— At first, Gwen didn’t think that she had a crush on you. She denied it up and down even though it was abundantly obvious y’all had chemistry.

— She was Spider-Woman! She didn’t have time for relationships and all the unnecessary parts of life.

— It was frustrated Gwen to hell and back just trying to ignore her feelings. She would avoid you at school, take extra long patrols, anything to get you off her mind.

— Until you started noticing how she had been avoiding you. I don’t think Gwen is the best at processing her emotions and when you confront her about it she sort of breaks down in a way. She apologizes for ignoring you then quickly decides to just give up the ghost and confess.

— Poor Gwen is standing there, smiling awkwardly at you and convincing herself you are absolutely going to reject her. Until you don’t and then she nearly has a heart attack on the spot.

— Gwen definitely gets better at being a girlfriend as time progresses. She always leaves little notes for you, texts you whenever she can, and bring you your favorite snacks. Gwen’s love language is definitely Acts of Service and Quality Time.

— You’re craving ice cream at 12 o’clock at night? Good because she is to and she’s already out the door to the nearest gas station.

— However, one thorn in the relationship is the fact that she’s Spider-Woman. It gets harder to make excuses for why she’s covered in bruises and limping all the time. Maybe she should tell you? But what if you leave her or worse hate her for keeping such a big secret !? Gwen is definitely overthinking everything.

— Her secret is revealed one day when you unexpectedly come over to her apartment one day just as she’s crawling into the window in costume. Y’all have a little staring contest before she has to take off the mask because why the hell would Spider-Woman be crawling in your girlfriend’s window at 10 O’clock at night?

— Gwen definitely cries. Apologizing profusely and begging you not to tell her dad about any of this. Instead, you just hug her and she realizes that you aren’t mad at her. She answers any questions you have though is somewhat hesitant since she doesn’t want you getting dragged into any of it. Her first priority is making sure you are safe and no one finds out you’re Spider-Woman’s S/O.

— She takes you to your place of choice as an apology just to be extra EXTRA sure you aren’t mad at her.

— You patch up Gwen’s wounds all the time. Few words are spoke once the med kit comes out and she is grateful to have someone who is willing to deal with her crimefighting BS. Being a superhero can be super depressing and you are always there to be a shoulder for her to lean on.

— On a slightly more happy note, Gwen would love to teach you how to play the drums! It’s pretty adorable to see her get so excited about something she’s passionate about.

— Gwen always tries to get you something for your birthday. She’ll save up months in advance so she can get the perfect gift and take mental notes of what you like. She tried to make a cake one year .. that didn’t turn out well so she just bought one instead.

— She’ll let you borrow her clothes if you want and won’t say anything if it never appears in her closet again.

— I do think her dad would be supportive of the relationship. It’s a little awkward the first time y’all have dinner together, but George Stacy is fairly chill once you get to know him. This man makes shitty dad jokes though and tells embarrassing childhood stories about Gwen to you.

— SO many pictures of you. Not even just on her phone but also hung up around her room. It’s kind of cute how flustered she gets when you point out her phone wallpaper of y’all.

— Late night talks on rooftops. Gwen finds being outside relaxing and she’ll make a whole set up so you two can stargaze.

— Called you “ Babygirl “ as a joke once now it’s a running gag.

— She finds cursed images / 3 AM humor to be the absolute peak of comedy and sends the dumbest shit to you.

— She wanted to show off her webs to you once then proceeded to accidentally get your foot stuck to a wall and THEN got herself stuck trying to help.

— Movies dates are common and she’ll purposely pick out the worst ones so she can give commentary. Twilight was an absolute rollercoaster for her.

— Builds a cute little house in Minecraft for y’all to live in please just ignore the fact it has no roof and the floors are made of dirt.

— And the best girlfriend of the year award goes to Gwen Stacy :)

You Will Never Be Good Enough

so this short story was a Christmas collab from my Discord buddy

summary:Miguel and new baby Gabriella mostly focusing on how he feels about fatherhood and how much he loves her but maybe also some Conchata angst

You will never be good enough

Miguel can’t believe it. He is a father now. It had been almost a year since He and Xina got back together trying to rekindle their love for each other. At the same time, balancing work and being Spider-man. When Xina broke the news that she was pregnant, Miguel was shocked, Happy, scared, and nervous at the same time.

You’ll be like him

He always wanted a family of his own, but him being a half-spider and his family track record… He doesn’t know he can do it. He made sure that Xina was taken care of as the months went by and her belly got bigger. Both of them were scared that the ultrasound would show a baby with 8 arms or a spider chelicerae.

You're a mistake

When the baby was born it was the best day of Miguel and Xina’s lives. It was a baby girl that they decided to name Gabriella. It was tough for them at first, taking care of a baby wasn’t easy. So far Gabriella wasn’t showing any sign of the spider's powers thankfully. And to be honest, Miguel was really glad, wanting her to be a normal child and never have to deal with the Spider-man job.

Why bother? you’re going to fail

Miguel made sure he did all the things that he wasn’t able to do when he was a child; Give her birthday parties. Take her to amusement parks. Read her bedtime story every night—everything he can while juggling with a job and being Spiderman.

Miguel tries his best for his daughter, but sometimes he doesn’t feel like he is. He’s afraid that something bad will happen. He is a Spider-Man, and nothing goes your way when you Spider-Man. He lost so many people that he cares about for being Spider-Man. Dana, his brother, and his…mother.

You’ll never change

One few things Miguel regretted in life, was that he wasn’t on better terms with his mother before she died. He wanted her so badly, for her to love him, to see past that he wasn’t like him . He wasn’t Tylor Stone, he was Miguel O’Hara. Conchata’s son. But she never truly saw past that, reminding herself and him every day. He remembers one bad night in particular, his thought-to-be-real dad George O’Hara. Made her so mad that she drank. then drunk she came into his room and talked to him. She thought he was asleep, but he wasn’t.

“You were my biggest mistake. I hope you know that. That man used me and then threw me away. Only to leave me with you. Every time I look at you…all I see is him. Why did he curse me with you?”

Miguel never forgot that night. He truly never looked at his mother the same way. He tries to provide him with nothing like his father. He has a better job, has a wife, and treats his family ten times better than his dad ever could. But looking back at it, he was similar to Tyler as much as he hates to admit it. Like he cheated on Xina with Dana and the fact she took him back was a miracle. He became the CEO of Alchemax but changed their ways for the better. And now he has a child and he was going to protect Gabriella and his wife, Xina, with his life. He was never going to let anything happen to them.

Gabriella was the next best thing that happened to him. She has reddish-brown eyes. Not too red so she can blend in well. He checks every day to see if she gains any of his powers. She watches her get bigger, play with her, feed her, and take her to places.

You’ll never be good enough

“Do you think I’m a good father?”

As she puts Gabriella to bed, Xina is taken aback by Miguel's words. She knows Miguel didn’t have a good family life, and that he’s trying everything in his power not to end up like his dads and mom.

“Why would you say that?”

“ I feel like everything I do isn’t enough. I failed so many times and I am afraid if I can’t do this-”

Xina hugs him, quieting the worries he has, knowing the inner turmoil he has.

