic af

when he has the time, he loves putting in the effort and setting up cute little dates with you, like making your favourite meal for you

he considers you hanging out in his studio as a date, and soon studio dates become a regular thing for you both!

we all know channie is a perfectionist

which isn't a bad thing

it just means that when things aren't up to scratch in his standards, he will beat himself up about it

he will get down about himself if he hasn't taken you on any special dates in a while, or he forgets a special anniversary etc...

so try to reassure him that he is enough, and that he's doing perfectly just how he is!

because sometimes your reassuring words can bring a lot of comfort to him <3

being an idol, chan is pretty much forced to care about the way he looks

we have seen on his past lives that he has shown distaste for the way he looks

he is human. he is like all of us

he has good days and bad days. one day he might feel hella confident in the way he looks as he freaking should but other days he will hide his face as much as he possibly can

which is ridiculous because he is the most handsomest man on the planet

so chan has a very mature approach to relationships

he believes that two people should be complete as individuals, maturing and accepting who they are and relying on themselves before they get into a relationship

that way, you have two healthy individuals trying their best instead of one relying on the other or not reciprocating the same effort or amount of love

the point I'm trying to make is doesn't see it as being 'incomplete' without you. but rather, he feels like he is a much, much better version of himself when he is with you

he just gets so endeared by the fact that you want to wear them

the first time you stole one of his favourite black hoodies, he chuckled

he will poke your cheeks and cuddle you while you explain that you like his hoodies because they smell like him :(

then he'll understand, and will basically give you free rein to take his hoodies so long as you don't spill anything on them

in general, chan doesn't like people who are completely selfish and only look out for their self-interests

or if they have no sense of compassion or empathy

he's fine with tough love, don't get me wrong, but someone who is devoid of empathy or makes no effort to understand someone else's point of view is someone chan tends to avoid

his sleeping habit is... he has no sleeping habits

What I love about Quinn and Logan, is that before dating Quinn, Logan was always afraid of being embarrassed or being a total dork. No matter what anyone thought. He was always too cool to have fun and really let loose.

But then, Quinn brought out that fun, goofy side within him that he was always too afraid to show. And loving her got him to do things he would've been too embarrassed to do before. Like eskimo kissing. Or having a good time among friends in a bar, ..or screaming that he loves her to their entire class (or out on a public street.) Or dancing like a total goofball. ❤️

But that's the Logan Reese that Quinn wanted to marry and be with forever. Because that's the one she fell in love with. Who he was in secret with her, I truly believe, was who he truly was. Or the version of himself he liked best. The one who wasn't so serious and self absorbed all the time, and just knew how to hang loose and just be in the moment with his sweetheart. ❤️

First impression: Oh wow, he's a total dork... I like him!

Impression now: WHY IS HE SO LIKE ME?! I'LL PROTECT THIS SWEET GOOFBALL WITH MY LIFE!!!

Favorite moment: Oh man, there's too many to count. I'd say... when KeeKee goes up to him and he cuddles her with an amazed expression on his face. Considering that KeeKee is the embodiment of the Hotel itself, it's a sign that he's been fully accepted as part of the team. Also, it's SO CUTE!!!!

Idea for a story: Sir Pentious is now in Heaven! What is going to happen? Will the angels accept him? How is he gonna cope with that? He basically ended up in a different place, without his new friends, it's not going to be easy for him...

Unpopular opinion: Yes, he's very sweet. No, he's not innocent: he IS in Hell for a good reason. Guy has tried to take over multiple times and has destroyed stuff. He has done many awful things out of insecurity, but he's the walking... slithering proof that anyone can change if they really understand what they've done wrong, and actively try to be better. And Pentious really took redemption to heart: that's why he's so endearing. Not because he hasn't done anything wrong, but because he has taken a genuine desire to become a different, more empathetic man.

Favorite relationship: On one hand, his shenanigans with Angel Dust are hilarious because of how different they are: one being a shameless teaser, the other an easily flustered mess. On the other hand, his rivalry/romantic tension with Cherri Bomb is adorable to witness: poor guy just wants to talk to her, but keeps fumbling, and she just humors him...

Favorite headcanon: Dudes... there's NO WAY this snake isn't autistic: raptor hands, high mechanical intelligence but disastrous social skills, tendency to monologuing and taking things very seriously or literally... Then again, Viv has liked a fan art with Pentious keeping his raptor hands with a writing saying "Autism hands", so maybe it isn't a headcanon, at this point, so... I'd say he's totally a cat person/snake, and he gets sad when they run away, being a snake and all; he gets rather nervous when around dogs.

