When she was done, Nico took her hand. His eyes were full of concern.

She glanced at Nico, and some sort of silent argument happened between them.

Nico fell backwards out of his chair and banged his head against the sideboard […].

‘Nico!’ Hazel ran to help him.

Again Frank wondered about Nico’s past, but he was afraid to ask. He caught Hazel’s eye.

Go ahead, she seemed to be saying. Nico needs practice talking to people.

Frank wasn’t sure what Nico was thinking. He had a hard time imagining Nico di Angelo acting out of love for anybody, except maybe Hazel.

‘She got a blast of green gas right in the face,’ Nico said miserably. ‘I – I wasn’t fast enough.’

Nico drew his sword. ‘She’s my sister,’ he growled. ‘I don’t know who you are, but if you can cure her you have to, or so help me by the River Styx –’

Also, she couldn’t forget how he [Jason] had been ready to write off her brother, Nico, when they’d learned he was a captive in Rome.

She understood what motivated most of her friends – even her brother, Nico, who wasn’t easy to read.

Nico kissed her cheek, which Piper found surprising. He hardly ever made gestures of affection, even to his sister. He seemed to hate physical contact. Kissing Hazel ... it was almost like he was saying goodbye.

I'm sorry if this is random but imagine if the main pjo characters and some of their parents (whichever ones you like) decided to watch the descendants movies and they get to the third movie. There are lots of jokes about Mal being Nico and Hazel's half sister but they calm down and are just sat enjoying the movie. And then the "do what you gotta do" scene comes on. Nico and hades watching that scene and just cracking up. Nico learning the song and (sometimes when they're in the underworld) just walks around singing it (both parts) and sarcastically quoting the song. And Hazel also likes the song and stuff so for one of her birthdays nico and hades reenact the scene with nico as Mal and hades as himself while Hazel (and Frank, and some of their other friends) watch (and record it). Sorry this might be out of character but it sounded funny in my head.

Edit: I stand by this but I think I also just want the PJO/HOO reacts to descendants movies fic and then have them reacts to Disney descendants movies in general. To clarify, in my brain it would still be just a movie, it wouldn't be something that actually happened in their world. I just want them to have some family and friend bonding and for the demigods to have idk a moment where they're not sad and Jason isn't dead and you know they get to gave the childhood memories they've been missing out on since they realised they were demigods. I just want them to be happy and make fun of each other, and they can still be pissed at their godly parent but for the gods that actually somewhat care about their kids, they can spend some time together where they're not trying to get their kids to do something for them. That would be nice, right? I just want fluff where they just get to be happy.

Is it just me or do you think Nico and Hazel will be fighting about who is better:

Hazel: I think Nico is the best, he is strong, loyal, and has a heart of gold

Nico: No, Hazel is definitely the best, she is powerful, brave, caring, and adorable

And them getting annoyed and scaring anyone around because they are getting scary and neither is backing down and they are probably trying to get others to agree with them but are scared of getting killed by the sibling with the opposing opinion.