“Miggy, I know you’re scared about being a father. And I know you're really scared of becoming like your parents. But…” Xina grabs him by the face to make Miguel look directly into his beautiful sunset-red eyes. They were different colors when they first met, but they were still the same eyes she had grown to love. But here was so much sadness and self-loathing in them too

“You listen to me, you are not George. You are not Conchata. And you are not Tyler. You are Miguel, the man I fell in love with and the man who’s going to give our daughter the best life that either had.” Xina then pulls him in to kiss and smile at him as she rubs his face.

“We will give her the best life we can give her.”

Miguel holds her hand not wanting to let go of it. Xina was always the type to speak her mind and give him the words to do more. He smiles at her, and then both look at Gabrella’s room, seeing their daughter sleeping peacefully, wanting her to have the best life.

Lyla popped up between them.

“Hey boss, there's trouble in downtown. I think they can use Spider-man.” Lyla said with a smirk. Miguel sighed knowing his work as Spider-man had never been done. He turns on his outfit before his masked form, he kisses Xina then turns toward the window and jumps out to swing to the danger.

You’ll never be good enough! Don’t you understand?

“I might not be good enough, but I sure as hell I can shocking try. For her. For them.”

"Umm, Hiromi-san, are you sure it's fine?" Keiwa questioned unsure whether his and his companion's presence were welcome.

"Don't sweat it, Keiwa." Hiromi assured. "Despite what happened when you met Daiji and the others, you're always welcome to train here at Blue Bird.

"Relax, Keiwa." Neon grinned beside her companion. "Sakura's assured me that it's fine to be here, so we're here."

"But still..." The man trailed off. "It feels like we're..."

"It's fine Keiwa-san." Sakura went inside the room, cutting his train of thought off. "Dai-chan owns Blue Bird and what he says goes."

Sakura faced Hiromi.

"Sorry I'm late, Hiromi, my classmates wanted to do something before we go home."

"It's okay, Sakura, since you're here, let's get started?"

[Fight: A 2v2 fight between Giant Spider Demons and Invincible Jeanne vs. Bujin Sword Tycoon and Fantasy Boost Na-go.]

"Lovekov! You were great!" Sakura praised a giant plush-like Snake figure as she hugged her "

"E-eeh? A tsuchinoko?!" Keiwa and Neon exclaimed in unison.

"Kov? Kov! I'm not a Tsuchinoko!" Lovekov angrily glared at the duo as she shook.

"Lovekov is my inner demon." Sakura explained.

"Inner demon?"

"It's basically a manifestation of your foremost desire, it could be the opposite of it or otherwise."

"Lovekov here is a manifestation of my weakness as my desire was to become so strong."

"That's why you don't seem winded whenever our attacks landed!" Keiwa exclaimed, recalling the sparring match they just had.

"That man over there also has an inner demon within himself!" Another man, clad in black, intruded on the conversation and walked casually into the training area.

"Me?"

"Everyone has an inner demon, Kage-chan!' Sakura pointed out. "You know that."

"Oh, but his has manifested." Kagerou smirked.

"Oi, Hiromi could he use the Revice Driver so that we could talk to his inner demon?"

"Let's not be hasty," Hiromi implored everyone. "Based on Keiwa-kun's reaction, he hasn't had contact with his inner demon, it stands to reason that we might just summon a Gifterian if we let him equip the Revice driver."

"Wait, I thought the stamps were only that have that ability?"

"It is something George has theorized one time."

"Let me guess, he told you that after nii-san beat the crap out of him?"

"Regardless, we can't risk summoning another Gifterian."

"They'd be easy, with everyone present."

"Who're tired from the sparring session we just had." Hiromi argued.

"You're no fun." Kagerou pouted before retreating back into his host's psyche.

"Don't mind Kagerou, Keiwa, he's just incredibly curious about your inner demon ever since we encountered it." Daiji shook his head as his clothes had changed from all black to Blue Bird's uniform.

"Wait, you know?"

"Of course? He did control my body when he went to take a look at your psyche." Daiji excplained. "So I take the sparring session went well?"

"They're crazy powerful, Dai-chan!" Sakura exclaimed. "Neon-chan, so long as she's aware of the incoming attack, she can't be hit!"

"And Keiwa's good with his sword attacks, even teleported one time." Hiromi stated their assessment.

"Well, Hiromi-san's hits are so powerful!"

"That and Sakura isn't even fazed whenever an attack hits her." Neon interjected.

"Well, if that's all, Hana's waiting for me, bye everyone."

"Go ahead and take her out to dinner!"

"Dai-chan!"

"Keiwa, Neon, you guys can stay the night, there's a shower room on the right as soon as you exit."

"But..."

"I insist, you guys being here gives us an opportunity to train for different types of opponents." Daiji smiled. "It gives an idea how to handle enemies who would have the same abilities as you guys do."

"Think of it your bonus on top of the compensation that you'd be getting."

"Bu-"

"No buts."

"Come on, Keiwa, let's go take a shower!"

Neon dragged Keiwa out of the training area.

Daiji and Hiromi waited for Keiwa and Neon to be out of the room before they both faced each other.

"You were hoping to recruit anyone from the Desire Grand Prix to be a part of Blue Bird, weren't you?" Hiromi stated.

"Was I that obvious?" Daiji questionned.

"It was obvious only to me, you were subtle enough."

"Thanks to me." Kagerou interjected then retreated back to Daiji's psyche before any response could be uttered.

"That Kagerou." Daiji shook his head, entirely used to Kagerou's antics.

"So what's next on the agenda, Mr. Big shot." Hiromi teased his former subordinate, who now ranked above him.

"This." Daiji grinned before planting a soft kiss on Hiromi's lips.

"We should go to our quarters lest we get walked in."

"That's a good idea." Daiji nodded. "You must be so tired, Hiromi, let me carry you to our room."

Hiromi soon found himself in Daiji's arms as he was carried to the room that they share within the establishment.

My We Happy Few Bobby OC.

Lionel F. Edwards

(I'll add more to this periodically.)

(If I could draw I would draw him, but I can't so we'll just use this picture, and imagine the changes I've made lmao.)

Notable features - Lionel has sandy blond hair, which is a little longer than most of his co-workers, but he keeps it swept back and proper. His right eye is a crystal blue, while his left eye is a honey brown. Under his happy mask he hides several scars, which he obtained from a downer some time ago. He has several other scars littering his body, but the worse he has, aside from his face, is on his ribs, and he can't remember how he got them. For someone that spends so much time outside Lionel is pretty pale. His ears are pierced, and he has no idea when it happened, or who might have done it, and no one seems to even notice the silver studs in his ears.

Personality - He's surprisingly shy, at least when he is around someone he either finds attractive, or just straight intimidating. Super sweet with the ones he loves. Will be a teddy bear and total cuddle bug with his SO. He's honestly nicer than most other bobby's. Freak in the sheets, gentleman in the streets! Loves autumn and winter like so much. He just loves the cold because of how high his body temperature always runs. Man's a walking furnace, like seriously. Loyal AF, he'd do anything and I mean anything for his SO. A bit insecure about his scars, and even his height, so he relishes in any reassurance his SO gives him. Loves playfully spooking his SO, but doesn't startle very easily himself.

Age - 32 his birthday is December 6th.

Height - He's a tall man, even compared to his co-workers. Standing at a staggering 7'3". (The bobby's and doctors are very tall, some people have guessed that they are 7'0" or taller.)