Reader witnessing little moments of Eddie being a giant goofball dork when he doesn’t think anyone is watching. Either hc’s or a blurb, whichever you like!

in your defense, you totally knocked on the door of the trailer

it wasn't your fault that the music inside the trailer was turned up so loudly that you could feel it pulsing in your bones

eddie definitely hadn't heard the knock over his music

so you try again, wailing on the door to try to alert him to your presence

still, nothing

so you try the door and find it unlocked, and you carefully step into eddie's trailer

you're greeted by the sight of eddie in the middle of the living room

his back's to you, but you can clearly see that he's playing a mean air guitar

jumping around and his fingers flying as he pretends to play the solo in the metallica song, headbanging and sending his hair everywhere

it's so cute and you don't want to stop him

he's obviously enjoying himself

you cover your mouth to keep from laughing and startling him, and you watch as he falls to his knees and mimes the dramatic end of the song

finally, the song ends, and he gets up and turns around, and his entire face goes pale before going all red

"oh, hey" he says and you finally smile "how much of that did you see?"

and you go to him and press your hands to his burning cheeks and kiss him "i saw enough"

"oh" and he's all blushy and flustered "sorry about that..."

"nah, you're cute" you tell him and his chest puffs proudly "my cute little goofball"

I really hate the common characterization of Sid in fan fiction. I think writing him like a complete asshole that’s cold to Andy even if it is just the beginning of their relationship feels like playing to hard into the bad boy persona. Sure he likes the punk aesthetic but I think he would be much more goofy and fun to talk to. I mean in adult hood, as a kid I definitely think he would of had this hardened exterior. A bad home life and a sexuality crisis can do that. As well as extreme toy based trauma. As an adult though he would be a goofball that might make the occasional rude joke between friends but not a total jerk. He’s a dork just like Andy just in a different way. Also he would be eager to have a boyfriend rather than a FWB thing. He wants a loving relationship he just thinks Andy is out of his league (he is not)

not including myself in this for obvious reasons ajdjdjakjfakfn. some more propaganda for everyone:

my brother consistently goes out after worship practice and buys donuts to share with the entire team.

his bestie the teenage sound guy has called my brother "the light of my life" and I think it was actually unironic

I forget how many kids she actually has bc they're almost never in one place but she is AMAZING. she always has a hug and kind words for anyone around and is an amazing worship leader

the keyboardist is also occasionally a sound tech if needed and ALSO ALSO is occasionally a drummer if needed. it's ridiculous how talented he is. he just. Does Stuff. and it works. I could never

my dad goofs around just as much as everyone (this team is a bit of a rodeo) but he's definitely a bit more chill. he makes dated mainstream music references and then groans LOUDLY AND DRAMATICALLY when the younger members of the team don't get it. there's also an abundance of weird niche bassist humor.

I love my sister in law SO much she's amazing. she's got terrible stage fright. and YET. she is also a total dweeb during rehearsals. I have never heard a human being make some of the noises that she makes just to be silly. singlehandedly convinced everyone in charge to put on a dedicated worship night later this summer after everyone else has been kicking the planning can down the road for months

we have three main backup singers and all of them need a biiiit more confidence but also. that's the age. they're all in youth group so that's good. get those kiddos into the Word!!!! their commentary on worship team goings on are hilarious though bc they're newer to it and often just a bit confused by the older/more experienced team members playfully ribbing each other about things

one time I couldn't figure out where the on button for my computer monitor was (usually turning on the computer itself turns it on) and he walked around the other side of the booth and pushed a button I hadn't noticed on the back of it and I was deeply embarrassed but he was super chill about it. also he's helping me fix our lighting setup which has not worked literally in the time either of us has been at this church.

please help this man he's so busy and so dorky and really, really loud all the time. you would assume he's constantly overcaffeinated yet he actually hates coffee and never drinks it. he actually makes faces when he sees other people (me) drinking coffee. attempted to use Tumblr once bc he heard me talking to my mom about it. doesn't even know how to use Tumblr. this man is so weird and yet tries to be Hip™ so much. at this point it's probably For The Bit

Charmer (Dylan Lenivy x reader) part 2

Part 1

Okay guys! I really hope you liked the first part, and here is part 2! I plan to emerse the reader into the story, truly have you be a part of it all, with a couple nods to the actual events and everything! So I hope you guys enjoy the interaction between you and the other characters!

