AITA for being annoyed my client/host threw my only mirror out of a window?

I (22M) am a solicitor and currently staying at a client’s castle in Transylvania. As I was shaving this morning my client (??M) grabbed my mirror, got mad at me for bleeding, called the mirror a “foul bauble of man’s vanity” and threw it out of the castle window. I was annoyed and was going to say something but then I noticed he was making my bed even though he says he has servants(?? I have yet to see one)

Edit: is it strange that I didn’t see his reflection in the mirror??

Kaiju, Harker, Tandi, and I stopped by a local back to school bash to do some demos and education as part of the Chicago Herpetological Society. Everybody had a great time! The kids loves getting to meet the critters and the teachers asked me to come back to do demos to the science classes later in the semester.

So uh... writing's been very much interrupted because...

we got a cat. By accident.

It was Halloween and it was so NICE out and we were just supposed to go for a WALK but instead we found this skinny little rat guy in our driveway:

He was covered in ticks and was absolutely starving. This dude would do anything for shredded chicken (it was all we had unfortunately), including get in a box in a stranger's car.

We took him to a shelter and got him scanned. No chip. I looked at a bunch of lost cat posts online and didn't see any matching his description, and the shelters were brimming with so many cats that a lot of them weren't accepting any more.

I couldn't just kick him back out into the woods, so... we took him to a vet and got him dewormed, got the ticks pulled off him, pumped him full of fluids, gave him flea medication, shaved the mats out of his fur, blood tested him, and scheduled an appointment to get him neutered.

Everyone meet Harker, our little vampire hunter.

That's him when he's making his "I'm baby :3" face. I have waaayyy more pics of him going 😠 but it's because scowling seems to be his natural state.

He's only six pounds 🥺

He seems to be settling down pretty well. He doesn't like being reached for or picked up, but he does like bumping his head into your hand. He recently got up enough energy to play with toys. He's the most vocal cat I've ever encountered, with a soft raspy meow. The only thing is that he tries to steal food because he was a stray :( So we're training him out of that. The most important thing is that he and my partner's dog get along well.

As much as I love the idea of Mina getting a new love interest in Jekyll (or even to those who ship her and Tom) ....

I don't think she would ever MARRY one of them, I think she would admit to loving and caring for them as she did Jonathan and would care for them through illness or trials like she did him, but she would be unable to call another man her husband, she was only Jonathan's bride.

Capping off our main cast is the Society’s director himself, Mr. Quincy Harker!

Design Notes for Quincy:

- Credit to Harker’s final design goes to the lovely @translucent_ego

- Harker is rather tall for his time, standing at 5’11” (180cm). He is quite strong and has a large, looming presence when he enters a room.

- True to his namesake, Quincy has an admiration for American Cowboys that is reflected in his design. Being raised on the stories of his parents and their misadventures left him with an enormous respect for both them and their work.

- Quincy is a member of the Catholic Church. His belt features the Omega symbol (‘the end of things’) and he can also be seen wearing his rosary.

- Quincy’s promotion to director marked the beginning of a new generation of monster hunters following the retirement of his parents and the other founding members. Quincy does not take this task lightly and can often be seen toiling at his desk late into the night.

- Harker’s gorget (neck armor) is specially designed to cover his entire neck and jugular area. (The engraved crosses are also designed to resemble fangs). This is a special piece of armor that is worn by all of the leading figures of the Society.

- While he may not be on the field as often as he would like after his promotion to director, Harker’s armor is a special form of brigandine (metal plating covered in leather/fabric) that is designed for close, melee-style combat with SNs.

- Harker’s primary weapons are his kukri and Bowie knife (the same weapons used to slay Dracula), followed by his revolver for long-distance attacks.