Build - Broad shoulders, bit lanky like most of the other bobby's, but Lionel is also pretty strong, not quite shredded mind you, but still surprisingly muscled. Heavier than he looks as well.

Scent - He smells of vanilla, honey, and his natural manly musk, with earthy and cherry undertones.

Love interest - (Y/n) (Y/l/n).

Interests - Joy, music, (Y/n), art, uncle Jacks shows, mystery books, photography.

Dislikes - Downers, talk of plague, yams, and vanilla Joy because it leaves a funny aftertaste in his mouth.

Weaknesses - Fresh pie, grapefruit juice, and of course (Y/n).

Sexual interests - Breeding kink, size kink (and no, I'm not talking about him being tall.), food play, light bondage, biting, praise, body warship, public sex, he's naturally dominate, but he kinda really loves when (Y/n) takes control.

District - St. Georges Holm.

Favorite flavor Joy - Chocolate was always his favorite, but he's grown a liking for the new coconut flavor Joy.

Hobbies - Painting/drawing, reading, and spending as much free time as he can with (Y/n), and taking pictures with his Polaroid, especially pictures of (Y/n). (Man's madly in love y'all)

Friends - Really only friends with (Y/n), and a co-worker named Frank. (However Franks been on holiday for some time now.)

Family - Can't honestly remember any. Maybe he had a sister? Or a brother perhaps?

Favorite color - Purple is his all time favorite, but he also loves bright orange, and sea green.

Favorite foods - Lionel is a simple man, so a V-meat sandwich, with a side of blue currant berries is divine in his book. Also loves dipping apple slices in honey. And coffee yogurt, he's not really supposed to have it, because it messes with his belly some, but he loves it regardless and will suffer the rumblies for it.

Fears - Spiders, puppets, and loosing (Y/n).

Miscellaneous notes - His hands are huge, soft and littered with small scars. He has freckles that dust his shoulders. His right ear rings almost constantly, after the fight with the downer that he got his facial scars from. His hands shake a little, but they always still the moment he picks up a brush or pen. The F in his name stands for Francis, and he hates the name, so much so he was even reluctant to tell (Y/n) what his middle name is. Even with Joy Lionel suffers from nightmares, he suppresses them, but with (Y/n) by his side, his nightmares don't plague his mind. He loves loves, loves playing with (Y/n)s hair.

Not sure if this is what you wanted but I thought it was cute!

Summary: Your siblings read a letter sent from your boyfriend, Harry, and now they can't look at him the same way again. No reader pronouns mentioned so everyone can read this!! Second person p.o.v

Harry looked at you, confused, when no one came forward to give him a hug. Not even a smile was sent his way. You, out of your siblings' ray of vision, gave Harry wide eyes with a shake of your head, and slowly, his face turned into one of realisation.

Fred stepped forward, towering over Harry, his arms crossed over his chest. "Hi?" Shyly whispered Harry, looking up to make eye contact with your most protecting brother. "No. Not hi." They held eye contact for a moment longer before the sound of a stifled laughed was heard. Everyone turned to look at Ginny, who was now leaning on an armchair, pointing a finger at Fred and dying in silent fits of laughter.

"No Ginny! This isn't what we said would happen! You just ruined our entire plan!" He whined, turning away from Harry, then back towards him again. George approached the pair, and shook his head at your quite intimidated boyfriend. "I cannot believe you are dating our sibling." He plainly stated, wrapping an arm around Harry's shoulders. "Sit."

He sat Harry down on the armchair Ginny had previously occupied. Ron ran from downstairs, yelling "Harry! Why didn't you tell me he was here?" He went over to give him a hug, but Fred, ever the one for dramatics, put an arm out to stop him. "Wh-" " Y/N and Harry have been together for half a year." George's simple words silenced him.

"Wha-Wait! You-I'm sorry?" Ron turned to look at the twins before averting his attention back to Harry. 'They didn't know?' he mouthed towards him. Harry shrugged, looking up at the three brothers. "Oh my Godric. How dare you date my twin and not make me aware of doing such thing?" Ron spoke with a monotone voice, his tone not convincing anyone in the room.

"You knew?" Fred and George screamed. "You didn't?" And what followed was a mush of words that made zero sense to you whatsoever. As the three were arguing, Harry looked over to you, grinning. He got out of the armchair and walked over to you. You ran over to him, to meet him half-way in a much-needed hug. "Hey." "Hi." You looked at him for a moment, arms still wrapped over his shoulders and smiled, before pressing your lips to his in a short kiss. "Happy birthday, by the way." He chuckled, shaking his head as Ron started yelling about a spider and the clatter that followed.

What if “No Way Home” had more “visitors” ?

So recently on my birthday, I went and watched No Way Home: More Fun Stuff.

Anyways, it got me to remember a post I wanted to write but never got around too when No Way Home was first released. Since I had the free time to get to that, I thought I’d write them down here.

As the title says, these would be my ideas for a No Way Home rewrite that involved more visitors. I’d write the fic myself, but I’m busy with multiple other WIP’s

Note: I bring up a Marvel/DC Crossover AU also shelved. The AU itself has nothing to do with these rewrites, but there was still a few things I thought was worth mentioning. I wrote one post about it here - though it’s a little out of date.

1. First things first; a commonality with this is that some characters almost project their feelings and relationships towards others multiversal counterparts. What I mean is, I found it a little odd that no one points out how the multiversal visitors knew one another's counterparts.

Like imagine if we got Raimiverse!Norman learning that there was an Oscorp in the Webbverse; maybe he'd ask about it to Connors and Dillon, and would learn from Connors about how Webbverse!Norman is the mastermind behind this conspiracy, but they both find Raimiverse!Norman to be a “step up” from the Norman they knew.

When the Goblin gets Connors and Dillon on his side, he'd say something along the lines of "You two already work for me, if you think about it. Consider this a promotion!"

Meanwhile, Raimiverse!Octavious was acquainted with his universes Curt Connors', and he'd be a little taken aback by seeing Webbverse!Connors, how he works for Oscorp, how he became the Lizard. Connors would ask Octavious if his universes counterpart did the same; as far as Octavious knows, his world's Connors is still leading a successful career as a University Professor, even mentions Martha and Billy, which gets to Webbverse!Connors a little.

Later, we have a moment where it dawns on Toby's Peter that he's going up against an alternate version of one of his teachers. At the same time it dawns on Andrew's Peter that he's going up against an alternate version of the man who is directly or indirectly responsible for all the misery and mayhem in his life.

And finally, there's a bit where Flint Marko asks MCU!Peter a question, bringing up the uncomfortable subject of Uncle Ben. Marko remorsefully tells May and Peter that he killed Ben Parker in his universe. Peter admits that his Uncle Ben died when he was a younger kid, back in the MCU's 2007. "By this burglar" he doesn't remember. All Peter knows is that the burglar was arrested shortly after the fact. Marko apologizes, to which Peter replies "Don't worry. It's not your fault."

2. So Strange's spell pulls in people who knew Peter Parker was Spider-Man and/or died, right ? Well what if it didn't just extend to villains. Two people I'd like to see get pulled into the MCU would be TASM's George and Gwen Stacy. And Strange initially overlooks them in his search for "visitors" because they're too mundane.