Tw: very slight angst, if you squint. Fluff! :)

Over the next two months, small interactions like this had developed as part of your guys' new daily routine, subtle touches, longing looks thrown at eachother when the other wasn't looking, and not to mention the teasing from your other Counselor friends.

All of the constant flirting had really brought the two of you closer than you had anticipated, and of course in no time you had began to grow a greater fondness of the awkward sarcastic goofball of a man, the heat in your face slowly becoming more about who the comments were coming from, rather than the comments themselves.

However, all wonderfully good things must come to an end, and before you knew it, summer was coming to a close for Hackett's Quarry. From all of the more serious conversations you had shared with the lovable dork, you both found out that you guys were going to colleges close to eachother, him majoring in Physics, and you in (Major of Choice).

So once you guys got back you had already started planning the rest of your summer around helping eachother move to your respective campuses.

You had planned on confessing your budding feelings for the cute sweetheart whilst trying to find your guys' bags, which you totally hadn't hidden in the radio shack, where the two of you had spent most of your summer sharing the deepest conversations, and longing looks.

You had told your closest friend besides Dylan, Kaitlyn, of this plan, who had figured out your emotions for the guy long before you had.

"Wow, how mushy. Ha, you know, with all the romance around here, at a summer camp no less, if I didn't know any better, I'd say this was a really cliche start to a classic slasher film."

Laughing at the remark, you add on to the funny comment, "Why does it always have to be some crazed gunman? Or a bunch of deranged hunters? Maybe it's really just a monster film, you know with vampires or wendigos or some shit." "Or maybe even Werewolves!" Added Jacob, who had walked up to the two of you with his newly found luggage that he had retrieved from the lodge. Snorting, you reply to Jacob's addition to the now interesting topic,

"Holy hell, that would be so sick! Like, imagine us, fighting to the death with a bunch of lycanthropic beasts, just fighting to make it through the night? Oh! And Nick or like, Ryan would be the total macho badass protags who fight to really protect everyone."

"Woah, what about me!?" Jacob interjected, puffing his chest out a bit. Snorting a little, Kaitlyn butts in, "Uh, you're not exactly what we would call 'macho' bud. If anything you'd probably be trying to protect your little girlfriend all night."

"Uh, actually, I think Emma would be the one protecting him. She's like, incredibly girlboss, if we're being honest here."

The two of you laughed harder, noticing however that Jacob's laugh is a bit quieter, a little defeated even. You and Kaitlyn share a look, questioning while the laughter comes to a stop.

You're first to speak up. "Uh, you know I was kidding, right? I totally think you're pretty strong, like, you can totally throw someone, with how strong your little muscles are, champ!"

He laughs genuinely at the reassuring compliment, looking down. "O-oh no, it's not that. Believe me, Emma is probably the most kickass person here. She'd seriously fuck some werewolves up." You all chuckle a bit.

"It's just that… uh…" trailing off, Kaitlyn is the first to connect the dots. "Oh shit, you guys broke up!" You shoot her a look, and she raised her hands defensively.

"Hey, I'm not the one who Dumped him!" "WOW." Jacob's cheeks darken a bit in embarrassment. "Sorry man." You roll your eyes, suddenly noticing Dylan coming down the stairs to the lodge, a sudden familiar feeling rising in your chest at his smiling face.

You leave your two friends to bicker, while you walk over to him, smile rising with the blush to your ears and face.

"Why hello there, beautiful!" Dylan says in an exaggerated southern accent, bowing slightly, taking your hand in his while bringing your fingers softly to his lips, his adorable pink lips.

You smile, fluttering your lashes while fanning yourself, just as exaggerating as his cheesy gesture.

"My, my, Mr. Lenivy! Ain't you just a Charmer!" You peer up at him through your lashes, watching the familiar tint rise to his cheeks, his expression now bashful yet again from the nickname you've taken to calling him over the summer.

"Awe shucks, a pretty thing like you shore knows how to make a fella blush!" He raised his other hand to his neck, rubbing it the way he always seems to do whenever he gets flustered. Another trait you've grown fond of. "Well it's pretty easy whenever the fella has such a cute blush to look forward to seeing." You say a bit seriously now.

His honey brown eyes drop to the ground between you, suddenly noticing your slightly smaller hand in his large one between the two of you.

