Oddly enough my first anime was assassination classroom. I was looking for basically anything I could watch on Youtube since I didn't really know what was good or what type of thing i liked. And I saw korosensei on tumblr and was just like um what is this? and the two seasons were on youtube. I didn't start watching until I was in college

TBF most shows I watch are gen and don't really have canon ships, just popular fanon ships. But I will read canon ships if the fic sounds interesting

So I haven't watched the AmazingPhil video yet but, guys the psychic link worked today. Like I knew, to the point that, when I was trying to get myself to actually write my dissertation, one of the rewards was I could watch the video when I was done. Admittedly wasn't sure if it would be a gaming video or amazingphil video but I knew. And he uploaded mere minutes before I finished writing my dissertation so I say that's destiny. Anyway I'm gonna watch the video now. If the gaming video is tomorrow I'm 2 for 2.

OK reblogging my own thought because I have a thought. So Death note x bungou stray dogs Lawlight AU where one of them (Light for me) is in the ADA and the other (L for me) is in the Port Mafia. Maybe in this AU Dazai's backstory is he was also a Wammy's kid so, when he got taken into the mafia, L went looking for him and somehow wound up joining the Port Mafia.

And maybe Ranpo met Light and had some kind of we're both smarter than the average person bond and Ranpo recrits Light for the ADA. Dazai leaves the PM and joins ADA. He takes particular delight in tormenting Light.

Also L and Light become rivals and partners, partially orchestrated by Dazai until he meets Atsushi and starts focusing on Akutagwa and Atsushi.

Now I don't know how canon compliant this will be with Bungou Stray Dogs. I will say Light, like Ranpo doesn't have an ability until the Death Note kills. He becomes Kira, L tries to prove he's Kira because he wants an excuse to kill him but this is BSD so rivals = gay because Lawlight would weirdly fit into this universe. Maybe Dazai and Ranpo find out too and start trying to figure out how he's doing it because the idea of four really smart people trying to work against each other. Maybe Dostoevsky gets involved. IDK if the death not would affect Dazai because it's not technically an ability but, to work around this, you could have Dazai Osamu be a fake name and it becomes Light trying to figure out L and Dazai's names while L, Dazai and Ranpo try to figure out how he's doing it.

I don't really know where this goes and don't plan on writing it because i can't write smart people. Kinda don't want anyone to die but I don't think anyone has to in this universe where it's morally grey anyway. Even Ranpo would agree under some conditions. Maybe they all become Kira or maybe a compromise is met. idk

the only romantic ship i really care about in this one is Lawlight but Ranpo x Poe is always cute. Dazai's harder because yes soukouku my beloved, but also there's so many other Dazai ships and I am cursed with being a multishipper. Anyway if anyone writes or reads something similar to this, let me know because now i want to see how this would go

But Ranpo does know about the supernatural and he literally solved a crime where there was no evidence because all evidence was erased by an ability user. He may not know death note specifically, he might suspect an Ability, though. This does also depend on him not introducing himself with his full nema and relies on them not jiving a website. They're fairly public figures and the police know about them so Light could probably find out. But these guys are used to weird books that do impossible things because the book can rewrite reality or something as far as I've gathered. Also would this be considered and ability or more like Lovecraft where its not technically ability so can't be nullified? Where's my death note x Bungou stray dogs crossover where Ranpo and the armed detective agency help L catch Light and, honestly, probably drive everyone crazy.

Also Dan was so right about 14 being the worst age. Like, i know for me personally that was when I was so busy trying to fit in that I kinda stopped being myself and became a person that, looking back, I'm glad i didn't stay that version of myself because it's not who I want to be. Like, I didn't really want to be alone but I didn't particularly like the people around me either. Everyone's hung up on relationships and drama they forget about by the end of the week, so when I was there, not actually liking anyone in my school, it felt like I had to lie to fit in. At around 15 and 16 i kinda stopped caring. I acknowledged that the people i was trying to fit in with weren't people I liked so I stopped caring if they liked me and stopped trying to fit in with them. And this allowed me to become friends with other people, people that I actually liked and didn't have to put up an act around, and that was the most freeing and relieving feeling ever

Just saw someone say that Lucaya don't end up together because their relationship isn't PG and honestly, I wouldn't be surprised. If these two were together, it would be spicier than Disney channel with its one kiss rule could allow. If it was on anywhere else they probably would have been given a real chance to explore their relationship without bringing in the Riley thing. They may not have been endgame but they at least would've explored that without the stupid Maya becoming Riley storyline that I hate more than anything

Also, I like how Maya just very clearly isn't as into Josh after the love triangle. Like, she still kinda likes him (or wants to at least), but she's not as intense about this as before. This could be her growing up but I choose to believe it's because she doesn't actually like him so isn't bothered if they end up together. Also I still find Riley's sudden support for Joshaya weird. Like, before the love triangle, she very clearly wanted Maya to get over her crush on Josh and just didn't want it to happen. But now, because it means Maya's over Lucas, she's all for it. That's another reason I think Maya did this, she's not truly over Lucas, she's doing what she always does, putting Riley before herself. But Josh is a safe way to stop people worrying or making sure she's okay with this. It's not a right now today commitment, it's a maybe someday.

I'm not tagging joshaya because I don't want ship wars and i prefer Lucaya. Also, this isn't hate towards Riley really. I don't actually have a problem with Riley for the most part, I just think she was gven some bad scripts and storylines that kinda contradicted and didn't make a whole lot of sense. She wants Maya to be happy and have hope and fight for the things she likes, to have the family and happiness she deserves, but when she does, it's suddenly a bad thing because "she's becoming Riley".

You know what I've never quite removed from my mind? The last episode of BSD Wan! I'm sorry but Dazias I hope I go out a beautifully and Atsushis I'd rather you don't go at all. Like what? I was not ready for that gut punch and the way he looks at him after, when he doesn't answer, as if he's realising how true that is, as if he's also realising there's a real chance Dazai won't be there. It hit like a punch in the gut and it still sticks in my mind even now months after I watched it and I've only watched it once

Like seriously he looks like he's about to jump him. I feel like I shouldn't be watching, like I've just walked in on something I was never meant to see, like I've interrupted something.

Also, the coat unzipping bit did something odd to me, particularly the way Dan's eyes moved to follow the movement? IDK, my brain demanded i fast forward to see that again and I don't know why.

So watching Dan forces Phil to try soup again because I like just shoving random Dana and phil videos on in the background. Why do I find it so adorable near the end when Dan says he can't clap because he's holding the phone so they just start high fixing each other and saying they're clapping? Also Phil just automatically copying Dan's on handed clap? That's precious and I can't even figure put why