I'm just picturing this sequence where the Stacey's goes looking for their family in the MCU, same as Raimiverse!Norman. George goes to the NYPD precinct, where he is briefly arrested for identity theft of MCU's George, and impersonating a dead officer. It's soon discovered that the MCU's version of George Stacy was a small-time cop, who was killed along with the rest of his family during a home invasion, in the late 2000's (shortly before the events of Iron Man).

When MCU!Peter meets Webbverse!Gwen and learns of George, he uses his pull with Happy to bail him out. Stacey's killer is presumed to be Mac Gargan after getting out on bail when MCU!George arrested him. But nothing concrete connects them - It's implied that cops on Gargan's payroll looked the other way and covered everything up - really shaking George's perception of "good cops" from his precinct. When George is up to speed on this multiverse mess, he reunites with his Gwen. Gwen, being Gwen, opts to help Peter, Michelle and Ned find and capture the other villains. You'd almost think there'd be a forced or awkward love triangle with Gwen and Michelle, but no they're pretty chill. Though Gwen barely keeps herself back from projecting her feelings for her Peter onto MCU!Peter.

Furthermore, when Gwen reunites with her dad, she talks about her life after he passed, but keeps her continued relationship with her Peter a secret, especially when it led to her death. When George inevitably finds out about it, he almost loses it and almost takes it out on MCU!Peter before calming himself from it.

My one issue is having Gwen (or George) be one of the visitors might nullify their tragedy. Especially if Andrew's Peter reunites with Gwen; suddenly his saving MJ loses its impact.

...which is why I had another idea for Gwen, but that's for later.

3. Venom, being involved in the plot.

Now I get it, the Venom tease was the joke, but if they were to utilize this ?

What if two Eddie Brock's were brought into the MCU ? Because Spider-Man 3 has its Eddie Brock learning about Spider-Man's identity and he dies fighting him. So we got Tom Hardy's Eddie and Venom, as well as Topher Grace's loose in the MCU. Both reaching out to Peter Parker. To differentiate the two, Grace's Eddie is nicknamed "Junior", since he always introduced himself as "Eddie Brock Junior".

While Hardy's Venom is still an Anti Hero, and his Eddie is considerably more friendly and empathetic towards Peter ? Grace's Eddie and Venom still play the villain role, and are portrayed as the only ones besides the Goblin who are completely irredeemable; being Kasady/Carnage in all but name.

This way, we get a "Spider-Man + Venom Teamup", and a "Spiderman vs Venom" story at the same time; we get Grace's Venom as a better shot at being a villain; and we get "Chad and Virgin" comparisons between the two, as a semi-Take That to Ramiverse's take on the character.

We'd also get expanded on the symbiote's Multiversal Hive Mind. While Grace and Hardy's symbiote are not the same entity, they still have linked minds. The reason Hardy's Venom is fixated on Peter Parker ? He subconsciously remembers the events of Spider-Man 3, especially how Toby's Peter rejected and killed his alternate self. He acts like a "bitter ex" about it, but begrudgingly agrees to help Holland's Peter. It's also jokingly suggested that much of Hardy!Venom's personality was subconsciously influenced by "Emo Peter".

Meanwhile, Raimiverse!Eddie and Venom are the absolute kings of "projecting their feelings onto multiversal counterparts". He simply wants to kill MCU!Peter, because he's a Peter Parker. If Webbverse!Gwen Stacy is part of the story, he'd project his previous feelings and relationship with Raimiverse!Gwen onto her; and yes, it would be played as him being a creepy incel. By contrast, Hardy's Eddie and Venom are genuinely gentlemanly and affable towards Gwen (more on that later).

At one point, Raimiverse!Venom would seek out and try to kill MCU!Jameson on a live broadcast, out of the other Jameson firing him. Jameson would be saved by Hardy!Venom and Spider-Man working together. After which, Hardy's Eddie/Venom angrily reprimands and intimidates Jameson for doxing a kid, and his lack of integrity as a journalist, basically bullying Jameson into meekly apologizing on a broadcast.

Later, Hardy's Eddie takes Peter out for drinks (Peter: "I'm not twenty one." Venom: "Fine! You get nothing!"). We find out the SSU and the Webbverse are one and the same. Hardy's Eddie was hired by his world's Daily Bugle to dig up what he can on his world's Spider-Man. When he found out his identity, it was between the events of TASM 1 and 2, when Andrew's Peter was still seventeen. He kept Peter's identity a secret out of integrity.

It also turns out Hardy's Eddie and Andrew's Peter (and Emma's Gwen) are casual acquaintances; in fact, they introduced Eddie and Anne. Venom feels a little jilted that Eddie kept this a secret from him, but gives it a pass because of the Anne thing.

Note: So about that DC/Marvel AU ? It's an MCU, Arrowverse, and DCEU world merger.

In this AU, a very similar scene occurs with Arrowverse!Kara doing the same in support of Peter; but as much as I love Kara (and Lena) being Mama Bears, it'd be more in character for Venom to pull this. Or hell, why not just have Eddie/Venom and Kara both have at it with Jameson.

4. This one's more for a joke.

I thought if Charlie Cox's Matt Murdock is in a movie where the multiverse is a thing - a movie that features Jon Faverau, no less ? - Why not Shout Out to 2003's Daredevil ?

Toby's Peter spends a few days going around the MCU, looking into things. He finds out about Nelson and Murdock Law Office, and their handling of the Mysterio case, and investigates them. Raimiverse!Peter has a quick encounter with Happy at these offices, but briefly mistakes him for Foggy (within earshot Henson's Foggy), before correcting himself.

The implication being that Daredevil 2003 is set in the Raimiverse, and that Toby's Peter is at least familiar with Affleck's Matt, and Faverau's Foggy. For those who don't know, there was a (non canon) animated series based off the Raimi films, in which Michael Clarke Duncan reprises his role as Wilson Fisk.

Note: I also had a similar joke for the Marvel/DC crossover AU.

It would turn out members of Wayne Industries were involved in the Mysterio conspiracy (Wayne Industries often former Stark employee, and used the company's money and resources as part of the scheme). Affleck's Bruce Wayne, as well as Happy, end up attending a meeting with Charlie's Matt and Elden's Foggy to discuss this matter.

The joke was nothing more than "Hey, it's the old Matt and Foggy in the same room as the new ones!" 5. Harry Osborn.

When Norman is first wandering the MCU’s New York, he hears of a "Harry Osborn" being arrested for assaulting a security guard at the MCU’s Ravencroft. Norman rushes to the police station, introducing himself as Harry's father...only to find out that it's Dane DeHaan’s Harry, much to Norman’s confusion.

DeHaan's Harry thinks Dafoe's Norman is some crazy homeless guy, and pushes him away. Harry ends up in jail since neither he nor Norman have the money to bail him out, but Peter and Happy use their pull to get Harry bailed out. Harry soon learns of the multiverse, that Raimiverse!Norman is an alternate version of his father, and that Raimiverse!Norman and Harry had a considerably more loving relationship.

Norman learns from Marko what his Harry was up to, and is horrified to hear of his death. He also learns of the Oscorp conspiracy of the Webbverse from Max, Connors, and Harry. All the while, the Green Goblin is pleased to hear that his Webbverse counterpart had an "empire" at his fingertips, and considers the Webbverse the next world to conquer after the MCU.

While Peter is working on trying to cure the villains, Norman makes an attempt to connect with Harry. Harry's a little taken aback because his father had little care for him, and it's clear that Norman is kind of projecting the other Harry onto him. It doesn't work as well as Norman hoped, especially when Harry brings up the ruthless streak he took before becoming his worlds Goblin, and even the murder of Gwen Stacy - all without the split personality of the Goblin.