His smile drops, his eyes widening as he lets your hand go, ripping it away a bit, now fumbling slightly with his fingers. His entire face now ablaze. "U-uh, well, heh, I- you-" he stumbles on his words, and you sit with patient adoration at his state of panic.

"WELL- I, uh, came to ask if you'd seen my bag? I was looking everywhere in the lodge and I noticed yours wasn't anywhere in sight either, so I was thinking maybe it's somewhere near the cabins-"

Your heart jumping a bit, starting to get excited at the prospect that your plan was finally going to be put in motion. You'd confess to him, and he'd probably say the same. And maybe in your guys' love dazed happy state, you end up perhaps even kissing- Okay, you might have been anticipating this for a while now.

However, that excitement was painfully crushed as you see a golf cart, holding Emma and Abi, with not only their things, but as well as yours and Dylan's.

Your heart felt as if it had dropped to your stomach. The feeling of dread starting to creep into your expression, as you see Kaitlyn's eyes dart to you, as if she anticipated the look in your eyes the second she caught a glimpse of the familiar (f/c) bag in the back of the cart.

"Guess who's ready to finally blow this joint!!!" Emma sang out, pulling the cart to a stop. She hopped out of the cart, grabbing her bag from the back, tossing Dylan his own.

"Oh hey! (Y/n) and I were like, just talking about where these must've been. So I guess they were at the cabins??" Dylan asked Abi, while giving a nod of thanks to Emma, who just shrugged.

Abi walks over with your bag, seeing your wide-eyed expression, and gives a questioning look. "Uh, yeah! It was next to the radio shack-" where you put them "-and we were already grabbing our stuff, so we just kinda figured we'd take these to you, save you the hassle-" ruin your plans "-are you okay, (Y/n)?"

All eyes are on you. Some confused, others worried. You're ears glow a bright red in embarrassment, as you let out a shaky laugh, darting you're head to the ground, focusing on some pebbles to calm the ache in your chest.

"Oh, haha, yeah sorry, just remembered that I uh, left something inside the lodge-"

"Are you sure? Cuz I looked everywhere in there, and trust me, if I found something of yours I would have brought it back to you." Dylan's interjection causes you to cave in a bit more on yourself, turning away from everyone and starting to already walk away.

"I-I just uh, forgot to ask Mr. Hackett something is all." Everyone stares after your slowly disappearing form practically run up the stairs. Hot tears of shock and embarrassment sting your eyes, as you desperately try to blink them back.

You close the door to lodge a bit harshly, scaring Mr. Hackett and Ryan, who were both getting ready to exit the building. Ryan looks in concern as he notices the dampness in your eyes, Mr. Hackett however seems to be preoccupied by other things.

"Woah! Slow down there, kiddo. We've already done final sweeps of everything, and that was it. I'm sorry, but it's no longer up for negotiation, so go on." You immediately wipe your eyes, putting on your brightest smile.

Your voice a bit shaky, as you reply, "Oh! Sorry, I know, I just wanted to use the, uh, bathroom one last time is all."

He stares for a second, considering it, and he just shrugs, albeit a bit frustrated, and says, "Alright, but make it quick. We don't wanna waste anymore daylight." And with that he begins to leave, along with Ryan, who gives you a worried look, before shutting the door.

Letting out a frustrated sigh, you quickly rush to the restroom, cleaning your face with a splash of cold water.

"This is ridiculous." You mutter, adjusting yourself in the mirror, trying to look presentable. "You are going to be seeing him next week anyway! So what if one planned was killed? You still have the rest of the summer! Just. Tell. Him." You stare at yourself, a newfound confidence, reassuring yourself.

And you also remind yourself not to be upset with Abi or Emma. They didn't know of the plan, in fact the only person who even knows of your feelings is Kaitlyn.

And so, with a defeated smile, you give yourself one last look over, and walk out into the lodge.

Stepping outside, the first thing you notice is a frustrated Chris Hackett, more so than usual, telling Ryan to make sure everyone stays inside for the night.

Your heart skips a beat. Are you guys staying one last night? You walk down to join the others, stopping next to Kaitlyn, and watch as Mr. Hackett speeds off. "What the hell happened guys?" You piped up after a couple moments of silence.

Everyone turns to look at you, almost surprised at your sudden presence. "The van's broken down. So we're stuck in this shit hole until the morning." Emma was the one to answer you, looking rather bored.

Kaitlyn shoots you an excited look, gauging your reaction. At the confirmation of your hopeful thoughts, you visibly brighten a bit.

Maybe you'll still have a chance.
