I finished season 2 of Ginny & Georgia. Some thoughts and ramblings of season 2.

I liked season 2, so much more than season 1. The characters didn't annoy me as much this time around.

I wish writers from other shows would take notes from the G&G writers and see how they can fit so much in an episode. So much can happen in the first 15 minutes! Also, how to write an ensemble with each character (lead or minor) has great storylines.

I grew to love Paul so much this season especially in the last episode where he stood up for Georgia, Ginny and Austin.

Loving the friendship between Paul and Zion. It is nice to see a dad and stepdad getting along.

I didn't agree with how Max treated her friends at the start of the season. I get she was hurt but she took her anger a little too far. Glad she saw how she was acting and apologized.

There were so many serious topics (TW: such as self-harm, depression, eating disorder) that I hope they respectfully talk about each issue in the next season.

I missed the friendship between Georgia and Ellen and I wish we saw more of that.

I was not prepared for that Joe and Cynthia storyline.

Bravo to whoever's cast the younger versions. They were spot on!

I must be blind I didn't know Joe was the one who knew her as a kid omg and he's so in love with her does she know it's him? Honestly I ship Joe and her too bad they didn't get together.

I'm hoping they will get together on s3 (if we get one) or that we at least get more content. Their interactions in s02 were good, but so few! It's so unfair because they are 100% the best ship on the show, there's no comparison.

And yes, Georgia knew right from the beginning. Like, in their first interation he asks "do i know you?" and she answers with "i don't know, do you?" And she kept saying things related to their conversation as kids throughout all of s01 ("don't cry over spilled condiments" "i'll cry if i damn want to."; and "finally got your horses, huh?"). Also in season two she admits to him she knew it was him beforehand when he gives her the sunglasses back, remember?

i really don't understand how we went from 20+ episodes a year to 6-10 episodes once every TWO years