Norman is also put off to learn that this Harry was continuing his work from jail, and that he has no remorse for killing Gwen. The Green Goblin is pleased to hear that, thinking Webbverse!Harry makes for a worthy successor than his Harry. The Goblin slips through the cracks here and there and encourages Harry's ruthless streak, and uses "Norman" to give Harry validation that he's been seeking. They secretly work together to modify the Goblin serum with the spider venom in Harry's blood, which "Norman" takes for enhancements.

The Goblin would then leave Harry to die in the destruction of Happy's apartment; "Sorry kid. Gods don't need heirs." Harry would be rescued from the wreckage and begrudgingly conscripted into working on cures with the three Peter's; Andrew's Peter especially holding animosity towards him. Though the blow is lessened if he finds out Gwen was pulled into the MCU as well.

The part where I get iffy on if Franco's Harry should also be pulled into the MCU ? He knows Peter's identity and he died at the end of Spider-Man 3. And while I’d like to see Franco's and DeHaan's Harrys play off each other...at the same time I worry it nullifies Franco's send off in Spider-Man 3. I genuinely thought it was a decent end to his arc. And Norman returning to a world where his son has been dead for years adds to the tragedy of his character.

Plus, what would Franco's Harry do that he already hasn't done in Spider-Man 3 ? Show up in the third act and help fight the other villains ? It'd be too redundant.

As for DeHaan's Harry ? He's get's the more bitter and tragic send off. He's pulled back into his universe, he's cured of his disease, but he's not really redeemed. But just when he thought he found a version of his father who cared about him, he's manipulated again, and is set to go back to jail, with nothing else to do but continue Oscorp's work from behind the bars. And it's not like he and Andrew's Peter reconcile; again, nothing short of Gwen being in the story would soften the blow.

He's "fixed"...but he's still broken. 6. Alternate Gwen Stacey idea.

So one idea I had was Gwen being present throughout NWH, and as much as I like the idea of Gwen joining MCU!Peter, MJ and Ned...I'd feel it's nullify the impact her death still has on Andrew's Peter, and his saving MJ would be less of redeeming a past failure.

With that said, I had another idea involving Gwen, that could even work for a No Way Home sequel.

When the fabric of the multiverse begins to rip open, Strange does his memory wipe and closes off the multiverse, one straggler falls through. That would be Gwen, and since she's not from the MCU, the memory wipe has no effect on her. Since Gwen was one person, and considerably mundane, it was easy for Strange to overlook her.

Initially displaced and confused, Gwen soon learns that it's 2023/4 in this world, and that superheroes, aliens and magic are common. To find her footing in this world, Gwen applies to Stark Industries, quickly getting into the same position she was at Oscorp, while looking into the Stacey family in the MCU. The same backstory is used; MCU!George Stacey was a small-time cop, who arrested Mac Gargan before he was released on parole; shortly after, the whole Stacey family was killed in a home invasion.

Furthermore, Gwen learns of this worlds Spider-Man's previous ties to The Avengers, and the Mysterio controversy; while no one remembers Peter himself, Mysterio's attempt to frame Spider-Man otherwise went the same; and as of the memory wipe, seemingly the only Avengers who knew Spider-Man's identity are either dead, or didn't interact with him long enough to remember him anyways.

This would include Michelle and Ned, who have memories of Spider-Man, but the memories of Peter are blank, leaving gaps in their memory the more they think about it.

Gwen eventually tracks down and reaches out to MCU's Peter. Peter's very reluctant to let her in, but he feels he needs someone to show he's not alone, though Gwen tells Peter she intends to return to her home. Peter is further reluctant considering that tampering with the multiverse got him into this mess in the first place.

Even so, Gwen learns of Peter's old life and takes it upon herself to try to get it back on track, while trying to find her own way home. She tries to reintroduce Peter with Ned and MJ, despite Peter's resistance and reluctance.

Would Gwen and MCU!Peter hook up ? Maybe ? It's a dynamic I wouldn't mind seeing, but I think the actual relationship would have an underlying toxicity.

Peter accepts Gwen's company, but it's clear he's using her as an emotional crutch - and is still holding a torch for MJ - while Gwen is subconsciously projecting her relationship with her Peter onto his MCU counterpart. Not helping in that in her attempts to reconnect Peter with his old life, Gwen genuinely befriends Michelle and starts to feel guilty over this relationship; especially since she’s still trying to return home with Andrew’s Peter still out there..

I would think Gwen's arc would ultimately end with her returning to her world, but not before she gets Spider powers of her own. How ? I haven't thought through. One idea I had was that the memory spell is reversed just enough to punch a small hole into the multiverse, allowing her to slip through. This would lead to a Spider-Gwen solo film set in the SSU.

However, this rip in the multiverse leads to one universe bleeding into another; revealing the X-Men film series to be an adjacent universe; leading to a new big crossover event, and the MCU debuted of-

Though if I’m being realistic ? I’m betting that No Way Home’s ending alone is what brings Wade to the MCU, but that’s a whole other post.

Back to the Marvel/DC crossover AU: I’ve also been wanting to do a post No Way Home story that features Peter ending up in Gotham (Post Zack Snyder’s Justice League and Post Bird’s of Prey).

It would have involved Bruce looking into Mysterio conspiracy further, due to former Wayne employees being involved. He ends up investigating Spider-Man for his supposed involvement, while avoiding his mistakes in Batman V. Superman, while Peter continuously rejects Batman’s help as he’s still aiming for independence (he’s also aware of Batman’s rep from BVS).

I also never could decide on a villain.

Four years had passed since you left New York to study in London. Your parents went to visit you every two months, but it wasn't the same. You missed your home, the rest of your family, your friends. England was pretty different from the USA in many aspects, so you couldn't wait to leave that city as soon as you were done with your final exams. Your father was supposed to visit you in the next few days, but you wanted to surprise him too by coming back home earlier.

You didn't tell anyone about your flight, taking a taxi outside the airport. Along the way, you were fascinated looking through the window. Your city hadn't changed too much, maybe a couple of shops and cafeterias, but that was everything. You couldn't help but sigh when you left the jungle of skyscrapers to Cold Spring, where you grew. A beautiful and small village with its own charm. Checking the time on your phone and finding some unread messages from your mother, you bite your lips with a soft grin on your lips imagining her face when she watched you there.

But before, you had to make a stop in your own house to leave your suitcase, have a shower and change your clothes. Yes, you would have preferred to have a quiet evening at your home, with your family, but James ‘Bucky’ Barnes was giving a party.

Oh, that man. Your first love. You knew him ever since, being the son of your father's best friend and, now, his associate. He had more than twelve years than you, but love didn't understand about age. And you were conscious that he felt something for you. Maybe attraction, maybe desire. Whatever was enough for you to keep alive the flame inside your heart. You weren't going to lie, you wanted, needed to see him after four years. Four long years without knowing anything about him more than what your father used to tell you about businesses and the presents Bucky used to send you on your birthday and Christmas with a short letter.

You didn't lose time in your task, getting ready to join the party in less than twenty minutes. Looking at your reflection in the mirror of your private bathroom, you couldn't help but feel butterflies fluttering within your belly, fantasizing about what he would do when he had you in front of his eyes. You were almost sweating, remembering how good it felt whenever he touched your hand slightly, or how his fingers gripped gently around your thigh sitting together —under the table. Bucky never crossed the limit since he wasn't an associate yet, but now he was the boss the story was pretty different.

The parking attendant took the keys of your car after opening the door for you and stepping out. You said thanks before taking a deep breath with a hand on your belly, trying to calm the nerves as you raised your eyes to the luxurious and ostentatious manor occupying completely your field of vision. The guests outside enjoying different kinds of conversations turned at you astonished but pleasantly surprised. You weren't the innocent girl that left that village four years ago anymore. You were a woman. A lawyer ready to take your throne. To take your place in the company. And you were stunning and radiant on your silk white dress with the back open and exposed.

Not wasting more time on being contemplated, you walked in swinging your hips sensually, calling everyone's attention. Your gaze traveled the place all around till they got bewitched by a pair of oceanic blue eyes among the crowd. Bucky was there between other men, listening to a conversation he wasn't interested in, with a glass of whisky close to his mouth. He took a sip, licking the flavor impregnated on his lips. For a reason you didn't understand, he didn't look surprised, nor curious to know how it was possible you were there. The smile that appeared on your face suddenly went down with disappointment, turning at the amazed tone of voice your father used to call you before embracing you into his arms.

The next hour, your parents introduced you to anyone who didn't meet you personally four years ago, making you feel out of place. Yes, you missed your home and your family, but Bucky's indifference broke your heart in a thousand pieces, glancing at him flirting with any women rattling his saber. Adoring him as if he was some kind of god. It was suffocating you to the point of watering your eyes. As soon as you could escape from the situation of your father showing you like a trophy, you went upstairs to the old library George Barnes owned, and where you used to spend a lot of time in your adolescence. It was a quiet room, soundproofed and packed with huge windows to the nearest forest. A view you liked to stare at in silence during autumn.

Walking inside and closing the door, you toured the hundreds of books thoroughly placed and conservated through the years, landing your fingers in an original version of Alice in Wonderland. You always felt like that, surrounded by people only moved and controlled by money. Money that gave you freedom for four long years in England, but the same that now was your sentence for life.

You couldn't help but shut your eyes when a fingertip traced your bare backbone, causing you goosebumps all over your skin. His strong scent flooded your lungs racing your pulse, as his closeness made jump your heart bout to fly off from your chest. You could recognize that touch between a million. The tenderness with he caressed you, the delicacy he had to admire your beautiful and warm skin.

“White makes you look like an angel”. Bucky whispered hoarsely into your ear, noticing him placing himself behind you.

You swallowed hard, keeping your lips parted while both hands found their way to your arms, pawing them down slowly till being laced with yours. Then, a fond kiss was placed on the back of your head. A sigh escaped his throat when he was able to sink his nose in your hair. The fruity, but subtle, smell dizzied him.

“Red…” He mumbled urging you to turn around and face him, stroking gently your bottom lip with his thumb when he had the opportunity. “Red makes you look like a dangerous weapon”.

“I've been both all my life, not needing clothes or makeup to demonstrate it”. You replied raising your chin in a proud gesture that caused him to chuckle.

“How many boys have kissed them?” Bucky wanted to know, shortening the distance between the two of you until he was practically melting with your body, wrapping his left arm around your lower back. His voice was so sensual that it made your legs feel weak.

But you didn't answer his question. No one. You didn't kiss anyone while you were in London. Barely neglecting your studies, only desiring to pass your exams and come back home to finish the last year of college in New York. You could swear that a lustful shine crossed fleetingly his pale blue eyes, trying to maintain his gaze while his thumb wandered down your throat, moving slowly between the gap of your neckline and enjoying how good it was to touch you again, continuing to your abdomen. Bucky urged you to rest your back against the library, bringing his lips closer to your ear at the moment his hands meet almost in your ass.

Shameless, he settled himself between your legs, leaving a kiss on the sweet spot behind your ear before tracing it with the tip of his nose. “So… you kept your promise”.

Your fingers got tangled strongly in the laps of his jacket when you remembered that precise instant before leaving your house four years ago.

September came with warm evenings and different kinds of orange, brown, and red decorating the trees all around Cold Spring. You were sitting on the grass of the back garden of your house, alone, drinking a glass of vodka. You knew how hard it was going to leave the place that gave you life, happiness, love. Bucky joined you without expecting it and gave you a bracelet made of white gold exactly like the one his father gave him for his eighteenth birthday, with the coordinates of his home —what took you some months to notice was that yours had his coordinates too—. And he asked you if you would wait for him all that time till you were back to his arms.

And there you were, with his lips tracing a path of sweet, loving kisses through your jawline. But they never touched yours, leaving you wanting more, needing him.

“Welcome home, doll”.

- Ron clung to Percy more than anyone else. No one really knew why. Not even Percy himself. But from as far back as he could remember, his youngest brother would follow him around, copy him, beg him to play or quite hold onto him somehow (like holding onto the ends of his clothes)

- When he was smaller and unable to say his brother's name, Ron used to call Percy "Perwe"

- Their favorite game besides chess was for Percy to be a Hogwarts professor and Ron a student and Percy got to teach him stuff and gave him "homework" (like one assignment was to color something)

- They were inseparable for quite a few years. Ron would be with his brother from dawn until bedtime and even then his parents had to force him to move. Percy didn't mind all that much at that time. It was really nice to have someone like that. Bill had Charlie. Fred and George had each other. And Ginny was the only girl

- Ron cried many times when he realized Percy had to leave for Hogwarts. Percy didn't like it either. It hurt knowing he had to be away, even if he was also excited for the new adventures he would have. At the train station, Ron leapt into his older brother's arms, burying his face in his stomach, mumbling incoherently. Percy returned the embrace just as tightly, quietly promising that he'd write often and that he'd miss him very much

- Ron cried a lot after that. Especially at night. Percy was his go-to person if he had a nightmare and now he was gone. Percy was upset as well. Sometimes when he was alone or late at night in his dorm, his eyes would get misty and he'd aggressively rub them

- Ron "wrote" a lot that year, which was really just scribbles with a few notes written by one of their parents. He never knew it, but Percy kept all of those with him even when they were all adults

- Percy made Ron laugh. When his youngest brother was smaller, he used to wait until everything was quiet and then make a silly face that had Ron shrieking with laughter. As he got older, at least for a little while, he liked Percy's dry humor

- Twice during first year, Ron sought out Percy for comfort because of a nightmare. He was embarrassed both times. Both times he crept to the fifth year boys dorm, opened the door and tiptoed over to his brothers bed; shaking him awkwardly and mumbling for him to wake up. Both times Percy did and he moved over without any words to allow his brother room. Ron left the next morning before his own dorm mates would notice his absence, each time giving Percy and his only dorm mate Oliver a half, yet tired smile

- Percy is a mother hen. After a couple of Ron's adventures with Harry and Hermione, Percy was proud yet frustrated that he was putting his life in danger. It was entirely too stressful. Shortly before his younger brother's third year, they had a talk.

"Ron-" Percy started to say. "What I meant to say is....oh for Merlin's sake!" Ron was standing there unsurely. "Promise me you'll stay out of danger this year?"

"Why?" Ron said with suspicion. As if he really had some ulterior motive.

For the first time in a long while, Percy pulled Ron into a brief hug. His brother was surprised, he knew that because he momentarily stiffened and then reciprocated. "I just don't want you to get hurt. Be careful, okay?"

Ron didn't say anything for nearly a minute. "Okay," he said quietly.

- as he got older, Ron, on occasion, had a nightmare about spiders or something, but instead of going to Percy, he'd just thrash around in bed. Percy could hear that and ended up coming to his brother's room, readjusting his blankets, ruffling Ron's hair and glancing at his face briefly before leaving. Ron never knew about that until years later

- Ron isn't one for talking out his feelings, even when he was younger. Percy found a way around it; he would come sit by his younger brother wherever he was and hand him a chocolate frog. They would eat it and it was Percy's way of conveying that he was there for Ron. It stopped for a while, during that time of estrangement between Percy and the family; but one evening after the war ended, with everyone quiet and teary, thinking of Fred, Percy found Ron sitting outside of the Burrow. The sun was setting and silently, Percy sat down beside him and slowly handed his brother the chocolate frog. Ron glanced out of the corner of his eye and took it, signaling the beginning of their repairing relationship

Prank (George Weasley x reader)

Warnings: swearing

Summary/request: Can you have it where a Ravenclaw x George Weasley image where the reader and George are dating and it's the readers birthday but George forgets and pranks her all throughout the day. And can you have it where she finally gets mad and yells at him and storms off. Also can you have it where they make up at the end. Thank you

You’d been so excited to turn 17, you had a big party in the Gryffindor common room for your boyfriend George for his 17th earlier this year. You weren’t expecting that much but you were excited to spend it with George.

You get woken up by Cho “Happy Birthday!” She wriggles into bed with you so you can open her present. “You didn’t need to get me anything Cho!” “I had to, you’re 17 it’s a big deal. She got you a necklace and she helps you put it on.

You get dressed for the day and go to the great hall for breakfast. You notice Fred and George stuffing their faces with food and you sit beside George. “Good morning, my love, you look gorgeous” George says and pecks your lips. “Thank you Georgie” he didn’t say happy birthday but it was okay, he called you gorgeous.

It’s the weekend which means Fred and George usually work on their products, nothing changed today. “I’ll see you in a couple hours Fred and I are just going through some things” he kisses your forehead and walks away. You decide to hang out with Angelina, you’d become close when her and Fred started dating.

“He completely left me and he didn’t get me anything, not that I need something from him but not even a happy birthday?” You rant to Angelina. “You don’t think he forgot, do you?” “No, I’ve been talking to George about my birthday for weeks, I’m 17 he wouldn’t forget” “They have been busy lately, it could have slipped his mind” “Don’t be silly, he didn’t forget.”

George finds you talking to Angelina in the Gryffindor common room. “Hey darling!” George kisses your cheek “Hi babe” you smile “I got you a cupcake” you look at Angelina and smile. You knew he didn’t forget, the cupcake has a pink heart in icing. “Thank you Georgie” you take a bite “How’s it taste?” “Good but I feel a bit weird.” Angelina screams when she sees your face in boils. Fred and George laugh “What the fuck George!” “Sorry, we had to test it on someone, take this, it should go away.” You take a bite of a blue icing covered cupcake and they go away within seconds. George can tell how mad you are “I’m sorry gorgeous” he moves your face to look at him, he kisses your lips. “I love you, I’m sorry” he sounds sincere “Go away” you cross your arms “I’m sorry, you normally are okay about it. I thought you’d be okay with that” “Yeah but not today, today is different” George doesn’t understand what that means but he doesn’t want to make you mad.

The rest of the day George was acting normally and you came up with a theory he was acting normal and playing lots of pranks so you’d think he forgot but he’s actually planning something big. So the relentless pranks they’d play on you didn’t make you too mad because you knew that was their aim.

They turned your pygmy puff into a big spider, gave you what you thought was water but it turned your hair green, slipped you a chocolate that made you vomit while you were eating a box of regular chocolates you got for your birthday. By the end of the day you were fuming, if they did one more thing you were sure you’d snap. You walk around a corner in the corridor and the twins jump out and yell at you scaring you half to death. Normally you’d laugh it off but you couldn’t handle it anymore.

While the twins were laughing you burst into tears “Fuck you both, especially you George. I’ve been talking about today for weeks, all I wanted was a simple Happy Birthday, I didn’t expect anything more,” you yell and walk off to your common room.

George mentally screamed at himself, he couldn’t believe it, he knew today was special but all day he couldn’t remember what it was. He bought her a present and everything weeks ago but they’d been so focused on other things it slipped his mind.

George makes sure to grab the present and he goes all the way to the Ravenclaw common room. He knocks on the door and you answer “What?” “I’m sorry, can we please talk?” “Come in” you sigh. He sits on the edge of your bed “I’m so sorry I forgot, I am the worst boyfriend in the word. I don’t have an excuse for forgetting but I bought you a present weeks ago and it would be a waste to not give it to you.” He passed you the very badly wrapped gift, you love it because it’s so George. You open it to find a beautiful bracelet, you can tell how expensive it is. “I’ve been saving for a long time to get it and I can’t believe I’ve fucked up this bad” “Thank you, it’s beautiful.”

You press your lips to his “I love you” he whispers “I love you too.” “If you give me like an hour I can sort out a whole party and you don’t have to do anything” “No, I don’t want a party, I just want to cuddle” “Are you sure? I feel bad.” “It’s what I want, that’s all I want” “Okay, let’s cuddle.”

“What are you talking about now?” Ron asked the twins as they were chatting about something loudly.

“It’s my Y/n‘s birthday next week,” Fred announced. “And we’ve got something spectacular planned,” George grinned, folding his arms over his chest.

You smiled at them and shook your head with a laugh, “I’m kinda worried what the two of you are working on to be honest. You’ve both been awfully mysterious about it all.”

“Oh don’t you worry about a thing, love! Things are gonna take off,” Fred replied with a smirk, “Gonna have a cracking-”

“-Absolutely sparkling-“ George added.

“Time,” they finished the sentence simultaneously.

You smiled at them, hearing a few chuckles from the others as they wandered away, heads bowed together as they conspired about something or other.

“Shit,” you said as soon as they were out of ear shot.

“What’s wrong?” Ron asked as he grabbed a bar of Honeydukes chocolate he’d left on a nearby table.

You sighed, “Their plan involves fireworks.” “Don’t all their plans involve fireworks?” Hermione asked with a small smile.

“Well yes but... this plan is for me. And from the hints they’ve been dropping, fireworks are a big part of the plan,” you chewed on your lip in thought and nervously clasped and unclasped your hands together.

Harry cleaned his glasses with the bottom of his jumper before returning them to his face, “Is that such a bad thing?”

“Well... usually no. But in this case... I thought I’d be able to go a bit longer without saying anything but... I don’t like fireworks. And by ‘don’t like’ I mean I am curling-into-a-ball-and-freaking-out petrified of them,” you admitted, looking down at your hands and sighing again.

“You’re scared of fireworks?”

“Scared is an understatement. Some people are scared of spiders - Ron - some of snakes, of clowns, of werewolves. My thing is fireworks.”

“But your boyfriend is Fred Weasley,” Ron said incredulously through a mouthful of chocolate.

“Oh yeah, cheers for that, Ron, I had almost forgotten,” you replied sarcastically.

Ron smiled before shaking his head, “No, I know, I just mean... well, how have you gone this long without telling him?”

You shifted in your seat, and avoided looking at any of them, “I just... haven’t. He loves them, doesn’t he? I can’t just tell him to stop using them just for my benefit.”

And that was the truth, really. You would never ask him to stop something he loved, and him and George used fireworks a lot in their pranks and such. It wouldn’t be fair to turn around and ask him to stop.

“Well... how badly are you afraid of them?” Hermione asked, tapping her chin in thought.

“I am more afraid of fireworks than Snape is of shampoo,” you joked, “No but seriously, I’ve had quite a few panic attacks over them - bad ones. I just... I can’t help it. I wish I liked them but I’m just terrified. And now Fred is planning something for my birthday and it’s very obvious that it involves fireworks. I don’t have the heart to tell him but... my heart’s thumping just from thinking about them.”

Hermione reached over to squeeze your hand reassuringly, “I’d speak to him beforehand, I’m sure he’d hate it more to do something that scares you.”

You smiled thankfully at her, “Yeah I’ll um... I’ll try and speak to him.”

Your birthday arrived much quicker than you’d hoped, and you’d woken up with an uncomfortable feeling in your stomach. You hadn’t gotten the heart or courage to confront Fred about his plans for your birthday - he seemed much too excited any time you saw him - and by any means you didn’t want him to feel as though he had to change everything he’d been working on. You appreciated the effort and adored the lengths he went to to show you how much he cared and didn’t ever want him to know you weren’t as excited as him for what was to happen.

Your day went by quite normally, your friends and other students passing by to wish you a happy birthday. The only oddity was you hadn’t seen the twins all day, and it was nearing evening. The thought put you on edge, as you assumed they were working on whatever it was they’d been planning. Despite this, you couldn’t help but miss them - particularly your boyfriend - and hoped they’d make an appearance soon.

You’d just finished your evening meal when your eyes flickered to the ginger boy entering the Great Hall, a carbon copy of your doting boyfriend however completely different in your eyes.

“Happy Birthday, Y/n!” George grinned as he sat beside you on the bench and gave you a side hug, “Sorry we haven’t seen you all day, must’ve been rubbish without us, eh?” You smiled back, “Thank you Georgie! Yes I suppose it has - potions was definitely more boring than usual. You um... haven’t seen your dear twin at all, have you?”

“Ah, you wouldn’t happen to be referring to Freddie boy there, would you? I have indeed seen him and the main reason I am here is to escort you to him,” George stood you and held his hand out. You shook your head fondly and took it, allowing him to pull you up and out of the hall.

He led you down the main hallway and towards the doors of the castle, then out onto the Hogwarts grounds.

“Where are we going?” You asked as you followed the younger twin across the grass.

“You’ll see! You’re gonna love this, Y/n! Fred has been planning this for ages - with my help, of course,” George boasted as he shot a grin over his shoulder at you.

You faked a smile, hoping it was believable enough to look like excitement as you tried to hide that your heart was trying to escape your chest and you could hear blood rushing in your ears.

“George..?” You began.

“Yeah?”

Taking a deep breath, you continued on as you glanced down at your feet, “It’s probably much too late to say anything now but I really don’t like-“

“Happy birthday, darlin’!” A familiar voice interrupted you, halting your sentence in the middle. Your eyes flickered up to rest on the welcome sight of your boyfriend and you couldn’t help but smile when you saw his messy ginger hair and cheeky grin.

He wrapped his arms around you and pulled you into a warm hug, one you accepted instantly and happily as you hadn’t seen him all day.

George made himself sparse, leaving you alone with your boyfriend who pressed his lips to yours in a sweet kiss, making up for the fact he’d been gone all day.

As you pulled away, he immediately moved back in to kiss you again, mumbling how much he’d missed you (even though it had only been a day), before finally placing a last chaste kiss to your swollen lips. He then grabbed your hand and pulled you towards the Forbidden Forest, where you noticed lights twinkling in a nearby clearing.

He led you over, his fingers locked around yours as he bit his lip and looked at you, “Surprise, love!”

Your eyes locked on the scene, a blanket laid out with your favourite foods on top, bags of Honeydukes items sitting beside it and a pile of presents - wrapped messily in brown paper and tied with wonky bows - scattered across the grass next to the blanket. Small, glittering lights hung from the tree branches around the clearing, casting a light glow and illuminating both the food and the dozens of pillows that you noticed were also piled around.

“Thought we could spend some time together without anyone interrupting us or anything. Also got some new things we’ve been working on that I want to show you before we show anyone else,” Fred explained, nodding over to a stack of what you assumed were Wizard Wheezes products.

“Oh Merlin... this is beautiful... it’s amazing,” you murmured.

And it was. It was so lovely and thoughtful. You adored it.

Yet, as you were staring at the scene, in awe at how beautiful the fairy lights were, you couldn’t help the voice in the back of your mind reminding you about the fireworks, not knowing when they were going to go off but sure it would be soon.

Suddenly, you heard Fred chuckling beside you and you frowned as you looked over at him. “What’s so funny?” You asked nervously.

“There are no fireworks, love,” he said simply, shoving his hands into his pockets, the hint of a smile resting on his lips.

Your jaw dropped almost comically, “What? What do you- How did you- How could you possibly know I was thinking about them?”

“You keep looking around as if you’re waiting for something. Just letting you know there are no fireworks so you can relax, babe. I know you’re terrified of them so they were never part of the plan. You really think I don’t know you well enough to know that?” He mocked with a playful grin.

Your mouth opened and closed as you stuttered out, “I-I never told you-“

“Didn’t have to, I saw your reaction to the small sparklers me and Georgie made to throw around and realised then. I notice everything about you, love,” he said sincerely.

You turned to him with shock on your features, jabbing him lightly in the chest as you scolded him, “Then why in the name of Merlin’s saggy left ballsack would you make me believe your plan relied on fireworks?!”

“Just like to mess with you, love,” he gave you a cheeky grin, and you wanted to be mad but looking at him, you couldn’t bring yourself to be. Still, you tried to be as you gave him a fake glare, “Fred! I’ve been working myself up over this for days! You’re a right prat!”

However, you couldn’t help the relieved giggle that left your lips as you rested your forehead against his chest and sighed contently now you were back at ease.

“I’m your prat though.”

“Hmm, I suppose so,” you mumbled into his jumper as his hands rested on your waist, him leaning his chin on the top of your head. You stayed stood up, in his arms, for a while before you decided to speak again, “Doesn’t it bother you that you’ll probably never be able to use fireworks in my vicinity?”

Fred pulled away for a moment to look down at you, his features softening as he took in the sight of your nervous demeanour, “Honestly? I’d give up fireworks forever if it meant you’d stick around.”

You smiled wide, blushing as you hid your face again in his chest, “Don’t get too sappy on me, Weasley.”

“Me? Sappy? Never.”

“Hmm..” You hummed, unconvinced. “Just want you to know I love you more than anything, and that includes fireworks,” he said earnestly, the corner of his mouth flicking up into a small smile.

“Stop being so cute,” you grumbled.

“No can do, love, I’m the cutest!” He announced, laughing as you pulled him down by his collar. You smiled and shook your head just as your lips grazed his,

“Well I guess I can’t argue with that.”
